“Amazing bar. Very classy, excellent, expertly made cocktails. I was especially impressed that the bartender knew the recipe for an Alaska cocktail, which is quite obscure. One of the best places for a classy drink in the French Quarter.”

“The warmth and hospitality of everyone we met was truly remarkable! Exploring the rich Senegalese culture and delving into the captivating tales behind each dish was an unforgettable experience. Chef Serigne Mbaye masterfully crafted a dining experience that was not only exquisite but also a true celebration of culinary artistry. The passion and dedication infused into every dish were evident with every single bite. This was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all expectations.”
“This place had such a mom & pop vibe! The best fried bologna sandwich I've ever had. French fries were hot and fresh as well. Highly recommended this place and it's worth the wait in line.”
“It was a HOT day in July today so we were thankful to find Jay’s Place upstairs (with air conditioning.) The food was amazing and our servers were wonderful. We’ll definitely be back to try other poboys! Thanks, y’all!”
“I have passed Fives multiple times, been meaning to stop in and finally did on last night w| a friend who was visiting.
We stopped by on a Tuesday, that is of course a pretty slow day in the city so it was pretty dead. We sat on the cocktail bar side and we were greeted by a super nice bartender— I can’t remember her name, but she had loads of energy!! We ordered a few oysters and they were hands downs some of the best oysters I’ve tasted. My favorites were the Mon Louis, such a great, clean taste. My drinks were extremely good. I could have sat there all night stuffing my face a drinking.
I wasn’t aware that Fives is owned by the same people who own The Columns, makes sense because food and drinks are always perfection there as well.
Fives is located in Jackson Square, prime location for tourists as it is centrally located in the Quarter. The space is limited, If you are expecting a full blown out restaurant, this isn’t the location. Fives is truly a cocktail/oyster bar. I believe I saw a total of four tables in each corner w| four chairs to each table.
This will certainly become a new spot for me to hang.”

Entrees were fresh and delicious, while being new takes on American cuisine. Staff was eager to please while not being snide or fake. Opinions were honest and questions were thoroughly answered. “Stopped by for dinner on our recent NOLA trip. Plenty vegetarian options on the menu, we tried garlic naan which was quite flavorful and kadai paneer, although well done was a bit bland for my Indian taste buds.”
“Fabulous! Family, History, great food, awesome wall pictures”

“IMO its a keeper and a great addition to the rotation. Great ambience. I vacillated on what to order and a last minute switch from the lobster black gnocchi to the veal chop was a good move. Started with the blue crab beignets and a martini (for me) then the veal chop which was delicious and perfectly prepared. For desert I had the creme brûlée bread pudding and espresso. My part of the bill was $125 and it was money well spent.”

“07/11/2024 - First time visiting Le Bon Temps Roule and I had a great time. Le Bon Temps
Roule is a bar and sandwich shop. Decent cocktails. Cool crowd. Pool tables. An outdoor space. It is also a music venue. There’s a stage, lighting, and sounds. I planned to see the Soul Rebels at Le Bon Temps Roule and they showed up with horns, percussions, and light vocals. Awesome band! Thank you!! Nearby street parking. Some areas require payment for parking.”
“Got the Muffaletta from this takeout deli and feasted on it! Ranked among top 5 Muffalettas in NOLA by Wall St Journal. The best Muffaletta we had in our trip.
Flavorful olive salad and plentiful meat.”

