“Hidden gem! Delicious food & great service. Choices are endless, they work around your eating restrictions that you may have and provide you with suggestions. Owner is friendly and wants you to feel welcome which is very appreciating. Will be back and recommend it to everyone!”
“One of our go-tos!! Great food every time! Can’t go wrong with the duck entree!”
“My family ate at Venturas on Tuesday; my husband ordered the steak which I was seriously so impressed with that I just had to drive back there tonight to get a takeout NY strip for me (I did share with my husband too). AGAIN, very impressed! Perfect seasoning and tenderness which i have not had since eating at a Ruth Chris in FL! I love their bread with the Pesto in the oil! Nice touch. Thank you”

“Haven't been there yet,but I'm sure food is delicious. Danny this Betty Garramone my mother was very good friends with Edith. I will see you soon at restaurant.”
“Is there anything else to say beyond everything is delicious? We got a lot of food: honey hot chicken, regular chicken, collard greens, candied yams, macaroni and cheese (my absolute favorite), shrimp tacos, vanilla cake. Every. Single. Thing. Was. Amazing! We’ll definitely be going back!”

“Went for my first visit a few days ago and was blown away by the food and hospitality in this place! They treated me like I knew them for years within my first two minutes through the door and then before I knew it the mother was having me try the loaded fries, chicken, lamb and charged me a hug for the samples! lol The food and my experience were so outstanding that I insisted I brought my wife back for dinner the next night which we were again blown away by the Gyros, loaded fries, and rice bowl! I never write reviews but they exceeded my expectations enough where I'll take the time to give this well deserved review. They've earned our business and we will be customers going forward. Its worth the drive from Westmoreland for us... 👍👍”
“I cannot say enough good things about Joey’s @ 307. From having dinner there for the first time about a year ago, to falling in love with their food and having them cater my wedding, everything they do is amazing. Truly the best chicken parm and chicken marsala I have ever had. They made the entire process easy and stress free (which if you’ve ever planned a wedding you know does not happen often!!). They made sure my husband and I had our own food first to make sure we ate, and made us out own to go meal at the end of the night. Every person I spoke with there was incredibly nice, helpful, and funny! Matt and Kathy helped make our wedding day perfect! Thank you guys again ?”

“We went for a Valentine’s dinner the night after Valentine’s Day. It was great. We got the 5 course Valentine Menu. It was phenomenal. I ordered the strip steak- cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the chicken saltimbocca- fantastic. The whole meal was enjoyable and great service.”
“went for my birthday dinner and the food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were yummy and the staff was very pleasant. I look forward to coming again!”
“The food is always good; it's too bad they took the bread and sauce away. It was my favorite reason to dine there. The servers are pleasant, but they appear to be understaffed sometimes. I made 2 reservations via Open Table this week and have not received the 100 points per visit yet.”

“My family and I loved this little place. Stopped by here on a whim traveling through town, and were pleasantly surprised. Subs, pizza and pasta were all great, and the staff was excellent, especially the front of the house. Inside was small, but clean. Only knock is no public restrooms, but I get why they wouldn't be open. Would definitely recommend this place!”
“Asked if I'd recommend. Well... I didn't want to hit no because maybe it was just an off day with the chef. Everybody has one. Husband enjoyed his Chicken Parmesan, Utica Greens were good (1st time eating them). My Chicken Salvatore was dry and hard. Not enough sauce to even try to soften it up to make the dish enjoyable. Way overcooked. I guess the green beans and mashed potatoes were good. Might go back to see if it was just a fluke. Might not.. who knows.”
“Another fantastic dinner at Nostro! Our 3rd time (We would come more, but we're from CT). Lovely service from Kelly this evening. Very attentive, made good recommendations. We had to get the White Truffle Garlic Bread...Delicious. I went with Spaghetti e Polpette (meatballs). Tasty thick house made spaghetti with a rich pomodoro. The veal meatballs were excellent. Great flavor and super tender. A simple dish that was one of the best I've had. I love Nostro for their focused dishes that don't have to throw the kitchen sink into them to be great. Try the Rigatoni Alla Panna side dish. Amazing! Pair that with their scrumptious Crispy Garlic Brussels Sprouts and your tastebuds will reach nirvana. We finished our meal with the Vanilla Meringue Cake which was fabulous. Just an A+ experience. Thanks Nostro! Wish we lived closer, but we will be back!”
“Not a super great experience, but fine. For an upscale restaurant, I was surprised that they didn't do some fairly basic things. There weren't options for water and they left a single still bottle at the table to refill our glasses ourselves (one of our party did not have use of his hands). The cocktails were fairly good, albeit expensive ($20 for a mid tier liquor, but mixed well). We asked for the wine list halfway through our meal, but the server didn't come back to get the order. We asked a different attendant for an order of two glasses, but that was missed and we ended up asking them to cancel after about twenty minutes. Luckily they did bring us an extra dessert in an effort to make good on them missing the wine order (which was a good shout on their part), though we had asked for the desserts to go -- they missed that too. All in all a fine meal, but incredibly expensive for a mediocre experience. We won't be back, unfortunately.
Wheelchair accessibility: Certainly accessible. There is a wheelchair ramp on the right side as you enter (almost missed it ourselves) and an elevator to bring you to the restaurant.”
“It’s new building beautifully decorated. And just opened food excellent”
“My mom, my sister, my brother, his wife and daughter and my wife and I were looking for a good place for dinner last night and I suggested Gerber's. The last time that my wife and I had been there was pre-pandemic, so it had been awhile. We had a great dinner and incredible service from Joe. Mark, the owner, was gracious and welcoming and his food was excellent. It was a relaxing evening spent in this quaint, local landmark. Great atmosphere and excellent beer selection. We'll be back. Thanks Mark. You continue to do a wonderful job!”

