Clarissa was our waitress and to be honest, one of the best waitresses I've ever had. She was attentive, quick, and exchanged playful banter with the table. If you can get more employees like her, you definitely should. I'll absolutely be back. 10 out of 10.”

We both had the Bento Teriyaki steak box and it was out of this world, super fresh vegetables the teriyaki was light and not over sweet but the item the blew our minds was the tender and savory filet mignon. If you like fresh Mexican food made homemade with all natural ingredients good serving sizes this is the place to go. If you like Burger times rolled tacos you have to go here they make them just like them actually a little bit better they're excellent and like I said so is everything else you must try it”

Although, I didn’t like the green one as I’m not a big fan of tomatillos but the “avocado” salsa (not sure if it’s made with avocado or not) was wonderful. I ordered 2 asada, 1 barbacoa and 1 tripitas tacos. I like that you can order a variety of tacos in the order. My husband loved his tripitas tacos too and he said the limonada was excellent. Service was excellent and our server was very polite. We really hope this local restaurant keeps going because it can potentially become one of our favorites. I want to go back to try the lengua tacos since they were all out today. Highly recommend it!!!! 👍🏽”

Great service and I had an awesome server. I thought the refried beans had an odd texture to it though. I was sitting in the bar area. I’ve never heard of a restaurant charging you $1 for a side of flour tortillas The dining area lights were a little harsh. Also, if you pay with a credit card you get charged a little bit more. I know I’m splitting hairs here. I would give it an 8.5.”

You can taste the care and quality in every bite. On top of the incredible food, the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. True homemade Italian food with a local twist. This place is a must-try, and I’ll definitely be back.”

“Picacho Coffee Roasters is one of those spots that immediately feels thoughtful and well put together without trying too hard.

The space is huge—couches, communal tables, and plenty of room to settle in whether you’re working, meeting up, or just hanging out. It genuinely functions as a co-working space, which is rare to see executed this well in a coffee shop. There’s a lot happening here in the best way: they sell records, infused coffee beans, merch, and even fresh sourdough loaves, giving the place a curated, community-driven vibe.

The music sealed the deal—hip-hop with strong Common / A Tribe Called Quest energy—setting a relaxed, soulful tone that makes you want to stay awhile.

Coffee-wise, I ordered the matcha with oat milk and it was smooth, balanced, and not overly sweet. Quality clearly matters here. Service was another standout: warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly without feeling forced.

They also have a bakery case with assorted items (note for fellow vegans: bakery items are not vegan), though the drink options themselves are still accommodating.

Overall, Picacho Coffee Roasters is a great spot for quality coffee, good music, and a space that actually invites you to linger. I’ll definitely be back.”

“Came upon this place unexpectedly as it was the only nonchain restaurant open in Las Cruces on NYE. Although they were out of many items on their menu due to higher than usual demand, the food we got was delicious, authentic and reasonably priced. While you have to stand in line to order, the people who worked there were very friendly and patient with newbies like us.”

I ordered the beef fajita plate and my husband ordered the brisket burrito smothered in red. It took our order 35 minutes to come out. We were in a larger party and people who arrived after us recieved their food so much quicker than us and when my husband went up to ask about it, they said the fajitas take longer. We finally got our food and I was disappointed. Not that much meat and barely any onions and no bell peppers, they use strips of green chile to mimic bell peppers. Beans were good. No rice. Lettuce and guacamole piled on one side of the plate. No tortilla. My husband said his brisket burrito was interesting because the meat was marinated in the BBQ sauce, but then put into a burrito with red chile smothered. Ground beef taco was good. Maybe we will go back and try different things on the menu. Prices were very affordable.”

“Located right next to Tesla Superchargers, we stopped here while charging our car. It’s a nice, spacious place with plenty of tables and counter seating, and orders are placed at the counter.
Unfortunately, the order taker/barista was not very knowledgeable about the menu and struggled to understand basic questions, without making much effort to clarify or help, which made ordering more frustrating than it should have been.
The breakfast burrito, however, was great—very tasty, and the added green chili purée was a unique and delicious touch, a nice change from typical salsa. The waffles were a bit disappointing. Despite being a major focus on the menu, they were served only with generic pancake syrup rather than real maple syrup, which would have made a big difference.
The coffee tasted burnt, and the menu on their website appears to be outdated.”
