“Koobideh meal is delicious just how I cook at home. Tahchin has cardamom in it which I'm not used to, but it is still good. The ghormeh sabzi is good but lacking some lemon flavor for me. Ask for extra Omani lemon/lime to squeeze into the stew. House doogh was very good. Owner Reza is very nice and friendly. Overall a good experience. No restroom on premesis.”

“The location of the restaurant is smack center of downtown GSU, a young and vibrant, busy little area reminiscent of a ‘baby Manhattan’ but with nicer people and eco-friendly eateries. The interior is aesthetically pleasing with a black and yellow color scheme throughout the establishment, coordinated seating areas for dining in, and simple yet impactful decor with the background story of Mr. Fries Man framed along the walls. The atmosphere was welcoming and extremely professional and the fries themselves were everything! I had the shrimp and steak fries and they were fresh and hot, the steak cut into perfect bite size bits, the shrimp cooked perfectly, and the sauce a delicate balance between sweet and savory to tie it altogether *chefs kiss*. Overall perfect restaurant choice for anyone but especially college students and young professionals who want a satisfyingly delicious, quality meal without breaking the bank.”

I'm not from here and was working on the area so to see this is a Issa establishment made me smile and it's a total vibe. The decor and clearly they're playing the Untitled album by Sault right now which sets them apart from most coffee spots. Love it here! Was able to find parking on the side of the building for a quick stop. The girl that took and made my order was also a vibe and I loved that she was honest with me when I asked about the Issa (it's good just pricey). For the cost of one smoothie I was able to get my coffee and pastry. Definitely coming back!”

“Came here kinda randomly and I’m honestly glad I did. The jerk chicken had that perfect smoky spice, tender inside with just the right kick on the outside. The rice and peas were super flavorful and actually tasted like they were cooked with care, not just a side thrown on the plate. Portions were big, so I was full way before I even finished everything. The staff was friendly and had a chill attitude that made the place feel welcoming. Tottinos Pizza has been our family’s go-to for years and they just never miss. It’s one of those rare long-time family-owned spots that still feels exactly like it did when we first started going. Amazing food, genuinely friendly people, and prices that don’t make you wince.
We always start with the fresh garlic bread. Hot, buttery, loaded with real garlic… it’s basically mandatory at this point. Our classic favorite is the sausage and pepperoni. Crispy crust, generous toppings, every single slice hits. But the white pizza? That’s the one that keeps us coming back. Rich cheeses, garlic, that perfect crisp crust. Honestly one of the best we’ve ever had.
Even though it’s takeout only, the whole experience feels special. The staff is always so nice, the food comes out fast, and everything is fresh and ready right when they say. You can tell they actually care about every order that goes out.
What we love most is how consistent they are. Family dinner, birthday, random busy weeknight, it doesn’t matter. We always know we’re getting great food, quick service, and solid value. Supporting a local family business like this just makes it even better.
If you’re looking for really good pizza that won’t break the bank, Tottinos is an easy five stars. Get the garlic bread, try the sausage and pepperoni, and please don’t leave without ordering the white pizza. We recommend them to everyone and we’ll be customers for a long time.”

“This place is amazing. The vibe, the ambiance, the food! The live jazz, the customer service! Love love loveee! I got the Cajun chicken pasta and I had no clue it’d be as good as it was. I was impressed on all levels. The only thing I’d say is that when the live band is playing it is loud so you can’t converse while they are playing but that it to be expected. Everything was 10/10!!”

My sister had a chicken plate which I nibbled on and it was delicious as well. My niece had buffalo wings which were extra meaty and really hot the way we like them. Service is good given the short interaction with an employee verifying the Postmate order. The food is ready quickly and haven't had any discrepancies with orders. This is a newer location, maybe a year or two old. Inside and outside are well-maintained.”

I arrived at exactly 6:50pm, the closing time is 7:00pm. To say that I was disappointed is an understatement. Closing a full 10 minutes prior to the actual closing time stated is not good for business. I ended up grabbing something at El Pollo Loco instead.”

“El Rinconcito Monarcas is a great place to stop and enjoy some delicious Mexican food anytime. The food is freshly prepared and the staff is amazing. Lovely Maria even came out from the kitchen to present us with some special service. The dining area is cute, nicely decorated, clean, has bar top seating as well as tables, umbrellas and a flat screen TV for sports fans. Definitely stop by on taco Tuesday or any day for that matter. “A very good smash burger spot to eat at! I got the double classic burger. It had two smashed patties along with fresh crunchy vegetables, cheese that melted and oozed from the burger and a nice stormburger sauce. The burger can be a a bit messy but it's very delicious. The fries were Cajun style and had a nice spice kick to it and fried very well!

There is only standing seating to eat and it gets real busy during lunchtimes with long drive thru lines and lines for window orders. The staff was very nice and friendly, service can be a tad bit slow but the burger joint feels like your old school hamburger joint from your neighborhood.

They had a collab with Tev's kitchen so I wish I had another stomach to try their Jamaican jerk patties.”

I also like their chili cheese burger combo. I think it's a great deal. Fries come with chili cheese and the burger comes with chili too but no cheese. You can also not get chili if you don't like it on your burger. They take phone orders and the service is quick. 🍔👍🏻”

“This has been my favorite spot since the 80s (i'm 42). I've always loved their little chicken wings and chow mein. Even now as an adult and having lived all over California, I've yet to find a place that compares. This is a must stop for me every time I go visit family and I absolutely crave it when I'm not there.
the appearance is old and half shut down, but the Chinese food counter is still going strong. Big portions, delicious food, and great prices. And as a bonus: they are still selling the Orange Julius that I had when I was little too. I dont know how long they've been in business but since i remember them from when i was little, I can safely say at least 40 years and still Killing it.

Since the closing of the Vuuka lounge downtown, there isn’t much of a choice when it comes to African cuisine. Yesterday, which was Sunday I finally had a chance to try it while on break at work. I placed my order online and picked it up from the restaurant myself. I ordered the jollof combo plate and peppered goat soup. Both were very delicious and well seasoned. My food was great the server suggested I try the j*** salmon with fried rice and cabbage excellent choice. He also mention Patties which I never had before wow they were good. “A very good smash burger spot to eat at! I got the double classic burger. It had two smashed patties along with fresh crunchy vegetables, cheese that melted and oozed from the burger and a nice stormburger sauce. The burger can be a a bit messy but it's very delicious. The fries were Cajun style and had a nice spice kick to it and fried very well!

There is only standing seating to eat and it gets real busy during lunchtimes with long drive thru lines and lines for window orders. The staff was very nice and friendly, service can be a tad bit slow but the burger joint feels like your old school hamburger joint from your neighborhood.

They had a collab with Tev's kitchen so I wish I had another stomach to try their Jamaican jerk patties.”

“The location of the restaurant is smack center of downtown GSU, a young and vibrant, busy little area reminiscent of a ‘baby Manhattan’ but with nicer people and eco-friendly eateries. The interior is aesthetically pleasing with a black and yellow color scheme throughout the establishment, coordinated seating areas for dining in, and simple yet impactful decor with the background story of Mr. Fries Man framed along the walls. The atmosphere was welcoming and extremely professional and the fries themselves were everything! I had the shrimp and steak fries and they were fresh and hot, the steak cut into perfect bite size bits, the shrimp cooked perfectly, and the sauce a delicate balance between sweet and savory to tie it altogether *chefs kiss*. Overall perfect restaurant choice for anyone but especially college students and young professionals who want a satisfyingly delicious, quality meal without breaking the bank.”
