“My first time and very satisfied. I ordered pork soup with rice and it is soooooo good!”
“The meat quality is good, the place is clean and modern. The only downside is that they don’t have steam egg option but not a deal breaker.”
“I had never visited a Medieval Times in my life despite growing up near one, and I finally had the opportunity to visit the Buena Park location while visiting Anaheim. This was such a fun and unique experience, and it is suitable for all ages and is a ton of fun regardless of the occasion you're celebrating. The show is entertaining and impressive from start to finish, the food is simple but delicious, and the service is excellent. I did find it a bit tacky that our server came around asking for tips at the end of the show, but I don't know how the servers are compensated so it's possible that they rely on tips.
This is a beautiful venue on the inside, and there is a gorgeous courtyard just outside the building which is a great place to relax and hang out before the show if you get there early. The meal involved tomato soup & Texas toast (garlic bread) to start off with, and then the entree included a seasoned baked chicken leg, halved seasoned baked potato, and a small piece of seasoned corn on the cob. Everyone gets an eclair for dessert, unless you have upgraded to one of the deluxe packages, in which case you also receive a piece of yellow birthday cake with chocolate icing. In my opinion, they give you plenty of food. Soda, coffee, and tea are included in the cost of your ticket, and alcohol can be purchased at an additional cost either before the show or during the show.
Very well worth the price, and I highly recommend for any occasion!”
“It's a simple but very satisfying restaurant! As the name suggests, the main dish is a combination of rice and soup, and the gentle seasoning that brings out the flavors of the ingredients is appealing. We especially recommend the soup rice, which has plenty of ingredients and is perfectly balanced and nutritious. It's filling, but not heavy, and it leaves you feeling warm and warm even after you've finished eating. The inside of the restaurant is clean and has a calm atmosphere, so it's perfect for when you want to have a quick meal by yourself. This is a restaurant that can be recommended for those who are health conscious! Please try it!”

“I brought my sister here for her Bachelorette weekend. We booked the secret room for the evening. We decorated the room, lit some candles, and then one of the hot servers turned out to be the manager, and we had to blow out the candles. They did, however, try to keep our vibe going and brought over some electric candles ✨️
Staff is pretty here, they're all friendly. Bathrooms are interestingly decorated. Boys bathroom has only one room.
The food is WOW. We had steak tartare as a starter, super yum. The French onion soup isn't good. The bourguignon is AMAZING (don't expect it to have noodles). The chicken crepe 😍 The escargot was also delicious. All of the sweets we had were very good - both crème brûle flavors were incredible.
Decor was so cool & very witchy. I recommend having a witch themed-attire to really amp up the energy.
The drinks were creative and tasty. I drank Cerridwen's drink. I didn't realize I loved cherry until then. Their long islands are dangerous ! So watch out.
At some point in the night, Alyssa (our waitress) ran up to tell us that a tarot reader was there. He made the night very interesting and magical.
We made friends in the bathroom, sat down with others at the bar, made more acquaintances, and all the while staff was so much fun and brought the vibe. They made this one of the most memorable nights.
At the end, our responsible friend ushered us outside where we came face-to-face with the manager who had us blow our candles out. We challenged him to a battle... a dance-off. I don't know how many of us did it, but honestly it was ridiculous and amazing. When our Uber arrived, he ensured we were getting in the right vehicle and safe.
The whole night was amazing and we loved how involved/fun the staff was. The whole night felt playful like we were all already friends with everyone there.
Highly recommend. ✨️”

