“I took my girlfriend to The Avenue Brunch House on Michigan Ave in Dearborn to celebrate her birthday, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The restaurant is beautiful inside, the wait was short, and our server, Veronica, was absolutely wonderful. The food—wow!—large portions, perfectly cooked, and reasonably priced. The drinks were excellent too. It was the perfect birthday brunch for her and a great time for both of us. A true gem in Dearborn—highly recommended!”

With guidance from our friendly server, we chose Fetah with meat as our appetizer and the half-chicken meal to share. It was so much food. The naan was delicious and the chicken and rice was spiced perfectly. The Fetah with meat was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The crispy pita chips, garlicky yogurt and chick peas and savory meat were simply delicious! Highly recommend!”

“Came here for the first time based on a google search for a coffee shop and tried the Yemeni Scrambled Eggs and it came with khubz and sawawik on the side. They also have American type dishes for breakfast and lunch. I also had a gingerbread latte. Everything was so tasty and came out quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and while the place is hidden in a small strip mall off Outer Drive and Pelham, there was a constant flow of patrons. Only complaint is that it’s cold throughout the restaurant (winter time) from the door opening constantly. I recommend (if allowed) they get an exterior entrance enclosure so there’s a space between the outer and inner door.”

“My only complaint is that whatever they use to clean the floors leaves a slippery/greasy residue, and whatever they use to clean the tables has a very strong smell. If I could suggest anything it would be to use something else bc the Lysol smell ruins the eating experience. I love this place. It’s a good coney, so if you are expecting something other than a coney check your expectations. Something has changed about it, and for the better. Food quality actually has gotten better. Staff is sweet and friendly and on the ball.”

“We've eaten here a few times recently and every time has been delicious! We have loved everything we've tried so far. The complimentary spicy garlic sauce with the bread is so good. The salad is so fresh and we love the dressing and pita chips in it. The hummus is great. The chicken schwarma sandwich is yummy and a great lunch deal. But we usually split the platter for 2 when we are both eating here because it lets you try multiple things and gives you way more food. we always have leftovers so we get to eat more of this amazing food later on. All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like. It was one worth the price and worth regular price.
Nice, tasty chili and the bun was steamed.
The natural casing hot dog had a slight snap to it..... Not the best of dogs, but it was pretty good.
I would definitely come back to this place, as it's a really good coney, better than Kerby's, which I know is not saying much.

Zaytoona Mediterranean in Dearborn Michigan This is some of the best Lebanese-American food I've had thus far. After many days and nights of eating great home-cooked Halal Chicken I bought with my EBT card I got to eat some Lamb Kofta. This Lamb Kofta was roasted to perfection and tasted excellent. The restaurant was gorgeous, and the interior design was beautiful, too. The tables had what I believe is a type of polished granite that was really, really beautiful. I had lentil soup yesterday and it tasted really really good. The biscuits were chewy and goey and that was delicious. This place was truly an unforgettable experience. “So my friends and I were wandering around and needed some place to go and this spot was open. It was a week night in Dearborn so I really didn't expect a lot to be open but surprisingly this was a pretty solid area and a solid spot to walk around and bar hop .
There's free parking if the back lot is open so you don't have to worry about paying for parking. That's a good sign. We walked around and it's very walkable here so you don't have to stay at one spot once you park .
We came in for drinks and had a good time. They have a pool table there so we got some pool lamps. That was pretty cool as well. They have an indoor, obviously , in an outdoor seating area there were people who are sitting outside, having a good time, enjoying the night time, while we were inside at the bar. There's plenty of space there so you don't have to worry about necessarily bumping into people and that was actually pretty cool too.
Depending on when you go, you may come across a crowd because when we got there there was almost nobody there by the time we were leaving. It was about to get a little bit hectic. Not a whole lot but a little bit. That's perfectly okay because everybody's trying to find a place to go at midnight just like we were .
I would definitely stop in here just to get a couple of drinks and be able to walk around. I had a good time there. No problem and no issues .”

