He was very professional about it stating that the service was not up to his standards.Beyond the timing issues, the staff was prompt and professional. “Had an evening food tasting here - there were several courses of delicious food provided with the experience. We added on the apple cider vinegar drink, which was the right choice to warm us up for the winter food tasting.Although I had noted with my booking that I'm gluten-free, they brought me a few courses with gluten. I had to keep checking and waiting for a revised course to be provided when the mistake was made. If you have a food sensitivity/allergy, keep this in mind and make sure you check with each serving/meal.If you do a group booking, make sure to let them know you want separate servings as they were bringing us one plate for each course for our group, until we asked them to bring us separate ones. Considering the food tasting is an expensive experience and they charge per person, this was the first time I was brought a single plate/serving for a group booking.”

All of their beers are delicious and they have a really great selection. You know those places that all their IPA’s taste the same? This is NOT Culmination. On top of that there owner is super friendly. Always down to talk beer and give you tasters. They have ample indoor space and patio space available. With the addition of FOMO chicken, now they have great food. Don’t sleep on Culmination Brewing, GO NOW.”

“I mean wow, so good. So incredibly good! I didn't realize that Plumb is the kitchen located inside of the bar (Deadshot). It was my first time experiencing something like this (maybe I need to get out more) and it was incredible. The food is made to order so patience is key but luckily theres an amazing bar with handcrafted cocktails to enjoy while you wait. We arrived right at 4pm on Saturday evening and were promptly greeted and seated. We opted for a seat right at the bar. I ordered a red wine and my husband ordered a Deadshot. Then we placed our food order. We ordered the cesar salad, grilled cabbage, burger and steak frites and everything was so incredibly good. Fresh, decadent, perfectly cooked and ever so tasty. Of the items we tried, the cabbage dish was our favorite. I've never had cabbage with bechamel, apples and hazelnuts. It was simply divine! Highly recommend checking this place out!”

“I was pleasantly surprised when we got there. It had been a while since I had eaten at Denny's, and I had a preconceived notion of what I would experience since this was the same restaurant. I had a semi-bad idea of what I would see, Boy, was I surprised. It was a little bit of a wait when we walked in the door. 3 or 4 small groups ahead of us. But we were seated in under 5 minutes with menus and coffee. The waitress was friendly and VERY upbeat. Food arrived in just the right amount of time, and it was hot!I have to say, I really enjoyed my entire time spent there, AND our dogs got to enjoy a little bit of it also when we got home.Parking: It is a pretty large lot quth lots of parking, a few handicapped spots to choose from, also.”

“We came here accidentally due to Apple Maps telling us it was way closer than it actually was, but what great place. We park and on the way to the door they are pumping the delicious smell of the grill right over you. The staff was polite and funny. Even the music was late nineties alternative which being 43 is perfect! We ordered a single, a double, chili cheese curly fries, deluxe curly fries (cheese, sauce, onions, and bacon), a kids burger, and a chocolate shake. Every item, no, every bite was stellar. My seven year old son said it was the best burger he ever had. 5/5 highly recommend. Honestly couldn’t have been better.”

“First of all, wow! Best poke bowls I’ve ever had. My friend and I came here and ordered the Tomyum Salmon Poke and the Aburi Salmon Don, along with some baked mussels. “They made up for their mistake. Mothers Day breakfast party of only 4, started out great, hostess, waitress were just great. Waitress took our order promptly. All is good so far. After 30 minutes, no food. After 40, no food. Our waitress forgot to put in our order. We continued waiting. 1 hour now, still no food. We asked again about our food to the manager. They kept saying, any minute now like if only a few minutes had gone by. Needless to say, we were very upset. Moms day breakfast ruined!!. Manager was under the impression that we had only been waiting just a few minutes . Miscommunication among staff. Not good. The only reason we stayed was because all other restaurants close by were already packed with people. Our food finally arrived and it was delicious, I wont lie. Excellent food. A few minutes later the chef came out to our table very, extremely apologetic and accepting their mistake on behalf of the restaurant and she made sure to make things right and really took care of us. This shows that this place cares about their reputation, their image, their customer satisfaction. After the whole ordeal, we left satisfied that staff made up for their mistake. We will still return to this restaurant next time we visit Portland. Food is great.”

“We recently came to Portland for my sister's bachelorette. She loves steakhouses and so when I found out that RingSide Steakhouse is the oldest steakhouse in Portland, I knew we had to come here. Online the reservations portal only allows for reservations for party of seven or less. Eight or more, you have to email them. So I did and got my options. When I let them know that I was just interested in dining in the main area they did that for me. They called me the day before our reservation to confirm. When we arrived we were greeted immediately. When we sat down our server was great. He explained the menu and answered all our questions. The majority of our group got the ribeye for two and split them. And the nice part is the restaurant splits and serves it on separate plates. We also ordered a large order of onion rings for the table. We also ordered several sides to share amongst the table. We ordered the cabbage, pole beans, lobster mashed potatoes, and Korean spiced heirloom carrots. I got the crab cakes as my meal. All the food was good. The ribeye comes with one choice of a side. The ribeye was tender and everyone's was cooked just the way they asked. The dessert was delicious. They also sent the crème brûlée free of charge since we were celebrating. The chocolate mousse was so good. The banana ice cream was so good and it worked with the whole dessert. The cheesecake was good too.”

