“5 stars is not even enough to describe the experience that myself and my family had. First and foremost i want to thank the host, and staff by giving me such an amazing experience. The service was top tier, water constantly filled and napkin and silverware constantly replaced. I walked in with my family and the vibe and people were very pleasant. Host sat us to our table and explained what the apps were and described her favorite choices. She didn't go wrong with that, we had the lamb sticky ribs, and chipotle chicken bites. My God the flavor was sweet and savory with an amazing amount of tenderness from the ribs and crispiness from the chicken. Then our waitress took our order with such patience and professionalism i appreciated everything that she had to offer. I ordered the fish and chips sandwich and the salmon also the ribeye melt. Please anyone reading this, these items are the GO TO if you are dining in for the first time. The crunchiness from the sourdough on that fish sandwich is too good to be true. The gravy that comes with the steak melt, my son was dipping his fingers with the fries of how much he enjoyed it. The Salmon had such an amazing flavor it was super pleasant. Had a few mocktails which was very good, beats a soda and a water any day. This will always be my go to place, probably the best in Dearborn. Thank you Birdie! Ill def come again soon!!”

“I took my girlfriend to The Avenue Brunch House on Michigan Ave in Dearborn to celebrate her birthday, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The restaurant is beautiful inside, the wait was short, and our server, Veronica, was absolutely wonderful. The food—wow!—large portions, perfectly cooked, and reasonably priced. The drinks were excellent too. It was the perfect birthday brunch for her and a great time for both of us. A true gem in Dearborn—highly recommended!”

“Came here for the first time based on a google search for a coffee shop and tried the Yemeni Scrambled Eggs and it came with khubz and sawawik on the side. They also have American type dishes for breakfast and lunch. I also had a gingerbread latte. Everything was so tasty and came out quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and while the place is hidden in a small strip mall off Outer Drive and Pelham, there was a constant flow of patrons. Only complaint is that it’s cold throughout the restaurant (winter time) from the door opening constantly. I recommend (if allowed) they get an exterior entrance enclosure so there’s a space between the outer and inner door.”

“We visited La Gelati in West Dearborn and had a truly fantastic experience. The ice cream itself was incredibly delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the different kinds we ordered. What made this visit unforgettable, however, was the outstanding service we received regarding food safety.
One of the workers went completely above and beyond for my family. She took the time to help us find a non-allergic soft serve ice cream option for my son, and then actually went all the way into the back to bring out fresh, uncontaminated sprinkles to ensure his treat was entirely safe. It is rare to find a place that takes food allergies this seriously, and it gave us total peace of mind.
The only minor downside is that the shop was quite busy, and with only three workers on shift, it took a little while to get served. However, seeing the level of care and attention they put into helping customers, the short wait was absolutely worth it. We will definitely be returning!”

“PF Chang's just doesn't taste great anymore. I've gotten burned so many times at several locations post covid that I refused to order on our Mother's Day outing. At least 3 guests were unsatisfied. My family is stuck on PF Chang's, though. I don't understand it. The cocktails are a losing bet too.
Father's Day I dared to try my go to. Crispy Honey Chicken and a side of Lo Mein. The chicken seemed different than pre covid but at least tasty.. a lil too sour and peppery? Which is hard to achieve for me. I ordered the Midnight Gallop, and for some reason I was served a non-alcoholic version (Refresher). I guess I'm glad because virtually every other time we've gotten alcohol, we regretted it. Their wine is fine, the Dragon Fruit Crush is bomb. But we had to send the old fashioned back cuz it didn't taste like any liquor. Just some nasty mixer. Enough is enough.”

They went out of the way to take care of us, the restaurant is beautiful on the inside as well. I definitely think you should pay this place a visit and try the food. We had a little bit of everything off the menu and can say that everything we had was good. Definitely a nice place we'll be back. My favorite thing off the menu was the pierogi breakfast.”

“My only complaint is that whatever they use to clean the floors leaves a slippery/greasy residue, and whatever they use to clean the tables has a very strong smell. If I could suggest anything it would be to use something else bc the Lysol smell ruins the eating experience. I love this place. It’s a good coney, so if you are expecting something other than a coney check your expectations. Something has changed about it, and for the better. Food quality actually has gotten better. Staff is sweet and friendly and on the ball.”

“We've eaten here a few times recently and every time has been delicious! We have loved everything we've tried so far. The complimentary spicy garlic sauce with the bread is so good. The salad is so fresh and we love the dressing and pita chips in it. The hummus is great. The chicken schwarma sandwich is yummy and a great lunch deal. But we usually split the platter for 2 when we are both eating here because it lets you try multiple things and gives you way more food. we always have leftovers so we get to eat more of this amazing food later on. All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like. Greeted by the most lovely staff, I was seated in very comfortable chairs, surrounded by the most awe-inspiring Yemeni art pieces. Beautiful Yemeni outfits and jambiyas adorn the walls with decadence and flair that bring one’s presence to the motherland of the Middle East. Mashallah I felt like I had a small glimpse into heaven, joyful energy with families all around just enjoying the evening to the fullest. I had the Lamb Haneeth which really filled my taste buds with tantalizing flavors one can only describe as truly satisfying, invigorating, captivating, breathtaking, and utterly wonderful. To think there was an entire menu yet undiscovered I come to realize this was only the beginning of my adventures towards absolute joyfulness, happiness, satisfaction, and fulfillment through exploring the decadence of Middle Eastern cuisine. “I am a former employee of bakery dept at 15255 Michigan Ave in Dearborn. I gave 5 stars for one reason only LAURA J. She is the best cake decorator I have ever seen. Her customer service skills are phenomenal. She is an excellent trainer. She is very patient and thoughtful with new employees. She did not expect you to learn things overnight that she has practiced for years. I took a picture of her skills in progress. Due to staffing she is not doing special orders but she can write on a cake if you get there early enough. I made sure the bakery was cleaned nightly. You could literally eat off those floors. ?”

