“Me and one my besties went today and it was soo good. We had the seafood macaroni and it was loaded with shrimp crawfish etc. the chicken tenders was great as well as the fried shrimp and buttery corn bread.. we initially went for the brunch which we found out it was only on weekends.. which means next time I go out that way it’s a must we go. Staff was awesome as well! I highly recommend.”

The vibe is “aesthetic farmhouse glam meets outlaw.” The food truck is fast, kind, and delicious. I had the seltzer flight and it took me from classy Golden Girls to Naive college frosh, Blue Margarita to Green Apple.

“The Dinner Detective was an absolute blast! The show was really fun from start to finish, and the actors did an amazing job keeping everyone entertained and guessing the whole time. The interactive part made it even better, you never knew who was part of the cast and who was just playing along.

On top of that, the food was genuinely really good, which was a nice surprise for a dinner show. Great atmosphere, great performances, and a really memorable night. Definitely recommend!”

“1. Food seemed fresh and tasty. Portions were more than adequate without. They were plated neatly. Temperature was just right. Spices were what is expected. Typical lunch entrees $18 to $20.
2. Servers were polite and friendly. Just the right amount of attention.
3. Atmosphere was great. Lighting was dark enough not to feel clinical, but bright enough to see the depth of your food's colors. Floors and table were clean. Furniture in good condition. The Thursday lunch crowd was a good mix, some families, some hourly worker, and some white collars. It was nearly empty at 11:15, but slowly filled up, no one waiting. Server did not attempt to rush us out after finishing our meal as we continued work discussions for an additional hour.

Overall, good experience and I'd recommend trying it. Traditional dining experience at fast casual prices.”

“I love this bar, lots of Whiskey/Bourbon options. Small town bar feel in the city, bartenders are fun and friendly. Pool tournaments on Tuesdays, 3 free pool everyday but Tuesdays. Live music every Friday night, DJ on Saturday nights, Karoke Thursdays and Sundays with KJ Erin. Cheapest drinks in town, happy hour 4-7pm”

“This location is a coin flip when it comes to quality for my wife and I. Sometimes service is amazing. Sometimes it’s a crew of unenthused staff. We have had good luck sitting at the bar, though. Asked for my Democrat taco to be well done, which the back of the house ignored. One of the easiest flaws to fix, however, is that they can install a WiFi for customers to use. The reception in Stonehill is horrible and even worse indoors. Sometimes I’d like to send a text or check something out on my phone while I eat. Seems extremely simple to fix. Since I’m in a good mood after a visit I will recommend.”

Had a slight problem with an order I had picked up the previous night and it was never the employees fault. Kat was understanding and open to compromise. I sure hope the managers recognize the value in her while they aren't present/available. Could not recommend this place enough purely based off of my experience.”

It's hard to find tripas these days, so when I found out they had them, I just had to! Bonus points for making them crispy with no problem at all.. my daughter got their birria tacos and said they were delicious.. my bf opted for a breakfast taco and their chicken flautas, which were fresh, crunchy, and delicious as well..

My only negative feedback was them not having taco plates.. I had to order rice and beans separately, which were just ok... needed a lil more flavor IMO..

Overall, it was a good visit.. I will come back for their crispy tripas when weather is better since seating is only outside..”

They had my big order ready right on time (I called a few hours early to order), helped me carry it out, labeled all the bags, and sent plenty of red and green salsa (very important!). “My family has been going to Baris since it opened in 1997 when we lived in Pflugerville. My youngest son turned 21 and requested Baris for his birthday last night. We haven't been for a few years as we moved about 30 minutes away. It was so much fun visiting an old fave. Food quality is amazing, the menu hasn't changed and we were delighted to see the daughter that was bussing tables as a kid is now running the restaurant. Such a local gem. “The best customer service I've come across. I am profoundly hard of hearing and read lips, so the masks make communication difficult. I write out my order and they gesture or pick up items(zing stuff, plastic utensils) to ask if I'd like them. When the inside was shut down, my husband would call in an order for me to pick up via drive through and I never had an issue. 99% of the time, the dining area is very clean. I always see preppers wearing gloves. Those rolls are plain heavenly too.”

I park, no number on the sign to call or text. I look in the app, and it just says pickup. I run a quick mock order and sure enough, only pickup. So I went in and picked it up, off the shelf and went about my way. But the gripe is obvi the parking spots for mobile orders, for them to bring it out to you, but no such service. I think this is the 3rd time it's been like this for me. Other than that little gripe in a lot of words, food was on point like usual”

Living in Houston now and originally from New York, and while there’s been a couple decent slices I’ve had since moving this had to be the best I’ve had in Texas yet. From the atmosphere of the place, it already felt like a real pizzeria. The fact they sell by the slice, and offer the customary 2 slices and a soda deal. A small seating area for those who just wanna sit and chow and then be on their way. I was satisfied before the pizza even showed up. The crust was nice, thin and crispy. And I enjoyed every bite. Nothing is quite like NYC pizza, but for being so far from home this didn’t feel too far off. Will definitely roll through again next time I’m in town. We had the combo w/ one enchilada, 1 crispy taco, guacamole and queso dip in shell. And had the sweet tea. Everything was so delicious!! Not to spicy or highly seasoned. Just right!! The best authentic Mexican food!! This was my first visit and I was just in town for the day. Glad we stopped by for lunch. I couldn’t even finish my plate. They give you a nice amount of food on your plate.
