“Wonderful crispy tofu appetizer. For entree we had ahi tuna and also the Scottish salmon with vegetables. Awesome! We ordered a few glasses of chardonnay. It was all delicious in a cozy restaurant with friendly staff that made it a great dinner experience. We arrived at 8.15pm, the kitchen last call is 8.30pm. We ordered everything right away. At 8.30pm they did come around for last call from the kitchen. We had an enjoyable dinner experience.”

“My mother and I visited this location and had the best service of all the restaurants we visited during my vacation. Our server was friendly, funny and took excellent care of us. When our meal was finished he was sweet and gave us soup and bread refills to go with our meal leftovers. My mother joked that this was our first outing where the meal cost more because she felt she needed to tip bigger for the wonderful service... Then smiled because it was worth it! Sadly, I didn't remember his name but he worked there 20 years and he was still passionate about giving good service.”

“Hiyori Sushi restaurant is a hidden gem in Cypress, CA. The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean and tidy, and the staff is very friendly. I tried the Medium Live Sashimi set, and I was extremely satisfied with the numerous side dishes that came with the sashimi. I definitely have to try Tuna special next time”

“Loved this hotel. Staff were courtesy, always helpful and the hotel (both in and outside) were being cleaned nonstop. The only downfall of this stay were the rude guests who were there and the nonstop partying they were having at the pool. My recommendation to the hotel: shift the pool hours from 10-10pm to 9am - 9pm. Quiet hours are supposed to start at 9pm, but when you have a pool open until 10pm, you invited unruly guests to stay there until 10pm. Staff tried to quiet them down, but to no avail. Again, not the fault of the hotel for having rude guests, but there is a solutions to prevent this from happening again. Future guests - do NOT stay at a ground level room next to the pool if are an early go to bed type of have young kids whose bedtime is at 730pm (like mine are). I recommend staying far away from the pool as possible just in case you have the same rude crowd I did during Labor Day weekend. I still give this hotel five stars though!!”

“Stumbled upon this place and had an amazing experience. Their espresso is smooth and gave me steady energy. Lately I've been loving coffee shops that serve in ceramic mugs vs to go cups. It elates the experience imo. I just wish they had more seating and were open a little longer but 10/10 for coffee! Oh and almost forgot, they allow dogs Inside which is a HUGE PLUS”

“Even though this place is located right across from Forest Lawn, this place is super cute! Love the simple and clean look. My husband and I couldn't decide so we ordered 3 entrees. Lol! We had the Ham and Cheese Croissant, the Katsu, and the Avocado Toast. I love that the croissant on the sandwich was soft and flaky, but also had some sort of honey glazed on top. It complemented the ham really well. My husband also enjoyed how simple the avocado toast was with the ricotta. It was nice to have salad sides for both options, especially nutrient dense salads like arugula salad and spring salad. The katsu was nice and crispy, however, we were stuffed so we had to take it to go. It was still delicious hours laters. As for drinks, my husband couldn't decide between the Oat Black Sesame Latte or Iced Biscoff latte. The Iced Biscoff Latte was good, but he enjoyed the Black Sesame Latte better. I loved my Iced Strawberry Matcha. They also have pastries and goodies available for purchase. There's plenty of seating and space between each table to where it's not claustrophobic. There's a bathroom available for customers. I would definitely love to come back. My husband and I really enjoyed this spot!”

“I am an a corn dog fanatic! They have a unique variety of corn dog styled treats. You can choose from your choice of batter style and seasoning to the core filling. Half cheese half hotdog, all hot dog, all cheese, potato topped, flaming hot cheeto, or plain ol american style. I got the Korean style, rolled in sugar and topped with mustard and ketchup; Sweat and savory! My daughter got all cheese filled with cheeto topping. Reasonable prices, 10.99 for a corn dog, side, and drink. A single corn dog of any type is around 4.99. Sides unclude seasoned fries, kimchi fries, or seasoned corn on the cob. They also have a variety of slushies and soft drink. My daughter and I will be visiting again to try out their diffrent styled corn dogs.”

“I tried the coffee milk tea 50% sweet, and it was the BEST coffee milk tea I've had. Even at 100% sweet I think it would still be a good amount of sweetness and not too overpowering. It was honestly really good and I would definitely get it a hundred more times.The one thing though is that they are a bit on the pricey side, almost $7 if you get it with a topping. That's definitely the upper limit I've seen, different places range from $4.50 - $7. But it seems worth it here.”

