“Lingo was the perfect choice for a special celebration. I brought my daughter here and the night was great. It’s a beautiful space, genuinely warm and personable staff, and excellent Japanese-inflected food with a creative twist.

We did have one miss: the ribs were too fatty for our taste. But here's where Lingo service stepped in. Without any fuss, they took the dish off the bill and were so gracious about it. That kind of hospitality is rare and says a lot about how they run their restaurant.

Everything else was delicious and the vibe was just right for a celebratory dinner. I'll absolutely be back.“

“We visited 6 Restaurant this week and couldn't be happier with our experience! The atmosphere is warm, and cozy, a perfect spot for any meal.

We chose the 5-course tasting menu with the wine pairing and thought it was an excellent value for the amount and quality of food and drink. Every course was delicious, but our favorites were the Lobster Ravioli, Atlantic Cod, Pork Schnitzel, and Scallops.

We'll definitely be back to try the Maitake and Lamb dishes next time. Highly recommend!“

“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!“

“Came here for brunch. I got the BLT and my friend got the Turkish Eggs, and we shared a green salad. I also ordered a Hugo Spritz to drink.

The decor is beautiful and the food is good. The service was fine. My drink was way too flat. I could tell the champagne in it was old. My other issue is with the prices. I paid $25 for a BLT and it came with nothing (I had to order fries separately). I guess the area is kind of expensive but I still think $25 for a plain sandwich is unnecessary (and you can see how small the sandwich is).“

“Want to make your pallet dance? Of course you do! Boutros is the place to go from their tantalizing cocktails to their original baba ghanoush and falafel you’ll be simply amazed. Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. Allen, who is the chef and owner and named this quaint little place after his dad will delight you with his specialties my Sister and I had the mushroom hummus. “Fantastic value for a solid 9 course tasting menu with an amuse bouche and a petit four. Some highs and lows with an emphasis on asian flavors but it was an enjoyable hour and a half. I really loved the braised duck lettuce wraps and maple bacon donuts but i found the wagyu meatball dish too salty.“

“Tried Confidant after saying we should go for months. It was okay.

Drink menu is fine. Nothing to write home about. Lots of gin and tequila drinks. Decent wine selection. If you’re a whiskey lover, maybe order wine.

Food was good. I’m a vegetarian but my partner eats meat and we both love food. We got the cod and gemelli. Both were very good. The sauce with the cod was fantastic. The pot pie looked and smelled fantastic but we didn’t get one. We ordered the sunchokes because we saw the reviews and… were not that impressed.

Our service was not good. Service in general seemed good (hosts were great, some servers were chatting with tables). Our server was short with us, forgot to put in our order, and he then lied to us about it. It took us 50 minutes to get bread and butter (folks around us seated 15 minutes after us got appetizers before us) and about an hour and 15 minutes to get entrees. I mentioned I was vegetarian and he kept suggesting foods that had meat too.

The inside is super cozy. The decor and brick walls are great. The bar is great and the chef’s table is wonderful and the cooks were super diligent and focused. I’d trust the food 100% coming off of their grills/stove.

Not a ton of vegetarian options. Lots of sleeper items with not clear non-veg ingredients. Be aware.

“Came for dinner last night. Food was amazing!! As were the cocktails. We had the Caesar salad, fried eggplants, pork shoulder, and swordfish. I’ve never had a pork shoulder like the one I had last night. Best one I’ve eaten by far.“

“Super unique and delicious maple praline brown butter pancakes! More cake than pancake. The wait was not long to get a table and the service was prompt, professional, courteous, and didn’t leave us in want of anything. All of our needs were met. Food was prepared much quicker than expected and was all very good! I would definitely recommend this!“

“I went here on the last day of a week long trip to New York, I ate in many places during my time but this restaurant was by far my favourite.

The intimate counter seating allows you to get really close to the chef and the other staff while they cook so you can really see the artistry. They were also very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had while also being really engaging during the whole tasting menu.

