We wanted to try a noodle dish that sounded SO good…but we don’t eat pork and they wouldn’t allow the omission. However, everything else we tried was delicious! Smaller servings so you’ll have to order a few plates. Definitely would recommend.”

I always want to be inclusive of food allergies, but most bakeries don't offer accommodations. Getting both egg AND gluten free in one cake was a big deal. A gluten-eater even had one and declared them so good, they were the cupcakes he *wished* he'd had at a recent celebration, instead of the ones served! And on top of being delicious, they were absolutely beautiful. I will definitely be recommending you to all my Mizzou colleagues for future events!”

“Do yourself a favor and check this place out! This is our second time in recent months. We had the beef bulgogi, salmon and a couple sushi rolls. You get a free appetizer that they choose also. For what you get, it is very affordable and you can tell made with love. We'll definitely be back!”

“My wife and I had a late lunch there today and Riley who was taking care of the bar, also took care of our table. We had not eaten there since they moved to the new location. We started with the Calamari and we had just a few minutes to chat after we finished and our meals were brough to us. My wife had the Ravioli Aragosta and I had the spicy Chicken and Sausage. The meals looked great and tasted even better. The fresh bread that was brought to the table was perfect! Riley took care of all of our needs, and we never felt rushed. I definitely recommend this place and hope to return soon.”

My mom had just received a diagnosis that gave her new dietary restrictions. I called and asked what things I could order given those restrictions and they found us a delicious lemon pie. To top it off, they even called back to double check if eggs were ok because we hadn’t discussed that possibility. I was touched by their efforts and encourage anyone who hasn’t popped by to give them a try!

If a place has good caldo pollo, carnitas, and tamale it's pretty certain everything else will be good. Also had a very good torta cubano. The extra spicy salsa (you have to request) was superb. Love the staff.”

“Years ago I fell in love with their mole’ poblano. The sauce was so dark and rich and thick but for the last 5 years or so it is not the same. Now it has some red mixed in and is more like enchilada sauce. I can get a jar of Dona Maria and make it better at home. Other aspects of this place are fine but just wish the mole’ was like it used to be.”

He was so knowledgeable about the food and how it was cooked, that I ,wondered if he had been standing elbow-to-elbow with the CHEF, who has my highest regards. Joe explained to us how all the seafood is FLOWN IN fresh. This speaks very highly both of Chris Mc D's and Joe, who knew and cared to share this information with us. I also, want to thank the kind manager, who took the time to track me down and let me know they had found a watch that I lost while visiting the restaurant. This was above and beyond. “Stayed with family for November and December 2022 in Columbia Missouri . Had never been to a First Watch restaurant . This breakfast and lunch restaurant became my new favorite restaurant. Everything I have ordered has been amazing from French toast ,waffles, omelettes , tacos ,sandwiches and salads . Very healthy and fresh food . Would eat at First Watch three times a week during my two month stay in Columbia Missouri. Always asked to seated in Melany's section . But all the wait staff was great !!! Took my 9 year old grandson for breakfast and he rated the restaurant a 10 . He had a waffle and sausage links and hot chocolate. I had the Italian sausage omelette with roasted potatoes. Food is always amazing . Great place to go by yourself with a friend or family . Highly recommended this place .”

Highly recommend the dumplings 🔥 We will be back! Would love to see a kids menu available with smaller portions for the littles when they come. That was the only downside, but we made it work for now. Can’t say that will work as they grow and choose to eat differently. Can’t wait to try other stuff on the menu!”
