Right now my favorites are the fish taco, salmon cevice and paloma. But doraditos, cauliflower nachos, brusselsprouts, habanero enchiladas and avocado salsa are forever my favorites! oh and Churros! & hibiscus tea 🌺Try everything!💖🥰 & Emily is my favorite server (pictured)!”
“I think they are out of business their phones don't work anymore!
Says the wireless customer is not available.
They also removed their phone number from their web page!
It was a great place to eat but I guess its gone now?!”

“We found this place online, so we had no idea what to expect. The service was excellent from all members of the team, and the food was beautiful. We had soft shell crab and the most garlicy garlic shrimp you have ever had. The value for money was brilliant too. The restaurant has only been open about 8 months but based on our experience they can only go from strength to strength. Thank you Cloe and team!”
“Love this place. Couple times a month I make the trek to get my fix of German Dill Pickles and Mustards. Sausages are the best. No more Oscar Mayer for me. Pickled beets, too. Yum Yum.”
“Thanks for making the new beer Mirror's Edge in collaboration with our Burien Run Club (Burien Run Walk). It is really good! You are always friendly and this is just a great place for us to meet on Thursday nights. I can't recommend this establishment enough! shout out to Blake and to the brewer Michael. You are amazing!”

“I'm mad my friend didn't show me this spot earlier!!! For starters, we had the mezze platter. It came with dolmas (so good!! Perfect marriage of rice and spices!), tzatziki (so fresh! The mint...yum!!), baba ganoush (with a smokey hint), hummus (so fresh!!), tabouli (best ive had in a long time! It was not overwhelming with parsley... super enjoyable. So good we got orders to go!), and the piyaz (a chilled white bean salad with ginger root, onion, tomato, EVOO, and garlic...so good we got orders to go!). Entrees we had the mesopotamian lamb and beef (the stew was so comforting..like a hug. The lamb was so tender!), and the lamb chops (love the rosemary and garlic!) For dessert...freshhhhh baklava, freshest ive had. It had just been made. It was so perfect! It's not so heavy compared to the normal baklava with honey that Im used too. Looks like I have a new favorite Mediterranean spot to go to!!! The staff was great. The food was amazing.”

“❤ Love this place, the food is beautiful and fresh and delicious, they are very careful and kind and conscientious about dietary needs, and the atmosphere in this lovely clean restaurant is cool and inviting and comfortable. Great service and staff, thank you for wonderful food and the Thai iced tea was delicious!”
“The cookies here are so good!! The service was very kind and the place was very clean. I love when they had a blueberry pancake with maple topping I miss it so much and hope it comes back, but I loved their fall cookies. The pumpkin maples was very molasses-y and the caramel apple snickerdoodle was SO GOOD it was such an amazing flavor and so chewy!!! The stuffed apple cookie was amazing as well, I can’t wait to come back!!!!
I will say the pricing is a bit confusing, I ordered a half dozen and it said $16 which is a great deal, but there was an extra $4 fee, I can’t remember what for but with tax and tip it ended up being like $23.”

“Delicious, Authentic & Super Clean! Absolutely love Royal Everest Cuisine! The food is 100% authentic Nepalese and Indian — full of flavor, fresh, and served hot. You can tell they really care about hygiene and quality. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Great customer service every time! Highly recommend for anyone craving real, home-style Indian or Nepalese food.”
“Visited after the Sounders game. The place was really busy and packed. We ordered our 4 tacos each, 8 total and waited less than 10mins to get to get our order. That was amazing for such a busy time! The food was delicious and served hot. Awesome stuff, I'll be back”
“So good! We read through lots of reviews. Super mixed, but we have been driving by for a long time and furious. So we went anyway. Casual inside. There was us, a mother and daughter, a family, and a couple groups of guys. Sport screens, music that made me want to dance. Not overly loud, but the waitress was soft spoken. Kind, but soft spoken . The lady with her daughter recommended the jalea. Think Captain's platter, but with a foot long fish, buttery, delicious. Fried stuff on the outside was more fied chicken style than greasy fish and chips. Shrimp, scallops, octopus, mussel, clam, calamari, white corn, sauteed red onions, , tomato, lettuce, yucca fries. Enough food for two. Rich, flavorful. As someone who doesn't like tarter sauce, I used the salso. Oh yes! Great with chips- even better with the fish and seafood. Not your ordinary salsa. Yum! I could not identify the ingredients. Tomato? Bean? Tamarind? Spices unique and tasty. 21 for so much seafood My husband got the pan huelo? Think soup with a whole crab leg, octopus, scallops, shrimp, squid mussel, clam, fish, calamari. All in an orange sauce reminiscent of pumpkin and white sauce with tasty spices. Add the onion, cilantro, and lime. We didn't add the rice, Tasty rice, e licioys soup, though rich, so my husband at only 1/2 to 3/4, then "helped" me horchatta- less sweet than most. Yay! Flan we have not tried yet because we are still full. Lots of leftovers. Looking forward to eating them. Nice people. We will be back!”
“One of the best places in Burien. Food drinks and service. 10 of 10 .”
“We absolutely love this place! An unassuming entrance, advertising and room. And then you get the sushi…it’s amazing! We’ve had excellent service and creative and delicious rolls (we love the Norwegian roll!). This is our local sushi spot!”
“The people here are so kind and the food is reasonably priced and very good. It was at my table quite quickly.
I recently moved to this area and have just begun my search for Ethiopian food here. My all-time favorite in Colorado (Ras Kassa’s) set a very high bar…
Dukem IS good, just a bit small & stuffy & meat-centric.
Vegetarian options: My veggie food (menu item #11) was fine, tho I did think it had some meaty taste to it, from the pans perhaps?”

