“The pizza was to die for — we had the margarita pizza — thin crust and sauce delicious. We had the artichoke burrata appetizer which was delicious too. The area where the restaurant is located is very cool. Enjoyable all the way around.”
“Farmhouse kitchen is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever had. On top of the food being great and delicious, the presentation makes you want to order everything from the menu. Chef Bo was so nice to come out to our table and all I can say is she was a very nice, young & talented person. She even made me a special dessert for my birthday. Thanks Bo❤️ I highly recommend this place if you want an authentic, excellent and delicious food. In addition, the place is so full of life. The decor is amazing! I can’t wait to go back and try some of the fancy drinks and dishes on the menu.”

“Just an amazing taste! You have to try it when as soon you visit Long Beach 🏝”
“Simply the best birria and pollo tacos around. I recommend the plate with birria or the burrito with chicken, my favorite choices. Must have the churros with dulce de leche sauce, so good.”
“Very clean, fresh and delicious! We will definitely come back! People are polite and it’s a great environment to relax while enjoying delicious Spanish dishes.”

“The only problem I had was PARKING. Loved everything else . They even have a acai mini size bowl .. And the sell skin wellness products. I thought that was awesome.”
“been coming here since 2014 food is great staff is great very friendly the service is always on point I highly recommend Gus's Drive-In family friendly environment breakfast is delicious as well as lunch and dinner 💯💯💯💯💯”
“I would recommend my family and friends to eat at HotBox Burger they have fresh buns fresh food most of the menu that I go through and order from them I give them five stars delicious food healthy to the tummy if you haven't had this food yet you need to get some trust me you won't miss out I promise you that your stomach will be happy after you eat a meal from here!!!”
“Amazing takeout family meal which features the most flavorful and delicious Char Siu Wagyu Short Rib with fluffy bao. All side dishes are well executed and delectable. One of the best staying at home meals I’ve had! Highly recommend it!”

“Was super happy with our dinner at Hippo. Every dish was delicious. The brussel sprouts and cauliflower starters had excellent flavors. All the pastas we tried had incredible depth of flavor without being overly heavy or greasy. The hippo rolls and table focaccia were excellent and the chicken thighs were to die for. Only thing that was lackluster was the passion fruit gelato. Fun vibe, lots of seating, and great service!”
“We had a wonderful time. We kicked off my hubby's birthday with great food, wonderful vibes and incredible service!! My husband could not stop raving about the eggs! We literally came back for the biscuits. I hate that I don't remember our waitresses name because she was so sweet and attentive. She was also kind enough to bring us a complimentary round of champs and mimosas!! This is our second time coming in and the service is not only consistent, it keeps getting better!”

