“Ummm… Yum!! Who doesn't love seafood!? Well, I actually know a lot of people who don't like seafood, but I encourage those to try ConiSeafood because it has so much flavor that it doesn't taste or seem like you're eating seafood.
ConiSeafood is serving up Acaponeta, Nayarit-style seafood. Located in a small building in Inglewood, there offing a big menu full of goodness. From ceviche, fish dishes, shrimp dishes, soups and a few extras, you'll find something for your taste buds.
They offer indoor seating and outdoor seating. The space is very cozy. It was busy when we arrived, and had to wait just 10mins. The hostess greeted us when we walked in and once seated, our waiter was very attentive.
We got aguachiles and a shrimp plate. The aguachiles was good, but spicy. Just to warn you! The shrimp plate was delicious!”
“We had the BEST experience at Sunday Gravy. We were in LA waiting on a flight back to Oklahoma, ventured out, and luckily, stumbled upon this restaurant. The staff is AMAZING! The food was the icing on the cake. Thanks again for great food and great service!”
“We stopped here between Universal Studios & LAX after finding them via a Google restaurant search. The food was delicious. Large portions & big mugs of cold beer to tame the spices. We loved the friendly & casual vibe. My silly kid enjoyed being creative with the injera bread & what kid doesn't love the opportunity to eat with their hands... on purpose!”
“This spot is hands down 5 stars! From the moment I walked in, the hospitality was warm and genuine, and the food was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere felt so authentic—everything from the accents, to the sayings on the walls, to the bold flavors of the dishes made it feel like a little piece of Jamaica right here in Cali.
If you’re looking for not just great food but also a cultural experience, this is the place. I love how they stay true to the culture—it’s vibrant, welcoming, and unforgettable. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Great local brewery that really focuses on the beer. So much better since they expanded the outside seating. Great food trucks/stands that come in, friendly staff. A bit “hop” heavy selection if that’s your brew, would like to see more lagers, ales etc but doesn’t take away from a 5 star review”

“The ambiance was intimate but lively. Great music playing in the background.
The service was great- Nina was so kind and offered great suggestions.
The food was robust with flavor and a generous portion.
The chicken bites were crispy, a little sweet and tangy.
The Jollof rice with crispy catfish was cooked to perfection. It came with black beans (delicious!) and sweet plantains.
The burger was good but definitely worth skipping and trying other menu items.
The house lemonade was so refreshing and not too sweet.
Overall wonderful experience. Will be back!”

“This was our first time in Los Angeles from Canada. My husband is Jamaican and is always looking for Jamaican food. We stopped by this restaurant. I had the curry goat, my son had the oxtail and my husband had the curry chicken. We were so impressed with the taste of all our meals. The food was seasoned so well that we thought we were in Jamaica. The owner made us feel like we were visiting a friend. I highly suggest visiting this restaurant.”
“BBQ Tofu, Lunch Burrito, Mac n Cheese and oatmeal cookies. I ordered from Uber eats and the food was delicious. I normally get the taco's when I pick the food up my self, but since I was having a delivery, the burrito was the other option and it was so good. Additionally, the BBQ Tofu and Mac n Cheese tasted great! (eyes bigger than my stomach). I have left overs for tomorrow.”

“The location of the restaurant is smack center of downtown GSU, a young and vibrant, busy little area reminiscent of a ‘baby Manhattan’ but with nicer people and eco-friendly eateries. The interior is aesthetically pleasing with a black and yellow color scheme throughout the establishment, coordinated seating areas for dining in, and simple yet impactful decor with the background story of Mr. Fries Man framed along the walls. The atmosphere was welcoming and extremely professional and the fries themselves were everything! I had the shrimp and steak fries and they were fresh and hot, the steak cut into perfect bite size bits, the shrimp cooked perfectly, and the sauce a delicate balance between sweet and savory to tie it altogether *chefs kiss*. Overall perfect restaurant choice for anyone but especially college students and young professionals who want a satisfyingly delicious, quality meal without breaking the bank.”
“The food, drinks, and service have all been very good. My wife and I have been here a couple of times to pre-game before events at SoFi or Intuit. It is walking distance to both.”
“The flavoring were superb. The customer service was above average. Great location. I will definitely recommend and return.”
Outdoor Dining
“Awakening is an unexpectedly delightful coffee shop. Terrific coffee drinks ordered from a deceptively sparse lobby, but beyond the barista’s area is a lush, chill sitting area, filled with sofas and soft chairs, and lots of tables to work at. Rentable work room also available. Dog water and snack station. You could chill here for hours.”
“We stopped for dinner and glad we did. The service was great only had a couple people at tables. We ordered massamun curry, yellow curry, green curry, pad see-ew, spring rolls, fried wontons, and tom-kha. It was all wonderful and seasoned perfectly. Would definitely come back again. When you spend $100 or more you get a free item (shirt, fanny pack, wallet).”

