“My husband and I visited this past weekend and everything was amazing. The food was great, the bartender Jesse (hope I spelled that correctly lol) was BEYOND great, and the atmosphere was very calming and inviting. I can’t wait to visit again.”
“Had an evening food tasting here - there were several courses of delicious food provided with the experience. We added on the apple cider vinegar drink, which was the right choice to warm us up for the winter food tasting.Although I had noted with my booking that I'm gluten-free, they brought me a few courses with gluten. I had to keep checking and waiting for a revised course to be provided when the mistake was made. If you have a food sensitivity/allergy, keep this in mind and make sure you check with each serving/meal.If you do a group booking, make sure to let them know you want separate servings as they were bringing us one plate for each course for our group, until we asked them to bring us separate ones. Considering the food tasting is an expensive experience and they charge per person, this was the first time I was brought a single plate/serving for a group booking.”
“Absolutely fantastic experience doing the Gimbap party. Tasty first course - corned beef with charred cabbage was exquisite. Main course - I could go on and on.Nothing wrong with any of it & free refills, cmon! Dessert was nice and refreshing. Exceptional service.”
“I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and he was also incredibly impressed with me and my choice to try Urdaneta!”

“Incredible dinner! Definitely a top five dining experience in Portland. Everything was delicious from the martinis, salads and main dishes. Highly recommend the beet and grapefruit salad, octopus, and steak.”
“Perfect date night with amazingly well prepared food. Appreciated that we didn’t feel rushed by the waiter or that the restaurant was trying to keep the guests revolving through as fast as they could. Was not expecting a few menu items with Asian flair, highly recommend pairing the chilled tom kha mussels and shrimp udon. Husband said oysters were the best he’s had. Really enjoyed having some different drinks to try, like skin contact wine and Amari. Will definitely be back!”

“Love this food cart pod! We live in the neighborhood and couldn’t be happier about all the wonderful options here. It’s clean, has covered seating with heaters and so many wonderful options!! So grateful for all the vegan/vegetarian options!!! Thanks! We’ll be regulars!!”
“Fun bar with great food and staff. Breakfast (and FULL menu) served all day! Drink and food specials, great Happy Hour('s), multiple TV'S, pool table, pinball, lottery. Has its own parking lot, but fills up fast during peak hours. Plenty of neighborhood parking, tho. Hidden gem, worth the trip.”
“We ate there Saturday night. I'll start by saying that there were some minor issues with food coming out of the kitchen in a timely manner. Without asking the manager comped us half our bill. He was very professional about it stating that the service was not up to his standards.Beyond the timing issues, the staff was prompt and professional. The drinks were outstanding and the food was very good. We also liked the space. It is intimate with lots of windows. We expect going back soon.”
“Honestly as good as you are going to get. Everything is wonderful, baba ganoush best I've had in ages. Only criticism was the "filet" was a very chewy, but all other meats great.”
“Amazing!!! I've never had catfish before trying it here. I love it! This place has fast and friendly service. The lemon vinaigrette coleslaw is so good. I'm not a fan of regular coleslaw but this is definitely not that. Large portions and its all tasty! My dad was raised where catfish is a staple and said it's almost like home. The only thing I didn't care for was the tables are a little closer than I'd like. Second visit and hopefully many more to come.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free”
“UPDATED REVIEW: I had previously had a poor experience but the second visit completely changed my mind. I'm really happy I gave it a second shot. TLDR: Le Pigeon went from 2 stars to 5 stars after our second experience there because it really is a phenomenal spot to dine for special occasions or anyone looking for an excellent tasting menu. Andy (co-owner) reached out to me pretty quickly after seeing my review and hadn't seen the private review I had given due to their switch from Resy to OpenTable. The email really put me at ease because Andy was very understanding and didn't make excuses for any of the reasons I gave regarding our poor experience. He is a first class owner. Every interaction via email as well as in person was pleasant and professional. Andy even made sure to introduce himself to myself and my husband the second time we came in. Every dish was cooked to perfection this time. We opted for the chef's counter which I HIGHLY recommend, especially if you likes asking questions about the meals and preparations. The chefs were very knowledge, down-to-earth, super friendly and willing to share enthusiastically. My favorite dish was the sea scallop with macadamia nut, mezcal and strawberry (to die for, melts in your mouth) and the opening dish which was a savory rice crispy with onion jam, unagi, and shaved truffle - divine! The dessert was also so delicious and refreshing. The halibut dish was another winner, poached to perfection in olive oil, tasted like spring. Every staff member this time was friendly, I never had my water lower than half way (which I really appreciate because I'm always thirsty lol), the atmosphere was pleasant and the playlist was great while not being too loud. Huge thanks to Andy and Molly for the wonderful experience and being open to any feedback given. I am truly thankful for the second shot and very happy we were able to experience Le Pigeon in the right way.”

“It was truly an amazing experience. Everything was delicious. The staff was awesome. Everyone was friendly. Every dish was better than the last. The twice cooked pork, amazing. The PLAINTAIN BRIOCHE BUNS, delicious and full of flavor. Wish we'd had two servings. The peanut, creamed greens are full of subtle flavor that builds and builds. The smoked ribs ranked among the best grilled beef I've ever had. The BLANCMANGE, with coconut custard, might be the best thing we had. It's a rare experience where we talked about what we want to try next time as we were driving home. Both of us are looking forward to going back again! Oh, and their drinks are amazing as well. Their Hearthfire was filled with flavor and heat! Delicious!”

“Delicious food every time we dine in, and fresh margaritas too. Supporting a queer-owned vegan business makes every bite and sip that much better. I would highly recommend their torta with any of their "meat". Music is a little loud, and it's a small environment. Besides that, the vibes are impeccable. We try to make it in every weekend.”

“One of favorite breweries. A hidden jewel of the Portland beer scene. High quality beer in a wide variety of traditional styles and some innovations. Chill and friendly vibe. Dog friendly. Worth going off the beaten path to have a pint or two.”
“Incredible dinner! Definitely a top five dining experience in Portland. Everything was delicious from the martinis, salads and main dishes. Highly recommend the beet and grapefruit salad, octopus, and steak.”
“The best pizza I’ve had, and I eat pizza a lot. We had the pepperoni and the garlic arugula pizza and my friend and I kept just saying how good it was. It’s the kind of pizza you feel like you should keep talking about but you come up short everytime you try.”
“Went for cocktails, which were lovely and not crazy expensive. Food, including oysters and a small plate of cheese ended up costing over 70 per couple averaging three drinks for two. Great environment. Nice staff. Just seemed pretty pricey for food. But, who am I kidding? I never go out anymore!”
“My son and daughter in law chose this venue for the reception following their wedding. We had a group of less than 20 people in the private dining room. Fantastic experience. Everyone at the restaurant was helpful on coordinating setup prior to the event. The appetizers, cocktails, entrees and desserts all received rave reviews from the wedding guests. Service was on point and we were extremely pleased with everything. Highly recommended for a small group gathering space (the private room is the perfect size for a group of 20). We will dine here again during our next trip to Portland.”
“I have lived in Morocco and been traveling there since the 1970s. my lunch yesterday at Kasbah Moroccan Cafe was undoubtedly the best Moroccan food I have eaten in the US. The food was delicious and authentic. Portions were generous. While we had to eat outside due to Covid, we could see that the inside of the cafe was attractively done in Moroccan style. The owner was very friendly. My son-in-law is Moroccan and he loved the food as well. I unreservedly recommend this place and will make a point of eating there next time I visit Portland.”
“Delicious plant-based ice cream. Some flavors taste more like traditional ice cream than others, but im not vegan and it's still good!Dietary restrictions: Great for vegan diet and lactose intolerance.”
“I mean wow, so good. So incredibly good! I didn't realize that Plumb is the kitchen located inside of the bar (Deadshot). It was my first time experiencing something like this (maybe I need to get out more) and it was incredible. The food is made to order so patience is key but luckily theres an amazing bar with handcrafted cocktails to enjoy while you wait. We arrived right at 4pm on Saturday evening and were promptly greeted and seated. We opted for a seat right at the bar. I ordered a red wine and my husband ordered a Deadshot. Then we placed our food order. We ordered the cesar salad, grilled cabbage, burger and steak frites and everything was so incredibly good. Fresh, decadent, perfectly cooked and ever so tasty. Of the items we tried, the cabbage dish was our favorite. I've never had cabbage with bechamel, apples and hazelnuts. It was simply divine! Highly recommend checking this place out!”
“If only someone could figure how to get Russian food right! Oh wait, these guys just did! An innovative take on Russian cuisine, modernizing it while staying true to its essence. We had a very enjoyable experience here. The staff were great, offered insightful recommendations and were very professional. The food was amazing. The lobster olivieh (on the special menu) was a star! The Zakuskis both hot and cold were amazing. The wine list was great! You can't leave without trying some vodka obviously. The ironic Soviet decorations were spot on! I've included some photos here. I'd highly recommend this spot!”
“Found this spot via Instagram and it lives up to the hype. Tons of unique rolls to choose from as well as plenty of non-sushi appetizers and entreés like Udon. The sashimi and tamari (nigiri) was very fresh and delicious. We will definitely come back to try the set courses. Sake list is small but there are options for everyone, ranging from dry to sweet, and they have a good selection of Japanese wiskeys. Our server, Becca, was kind and very helpful for our first time experience. (pictured) bluefin akami, bluefin otoro, and hamachi tamari, Blazer and Salmon Twist rolls.”

