I just got back from New York, and I’m not even kidding when I say this beats every pizza I had there.

I’ve been coming here for almost 3 years now, and it will forever be one of my favorite restaurants. Everything is SO flavorful. The chef seriously has magic hands because I have yet to order something that isn’t delicious.

I travel a ton, and whenever I’m back in town, this is always the first place I want to stop. The second I walk through the door, it feels like home. ❤

“I have been coming to Sojuya for several years. At first, I was a little intimidated because there’s lots of options on the menu, but the staff is friendly and willing to help answer any questions you have. We come here at least one a month, more times if we have family coming in from out of town as it’s a great spot to to take them that I know will be different than they have in their home town. This place is my go to for great food, awesome service and a fun atmosphere. It is also my go to if I have a larger party. Anytime I have come here with a party of 6,8 or even 10 people, the host doesn’t even bat an eye and space is found for us. I love the ability to get great Korean comfort food along with the best yakatori. We love the vibe, the people and the food here. Thank you Sojuya! It is always a treat to come.”

“10/10 recommend Yuka Japanese Cuisine for sushi and Japanese dishes. The restaurant offers an excellent array of sushi hand rolls as well as traditional cut rolls, and everything we tried was packed with flavor. They also have a great selection of ramen and udon dishes, so there are plenty of options beyond sushi. The fish tasted fresh, the rolls were well made, and the overall quality really stood out.

Definitely a spot worth checking out — I will absolutely be back! 🍣✨”

“I've been going to Sweetee Thai since it opened years ago and I stopped in for lunch today. There's a sign on the door separating them from Sweetee Thai in Cerritos. Long story short both restaurants have new owners. Susie has retired now and I wasn't sure if I was going to be satisfied but truth be told the quality of all four dishes rated 5 stars in my book. Thats unprecedented. In fact it's much higher than my rating at Sweetee Thai over the last several years. (This is a personal quest for the best Thai food in the LB, North Orange County Area, not anything I've previously shared.)
First, we had the Beef Satay appetizer. The portion was generously sized, with an excellent cut of meat and you could taste the flame grilling. It was perfect, the peanut sauce might need a smidgen of vinegar to balance the sweet but nothing that most people would notice and maybe they prefer it on the sweeter side. It's my preference to have a little tang to my peanut sauce.) Second, we shared two main entrees, the Jade Curry with tofu over white rice, (The *spicy version was still mild enough for me to add more hot dried chili twice.) It was seasoned exactly right, with full bodied flavor without being just spicy or hot. It had exactly the right feel in your mouth. Thirdly, we shared the Nam Tok, (A sliced, warm, grilled beef in a lime based dressing with cabbage on a bed of romaine lettuce.) The lime dressing acts to slightly steam the cabbage (Think of how ceviche works.) and the lettuce, yet still leaving both crispy. I used the lettuce and created a wrap, with the steak, cabbage and lime dressing, and although the dish comes with rice it's not necessary in my estimation.
Fourth, we had Mango with sticky rice for dessert. They didn’t disappoint here either. The mangos were just the perfect ripeness and it's only available in season. (Points for waiting for the mangos to ripen. It's getting common to be served underripe mango, even at Whole Foods and Sprouts, places where farm fresh produce is served cut up.) Thai food has been my absolute favorite food since 1977, THIS WAS THE BEST Thai meal I've had in years. I'm always trying new Thai places to match the highest quality I've had in the past. If they can maintain this level of culinary delight I'll be trying every item on the menu. I think the root of this excellent flavor of the beef and the curry comes from the dried red chili's that they use, the spices were fresh and a smoky spicy without relying on heat only for the flavor profile. Please, please keep it up! The OC Register needs to send out their food critics because I was blown away and I think they will be too.”

“We love the ice cream here! The workers are incredibly sweet and keep the line moving fast, no matter how busy it gets. That said, the lack of restrooms is a huge drawback. Their website does say to 'plan ahead,' but as any parent of young kids knows, that's easier said than done! We've actually had two bathroom accidents at RC now, which really makes us second-guess visiting. Since it's such a popular seasonal spot, I wouldn't think it'd be too hard to at least provide a porta-potty. It would make a world of difference for families in a pinch.”

Recently, I ate kimbap from The Source at 1.5x the price as the one here, and the quality was so bad that it made me miss the taste of the one I ordered from here. “I cannot say enough amazing things about Baking Room. I worked with them on a large set of orders that needed to be delivered to offices around the area, and they absolutely blew me away from start to finish.

As someone in sales, I really wanted something that felt thoughtful, elevated, and memorable — not just a standard box of sweets. Baking Room completely understood the assignment. They created some of the most beautiful boxes I have ever seen. Every single box looked intentional, polished, and special, like it had been put together with so much care. The presentation was honestly stunning.

What impressed me even more was that each box had specific instructions, and they handled every detail perfectly. Nothing felt rushed or generic. Everything was organized, beautiful, and made with such attention to detail. It made my life so much easier knowing I could trust them with something that represented me and my company.

And of course, the sweets themselves were absolutely delectable. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtful, and delicious. You could tell these were not just thrown together — they were made with love and real craftsmanship. The boxes had that perfect “wow” factor where people are excited before they even take the first bite, and then the treats completely deliver.

