Southern through and through. There is not a thing on the menu I wouldn't bring home for dinner or just can't wait and order in. We ordered Christmas dinner from the Preacher and everyone said AMEN! The fried chicken is mouthwatering juicy good. The Pot Roast is just like your grandmother cooked it for hours. The Collard Greens, sweet potatoes, black eyed peas are scrumptious. Just go there. It's terrific.”

“My wife and I always enjoy eating at the Hilltop Grille when we are in Athens. The cream brûlée is amazing. On our visit to Athens on 2/13/2026, around 11:30 AM, I had the grilled salmon. It was delicious. My wife shared a little of her coleslaw with me. I later experienced mild indigestion. The only other thing I ate all day was some freshly homemade brownies my sweet neighbor brought over. The following morning around 7 AM, I awoke with an extreme urgency to go to the bathroom. I almost didn’t make it. I had a one and done case of severe diarrhea. I am submitting this review just to see if anyone else experienced the same issue after eating after eating there that day.”

“I just want to share this with everyone who eats at this place. Yesterday me and My wife ordered our normal chicken tacos like we always get on Tuesday's. I noticed the salsa had a slightly different taste to it. So later that night I woke up around 3 am with chills sweating profusely all over. I've literally been sick all day from this food poisoning. My wife didnt eat no salsa and she was fine. I love this place and I've never had an issue until last night. So take it for what it's worth and be careful is all I can say.”

The sushi selections are always fresh and you can tell it's authentic because the crowd always includes diners from the local Asian community, which is always a great sign. They have an "A" for their food score which is HIGHLY important to me and the staff are always attentive. Best time to go is in the during the week to avoid crowds! Happy, return trip customer !”

My wife had the platter with garlic naan, chicken 65, chicken Tikka masala, slaw, pickled radishes, and potato samosa on saffron rice with vindaloo sauce, tamarind chutney, and mango chutney on the side. She also got the chai. I had a platter with biryani rice, bullet naan, samosa, desi chicken curry, and dal tadka with pickled radishes, cilantro chutney, mango chutney, and vindaloo sauce on the side with a mango lassi to drink. We paid about 46 dollars with tip and definitely each had two meals out of our servings. This is our new favorite Indian spot in Athens for sure ♥️”

“I have never heard of this place, but I saw it while i was at the red light, looking for anyplace with breakfast still being served at 1040a. Quickly pulled up the menu glanced, saw food and pulled straight in.
Not a location easy to get in and out of, but absolutely worth the minor battle with traffic getting back out of there.
I got the ham, egg and Swiss croissant, a donut and their fizzy energy drink in mango peach I believe. *No basic sodas, the guy in the speaker said they have Italian sodas. Its sparkling water with a flavored syrup. I was skeptical but open to trying..they are really yummy!! And it gives a boost of energy.
My croissant was piping hot (may have had a little lip burn bc I was impatient to feed my face) and so amazing!! The croissant was firm. Not hard or soggy!! It was perfect!! I wish I had read the menu more thoroughly before ordering bc i think I would have enjoyed a bagel just as well...but it gives me a good reason to come back another day.
I have never heard of this place before today and I am so glad to have made the discovery. Yall nailed it!!”