“Highly recommended by locals and it didn’t disappoint. I enjoy sours and that’s what brought me here. The large selection of beers is fantastic! I enjoyed a flight of 5 different beers and the bartender gave me a taste of a seasonal one to boot. I was visiting from Alabama for the weekend and I am so glad I was directed to this brewery! The area had great shopping too. Cool local stores nearby.”
“This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Portland. Everything on the menu, drinks and all, is well thought out and crafted. I look forward to showing off this place whenever friends come to town! Gabby, Anthony, and crew deserve all the love and appreciation.”
“Our friends that have dined all over the world say this is one of their favorite restaurants in town. My friend and I went and thought it was good but not mind-blowing. The service was good, the atmosphere very lively and fun (kind of on a hip bar side of things). For the equivalent quality and price and portions, I prefer many other place in town. Also, I think another reviewer mentioned they left hungry? To be fair, we only ordered four plates and 2-3 were recommended per person at minimum, meat free. However...I too left hungry and just didn't want to surpass the $45 (with tip) I already spent on my food plus $20 for drink.”

“Delicious and beautiful food!!! I miss being able to eat at your restaurant because the atmosphere was always so relaxing and unique. Thanks for the amazing food and experience!”
“I keep coming back for the pork belly fried rice and the massaman curry. Really delicious food, great outdoor seating, and they changed their dessert options recently as well. The banana cake was great with the coconut ice cream. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.”
“This is our first time there. Super cute building -very cozy. Everyone that worked there was super kind. The food was delicious. We got the goat cheese and calamari- they were great starters. Then we got scallops and seafood fra diavolo. Absolutely delicious. Lastly, we got the kettle chip dulce de leche ice cream for dessert and that was really good too. If you like fresh brewed iced tea, their iced tea is really good too. We are definitely coming back. This is a great spot for a date night!”
“Fabulous drink selection. I was struggling because I wanted one of everything, and our server suggested letting the bartender create something based on the flavors I was looking for. The result was an incredibly delicious passion fruit mezcal drink that rocked my world. They infuse some of their spirits too. One was vodka sesame, another with cardamom - super cool.Impressive tequila and mezcal selection, and still had room at the bar for a great bourbon selection too!The music was also great!Parking: Free depending upon time of dayKid-friendliness: Leave ‘em at homeWheelchair accessibility: Roll on in”
“We ordered the fried chicken, summer salad, hummus with burnt beef tips and the corn ribs. Everything was unbelievably delicious. The summer salad in particular was refreshing and different. I can not recommend this place enough.”