“Eaten at Chaba twice and it’s been a very good experience. The curry and rice is very tasty when mixed together and good quality. I highly recommend mild spicy as even the medium is pretty hot. The Fried Wontons were pretty good as well as the Thai Cold Coffee. The Customer service is excellent. You definitely get bang for the buck when it comes to lunch price. If I had one recommendation for improvement is the restaurants is a little dated and could use an upgrade inside.”

“Mexican restaurant located right across the entrance to Cypress College, on Valley View and Lakeshore Dr., in northern Orange County.

It's an "everyday", no-frill restaurant, nothing fancy, and prices reflect that. But it seems to be fairly popular in the area, and that's always a good sign. It's clean, the service is very good, prompt, and corteous. The menu is quite extensive, going way beyond the usual tacos, burritos, and enchiladas. You'll find things like menudo and posole, which is always a good sign of a more "authentic" Mexican restaurant. Oddly enough, they also serve burgers. If you dine in, you'll get a complimentary basket of tortilla chips with bean paste. There's a self-service salsa bar. The assortment is decent, but the variety is limited. Most importantly, if you don't like spicy, your only choice is the salsa verde.

The food is good. Not spectacular, but definitely above average for this type of restaurant. I had the chicken burrito, my wife had the fish plate (tilapia, of course...) The burrito had a slightly toasted tortilla, which is something I appreciate. The meat was good and tasty. We also tried a side of guacamole. Home-made, no doubt, and pretty good, although we've definitely had better.

Overall, it's a solid choice if you're in the area and craving for fast Mexican food.”

“The omakase was superb at 'Omakase by FIAB'. The chef's selection consisted of seventeen (17) plates, which were all delectable paired with good service. The server provided a narrative for each plate. The total time for this great selected omakase was 1.5 hours. The ambiance was lively, and the servers were polite, friendly, and prompt. It's definitely a recommended restaurant!”

“If you're hungry, in a pinch and very in need of soup this spot has got you covered. The pho here is solid and a bowl on a cold day will bring back some life into your system. Portion size here is solid with plenty of meat and noodles. The service here was kind and timely. The parking lot here at night can get busy so becareful. Definitely a nice little spot to visit before heading home after work.”

I'm from San Diego and we joke that you can't get a great burrito north of the I-8 freeway. 😂 HOWEVER, you can if you travel up to Buena Park's Athenian Burger! I got the machaca. Tons of flavor, nice meat to egg and potato ratio. And the tortilla...whoa! Usually it is my experience that the tortilla is an after thought...considered just to be the edible vessel holding the contents of your burrito, the tortilla can often be dry and heavy. Most of the time I leave a large portion of my tortilla uneaten. This tortilla, though, was very good!!! Thin, light, soft and the perfect chew. I tried to capture it in the photo to give you an idea of how great it was but you really just need to get in here and have one. We'll be back the next time we're in town! #burritosarelife 🌯”

“This place was really good for a light, healthy meal option. I had a veggie bowl + curry + salad combo and was very happy with it. Good prices and the staff was friendly. I dined in but probably great for takeout too.

Vegetarian options: Very happy w/ the veggie bowl. Fresh broccoli and cannage were really good with the curry and salad on the side.

Parking: Plenty of parking spaces right in the front. A few 15 minute spaces to if you're on the go.”

“I just finished a bulgogi beef bento plate along with California rolls and Jin San spicy ramen. Well I do have some of the California rolls leftover. It was a feast. All quite delicious! Very tasty. This is a take out place with a few small tables. It is a clean place and the staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are Reasonable and the Portions are generous enough. The food is fresh and cooked to order. All small businesses are facing the same labor and food products pricing stresses on their bottom line. Please support your local businesses.”

“This is a great place to eat if you like seafood. They do have some chicken options if not everyone likes fish or shrimp. I would recommend getting the garlic sauce and the dynamite sauce. Their premium sides are also delicious. Their brussel sprouts are good as well as their corn. The rice is also good but you need to mix it with the food. I really enjoyed this place and would return to try different items.”

Except when a certain location was closed for a day (during normal business hours) due to some reason, i forgot. Other than that, i wish they had one near where i live now.”

“This was my first visit (several weeks ago) and I liked the food. I had wanted a salad with our pizzas to go but was told they were out of containers. Just when I thought I was having another disappointing experience, I was approached and told they found some! Great! I’ll take one! What a surprise to be given TWO salads, free of charge! They were very nice and I offered to pay but was graciously told they were on the house. So very nice and I enjoyed salad with my pizza as well as salad for lunch the next day. Thank you!”