The food itself is top quality, high grade ingredients prepared to a very high standard. Up there with one of the best tasting menus I’ve experienced.

The area around the restaurant is also very beautiful, with a riverside view of the city skyline within a few minutes walk.

“Five Leaves is a great cafe, we were after a solid brunch spot and it hit the spot perfectly. We ordered full breakfasts and the food was fantastic, the coffee was great too.

We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. My only regret of the night was not having enough stomachs to enjoy more of what Madre could serve up. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Madre!“

It started with a flower that exploded our taste buds through all the variety of sea creatures and sea plants prepared various ways to a light but scrumptious bread pudding and ice cream made with 3 waters. All the dishes were presented like works of art accompanied in artistic dishes. It was most definitely a wild to table experience. Highly recommend. (only allowed 10 photos. “Finally had the opportunity to come to this place. I would like to start off with the service. When we arrived it was packed which we were not surprised. The lady at the front was very friendly. But our server not so much, i get people have off days but we did not feel welcomed. We ordered ceviche, white rice and beans & the chicharron de pollo. As someone that loves ceviche this was not the greatest ceviche i have ever had. The apples and celery threw me off but the reason why it was not great is because the juice had that seafood tate rather than the lime zesty taste. The rice and beans were amazing!! Perfect texture and taste. The chicharron de pollo is the best chicharron i have ever had. My husband and I literally locked eyes on the first bite. It was juicy and had the perfect crunch and taste. “this would be a great restaurant outside of nyc but after eating here makes sense why it was almost empty at 7:30 on a friday night. first, for some reason the AC was off on a summer night, it was so hot! at one point our server kind of went AWOL for like ten minutes after we said we needed a second to decide but i guess it happens and we were able to get someone else’s attention. A few notes on the food: the fluke crudo has a great sauce but you must slice the fish, you cannot just serve a raw filet of fish. the sauce doesn’t get to it and it is hard to slice raw fish while eating. cut the fish! the chicken entree was good but it was overcooked which shouldn’t be an issue with heavily breaded chicken. the poached hake was not cooked enough. the sticky rice dessert was really just rice pudding but was outstanding and the drink selection was very good.“

Went with 2 of my girlfriends. Great cool AC on 100+ degree temperature. Enjoyed watching football. Waiters and security were pleasant. Felt really cared for and check ins if we were okay was not excessive. Might need additional bartenders because a lot of people were present especially on the 4th of July weekend and one lady bartender was running to the other side to get drinks/ beer for customers. All in all would definitely go back. Thank you guys for a great 1st time customer experience 👍“

“I love dilly dally!!! The name really embodies the experience: you don't want to leave. I have been many times, and the food is always high quality and delicious. The aesthetic and the staff make you feel at home there. I recently spent many hours there working during the day. There was wifi and many outlets available. I got the breakfast burrito, which was incredible, and sustained me to do hours of work. If you haven't been, you are missing out!“

“I visited Cross Roads Bk today and loved it. The waiter was really nice and worked efficiently even though he was the only server on the floor. The restaurant was really clean and vibrant. The food didn’t take long and it was good. My favorite dish was the paradise peach cake and ice cream! Super good! The mango habanero wings and island shrimp were also really good. I would def rate the food, service and aesthetic 10/10.“

“As someone with ARFID, I have a very hard time eating really tasty foods (what most people would consider good).

Ren was the first time in my life I was able to eat tasty food, and enjoy it!

I told my partner it’s the first time I can say I like the food, and I know he liked it too!

“This neighborhood staple is right down the street from me. When they first opened, we went frequently but I must admit after Covid I hadn't been. Recently I have decided it's my go to place first because their fish and chips is outstanding and now I'm branching out to other items on the menu. The menu has changed quite a bit since the old days but the food is very satisfying. I don't wanna call it comfort food but for me it really is. My only complaint is that they don't have malt vinegar for the fish and chips.“
