Their GF menu is extensive & impressive as well. I had shrimp and grits…so tasty! Granddaughter enjoyed chicken and waffles. Our drinks were perfect! Mimosas & Bloody Mary with the perfect amount of spice. Our waiter, “Lurch” was knowledgeable & insisted on “carding” me which automatically bumped up his tip. Overall, great experience and we’ve already made plans to return. Recommend 10/10.”

“This was our first time going here. We had heard good things about it. We had the boudin burger and I have to say it was yummy! Slightly spicy , great taste. Also had sweet potatoes fries. The y were good a bit over cooked but still good! A nice change from the average burger places. We will definitely go back. Price wise, not bad, 3 burgers and 2 fries about $44 dollar's. I guess waits can be long if they are busy, but I believe you can call in order and pick up if you don't want to sit in your car and wait. Definitely worth a try!!”

“As you enter, you are promptly greeted. We had a reservation, which due to traffic we were a little late. That being said we were seated immediately. Indoors every table has a view of the kitchen. The wait staff was extremely knowledgeable, and were able to answer any questions about the menu. I had the Crab cake Hush Puppies to start. Nice large hunks of lump crab in a moist, and fried to perfection batter. Accompanied with a slightly spicy remoulade. For my entree I went with a Blue crab Claw Ravioli. The balance of this dish I cannot even put into words. Talking with Chef Lance after the meal, and observing him at work. You can see and feel his passion for his chosen art. Just when you think your experience can't get any better, a walk to the back of the restaurant. A doorway marked "janitors closet" hides a secret entrance to the Speakeasy. I highly recommend a visit, should you find yourself anywhere near Tyler Texas!!”

When I got there early before our guests arrived, our two servers (I apologize I don’t remember their names I wish I did because they deserve a shoutout) were already on the ball to make sure our evening was enjoyable. Everyone arrived, we ordered, they brought our food, food was amazing and they did not let anyone’s drinks get low. The servers worked VERY hard and did an exceptional job!! I can not say enough about how wonderful it went from beginning to end. 28 of us with no hiccups..Thank you for making our evening special!”

“After a disappointing experience at the other Tyler IHOP location, I drove to this IHOP near the mall late Thursday night. Even though they were much busier and had significantly more customers, the difference in service was night and day.

The staff greeted me right away, were friendly and professional, and took my to-go order immediately. Despite the restaurant being packed, my order was placed, paid for, and ready in less than 15 minutes.

It's refreshing to see a team that remains attentive and welcoming even during a busy shift. The employees were working hard, maintaining a positive attitude, and providing excellent customer service. This location turned what started as a frustrating evening into a great experience.

Ethan and Bri were fantastic guides (servers), the Tyler award-winning Old Fashioned was flawless, and the Velvet Skyline (sounds odd, tastes incredible) is a must-try. We shared the Stone Fire Duck Flatbread (best flatbread ever—yes, even with duck!) and The Gatsby Burger, which lived up to its name, juiciest burger and the smell was heavenly (wish this review was a scratch and sniff). Great food, fresh ingredients, amazing cocktails, and the thrill of sneaking into a secret bar—what more do you need? We’ll definitely be back for many more visits.”

The only thing that kept me from giving the food 5 stars, was the green beans were still a little crunchy. My wife ordered the senior CFS; It was large enough that she could only eat half. It was a frozen, pretty breaded patty, but very tasty. The cream gravy was from a mix, but tasted like Pioneer mix, which I think is the best mix out there. We will return next time we are in Tyler, as I want to sample the Mexican menu.”

“We tried every pizza store in Tyler and were disappointed in all of them. Then we tried Papa Murphy's, for the first time ever. The idea of baking my own pizza wasn't really appealing to me. Essentially out of desperation we tried Papa Murphy's. I wish I had tried them years sooner. Now, we don't go anywhere else for pizza; not in Tyler, anyway!

1/14/2025 - and several pizzas later we still won't go anywhere else for pizza. Papa Murphy's has remained very tasty and a great value!

3/13/2026 - We're still here eating Papa Murphy's, and are truly satisfied customers. Still great taste, great value, always on time.

4/19/2026 - Still the best pizza around these parts! Just got a 'create your own' with creamy red sauce, extra cheese, loaded with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, spinach and tomatoes! Fantastic!!!

“We really love Andy’s. We like the fact they launched an app to track rewards. We can also upload cash to the app and pay with the app. This comes in handy if we have been walking the trails and want a quick treat and we don’t have our wallets. However, not all employees are trained on how to take payment from the app. On numerous occasions we have been told “I don’t know how to do that”. Tonight we were actually told “you can’t use the app to pay”. When I questioned further she said “I don’t know how to do it, so you can’t use it”. Why couldn’t she go ask someone how to do it?”

“We were visiting Tyler and staying at a Hotel. Wanted mexican food for dinner to take back to the hotel. Mercado's did a wonderful job. Ordered nachos and margaritas to go. “Me and my son went to Namaste to eat this afternoon and OMG it was AMAZING!! We had never had Indian food and I was extremely impressed! The atmosphere was so warming and cozy. The host and server were so sweet and friendly. The restaurant was top notch clean, and the food??? It came out quick and was extremely amazingly tasty!!! We will for sure be going back! “Soccer Taco has become our go-to spot for street tacos, and after eating here multiple times, I can honestly say it serves some of the best birria tacos in East Texas. The meat is always tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the consommé has a rich flavor that keeps you coming back for more. You can tell the food is made fresh and not just sitting around waiting to be served.

One thing that really stands out is the consistency. Whether we’re stopping in for a quick lunch or dinner, the quality is always the same. The rice and beans are excellent every time, which is something a lot of restaurants struggle to get right. The portions are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and even more so with their salsa and the service has always been friendlyu and efficient.

If I could make a couple of suggestions, I would love to see radishes served alongside the birria tacos. The cucumbers are good, but I think radishes would add a more traditional touch and complement the tacos perfectly. Even better would be offering both. I would also personally prefer the salsa to be served chilled rather than warm, as I think it would enhance the flavor and freshness.

Those are minor preferences and certainly not complaints. Overall, Soccer Taco consistently delivers authentic, fresh, and delicious food. If you’re looking for great street tacos, amazing birria, and dependable quality, this is absolutely a place worth trying. We recommend it to friends and family all the time and will definitely keep coming back.”

If you love sugar, and like coffee with your milk then this is the place! They do a fair ammount of promotions and have one with Dude perfect currently.”

“This place is a hidden gem. My wife and I tried it out because there weren't many Mexican restaurants open Sunday evening and it was a pleasant surprise! First off, the chips and salsa are homemade. They also give you a cup of sopita de coditos/conchas and it was so flavorful. The aguas frescas are delicious. I had pepino con limón and my wife tried the sandia and both were excellent. For the entree she had a quesadilla, which was made with a homemade corn tortilla, and a gordita and both were so good. I had a super burrito and I loved it as well. In the end we were both full and content. If you're looking for authentic homemade dishes and great service from a very nice and humble family, this is the place to go.”