“We’re huge fans of Porto’s, and visiting the Buena Park location is always a must whenever we’re on the West Coast. While we often order online from them, there’s something extra special about experiencing it in person. No matter how many times we’ve been, it never gets old—it’s always a treat.
It can definitely get busy, with lines often stretching outside the door, but the staff has the process down to a science. Every visit we've made between 10 a.m. and noon, we've been lucky—only about a 5-minute wait before placing our order. They move fast, stay organized, and somehow still manage to be friendly and attentive the entire time.
When dining in, they hand you a pager to place on your table, and everything—drinks and food—gets brought right to you. They even come around to clear the tables when you're done, which makes the experience feel that much more relaxed and enjoyable.
This time around we had the Media Noche sandwich, Lechon platter, and plantain chips, plus a good selection of pastries—cheese rolls, guava and cheese strudels, and our personal favorite, the besitos. Everything was flavorful and fresh. The Media Noche was packed with perfectly balanced, melty goodness, the lechon was tender and well-seasoned, and the plantain chips were crispy and addictive.
To drink, we ordered an iced vanilla oat latte and an iced Americano—both of which paired perfectly with our meal and pastries.
If you’re anywhere near Buena Park, Porto’s is worth the detour. The food is consistently excellent, the service is quick and efficient, and there’s something for everyone on the menu. Whether you’re dining in or taking a pastry box to go, you can’t go wrong. We’re already counting down to our next visit!”
“I went here because of all the Instagram reels that showcased their menu and it certainly did not disappoint.
The setting is definitely new to me, so the staff talked to me a little bit about their menu, the differences of each item, the spice levels, the best sellers and personal favorites. I picked 6 items to go, 2 of which I ate in the establishment and the rest I took home. Lemon Pepper Salmon, Grilled Eel, Garlic Butter Crab, Buldak, Creamy Myungran and their Sweet BBQ Gyoro.
They can be eaten by using utensils or even with gloves. I opted for gloves because I just wanted to pick up the whole thing and eat it without being disassembled. They really pack each one and you can taste every flavor they put into it.
There is ample parking and the restrooms are clean. The utensils, napkins and the gloves are also very accessible. Youre free to grab a cup to fill with water and the venue is quite spacious.
Definitely looking into coming back for more.”

“Amazing customer service and great coffee! First time here and will definitely come back. It is also a nice place to come chill and do some work! Shout out to my new barista, Connor, for making this experience a great one ! I got the peanut butter frappe per his recommendation and it was delicious.”

“Genuine Japanese Ramen with rich Miso taste. No other ramen shops serve this taste and only one in SoCal. It’s worth to spend your time to go to this place if you are Ramen Lover! Now they start serving Shio-Ramen (Clear Salt base soup) with Truffle oil flavor. This one is very good, too!”

“How do I start? Oh yeah, friendly staff, efficient service, clean venue and de-lish everything! That about sums it all up... No frills! Just great tasting grub if you're into that sort of thing. Wifey loves the array of deliciousness available but almost always orders waffles! Keep the coffee coming!!!”
“Soooo delicious!! Ordered to-go & took us a little over 20mins to get home & surprisingly my Shaved Iced dessert was still frozen! Very satisfied with how everything tasted. I ordered the Green Tea Snow with Oreos, Strawberries & Popping Boba combination. I loved it. I also ordered the Pistachio & Matcha Green Tea Macarons & the Milk Tea. The Pistachio Macarons & Milk Tea was delicious. Definitely recommend. (Didn’t get to try Jesse’s Breakfast)”
“Tang in Buena Park is a gem for delicious Korean comfort food. Their soups and stews arrive piping hot with rich and authentic flavors. The portions are generous, and every dish feels like home-cooked (just a little more intense flavor). The signature soups are very good. They also wrap the large mandu in house and give very generous filling. Server can speak Korean, English and Chinese!”
“good food and staff friendly with always attentive to us customers. very quick always ready to replenish your plates”
“The food here is delicious! Simply put.
I also like how there isn't a need for waiters here. They have a tablet at each table where you place an order of the items you want and they bring it to you (and rather quickly too). You don't pay on the tablet so it's more like your adding requests for items you want in real time and they bring it to you.
It's nice and peaceful inside and it made it easy to relax as I ate a meal by myself.”