“The company I work for has a corporate account and we order sack lunches through Bunk Catering often. We've never had an issue. Always arrives on time and exactly what we ordered. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I would and do recommend using them for your office lunches. :)”
“Vegetarian options: If they can't find what they like on the menu, it is a full service bar with video lottery, so there is that.Personally, I eat meat, but that's just me .Parking: I didn't count the parking spots, but they were more than enough. Just pull in, find an empty spot, pull in, and go inside for a drink. If you have too many, let someone else drive you home .”
“Both Tik Toks hold a special place in my heart for different reason! This location cranks out food super quick any time you order! Love the staff all around!!Cassi was one of the best servers I've ever had! Keep it up!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“Cheapest tripas, buche, and Lengua in Portland! It’s very delicious and I love their jalapeños! It can be pretty greasy though but still perfect for late night food.”
“My favorite snack from here are the "muffin tops", They have lemon or cranberry orange, which are both equally good. I usually get an Americano, which I pour into my coffee from home to warm it up. I've never been inside, only drive through.”
“Disheartening to look outside and watch two folks smoking on their Crack pipe. Right out the window where I was sitting next to.But the manager took care of the situation quickly. He gets a 10!! Thank you sir.”
“We dropped by our Subway today. The manager was in. We let him know that we were not pleased with the sandwiches we got last time. We didn't even eat them. We left a bad review. He asked us when this happened. He remade our order and did not charge us.The replacement sandwiches were great. The way they have always been in the past. If a sandwich is not done right, they will remake it. I'm sure they would refund your money if you asked.KUDOs to the manager. Didn't get his name, but he made it right. Thank you.”
“My night shifts at Amazon mean eating out at odd hours. Thankfully, Jamie at Carl's Jr. on 8205 SE Rhine St, Portland, OR, has been a game-changer. She nails our orders every time, even with my wife's custom requests. Fast, friendly, and always spot-on, Jamie's service makes our unusual mealtime a highlight. Big thanks to Jamie for making late-night dining so much better.”
“Great place to goto and 2 am food is always hot service is good, just don't go at 3 am because they shut down at 3. That 24 hours is a lieParking: Plenty of spaces big enough to maneuver a semi inWheelchair accessibility: Definitely wheelchair friendly”
“I was pleasantly surprised when we got there. It had been a while since I had eaten at Denny's, and I had a preconceived notion of what I would experience since this was the same restaurant. I had a semi-bad idea of what I would see, Boy, was I surprised. It was a little bit of a wait when we walked in the door. 3 or 4 small groups ahead of us. But we were seated in under 5 minutes with menus and coffee. The waitress was friendly and VERY upbeat. Food arrived in just the right amount of time, and it was hot!I have to say, I really enjoyed my entire time spent there, AND our dogs got to enjoy a little bit of it also when we got home.Parking: It is a pretty large lot quth lots of parking, a few handicapped spots to choose from, also.”
“Hard to find, but thank God, you can find it and delight yourself with Southwest flavor heavy burgersParking: Right at a busy corner but easy to access and easy to return to trafficWheelchair accessibility: Simple but spacious to get in and out.”
“I'm having the most incredible meal for $10. So many toppings, delicious tortilla, shredded, not crumble beef and added peppers and onions for flavor as a complete bonus to the menu description which for Portland, come on it's rare to add anything more. I'm so happy hahaWith the Mexican salsa and shredded lettuce I feel like I have an entire side salad, props for my health ??So much food I couldn't finish it in one go.”
“Although I was skeptical of this place because of the wishy-washy reviews and the place that it's located. My overall visit was brightened by one of your amazing employees. Who was attentive and friendly and genuinely made me feel warm and welcome. Makayla...sorry if that is miss spelled. She was fantastic and I will definitely be coming back and recommending her to my friends to. It's so hard to find good service anymore so when it happens I just have to leave a good review.”
“The cuisine was succulent and fresh. The executive chef personally prepared my entree and his presentation was a masterful work of art. He had obviously trained at the finest culinary institutions in Europe. What caught me by surprise was the more than affordable price at this exquisite 5 michelin star establishment.”
“Thank you Tiara!! (update i messed up accidently put a monkey along with these nice pictures of african americans)update 2 (wow i dont even know what to say i really dropped the ball here these are all monkeys oops)”
“I took my wife here on our first date a long time ago. We wanted a place that had a good vibe and where we could catch up with old friends. While we waited for our table to be set, we had a chance to meet the owner. He was interesting and funny. He really cares about this place and customers. The food was delicious, service great, and the bartender is top notch. We were a group of 4 and we all had the Ziti with Vodka sauce and sausage. A great evening. I'll be back.”
“My husband and I went to Grana for an impromptu date night and overall had a good experience. We started with the chicory Caesar and the dressing was extremely tasty and very light (in a good way) compared to most Caesars. The pizza was delicious, we got the blanco and the margherita. We both liked the blanco best but agreed the margherita was necessary too to add a fresh balance. The crust was absolutely delicious and the ingredients were very high quality and fresh. We also loved cutting the pizza with the shears, so fun! I'd recommend they look at expanding their wines by the glass menu a little bit, given the prices and high quality of the other food it would have been nice to have an option other than "house red" or "house white." My only real bit of constructive criticism is about the service. There were two servers, the guy was super nice but the girl wasn't overly friendly and hovered at our table after we got a box, waiting for us to leave so she could bus it. We were also seated at table 12 which is literally behind the host stand, I would highly recommend not seating people at that table unless you have a packed house because not only was it cramped, it was really awkward having to be eye level with the host's butt during the meal. There were a ton of empty tables throughout the restaurant so I regret not asking to be seated elsewhere, but I didn't want to seem high maintenance.”
“What an awesome meal on the way out of Portland near i5. I was a bit worried when looking at the neighborhood initially coming from the IKEA direction but the food was great, service friendly and warm, and the decorations inside was pretty cool and felt like a bit of Peru. I even recognize a doll that looked similar to one I purchased from Peru there. I will definitely come back again”
Takeout Restaurants
“First time eating Ethiopian food, trusted the waiter to choose our food and wine pairing and he hit it spot on! Everything was absolutely delicious. So fresh and spicy and flavorful. We will definitely be back often!”
“I loved the ice cream! The flavors were very unique, but extremely satisfying! The customer service was amazing as well, everyone was so nice and helpful. And just so you know, you can have a sample scoop of everything on the menu.”
“This place is so good!!! We got the chicken burrito and steak burrito. They were big enough to split between the 3 of us. The taste of them both were top notch. Seriously excellent taste. Fresh handmade tortillas??? Yo, you’re trippin if you think this place is mid. Will definitely be coming back to try the habanero sauce. Tried the red and green and was blown away with the flavor for both. Highly recommend!!!”
“Delicious pizza with a wide selection of toppings. I'm a big guy and the pizza was almost two meals for me; definitely a great sharing size if you go with others.”
“Everything was perfection!! Went for all day happy hour on a Monday and that was a great entry point into this restaurant. The deals weren’t anything crazy, but made it easier to try more things. Every dish we got was delicious and fresh and the servers were so helpful and attentive. Would definitely go back!!”
“The cutest subway station turned into a coffee spot! My friends and I ordered chai tea, spanish and tiramisu latte. The service took 30 minutes and the line wasn’t that long, but the lattes were absolutely worth it. Chai had the perfect amount of spice.”
“Definitely a must try at least once! The ice cream flavors change often, but there are always the consistent flavors that are there every time. It's worth going in and asking for a sample of as many kinds as you want to try until you find your favorite (they use actual silverware for the samples).”
“We came here accidentally due to Apple Maps telling us it was way closer than it actually was, but what great place. We park and on the way to the door they are pumping the delicious smell of the grill right over you. The staff was polite and funny. Even the music was late nineties alternative which being 43 is perfect! We ordered a single, a double, chili cheese curly fries, deluxe curly fries (cheese, sauce, onions, and bacon), a kids burger, and a chocolate shake. Every item, no, every bite was stellar. My seven year old son said it was the best burger he ever had. 5/5 highly recommend. Honestly couldn’t have been better.”
“First of all, wow! Best poke bowls I’ve ever had. My friend and I came here and ordered the Tomyum Salmon Poke and the Aburi Salmon Don, along with some baked mussels. The fish is so fresh and they even give you free miso soup with every bowl and a little utensil bag with a hand towel and toothpick. I also recommend the onigiri (perfect snack). I’ll definitely be back soon!”
“Incredible. I’ve never felt such a profound emotional reaction to something as simply advertised as pizza. It was an out of body experience and I’m assuming it’s this way because it’s somebody’s life work. It’s the only explanation I have. If that’s the case then it’s somehow elaborately deceptive in its facade of simple ingredients because it’s completely engineered to make you feel something so profound it catches you off guard in a world full of distractions.”
“Get the PORK BELLY SANDWICH and the KILLER FRIES guys!!!! Let’s support this family owned business because it’s worth it!?Sandwich: Pork Belly is on a different level (Also recommend Lemongrass pork/chicken) The carrot and cucumber daico is so different than other places, which is a plus point from me. 10/10?Killer Fries: I found this on delivery app but couldn’t find it on the menu in store. I’m pretty sure it’s still available as a “secret” menu. It has fries, bulgogi meat, and 3 kinds of sauce. You have to give this a try!!! 10/10They also make their own hot sauce which is FIREEEEE?. Like what’s better than fresh sauce compare to on-the-market sauceI got the combo which is the sandwich, potsticker, and thai tea and everything is phenomenal. I didn’t expect it to be this good and you can feel the freshness of everything. I love family owned business and this place has prove its worth. Will come back for sure?”
“We ordered fried chicken sandwich with Cajun Mac & cheese and fried popcorn chicken with fried cauliflower bites and portobello mushrooms. Last the friend apple pie. Everything was DELICIOUS!!!!! Definitely returning again”
“Incredible!!! I got the birria tacos and they were just fantastic. Piping hot, great mix of textures and flavors, and a great portion size. Thank you! Can't wait to eat here again!Vegetarian options: Delicious vegetarian options and many of them are vegan, or can be made vegan!”

“I love mama chows and since earlier this year I have become a regular! The two chefs are always so helpful and check in on you after you eat even though it's a food cart! The garlic noodles are incredible and have the perfect chew! Plus you have a variety of toppings for whatever mood you are in! I recently had the garlic shrimp garlic noodles and I wish that they would add it to the menu full time! A must try in Portland!”
“Best sushi in Portland hands down. Fish quality and selection is always 10/10. Chefs are the real deal and are so fun to watch (highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar).Dietary restrictions: They always ask you as soon as you walk in whether you have any restrictions.”
“My boyfriend and I came on a whim. I don’t think I’ve had better food in Portland and we go to a lot of restaurants. If you are looking for a mouth-orgasm come here. Absolutely delicious food!”