The service was also some of the best I have ever experienced. The team was kind, responsive, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure everything turned out perfectly. They made a big order feel easy, smooth, and even fun. It is rare to find a business that is this creative, this dependable, and this lovely to work with.

The best part is my area has brick and mortar stores where I just walk in and buy my meal prep for the week...Meals cooked in a local kitchen by real chefs with local fresh ingredients. I'm busy all the time and although I love cooking it's hard to cook for just one person. The majority of meals are 600 calories or less. An easy way for me to stay in my calorie deficit. I just had the chicken schwarma bowl and it was soooo good. Tasted just like a home cooked meal. Highly recommend”

“I was in the area for work and decided to stop in for breakfast. There was no wait—I was seated right away and had my drink in front of me within minutes. I ordered the Hobo Omelet with home fries (topped with onions and peppers) and white toast.

Service was fast and friendly, which made for a great start to the day. The omelet was delicious, with a nice, even mix of ingredients throughout. The home fries were a generous portion and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crispy edges and flavorful peppers and onions. The toast was nicely browned, buttery, and served with both strawberry and grape jelly—though strawberry is always the clear winner in my book.

Overall, it was a great breakfast spot, and I definitely plan on coming back to try more of the menu!”

“So happy to have found Ponchos Antojitos! It's super close to us, so we don't have to go far out of our way for great ice cream anymore. We tried the Cookie Monster and Cotton Candy flavors—both were well-chilled and bursting with flavor. My 3-year-old daughter especially loved the Cotton Candy. The plaza is a bit hidden, but that’s a plus since it's not usually busy, so there's no long wait. We actually discovered this place while searching for ice cream spots after the other two places we tried had long lines, and my daughter wanted her treat quickly. This is definitely our new go-to!”

I'm from San Diego and we joke that you can't get a great burrito north of the I-8 freeway. 😂 HOWEVER, you can if you travel up to Buena Park's Athenian Burger! I got the machaca. Tons of flavor, nice meat to egg and potato ratio. And the tortilla...whoa! Usually it is my experience that the tortilla is an after thought...considered just to be the edible vessel holding the contents of your burrito, the tortilla can often be dry and heavy. Most of the time I leave a large portion of my tortilla uneaten. This tortilla, though, was very good!!! Thin, light, soft and the perfect chew. I tried to capture it in the photo to give you an idea of how great it was but you really just need to get in here and have one. We'll be back the next time we're in town! #burritosarelife 🌯”

“This is an amazing place to come get food here at the Cypress Swap Meet. I have passed by here a few times and notice the line is always getting to be really long, so I knew I would one day have to try it. Well today was that day and I was left really pleased with my meal.

I ordered two gorditas, one asada and one chicharrón rojo and they were both so damn good. I had cheese put into both of them and even though I wasn’t able to get salsa, I still loved every last bite. I think I liked the chicharron one a little more than the asada but they were both delicious.

I will say, they were quite pricy, 6$ for each one but it was definitely worth it because they were great. I am already thinking about coming back and trying some of their other options, as they have a long list of meats to choose from and even some good vegetarian options as well like rajas con queso or beans.

Also, this place tends to get pretty packed. I wasn’t able to sit down because all the tables were taken so I had to get my food to go and eat at one of the benches by the college. And don’t be scared by the long line. It goes by real fast!”

“The omakase was superb at 'Omakase by FIAB'. The chef's selection consisted of seventeen (17) plates, which were all delectable paired with good service. The server provided a narrative for each plate. The total time for this great selected omakase was 1.5 hours. The ambiance was lively, and the servers were polite, friendly, and prompt. It's definitely a recommended restaurant!”

There are 3 parking spots right in front of the store for pick up orders, if you use the Paris Baguette app to place your order online. It's more than just a bakery, you could grab sandwiches as well. I enjoyed the Creme Brulee Bombolone (9/10) and Pain aux Raisins (7/10) with iced cold brew. The pain aux raisins is a bit stale, no longer crunchy. The whole red bean bread and the sweet potato bread are soft and good.”

Thus the food is ok, strictly speaking pretty typical. If you happen to be closest to it, you'll have a good time, but note that two sister locations are pretty close by, you could probably walk to the Valley View one”

“I got the winter melon tea latte with the brown sugar mochi boba and my friend got the einspanner matcha. I got 100% sweetness and the winter melon tea latte was very light in taste. The winter melon tea aroma is slightly there, but I wouldn’t describe it as a watered down taste at all, just very light. The mochi boba was very good, it’s sweet, soft, and chewy. Definitely a good alternative to normal boba, I highly recommend trying the mochi boba. The matcha was also very good and had a good earthiness taste with slight sweetness. The einspanner cream top is salty and sweet, which helps to add sweetness to the matcha.

The employee took their time making these drinks and I think the quality showed from their efforts. I would come here again! I highly recommend this place for those who don’t want super sugary/sweet tea.”

This is a take out place with a few small tables. It is a clean place and the staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are Reasonable and the Portions are generous enough. The food is fresh and cooked to order. All small businesses are facing the same labor and food products pricing stresses on their bottom line. Please support your local businesses.”
