“Our church, Triedstone MBC, just hosted a luncheon for our leadership team. It was catered by Darrow’s New Orleans Grill. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious. And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “Today's experience in this restaurant was from bad to awsome starting from our waiter/server don't know the guy but had a real bad attitude constantly makeing faceses like if he was upset or angry us my family of 3 and noticed that he was very joyful with other people but with us has a bad attitude and that's before we started to order we just got there and got our seat to eat. Me personally If we still had that same waiter/server If I could I would give no stars for the service

But the manager stepped in and gave me the best service same thing with the other servers a male and a female with a pink sweater thanks to them I give this place a high rating and would bring my family again

Regardless that bad attitude of the guy who attended us
My recommendation if employee are in a bad mood or haveing a bad day it's never good to mix house problems/personal problems with work because to me olive garden it's a family restaurant

But thank you to the manager and the 2 addition servers that help us and gave us the best experience 👍

My oldest grandson is now 25 and the baby is 16. Whenever there is ice cream wanted in my house and they are around, it’s a trip to Ken’s! Watching it pass from one generation to another, has been a great thing for our community! One trip to Ken’s and you are hooked for life! “Did not expect to be this nice because google image show a very simple restaurant. I went there yesterday with my family we were looking for Thai restaurant near by my house. I just move here for school so not familiar with area but my family want to eat our culture food. I am on a budget and this place coming with high rating. I like it a lot. Service was good. Crab fried rice for $13.99 is to die for. I usually spend closer to $20 for crab fried rice else where and they even use the real crab. Chicken wing are amazing. Red curry is also taste like home. I will definitely coming back. We sit there for closer to 2 hours and my nephew was entertain. They have games for kid and coin machine too. What a good find!”

“I normally don’t go out for hot dogs because most places feel basic — just a plain hot dog like you’d grab at a gas station. Nothing exciting.

But this place was completely different. The flavors actually surprised me. The bread was grilled perfectly with a buttery, slightly sweet taste, mixed with a little spice and crunch from the toppings. You can tell they went beyond just throwing a hot dog in a bun. The combination of sauces, crispy onions, fresh ingredients, and toasted bread made the whole thing taste incredible. Your taste buds are basically screaming, “Wow, this is GOOD.”

The hot dog itself honestly wasn’t anything super special, but everything built around it made the experience awesome. If they ever created their own unique signature hot dog recipe instead of using a more standard one, I’m telling you… that would take this place to another level completely.”

“I Love Blenders, but I usually go in for the smoothies! I’ve had one of their Ramen Soup and lumpia’s which both were very very good! Service is amazing! They did my drinks aesthetically pleasing and the staff were fast and very sweet.

The ambiance is nice, very relaxing plenty of seating and definitely good to hang and study. I will definitely come back here to try their other drink/lattes options.

“This our favorite breakfast spot near CSUDH. Usually we'll order ahead by phone. The morning menu is a great mix of traditional American and Mexican dishes. Sometimes we'll get Pancakes and Eggs, sometimes Huevos Rancheros but most times it's breakfast burritos that really hit the spot and can carry us till dinner time.
The cafe has been remodeled quite a bit over the last few years and their atmosphere and decor is another wonderful addition to the personality of this great little Mexican grill.”

“I ordered sinigang beef and sayote beef n shrimp. My most favorite was the sinigang beef. The broth was well balanced with flavors and chunks of beef on bone. No hint of additional oil which made the soup flavorful as you would expect the slightly sour taste of the tamarind yet it was balanced with the right seasonings and veggies. The sayote beef/shrimp was full of flavor but the drawback for me is that it was oily even though the sayote dish is like a sabaw (soup) dish. If you love rice, they pack half the plate with white rice. The total cost for rice plus 2 items came out to $13.19 debit charge. It’s cheaper than other places but I think they have a pay scale depending on what you order. My receipt shows they charged me for a 2 item combo but I had an additional
Charge of .99 cents for the sinigang beef. I guess the rice is considered an item as well. I’m not bothered by the charge since it’s still cheaper than other places I’ve been. So the rest of the food selections look good and well presented. I will come back to try more dishes. Overall my experience was good and the atmosphere is pleasant.”

I had to wait for orderingmy foods.I ordered a chicken bowl with white rice and vegetables for takeout.After that, I waited for 15 minutes, and my order was ready.Then, I tried a chicken bowl. I couldtasted Asian flavor sauce, which wastasty meal. I loved vegetables, which were broccoli, carrots, green onionand cabbage. They were delicious. And the steamed rice was just cooked right.I really enjoyed the chicken bowl.I recommend everyone to Flame Broiler restaurant in Carson.They have the best chicken ?!!!”

“I ordered the garlic noddle with beef and it was delicious, and my partner got one of their bowls and enjoyed their food too. We ordered take out both times, but I was back for more a week later. The portion sizes are big, I made 2 meals from my noddles and it tasted even better day two. I have not ate inside the restaurant but it looks clean, bright, and even offers outdoor dining. It is shared with another restaurant that serves açaís bowls, I believe, which only opens up the variety of food you can get.”

“I was in yesterday Carson store 9/13 for lunch for a sandwich, never been there before. Asked the cute server if she could make a philly cheesesteak for me. She said she could try to do her best, well she did!! Man That sandwich was tasty!! I got a giant one, ate half, was stuffed liked crazy. Had to bring the other half home, set it on the kitchen counter and left it there. Forgot about it and saw it this morning when I was making my coffee and I thought for sure it was no good, all soggy and stuff. But nope, opened it up it was a little soggy but I said what the hell, took a bite and OMG what a tasty bite that was first thing in the morning!!! Needless to say I will be going back for another tasty philly cheesesteak from her next weekend. I should have gotten her name.”

“Mongolian beef and chicken chow mein. All the Mongolian beef I've ever tried have been delicious this place a little unique, a little on the sweet side but still its good. Maybe next time ill tell the cook if he could not sweet the beef but its good. Chow mein was great! Haven't tried chicken chow mein that delicious in a long while. The place is laid out like a typical Asian restaurant, floors are clean, tables are cleaned as well very quiet just how i like it lol.”