“I must express profound disappointment and palpable frustration with our recent dining experience at Benihana. The entire meal felt like a series of unfortunate events. To begin with, my shrimp was so charred it was nearly inedible. More bafflingly, our cook felt it apt to throw food at us, a gesture neither entertaining nor appropriate. My sister clearly informed the cook of her mushroom and shellfish allergies, yet he carelessly used the same utensils for her dish, causing an immediate allergic reaction. My brother also tried, multiple times, to clarify his order, only to be ignored; the cook placed what he deemed fit onto his plate. I ordered the trio, and while he confirmed my order, he only gave me shrimp and steak. I expressed to him that I didn't receive my chicken, but was met with an attitude. He questioned why I didn't clarify at the start. I reminded him that I had indeed specified my order when he initially asked, and it was even written down on the order sheet he was using. Despite the evidence, he seemed uninterested in rectifying the oversight and continued to display a dismissive demeanor. This lack of attention to detail and blatant disregard for customer communication left me deeply frustrated and tainted our entire dining experience. The indifference continued when my niece and her father requested double rice, only to be met with evident reluctance. And later, when I inquired about sauce, the response came with a touch of disdain, suggesting such requests should have been made at the outset. Our intention for visiting Benihana was to celebrate my niece's dance competition success. But the evening was anything but celebratory. As we were leaving, hoping to address our concerns, I asked the hosting stand for additional contacts or a manager. They vaguely suggested calling back the next day, all while standing around, exuding a palpable disinterest. Given this regrettable and frustrating experience, I firmly believe seeking a refund is both appropriate and warranted.”

The food is absolutely delicious—so authentic, I had to check my location, where it said Schaffer and Warren, just to make sure I wasn't back in Beirut! Every bite was bursting with flavor, from the perfectly seasoned, crispy chicken to the mouthwatering batata sandwich. The food truck is impressively clean, and the service? Top-notch. “Great place to get your sweet fix. I get their baklava tray often to either gift it to someone or to distribute at my office. I really like their Tiramisu, my favorite among their cakes, which quite frankly they have a ton of options for. Really like their pistachio ice cream as well. If you have to try an item is recommend you give kanafa a try. Believe me it's really good. It can get pretty busy and you will need to take a token to wait for your turn. Seating can may be difficult to get during the busy hours as well.”

“Came here for the first time based on a google search for a coffee shop and tried the Yemeni Scrambled Eggs and it came with khubz and sawawik on the side. They also have American type dishes for breakfast and lunch. I also had a gingerbread latte. Everything was so tasty and came out quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and while the place is hidden in a small strip mall off Outer Drive and Pelham, there was a constant flow of patrons. Only complaint is that it’s cold throughout the restaurant (winter time) from the door opening constantly. I recommend (if allowed) they get an exterior entrance enclosure so there’s a space between the outer and inner door.”

The fries tho…it’s been awhile since I had fries that I just want to devour by themselves without any other condiments and I could’ve totally eaten an entire large order by myself! “Clean. Had grilled and fried jumbo chicken tenders, salads, crunch wraos and sweet rolls at the Dearborn location. We tried chicken tenders, the fried chicken sandwich, and grilled chicken sandwich. Fried chicken was good, a little salty but better than being bland, firm but tender, not chewy, moist, and flavorful. Grilled chicken also flavorful but not as salty. Mac & cheese had good flavor but too mushy (overcooked). Sweet rolls were $8 for some, $10 for others. Rolls were baked through great with gooey fillings. OG was our favorite! The biscoff cookie butter flavor didnt come through as much as the cinnamon filling did. Same with the oreo flavor - bit too much cinnamon with the crushed oreos for filling but the topping was great. Peach cobbler was really good but not half as much cinnamon as the biscoff and oreos - surprisingly. Been wanting to try these for months and SO glad we did!”

I asked if they could add whole garlic cloves, and they were happy to accommodate, which I really appreciated. My only wish is that they were roasted until they became soft, sweet, and almost spreadable—like a beautiful garlic paste. That’s the flavor I was hoping for. If they ever dial that in, I genuinely think it could put this pizza on the map.
The dough… wow. The undercarriage was exactly how I like it—crispy, sturdy, and perfectly baked. You can tell the foundation for an incredible pizza is already here.
Now imagine this mushroom burrata pizza finished with roasted garlic cloves and just a light drizzle of truffle oil. That would take it from great to unforgettable.
