My mushroom pasta was al dente with a cream sauce that was rich but not too heavy. Our son’s tagliatelle was delicious. Ending the meal with homemade tiramisu cutely adorned with the name of the restaurant. Pics do not do it justice because they have a romantic dimly lit vibe. Highly recommend reservations. When I called to adjust mine due to flight delay they were kindly accommodating. Nice outdoor patio and bar.”

I've always taught my kids to tip well and to tip the chefs if the food is above the normal expectations. Therefore, we gave him a well deserved tip and come to find out he is a new chef here. So, I must give credit where credit is due! Thank You!”

“I'm very serious about my boba tea places, and when I say this is the best place around Athens, I do mean it!! The small menu always means that the drinks hit exactly where I want them too and doesn't make me feel overwhelmed when ordering. In addition, the flavors are very fragrant and well chosen. Many of the drinks at this place can rival well known also high quality chains that I also enjoy (presotea, mogetea, this last one isnt so much my preference but does crush it which is molly tea). The seasonal tasting menu is also a great choice every single season and I love how they also keep that selection small as well.”

Southern through and through. There is not a thing on the menu I wouldn't bring home for dinner or just can't wait and order in. We ordered Christmas dinner from the Preacher and everyone said AMEN! The fried chicken is mouthwatering juicy good. The Pot Roast is just like your grandmother cooked it for hours. The Collard Greens, sweet potatoes, black eyed peas are scrumptious. Just go there. Lucky Midwest me, living in New York City and acquiring this, boyfriend,(First generation). Food was amazing at his home. They’ve since passed many years ago And neither of us have had a good Eastern European dish since. So I will say no more than this, if you miss out on this opportunity to have a fantastic environment and dinner here you will regret it without ever knowing. The schnitzel is amazing. The pierogies., If you can get them, the salad is utterly delectable and delightful beyond reason with a dill creamy dressing, Oh my God! The staff is amazing and I can’t give this place more than five stars, but I would. Prost.”

The meats are always very well seasoned and delicious. I always love a good kbbq with plenty of choices for side dishes and this place is it!! They come with a salad, tons of kimchi, rice and the fish cakes are amazing!! My favorite part tho is the cheese corn.
Their alcoholic drinks are also delicious and I personally love their Soju drinks.”

Very impressive interior and atmosphere, very pleasant professional staff, and incredible food, cocktails, and desserts. We had zero negatives. The desserts were not just unique, but light and fluffy. you NEED they're chocolate cake, which is amazingly light. the cheesecake? light and fluffy like chiffon. Cannot recommend enough !”

I made a reservation with the intention of it just being my family and no other parties. I was very upset that as we were waiting for the rest of our party they sat someone at our table. Yumi could tell I was upset and in a matter of 3 minutes she moved us to another table for our family. We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday and wanted it to just be family.
Yumi was fantastic in making sure we were satisfied and our family was comfortable.
Daniel the Chef was amazing and put on an the best show!
Only thing that could have been better was the frequency of our drinks being refilled. They weren’t extremely busy so this attention could have been bettered and that was on the server.

“My wife and I always enjoy eating at the Hilltop Grille when we are in Athens. The cream brûlée is amazing. On our visit to Athens on 2/13/2026, around 11:30 AM, I had the grilled salmon. It was delicious. My wife shared a little of her coleslaw with me. I later experienced mild indigestion. The only other thing I ate all day was some freshly homemade brownies my sweet neighbor brought over. The following morning around 7 AM, I awoke with an extreme urgency to go to the bathroom. I almost didn’t make it. I had a one and done case of severe diarrhea. I am submitting this review just to see if anyone else experienced the same issue after eating after eating there that day.”

I arrived 50 minutes later, paid and waited about 10 minutes for the server to return to the bar with our order. I could tell the pizza box was not warm but when it was handed to me. “My wife and I always enjoy eating at the Hilltop Grille when we are in Athens. The cream brûlée is amazing. On our visit to Athens on 2/13/2026, around 11:30 AM, I had the grilled salmon. It was delicious. My wife shared a little of her coleslaw with me. I later experienced mild indigestion. The only other thing I ate all day was some freshly homemade brownies my sweet neighbor brought over. The following morning around 7 AM, I awoke with an extreme urgency to go to the bathroom. I almost didn’t make it. I had a one and done case of severe diarrhea. I am submitting this review just to see if anyone else experienced the same issue after eating after eating there that day.”

“My favourite out of a bucket full of great restaurants in Athens. It's a counter top order but someone delivers your meal in quick time and hot. But the food is why you come here. Southern through and through. There is not a thing on the menu I wouldn't bring home for dinner or just can't wait and order in. We ordered Christmas dinner from the Preacher and everyone said AMEN! The fried chicken is mouthwatering juicy good. The Pot Roast is just like your grandmother cooked it for hours. The Collard Greens, sweet potatoes, black eyed peas are scrumptious. Just go there. It's terrific.”

“I've been to Tiger Sushi Athens multiple times now & the food's always BOMB ! The sushi selections are always fresh and you can tell it's authentic because the crowd always includes diners from the local Asian community, which is always a great sign. They have an "A" for their food score which is HIGHLY important to me and the staff are always attentive. Best time to go is in the during the week to avoid crowds! Happy, return trip customer !”

“Placed a To Go order because my husband was working across the street and had smelled it for hours after I hyped it up. He was all for the order and we live almost 2 hours away. I haven’t been to this Rafferty’s in 10+ years. My husband has never had it. I got the regular burger and my husband had the bbq burger and we also ordered fried mushrooms. Flavor is unmatched, quality was top tier and the way everything was packaged looked as if it took time, not just thrown together quickly. Even after an almost 2 hour drive, it was all still perfect! It reminded me of when I was younger and my grandparents took me to this same location often and I always got the burger. The staff then knew my grandparents by name and if I remember correctly, always remembered their orders. The burgers are the best we’ve ever had, hopefully another chance arises for more Rafferty’s in our future. Thank you for always being delicious and consistent.”

The small menu always means that the drinks hit exactly where I want them too and doesn't make me feel overwhelmed when ordering. In addition, the flavors are very fragrant and well chosen. Many of the drinks at this place can rival well known also high quality chains that I also enjoy (presotea, mogetea, this last one isnt so much my preference but does crush it which is molly tea). The seasonal tasting menu is also a great choice every single season and I love how they also keep that selection small as well.”