“An absolute delight for brunch! I was in Portland for only a day and 2 people highly recommended this spot and it did not disappoint. They usually have a great list of specials. I had the pancakes with strawberry and whipped cream, the salmon hash, French press coffee and cinnamon pecan roll.Everything was delicious and felt like it was homemade from fresh ingredients. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, gave us lots of suggestions on what and how to order. The cafe has an overall fancy french bistro vibe”
“Haley was an absolute pleasure to order from. Great customer service and made us feel not only welcome but carried on a great conversation during the process. Outstanding drinks we received and service. Nice lil set up and we enjoyed the covered deck while waiting and conversing. Highly recommend Slowbomb Coffee!”
“I love this place! It’s fast and convenient. You pay the same amount you would at a Starbucks/ popular chain but get wayy better quality and inventive foods/ drinks. Plus you’re supporting local! The owner is also very sweet. 100% recommend.”
“I tried the taco plate and got half chicken half steak. They were good but I wasn't impressed with them especially from what the reviews raved about. However I did find the steak to be more flavorful than the chicken. The pineapple and hibiscus drinks were good. Service was pick-up and clean-up for yourself.... had I known that I would not have given a tip.”
“Excellent customer service!!! Large selection of beverages, breakfast sandwiches and muffins. Very efficient baristas taking excellent care of drive through customers. Need a burger fix? Hit the Spot food cart is in the same parking lot!!!!”
“You can tell that everything is made with love. The white chocolate raspberry scone was cut from the baking tray and was still warm when it was handed to me. So good!”
“Best Mexican food in the area, fresh food, made quickly with care. Can't tell you how much we love Saul and his cart, they never disappoint, always tasty and generous portions at a very reasonable price. Hope they never leave, we're there at least once a week. We wish them the best with the upgraded new truck, and eating area, more great food!!”
“Everyone was talking about Franks-A-Lot and I was skeptical because I’m not a big hotdog person but after trying one I’m hooked it was the absolute best I’ve ever had and a super friendly person took my order I would definitely recommend them for a great experience!!!!!”
“This place is great! The coffee was a bit less than hot, but the barista, Emma made up for it as she was super sweet and extra hot! Will be back again next time for sure.”
“This is a Papa Murphy's take and bake pizza store. In case you have never experienced a Papa Murphy's before, I will explain. There is no inside dining, the reason is that Papa Murphy's sells uncooked pizza. Some very good uncooked pizzas. My favorite is the chicken garlic pizza.”
“Denise and Elizabeth have amazing customer care. They were dealing with a processing server error (that had been occurring all day) and they explained exactly what was happening and handled us and the line exceptionally. For something that was completely out of their control, in a busy airport location, they handled themselves great!”
“Best lamb shank ever. Fun neighborhood place. Its gotten more upscale in recent years but now they take credit cards. lovely neighborhood in southeast Portland which is fun to visit too.”
“Amazing coffee even better service. I've been going for about a month or so. I'm super happy to have found a local coffee stand. Kind of has the cheers vibe for me now lol”
“Great service Best kept secretDietary restrictions: Pretty much open to making something to please youParking: Drive thruKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes open space”
“Arden is always outstanding! The food always impresses, the menu is so creative and delicious. The servers are all amazing and they even gave us champagne with our dessert for our anniversary. I will always highly recommend Arden!!”
“Lovely venue, amazing food. Every single bite was unique. I typically approach food as fuel, but the same ingredients prepared by masterful hands and palates on a warm Portland evening are downright ethereal. Unparalleled. Go for the fixed course meal and wine pairings, and let them make the decisions. Dealbreaker: The focaccia and butter plate is like none I’ve experienced before. Best plate ever. Seriously. If you haven’t had butter or cheese with honey and fennel, it’s a must.”
“Delicious and beautiful food!!! I miss being able to eat at your restaurant because the atmosphere was always so relaxing and unique. Thanks for the amazing food and experience!”

“Hands down the best dinner experience I had on my trip to Portland - and I went to Han Oak be Laangbaan so really the bar was high! Intimate but approachable setting, great service, and quality fish. Our chef was thoughtful and informative without being too overbearing, and we were able to have a nice family meal while learning about the ingredients and engaging with the experience. Would recommend and will be back! Not cheap but worth the price point.”
“Always a wonderful experience. Top notch plant based cuisine with a wonderful twist of flavor combinations.True care and time goes into their menu, tonight we enjoyed house made tempe, sauces, vinegars, and fermented beverages that have been crafting for months.Far more than just a meal Astera delivers a dining experience worth the price of admission.Highly recommend!”
“We recently came to Portland for my sister's bachelorette. She loves steakhouses and so when I found out that RingSide Steakhouse is the oldest steakhouse in Portland, I knew we had to come here. Online the reservations portal only allows for reservations for party of seven or less. Eight or more, you have to email them. So I did and got my options. When I let them know that I was just interested in dining in the main area they did that for me. They called me the day before our reservation to confirm. When we arrived we were greeted immediately. When we sat down our server was great. He explained the menu and answered all our questions. The majority of our group got the ribeye for two and split them. And the nice part is the restaurant splits and serves it on separate plates. We also ordered a large order of onion rings for the table. We also ordered several sides to share amongst the table. We ordered the cabbage, pole beans, lobster mashed potatoes, and Korean spiced heirloom carrots. I got the crab cakes as my meal. All the food was good. The ribeye comes with one choice of a side. The ribeye was tender and everyone's was cooked just the way they asked. The dessert was delicious. They also sent the crème brûlée free of charge since we were celebrating. The chocolate mousse was so good. The banana ice cream was so good and it worked with the whole dessert. The cheesecake was good too.”
“I live in this area and never really noticed this restaurant from the outside because the exterior is nothing special and the dim lighting inside doesn't give you a hint of the festivities inside. But after reading about it on a website for best Italian restaurants, I went for dinner with a friend. We sat at the counter (and were able to order ala carte, there was no tasting menu only). Overall, the vibe is friendly neighborhood restaurant that's a bit high-end. The dishes are bit pricey (and like some people said already, the portions, especially the antipasti, are on the small end) but the flavors and cooking are really well done. The pasta of course was perfectly fresh (we had the agnolotti) and the pork tomahawk special of the day ($53) was an interesting mix of pork chop and chorizo. Service was super attentive, but like others said, maybe too attentive because they check on you so often that at one point I felt I couldn't really enjoy the meal with all the interruptions. I can see how this is a great place to celebrate a special occasion and the quality is first rate, people just need to be prepared for what it is, which is slightly smaller dishes at premium prices. With an Italian menu, there are several courses (like a primi and secondi) so if you want to do all courses, including desserts, then probably can share. But if you're not planning to do multiple dishes, then the serving size is good for one person.”
“What an amazing night we had! We were celebrating our 26th Wedding Anniversary and everyone of the staff went out of their way to make sure it was the best night possible for us and all wishing us a Happy 26th Anniversay. The food was excellent, the care of professionalism was the best bar none. We will be back! Our gratitude to Mark our waiter and the entire staff, please don't forget to thank them all for us, even our car attendant was kind and courteous.I can't say Thank you to each and everyone for such a delightful night and a memory we will hold in our hearts and minds for the rest of our lives. And also to the gracious lady at the next table who paid for part of our dinner. We feel truly blessed.”
“Best Mexican restaurant ever.this place was more than I possibly imagined.this place is the pinnacle of culinary creation.love and passion served on a plate.as a sous chef this place motivated and inspired me,food can be so much more than just something you eat.its and experience,an adventure”
“alright listen. i know you're expecting a 5 because this place's reviews are absolutely popping off. but this place just didn't live up to the expectation. food was mid but service was AMAZING which is what saved it. ambiance was also good and i overall enjoyed the experience. would i go again? no... but would i recommend for a one time fancy night out? maybe! have fun!”
“Fresh, delicious and tasty soul food! All fried food is made once ordered. The greens had meaty flavorful ham hock and the Mac and cheese was tasty and delicious. We will be back!”
“From the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised at how busy it was but such a warm comfortable atmosphere. I came for my Birthday dinner and ended the night with a complimentary dessert! Our waitress was very informative of the menu, recommendations, and how the service was going to go in order. I appreciated the Experience. I will be returning.”
“My good friend Renee and I had an enchanted evening at Domaine Serene where we had the pleasure of trying their ambitious new menu which is now available to the public. The new menu has been crafted in collaboration with iconic, local Executive Chef George Morris, of Bos Taurus and Nomé notoriety, and features creative wine-inspired cuisine with a French bistro flair, and notable Pacific Northwest ingredients. We had been eagerly anticipating the new menu launch event, and it was a memorable and magical experience with every course. Our multi-course dinner was exceptional, and the world class wine pairings were curated with thoughtfulness. Some of our favorite dishes included: Amuse-Bouche // Shigoku Oysters on The Half Shell w/ Blood Orange ‘R’ Rosé Granita, & Yuzu Kosho. Beef Short Rib Bourguignon // Creamy Polenta, Root Vegetables, w/ a Red Wine Jus. For me, the culinary star of the show, and probably one of the best dishes I’ve ever had: The Steamed Foie Gras Wontons A rich, delectable creation framed with a Smoke-Forward Shoyu, and Aromatic; Miyagi Chili Oil, Hints of Mint From the Shiso, and the citrus notes from the lime accentuated the strengths of the dish with a delicate balance. With their exciting new menu, and added team members, now is a great time to go experience the serendipity of Domaine Serene for yourself.”
“The strak was tender and succulent. I had it medium rare. The wait staff was less than stellar and we waited for at least 30 minutes for a waiter after being seated. Not a good look. There may have been a mistake or a table assignment error. Once the waitress came she was great. The food was excellent as usual.”
“This place has been legendary since it opened and has maintained quality over time. Definitely one of the jewels of Portland and perfect for a business dinner or happy hour. + their selections of Bourbon is amongst the best in town.”
“I was here few years ago... that was BC (before Covid that is) and my recollection is that I was very impressed with the pizza and the ice cream. If I was impressed then, I was super impressed now. We had 2 pizzas both amazing, so much so that I'd call this one of the best pizza I had in Portland (yes, I had Ken and Apizza schools). Delicious ice cream to top that. Very friendly service. A place to go back more often. Promise not to wait again 4-5 years before I return.”
“I keep coming back for the pork belly fried rice and the massaman curry. Really delicious food, great outdoor seating, and they changed their dessert options recently as well. The banana cake was great with the coconut ice cream. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.”

