The Hatch green chile added the perfect New Mexico kick and blended beautifully with the sauce. The homemade meatballs were just as impressive—tender, flavorful, and clearly made from scratch. You can taste the care and quality in every bite. On top of the incredible food, the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I ordered 2 asada, 1 barbacoa and 1 tripitas tacos. I like that you can order a variety of tacos in the order. My husband loved his tripitas tacos too and he said the limonada was excellent. Service was excellent and our server was very polite. We really hope this local restaurant keeps going because it can potentially become one of our favorites. I want to go back to try the lengua tacos since they were all out today. Highly recommend it!!!! 👍🏽”

If you like fresh Mexican food made homemade with all natural ingredients good serving sizes this is the place to go. If you like Burger times rolled tacos you have to go here they make them just like them actually a little bit better they're excellent and like I said so is everything else you must try it”

She knew that menu completely; she could tell us every little detail. My husband had the branzino. He did not want it blackened and Shannon made sure it wasn’t. The risotto was the perfect texture. “The salsa is very watery and tastes more of tomatoes than any kind of spice, but if you eat enough of it the spice does build. We had the shredded beef torta and a combo plate with the steak, chile relleno, and enchilada. The torta was amazing. The grilled onions on it really boosted the flavor profile. The fries were hot and crisp but nothing special. The steak was chewy but seasoned well. The chile relleno was soggy and lacked anything of note. The enchiladas was cheese and though basic, really hit the spot. Beans and rice were standard fare, but is exactly how you want it to taste. The guacamole it came with had cilantro, onion and tomato in it and was very enjoyable after salting to my taste. All in all, the food is not outstanding but is good overall. The atmosphere is basic, but inviting if a bit dated, but the service is where this place truly shines. One waitress and she handled every customer quickly and efficiently while being friendly but not overbearing. She would check on you without making it feel like you were being rushed or a bother. I am definitely coming back here for the service alone.
I’m looking forward to trying out the menudo a close by table was praising quite loudly and maybe some of their seafood dishes as well.”

Original Post: I ordered an Avocado Veg Out with Salmon, and they gave me a Turkey, Bacon, Avocado and added the Salmon to it! They also charged me $2 bucks extra for the Salmon, yet it's the wrong order, so I'm grumpy.

I've recently become vegetarian so this was pretty annoying. I work on campus, so I didn't find out until I was back at my desk. I'm not walking all the way back to make a fuss, anyway they close at 1pm.

The coffee is always tasty and the people working are always nice. But this is the second time they've messed up an order for me.

I ordered the beef fajita plate and my husband ordered the brisket burrito smothered in red. It took our order 35 minutes to come out. We were in a larger party and people who arrived after us recieved their food so much quicker than us and when my husband went up to ask about it, they said the fajitas take longer. We finally got our food and I was disappointed. Not that much meat and barely any onions and no bell peppers, they use strips of green chile to mimic bell peppers. Beans were good. No rice. Lettuce and guacamole piled on one side of the plate. No tortilla. My husband said his brisket burrito was interesting because the meat was marinated in the BBQ sauce, but then put into a burrito with red chile smothered. Ground beef taco was good. Maybe we will go back and try different things on the menu. Prices were very affordable.”

I decided to give Milagros a try after a long hiatus thanks to a date who invited me and swore by their coffee. I was happy to find they kept the same funky decor that feels like you've stepped back into the early 2000s, and the nice roaster was a great addition--the flavor of the espresso is so fresh and rich and actually fairly priced; great news for the nearby students (I remember the struggle). As for their food selection, they have lots to choose from, which staff claims to be freshly made and home made. My only feedback would be to please stock up on the burritos! They sell out too fast! Kudos to management and the team on the improvements.

Original review 2014: Here's what it comes down to for me: The coffee is pretty good, although a bit overpriced on many drinks; the staff is very slow, rude and very unprofessional (every encounter I've had, particularly with one mentioned in another review on here, had been an awful one); finally, the store hours are completely wrong. I've called or stopped by at 9pm (when 10pm is closing time) and everything was shut down!

This place has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, due to a lack of management, quality service and conducting business in a professional manner, this customer is not only unimpressed but moreover very disappointed. “Located right next to Tesla Superchargers, we stopped here while charging our car. It’s a nice, spacious place with plenty of tables and counter seating, and orders are placed at the counter.
Unfortunately, the order taker/barista was not very knowledgeable about the menu and struggled to understand basic questions, without making much effort to clarify or help, which made ordering more frustrating than it should have been.
The breakfast burrito, however, was great—very tasty, and the added green chili purée was a unique and delicious touch, a nice change from typical salsa. The waffles were a bit disappointing. Despite being a major focus on the menu, they were served only with generic pancake syrup rather than real maple syrup, which would have made a big difference.
The coffee tasted burnt, and the menu on their website appears to be outdated.”