“I went to the Tonchin location in New York late last year, so I came into the Los Angeles location excited and with high expectations. The food was good overall. My wife did not quite understand the hype around it, but I personally thought it was solid, even though it did not stand out as much as the New York location.
Where the difference between the two locations stood out the most was in customer service. We had to wait nearly twenty minutes just to receive the check, and throughout the meal the server rarely came by to check on us. Because of this, the overall experience at the Los Angeles location fell short of what I experienced in New York.
I do recommend the regular tonkotsu ramen and the buns”
“So good!!! Amazing. Love the food. The bok choy pot stickers OOOF! The best. 💜💜💜👑👑👑🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽💞💞💞💝💝👨❤️👨🧡”
“The staff was very friendly and provided good service. The food was delicious. My only complaint was that the ambient music started at a reasonable volume and progressively got louder and louder to the point where I nearly had to yell across the table. For the record, we were seated at 6 PM and finished at 7:30 PM”
Outdoor Dining
“Tonight we, my husband and I, with our dear friends, the Crays, dined at Tomat for the first of what will be many times. The restaurant features a dining room and a roof top patio. A welcoming, comfortable space. The staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable about all menu items. Our server Miley took excellent care of us throughout dinner and dessert. She assisted us with choosing items that would pair well with each other. She was never too busy to stop to see if everything was to our liking. She brought the chef to our table so we could let him know personally how much we enjoyed his creations. He gave us a bit of background on his plan of sustainability and creativity for his restaurant. The food was amazing. We had several appetizers. The tuna carpaccio was amazing, light and dark tuna with the freshest tomatoes. The welsh rarebit was so delicious. The weiser melon with strawberry kimchi was a delicious surprise. The house milled saffron rice was amazing. Our mains did not disappoint. The trout and chips were excellent. Everyone at the table said “best trout we have ever had”. The vegetable chips were outstanding. The vaca vieja ribeye was perfectly cooked. The pork three ways with chamoy was also perfectly cooked. Dessert was madelines, warm from the oven, with the strawberry sorbet and the saffron ice cream. All were outstanding. Overall, this was a fabulous dining experience. Great food with great service in such a comfortable atmosphere. And, we have already made reservations for next month!”
“A tiny Portuguese restaurant in cypress park owned by a really nice guy, Mike Santos. Now it is small, but it is great. It is always super clean and they have great Portuguese food. We just love it. Whenever we are near there we stop for dinner.
You can make reservations or just walk in. It is not usually too long a wait. There is a lot of comfortable outdoor seating which is great. They play great music and now and again they have live music.
Their bread is the best. I could just have that and be happy, but I always get their pork because it is just perfect.
Start with their WEISER FARMS SUGAR CUBE MELON. It is so tasty.
Their ARROZ DE PATO CONFIT DUCK LEG, with BOMBA RICE, SOFRITO, CHORIZO, and DUCK CRACKLINGS are so good and they give you a large portion. You can share or take extra home. Their SUMMER EGGPLANT, with SCALLOP VINAIGRETTE, AGED CHEESE and PEPITAS, SUNGOLD TOMATO is so good.
There is nothing you will not like. They have nice selection of beer and port as well. Have fun.”
“Wonderful experience. The chef was friendly and entertaining and prepared the most beautiful omakase for us. I keep ingredients- kosher and the chef was easily able to create a menu of only fish with fins and scales for me on advance request. He was careful about cross contamination too.”
“Conrad the owner knows what he is doing here. He deserves ⭐. I hope he gets one day.
Food is top tier and his choice to bring the food to you and in order so you get perfect temperature is subtle and appreciated.
Made to order tortillas should be the standard.
I'm just upset I didn't find this place sooner and it was so good. I almost forgot to take a pic of the tacos 🌮”
“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.”
“One of my favorite places, everything they do is well executed, and the staff are equally kind and personable. My last experience in particular where I ate at the bar was oddly especially warm and welcoming, where I got to chat with a really cool staff member named Reed, who apparently not only makes the drinks, but bakes delicious cookies they currently serve with one of their cocktails (The Hot Toddy, if you're curious).
It's also some of the best tongue meet (on the Skewers section) that I've ever had; if you're a fan, I highly recommend getting one of those at minimum!”