“Had another wonderful breakfast here! Had Gabriel again for a server this trip. He’s just friendly and knowledgeable about the menu! Love it here. I had the Denver omelet this time- a staple breakfast for me. They use real ham steak and red pepper. It’s so good. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area!”
“Torta - the Lab Style: Halal beef, ham and melty cheese, grilled bell peppers, onions and tomatoes served with the Lab's special sauce (mustard-y and delicious).I recommend this dish for lunchtime! ??Did I say halal?! Mexican American AND Halal delicatessen! If you're Mexican and/or Muslim, I recommend this place for you, as all food and drinks here can be made halal upon request! Also, my favorite coffees are the Frapp-acheiver (dark chocolate flavored), Mood Regulator (5 different kinds of chocolate), and the Warrior (Mexican chocolate).I like my coffee with chocolate, plenty of chocolate. If you like chocolatey coffee, I recommend this place!”
“The food was amazing. The restrooms where very dirty. Please keep your restrooms clean for customers. Also while servingbe more attentive to your customers. Please show that you appreciate the customers that support you,Not just your friends and family.”
“Such an awesome coffee shop. There are things everywhere to find. The bathroom is so cute!Food was really delicious, nothing super special but really well made.*Update. Came back yesterday with kiddo after mini golf and had the most amazing Brownie Blizzard thing. Played some games and did the scavenger hunt. Such a cool and unique spot!Vegetarian options: Couple good veggie options!Kid-friendliness: Tons of fun stuff for kids to find!”
“Citrus pork taco rib eye taco fish taco holy moly jess jess jesssssssss. Taquitos are of course jammin as well as everything else on the menu but them 3 are the best tacos I ever had in the general Portland ”
“Blew me away! I love this food cart pod already but I wanted to try something new and I will be back! My partner got a burrito and I got the taco plate with carnitas and portobello. Incredible! Love the colorful plates too and the salsas were spicy but not too spicy. Perfect amount of kick.”
“It’s rare that a place checks all the boxes- delicious food, inventive drink, good vibe, friendly service and a general feeling that you just want to go back. This place is a gem.”
“Came on a Saturday to have brunch with a couple friends. They weren't busy when we arrived (11a.m.), but packed by the time we were leaving.I had the Eggs Benedict. It was delicious, but the braised pork was over seasoned to me, still edible and tasty if you add a bite to the delicious little roasted potatoes. We all shared a side of Yuca fries, and pecan crusted/candied bacon. Both delicious, and the sauce provided for the fries was amazing. The service was also fantastic! Our server was very friendly and attentive.I would reccomend checking this place out. I will be back.”
“Freshest ingridient tacos you ever gonna get. The ribeye taco with fried picked onions is that EXTRA that you are looking for haha. Add a shrimp taco for a little surf and turf! Remy running front counter, keeps everything running smoothly always greets you with a smile on his face and a positive attitude. Great cusotmer service! Highly recommend if you're looking for some higher end tacos.”
“I love this cafe! They do good work. Good pastries and drinks, kind customer service. However, they allow people to bring their dogs inside. I really wish they'd only allow service animals like most food establishments.”
“El servicio excelente y la comida súper sabrosa y hecha con mucho cariño. Hoy probé Causa Acevichada, Lomo Saltado, Tallarines Verdes, Tacu-Tacu, Antichos y Picarones. Todo súper recomendado!!! Definitivamente vamos a regresar por más!”
“I had the bulgogi beef, cheese corn, and ban-chan. This was a very quiet, relaxing and delicious experience! Eating here felt like being cared for at someone's home, everything was presented with such care. It really made me realize how many of the Korean restaurants I go to are focused on Korean bar food.Parking: This is in the heart of St John's commercial area, so all parking is street parking.”
“First time here. Everything was delicious! But especially the downtown shrimp and grits. I can't wait to come back and try the uptown version. Our server was wonderful and the entire experience was *chef's kiss *! We live an hour and a half away, but I will make the special trip to come back. What a gem!”
“This is one of the few places that I will absolutely give all five stars. The neighborhood is beautiful, it's run by a husband and wife who are absolutely delightful. All my neighbors love them. I even got a friend who is staunchly religiously against eating pork to try one of their pizzas because he said it smells so good that he could break just this once, lol. He said it was beyond fantastic.I get the spicy Rosso, but I substitute the onions for garlic because I don't like onions on pizza. It's absolutely heavenly! I highly recommend this spot.”
“Michael and Bibi have made a FANTASTIC experience. Stop in, try a sample, you will not be disappointed. We had the chickpea and potato, and salfish bacalhaus, along with the chicken and potato on rice. All of it was amazing. I want to explore the whole menu now. If you're into spicy get their hot sauce for sure. Then take all your food and enjoy Fracture Brewing: they allow outside food in, have a ton of great beer on tap, along with ciders and a full bar! Space is inside and out. Wonderful!”
“What a gem! We don't eat vegan exclusively but have egg and dairy allergies so getting burgers with cheese and ranch and shakes was awesome! The buddy stix (mozzarella) were not bad but the Paddy's Melt and Newport Nightmare were both great and the Smashed to pieces shake was so good we came back another time just for more shakes! This place is located inside Swan Dive and did not have a sign outside (as they moved recently to the kitchen inside).”
“We LOVED this place. Knocked it out of the park. Really fun space and great food. We ordered six different plates and they were all home runs. Need to come back and try the rest.”
“No resys, just walk ins and it's busy but going earlier is always best or be prepared to wait a bit. It's more than worth it, the food is fire and with the portions it still feels like a lot but it's nice to try a little of everything. My favorite is the pesto and oyster mushroom pasta dish and the radiatore with lamb! Great wine selection as well. Quaint small and nice spot.”
“Food was better than I was expecting, though unsurprisingly the curry is very VERY mild. Lots of consoles to choose from and tons of cool classic games, good spot to chill for the evening.”
“This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Portland. Everything on the menu, drinks and all, is well thought out and crafted. I look forward to showing off this place whenever friends come to town! Gabby, Anthony, and crew deserve all the love and appreciation.”
“This place took over what used to be Pot & Spicy. The interior is pretty much the same - nice and simple. The food offerings was a bit similar to before. We ordered a few skewers and a bowl of Beef Golden Soup to share. The server was friendly and quick to get our order in. The bacon needle mushroom and beef skewers were tasty, as well as the chicken heart skewers. The popcorn chicken could have used a better batter, in my opinion. It was more of a panko coat to it and needed more spice to it. The Beef Golden Soup was flavorful, and I enjoyed it.”
“Gumba, I love you. This is my third time eating here and today I fell in love even more. We started with the burrata and fry bread and damn that was amazing. Then the calamari arrived and damn that was amazing. We shared the tagliatelle with duck confit , pappardelle, and the squid ink and damn they were all so so amazing. Every bit was perfection. No other Italian restaurant compares to Gumba.”
“Holy moly this was some of the best food I have ever eaten. In my life. The burnt ends curry, fried chicken, and ceviche were unforgettable. Drinks were amazing. Service was top notch. Dying to go back!”
“Loved everything about this restaurant! All the dishes we tried were delicious, the service was excellent, and the vibe was so good! We cannot wait to come back to try more dishes!”
“First time eating Ethiopian food, trusted the waiter to choose our food and wine pairing and he hit it spot on! Everything was absolutely delicious. So fresh and spicy and flavorful. We will definitely be back often!”
“We were out last night looking for some new & interesting dining and discovered this really trendy eatery . There atrium was magnificent to dine in as we ordered an Italian charcuterie board for our starter. We followed with a tequila Negroni that was sooo goooood Next was a yummy dish of prawns in a buttery sauce - they were cut thin with the whole prawn wow!!! Great service from the dining staff and 4 sure a repeater for us. Bon Appetite Ronn just Ronn The hole in the wall food guy”
“We have been satisfied customers since 2018 and have dined in and COVID take away more than a dozen times. Jon and his crew has never disappointed. Yes there have been highs and lows with the lows never derailing. This small classic French Bistro accommodates 22 per seating on a packed night. Reservations are a must. Tonight there three parties who were repeat customers think they can show up on a Friday at 7pm and expect there are open seats. We were fortunate to benefit from a new menu that consistently plays on classic French bistro faire based on fresh and seasonal ingredient's. Love to find the comforts of a classic baguette, pate, fresh greens and flavorful entree offerings. The wine list changes weekly and I would recommend allowing John to pair your wines with your order. We settled on Baguette, Fresh Greens, Scallops, salmon and friendly banter with staff. Once again not a disappointing night out.”
“This was on my tiki bar fanatic brother-in-law's list for his first time in Portland, and it did not disappoint! We got there right before it opened on a Friday, and it was a full house within the first half hour of being open, so I definitely recommend going early. I got two gin drinks--the Singapore sling and the moonlighter. Loved both although the Singapore sling was my favorite. My sister got the blue Hawaiian and the hurricane. My brother-in-law got the mai tai, the doctor funk, and the drink that came with the blue tiki mug. For food, we got two orders of the Hawaiian bread (had to get another order it was so good!) and the edamame. This was such a fun experience! A very welcome tropical escape from rainy Portland.”
“Went on a Monday evening for dumplings: crystal shrimp, pork and shrimp xiao long bao , pork and crab xiao long bao. Ordered pork belly on a whim. Everything was fantastic. Get the yuzu lemon drop!”
“We were visiting Portland and this was walking distance from our hotel. I'm so glad we stumbled upon it! The ambiance and decor is incredible. My daughter loved the fish tank and jellyfish wall, of course. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. I was a bit nervous because it seemed like an "adult" place, but they had a kids menu and were completely welcoming. The food was amazing. I'll dream about the brisket empanadas forever. Spicy chicken bites were another winner. Bring friends and come hungry!”
“My kids took me to Jeju for a memorable delicious surprise birthday dinner last night. It was a wonderful high quality healthy food experience with every dish well-balanced, full of umami. Their desserts were out-of-this-world so Scrumptious. Amazing service-thoughtful and attentive, warm inviting ambience...”
“Staff was so nice!! Barely any pictures of food so we didn’t think they sold food but their menu is amazing. I had the steak sandwich which was very tender and my boyfriend had the burger. It was super delicious!! And once again the staff is so friendly!”
“MEC is always fabulous. It’s the kind of place you can count on having stellar food and excellent service every time. They really make outstanding vegetable dishes. This is one of the only places I don’t have room for meat when I want all of my favorites. The cauliflower dish and the charred carrots are crazy good!”
“Such a great spot! I’m always hesitant when eating out in Portland, because there are a lot of places that people say are good and they just aren’t. This place had it all!The food was so tasty, but the best part was the hospitality of the owner! I’ve been here for 3 years and usually have very bad service experiences. This was by far the most hospitable place I’ve been to! Thanks for the great meal and making us feel so welcome in your space!”
“Amazing everything: drinks, appetizers, main courses, and service. The meats in the mains were cooked very moist and tender. The accompanying sauces are very Southeast Asian. Our server took the time to explain a bit about the kind of royal Thai cuisine and inspirations for their menu items.”
“Seriously my favorite bowl of ramen in the city. Super spicy and delicious. The broth is tasty, full bodied and very satisfying, perfectly complimenting the soft, doughy noodles. Five stars.”
“Had a great meal here on Friday night, including some of the best gluten free pasta we've ever had. Service was lovely, very professional and we were treated well. Was a nice evening out. We did make a reservation, which was ready and waiting for us. I would recommend reserving a table before hand as it gets quite busy. Can't wait to go back!”
