“I absolutely love Ahi and have gone for years, but they went above and beyond this Sunday. I took a group of kids to eat at Ahi (over 20 people) and we were served quickly and kindly. They took our group with stride, which was very impressive. I would recommend them for their food regardless, but the kind and consistent service is commendable as well.”

My favorite is the VIP pizza, but sometimes they add too much chilli. The crust is so good. The angel pizza and ceasar salad are also good. The desserts are just okay. I did not know they had brunch before, but I would love to try it!”

“Royal Peasant is located near Five Points, south of UGA. There is street parking in the area or you can park at the Fire Station for two hours.
This is a good English pub. They have done a great job of decorating the inside, giving it that genuine feel. And the server was attentive and answered questions well. The food dragged it down in my rating. My daughter had the lamb vindaloo, which came with very little lamb but lots of rice and sauce. I had the Bangers and Mash, which was presented very well but the bangers weren’t top notch. It may have been the turmeric in the cabbage, now that I think about it. My wife had the Royale with Cheese, which was cooked correctly and tasted like… a burger. So it goes.
I will say that the Korean BBQ pork belly starter was great! I highly recommend it.
All that aside- for Athens, this is probably the best English Pub experience you will get! I may return in the future to give it a second try.
One thing I noticed: the outside was heavily populated by students, while the inside was populated by non-student (adult) locals. And the inside people hung out rather than eat and run. That says something!”

Well, tonight we went to "TheChop House", to celebrate our anniversary, and my food was PERFECT! I've always taught my kids to tip well and to tip the chefs if the food is above the normal expectations. Therefore, we gave him a well deserved tip and come to find out he is a new chef here. So, I must give credit where credit is due! Thank You!”

“My favourite out of a bucket full of great restaurants in Athens. It's a counter top order but someone delivers your meal in quick time and hot. But the food is why you come here. Southern through and through. There is not a thing on the menu I wouldn't bring home for dinner or just can't wait and order in. We ordered Christmas dinner from the Preacher and everyone said AMEN! The fried chicken is mouthwatering juicy good. The Pot Roast is just like your grandmother cooked it for hours. The Collard Greens, sweet potatoes, black eyed peas are scrumptious. Just go there. It's terrific.”

The only other thing I ate all day was some freshly homemade brownies my sweet neighbor brought over. The following morning around 7 AM, I awoke with an extreme urgency to go to the bathroom. I almost didn’t make it. I had a one and done case of severe diarrhea. I am submitting this review just to see if anyone else experienced the same issue after eating after eating there that day.”

The sushi selections are always fresh and you can tell it's authentic because the crowd always includes diners from the local Asian community, which is always a great sign. “It was delicious. A coworker of mine brought me there and it was just a great experience through and through. The food was great it is a cook it your self kind of place with many side dishes and rice supplied. We got the all you can eat minus shrimp. We ended up ordering the pork belly, pork neck, bulgugi, garlic chicken. We ended up getting more pork neck and pork belly than anything else. The grill also had a Korean street corn and egg cooking around it. They had refreshing grape soju and their complementary water was crisp and tasteless. Its a little pricey but worth it! Can't wait to go back again.”

“My favourite out of a bucket full of great restaurants in Athens. It's a counter top order but someone delivers your meal in quick time and hot. But the food is why you come here. Southern through and through. There is not a thing on the menu I wouldn't bring home for dinner or just can't wait and order in. We ordered Christmas dinner from the Preacher and everyone said AMEN! The fried chicken is mouthwatering juicy good. The Pot Roast is just like your grandmother cooked it for hours. The Collard Greens, sweet potatoes, black eyed peas are scrumptious. Just go there. It's terrific.”

“I've been to Tiger Sushi Athens multiple times now & the food's always BOMB ! The sushi selections are always fresh and you can tell it's authentic because the crowd always includes diners from the local Asian community, which is always a great sign. They have an "A" for their food score which is HIGHLY important to me and the staff are always attentive. Best time to go is in the during the week to avoid crowds! Happy, return trip customer !”