“Came for wine and snacks before a bigger dinner, but I’d love to come back for a full meal because what we had was so good. Highly recommend the Caesar tartare (perfect crunch to the bread, plus it is pre-cut into bite size chunks) and lobster rilette.
Cute vibe inside with center bar and cozy dining room seating.”
“Sawa is easily a top-10 restaurant in my opinion. The chef deserves a star. The entire experience went beyond my expectations, truly outstanding. I had so much fun dining there; the environment is friendly, and every bite was delicious. The host was spectacular, especially for suggesting we split the sake pairing, for someone who doesn’t drink much, it was more than enough. I’m already looking forward to coming back.”
“We have been going to Horses ever since they opened since it’s right in our neighborhood. The most friendly staff with a big shout out to Amanda. The most amazing craft cocktails and absolutely delicious food. I think we’ve almost tried everything on the menu and have not been disappointed once. Can be hard to get a reservation, but we usually get there at 5:15 and are able to sit at the bar with no problem.”
“Good Japanese foods , many varieties of dishes . The fish grilled sea bass is cooked just perfectly fine . The salad is kinda american Japanese fusion but still good . The carbonara noodle - I don’t really care (It doesn’t really fit with the rest of the dishes) - overall is a great place to enjoy Japanese foods”
“Lot of great things to say about this place! Just walking up to the restaurant is an experience in of itself with all the bright and vibrant colors coupled with great lighting and then the flavors starting hitting the nose to let you know you're in the right spot and the nose doesn't lie...it WAS the right spot. Ordered the Coconut Limeade which was STUPID GOOD, the Oxtail & Peppers Patty and the Honey Jerk Chicken comb which I subbed one side for the tostones and that was the best of presents I could've gave to myself because they were crazy delicious and also reminded me of an ex which twas a whole OTHER experience in of itself. Everything was seasoned well and each item complemented the other but and yes, buuut since we're in Hollywood, the starlet of this whole show, the chicken, wasn't all the way ready for the stage...the lower half had a mushy consistency while the upper thigh was just fine; it was strange and really bummed me out because it was close to a $50 takeout dinner and was almost 5 stars. Anywho, stuff happens but it took the motivation of me being a returning customer althoooough if I stare at the roti long enough, that could choice could very well change who knows. Stay up!”
“First of all, best thing that’s happened to Silverlake. Incredible food and just such a positive vibe. We love harmony, ask for her if you come. She walked us through the menu and guided us to order the best things ever.”
“5 stars for the delicious and high quality sushi. plus i have a gluten allergy and the chef/ server was super considerate and knew exactly what needed to be modified. my favorites were the bluefin tuna nigiri and the yellowtail hand roll (with soy paper), and i don’t typically like yellowtail.
however, i did not realize there was a 16% service fee included in the bill. it says so on the menu so that’s my oversight but at kazu nori, for example, the server tells you not to tip because of the service fee. so on the little screen i tipped 20% on top of the 16% service fee and tax. it’s my bad for not paying closer attention but they don’t verbally tell you either.”

“One of if not the best Korean restaurants I been to. Food came out real fast and was very filling and tasted great! Service was amazing, Ken really did a great job in helping to serve us, helped with giving us recommendations, brought extra side dishes quickly, and was very nice & funny as well! Will definitely be back for more!”
“Ice Cream Occasions was such a fun and unique addition to our event! The ice cream cart looked great and added a nostalgic touch, and the selection of treats was perfect. The staff was super friendly and made everything really easy, from booking to setup. It definitely made the day feel extra special, and I’d totally recommend them for any party or event.”
“Norms is the kind of place that reminds you why diners still matter. The bacon? Crispy. Like, perfectly engineered, science-approved crispy. The people? Friendly in that effortless, genuine way that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time through the door. It’s hands-down a better option than Denny’s or IHOP — better food, better service, and none of that “sad pancake at 2 a.m.” energy. It’s the kind of diner that actually feels alive. My only gripe? Pepsi products. I get it, contracts are contracts, but I’m a Coke person and this one hurts a little. Still, when the bacon’s this good and the coffee keeps coming, it’s hard to stay mad for long. Four stars. Swap Pepsi for Coke and we’d be talking five.”
“Went here for breakfast recently and the food was good and the service was prompt. But what really impressed me was I used the restroom and the soap dispenser was empty. I informed the manager and he not only refilled the soap dispenser but brought over to the table a big bottle of hand sanitizer for my hands which was truly impressive. I consider that a true act of thoughtfulness. Thank you!”
“This place is hands down the best! I come here often, and my go-to order is the Nacho Fries, Nacho Chips, Quesadilla, and Tacos. Every single item is consistently delicious and packed with flavor.
The Nacho Fries are perfectly crispy and the Quesadilla is always cheesy and satisfying. If you’re looking for authentic and tasty food, this is the spot! I’m a loyal customer and will keep coming back for more. Highly recommended!”
“Such Wonderful atmosphere, food and coffee! 💖🎉🥳 They also have a super sweet display of gourmet treats!!! 🤩”
“What an amazing experience at Meteora. I absolutely loved the atmosphere, the aesthetics of the decor, the service and the food. This was my second time here as I came shortly after they opened years ago and this time around was a delight. This immersive space is worth the reservation alone. It's so pretty and innovative. The ambience is so warm and welcoming. The manager is amazing as he was very attentive in meeting our request for specific seating. The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable about each entree. The wine pairing was perfect. I do have one critique regarding the meal. The Japanese Yam dish was served charred. I have a very refined palate and I could tell immediately that it wasn't charred but rather burnt. I could not eat the yam as it was quite bitter. Other than this hiccup, the meal was delicious. I truly enjoyed my second visit and will definitely return as well as recommend Meteora to friends and clients.”
Takeout Restaurants
“A really wonderful dining experience! The food is so creative while maintaining integrity to both Thai and Japanese cuisines. It was really fun to be all seated at the bar for the Autumn kaiseki menu. The sommelier was so fun and friendly and recommended not only incredible wines, but bonus sake tastings well. it's the kind of place that does a fixed menu, but you wanna keep going back because it rotates and everyone's so friendly a perfect blend of upscale and Neighbourhood vibe..”
“The staff was very friendly and provided good service. The food was delicious. My only complaint was that the ambient music started at a reasonable volume and progressively got louder and louder to the point where I nearly had to yell across the table. For the record, we were seated at 6 PM and finished at 7:30 PM”
“I’m not really a bagel person, so consider me a tough critic.
… but I don’t think I see a need to order bagels from anywhere else on DoorDash?
Except for when I want the cucumber bagel from Honey Donuts (yes).
Honestly, if I were more of a bagel person on the reg I’d give it 5 stars.
My favourite topping that I’ve tried so far is by FAR the egg salad… then the lox with cream cheese. The #8 I could honestly live without, but I can see it fitting a specific mood.”
“Nice vibes, convenient location with easy parking, beautiful decor. Service was lacking, but understand there is a labor shortage right now, perhaps that's to blame here. Bodega sando was perfection! Pastries were alright...most looked better than they tasted. I'd say they were good but not great.”