“This is the place to go for sour beers. We ordered a bunch of 2oz pours and tried everything. The Bruschetta was unique and awesome. Risotto was great. They have a huge bottle list and sell lots of things in cans. The service was spot on and the location was great. We will be back.”
“Ken's was superb. I went at 5pm on a Thursday. There was a bit of a line at first opening but there was no line or wait after all the tables were filled. The staff is incredibly friendly! We got the asparagus and bacon pizza and the calamari. The calamari was so good. I would not skip it! The tomato and bread adds so much flavor and the Calamari paired perfectly. The pizza took a little while to come but it was worth waiting a little bit. The asparagus is the perfect flavor and texture and the bacon is not crispy. I'm not a huge vinegar fan but the garlic vinaigrette on the pizza wasn't anything I couldn't handle. The crust was good. Be sure to check your face and teeth for burnt specks before you leave. There is plenty of seating and it was not too loud. It was beautiful inside. I see why this spot is such a big hit.”
“We have been dining at Gilda’s for 6 months. Thank you to our friends Linda and Paul for introducing us to this wonderful restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious. It is a family owned restaurant and the pride of the naturally sourced ingredients is very evident. Everything is made in house. The service is exemplary! Go, you won’t be sorry!”
“I got the rib plate and it was totally amazing. The owner was a lovely lady and she was very friendly! The mac and cheese was absolutely superb! We got there before they opened and we were put on a list and were called out by name. It was worth the wait! The cabbage was absolutely delicious. The potato salad was good. The banana pudding was perfect!”
“I've been here a couple times for happy hour when it's fairly empty to grab a drink and snack. The drinks and food I've had have all been fantastic.”
“The service was great and the food was delicious. There were four of us and we all enjoyed the quiet ambiance. This is one of our favorite Portland restaurants and we are always happy with the experience.”
“The food was fantastic and I would come back in a heartbeat. They have a robust cocktail menu that took me a minute to decide on which sounded best. We were in a party of six so I got the chance to try several and they were all made well. Our server thought we said Tabouli salad when we asked for baba ghanoush but we were already full on the pita so we said we will pass on it. Downside is it was loud.”
“A fun time with a really friendly and knowledgeable owner! Pro: -If you have your heart set on the nook or any other seat, you can make a reservation in advance online. -We enjoyed their wines and found a big variation in each pour, so there should be at least one pour that will suit your group's tastes! -The owner is a delight & the cave like interior makes the experience more intimate and cozy -Get the original grilled cheese. The bread and cheese are all good quality! Con: -Reservations cost $10 per person, and that is not refunded or deducted from your balance Get there earlier in the night to ensure a seat!”
“I loved all the food we ordered and would go back again to try other menu items. Even the simple market salad was served ice cold with a great dressing. Tofu Katsu was crunchy and tasty, and the soup was excellent.”
“Food was amazing, the servers on the restaurant side were very nice and super attentive. I passed by this restaurant many times and my sister suggested we have breakfast here. The restaurant was buzzing and the ambiance and artwork were great. I will definitely go back!”
“First I want to say that the Alfredo pizza was the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. The food here is 10/10 with some of the best vegan food in all of Portland. However, the service was horrible, we had to work to get our waiters attention to get more water and asked for our bill twice before receiving it. With a no tipping policy in place I feel there was no incentive to provide good service.”
“Truly we LOVED this restaurant! It’s one of our new favorites. The place was packed on a Friday night of course but we walked in without a reservation and they were able to fit us in about 20-30 minutes. We had a cocktail while we waited. The service was amazing, everyone was super friendly and inviting, food was amazing! I had an amazing spring vegetable pasta and the crunch of the peas in it was soooo good! We will definitely be back!”
“Such a great restaurant! My wife had recently been put on a gluten and dairy free exclusion diet and they were able to accommodate and everything was still absolutely delicious. Service is phenomenal and it’s a really beautiful restaurant.”
“It's been many years since I've been here just because it's not in the best neighborhood. The service was spot on. The food was amazing. I'm already making plans to go back sooner than later.”
“I make it a point to visit Canard Burnside on all of my trips to Portland! The unique flavors and presentations on their menu keep me coming back for more. Had the roasted beets last night for the first time and the flavor was out of this world.”
“It's a nice little bar with a good DJ on the weekend. The bartender who served my drinks was top-notch! He did an excellent job for my negroni. It is worth it to try if you come to visit downtown ”
“Awesome place to visit. The craft cocktails are so good and the food is delicious. They were able to accommodate a vegetarian option. The staff were attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed the experience.”
“Was in town for a few days and came in for lunch. First time at this spot though I've been to Han Oak before. Lunch was really excellent. I went with the Ban Chan side dishes, a dol sot bowl of rice, and split the Korean fried chicken with one wing of each flavor (essence of ramen and sweet and spicy) The ban chan was quite good, especially the marinated spinach. The wings were also excellent. Beautiful crunch and flavor. One order plus the sides was enough for lunch (for me, at least). My only disappointment was the dol sot rice. It wasn't actually dol sot. There was no fried crunch on the bottom, probably because it wasn't actually cooked in this pot. Just served that way. Felt a little unnecessary. Just a side of rice will do. Service was excellent. Sat at the bar and my bartender was kind and sweet. Was lovely to be back in PDX. Will come back for lunch next time I return.”
“Comfort food at its finest. Guys working there are super chill and set us up with all their sauces. We took some time deciding what we wanted because all of it sounded so good. My brother got the trifecta combo and my husband and I each got the chicken sandwich. My only complaint is that the sandwiches were a little hard to pick up and eat just because they were so loaded. Don't let the website pictures fool you - these portions are huge (and the prices very affordable). My husband and I could have easily split one sandwich but instead have leftovers for tomorrow. :) everything just pairs well together. The menu has been well thought-out and I think we need to come back to try more!”
“Absolutely delicious food, true European ambiance, and old world hospitality. Closest thing to Germany I've experienced outside of Germany. The Chicken Schnitzl was exquisite, the Dill Pickle Soup to die for, and the potato salad was the best I've ever had, all for surprisingly reasonable prices. So impressed by this place and will put it on our restaurant rotation.”
“This place is in an alley off the most choice stretch of Division... It's got a pleasant cave-like ambiance with a hipster chandelier of feathers... the crowd was fun & diverse... the staff were kind... the best part, though, was the super creative wine list - that also offered some affordable options too! Didn't get to taste the food :/”
“My sister and I have tried 15 different pizza places in Portland and this is at the top of both of our lists, above many other amazing spots. It's incredible. Consume and thank me later.”
“Food, tasty. Beers, tasty. Sports on the TV, awesome. But what I really want to talk about is the bar stools. I have never in my life sat on a bar stool that fit my entire a$$. Thank you. I have never been so comfortable and felt so seen in an establishment. There's something truly next level about being able to sit in a seat that doesn't pinch or cut off circulation while you devour cauliflower in a lighter than air batter.”
“DING DONG we have a five star Champion! Cozy, stylish hotel bar with welcoming staff and delicious cocktails. Carmen, the bartender greeted us with a friendly smile every night during our extended stay. Coming back after dinner and enjoy a night-cap at the Driftwood made our day(s). The hotel itself is nice, but this cozy bar is the cherry on top! Thank you for your hospitality”
“The food was incredible and service to match with it. The interior decor is simple but beautiful. if you're looking for your next sushi place or wanting to check out a new place I highly recommend it.”
“Great place. We love the food and normally the service is great too. Right now, it's Portland Wing Week and they are slammed so be prepared to wait an hour or more for your food. We will go back when things slow down a bit.”
“I enjoyed the grilled vegetable platter. Also, the in-house baked, fresh piping hot out the oven pita bread was amazing with the hummus. Save room for dessert because tue baklava is amazing! Everything was so fresh! I can’t forget about the staff. He was attentive and pleasant. I look forward to visiting again soon.”
“i came here a few times, it was nice, a warm and nice meal with a kind waitress, had a nice place to sit as well, recommended. ambiance of there had a cool vibe too.”
“We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and what a treat! Our server was phenomenal and helped us make great choices for amazing food + wine pairings. The chef also accommodated my food allergies with ease. Highly recommend! We plan to return very soon.”
“Went here on a Saturday morning, party of two. We were seated at the bar. Servers were very attentive. Great service, ambiance, and food! The hotcakes looked almost too pretty to eat.”
“Great atmosphere, pretty good chewy-crust pizza. The only critique I really have was that there was a bit too much cheese and it made the pizza bit too heavy/chewy.Dietary restrictions: Options to sub for dairy free cheese”
“Soooooo glad we decided to check this place out! We went in a group of three and did two of the Succulent Pots and a leather Flask Holder! Super impressed with the quality of all the tools, variety of craft options, the two FREE drink tickets per person, and the helpfulness and knowledge of Molly who had allllll the tips and tricks for us when we (I mostly) needed support! Will definitely be returning- ambiance was great, playlist seemed catered just to us, and everyone was so friendly! Really recommend planning like fifteen minutes to find parking lol unless you’re really lucky!”
“The jojos I've been dreaming of! The fried chicken sandwich was also amazing, though i might do it without the slaw next time, just a personal thing. I'll be back! The fried chicken dinner sounded good and the desserts looked great!”
“I absolutely love the decor of The Slide Inn, it really feels like I have stepped into an entire different country when i walk in. The food AND drinks are always a win, and they have great vegan and gluten free offerings, as well! The pita and hummus plate is the best I've ever had. ?Dietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten-free”
“Shalom Y’all had been highly recommended and did not disappoint in the slightest. Unless you’re particularly adverse to train horn jumpscares (railroad beside the restaurant), the infrastructure and atmosphere are elegant and beautiful. I was comped a mixed greens salad with fantastic dressing to start and then had a Moroccan mint tea and a Shalom Y’all plate which together had to have been the best meal I’ve had in Portland since Dove Vivi. Mike provided great service. Drink menu was very thorough. Only issue is tough to park near. 10/10”
“Staying at the Hyatt a block away, I wanted a good pizza for dinner. Found Mucca on Google w/a 5 Star rating, which is rare. I was pleasantly surprised, the pizza was amazing, traditional & the crust delicious! Do yourself a favor & checkout Mucca Pizzeria!!”
“Wonderful carefully curated food. Informed and interested servers. Lovely ambiance. Fresh and inventive menu. Had a special twist on a Boulevardier cocktail. I loved it.”
“This place is great! The atmosphere is awesome. The owner is always out and about chatting with customers, not to mention she’s pretty funny! The food is phenomenal, we’ve had quite a bit off the menu, but the burger is ?Definitely recommend coming here and I’ll bet you’ll want to come back.”
“The Hotate or Sea Scallop sushi with yuzu pepper marmalade was out this world good. We also ordered the Guac N' Roll & French Quarter Roll. Excellent flavors. We didn't even need soy sauce. The Guac N' Roll has a unique presentation and the roll was balance & on point. I will recommend Yoshi to anyone interested in sushi!”