“Love this place! Food was amazing! Service was on point with CJ. Drinks were great! I've been a couple five star steak houses in Las Vegas and the savory peppery prime rib I had blew many of them away. The filet melted in your mouth! The bartender has some serious jedi skills as well. My gin bramble was mixed to perfection. I loved this place the only thing I could really complain about is the bums outside but, if I learned anything from zombieland cardio is number one. Definitely coming back to practice my jujutsi and the filet mignon. Kick ass food and service”
“I stopped by this place during lunch hour, I was recommended th Gamja Tang Lunch special by the waitress how seem to primarily speak Korean (good sign the food is legit). The plate was huge and it came in with plenty of little side dishes, as you can see on the picture.Price was super affordable for all the food I was served. This is the first time I've tried this specific plate, but based on pure taste buds, the food was great and I would love to come back to try the rest of the menu.”
“This place has a really cool vibe! Posh atmosphere except it’s odd that the napkins are small, square, paper cocktail napkins. Anyway, food and service are great. The Bibimbop came with lots of banchan, and the kimchi is as good as oma’s. 5 stars!”
“If you’re craving authentic Korean comfort food, Gamjagol is the place to be! We indulged in their signature Gamjatang—a hearty pork bone soup with tender meat that falls off the bone, rich broth, and perfectly cooked potatoes.
We also enjoyed the Bossam, which are pork slices boiled in a flavorful brine to perfection and served with cabbage. The combination of the tenderness of the meat and strong flavors was delightful!
The generous portions and authentic flavors combined with the amazing service truly made our dining experience memorable. If you’re in the Buena Park area, don’t miss out on this cozy hidden gem!”
“My family & I love this place! The food is delicious & they have kim chi fried rice & other items some place don’t offer. The staff is also super nice & you get free delicious ice cream! We’ve eaten at other places & it doesn’t come close to here . The price is so good in comparison too!”
24 Hour Restaurants
“it was a Sunday morning and before getting there before stepping inside, we could see that there was a line. We came to find out how long the wait would be the attendant said it would be 510 minutes. It ended up being more like an hour for a party of two. very disappointed at the fact that they said five or 10 minutes but it’s understandable food here is better than average, and the service is the best part. They are very friendly and took care of everything quickly. Besides the wait time everything else was better than average. I do recommend this place when they do not have a line. The location is small and it seems like often times it’s always overpacked. This is a four star location. In my opinion I will eat here again if I don’t have to wait so long.”
“Just left this location. Staff is great service is good. Even when they have an ignorant as customer demanding them to have their stuff ready the instant it’s ordered &when it’s not the customer wants to negotiate getting more than what they paid. The staff definitely has patience.”
“This restaurant reminded me of Seattle's "The Pike Place Fish Market," where fresh fish has been sold for decades as employees playfully throw fish around. Though this place has been open for 10 years, we were unaware of its existence. Situated in a humble shopping center with a modest square footage, you would never imagine the quality of service and Korean food it offers. When we checked in, the restaurant was nearly full, and the busyness and energy of the staff expressed their confidence and pride in their reputation.
We were first served water, and the waitstaff's recommendations already impressed us with the promise of quality and taste. We ordered Braised Black Cod, and SsamJjang Vegetables wrap combination with Spicy Marinated Pork, and Bean Casserole for the three of us to share. The fresh lettuce and vegetables, including green pepper, cucumber, carrots, wild sesame leaves, and steamed cabbage, arrived first. We also had a choice between white rice and mixed grain rice, opting for the healthier option.
The presentation and quantity of the food and side dishes were attractive and impressive. When the Spicy Pork arrived, we could already tell it would taste great. The Bean Casserole was also delicious. The awaited Braised Black Cod, which they were very proud of, came last. We didn’t have to wait long to encounter one of the restaurant's most popular dishes. The combination of quantity, quality, and taste was outstanding, although it was a little too sweet for one of us. The Black Cod melted in our mouths, and the tofu and radish were incredibly flavorful. We called this kind of food 밥도둑 (Thief of Rice) because it kept making us eat more rice. We were very full and ended up taking the leftovers home. The service was excellent.
There might be many people who have never visited this restaurant, but there are likely few who have only been here once. We plan to come back to try other menu items next time. Strongly recommended.
Parking: The restaurant parking at the back could be challenging when restaurant is full.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Although the food menu is not extensive, the restaurant is famous for its delicious food. Korean hangover soup is probably the best in the OC area. It may be a very simple food, but it has a rich taste and a good feel. In Korea, having soup and a glass of soju with friends is a small culture.”

