Currently you have to pre-order a day in advance for pickup so it takes a little planning but so worth it.Their fried chicken is so crispy. I ordered it with waffle fries and they say they only fire up the fries just before your pickup time so that they're fresh. When I went to pick up my order, they let me know it would just be a few minutes because the fries were finishing and when he came out with my order, he said he accidentally made the salad but included both the fries and salad and threw in a vanilla pudding. Everything was so delicious. Even the bonus pudding had flecks of vanilla bean and tasted so much better than the instant stuff. The chicken and fries were enough for 2 meals.”

I understand the QR code ordering can still be a shock to some, but I can say it has improved since the first time we've used it a few years back. It's fast, clear and I find it more convenient as I can always add to the order at anytime.

We were a party of 4 with one who only eats veggies. We ordered a split pot, premium beef combo, the big veggie combo, lotus, noodles, and fried tofu. The choices of broth are plenty. The mild, to me, is a bit spicier than usual so if you're not used to it, I suggest the normal broth and just add a little hot oil to your liking. That was perfect to start our table off. We added a couple of items later, but that was a good portion for 4 people. Lots of ingredients and broth choices. If you like more customization to your hot pot rather than an all you can eat business model, this place may be a better choice and in some cases, a better value.

After having been there more than a handful of times, I can safely say that I've never had a bad experience there. Always a great date night for me and my partner. With businesses coming and going in today's climate, I'm always happy to see this little corner spot in the mall still serving.

Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options ala carte! My partner is vegetarian. The problem with all you can eat business model is that she can't eat most of the stuff yet paying a premium price. This place offers ala carte so we can do a split pot. She orders the veggies for her side and i can eat the meats on my side. Works out for the both of us!”

The tacos de asada are a can't-go-wrong classic and I appreciate the mix of carrots, radishes, onions and peppers that complement each dish. Fully eat the quesadillas while they are warm; don't save to reheat this selection, as it's cheese is much better freshly cooked. The quesabirrias hit the spot for me, too! I like the horchata the best of the aguafrescas that are all refreshing and not overly sweet. I like the doradito light-browning of some of the food selections, and the salsas are very tasty - I like the green sauce the best.
The staff members are keen to make the food as you like it and aim to get your meals to you with efficiency and a smile. They care!
Many people return here from what I've witnessed. The corner can be a bit windy on the straightaway from Civic Center to the West, but on a sunny day it can be great to borrow part of the bench and table to eat by the tropically-colored and decorated food truck. Some people choose to carefully dine in their cars for warmth, too, somewhat like a drive-up diner.

“A little old taqueria but the food is delicious well I had the small birria and the meat serving was more than enough. Hubby had quesabirrias that are made with handmade tortillas and consome. They were also 10/10.”

“I'll have to say that there's nothing special about this food truck, still good don't get me wrong but nothing stands out amongst the food items, the service quick but it was just me, no line and the location of the truck is to hidden with not enough signs to show. A bit pricey for the portion of meat on the burrito.

Parking: It's a small parking lot but since there aren't a lot of customers It's easy to get a parking spot and the food truck is right there inside the parking lot.

Wheelchair accessibility: Sufficient space for wheelchairs!”

“Found this place by accident. Everyone here, both employees and park visitors alike, is friendly towards both humans and dogs. The club was quite delicious, and Copper just gave compliments (a la belch) to the chef of his hot dog! And the view is quite picturesque.”

After choosing a drink you can choose your sugar and ice levels. I love being able to do this! They offer teas, slushes and yakult. The flavor was good. My only problem is that it took forever to make. It wasn’t even that busy. 😔”

“JJ’s Fish & Chicken It’s the fish for me, so fresh hot and good everything else was trash. Everyone can’t cook NOL style, the gumbo, the red beans, the jambalaya the macaroni salad and the chicken 🐓 was straight trash. Chicken still had long hairs all over the wings. That’s all 😡😡😡🤣😂 The pictures hanging with the food on them make you think the food is so good. I only recommend the cat fish. This one is located on International Blvd bka East 14th Street Oakland California.”