“Great atmosphere. Fast service. The beignets are generous and affordable. Cash only so come prepared.”
“We found this bar by chance while seeking shelter from the rain. It has a quirky theme centered around toilets, which adds a fun touch. Keep in mind, they only accept cash. The drinks here are big and pack a punch, starting at around $6 for basic options. Expect to mingle with a local crowd.”
“We enjoyed our experience at this spot at 6AM when the energy was still right and everyone else was sleep. We will definitely be back to catch a vibe !”
“Awesome place awesome drinks awesome bartender and tour guide. Her name is Yah Yah Universe”
“I’ve heard the bartenders are great here and this is the place. I went Monday night, the bartender was ugly af. He knocked over a whole glass of wine on my friend and was unapologetic. Then charge my friend $6 for a Water. He said he was new lol We are service industry, we tip. The disrespect is not okay.”
“We made this place a stop on our celebration of my youngest's 21st birthday pub crawl, and enjoyed our visit and drinks! We went upstairs where we could toss some beads from the balcony and had a great drink and chat with the bartender, who gave us some good ideas on other places to visit. Everyone was friendly, the place felt clean, and the atmosphere was great. Thank you for being part of our evening!”
“Daniel was the best bar tender and all the local patrons made us feel like family. Thanks, guys.”
“If you want a local experience, this is the place. Quiet. Friendly bar keeps. Clean bathrooms. Decent selection of beer. There is also a full bar, I am confident that s decent cocktail can be made here. Cheers”
“First Aunt Tiki’s experience was about 15 years ago. This year my wife let me bring the kids. My 23 year old and I went to see my Cowboys get beat on Christmas Eve. Love this bar. New and fantastic every time I sneak in. Unfortunately after I left, in the rain, slip sliding over to Bourbon St. I eventually slipped my best slip and fractured my fibula, skinned my knees and scabbed up my forehead. I’m paying for it now but it was an epic adventure. Love all of you there but I’m gonna give the old liver a break for a while. 10 out of 10 if you’re cool!”

“A magazine review brought us to this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Entering our 8th decade on earth we were concerned with the portion size but were extremely pleased. All three courses (Wednesdays and Thursdays) were completed and we were not "stuffed". Next time it's five courses because we don't want to miss out on any of the good food. To say service was exemplary would be an understatement. Each dish was delivered and explained which added to the overall satisfaction. Hope we will be able to greet you there on our next visit (real soon).”
“Chemin a la Mer has a beautiful view of the river and absolutely terrific food. I had the: hamachi crudo baked feta Australian Wagyu skirt steak and frites crème brûlée Everything was perfect. Wonderful experience.”
“Attentive, old-school service. The house martini was one of the best I've had. Had the thick cut New York with Cajun butter. Super delicious. For sides, tangy Caesar salad, loaded baked potato, perfectly cooked asparagus, & mushrooms. This place is worth the money.”
“Learned about the Mosquito Supper Club when, after Hurricane Ida devastated Terrebonne Parish, Ms. Martin started a fun raiser to help the people in Terrebonne Parish that make a living supplying local seafood to the community and beyond. I purchased her first cookbook for myself and family. And finally, last Friday night, June 21, I made it to the Supper Club. I was joined by my wife, my oldest daughter and her husband, and our best friends for an amazing dinner. Service was above excellent. Every course was expertly prepared and made with local seafood. As every course was brought to the table, we all were commenting on excellent marriage of tastes making this one of the best dining experiences ever. If you are looking for fine China, linen table cloths, and crystal chandeliers , this probably is not the restaraunt for you. But if you are looking for local, fresh seafood prepared according to past down recipes from Terrebonne Parish, if you are looking for great food , this is a must !”
“Originally gave this place a negative review because they cancelled my reservation last minute due to a private event through the hotel they are affiliated with. The chef reached out to me personally and sincerely wanted treat my family and I to a different day. I really appreciated this gesture and really enjoyed the food that was prepared for us. Glad to see new omakase places coming to New Orleans. This place was great and food was fresh. Flavors were awesome. Give this place a try and I will be a return customer.”
“Spectacular property within new building so air conditioning works great and no mold in the ventilation system like many older hotels in NOLA! Love the rooftop pool, rooms, bars, restaurants, lobby remote work area and library, location, VIBE! Spend the extra $$! #YOLO!”
“Our first time dining there and they didn’t disappoint! The service was perfect from the moment we walked in. The waiter was at the table to greet us immediately and promptly took our drink order. They started us off with a complimentary meatball served with a basket of garlic bread and they even put a candle in my mother’s as we were celebrating her 87th birthday. We ordered several appetizers including the crab cakes which were the best I’ve ever had. The beef carpaccio was so good we ordered it a second time and the entrees were equally as delicious. After the meal they brought out a red velvet brownie with a candle in it for my mother and the other tables in our seating area joined us in singing happy birthday to her. She was more than thrilled! We ordered a few desserts to share and the tiramisu was fabulous, in fact it was so good we ordered a second! Needless to say this was a spectacular dining experience.”
“I have been to Yo Nashi twice and can’t wait to go again. Having been to many sushi restaurants around the world, I can easily say this was one of the best. The sushi is fresh and the dishes are creative, one of a kind and beautifully presented. The bartender suggested excellent drinks paired with our dinner choices. The atmosphere is intimate and perfect for conversation. Hosts are gracious and very thoughtful. I always recommend Yo Nashi to friends visiting New Orleans.”
“great romantic vibe.. perfect date night..we enjoyed it!”