“Had vegetarian platter it was excellent! Each item delicately spiced and delicious.
Vegetarian options: On vegetarian platter there are different selections.”
“Absolutely the finest Soul Food. You don't want to skip this place. I had the lunch portion of the Oxtail and chose the Candied Yams and Mac and Cheese as sides. It came with 2 Cornbread Muffins. It was all delicious and filling. I ordered the Coconut Pineapple Cake for Dessert. It filled the container. See the picture. Totally Recommend this place.”

“Tasty homemade style Mexican food with great service. Had a carne deshebrada sope and a carne asada plate. The sope was easy to bite into and just the right texture. Both were good and did not feel too heavy. They also have jugos naturales (natural fruit juice) and agua frescas! Small parking lot.”
“If you like quality Chinese cuisine, go to Little Asia ASAP! My party of three loved the food! We had egg rolls, sesame chicken, lemon chicken, and string beans with beef. We shared those dishes and had to force ourselves to stop eating once we were full! I highly recommend this great restaurant!”
“Authentic, delicious option for Jamaican food! Tender curry goat, spicy jerk chicken! My friend and I were on our way to the Beyoncé concert at SoFi and stopped here for lunch. Perfect meal that kept us satiated throughout the performance! Would eat here again for sure.”
“First time eating from this place. Did take out. Everything we order was delicious. We got 7 different items from the menu. All of them were good. Expect to wait if you want quality and fresh seafood. We drove to near by store to kill some time. They texted us when our order was ready. They did tell us it would take around 40 minutes and we were okay with that. Don't know the owners but very happy for them that they finally have a restaurant location. With time they will learn to manage and get the hang of the traffic a restaurant requires.
Parking: There is free parking available.”
“Great atmosphere !!! The tacos are amazing the Dj is the bomb . I will definitely go back again”

“Hi this Elijah John Melo burger was very good. Their food is very good and very delicious. I recommend everyone they live in Los Angeles California to go eat there. They have the best pastrami sandwiches and they have the best food there including the french fries and drinks. I recommend everyone to go eat at melo burger sincerely Mr. John”
“The vist to this location was one of the most dynamic customer experiences I've recieved from any fast-food chain domestic or international. The manager Karen provided us with 1st rate, outstanding, red carpet, white glove, blue ribbon service. I would love to see her in a top management position or better yet, her own franchise! All the Best to you Karen on your upward career journey!”
“This is the best Jack in the Box I have ever visited. I go to many Jack-in-the-Box locations, but this one stands out as the best in terms of appearance, cleanliness, management, service, food, and prices.
What impressed me the most was when I requested a custom sandwich, as I often do. They made it perfectly, just as I would have if I had the time.
When nature called, I appreciated the buzzer for the restroom door, which usually irritates me. However, this restroom was so clean that I was grateful for the system. The owner and management of this store deserve to be commended.”
“The chicken hard shell tacos with the rice and beans was awesome. Everything was so fresh. And my cocktail was 🔥🔥🔥”
“Delicioso los mejores mariscos de inglewood y de todo LA....!!! Recomendable ...!!! :-) :-*”

“I never write reviews but literally set my slice of cake down (really hard to do) because I had to run and write a review. Hands down the best chocolate cake I have ever had in my life! Please support our awesome local businesses! Great customer service and vibe inside! Will be back more than I should because it is THAT good!!”
“Well, first of all, thank God for life and health and for the first part of the country from here in Los Angeles, California, they treated me very well, kindly and with respect, and I hope to God that they continue like this, with kindness and polite staff, thank you”
“I ordered Bionicos and a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake. My daughter loved the milkshake and still keeps talking about how good it was.
My bionics was great! I was able to eliminate the fruits I did not want (any melon), and the cream was good. The portion size was great and I could not stop eating it. Me and family look forward to eating there again.”
“Looked up a local panaderia while visiting LA and found this place. Upon arriving at 6:30 pm on a Wednesday evening and seeing a line out the door I wondered what was going on! It is a small panaderia but the Mexican sweet bread was fantastic! The conchas were just coming out of the oven so I grabbed one and a crème filled empanada. Both were delicious! Will return on my next trip to LA!”
“Los mejores mariscos que e probado en el sur de California una ambiente muy agradable y la comida lo mejor”

