“Lingo was the perfect choice for a special celebration. I brought my daughter here and the night was great. It’s a beautiful space, genuinely warm and personable staff, and excellent Japanese-inflected food with a creative twist.

We did have one miss: the ribs were too fatty for our taste. But here's where Lingo service stepped in. Without any fuss, they took the dish off the bill and were so gracious about it. That kind of hospitality is rare and says a lot about how they run their restaurant.

Everything else was delicious and the vibe was just right for a celebratory dinner. I'll absolutely be back.“

“We visited 6 Restaurant this week and couldn't be happier with our experience! The atmosphere is warm, and cozy, a perfect spot for any meal.

We chose the 5-course tasting menu with the wine pairing and thought it was an excellent value for the amount and quality of food and drink. Every course was delicious, but our favorites were the Lobster Ravioli, Atlantic Cod, Pork Schnitzel, and Scallops.

We'll definitely be back to try the Maitake and Lamb dishes next time. Highly recommend!“

“Delicious food and cocktails“

“Came here for brunch. I got the BLT and my friend got the Turkish Eggs, and we shared a green salad. I also ordered a Hugo Spritz to drink.

The decor is beautiful and the food is good. The service was fine. My drink was way too flat. I could tell the champagne in it was old. My other issue is with the prices. I paid $25 for a BLT and it came with nothing (I had to order fries separately). I guess the area is kind of expensive but I still think $25 for a plain sandwich is unnecessary (and you can see how small the sandwich is).“

“We had a great time. Food was excellent. Came out pretty fast. Good drinks. Our waiter was really cool and we felt cared for but he gave us the perfect amount of space. The place has a cool vibe, nice people. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Was a little loud but we could still converse easily. We loved it. Will be back again!“

“Want to make your pallet dance? Of course you do! Boutros is the place to go from their tantalizing cocktails to their original baba ghanoush and falafel you’ll be simply amazed. Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. Allen, who is the chef and owner and named this quaint little place after his dad will delight you with his specialties my Sister and I had the mushroom hummus. “Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! We all had the tasting menu and there was NOT ONE MISS on any of the dishes. 9 courses, two desserts to share and a little extra amuse of delicious gazpacho to start. “5 stars are not enough to tell you how good this place is. We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. My only regret of the night was not having enough stomachs to enjoy more of what Madre could serve up. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Madre!“

“I don’t know why this place is so slept on for dinner. Had our last minute anniversary dinner here and it blew us away. Food was balanced, fresh, rich. Spectacular. Falafel! Steak! Grilled beans!

“Very nice location and layout is very welcoming with a lot of outdoor and indoor seating. Quick and friendly staff.

The ricotta starter was amazing with a great balance of flavors.
The Pancakes were beautiful but very dense so didn’t hit the mark for me with the wet gooey texture and large size.
Hash browns were great“

“My new favorite restaurant in the city. The ambiance is perfect - energetic, while still being able to hear the person across from you, the service is excellent, and the food is the best meal I've had at a restaurant in a long time. It was impossible to choose between the specials and the classics, but everything we ordered was perfect. My one and only complaint is that I selfishly wish it was in Brooklyn Heights so I could pop in for a drink more often!“

“We celebrated our daughters birthday last night. The restaurant was outstanding the revolving menu featured Fillipino and it was seasoned flawlessly. It small in the middle there was a large communal table with individual tables on the side. Place is nicely decorated has a warm feel. The service was was both personable and efficient. “What an amazing dinner we were participating in. It started with a flower that exploded our taste buds through all the variety of sea creatures and sea plants prepared various ways to a light but scrumptious bread pudding and ice cream made with 3 waters. All the dishes were presented like works of art accompanied in artistic dishes. It was most definitely a wild to table experience. Highly recommend. (only allowed 10 photos. There was a total 13 servings of food and 2 drinks)“

“We stopped in for a quick drink and an app. I would have been fine at the bar, but they were gracious enough to give us a table…I did reiterate that we weren’t eating a full dinner and didn’t want to take a whole table up. Staff is one of the most friendly I’ve encountered in NYC, like genuinely friendly. Drinks are bussin’, so are the apps. Def will return.“

“this would be a great restaurant outside of nyc but after eating here makes sense why it was almost empty at 7:30 on a friday night. first, for some reason the AC was off on a summer night, it was so hot! at one point our server kind of went AWOL for like ten minutes after we said we needed a second to decide but i guess it happens and we were able to get someone else’s attention. A few notes on the food: the fluke crudo has a great sauce but you must slice the fish, you cannot just serve a raw filet of fish. the sauce doesn’t get to it and it is hard to slice raw fish while eating. cut the fish! the chicken entree was good but it was overcooked which shouldn’t be an issue with heavily breaded chicken. the poached hake was not cooked enough. the sticky rice dessert was really just rice pudding but was outstanding and the drink selection was very good.“

“No. 7 is a perfect restaurant for a night out in Brooklyn. It’s casual and also beautiful. There is always something new and fun on the menu. This time the Haloumi was amazing! The service is great and the wine list is superb while being fairly priced. Love that you’ll see families in the early evening and first dates later on. Must visit spot!“

“Go by yourself or with a group of friends. Very nice place to catch the game and hangout with friends. On the boardwalk. Wouldn't expect a nice place like this on the beach.
Went with 2 of my girlfriends. Great cool AC on 100+ degree temperature. Enjoyed watching football. Waiters and security were pleasant. Felt really cared for and check ins if we were okay was not excessive. Might need additional bartenders because a lot of people were present especially on the 4th of July weekend and one lady bartender was running to the other side to get drinks/ beer for customers. All in all would definitely go back. Thank you guys for a great 1st time customer experience 👍“

“I love dilly dally!!! The name really embodies the experience: you don't want to leave. I have been many times, and the food is always high quality and delicious. The aesthetic and the staff make you feel at home there. I recently spent many hours there working during the day. There was wifi and many outlets available. I got the breakfast burrito, which was incredible, and sustained me to do hours of work. If you haven't been, you are missing out!“

“I visited Cross Roads Bk today and loved it. The waiter was really nice and worked efficiently even though he was the only server on the floor. The restaurant was really clean and vibrant. I don't eat meat, and I had the opportunity to try one of their specials - a vegetarian turkey sandwich. It was amazing, and I highly recommend ordering it if they decide to keep it around.“

Recently I have decided it's my go to place first because their fish and chips is outstanding and now I'm branching out to other items on the menu. My only complaint is that they don't have malt vinegar for the fish and chips.“

“Honestly so overhyped. Everything was either solid or good, but nothing was outstanding or particularly worthy of note, especially given the near 1 hour wait on a random Wednesday. The mozzerella sticks are indeed the best mozzarella sticks I’ve had, but at the end of the day, they’re just mozzerella sticks. The vinegar chicken is good, baked clams are fine.“