“Excellent! Totally lives up to the hype. Every dish we had was delicious but the salmon sushi, sweet potatoes and salmon collar were the standouts for me. Only thing I think they could work on is the space— tables set between breaks in the booth, air conditioning that turns the food cold quickly, blindingly bright neon lights. It could just be a bit more comfortable. Still, highly recommend!”
“Fabulous staff here with very affordable prices on food AND drinks! The new happy hour now starts at 2pm EVERY DAY till 8pm!!!! Love the upgrade draft beer options to a boom sh size for only $3 more!!!! Great new local neighborhood bar. Fantastic games room with something for everyone.”
“I waited a year to come here from the east coast, and it was worth the wait. From the food to the atmosphere, I felt like I was in another dimension with the unique take on regional cooking styles to the sound quality of the music. You could taste the freshness in the ingredients — even the cheese in the dessert was clearly homemade and freshly made. This is such a unique and special place. Thank you for a wonderful experience. This was the best food I had in a long time.”
“All the food was outstanding. The raw fish and seafood was unbelievably fresh and aptly paired with elevated fresh flavors. The tostadas reminded me of Contramar in Cdmx, but even better (dare i say).
The atmosphere is beautiful, has a massive garden space, scattered lighting, copious succulents. It feels like an escape right in LA. The service is warm, personable, efficient.
Definitely worth the trip and such a great find.”
“The best place for an incredible night out in LA!
As soon as we parked the smell of the outdoor grill hit us. We knew we were in for something special.
We were sat immediately with a reservation, and had the best service. Mike was our waiter and was everything you want in a server and more. He was present but not overly so, he knew his wines well, and was clearly very passionate about the food. He’s service absolutely made our night!
The food was the only thing that overshadowed Mike’s excellence, every bite was divine.
We shared the hummus toast, zucchini, Japanese, sweet potato, Shishito peppers. And for mains enjoyed a chicken skewer, lamb chops, and ribeye.
The lamb was seasoned and cooked perfectly, being my best bite of the night, but the chicken skewer won the hearts of the larger group.
We finished off with their chocolate cake which was perfectly gooey in the center.
There is so much more I would come back for. The atmosphere was just spectacular! Beautiful outdoor seating area, suitable for larger groups or small tables. Good music and great vibes.
All in all I’m just upset that I didn’t come try this place sooner. Definitely going to be a staple of mine moving forward.
If you go ask for Mike (Big Chicago Bears fan). You’re in the best hands with him!”