“I had a chance to try this place during one of my work trips to LA. Tried the Masak Merah with chicken and beef rendang, and spring rolls. The masak was delicious .. sweet and spicy. The rendang was in curry and while it tasted okay didn’t taste like other rendangs I’ve had.”
“I work for Crystal Stairs Inc. and was looking for a local cupcake maker in the area. Cakes and Curls has made my experience for finding a baker that makes mass production for are huge end of the year event very affordable and accommodating! The communication was fast and effective. I recommend Cakes and Curls to everyone in the Los Angeles area to check out..”
“Amazing, super friendly service and fantastic burritos. We went in for breakfast burritos and they were open to turning anything into a burrito. They had tons of options available and as a result, I also got the world's largest burrito. I did chicken fajitas x eggs in mine and it was great.”
“Everything about here is outstanding. Right when you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff. Everything that my group tried was absolutely amazing. We got açaí bowls, protein smoothies, the breakfast sandwich, and the avocado toast. My favorite, by far, is the breakfast sandwich. Definitely recommend”
“Enjoyed Friday night 9/16 live music, food, drinks & great service. 2 wks later we reserved the VIP rm for a memorial and repast service for 25 guests. Marsha delivered everything we asked for and it was wonderful. It was a bittersweet day because our 32nd anniversary was 9/29th. But the love shown for our sisters life was priceless.”
“EDIT: MUCH BETTER! So much better! The drastic improvements to the service coupled with the delicious food made me change my review from 1-star to 5. My husband is obsessed and he’s not even nigerian ?.
Mama Veronica, you have done well.
*original review below from 2 years ago*
Worst service in the history of worst services. I placed an order 2HOURS in advance, drove all the way from Orange County to pick it up in Inglewood (if you from LA you know how bad that drive can be) only to be told one of my main orders isn’t available and I would have to wait ANOTHER 40mins for the rest.
Lady, hire more cooks, prep beforehand or something because this is ridiculous. I wouldn’t mind waiting usually because the food is good but wait AND be expensive? Not coming back here again. Food is good but the hassle is not worth it. At all.”
“Never left a review before but this place deserves 5 stars all across the board !! Bless is a man of the people and his food touched my soul!’ The oxtail is absolutely amazing best you will ever have !! Fried chicken is absolutely incredible everything on the menu is truly delicious!! Ty Bless for cooking with passion & letting us enjoy !!!”

“excellent excellent excellent. peach cobbler was so good. at first i thought the mini at around $10 was a bit expensive but its shareable so at $5 person, its very worth it. add the ice cream because why not. the ice cream was good vanilla flavor too. we took advantage of the “day old” cookies that were 2 for $3 definitely worth it.”
“One of the BEST Mexican food spots around here. Very affordable food; 2 burrito combos, a torta, and the taco combo and they all come with chips and a salsa cost $32. You can’t beat that price. Food is honestly really really good and great portions too! This is our go to spot, and of course they’re always friendly too so that’s a plus! 🙂↔️🙂↔️”
“I have not been here since the 90s, ordered the Wonton Soup-Small, and it was very good. Wontons were yummy and the pieces of Chicken and Shrimp all tasted fresh. Soup was pretty hot, took about 5 mins to cool down my soup. Sadly, no more donuts. Wish owners would make the place look nice because yes it looks
very rundown but food was good. Additional seating would be helpful. I dont remember the cost but for small soup was like $5 to $7 dollars. Glad this place is still here, memories from childhood.”
“Just good old-fashioned American food. We just got back in the country from an overseas vacation and wanted the taste of home. I was a little concerned when I first walked in because it seemed new and shiny but we were greeted immediately and had super service. And the food was exactly what we were looking for. My wife had the chicken fried steak breakfast and I had a patty melt. They have remodeled and updated but have not lost the personality that Norm's is known for. Do it.”
““A true hidden gem!”
As a local, I can confidently say this place is one of those hole-in-the-wall spots you have to try if you’re in the area. The service is always quick and genuinely friendly — they make you feel like family the second you walk in. The food? Absolutely delicious. They serve one of the best chilaquiles I’ve had anywhere, hands down. Every dish is packed with flavor, and the menu features authentic Oaxacan food that’s hard to find done right. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and everything tastes homemade. It’s the kind of spot you end up coming back to again and again. Don’t miss it!”
“This place has become an every weekend breakfast spot for us. I usually order 10 minutes before food pick up. We get the French toast or chilaquiles. We have tried the Cheeseburger with fries and the club sandwich. Very good food. The service is very friendly and professional. Thank you Milagro Cafe!”
“My quick, quick, quick LOCATION right here close by me! Those PRICES are well WORTH ittt!!! An 🤗 Oh yessss, that DIRTY RICE is the BOMB!!!!”
“So I went to Sizzler. The waiting was a bit long, but they've offered me a free salad, which was very nice.
I had a New York strip (or what is it called) and it was a big piece of meat, more medium then medium-rare I have ordered. The thing is, that I would anticipate it to be more spiced. Like some rub or something.
The meat was good but I expect the taste, otherwise cooking a steak is quite easy.
If you want solid piece of meat and not looking for well seasoned, then it's great price / value.”

“I have been wanting to try this place out for quite a while now. I stay downtown Los Angeles, so it’s a bit of a distance to drive. Since the closing of the Vuuka lounge downtown, there isn’t much of a choice when it comes to African cuisine. Yesterday, which was Sunday I finally had a chance to try it while on break at work. I placed my order online and picked it up from the restaurant myself. I ordered the jollof combo plate and peppered goat soup. Both were very delicious and well seasoned. I did not sit and eat inside the restaurant, so I can’t really tell you guys how the atmosphere is but what I can say is that it is definitely a place everyone should try”

I appreciate his patience because it was serval occasion were people just walked up trying to order while I was sitting down ordering. Overall great experience I’ll be back soon!!!”

“It was my first time, and I already can't wait to go back! Love the chicken and, of course, the waffles. Thank you for not serving a tiny ball of butter with the huge waffles ( why do restaurants do that )? The greens were my favorite part of breakfast! Yes, greens for breakfast!”
