“I took my girlfriend to The Avenue Brunch House on Michigan Ave in Dearborn to celebrate her birthday, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The restaurant is beautiful inside, the wait was short, and our server, Veronica, was absolutely wonderful. The food—wow!—large portions, perfectly cooked, and reasonably priced. The drinks were excellent too. It was the perfect birthday brunch for her and a great time for both of us. A true gem in Dearborn—highly recommended!”

The salsa they serve on the side is delightful & the server I had I believe her name was Katie, she made my husband & I feel very welcome as it was our first time & we weren’t sure what to get, she didn’t rush us into anything & even recommended a few items that she likes, the breakfast burrito being one of them which I can’t thank her enough for. I also love the look of the place the windows make it feel so open & when the suns out it’s a very pretty little cafe aesthetic to dine at. I didn’t rate 5* because even though the service & food was great their was a lot of commotion in the kitchen & even some yelling which just kind of makes the dining experience a bit awkward, wish they were more professional.”

“Obsessed. I stop in here at least twice per week for my usual vanilla latte with oat milk, which I highly recommend. The freshly made treats are delicious. The artwork is always interesting and changes frequently enough that it's always worth a trip inside even though they have a super convenient walk-up window. “Came here for the first time based on a google search for a coffee shop and tried the Yemeni Scrambled Eggs and it came with khubz and sawawik on the side. They also have American type dishes for breakfast and lunch. I also had a gingerbread latte. Everything was so tasty and came out quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and while the place is hidden in a small strip mall off Outer Drive and Pelham, there was a constant flow of patrons. Only complaint is that it’s cold throughout the restaurant (winter time) from the door opening constantly. I recommend (if allowed) they get an exterior entrance enclosure so there’s a space between the outer and inner door.”

“Roman Village Cucina Italiana is absolutely phenomenal. Their homemade pastas, pizza, entrees, seafood and specialty dishes are incredible. The food is particularly amazing. Their wine list is extensive and selected with care. They have signature dishes that have earned them a stellar reputation within the city of Dearborn/Detroit border where it's located and the Metropolitan Detroit area in general. Come for lunch or dinner, make sure you have dessert and try something new each time you visit. Everything is spectacular. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Very well done.”

“We've eaten here a few times recently and every time has been delicious! We have loved everything we've tried so far. The complimentary spicy garlic sauce with the bread is so good. The salad is so fresh and we love the dressing and pita chips in it. The hummus is great. The chicken schwarma sandwich is yummy and a great lunch deal. But we usually split the platter for 2 when we are both eating here because it lets you try multiple things and gives you way more food. we always have leftovers so we get to eat more of this amazing food later on. All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like. It was one worth the price and worth regular price.
Nice, tasty chili and the bun was steamed.
The natural casing hot dog had a slight snap to it..... Not the best of dogs, but it was pretty good.
I would definitely come back to this place, as it's a really good coney, better than Kerby's, which I know is not saying much.
I went to Duley's for the first time yesterday and that coney was terrible.”

We had the streaky bacon brioche with scrambled eggs, cheddar and fresh chives, every mouth full was so tasty the bacon was crispy, not greasy it was light it actually reminded me of bacon frazzle crisps it was that light. The scrambled eggs were so light and fluffy perfectly paired with the toasted brioche bun. To drink I had a chemex coffee using a Kenyon blend it was fruity and full of flavor. Then to finish a flat white which was beautiful. I highly recommended Sams Coffee we will be back very soon”

