“Our church, Triedstone MBC, just hosted a luncheon for our leadership team. It was catered by Darrow’s New Orleans Grill. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious. And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “Today's experience in this restaurant was from bad to awsome starting from our waiter/server don't know the guy but had a real bad attitude constantly makeing faceses like if he was upset or angry us my family of 3 and noticed that he was very joyful with other people but with us has a bad attitude and that's before we started to order we just got there and got our seat to eat. Me personally If we still had that same waiter/server If I could I would give no stars for the service

But the manager stepped in and gave me the best service same thing with the other servers a male and a female with a pink sweater thanks to them I give this place a high rating and would bring my family again

Regardless that bad attitude of the guy who attended us
My recommendation if employee are in a bad mood or haveing a bad day it's never good to mix house problems/personal problems with work because to me olive garden it's a family restaurant

“Went close to closing asked my mother to pick up food. Fish was fried hard, was so little, and tight. Tried calling back but they were closed. I took pictures to show them so I can get my hard earned money back. Can’t even eat it so hard and tight. So disappointing.

Hey coming back with an edit. I spoke with Michael and he not only fixed my order but went above and beyond to fix my order. I don’t have any new pictures but will post later because we destroyed our meal because it was delicious. I will definitely be back. Please give them a try!!!!!”

“I enjoy coming to Hiccups for lunch and even dinner at times. Me and my family (3) visited this Sunday, March 15. The garlic pasta noodles is one of my favorites and the chamoy mango slushy. The friendliness of the staff could be more vibrant but the overall experience was still good.

Our food came out in a decent manner, and it was hot and fresh. I ordered (10 pc) Cajun wings, garlic noodles, pineapple shrimp fried rice (for myself), beef pad Thai & chamoy mango slushy (for my man), and chicken bites & fries and a sprite (for my son). I also placed a separate order to go for (my mother), chicken bites with fried rice.

I was a little disappointed they changed some things on the menu but still my favorite place to get a chamoy mango slushy. We had so much food leftover we had dinner for later.”

“Ken’s, is the best ice cream in the world! I think the loving attitude used to scoop it up, makes it extremely special! My grandkids started my journey with Ken’s, years ago. My oldest grandson is now 25 and the baby is 16. Whenever there is ice cream wanted in my house and they are around, it’s a trip to Ken’s! Watching it pass from one generation to another, has been a great thing for our community! One trip to Ken’s and you are hooked for life! Crab fried rice for $13.99 is to die for. I usually spend closer to $20 for crab fried rice else where and they even use the real crab. Chicken wing are amazing. Red curry is also taste like home. I will definitely coming back. We sit there for closer to 2 hours and my nephew was entertain. They have games for kid and coin machine too. What a good find!”

“THE best breakfast burrito I've ever had, or ever will. You cannot top this.

You know when you're eating food at one of those special places and you stop and ask yourself.. it this really THIS good?? It's the best, bar none, and it's not even close.

Get the Würst - sunny side up is a MUST. The burrito is filled to the brim with gooey runny egg and the way everything goes together is *chef's kiss*.
I also highly recommend swapping to Kielbasa. Almost no places in the greater LA area even have Kielbasa, so having that alongside all this food is amazing.

The other options are no slouch either - the fries are great (although the tots I'd say are mid), the burgers with eggs are awesome and have the delicious hawaiian bread (Ringer + fried egg = so good).

I really liked the Reservoir Hog too - you can't go wrong with Kielbasa.

They also have outdoor seating, which is nice.”

Lots of delicious dishes here - from their sweet ribs to the barbecues, but my favorites have to be the kare kare and daing na bangus paired with their homemade vinegar. Five stars on the food. As for customer service, however, like other reviews have mentioned, they fall short on that. All the times I’ve gone, the staff wasn’t friendly, medyo masungit, with some even looking annoyed. Oh well. Sounds like a “It’s not me, it’s you” problem lol. As long as it doesn’t affect their cooking, it won’t stop me from coming back for some tasty comfort food. Kain tayo!”

Service is amazing! They did my drinks aesthetically pleasing and the staff were fast and very sweet.

The atmosphere is good. On one side they have the freeway and on the other side are a bunch of werehouses, so you'll see a bunch of werehouses employees coming in to eat for their lunch from time to time. One little hiccup is that they should spend a bit more time not just wiping down their tables, but their benches as well. Other than that, the food is good and the employees have a great attitude! Been going there since 2010.”

The portions are bigger. However, you can get your own sauce. They gave 2 small tiny teriyaki for a works bowl. Then, I was charged for extra sauce. The 2 she gives is not enough. You usually can put the sauce on yourself. Not here they give 2 per bowl.”

This place has been around for years, and it shows in the best way. The interior has that early-2000s, old-school burger joint feel—nostalgic, comfortable, and full of memories.
I usually do drive-thru or pickup, but you can eat in if you want. Portions are solid, and they definitely don’t skimp. The chili cheese fries are bomb, and when you ask for extra seasoning, they’re generous every time (love that).
The double cheeseburger special is another favorite—simple, classic, and that true mom-and-pop burger taste you don’t find much anymore. Always hits the spot.

“Where do I start!!!! I was in the area and hangry so I just googled Mexican food that was the 1st option on Google… I was sold immediately from the pictures. I drove there and I certainly was not disappointed when I arrived at the place. Reminds me of my grandma‘s house the lady in the front was very nice. Just enjoying her first cuppa coffee. she welcomed me and and I got a burrito she barely spoke any English, but she was so nice to me with her little English and my little Spanish we made it work. and I had the most delicious burrito I ever had only for $10. My mind blow away, delicious food and worth every penny I’m coming there every chance I can...you should try it. It’s delicious.”

I had to wait for orderingmy foods.I ordered a chicken bowl with white rice and vegetables for takeout.After that, I waited for 15 minutes, and my order was ready.Then, I tried a chicken bowl. I couldtasted Asian flavor sauce, which wastasty meal. I loved vegetables, which were broccoli, carrots, green onionand cabbage. They were delicious. And the steamed rice was just cooked right.I really enjoyed the chicken bowl.I recommend everyone to Flame Broiler restaurant in Carson.They have the best chicken ?!!!”

“I found this place thanks to Google maps. Last year I was in town to pick up my family who arrived from the Philippines. It was my wife's birthday and I wanted to surprise her with food from home so I got several dishes from this restaurant and it was AMAZING. I sat inside to wait for my order since it was a big order. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We will be sure to come back here every time we come back to LA.”

“Mongolian beef and chicken chow mein. All the Mongolian beef I've ever tried have been delicious this place a little unique, a little on the sweet side but still its good. Maybe next time ill tell the cook if he could not sweet the beef but its good. Chow mein was great! Haven't tried chicken chow mein that delicious in a long while. The place is laid out like a typical Asian restaurant, floors are clean, tables are cleaned as well very quiet just how i like it lol.”

“I was in yesterday Carson store 9/13 for lunch for a sandwich, never been there before. Asked the cute server if she could make a philly cheesesteak for me. She said she could try to do her best, well she did!! Man That sandwich was tasty!! I got a giant one, ate half, was stuffed liked crazy. Had to bring the other half home, set it on the kitchen counter and left it there. Forgot about it and saw it this morning when I was making my coffee and I thought for sure it was no good, all soggy and stuff. But nope, opened it up it was a little soggy but I said what the hell, took a bite and OMG what a tasty bite that was first thing in the morning!!! Needless to say I will be going back for another tasty philly cheesesteak from her next weekend. I should have gotten her name.”