“Jumbos I’d give a 3/5 they need to work on changing there oil my fried crab puffs had a weird taste to them making me not want them and I’ve always loved eating them and the beef and broccoli”
“I've noticed that when you order take out, they give you smaller portions then when you dine in but you're still paying the same price. It feels a little bit like a scam in that sense, especially the soup containers.”
“Our business used Portland Printer Place to refurbish a lot of our OKI data printers. They have exceeded expectations with their performance and prices for their amazing service and knowledge!! I will use them for everything printer related!”

“The sandwich was wonderful warm and the delicious at 6 AM in the morning I would gladly go back and eat at this restaurant again in the future Tillamook at Portland Oregon airport”
“Salvi was the best experience I’ve had at a restaurant since getting to Portland. Their pupusas are better than my Tios and everyone is so wonderfully warm and inviting. Be sure to come by on a Wednesday for $5 pints AND pupusas!!! I did the 3 pupusas for 13 so I could try 6 different ones with my partner and every single one was amazing.”
“This place is my absolute favorite food truck. The woman that runs it is so full of kindness. The food is delicous. If they sold the peanut sauce, id buy it by the gallon!”
“I absolutely love this small Mexican food chain, the great food at a good price and open very late. The only problem I had here was that it was fairly cold in the dining room and it was freezing outside. I had hoped to enjoy eating my dinner in peace and warmth here. Other than that, I love this place and wish there were more of them around Portland.”
“Recently visited one of the best rated Ethiopian restaurants in South Africa and it was nowhere near as delicious as Lalibela. Best Ethiopian food we’ve ever had.”