“The Tram is filled with amazingness altogether. if that’s even a word. Whether it be supporting artists of all kinds, out of their passion for art. Or their amazing food and drinks! (best hot chocolate ever, by the way). And kind and hardworking staff! They have created a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for all. Utica is beyond lucky to have a business like them around!!”

“Great little breakfast joint right down off the arterial. Super friendly, and definitely a local favorite. Sit at the counter and talk to Joe while he cooks and you won’t be disappointed. The servings size is great, the bacon is crispy, the home fries are real and the coffee is hot. I’ll be going back!”
“An enjoyable and convenient place to lunch while visiting the Munson Museum in Utica, NY. The food and service are excellent. However, there is considerable museum construction going on adjacent to the outdoor dining area, so for the time being (summer of 2024) it's better to eat inside.”
“We’ve had cookies from Wicked Sweets for holidays but never really tried anything else. I have some restrictions on what I can eat and sugar unfortunately isn’t on the list. Finding a place that offers sugar free is incredibly hard, and when you do find it - it usually is extremely costly and honestly doesn’t taste that great. When my husband’s birthday was coming up I looked around for a place that offered flavors he likes and decided to order from here. I looked over the menu and noticed she offered a couple sugar free flavors! I was excited and ordered right away. When I picked up I expected the price to be high and it was extremely affordable. My husband hasn’t stopped raving about his cake and I couldn’t believe how good the sugar free was. I will definitely be ordering again! My only complaint is she didn’t offer a chocolate cake option, but I managed with vanilla lol. She definitely has gained new regulars in our family! My husband got a boozy cake, and I had gotten a cannoli cake. Highly recommend both!”
“What’s not to like The staff is great The fare is great The location is convenient And The adult beverages are beyond reproach”
“We just had an outstanding Dinner with Appetizers ... huge portions with excellent flavor! Excellent service! Very clean and comfortable We would highly suggest having dinner here, I know we will again!!!”
“Started coming here for wings, while in college , in the early 90’s and I still come back every chance I get. Best wings I’ve ever had and the owners are great!”
“Excellent selection of Eastern European food. The people are very nice. My Ukrainian boyfriend introduced me to this place and I love it. I usually come here for the candy, especially for the holidays. Fair prices too!”
“The cocktails were superb. Both drinks we got were the bartender’s brain child. The atmosphere was hoppin but you still have your privacy. The food was good and filling. Overall it lived up to its name.”
“amazing bar !! amazing set up fits 2x the people keep rocking !! great night !! THANK YOUU !!!”

“Excellent sandwiches and other menu selections. Great atmosphere to meet up with friends. Cons: Food technicians are wearing disposable gloves but fail to change them between customers. Also they are touching their faces, noses one was sniffling like she had a bad cold but blamed it on allergies. And they are not wearing masks while talking not only to customers which is normal but with each other and in this day of RSV FLU SEASON more care needs to be taken when prepping food.”

“The pizza, fries, and garlic bread were all delicious. The staff was very friendly and the overall feel was very comfortable with everyone in a good mood. On top of all that the prices were good as you get alot of food for your money, I'll have leftovers for a while. Thanks again!”

“Food was good for me. Service was slow but waitresses were doing a good job keeping everyone informed and plenty to drink. Atmosphere is good just like others just seemed a little more low key than most.
Parking: Parking close is decent. It's shared with other stores thus parking is everywhere. There is enough parking for 2 or 3 CDL truck and trailers also”
“I grew up in Utica but have since moved away for work. Over the years it's tough to see the family owned buissness you grew up with all slowly go under. Slice is such a breathe of fresh air. The pizza and wings are in my opinion the best in the city and I live in Boston. They rival the best pizza in Boston. Phenomenal food, not Phenomenal for Utica NY but Phenomenal anywhere. We need young people to start as many high quality buissneses in Utica as possible and Slice is the perfect representation of that.”
