She ordered the Pasta Alla Lurida—rich, delicious, and generous enough to bring some home. I had the Guancia Di Manzo, which was absolutely amazing; the meat was melt‑in‑your‑mouth, fork‑tender perfection. For dessert, we enjoyed a pastry crafted to look exactly like a ripe lemon. The shell was filled with a wonderfully smooth, flavorful filling, and we were both amazed at how realistic it looked. If you’re looking for a truly great dining experience, I highly recommend Sarrica’s.”

Perfect wine to match my exquisite dish for dinner. I still think about it to this day. I remember it was raining heavy outside, and on inside it just felt like cinema. I hope one day I return back so I can enjoy another dish. Anything that has to do with duck I strongly recommend. I also tried the lump crabcakes, it was OK. I think it was overshadowed by how good the duck meal was. Still, I recommend this place to anyone you will not be disappointed.”

I informed her that my shrimp was over cooked and was very hard to chew. She said she would inform the manager….we waited 8 minutes and no manager came. We watched him walk back and forth without ever acknowledging me. When the waitress passed back I asked her what did he say, she said oh, he said that how they cook it. Finally after 5 minutes or so he came, saw and said him self that my shrimp was overcooked and that he’ll be back. I waited and waited he never came back. I had the shrimp poboy that had a total of 5 and a half shrimp on it. It was like they took pieces of crust and stuck it between bread. My friend got up and stopped him to ask what’s going on because he never came back. He told her that I couldn’t be accommodated because I ate some it. They were all very unprofessional. I’ll never go back there. That definitely not how you handle business and the customer.”

“I ventured to Lafayette to attend Festival International. Since I had the morning and most of the afternoon free the day after my arrival I decided to head to Vermillionville to explore the historic village and have lunch at La Cuisine de Maman. What a great decision!! The food at the restaurant was delicious. I had the plate lunch with a cup of seafood gumbo to start. Everything was really good. The plate lunch that day was crawfish etouffee over rice, smothered green beans, fried shrimp with tartar sauce, and a big biscuit. Portions were very generous; I thought that some of the food might overflow onto the table.😊 I didn't have room for dessert; although I've since been told by lots of people that I should have taken it with me. After eating, I explored the village. What an amazing blend of history and culture it is! I can't wait to return.”

“This entire experience was a 10/10. The service was amazing, our server Josiah was fantastic, he was knowledgeable and extremely personable. The cook, I didn't catch her name, was so friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. She interacted with us multiple times and talked about how much she enjoyed preparing the food we ordered. The atmosphere is perfect for date night. It is a quiet, calm, relaxed, and traditional French atmosphere. The food is amazing, everything we ordered was more delicious than the last thing. The foie gras mousse may be the best thing I've ever tasted! A couple of things to note before you go: This is NOT fast food! Don't think this is the place to grab a nice dinner before an 8pm movie. Dinner is in the traditional French style and takes 2.5 to 3 hours, ENJOY it! They take your entire order up front, all 3 courses. This is important to keep the timing of the preparation. Everything is prepared when ordered so it is an amazing experience. Please understand these things before you go and then get upset because it takes a while. Be patient and have some amazing wine and bread and relax! I promise it is worth it.”

Came on recommendation from two different locals who said this was the best restaurant in Lafayette. We were not disappointed. Reservations were needed, but the hostess was able to accommodate us by the kitchen. It worked out GREAT. Was able to see the chef, Sullivan, and his crew perform their magic on each of the dishes. Every member of the staff was very friendly - from the hostess, servers, chef, our waiter Zach, and the general manager Aaron. Just get two orders of the Roasted Oysters to start. Trust me on this one. Even the Mac and Cheese was delicious! The creme brulee was delectably perfect. Get it! If cocktails are your jam, you won't be disappointed with the selection. My only gripe was that it was very loud on a Saturday at 7 PM. Felt like it was a night club. Made conversation challenging at times. If you need to change diapers, the unisex bathrooms will have accommodations for your baby. A thoughtful touch. Will definitely return if I ever come back to Lafayette.”

We rented from 5-9 and it was perfect, there was lots of parking when we arrived. The place was crowded but not overly/ towards 9 o’clock it got very crowded but SUCH a fun vibe!