“Fogo de Chao made our anniversary so special! We were greeted with kind smiles and positive attitudes. Our server, Dylan, helped guide us through the process since it was our first time here and made it seamless and far less intimidating. Food was absolutely stellar and there were more options than we could imagine. Our favorite meats were the bacon- wrapped chicken and the Picanha! We cannot wait to come back in the future!”
“Food was absolutely outstanding. Service at time was slow but it was an extremely busy night but the food overcame that minor shortfall. Beautiful views of Portland so try to get a window seat.”
“We had dinner here on a Monday evening and it was absolutely everything we hoped it would be and more. Don’t be offended by the 22% service charge - the wait staff was exceptional in every way! Erica H was our server and she gave fantastic recommendations, wonderful conversation, and even surprised us with the rooster candle as we were in town on a trip which was my son’s Christmas gift. The food was spectacular in every way. If and when we make it back to Portland, we will absolutely eat here again!”
“My husband surprised me here for my birthday. And we love this place. The scenery is beautiful and the staff is nice and the food is wonderful.Parking: Would definitely suggest using the valet to park. They are awesome”
“The wait staff was very attentive without smothering. The food was very well prepared and tasty. I had the chowder and sturgeon. The in-shell clams in the chowder were a nice touch. I will return.”
“This used to be our go-to place but we haven't been here in a while. Food was a five star, server was a 4.5. Price... pricey! $700 for 7 adults and two babies. Service was a bit slow if you consider our reservation was for 4:45 because of the babies. We politely asked to help expedite before the two 21 month olds started to get crazy on us. Thank goodness we were seated in the back corner where they could run around and make noise without being noticed. Parking lot was a huge mess as the valets left a large SUV running, on the side of the lot, blocking folks from leaving easily. Overall a very nice Mother's (and Grandmother's) Day meal.”
“The food was DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend this place! The service is quick and got seated less than a minute. Got seated in such a beautiful view of outside indoors. The service is so friendly and fun to talk to. They would always check on us to see how we were We got our food in such great timing! I got the salmon and it was the best salmon I ever had. It was so rich and soft and seasoned well. The other appetizers and desserts were so good! I would come back again. I enjoyed my strawberry mint lemonade. We got the clam chowder and it was so so creamy and the salad was so good with the top of cashews.”
“Urban Farmer is the place to do for a perfect evening. My fiancé and I had a dinner date here as we are visiting family. Can we say the perfect date night, as we had the perfect level of service! The location was perfect, and the parking was very accessible. The food was incredible, as we enjoyed the Wagyu New York Steak, the Seared Scallops, and the Urban Mac & Cheese. For dessert, we devoured the honey lavender brûlée. Thank you Urban Farmer for attending and catering to us as you did! -Suzy”
“Yet another great experience at Higgins. Amazing service. Cocktails, appetizers, main courses and dessert were all fabulous!!! Higgins is great anytime, but is also conveniently located for dinner after a show or symphony. Thank you Higgins for maintaining such high standards.”
“The strak was tender and succulent. I had it medium rare. The wait staff was less than stellar and we waited for at least 30 minutes for a waiter after being seated. Not a good look. There may have been a mistake or a table assignment error. Once the waitress came she was great. The food was excellent as usual.”
“They always have such high quality food. Love coming here when I get the chance. We got the curry and it was really good. Felt like there needed a bit more fish sauce maybe”
“Date night? Nice dinner? Unique dining? This is the place. Attended dinner here as a date night with my wife. We were very impressed with the unique dining and food! Ambiance- Departures gives a futuristic feeling of almost being in a spaceship. Very well laid out and unique! Food- the food was great. We had the steak and tuna entrées. Both were very well cooked and had wonderful flavor. Would recommend. The drinks were great as well! I ended up with their style of an old fashion and would get it again! Service- Service was what you would expect from a higher end restaurant. Server had great suggestions and was very attentive. Price- it's what you would expect from a restaurant from this caliber. Bottom line? Date night or special occasion? Just a nice dinner? Would recommend.”
“Overall the food was very good; there were a few croutons in the lobster bisque that tasted stale though; the flavors of the dinner were great overall, but it appeared that the sauces were not well distributed through the Chile Bass Oscar and the associated vegetables; some of the potato puree seemed bland and other parts were flavorful, and the same with the sea bass, as if they were labeled on at the last min instead of cooked in certain sauces; normally I wouldn't mind, but for a $205 dinner i would expect more. As always the raw oysters and bag of chocolate and fruit with custard were superlative;”
“The food is fantastic! Only issue is that the bottomless mimosas for brunch that they advertise isn’t the real deal. They have a 6 drink per person limit which they do not advertise in the fine print. I wouldn’t go here for brunch as it doesn’t seem the staff is really prepared for it. Overall a very good experience just mimosa fans be warned it’s not truly bottomless.”

“The food is excellent and the staff is very nice! Also, they fulfill as ordered. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood! (PS - I want to add we've actually gotten food four times here so far, consistently a pleasure as stated, so not just a one-time thing!)”
“Eager to celebrate the Chinese New Year, my friend and I were craving Chinese food and decided to give Warsugai a try. I'm glad we did! The restaurant is lovely with mint tiles surrounding the bar, a waving kitty on the wall, and plants around the perimeter. The door was opened for us as we entered, and we were seated quickly. Since we wanted to be adventurous and try multiple items on the menu, my friend and I decided to order the Pu Pu Platter. Not really a platter though, our food came out individually and took up the majority of our table. Ours came with the Silken Ota Tofu, Noble House Pork Potstickers, Dungeness Crab Long Rangoon, BBQ Pork Coppa, Sizzling Black Pepper Beef Short Ribs, Taishan Cauliflower, and Warsugai. Everything was flavorful and delicious, so it was hard to pick favorite items. Although I'm not usually a fan of tofu, I enjoyed the differing textures of the soft tofu and crispy potato and scallions. The crab rangoon was amazing! No imitation crab here...Fresh crab rolled up in a spring roll fashion and served with a chili sauce. Yum! We also enjoyed the bbq pork coppa which came with a dollop of mustard which complimented the pork nicely. Finally, the Warsugai itself was delicious. Lightly fried chicken which was not overly heavy or greasy topped with almond gravy and almond slivers on a bed of shredded lettuce. So good! Your server will check you out at your table which is convenient, but also a little awkward since he or she will be in front of you when the machine prompts for a tip and a rating of your meal and service. This was not a deterrent since everything was wonderful. Hoping they will add a dessert item or two to the menu someday. We loved our experience at Warsugai and look forward to elevated Chinese food again soon!”
“Such a cool spot! The vibes are fun and friendly. The sweetest staff with great recommendations. We drove from newberg for one drink and obviously stayed for more and ended up closing the place down. We will definitely be back. Thank you ladies for a great little night out.”
“Great to see Dub back! We had the chicken strips with Cole slaw, greens, and fries. Everything was as good as ever, and the new location is easier to get to, and has easy parking.”
“Crews are very kind and caring for customers. Owner lady is a very helpful and generous. Foods are good. We love sushi dishes. Dragon roll is a little bit spicy but so delicious and tasty. My kids love to eat ramen noodles, I ordered a General Tao Chicken and Lo mein noodles those were great and so yummy.!”
“I ordered through the Subway app and picked up in store. I was greeted with a hello right as I entered! I turned out they were out of the footlong churros, but the man who helped me had no problem issuing a refund for it.These were probably the most picturesque sandwiches I've ever gotten from Subway! We will absolutely order from here again!”
Delicious!”