“what a wonderful little place! my partner & i were in town visiting for a week & out of every where we ate, this place REALLY stood out. the atmosphere is very cozy with “home cooked meal” vibes. they also serve drinks (hence the name) & on mondays they have a lasagna special which was soooo tasty. the staff is also very very sweet, they gave us amazing recommendations & remembered our faces by the second time we walked in. it felt very personal & warm. they have kind of an “open kitchen” concept which i think really adds to the ambiance. it feels like youre at a friends house for dinner & drinks. love love love!”
“Extensive Market Knowledge:** Suzan Mchugh extensive market knowledge positions her as a resourceful source for understanding global economic trends. Investors benefit from insights that go beyond the immediate investment landscape, providing a broader perspective.”

“Excellent music, good (and cheap) drinks, chill and friendly atmosphere.”
“This is a wonderfully comfortable, friendly Vietnamese restaurant in the Lower Garden. It also happens to have what I think is the absolute best pho ga in town. I have never had better chicken broth. The portions on everything are very generous as well. We are always welcomed warmly and they even know our "regular" order. I almost always get the pho ga, and my husband goes for the beef vermicelli bowl with a side of nem, though he has also had the beef pho. The fresh shrimp spring rolls are really delicious as well. Can't say enough good things about this lovely little spot.”
“Fantastic place with that old corner-bar feel. Friendly staff and a literal “wall o’beer”. We visited this place three times in the week we were in NOLA and loved the atmosphere every time we were there.”
“I have been sending people to Bar Tonique for close to a year from my position as liquor vault manager at the Sazerac House. So many return to tell me what a great experience they had & to thank me for recommending it. I have left the position at Sazerac House & won't be sending any more from there, Good luck to all the craftsmen & women behind this truly wonderful place!”
“What a.stunning wine list! Both eclectic and a great value! Food is also outstanding….”
“Food experience that you will never forget. Love this place!”
“10/10 experience. We ordered half of the menu and everything was absolutely delicious. My favorites were the fried green tomatoes, cauliflower, and Brussels. Excited to return.
Also super cute that a scratch off came with the check. ?”
“Great place! By far best place we ate while visiting New Orleans. Wonderful food, atmosphere, and service! If you like to try small plates and different foods then this is the place to go!”
“This fully vegan cafe was incredible. Walkable from my hotel, and close to, but not in, the French quarter so it wasn't overly crowded. The pumpkin cheddar biscuit sandwich was so tasty, as were the brioche donuts!”
“Beautiful building, terrific service, and spectacular food. The Texas quail was phenomenal, and the bread pudding was the best I’ve ever had.”
“Most amazing staff and the wine and food pairing recommendations were perfect.”
“We ate here this evening and everything was divine! We had the lane snapper with couscous, green beans and olive vinaigrette on top. We also had blue crab beignets and the cucumber salad. For dessert we had the chocolate “something” with salted caramel ice cream on top, chocolate mousse and candied hazelnuts on the side. FANTASTIC! Oh ya, and the coffee was perfect with dessert. Must try when in NOLA.”