“These corn dogs were delicious! I was visiting the area and stumbled across this place. The corn dogs were so good; I went two days in a row and purchased 2 corn dogs each time. The dipping sauces are great. The texture and coating are just right; not too much and not too little. I only wish there was one in VA.”
“Very friendly staff. All the dishes we tried were very yummy. For to go, they use separate containers for each item, which is a plus, imo. Our favorites are the lechon kawali (deep fried pork with crunchy skin) and pancit. They have two kinds of pancit (pan fried noodles), both are equally delicious. Generous servings and affordable prices.”

“Ordered a seafood pancake to go. Was delicious with the dipping sauce. Their pancake is thicker than what I usually get from korean bbq spots but was still good. They also gave me their sides (banchan) for free even though they don’t usually do for that dish. The staff are a bunch of sweet Korean ladies, love the energy!”

“Ig: socalhkfoodies
authentic but morden Korean food experience🇰🇷🍚❤️
The decor mixes old traditional style with modern touches — like a cool robot server that feels very futuristic.
The food is really authentic, especially the sizzling rice, tofu soup, and galbi. 😋
We ordered 3 combos, and people of all ages really enjoyed them!”
“Full menu Arby's, now with hashbrowns back, even better than before.
Locked bathrooms, neighborhood is just okay, parking is a little tight. Cashier will give you the current code for the bathrooms.
But the food was good.
They also have a drive-thru if you prefer.
Enjoy!”
“VERY DISAPPOINTING THAT THEY ONLY OFFER THREE ASSORTMENT OF VEGGIES (BROCCOLI, CABBAGE, CARROT) FOR THE VEGGIE PHO. IT WOULD BE IDEAL AND EXCELLENT IF IT CAME WITH MUSHROOM AND BOK CHOY. ALSO, DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY DON'T OFFER VEGGIE SPRING NOR VEGGIE EGG ROLLS (GROUND TOFU WOULD BE NICE). OTHER THAN THAT EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AMBIENCE.”

“This is a hidden gem among the other korean reseaurants/businesses in this area. Both their ramen and udon are very good. I can't believe I've never been here when I was growing up in Southern California. I don't live in this area anymore, but it's always nice to come back from time to time. This reseaurant also has a really nice music playlist.”
“As a small business owner myself, I often entertain family and potential clients with gatherings at our Ocean Breeze Living Board and Care. I have used Supreme Pizza several times. Everyone LOVES it! Freshly made to order, with what I call their secret red sauce. I do not usually like red sauce, but I love theirs.
Great family owned business, with excellent personal service.”
“I visited on Saturday, May 17, 2025, just after 5 PM to buy donuts. I was disappointed that my favorite flavor was sold out, but the young employee’s warm smile and kind service convinced me to buy other donuts. The girl wearing a hat, who looked like a student, greeted every customer with a smile, which was wonderful to see. If the owner reads this, that employee deserves a raise!”
“The bakery was well stocked with an awesome variety of bread from conchas to empanadas, elotes, cake, flan... so much to choose from. They also have drinks, candy, and Mexican chips, champurrado, and many more things. They are super nice and friendly. I live a couple of cities away but will definitely make the trip even though there are a few bakeries near me.”
“No wait on a Thursday night for 4 people. We ordered the medium sashimi platter that came with a ton of sides, tuna sashimi and uni pasta. Everything was delicious and the variety made us feel like we were at a buffet. The staff is so friendly and sweet here.”
“Lol! We are here every week and the owner always treat us like they never saw us!”

“Only complaints ...We did not get seated in the area reserved. The restaurant was not crowded and still understaffed or slow. The food was excellent and brought back memories of my childhood. Visiting from Ohio, I have frequented the restaurant a number of times on vacation since childhood. Mrs. Knotts' chicken dinner did not disappoint and was very filling. My wife had the pot pie and loved it. A highlight everyone in the party had excellent boysenberry flavored cocktails. In an era of small plates and picture perfect mini meals, Mrs. Knotts' delivered a traditional and tasty homestyle meal. My memories with family over the years came crashing back at first bite.”
