The Hatch green chile added the perfect New Mexico kick and blended beautifully with the sauce. The homemade meatballs were just as impressive—tender, flavorful, and clearly made from scratch. You can taste the care and quality in every bite. On top of the incredible food, the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. True homemade Italian food with a local twist. This place is a must-try, and I’ll definitely be back.”

P.S. Maybe not the nicest topic, but in New Mexico I have encountered restaurants that have filthy restrooms, which is a red flag. This restaurant had absolutely spotless restrooms. I could see they take great pride in every aspect of their service to their customers.”

“All their food is fresh no can junk all fresh stuff they're tortillas are freshly made they're corn tortillas and their tortilla chips all made fresh in the factory and restaurant there. If you like fresh Mexican food made homemade with all natural ingredients good serving sizes this is the place to go. If you like Burger times rolled tacos you have to go here they make them just like them actually a little bit better they're excellent and like I said so is everything else you must try it”

“What a great find! Super cute building, obviously they put a lot of thought into their aesthetic and overall design. There's plenty of outdoor seating and the misters are a great relief in this heat! If you want a sweet spot with plenty of photo op spots, this is the place for you. Bring your friends - definitely try the Desert Dust (still not sure what it is but glad I tried it) or the Ice Cap. My winning combination was a small Mango/Green Apple with Desert Dust :)”

Showed up for supper only to realize my error. But the waiter interceeded for me with kitchen staff and they made it for me.
WONDERFUL service to accommodate me like that!!!!
The brisket was outrageously good: I told them to start making it into jerky!
And their sweet tea with a touch of cinnamon was a new one on me and an instant favorite!

Food is great, people kind and accommodating, atmosphere is upbeat and comfortable. The portions were l large which provided lunch for us the next day! The only negative point I would make is that the bathroom door needs work. Great experience overall. Will recommend and return.”

“Visiting from out of town. Very interesting place and super friendly staff. It is a cafeteria type setup. You select your drink bottle in ice and then go to the counter to order and pick up your food. They offered samples of the turkey and both type of brisket when we said it was our first time. You pay by weight for the meat and can order any amount. The sides come in small, pint and quart sizes. Small is good for one person and pint is good for 2-3 persons.
The turkey was amazing. The moist brisket was a little fatty for me. I preferred the regular brisket.
Seating is at picnic tables or long folding tables. There is freezer paper to put out at your place setting.”

This Las Cruces location goes above and beyond what I’ve experienced at other locations. For example, today’s visit included the manager asking if he personally could make my GF lettuce wrap when I shared concerns about it having been too greasy at other locations. Then the whole team made sure my GF stuff was prepared safely and also packaged/bagged separately. I want to extend a special thank you to the Cruces team for their excellent service.”

Here's what I wrote previously:

This new location started out fantastic and there are friendly employees here, but they're now consistently cutting corners. I always order the Old World Fanceroni Pepperoni pizza, but the last few times it has contained sparse amounts of pepperoni (less than 50 pieces, when it's advertised to contain at least 100) and they're using the cheaper, basic crust instead of the crispy, carmelized crust as advertised which was what they used when this location first opened. This has been happening every time I order this lately, which tells me this isn't just a one-time mistake; it's likely a choice by management to not give customers the pizza they're paying extra for. Customers notice this. This is unacceptable, and I won't be back until management responds to confirm this has been addressed.”

I went with the carne asada burrito and not gonna lie, this thing was delicious! The meat had real flavor, everything tasted fresh, the taste was super flavorful — every bite actually hit.
I even added a couple custom requests and they still came through, which I respect. Guacamole was was added since the delicious beans had ran out 🤤 and it was heaven! 🔥
I ended up finishing the whole thing without even thinking about it… so freakin' good🤤 that should tell you enough right there 😂

What really made this experience was our waitress Kiki. From the jump, Kiki was professional and extremely hospitable. She was knowledgeable about the menu and even recommended an amazing Old Fashioned for me to drink. Next to Kiki was the bartender, Sky. Sky did an awesome job making the perfect drink and was even able to whip up a refreshing cucumber jalapeno drink when I wanted something light and refreshing. Between the service and atmosphere I would return!”

“This is a gem hidden in the NMSU Corbet Center. There generally little to moderate student activity making the location spacious and comfortable.
The staff have always been friendly and efficient. I tend to get the Vegout on one of many bagel flavors.
You might also like an iced mocha with whipped cream. Even the small is enough to have some to take home.
Some may take this as offensive but there are ways to eat here while watching calories. So sad to see people eating themselves to death.
Pay parking is available but I usually park in the nearby neighborhood and walk the three blocks to campus.
The hours listed are wrong for summer. They open at 8 instead of the listed 7.”

We had the shredded beef torta and a combo plate with the steak, chile relleno, and enchilada. The torta was amazing. The grilled onions on it really boosted the flavor profile. The fries were hot and crisp but nothing special. The steak was chewy but seasoned well. The chile relleno was soggy and lacked anything of note. The enchiladas was cheese and though basic, really hit the spot. Beans and rice were standard fare, but is exactly how you want it to taste. The guacamole it came with had cilantro, onion and tomato in it and was very enjoyable after salting to my taste. All in all, the food is not outstanding but is good overall. The atmosphere is basic, but inviting if a bit dated, but the service is where this place truly shines. One waitress and she handled every customer quickly and efficiently while being friendly but not overbearing. She would check on you without making it feel like you were being rushed or a bother. I am definitely coming back here for the service alone.