A little bit too salty the other party got tour of Italiano, which was three items lasagna chicken, Parmesan and pasta they were pretty good, but there was too much food. We had to take a box to go. The waitress was nice and we will return.”

“I must express profound disappointment and palpable frustration with our recent dining experience at Benihana. The entire meal felt like a series of unfortunate events. To begin with, my shrimp was so charred it was nearly inedible. More bafflingly, our cook felt it apt to throw food at us, a gesture neither entertaining nor appropriate. My sister clearly informed the cook of her mushroom and shellfish allergies, yet he carelessly used the same utensils for her dish, causing an immediate allergic reaction. My brother also tried, multiple times, to clarify his order, only to be ignored; the cook placed what he deemed fit onto his plate. I ordered the trio, and while he confirmed my order, he only gave me shrimp and steak. I expressed to him that I didn't receive my chicken, but was met with an attitude. He questioned why I didn't clarify at the start. I reminded him that I had indeed specified my order when he initially asked, and it was even written down on the order sheet he was using. Despite the evidence, he seemed uninterested in rectifying the oversight and continued to display a dismissive demeanor. This lack of attention to detail and blatant disregard for customer communication left me deeply frustrated and tainted our entire dining experience. The indifference continued when my niece and her father requested double rice, only to be met with evident reluctance. And later, when I inquired about sauce, the response came with a touch of disdain, suggesting such requests should have been made at the outset. Our intention for visiting Benihana was to celebrate my niece's dance competition success. But the evening was anything but celebratory. As we were leaving, hoping to address our concerns, I asked the hosting stand for additional contacts or a manager. They vaguely suggested calling back the next day, all while standing around, exuding a palpable disinterest. Given this regrettable and frustrating experience, I firmly believe seeking a refund is both appropriate and warranted.”

“Came here for the first time based on a google search for a coffee shop and tried the Yemeni Scrambled Eggs and it came with khubz and sawawik on the side. They also have American type dishes for breakfast and lunch. I also had a gingerbread latte. Everything was so tasty and came out quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and while the place is hidden in a small strip mall off Outer Drive and Pelham, there was a constant flow of patrons. Only complaint is that it’s cold throughout the restaurant (winter time) from the door opening constantly. I recommend (if allowed) they get an exterior entrance enclosure so there’s a space between the outer and inner door.”

“We visited La Gelati in West Dearborn and had a truly fantastic experience. The ice cream itself was incredibly delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the different kinds we ordered. What made this visit unforgettable, however, was the outstanding service we received regarding food safety.
One of the workers went completely above and beyond for my family. She took the time to help us find a non-allergic soft serve ice cream option for my son, and then actually went all the way into the back to bring out fresh, uncontaminated sprinkles to ensure his treat was entirely safe. It is rare to find a place that takes food allergies this seriously, and it gave us total peace of mind.
The only minor downside is that the shop was quite busy, and with only three workers on shift, it took a little while to get served. However, seeing the level of care and attention they put into helping customers, the short wait was absolutely worth it. We will definitely be returning!”

The burger was juicy and had a lot of flavor. Honey garlic chicken was made really well. The fries tho…it’s been awhile since I had fries that I just want to devour by themselves without any other condiments and I could’ve totally eaten an entire large order by myself! “I used to think that Wing Snob had the absolute best tenders due to their size, breading and juiciness.
Side Chic’s blows them out of the water along with every other spot in Detroit/Dearborn (Savvy Sliders, Checkers, KFC, Chic Fil A, Chick N Kingz etc.)
The breading on the tenders is very, very flavorful. They also put the perfect amount of breading on each tender.
I absolutely hate overbreaded tenders where it feels like you’re chewing through multiple layers till you hit chicken.
Side Chic’s avoids this completely by having a nice layer of breading that adds flavor and doesn’t distract from the chicken.
The chicken itself is hot, juicy and well textured. This is not rubbery, dry chicken. The only other way I can describe it is it just tastes fresh. I was thoroughly impressed.
Side Chic’s is a carry out spot that’s open very, very late (which is awesome). Everyone who works there is incredibly pleasant and helpful.
Also, even though the chicken is fresh and made to order, your food comes out in a fairly quick manner.
I really can’t say enough good things about Side Chic’s. Best Chicken Tenders I’ve had in the Detroit/Dearborn area!”