“Hidden gem in mid-city. Been to Ralph's several times for Brunch, lunch and dinner. Can't beat the views of City Park and friendly atmosphere. Food is great as are the drinks. Wait staff are well trained and very friendly. You can't go wrong with any of the food here, but your server is always happy to make a recommendation.”
“Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. I will definitely return.”
“Great food and service. This was our first eating experience in New Orleans. Gallier’s set the bar high. We enjoyed the red snapper and seafood platter for lunch.”
“We went yesterday and the wait was 2 hours. Got there a little earlier today and we got in. I’ve eaten at the Uptown location and was so happy they opened up another one that’s closer. It was my daughter’s first time and she said the food is so good and understands why there is a wait.”
“Absolutely everything I’ve had here has been delicious! I love their food.”
“The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The wait wasn’t that long, even though they were busy. They also have lots of gluten free options. And Miss Shirley is always so sweet. She’s works her butt off and always makes sure to saw hello to everyone. And she’ll sneak lollipops to little kids.”
“Absolutely amazing tacos, drinks, and vibe. Homemade flour and black corn tortillas. Staff are super nice, great amenities, and overall excellent service!
Kid-friendliness: Park right across from restaurant and kids can run around outside”
“Jessica was our cocktail waitress when we were there last weekend for my 40th birthday. She was such a pleasure and delight. The Ramos Gin Fizz was amazing and out of this world - I'm still dreaming of that cocktail. What a lovely way to close out our trip and experience in NoLa. Amazing hospitality and such great staff (cocktail service, quality, ambience, water refill, everything). Amazing!”
“I’m a local who has dined at many N.O. restaurants and Cafe Amelie is my favorite. Charming atmosphere and THE BEST food and drinks!”
“So amazing!! Elevated twists on the dishes!! Great atmosphere, and an incredible experience!! Never disappoints!!”
“Restaurant was about a mile from our hotel on St Charles. We should have made a reservation for a Saturday night (even though we ate on the later side). We ended up having to do first come first serve at the bar which was awkward as there wasn't really any place to sit and wait, especially as we had to box out others for our turn at the bar seats. However, once we were settled, the service was fairly quick and the food was good. The pasta especially was done well with just the right amount of heat on the rigatoni for me. I think they must make the pasta as it was also very fresh. I did find the lack of bread odd though. We split dessert, which was something we hadn't tried before, but it was good as well.”
“Stellar food, service, and atmosphere!”
“The bengiets are show stoppers I had a traditional and a sweet potato stuffed so delicious….BUT there is more they have REAL New Orleans food, gumbo , Cajun shrimp and grits . An absolute must when visiting New Orleans!!”

“Absolutely amazing fish ceviche! Definitely the freshest bite we had all weekend ?! Also split the beef arepa with spicy aji, bold flavor tender meat.
Excellent lunch spot!”
“Amazing restaurant. Thanks Francesca and staff for a great meal.”
“Attentive, old-school service. The house martini was one of the best I've had. Had the thick cut New York with Cajun butter. Super delicious. For sides, tangy Caesar salad, loaded baked potato, perfectly cooked asparagus, & mushrooms. This place is worth the money.”
“Absolutely excellent all around. Everyone at our table loved what they ordered. The duck special was fantastic. For a memorable meal, you can’t go wrong.”
“Fantastic oyster happy hour 4-6 every day, with a huge selection from all over North America. Eggplant doughnut is delicious, and it's so great to try new preparations of this veggie. Our server Tristan was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, offering suggestions that were spot on. We will definitely have to come back to try some more dishes.”
“Loved eating in the courtyard last night. Service was awesome!”
“great food and service the stuffed crab lunch was delicious as always”
“Above all, you MUST order the seared scallops and artichoke appetizer. Fan-freaking-tactic! The Black Manhattan is excellent — except is was stirred long enough so it was nearly lukewarm when brought to the table. Great flavor, but disappointed at how warm it was. (An extra point for Luxardo cherries. Seriously. How can a restaurant claim they serve cocktails if they don’t use Luxardo cherries????)”
“Went for lunch for my daughter’s 21st birthday. The greeter was super-sweet, and our server, Gabby, was amazing! Food, drinks and atmosphere were top-notch! Can’t wait to go back!”