“I really like the pizza here. The crust is not too thick or to thin and the toppings are good.
Reminds me of a hometown pizza place called Campanas over on the Peninsula my folks used to take us too as kids. Toppings were just enough of everything and good flavor. The house red wine is really smooth, restaurant itself is a old Burien school Italian vibe. I will be getting pizza from here again. One of of my top 3. Prices are pretty decent as well.”
Takeout Restaurants
“I used to work here. I was fired over diagnosed mental health issues. I've been beat unconscious many times I have memory problems as a result. I forgot to set the timer and burned a tray of pies. The owner has a huge temper. There were times he refused to come out of the office and talk to customers Last I knew it's illegal to fire some one for diagnosed mental health issues. Please take your business elsewhere. Thank you.”

“Just tried the breakfast restaurant. Same location. Highly recommend! The chilaquiles is delicious. The salsa verde is perfectly seasoned and coffee is hot and tasty. You also get a complementary basket of cinnamon sugar chips to dip in honey while you wait for your food. Will definitely go back!”

“Update: new ownership, things have changed.
Old review: Yaaassss...! Everything here. Everything. Not sure what part of Mexico the food hails from, but it is definitely, authentically Mexican. I have sampled fairly extensively from their menu: roasted chicken (yes!), gorditas, sopes, asada fries, burritos. Would highly recommend the guisado del día, which is kind of like whatever saucy meat, almost stew, that they can whip up for the day, but it's difficult to go wrong here. Add on top of that the very efficient service, and you have an easy option for lunch or dinner. A place to go out of your way for. It can be pricey for what one might expect for Mexican cuisine. But, probably no more than some of the American Mexican places that abound, and for much greater value. Yas. Do it.”

