Absolutely amazing! The food is fantastic, with fresh seafood and a nice twist on traditional NOLA dishes. We came here the first visit for fresh oysters which were perfect. The food, service, and atmosphere were so wonderful that we came back, not just once more for dinner, but also for breakfast and bloody Mary's on the day we were flying out of NOLA! Do not pass this place up!
This place was a very pleasant surprise. My wife and I stopped in for brunch and bottomless mimosas. The service, food, and facilities were all top of the line. Alvaro, our waiter, was full of personality and very enthusiastic about his work and the restaurant. We will be coming back every chance we get.
Great raw oysters and warm, friendly service. It is not easy to please an entire family of five with a tween and two teens, but they did. We were not as chic as other customers, but that did not affect our treatment. If your experience is consistent with ours, you will leave happy.
Find this place, raw oyster and drinks happy hour from 3-7pm $9 a dozen... Simple menu with excellent food. Went twice during my week long trip. Once for beer and raw oysters only, and once for the menu food. Great stuff, staff is super nice and friendly.
This was a diamond in the rough. Daisy Duke's is next door but this place caught our eye. It's classic New Orleans fare that tastes like a home cooked meal in a chic new location. Service was personable and knowledgeable, and the food was hot and fresh. Excellent draft beer selection as well as cocktails. Great experience and look forward to trying brunch!

This place would standout in any city. It's amazing, hard to compare it to anywhere else. A true 5 star restaurant. The cost of the food, plus the style and amazing taste, plus the good portion size equals an amazing meal. Dress to impress though, as there is a dress code. This place was the highlight of trip. This place is not just good for New Orleans, it's what I will compare other places to from now on.
Went in with high expectations and was not disappointed. I also appreciated the courtesy with which the employees treated our guests. Server didn't have me taste the wine before pouring, though, which was odd, and a little disappointing (as it wasn't a great glass, in the end). Just something to note, I suppose. Overall, however, it was a pleasant experience. Five stars, despite having better or equally good meals elsewhere.
Great experience. Excellent service. Excellent food. The wait staff were very knowledgeable about their menu and offered great suggestions on food.
i had a dinner at the bar. The food and drinks are good, but not as much as tasty as i expected. despite the restaurant is high-class (no t-shirts allowed), the ambient is very noisy! After dinner I asked the bartender if they could prepare a decaf espresso. He said yes, and simply prepared me a regular espresso, so i couldnt sleep the whole night... Definitely overpriced!
If someone were to ask me, "What's your favorite dish?" I would say, "crispy pork belly AND sizzling oysters from GW Finns in New Orleans French Quarter." This will hands down be my "MUST DO" when you visit New Orleans. The atmosphere is upscale. The bar is open and welcoming. The staff is super pleasant from the front door, and bar to table. Our server, Fallon, was so helpful with all gluten-free options! I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant, it's management, and it's amazing food!

I love this restaurant! Each manager and server work hard to accommodate each table. Jennifer has been my favorite since my first visit. Julio is a gem, he is always working hard under pressure. My husband and I visit mainly during Sunday Brunch, always bringing in new customers with us. We have tried just about every item on the menu and they do not disappoint. BBQ Shrimp, Crispy Boudin Balls, Blue Crab Bisque,Blue Crab Omelet, Benny!Benny!Benny! Shrimp and Grits.........etc etc. BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS are always flowing. Be sure to TIP GENEROUSLY NOTE: If you go for Brunch please bring patience as they usually have a lot of large parties.
Wonderful restaurant with delicious food and great service. The shrimp and grits are the best I've ever had and highly recommend the Tennessee Taste on the dinner menu. Love it that it's NOT like the restaurants in French quarter, which are packed with crowds and overpriced fried food. Great atmosphere.
Happy hour!! $9 per dozen. Awesome deal and they don't skimp with little ones. The soup du hour comes with half a French bread too. Delicious!!
loved the atmosphere. the food was definitely missing flavor, but it was enjoyable and the staff is extremely friendly and professional. thank you Julio.
Falon was our server and she was great! My 11 year old son said this about the food, "it was perfect, the seasoning," He ate his food and food from me and his Dad. This will he a regular stop when we are in New Orleans.

My go to restaurant when I visit New Orleans! The staff is genuine, and warm, you feel like they are glad to host you. Seriously, I could go on, about how great the people are, but I don't want to underscore the quality of the food. Carmo features unique vegan and vegetarian friendly food at fair prices. The quality is amazing, the portions are ample, even the plating stands out. This place proves that as a customer, you don't have to make sacrifices if you want dine on vegan or vegetarian cuisine. To be clear, I've taken several friends here, all omnivores and all loved it. Please open a location in Baton Rouge!
Delicious! I'm not a vegan, but I had vegan choices. The salads were yummy and the chocolate coffee pecan cake was fabulous! All the people are sweet and helpful, especially the owner!!! You need to try it and you won't be disappointed!
Sooooo good! This restaurant offers so many amazing options for those with any dietary preferences. I had a vegetarian Rico and passion fruit mousse, and it was easily the best meal I had all week. Plus, their food is sustainably sourced, which is always a plus!
I had the vegan version of the Esmeralda salad. It was amazing. The flavors are wonderful and mix well together. If the rest of their food tastes as good as this, you have to give them a try. Everyone working there is friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back.
5* for the food and the service. I had vegan and nod vegan options.. and both were great. The tuna sandwich was delicious, same thing for the broken noodles salad. Even the coconut water was really good. I wanted to try the ceviche, but it was out of order that day.

The food was ok, plenty of it we ordered the seafood platter. We had a waitress that was rushing us to eat. We could hardly get the food in our mouth before she would come by and take the plate from us. I had a salad and she took my salad as I was eating it.i dislike service like this, I understand that there was not much seating but if I am paying do not rush me to leave. That took away from the food regardless how good the food maybe. I will not visit this place again.
Mr. Ed's was recommended by a recent local while travelling on the streetcar. As we stepped in, immediately greeted and seated. Ordered fried seafood platter, salad, and crab cakes. My salad was good. The platter was a generous amount of seafood. However, my daughter's crab cakes were mush. When she told the waitress, she called for the manager. My daughter is a culinary arts student and found the crab cakes to be unsatisfying. The manager explained real crab was used and that is how their crab cakes were made. She offered to let her order something else, but would still be charged for crab cakes🤤 What happened to customer satisfaction and comping the dish, she hadn't even eaten the remaining 3 of the 4 cakes. We took the leftovers. As we waited on the streetcar, we saw a homeless man and gave the food to him. He thanked us and said he was just talking to his wife about finding something to eat. Well, something good came out of it..
Great staff and fantastic food!! Definitely a highlight of my trip to NOLA ❤️ UPDATE!!! I just got back from another trip to NOLA. Visited 3 more times during my stay... delicious and fun! I love this place!
With sick companion, I went out of take-out into the Quarter. Boy did I get lucky. Ed conjured a tasty oyster po-boy for partner and an amazing smoky jambalaya for me. I might make something I call jambalaya at home, but this was sublime.
The oysters were so fresh! Chilled and had perfect flavor! The bartender was really cool and laid back but friendly and approachable as well. Besides taking care of a full bar he had time to take pics of some customers, ourselves included. The whole place was beautifully decorated and I can't wait to go back!