“Truly an unmatched dining experience for us. Everything is worth it. I wish I had remembered that we could bring our own sake/wine for a corkage fee, but the sake we had there was wonderful. It's amazing to see so much of the hard work that goes into the art of making delicious omakase up close, and the chefs make you feel welcome and special from the first moment.”
“En Petit Trois, la cocina habla por sí sola. Tanto la hamburguesa como el pescado destacan por una técnica precisa y una ejecución impecable, donde cada elemento está en perfecto equilibrio; dos platillos memorables, difíciles de jerarquizar. Aunque no fue posible degustar la coctelería debido a la política de requerir pasaporte físico para el servicio de alcohol, la propuesta gastronómica se sostiene con absoluta solidez. Una experiencia sobria, bien lograda y digna de repetirse.”
“This might be the best restaurant in LA. The service was phenomenal from start to finish. Our waiter was bright, engaged when needed, and provided everything we needed. Great ambiance with this nice, lo-fi synth.
But the best part about this place is the food. This is some of the best food in LA, if not the best. We got the shishito peppers and crispy rice, handrolls, sea bass and steak, eggplant, and cheesecake. Everything was fantastic. Perfectly timed out of the kitchen. Every dish bursted with flavors that complimented each other. The dessert wasn't too sweet. The Kitsune is also an incredible old fashioned.”
“Went here last night with some friends who raved about this place, and it did not disappoint! We asked our server, Mickey, to bring us her favorites, with wines chosen by Rachel, our sommelier. The quality of the food, wine pairings and service rank among the best I've experienced -- and I say that having dined at Central in Lima, Peru (#1 restaurant in South America and #2 in the world) in 2022. An amazing meal!!”

“I really want to give it five stars and I may come again in the future. The food is great, to be honest, the pork shoulder and mushroom rice is enough.”

“Villa's Tacos were amazing! and I'm not saying this just because of the hype of the Super Bowl. I'm saying this because I mean it. The tacos were just amazing to me. Not your regular everywhere tacos. These tacos were homemade recipes. I had the carne asada, pork with potato (puerco con papa) & beans with cactus (frijoles con nopal). It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. I truly enjoyed every minute of my visit here. Thank you Villa's Tacos, we will return.”

“Open Market catered a wedding reception I was coordinating in October, and they were wonderful. Their restaurant is one of the bride's favorites, and they were great. The food is delicious, and I'm working on getting my husband over there soon. They couldn't have been more accommodating and flexible during the planning, and they were straight pros at the reception. As a planner, I love caterers that are easy to work with and easy for my couple's to work with, and it was a great experience for everyone.

Vegetarian options: Delicious!
Dietary restrictions: We didn't have a lot of them, but they did create delicious vegetarian meals for the guests who needed it.”
“The little plates are yummy. I love the pita bread that came with the hummus (Salatim plate). The other plates were good also. I loved the bread pudding (I think it's better than the best cake). What I like the most about Bacari, besides the beautiful ambiance, is the friendliest staff.”

“Atmosphere was great! Service was fabulous. Drinks were tasty! Margarita Pizza lacked cheese but the Sweet Cheeks was amazing 🤩.”
“Honestly can’t recommend this place enough if you’re British and in La it’s an absolute must! Great Sunday roast but also loads of other superb options on the menu! Would highly recommend to anyone interested!”

“Food was better than I expected!! We ordered tuna belly, sooo delicious😋 I was looking forward the Foccacia, it did not disappoint. The bread was so air and light. The pizza was exceptional. Their Italian beer was crisp. I will be definitely returning.”
“The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve👍👍”
“This sushi place is the best in town.
Raw tuna has an absolutely superb taste. It’s of great quality and has a high turnover rate, ensuring that you can always enjoy fresh sushi. However, one unfortunate aspect is that we don’t take reservations, which means we have to wait for at least 20 minutes.”
“Straight 🔥🔥🔥
1. Quality meat
2. Fresh
3. Delicious
4. Great customer service
Quite impressed. Will be back.”
“This place is a true gem and I love shopping there for all my sushi and Japanese food and sake amazing selection and excellent service! If you enjoy fresh sushi fish that are reasonably priced then you most definitely must check out this gem!!! Also they teach lessons that sell out quickly so you must sign up for their monthly news email that gives you so much information about all that they do!”
“Our family had an excellent meal at Mother Wolf last night. The pasta was out of this world and the Italian wine selection was great. The decor is very nice and conducive to an overall excellent experience.”