“I had a wonderful meal at Pigfish Cafe. I had a Hot Pastrami sandwich which was so so delicious. Ample pastrami with melted provolone and mayo. Also a large helping of fries. Great value, excellent service, very friendly, delicious food. Will definitely be going back.”
“I cannot even begin to explain how excited I was for this meal. I may or may not have had a little wine and a gummy (as one does), so the vibes were already high. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry and the Homemade Hamburger Steak with Gravy, and let me tell you—both were absurdly good. Like, offensively delicious. I usually roll my eyes when people say “amazing” too much, but here? Yeah. Worth it.
Let’s talk katsu. Instead of breast, it’s made with thigh meat—an absolute revelation. Juicy, flavorful, life-changing. I had to sit down (and yes, I was already sitting). But here’s the kicker: the leftovers. I reheated the curry-soaked katsu in the air fryer and it became next-level. The sauce seeps into the breading, then the air fryer brings back the crisp like magic.
And honestly? The real move is to fry it again after the curry hits. Re-fry. Trust me. The sauce-infused breading turns into this glorious crunch-meets-savoriness situation that’s borderline unfair. I would order this dish again just for the leftovers. Delicious the first time around, but the remix? Absolute perfection. 10/10, would air fry again.”
“Visited on a Sunday afternoon after a friend recommended this local spot in Burien.
We tried the bacon sandwich, $13 from the breakfast menu, and the Cuban melt $15 from the lunch menu.
While the café itself has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations. The bacon sandwich felt a bit too small for the price, and the Cuban melt could have been much better if they had added some Dijon mustard to balance the richness of the mayo—it would have brought out the true flavor of a Cuban sandwich.
Staff were kind, and the space has a neighborhood charm, so I’d be open to coming back to try their pastries or coffee.”
“I was there for darts, and it was a little awkward until i ordered a drink! The service was great! I think my bartender was ¿Caitlyn¿ I don't know how to spell her name, but her and the tall white dude were very attentive even while they were busy! Dart boards are well taken care of also. Dartlive2, btw.
Parking: Street parking is available, if not directly in front, then a few feet down the street or around the corner. Library parking garage also allows public access.
Kid-friendliness: This establishment is 21+, very good for a drink and dinner with buds.
Wheelchair accessibility: Flat street level with crosswalk signs, no steps, very easily wheelchair accessible.”
Cheap Eats
“This place is a great deal, and is generous with the portions. It's also a really comfortable nice space, but the recipes could use some work.
Highlights:
- Generous portions, great prices.
- Hollandaise sauce on the Benedict was perfect.
- The omelette was great (a little heavy on the jalapeño)
- The booths are comfy, and there are a ton of decorations.
Avoid:
- biscuits and waffles were meh. Very bready, not the right texture
- gravy needs some love
- hash browns tasted like shrimp, so they might be cooking those on the same griddle. Be careful if you have a shellfish allergy 🦐⚠️
We'll definitely be back, and I'll update if it gets better.
Dietary restrictions: Careful if you have a shrimp allergy”
“I have been a huge fan of your all for about 10 years. Recently tried your dinner special and was disappointed. It wasn't made known that I would get 1/2 the normal amount of chicken. I may be ignorant but I figured shrimp tempura meant a sushi roll. Still love you all but damn dude, I was still hungry after this meal”
“The owners are truly kind, grateful people. The food is fresh- I had a Poke bowl with Salmon and avocado, and it was FULL of good flavor. My kids were crazy about the BBQ Chicken- awesome portions and fantastic sweet/smoky flavor! My wife tried the Yakisoba, and loved all the vegetables. Very solid value for the buck- this is a great place to check out. Glad we made the drive from Woodinville!”
“Best pupusas I’ve ever had! Absolutely everything I ordered was delicious and the portions were sizable — enough for two meals. I did takeout and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I hadn’t called ahead but they were still able to have my order out to me in less than 15 minutes. Pleasant space to wait in — will definitely be back to dine in.”
“This isn’t a coffee shack, it’s a community. The coffee is great, the snacks are standard and yummy. But it’s the people that make this place special. The staff is - every one of them - wonderful people who are pleasant and engaging, and the locals that hang out here with their friends and dogs are kind and cool.
Today I had a lovely long conversation with Kaitlyn during a lull in customers. We chatted about community and service, and how important those ideas are to us. It’s not everyday I get to have a deep and meaningful conversation with someone two generations behind me, but that’s the kind of environment The Bean creates. Spend your money here, but also spend some time. This is a special place in our community.”
“The FAMOUS banana gorilla.....jimmy makes a mean one!!!.best ever.awesome in summer cuz they have an unclosed outside garden with mister hoses on when hot ....it's great!
Been going here for yrs ....”
“Great food and fast service! The waitress was wonderful! I had the grilled salmon. it was amazing!”
“My friend celebrated her birthday and it wants the best birthday ever!”
“Had Demolition and Elliot Bay that was good, french fries was alright. We visited this brewery a few times....one of the bartender was always unhappy. The last time we were there, they already were pushing us to leave 20 mins before the bar was closed”

“Ordering food from this McDs is like gambling, its completely random what you'll get: 1/3 the time they get your order right. 1/3 the time they get your order slightly wrong. 1/3 the time they give you something completely different. Examples: I ordered a 2 cheeseburger meal, and instead cheeseburgers, I got 2 hamburgers, and on them was a print-out-sicker that said "xtra salt, xtra pickles". One time they gave me FOUR large Hawaiian punches with my big mac meal for some reason (I just wanted a coke). Another time, I ordered spicy mcnuggets, and got a fish-o-fillet meal. Ordered 2 double cheeseburgers and 2 mcchikens and got: 2 big macs and 2 large fries. WORST: ordered 2 happy meals 2 apple pies. Check them on the way home, NO FRIES & no pies, went back (about 10 cars in line) waited 45min, they asked for receipt, and gave me a little back, I left the window stupidly out of habit, then got home NO FRIES.”
