Stopped here before flying out for dinner and the food was amazing. We got the beef stew with black lime and a chicken shawarma dish. Both so flavorful and generous portions! Their rice is amazing!! We also got their house drinks, the mint cooler and orange blossom sekanjebin. Very aromatic and refreshing. It was nice to have a good meal on the flight for a snack. Very cute and homey ambiance and cute branding. They have cool totes I dunno if they sell them but the stickers they have on the cups would be great merch!!

I grew up eating tea leaf salad and many of these dishes, so I’ve tried quite a few versions over the years, and this is easily my favorite in LA. The tea leaf salad was incredible, and everything we ordered was full of flavor and tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

I’m so happy we found this place and can’t wait to come back and try even more of the menu. If you’re familiar with Burmese food or trying it for the first time, I highly recommend Mutiara Food & Market. This is a special place and absolutely worth a visit!”

“The location of the restaurant is smack center of downtown GSU, a young and vibrant, busy little area reminiscent of a ‘baby Manhattan’ but with nicer people and eco-friendly eateries. The interior is aesthetically pleasing with a black and yellow color scheme throughout the establishment, coordinated seating areas for dining in, and simple yet impactful decor with the background story of Mr. Fries Man framed along the walls. The atmosphere was welcoming and extremely professional and the fries themselves were everything! I had the shrimp and steak fries and they were fresh and hot, the steak cut into perfect bite size bits, the shrimp cooked perfectly, and the sauce a delicate balance between sweet and savory to tie it altogether *chefs kiss*. Overall perfect restaurant choice for anyone but especially college students and young professionals who want a satisfyingly delicious, quality meal without breaking the bank.”

“i love this place so much! the food is phenomenal and delicious beyond compare but what i do not appreciate of this place is the front register service. you'd expect the service to be positive, welcoming, comforting and for the front register to be kind and considerate but when you're not even welcomed in with a smile AT LEAST, have an airpod in your ear, spoken to rudely and given old food.. it makes you not feel welcomed or want to ask questions or come anymore..

this is not the first time I've come across this behavior but it's definitely from the same person working the front register, everytime.. i would kindly wish the owner to reevaluate their employees on their staff members behavior at such a fine establishment.

It is Tuesday September 8th, the restaurant had just opened (around 11a-12p) we come from way too far just to be treated rudely from someone who hasn't even begun hours into their shift..

The table got agua Fresca pina, horchata, molcajete, 2 lengua tacos and chicken enchilada (verde) plate. The tortillas were perfectly handmade. I’m still contemplating if this is the best Mexican food spot I’ve been to 🤔. It’s definitely worth a try.”

Tottinos Pizza has been our family’s go-to for years and they just never miss. It’s one of those rare long-time family-owned spots that still feels exactly like it did when we first started going. Amazing food, genuinely friendly people, and prices that don’t make you wince.
We always start with the fresh garlic bread. Hot, buttery, loaded with real garlic… it’s basically mandatory at this point. Our classic favorite is the sausage and pepperoni. Crispy crust, generous toppings, every single slice hits. But the white pizza? That’s the one that keeps us coming back. Rich cheeses, garlic, that perfect crisp crust. Honestly one of the best we’ve ever had.
Even though it’s takeout only, the whole experience feels special. The staff is always so nice, the food comes out fast, and everything is fresh and ready right when they say. You can tell they actually care about every order that goes out.
What we love most is how consistent they are. Family dinner, birthday, random busy weeknight, it doesn’t matter. We always know we’re getting great food, quick service, and solid value. Supporting a local family business like this just makes it even better.
If you’re looking for really good pizza that won’t break the bank, Tottinos is an easy five stars. Get the garlic bread, try the sausage and pepperoni, and please don’t leave without ordering the white pizza. We recommend them to everyone and we’ll be customers for a long time.”

I was impressed on all levels. The only thing I’d say is that when the live band is playing it is loud so you can’t converse while they are playing but that it to be expected. Everything was 10/10!!”

The naturally gluten-free spongy injera bread (made with fermented teff flour) was delicious and made in the traditional way. Betty also made special ful without garlic and onion for me because of dietary restrictions. Many people came into the shop to get drinks, takeaway, or marketplace goods like speciality teff pasta and spices. Highly recommend this local Inglewood eatery.”

“The day before the BTS concert for Day 1, I came with my dad to this small restaurant in the morning when it just opened. The ladies were very welcoming and the place was very clean. I wasn't that hungry because we had a long drive, had barely woken up, and was car sick, but ended up ordering some chilaquiles and horchata. And let me tell you, the food was hella bomb with a great quantity. My dad liked his food as well. I was just sad I couldn't finish all of mine 😅. But would totally recommend to dine here. Will probably come by again if I ever go to another concert that is held in the same stadium BTS had theirs. Hopefully will come with a bigger appetite.”