The quality of the food, wine pairings and service rank among the best I've experienced -- and I say that having dined at Central in Lima, Peru (#1 restaurant in South America and #2 in the world) in 2022. An amazing meal!!”
“LA foodies and pizza fans, believe the hype: Pizzeria Sei is the real deal.
Justified its rank as #2 in the US and #44 in the world. That crust is the perfect fluffy-yet-chewy balance, and you can taste the quality in every bite Also, make sure you save room for their tiramisu to end your meal.
The place is tiny and hard to find reservations, but it’s worth it! They also have takeout orders and a standbys line.”
“Angelini Osteria totally lived up to the hype! We had a great dinner there that night and I can't wait to go back again soon. Let's start with the star of this show: uni pasta. Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. The food is incredible, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes on the menu!”
“Went there twice during our 2 day trip. Biscuits are amazing. Maxie was our server, and she remembered us when we returned! She was very sweet, and the owner came out and chatted with us about the history of the restaurant.”
“price has gone up over the years but being the best, still worth it every damn time. just am not able to eat here as often as before but still the best in America!”
“Quality food, service and relaxed environment. Totally understated as the staff assist where needed with a minimum of fuss as we enjoyed the experience.”
“Great service , great ambience, great margarita drinks overall, an awesome place with outdoor patio. Just beautiful.”

“I am so happy to find such an exceptional Neapolitan-type pizza joint in Los Angeles—and only a couple of doors away from my office. I’ve been back 3 times now, and will be back again for sure! My Italian mama would have approved.”
“What a discovery!!! Trattoria Daly is great! In fact it's a real "find" in Lincoln Heights-- just east of downtown but totally convenient. So nice to be in a non-corporate friendly setting in a restaurant run by great people who care about their customers and are proud of what they offer. This neighborhood gem will attract foodies and friends and harkens the beginning of a mini-restaurant row near downtown, Keck Hospital, Dodger Stadium, among other neighborhoods in various directions. The owners were for many years part of the team at Pacific Dining Car-- these guys are well acquainted with high end service and food. What they've established in the past six months, is a friendly local spot with top quality food and service-- for unbelievably reasonable prices. The bill of fare is Italian-- excellent starters, super pastas, and entree's like rib-eye steak, salmon. You can also do a simple pizza night-- or make it a special occasion. I've spent a LOT of time in Italy, and I'm picky about Italian food. This is an excellent kitchen! The general atmosphere is like a "discovery" of that little off the beaten track gem. But word must have gotten out-- when we dined there on a Sunday night, the place was hopping! The visible to the house skilled kitchen was keeping up with the crowd of happy diners. Two decades of Pacific Dining Car (which didn't survive covid) made these guys the pros they are. You shouldn't have to "sell a kidney" to eat well-- and this place is proof. They are in process and waiting for their liquor license -- but you can bring your own vino-- (or pick up something at the Smart & Final down the street.) It's great to see professionals who are really good guys stir up the right ingredients-- warmth, welcome, excellent food, and outstanding service, and ample evidence that the American dream is still alive. Can't wait to go back!”
“En Petit Trois, la cocina habla por sí sola. Tanto la hamburguesa como el pescado destacan por una técnica precisa y una ejecución impecable, donde cada elemento está en perfecto equilibrio; dos platillos memorables, difíciles de jerarquizar. Aunque no fue posible degustar la coctelería debido a la política de requerir pasaporte físico para el servicio de alcohol, la propuesta gastronómica se sostiene con absoluta solidez. Una experiencia sobria, bien lograda y digna de repetirse.”
“myself & wife called in without a reservation Sunday evening, Had a beautiful meal in a very busy and friendly place our waitress Tamera was absolutely awesome friendly and gave great recommendations for us being from England helping with menus information highly recommended 5 star June 2025”
“GREAT FOOD ALWAYS~ BEEN COMING TO THIS RESTAURANT FOR DECADES~ MAMA'S COOKING IS THE BEST!!!! Pollack Casserole Steamed Cod Fish Seasoned Pork W/Veggie Seasoned Oysters must try~♡♡♡♡♡”
“Was awesome to find a restaurant with my two favorites…GF and Southern!”
“Good service and experience for Korean BBQ.specially the rice paper loved by many diner.”
Have fun.”
“Whenever we visit Los Angeles a night at Origin is a must! The atmosphere is fun, the staff is friendly and fast, and the food is to die for!”
“I absolutely loved this place. Lots of vegan options (which are clearly labeled). We tried so many different items and loved them all. The staff were incredibly friendly and nice and I just loved the whole vibe. The Dan Dan noodles, fried mushroom (forgot the name of the dish), and bok choy dumplings were all amazing. We had a large group with several kids and they were so accommodating and patient. I can’t say enough good things! Updated from previous review on 2026-02-16”
“Just tried MIRATE Restaurant the food was amazing! Definitely worth checking out if you love great flavors.”
“Wonderful experience. The chef was friendly and entertaining and prepared the most beautiful omakase for us. I keep ingredients- kosher and the chef was easily able to create a menu of only fish with fins and scales for me on advance request. He was careful about cross contamination too.”
“Getting there to be from best restaurant in LA. Tell Aviv cousin. Best vibe you have seen in LA.”
“Delicious from start to finish. We ordered the Caesar Salad, Burrata, Meatballs, Pork Belly, and tiramisu, and everything was excellent—well-prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The meatballs were especially memorable, and the tiramisu was the perfect way to end the meal. Add a little burrata to a bite of the meatballs for a perfect bite.
The wine selection complemented the food beautifully. They were also very accommodating when we needed to adjust our reservation time, which we appreciated.
Service struck the right balance—attentive without being overbearing. Claudia was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped make the experience even better.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and will definitely be back.”
“High quality food, tastes like the homemade wholesome Ukrainian food back in Ukraine. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. 😀”
“ottimo posto ho portato degli amici ieri sera ed anche loro sono rimasti molto soddisfatti lo consiglio personale molto molto gentile disponibile e le schiacciate favolose riempite Bene e buonissime 🤩”
“Amazing place. A real gem and great find. The mackerel bento tier 2 was amazing. The fish was butter and crispy. All the vegetables were so tasty too. The area it’s in is a bit rough, but this place is worth it. The inside is decorated nicely and it’s a nice atmosphere. The staff was nice and the even gave us cute holiday cookies. Can’t wait to visit again”

