If you're a fan of tteokbiki then this place elevates that experience.
From the customization and selection, it was a delicious experience .
If I had a choice between fried chicken and tteokbiki ( they sell both) i would normally eat more chicken.
But in this instance, I kept going back for tteokbiki more and more, completely forgetting the chickens existence.
This isn't do downgrade the chicken, the chicken was absolutely delicious, but I kept going back for more rice cakes.

I'm from Ohio, and the closest we have is Five Guys, and this blows them out of the water! My wife is the local, so I followed her lead and had burgers and fries animal style! Everything was DELICIOUS! Thanks to everyone at the location! Everyone was very genuinely cheerful and nice! (went through at 11:00am, Sep 4th 2023)”

“We stumbled upon Riveras after completion of a swim meet. Not being from this area (we are from Edmonton Canada) we decided to take a chance. So glad we did. 2 hungry teenage boys with us we filled up on various tacos and chips and guacamole. Everything was beyond delicious and filling. I have been craving fish tacos since we hit the border. I was not disappointed! So yummy. Service was fast and friendly and price was great. Definitely make your way to Riveras Fresh Tacos. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere made the experience unique. Being able to enjoy breakfast while watching the activity around the airport was something my kids and I really enjoyed. The omelets, eggs, and hash browns were delicious, and the portions were generous.
As an added bonus, there was a classic car show taking place during our visit, which made the day even more memorable.

“I've ordered food to-go and dined in at this location. I ordered sushi and ramen to-go and it was good. The ramen was surprisingly hot for a long while. The tempura was great and everything was packaged well and kept warm/hot even after I got home and began eating it.
We had dinner here after going to the axe throwing place close by and were seated right away. They're open late and we ordered multiple sushi rolls for the table and were delightfully full. I enjoyed the Jessica Alba roll and would get it again in the future. Parking is doable but it gets pretty packed at night and on the weekends so it may take a few extra minutes but I'm always able to find parking in less than 10 minutes. Would recommend for a solid Japanese dinner in a casual setting with friends or family.”

It's fairly close to my house. The guy that served me was Chris and he was very nice and friendly. I will recommend this place to my family and friends. I only go in the morning/afternoon for lunch and the food is always great and the portions are always generous. The staff even better. The menu is not ridiculously vast but can certainly cater to anyone’s appetite. The decor is like an upscale unassuming sports bar and the patio dining space offers a view of the most charming streets in Downtown Fullerton.
If you’re there around noon on a weekday- you will probably see the most adorable little white dog with sleepy stoner eyes and a tail in shape of a question mark. The dog walks around with a certain heartbreaking cute nonchalance.”

“I had gotten the chicken ginseng soup and although the wait was a bit long, it was definitely worth the wait. They packaged up the food so well and gave side dishes such as rice, kimchi, spicy fish cake and etc.The soup was a life changing experience, it was like soothing to my core and left me feeling fulfilled. My emotions were calm after eating the soup. In the soup. There was a whole small chicken and stuffed with dates, and rice. The rice inside the chicken became almost creamy like congee and was the star of the show, to me. The chicken was tender and light on my stomach and the side dishes paired well with the entire meal. I look forward to coming back to this restaurant and trying more dishes.”

Since each portion of rice is cooked individually in its own stone pot, the rice itself tastes incredible.
After scooping the rice out, you pour water over the scorched rice at the bottom; by the time you finish your main meal, you get to enjoy a warm rice tea (sungnyung) for dessert.
Drinking the sungnyung really soothes and settles your stomach. The side dishes are also super fresh and they keep refilling them,

Their Texas toast is only toasted on one side which makes the bite mushy. For me their coleslaw needs to be blended more. The fries are so so. This is just my own opinion.”

There was a good amount of chicken in my enchiladas. The beans and rice were yummy. The carne asada fries were equally as good. My sister said the torta tasted good but there was hardly any meat and beans or topping on her torta. We'd definitely go back. If you haven't tried the Ubu, or you're weirded out by it, it's time to dive in and give it a try. Soft tofu skin, nice cool rice, and a heaping pile of your favorite filling. Honestly, they give you enough filling for two Ubus, easily. And it's delicious.
If you just want to pop in for a bowl of instant Ramyun, you cook it yourself on an EZ Cook, which is kinda fun. Plus, instant Ramen with an Ubu on the side for $10 is an unbeatable deal, right now.”