“I live in this area and never really noticed this restaurant from the outside because the exterior is nothing special and the dim lighting inside doesn't give you a hint of the festivities inside. But after reading about it on a website for best Italian restaurants, I went for dinner with a friend. We sat at the counter (and were able to order ala carte, there was no tasting menu only). Overall, the vibe is friendly neighborhood restaurant that's a bit high-end. The dishes are bit pricey (and like some people said already, the portions, especially the antipasti, are on the small end) but the flavors and cooking are really well done. The pasta of course was perfectly fresh (we had the agnolotti) and the pork tomahawk special of the day ($53) was an interesting mix of pork chop and chorizo. Service was super attentive, but like others said, maybe too attentive because they check on you so often that at one point I felt I couldn't really enjoy the meal with all the interruptions. I can see how this is a great place to celebrate a special occasion and the quality is first rate, people just need to be prepared for what it is, which is slightly smaller dishes at premium prices. With an Italian menu, there are several courses (like a primi and secondi) so if you want to do all courses, including desserts, then probably can share. But if you're not planning to do multiple dishes, then the serving size is good for one person.”

The new menu has been crafted in collaboration with iconic, local Executive Chef George Morris, of Bos Taurus and Nomé notoriety, and features creative wine-inspired cuisine with a French bistro flair, and notable Pacific Northwest ingredients. It was delicious, but the braised pork was over seasoned to me, still edible and tasty if you add a bite to the delicious little roasted potatoes.We all shared a side of Yuca fries, and pecan crusted/candied bacon. Both delicious, and the sauce provided for the fries was amazing.The service was also fantastic! Our server was very friendly and attentive.I would reccomend checking this place out. “This is one of the few places that I will absolutely give all five stars. The neighborhood is beautiful, it's run by a husband and wife who are absolutely delightful. All my neighbors love them. I even got a friend who is staunchly religiously against eating pork to try one of their pizzas because he said it smells so good that he could break just this once, lol. He said it was beyond fantastic.I get the spicy Rosso, but I substitute the onions for garlic because I don't like onions on pizza. It's absolutely heavenly! I highly recommend this spot.”

“I had the most extraordinary experience at the Portland airport on Monday night. There were not many things open. I do not usually fly Southwest, so I was not familiar with the concessions in this part of the airport. I thought I might just grab some cheese and then get some kind of healthy bowl somewhere. I stopped at the Tillamook booth and was overwhelmed by the quality of the service. Yes, the food was tasty. The service was exemplary. I would have never purchased my meal here, if it weren’t for the incredible connection, Joseph, the server, made with me. He was warm, knowledgeable, and really enticed me to eat the food here. He seemed to love it, so I believed him. I ate at the little table next to the booth and he checked in on me from time to time and even brought me some green tea later on! This truly was the most remarkable experience I had ever spent at an airport kiosk. I fly every week. Joseph, and the quality he bestowed upon me, is a new benchmark for service at any airport in America. Congratulations Tillamook for hiring such a capable person who not only believes in your product, but believes in serving each customer with dignity and elegance. I couldn’t help but watch how he treated the people after me. All were treated the same. He even helped people after he closed. What a treasure. Thank you, thank you.”

“I am by no means a Vegan. In fact if there is an afterlife I am sure I will have many many furry faces waiting for me for my crimes of rampant meat consumption. So setting that as the starting off point I eat the vegan bowl here like two or three times a week. This girl is an absolute wok goddess. I have no idea how she manages to cook every single piece of vegetables in her stir frys without ever making a single piece go limp. I have a deep and abiding childhood hatred of cauliflower. It is marrow deep to the point of irrational dislike on my end. Yet when that vile weed appears at random in her stir fry I am not only okay with it, but thoroughly enjoy the dish. Even her rice is several steps ahead of the competition. The curried Garbonzo beans are simply perfect. The fresh diced cucumber and carrot makes the perfect crunchy contrast with the amazing rice and curried legumes. The fresh lime juice makes her dishes flirt with sweetness while still being savory. If your tired of the same old boring grease soaked fries and cheese slathered mediocre slabs of low grade meat check out this cart. The flavors are both well seasoned yet not over powering. She has a chefs touch to be sure. Plus my heart I am sure prefers the fare far more than another artery clogging mass of American failure cuisine.”

Ambiance- Departures gives a futuristic feeling of almost being in a spaceship. Very well laid out and unique! Food- the food was great. We had the steak and tuna entrées. Both were very well cooked and had wonderful flavor. Would recommend. The drinks were great as well! I ended up with their style of an old fashion and would get it again! Service- Service was what you would expect from a higher end restaurant. Server had great suggestions and was very attentive. Price- it's what you would expect from a restaurant from this caliber. Bottom line? Date night or special occasion? Just a nice dinner? Would recommend.”

We took the leftovers home and while it was still good after the air fryer, we felt it was better fresh, but that doesn't change how much we loved it at all That scallion pancake had a super freaking thick crispy layer and a super thin chewy layer in the middle, it was perfect The broccoli was literally bursting with garlic flavor The beef stew was so savory and perfect with the rice After we realized that everything was so good, I asked the waitress what her fave dishes are on the menu and she went straight for the beef stew with rice. She also said she loves spicy foods and loves their spicy chicken wings Whoever you are reading this, you will love it here. No doubt about it”

Not hot enough? Request additional sauce. Too hot? Order a soy garlic wing and rub them together. :) Or, cool them down with some of the wasabi mayo. Prices for the boneless are much better than some other places. And, the boneless wings reheat very well in the microwave.”