Sana'a's Old City One of the oldest continuously-inhabited cities in the world (others being Jericho, Damascus and Aleppo), Sana'a is believed to have been founded by Shem, the son of Noah. As a result, the city has the unlikely nickname of "Sam City". A absolutely explosion of flavor many Yemeni folks drive from around metro Detroit to enjoy a taste of home. I asked our superstar waitress Katie Rose to have chef make me special 20 buck Yemen Food platter OMG fantastic with half Yemeni Chicken, Tender Moist Lamb on a bed of the Famous Yemen Rice and hot sizzling bowl of Saltah Saltah (Arabic: سلتة) is a Yemeni dish. It is widely eaten in northern parts of the country. It is mainly served for lunch. The base is a brown meat stew called maraq, a dollop of fenugreek froth, and sahawiq or sahowqa (a mixture of chillies, tomatoes, garlic, and herbs ground into a salsa). A couple fresh hot outta the oven, Malawah Bread is one of the many kinds of bread eaten in Yemen. What makes it unique is that it is layered and folded with butter or ghee inside which makes it very tasty. She had a special Yemeni Chicken topped salad. “I must express profound disappointment and palpable frustration with our recent dining experience at Benihana. The entire meal felt like a series of unfortunate events. To begin with, my shrimp was so charred it was nearly inedible. More bafflingly, our cook felt it apt to throw food at us, a gesture neither entertaining nor appropriate. My sister clearly informed the cook of her mushroom and shellfish allergies, yet he carelessly used the same utensils for her dish, causing an immediate allergic reaction. My brother also tried, multiple times, to clarify his order, only to be ignored; the cook placed what he deemed fit onto his plate. I ordered the trio, and while he confirmed my order, he only gave me shrimp and steak. I expressed to him that I didn't receive my chicken, but was met with an attitude. He questioned why I didn't clarify at the start. I reminded him that I had indeed specified my order when he initially asked, and it was even written down on the order sheet he was using. Despite the evidence, he seemed uninterested in rectifying the oversight and continued to display a dismissive demeanor. This lack of attention to detail and blatant disregard for customer communication left me deeply frustrated and tainted our entire dining experience. The indifference continued when my niece and her father requested double rice, only to be met with evident reluctance. And later, when I inquired about sauce, the response came with a touch of disdain, suggesting such requests should have been made at the outset. Our intention for visiting Benihana was to celebrate my niece's dance competition success. But the evening was anything but celebratory. As we were leaving, hoping to address our concerns, I asked the hosting stand for additional contacts or a manager. They vaguely suggested calling back the next day, all while standing around, exuding a palpable disinterest. Given this regrettable and frustrating experience, I firmly believe seeking a refund is both appropriate and warranted.”

“I recently stumbled upon this hidden gem of a food truck parked at the corner of Schaffer and Warren Ave, and I can honestly say it took me straight back to my hometown in Lebanon. The food is absolutely delicious—so authentic, I had to check my location, where it said Schaffer and Warren, just to make sure I wasn't back in Beirut! Every bite was bursting with flavor, from the perfectly seasoned, crispy chicken to the mouthwatering batata sandwich. The food truck is impressively clean, and the service? Top-notch. The staff greeted me with warmth and were super attentive, making sure everything was perfect. It's rare to find a place that feels like home, especially when it comes to Lebanese cuisine, but this truck nailed it. If you're craving authentic Middle Eastern flavors, this is the spot to be!”

“Came here for the first time based on a google search for a coffee shop and tried the Yemeni Scrambled Eggs and it came with khubz and sawawik on the side. They also have American type dishes for breakfast and lunch. I also had a gingerbread latte. Everything was so tasty and came out quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and while the place is hidden in a small strip mall off Outer Drive and Pelham, there was a constant flow of patrons. Only complaint is that it’s cold throughout the restaurant (winter time) from the door opening constantly. I recommend (if allowed) they get an exterior entrance enclosure so there’s a space between the outer and inner door.”

“Genuinely the best sonic i've ever been to. Came here late one night with a MASSIVE order ($85). They got the entire order out within 5 minutes and didn't miss a single item, and we even had some fun banter about the Doctor Pepper with pickles.
Highly recommend this location, I cannot express that enough!! The night staff deserves a raise”

“It’s a food truck in a Shell gas station (that’s where we got drinks 😄). We ordered several things…but OG smash burger, honey garlic chicken, and plain salted fries - ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The burger was juicy and had a lot of flavor. Honey garlic chicken was made really well. The fries tho…it’s been awhile since I had fries that I just want to devour by themselves without any other condiments and I could’ve totally eaten an entire large order by myself! “You don’t really expect much from a restaurant inside a gas station, but this place surprised me. I come to this gas station often and never realized they’d been here for three years. I’m pretty picky, but the two young gentlemen working made the experience great. The one taking my order was smiling and laughing the whole time and stayed patient even though I kept changing my order. The other young gentleman had my food ready in about 10 minutes. The food was great, especially the Original sandwich. My only complaint is that I wish they had more combo meals. I’ll definitely be back.”

“Today was my first time trying MUD & Marble Coffee House in Dearborn, and I had a really good experience!
Technically, it’s located inside a gas station, but they’ve created a really nice and welcoming space. I tried their Spanish Latte, and it was really good! Maybe a little bit sweet for my taste, but next time I’ll just ask for less sweetness.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend giving them a try. Good luck!”