“El Rinconcito Monarcas is a great place to stop and enjoy some delicious Mexican food anytime. The food is freshly prepared and the staff is amazing. Lovely Maria even came out from the kitchen to present us with some special service. The dining area is cute, nicely decorated, clean, has bar top seating as well as tables, umbrellas and a flat screen TV for sports fans. Definitely stop by on taco Tuesday or any day for that matter. The bread is properly made — real crust, open crumb, still good the next day, which sounds basic and almost nowhere manages it. The second one had a lemon filling my sister still brings up. Staff are friendly without being performative about it, and by now they start pulling my usual before I've finished saying it. “Probably one of the best charbroiled burgers around Inglewood. Their grilled chicken burger is pretty hefty, I recommend it if you're looking for a chicken burger. It's filling. I also like their chili cheese burger combo. I think it's a great deal. Fries come with chili cheese and the burger comes with chili too but no cheese. You can also not get chili if you don't like it on your burger. They take phone orders and the service is quick. 🍔👍🏻”

“A very good smash burger spot to eat at! I got the double classic burger. It had two smashed patties along with fresh crunchy vegetables, cheese that melted and oozed from the burger and a nice stormburger sauce. The burger can be a a bit messy but it's very delicious. The fries were Cajun style and had a nice spice kick to it and fried very well!

There is only standing seating to eat and it gets real busy during lunchtimes with long drive thru lines and lines for window orders. The staff was very nice and friendly, service can be a tad bit slow but the burger joint feels like your old school hamburger joint from your neighborhood.

They had a collab with Tev's kitchen so I wish I had another stomach to try their Jamaican jerk patties.”

Since the closing of the Vuuka lounge downtown, there isn’t much of a choice when it comes to African cuisine. Yesterday, which was Sunday I finally had a chance to try it while on break at work. I placed my order online and picked it up from the restaurant myself. I ordered the jollof combo plate and peppered goat soup. Both were very delicious and well seasoned. “The location of the restaurant is smack center of downtown GSU, a young and vibrant, busy little area reminiscent of a ‘baby Manhattan’ but with nicer people and eco-friendly eateries. The interior is aesthetically pleasing with a black and yellow color scheme throughout the establishment, coordinated seating areas for dining in, and simple yet impactful decor with the background story of Mr. Fries Man framed along the walls. The atmosphere was welcoming and extremely professional and the fries themselves were everything! I had the shrimp and steak fries and they were fresh and hot, the steak cut into perfect bite size bits, the shrimp cooked perfectly, and the sauce a delicate balance between sweet and savory to tie it altogether *chefs kiss*. Overall perfect restaurant choice for anyone but especially college students and young professionals who want a satisfyingly delicious, quality meal without breaking the bank.”

“A very good smash burger spot to eat at! I got the double classic burger. It had two smashed patties along with fresh crunchy vegetables, cheese that melted and oozed from the burger and a nice stormburger sauce. The burger can be a a bit messy but it's very delicious. The fries were Cajun style and had a nice spice kick to it and fried very well!

There is only standing seating to eat and it gets real busy during lunchtimes with long drive thru lines and lines for window orders. The staff was very nice and friendly, service can be a tad bit slow but the burger joint feels like your old school hamburger joint from your neighborhood.

They had a collab with Tev's kitchen so I wish I had another stomach to try their Jamaican jerk patties.”

“If you are in LA, you need to come by here and get this barbecue. They authentically smoke although their needs like you can actually see them go out and get the wood chips to put in the smoker. I always get the red tips and the chicken it is smoked to perfection. The potato salad and the barbecue baked beans are in as well.”

I ordered the Keto Taco and the picture DOES NOT do it Justice. This taco was so large and full of delicious meat, beans, guacamole and the tortilla was fried with cheese it was more than lunch, I'm full and not even thinking about dinner.

“Despite it being by LAX on Hawthorne Blvd, the location was outdoor and easy to get served at. Lots of cars and commotion but the food is worth it, if your planning on eating there. Otherwise best pizzas in the area.”

“Cute little cafe! Very easy in and out, has small adjacent parking. Was very busy, but staff were all very attentive. The coffee was great! The horchatta latte was fantastic as was the brown sugar latte. Neither was too sweet. The cinnamon swirl and fruit tart were also quite good, both tasted very fresh! To finish off, the breakfast burrito was delicious and also very fresh! Highly recommend this place!”

“I was greeted as soon as I entered the door by the owner, Brandon. He recommended I try the chicken strip and catfish combo. Boy oh boy was it good. Food came out fast and it was fresh. There are a lot of dipping sauces choose from. I selected BBQ, Nashville Hot, and Sweet Chili. They were all good. This place has a friendly staff and great food. I will definitely be back.”

“I’ve been coming to this Starbucks since the day it opened, and I can honestly say the service has been exceptional every single time. I have a Starbucks with a drive-thru that would be much easier for me to use, but I choose to get out of my car and come here because the experience is worth it.

The store is always clean, welcoming, and has such a friendly atmosphere. The employees acknowledge you right away when you walk in and genuinely make you feel welcomed.And they always make my drink perfect.That kind of customer service really makes a difference!

I also want to give a special shoutout to the store manager, Justin, who truly goes above and beyond for his customers. One time, he literally walked out of the store to hand me my drink before I even made it inside Starbucks! That level of thoughtfulness and attention to customers is something you don’t see everywhere.

It’s clear that Justin and his team genuinely care about their customers and take pride in creating a great experience. I absolutely love this Starbucks and will continue choosing it over the drive-thru any day!