“Hello: With my apology to the owner and staff of Darya Restaurant in Santa Monica I wrote a bad review about 12 days ago. It was my misunderstanding to write a bad review. In fact, It is a good restaurant (5 Star) with excellent, well made, good ambiance, and delicious food and a vast array of dishes on the menu. I must say that their portions are generous in comparison to prices. I ask people to give them a try at least once and see for themselves. I think they are going to be hooked. All branches are good and the Orange county branch has a great ambiance! Thank you Ms. Darya and your staff for your efforts. I will see you again, indeed. Wish you all the best to come! “We recently held a memorial, celebrating the life of a loved family member at Yamashiro and the experience was nothing short of amazing! This restaurant has great food, beautiful views and a very welcoming atmosphere so they don't need to negotiate prices. However, our party was on a budget and to our very pleasant surprise, the manager worked with us to fit the evening into our limited budget. The service was outstanding and the food, well, I'm repeating myself but, again, absolutely amazing! Some establishments are willing to work within people's budgets, but the food and service level tends to reflect the lower pricing but that was NOT the case here: We were treated as if we were the only people in attendance that evening. The occasion was bitter/sweet because we lost a loved one but, by the end of the evening, we felt as if we had spent the evening at a family member's house and we will NEVER forget this evening, on many levels. Thank you, Yamashiro, for making our evening extra special for everyone in our party!”
“I ordered the BLT with Bacon and a strawberry arugula salad. Let me tell you that was the best BLT and salad I have ever had! The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were very friendly and quick to serve. I can't wait to go there again! Thank you for your wonderful service!”
“Sandras has the Best Tamales in L.A. When ever I bring them to work everyone loves them, even my Mother in law who is from Mexico and Picky loves them. They are MOIST and the masa is TASTY even when left in the refrigerator for weeks and then taken out to steam, they are delicious!”
“I found them on Yelp with a 4.5 rating and said I'm gonna try this place. I ordered a combo of catfish filet and oysters with fries and macaroni salad. The food was fresh, tasted great and plentiful. And I couldn't finish my meal because it was so much food. I highly recommend this place. The service was good also. I finally found my new go-to fried fish spot. Maybe I'll trying the orange roughy or lobster fried the next time. And don't forget the tartar sauce. It's off the chain, not that packaged stuff like some other places have.”