“Wonderful, fresh food, lovely hostess (Miss D) remembered us, the boss, Jason, did as much grunt work as anyone else on the floor, and though seating stops around 8pm, we were never rushed. Of special note are the brussels sprouts, the little cabbage that everyone loves to hate, which was sweet and crispy and barely recognizable as the same vegetable you refused as a kid. Don't neglect the desserts, particularly their pecan pie, which approaches heaven on a plate. Fish and seafood that is breaded is breaded lightly and cooked just right. Convenient location, pleasant atmosphere, decent prices. I love this place!”
“I love the Braised Beef and get that everytime we go to YOCI. However, this time, the meat was tough and dry, with a lot of gravy poured over it. I actually had to cut it with a knife! I did tell our waiter, and showed him the large chunk of meat. He immediately asked if I wanted something else. Yes. The Fish was perfect!”
“I have been to August many times and it never disappoints. One of the most upscale dinning experiences in New Orleans. The food is always amazing and the service impeccable.”
“One of the best dining experiences my wife and I ever had. It is a true culinary delight that awakens your taste buds. Braiden was an excellent server who takes pride in his work and it shows! Thank you for a wonderful evening.”
“Dark, moody ambiance perfect for relaxing and chatting calmly. We got the very rose-flavored but balanced Sub Rosa, roasted chickpeas, and almond-olive platter. Everything was the kind of good that surprises you because it's so much better than you even expected it to be.
Make reservations if you're going on a Friday or Saturday!”
“Perfect place for a sports lover or food lover or someone wanting a drink in a comfortable and fun setting!”
“I found Brigtsen's About 15 years ago. I have since been there 10 times over the years on vacation. I go to all the fine dining restaurants In NOLA. No matter where I go. Brigtsen's is consistently the best meal of my trip. I just had the pork chop last week in was so delicious. This is truly one of the best restaurants in America. One of my favorite visits is when Frank is there so that I get to say hello. There are not many restaurants were a famous chef is actually there . I try to save room for the pecan pie but I'm not always successful. The menu is so good with choices I get too full. The service is also excellent. So in ending, I could go on for days, I'll just say. When your in New Orleans check out Brigtsen's. It's ok to thank me with every bite.”
“I can’t rave about this place enough. It was incredible. I’ve been fortunate to eat a lot of amazing food in my life and this was one of the simplest (in the best way possible), but most amazing meals I’ve ever had. The lettuce for our salad looked like it was fresh picked that day and the pizza crust was, just wow. And the burrata. Y’all. Go there. Now.”
“Amazing food! Incredible flavor profile! Great ambiance! I will definitely eat here again!!”
“(Visited in February 2024)
Still dreaming about the perfect French 75 we had here. It was a gorgeous 75 degree day in February. We did a historical walking tour, and then came into the bar to get a little refreshment before our next adventure. The cocktails were cold. The service was great! We cannot wait to come back on our next visit to the city!”
“Our family visited Saffron for the first time to celebrate my wife’s bday, and couldn’t be happier with the all around service this restaurant and staff provided. From a warm welcoming and an on time reservation, to a cute & cozy ambiance through great hospitality service, superb cocktails, appetizers and entree options. Every dish was delicious.Even the main chef, was kind enough and took time to stop by to welcome us and share some history around some aspects of the Indian cuisine and history. If in the area, this restaurant must be in your list. You will not be disappointed. Thank ya’ll for the great experience. The Hernandez’s, Atlanta, GA”
“Amazing cocktails! Food was delicious. The bar has great atmosphere, and the drink menu is incredible! So much creativity and care. Love this place!”
“Went for a birthday weekend diner. Atmosphere is classic New Orleans. Tables spaced apart well and wasn’t super noisy when full. Ordered the frogs legs and shrimp appetizers. Frogs legs were the highlight. Super tender, lightly battered and when drizzled with lemon…wow. Fortunately my wife couldn’t bring herself to eating frogs legs. Shrimp were great. Fantastic seafood gumbo. I got the duck with a great sauce. Wife got a fish dish cooked perfectly tender she really liked. Desert was very good also. Restaurant highlight for the weekend.”
“Silk Road is a bit off the beaten path, but we were very interested in trying the restaurant. The reviews looked great, but they were old. We are so glad that we ate dinner here. We ate outside as it was a beautiful evening and the inside didn't appeal to us. The food was amazing and the prices incredibly (almost unbelievably) reasonable. Apparently the chef has been there for 10 years and continues to wow the staff with his creativity and quality delicious dishes. We can't agree more. Usually we don't repeat a restaurant when we are on vacation because there are so many to try in a short period of time. This food was so delicious, we will partake again before we leave. As a side note, my husband is gluten free and there were a number of options for him. His red curry dish was wonderful, as was my tikki masala.”
“Our party of 8, all locals, had such a fun night. I highly recommend the Queso and the coconut rice...so delicious. We had every taco on the menu and they were all super tasty. My favorites were the fried chicken and the coconut shrimp. The highlight was our amazing server, Cynthia. So informative, friendly and on top of everything. We were very impressed with all of the staff that made sure we were taken care of. Thanks for a fantastic dinner. We will spread the word about Mr Oso!”
“Love The Will & The Way! We happened upon it in 2021 and stop by every time we’re in NOLA♥️”

