“I think this might be the second time I’ve left a review, but I’m honestly shocked this place doesn’t have five stars. I’ve been coming here for years, and not once have I ever left feeling like it wasn’t worth it.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant anywhere. From the warm, homey feeling the moment you walk in, to the great service from Luigi and the rest of the team, everything is always on point. And of course, the food speaks for itself. Chef Franco is truly a gem and one of a kind.

My go-to order is usually between the lamb chops or the pork chop served with veggies and mashed potatoes. The flavor is unreal. 10 stars!!! for meee”

“I have been coming to Sojuya for several years. At first, I was a little intimidated because there’s lots of options on the menu, but the staff is friendly and willing to help answer any questions you have. We come here at least one a month, more times if we have family coming in from out of town as it’s a great spot to to take them that I know will be different than they have in their home town. This place is my go to for great food, awesome service and a fun atmosphere. It is also my go to if I have a larger party. Anytime I have come here with a party of 6,8 or even 10 people, the host doesn’t even bat an eye and space is found for us. I love the ability to get great Korean comfort food along with the best yakatori. We love the vibe, the people and the food here. Thank you Sojuya! It is always a treat to come.”

“I stopped by Country Cafe and had a great breakfast experience. This is a small, mom-and-pop-style restaurant that feels welcoming from the moment you walk in. The place was very clean, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and provided great customer service.

We ordered the Popeye Omelet, Hobo Omelet, and French Toast. My favorite dish was the Popeye Omelet, which comes with fresh spinach, bacon, onions, mushrooms, and Jack cheese. I added soyrizo and potatoes, and it took the omelet to another level — absolutely delicious and very satisfying. While I didn’t personally try the Hobo Omelet or the French Toast, my kids ordered those and they loved both, which says a lot. Portions were solid, and everything looked fresh and well-prepared.

Overall, Country Cafe offers a comfortable, home-style atmosphere with tasty breakfast options and excellent service. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot you can come back to again and again, and I’ll definitely be returning.”

“I thought the restaurant was beautiful and the atmosphere was relatively quiet as we went during a windy afternoon, the service from the cashier was great and she was very friendly. :) the pho was good, I have a favorite spot that's now a bit out of the way since I've moved to OC, but this had a nice a suble flavor profile, and the Bahn mi was good as well, a bit too oily if I'm being honest. Flavors were good though :)”

“This place has become a favorite because they do two things good; coffee and pastries. The most impeccable combo food, other than ketchup fries. Service was quick and easy they make their own pastries, which is rare for a coffee shop. Bear signature menu is creative and executed well. I went in one of my basic B cookie butter latte ended up getting something else. Mango cold brew. Wow. Two flavor that can meld so nice so nice. mixing the drink so you don’t have the code foam with the ice”

“This teriyaki spot is our go-to place. Their flavor is one of the best in Orange County. While other places just slap teriyaki sauce on plain chicken, this place actually marinates the meat first, then grills it and brushes on more sauce as it cooks — giving it that perfect smoky, grilled flavor without being overly sweet or heavy. And unlike a lot of places that hiked their prices like crazy after the pandemic, this spot still keeps their prices super reasonable. Amazing taste, great value — total hidden gem!”

“I was in the area for work and decided to stop in for breakfast. There was no wait—I was seated right away and had my drink in front of me within minutes. I ordered the Hobo Omelet with home fries (topped with onions and peppers) and white toast.

Service was fast and friendly, which made for a great start to the day. The omelet was delicious, with a nice, even mix of ingredients throughout. The home fries were a generous portion and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crispy edges and flavorful peppers and onions. The toast was nicely browned, buttery, and served with both strawberry and grape jelly—though strawberry is always the clear winner in my book.

Overall, it was a great breakfast spot, and I definitely plan on coming back to try more of the menu!”

“Food is delicious and reasonably priced. I got the Charbroil Hamburger no cheese combo which came with fries and a drink was about $10. I would def go back and the service was great. Smiling workers and saying hello when you get to the counter. You don’t have to bus your table but it’s nice we did since the trash and all our right before you exit and we know it helps them out. Go try them out. You wont be disappointed”

The ice cream seems expensive, but when you join their VIP members club you get $3 off almost every single time.

It's located in a very quiet neighborhood in cypress, it's easy to park and grab an ice cream.

I'm from San Diego and we joke that you can't get a great burrito north of the I-8 freeway. 😂 HOWEVER, you can if you travel up to Buena Park's Athenian Burger! I got the machaca. Tons of flavor, nice meat to egg and potato ratio. And the tortilla...whoa! Usually it is my experience that the tortilla is an after thought...considered just to be the edible vessel holding the contents of your burrito, the tortilla can often be dry and heavy. Most of the time I leave a large portion of my tortilla uneaten. This tortilla, though, was very good!!! Thin, light, soft and the perfect chew. I tried to capture it in the photo to give you an idea of how great it was but you really just need to get in here and have one. We'll be back the next time we're in town! #burritosarelife 🌯”

Just when I thought I was having another disappointing experience, I was approached and told they found some! Great! I’ll take one! What a surprise to be given TWO salads, free of charge! They were very nice and I offered to pay but was graciously told they were on the house. So very nice and I enjoyed salad with my pizza as well as salad for lunch the next day. Thank you!”

This is a take out place with a few small tables. It is a clean place and the staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are Reasonable and the Portions are generous enough. The food is fresh and cooked to order. All small businesses are facing the same labor and food products pricing stresses on their bottom line. Please support your local businesses.”
