“A gem of a restaurant. Our experience was full of surprises. We both had the Bento Teriyaki steak box and it was out of this world, super fresh vegetables the teriyaki was light and not over sweet but the item the blew our minds was the tender and savory filet mignon. Nana, our server was fantastic. She was gracious and professional. We will come back soon we highly recommend Sakura Japanese Steakhouse.”

“Very Disappointed – While the food was decent, the experience was ruined by overhearing staff refer to me as “it” and then say, “oh my god, it’s a grandma.” Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful each time we go. Management either participates or is oblivious.”

“The Huevos Rancheros and Chile Relleno were some of the best we’ve ever eaten! We enjoy traveling New Mexico for the unique style of flavors of Mexican food only found in this state! The red and green sauces were the authentic deep flavors and the salsa is zappy but flavorful. Our waitress, Leslie encouraged us to try the Calabacitas and tasty whole Borracho Beans? Both were beyond any we’ve eaten previously. Leslie gave us excellent service and was very friendly. The ambience is dated authentic adobe with bright colors and mural paintings. We highly recommend La Nuevo Casita Cafe!”

“We stopped here on our way out of Las Cruces heading home to Denver. Small, quaint, and so welcoming. The food was amazing. The breakfast enchiladas were so good. I had mine Christmas. The red chile had a nice spice and the green was so flavorful. The cinnamon pecan coffee was very good. Also, our server, Rachel was friendly, informative, and oh so nice. We definitely recommend this place. 5 stars.”

“Possibly one of the best chile rellenos I’ve ever had. The monster margarita was $13 and well worth it however, when I originally asked her how much it was, she quoted me $10. Great service and I had an awesome server. I thought the refried beans had an odd texture to it though. I was sitting in the bar area. I’ve never heard of a restaurant charging you $1 for a side of flour tortillas The dining area lights were a little harsh. Also, if you pay with a credit card you get charged a little bit more. I know I’m splitting hairs here. I would give it an 8.5.”

I decided to try Miguel‘s out and I’ve been coming here for the last 67 months due to the excellent service and great tasting food I would recommend this place. “First time trying Blake's Lotaburger. The name says it all, I got a burger and onion rings. A lota-burger came with that burger. I did not get the hatch Chile on it, although good, a bit too spicy for myself. Good flavor, well cooked. The staff were polite and professional, and had a nice atmosphere. If I had a bigger appetite I would tried the ice cream milk shakes. Not a bad place for a good, meal when you want to sit a while after a long drive.”

“My husband and I stumbled onto this place while we were staying in Las Crucas and we couldn't have stumbled on anything better!! The pizza was fantastic! They were able to accommodate my food allergy and still serve an exceptional pie. It wasn't just tasty, but the crust was amazingly crisp. Everything was fresh! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive! And the desserts were a great way to end our dinner! I would highly recommend this place.”

I ordered eggplant parmesan and my friend ordered shrimp scampi. The salad with never ending cheese and breadsticks were not delayed. Our entrees were steaming hot and served as we finished our salad. Can’t complain about a thing. I will return.”

The whole team was working hard and kept putting out those burgers. It took longer than usual but through out the customer complaints these guys remained as friendly as possible and very professional. Good to see them working as a team. “I love a reason to stop here on my way through town. They have always had the best espresso - roast it themselves. And the bagels!! The only real bagels in the region - they make them in house the right way / boiling and all. No one in the area (El Paso included) actually follows a real bagel recipe. Their pastries are great too. Would not mind if they freshened up the interior. Love this place forever.”

“The restaurant is located in a very nice hotel called the Encanto with spectacular views from the upper floors in all directions. In the restaurant there is both an inside and an outside area with the outside area covered and partially enclosed. The inside a spacious and the tables are well separated. It has a very nice bar that you can sit at. The service was outstanding and the food was just as good. My friend and I both enjoyed our meals very much. We will go back. I encourage you to consider this Restaurant the next time you are in Las Cruces or looking for a restaurant in town.”

It turns out they didn't have a tamales, so instead the money was to be refunded, but instead of refunding the entire amount, they kept the tip soda . almost 4 dollars. After checking it out she"gave" me the soda. that's inappropriate, and that's stealing. Because if you don't deliver service or products, you should return all the money that was charged. I'll never go there again.”

“I still can’t believe how much food and how good it was along with the low price point. I honestly think they have made a mistake but it was a win for me. I got the combo which comes with one taco, two enchiladas, one relleno and some chile con carne. First of all, it came in two full plates to go, with one container completely full with beans, rice and chile verde con carne. There was a huge amount of carne. And a taco laying on top of the rice. The second container had two big enchiladas and the relleno. Then there was the bag with the sopaipilla. And the bag with chips and three kinds of salsa. I really enjoyed the food and especially the chile con carne. The green chile on everything was a delicious sauce. For $14 this is two meals, maybe more if you aren’t a big eater. It also was really quick in line. I highly recommend.”

I had a drink that was just refilled and I figured that I would ask for a to go cup vs leaving it to be thrown out. When I asked for the to go cup, she said the only to go cups that they had were for those take out meals and that if I wanted a to go cup for my drink, it was going to be $4.00. Needless to say, I didn’t take it and left a full drink on the table when we left. I have never, been to a restaurant where they charge me for a to go cup. I can only guess that the majority of orders were being made for the drive-thru or catering. Overall, it was a good experience for a quick stop and fresh food.