“I was in LA a couple of weeks ago on business and found this spot the day before leaving and that's my biggest regret. Wish we'd found it the first day we we're there I'd have been eating there everyday. The food and atmosphere are excellent and a live DJ playing music we all grew up on (can you dig it ✊?). The purple (grape) kool-aid was a blast from the past fo so.”
“Absolutely fantastic Mexican food! Some of the best I have had in Los Angeles, which is a very high bar! I had the Carne Asada and enchilada, and it was perfection, as were the guacamole and chips. There were five of us and everybody’s dishes were so delicious. The mole tasted as good as the mole I’ve had in different places in Mexico. Our waitress was also super friendly and very nice. Will absolutely be back here multiple times! Parking in back. And a huge tequila bar!”
“we were visiting universal studios in LA from the UK and being 2 vegetarians, we were a bit unsure on how our hot dogs would taste. we needn't of worried. with all the toppings or without, the veggie sausage was awesome! also, being from the UK, I queried what funnel cake was to our server, as I had seen it a few times in LA. he explained and it sounded interesting, so I said if I had room afterwards, I may try it. whilst eating our meal the lovely server bought 1 over to try for free! super nice food and the staff are the icing on the cake. highly recommend for something quick and filling and reasonably priced on the universal city walk.”

“Came here on a Wednesday to check it out & had a nice experience. The host & manager make sure that everyone that walks through the door can at least order a beverage while they wait. Very attentive & brought me a menu while I waited for a seat at the bar. Early was great, took my drink order & found me when it was ready (I ordered the Mango). My cocktail wasn’t something I would normally order but still enjoyed it. Once I snagged a bar stool, I ordered the hamachi crudo & WOW. It was perfectly tart, spicy, herbaceous & the pistachios provided a nice crunch to the delicate texture. I finished my visit with a gin & tonic which was excellent. I believe they may make their tonic in house & was perfectly balanced & a refreshing way to end the night. Bartender could have been a little more attentive after I paid (halfway through my g&t), I debated ordering another drink but decided not to after she didn’t come back to me. Overall great experience though. Highly recommend calling ahead or arriving early.”
“Four of us came or a special treat. The cocktails were delicious. We got another round. We were having the best time,
I only have one complaint, although it is a significant one. I have never been in a restaurant where the food was removed from the table, even though I was not finished.
I understand it was a Friday night and they were very busy, but It was pretty amazing when I was there only person eating when all the other plates have been cleared In an effort to get us out of the booth!”
“LOVE !!! such a cute persian cafe. so many lovely persian and persian inspired dishes. u HAVE to get the lavashak smoothie and the amoo palmer (it has orange blossom and a special mix by the owner). everyone working there is so friendly. shoutout eileen for helping with my first time here and being so kind!”
“Such an excellent bakery. Can't wait to go back and get more bread and try the different fruit pies. Found this as it was part of the Los Angeles bakery walk event. This is a hidden gem you want to stop at. The coffee drinks have also been excellent.
Nice assortment of gummy bears and they have birthday candles in case you need them for a special event. Very close to downtown culver city, and Kaiser medical center down the street”
“Tried this spot in LA and came away really impressed. The momos were done right across the board, but the kurkure momos definitely stood out—crispy on the outside with a ton of flavor, and the cilantro mayo paired perfectly with them. We also had the chili momos, which had a nice level of heat without taking over the dish. The paneer veggie momos were fresh, well-seasoned, and really satisfying too. Overall, everything felt balanced and thoughtfully made. Definitely a place I’d come back to and try more from the menu.”
“Excellent omakase that would rival those at twice the price. The actual omakase experience started about 30 minutes after the reservation time, so... Patience. Valet parking is available, which is always great to have when you spend 2+ hours for dinner in the LA area. I wish they can bring back the ginger they had about a year ago. That was some darn good ginger”
