“We have been going to Heirloom Pizza a few times a year for a while now and have always enjoyed great food and good service. This was until last night. The food was still delicious and the server was good. That was the limit of a good experience. The hostess had a look that we were bothering her by wanting to eat there. We arrived about 7pm and they were busy, but it only took about 10 minutes to be seated. We ordered fairly quickly and then waited for over 50 minutes to have an appetizer to reach our table and another 25 minutes for our main dish. By the time we received our appetizer the restaurant had only 5-6 tables with people still sitting. We understand that it takes a little longer for a deep dish pizza, but well over an hour in unacceptable. In the 50 minutes we saw no less than a dozen or so orders go out the door for pickup orders. I understand they sell pizza and there is likely a large amount of business that doesn't come an stay to eat, but we felt forgotten. If we choose to go back, maybe we should order before arriving.”

“This is an experience you should not pass on. So far this is the best Chinese restaurant we have eaten at in Salinas, CA. Limited parking. Staff is friendly and attentive.
Wonton soup was flavorful with soft wonton. The chow mein noodles were soft and chewy (not for everyone) but the flavor was amazing. The fried rice did not have peas and carrots in it, as it should be. They did use green onions. The fried prawns were crunchy and non greasy but hot, same with the egg rolls. The sweet and sour pork was had hand dipped quality and cooked. The breading on the outside was not traditional like what you would find at a buffet. They seem to take pride in the food they serve and it shows. We will be going back as this is a place that is save on our phone and in our stomachs.”

“Every single time I go to this restaurant, the food is excellent! Ana is the best server! My family and extended family love, love, love everything we have tried. My current favorite is Hunan Beef. The Singapore Rice Noodles are great, eggplant, every variation of rock cod, Peking pork… They can vary any dish to your liking. The lunches are a good deal, enough food for two meals for me. However, going with my family and getting a variety of dishes is what we like the best. Usually there are six to eight of us and we get to eat all of our favorites.”

It seems like a family business so the entire experience was homely. Definitely recommend it.”

“I got the birra torta here and two tacos al pastor. The tacos were good but the torta was surprisingly delicious upon first bite due to the quality of the birria. The overall taste profile at this location is balanced and deep, meaning it is well-seasoned and flavorful without being excessive or greasy. It is food that can be eaten every day without feeling overloaded. It is also at a very nice location next to a park and lots of trees.
I randomly met the owner one day prior at an unrelated place, and I can see that there is a reason he confidently invited me to try his food, where his lovely wife operates the business and cooking! It is because he knows he can deliver a great food experience! Through word of mouth, I know that I am not the only one who liked the torta here.
There is quite an extensive menu, and I will definitely be back to try more items. I highly recommend the birria. Overall a great spot!”
“Taking a road trip up the coast and I finally got to stop here and eat/drink after enjoying some of their beers at home. It did not disappoint! Food was delicious, service in the beer garden was great, and as always the beer was on point. Had the Paloma Pizzazz which is good if you like grapefruit and their guest beer the Muddlin Forte was sooo good. The only negative was they were out of all their large t-shirts so I'll just have to go shopping online. Hope to be in the area again soon to try some more things.”

Literally the best Hawaiian barbecue I’ve ever been to. Their pasta salad is incredible. I wish I could order 20 containers. The crab Rangoon‘s were really good and both the Hawaiian barbecue plate and barbecue chicken plate were incredible.

Our group LeTip of Carmel had them come over and provide the food and beverages for our mixer this week and I think it was one of the most fun events we’ve ever had. “We had an okay experience at Avatar Indian Grill.
The food tasted really good and came out hot, although there was a bit of a wait before receiving it. We also enjoyed the mango lassi during our visit.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and you can smell the spices as soon as you walk in, which adds to the experience.
One issue we did have was with service regarding drinks. I asked for water on two separate occasions but never ended up receiving it.
Overall, the food and atmosphere were enjoyable, though the service felt a little inconsistent at times.”

“I lived in Salinas many years ago, discovered Eva's Cafe by accident and was truly overwhelmed with the food. the atmosphere, and the service. So much so that I brought my friends at every opportunity. I left the area for about 15 years and upon my return, the first chance I got, returned to Eva's. I was so pleased they were still there and again bring my friends over and over. I have traveled the world in my career and can say with honesty Eva's has the best Mexican food on the planet.”

“I like this place and will return. Quick and easy to go in and grab an order to-go. I was even offered chips and salsa while I waited. The food was delicious. I could have used a bigger portion for the cost. The refried beans were kind of watery but maybe itll be different the next time I give them a try. “We recently went to Wing Stop after over 6 months of not trying it. One new thing I noticed and liked was their digital board that shows the progress of your order. Super helpful knowing when your food is coming out instead of just waiting around wondering or having to go to the counter and ask. We ordered the 30 piece meal with 2 drinks and spent $56.89, which honestly felt a bit pricey, but the food was mostly good. We got the Original Buffalo wings, Honey Hot Rub, and Boneless Lemon Pepper. The meal also came with fries and veggies, but we substituted the veggies with the mini corn instead, which was a pleasant surprise that was an option. I am happy the cashier mentioned we could substitute the sides.
The wings were mostly delicious overall. The Honey Hot Rub wings had a really good flavorful coating, but the flavor didn't go all the way into the wing like the others did. The Original Buffalo and Lemon Pepper definitely had more flavor throughout, so we will probably stick with our favorites next time. The fries are honestly some of my favorite fast food fries. They are crispy on the outside, soft inside, and not cut too thin, which is the way I prefer my fries. The ranch is also really good for dipping the fries and wings. I did notice this visit the ranch seemed a little more runny than I remember.
Overall, I love our go to wing flavors, extra enjoy the French fries and the ranch! We do enjoy treating to Wingstop once in a while. We will definitely be back!”