“Went to Nola to seek shelter from.the storm. Stayed at the famous Monteleon. Breakfast was excellent. Service was tops. Like being nurtured. Brandy punch at 8 am.”
“Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired. Our waitress barely stopped by to check on us. The food was fantastic. The charbroiled oysters were plump and meaty. The gumbo and coleslaw were both very flavorful. And the fried fish dinner was also fantastic. Is the service was anywhere near the quality of the food I would recommend 100%.”
“The food was amazing. The portions were great. Myself along with my daughter and fiancé dinned in and my Watriess was amazing..”

“As a chef, in a party of 11, on a holiday weekend, during a festival, and we had a superb experience. We were greeted warmly, had a few moments in the atrium to take some beautiful photos and then we were escorted to a beautifully assembled table. Our server and table assistant we’ve very attentive and informative. Our food was prompt and delicious. Everyone took photos, chatted happily and enjoyed their meals so much. We didn’t experience a single issue during our meal and we all, enjoyed every moment. Thank you Brennan’s, for providing an exceptional experience.”

“This was by far one of the most superior dining experiences we’ve ever had! The food was delightful, drinks were delicious, but the absolute highlight of our evening was Kevin, our waiter. He was the most attentive, thorough, knowledgeable, fun, and magnificent man and server! Not only was our evening one to remember, but Kevin made our trip absolutely worth it. Run, don’t walk, to have dinner here! You will be so glad you did!!”
“My bestie and I visited Monday during Essence Fest Weekend and had the best server Centorrey. She was very attentive and honest from the time we sat down til the time we departed. Her customer service was A+++ Centorrey made coming to this restaurant a joy that I had to see her manager personally and verbally tell him what an amazing job she did. Thank you so much Centorrey and Hadji (Manager) for a great experience. The food and drinks were on point as well just removed those little airplane fans because that do nothing for that NOLA heat. I'll see you guys on my next visit”
“I love this restaurant! The food is beautifully prepared and presented. It is consistently good. It is a must for me anytime In in New Orleans. The andouille crusted Gulf fish is certainly fitting, but not "heavy.". Salads are fresh. A great New Orleans vibe.”

“Are you tired of fast food and want something solid? Here is a hidden treasure of nola flavor. The staff is very friendly, efficient and clean. The place has so much character and uniqueness to dine in, but takeout is an option. The food is mouth-watering good. The food is seasoned well, homemade, and delicious. You will want to come again.”
“Falling in love with this place! Clean and a great vibe. As for the food, everything has been incredible! The wings and Korean burger and sweet potato fries at the Bywater Burger place were insanely good! LOVED the poke from the Poke spot, the sugarcane and teas from Suga, and DEFINITELY bought a bunch of things from the Bakery-- the almond croissant, chocolate mousse, and stuffed cinnamon rolls were delicious!
We went 2 days in a row! Will be back for more.”
