“Koobideh meal is delicious just how I cook at home. Tahchin has cardamom in it which I'm not used to, but it is still good. The ghormeh sabzi is good but lacking some lemon flavor for me. Ask for extra Omani lemon/lime to squeeze into the stew. House doogh was very good. Owner Reza is very nice and friendly. Overall a good experience. No restroom on premesis.”
“Every single thing we ordered was full of popping flavors with savory mouth watering aromas. Normally I'm not a person who eats much, but this visit brought outy fat side ( in a good way ). I ate four whole lobsters in one sitting plus some fish ( definitely order the langostinos-lobster), recommend 10/10”
“I went here for breakfast. The food was nice and hot. I ordered the grits and fish with eggs. One waffle on the side. They did not have pancakes. The server was nice and pleasant.”
“Great local brewery that really focuses on the beer. So much better since they expanded the outside seating. Great food trucks/stands that come in, friendly staff. A bit “hop” heavy selection if that’s your brew, would like to see more lagers, ales etc but doesn’t take away from a 5 star review”
“We stopped here between Universal Studios & LAX after finding them via a Google restaurant search. The food was delicious. Large portions & big mugs of cold beer to tame the spices. We loved the friendly & casual vibe. My silly kid enjoyed being creative with the injera bread & what kid doesn't love the opportunity to eat with their hands... on purpose!”

“Might be the best Lasagna I’ve ever had! Food was amazing and the staff was awesome!! Definitely will be a permanent stop each time I’m in LA.”
“As a woman that has sustained multiple health issues, and I couldn’t eat at many other Jamaican spots. This place I feel great. Great clean Jamaican food. Your stomach will love you ,and you will smile eating this food. And the drinks are great too. An owner who cares about what goes in our bodies. I will continue to come and support.”

“Best juice bar out there. I go out of my way to come to this gym specifically for this juice bar. Amazing supplements, the BEST protein shakes (the terminator is sooo good for bulking, highly recommend the strawberry delight with added l-carnitine for cutting). owner and all the staff are cool as hell. Always get the best pump + post workout finish here. Price is insane in the best way as well. Highly recommend, worth going out of your way for.”
“We loved the food and the atmosphere. It made me smile to hear the cook singing in the kitchen. It made me feel like I was back home in Florida. The was the best Jamaican food I have had in California and I have been to alot over our last 13 years living here.
The staff that took our order was kind, friendly, and very helpful. What an awesome and very clean establishment.
Thanks again.”
“We love this place. Great wings and pizza and nice discounts during happy hour. Huge selection of draft pints. Great place to go before Clippers games or to watch sports and hang out. Service depends on how crowded it is but generally quite good.”

“I found out about Awakening when searching for local cafés months ago before finally stepping in person. I had time to spare before a meetup nearby. Awakening has a lot of tempting choices and customizable options at reasonable prices. The staff were courteous and above and beyond.
One barista showed me a more expansive space to work, relax, or hangout in the back of the storefront. Outdoor seating is also available in front at Awakening, and I'll definitely come back.”
“I accidently place an order ,on line.
But unfortunately I dial the wrong Thai restaurant..I called the place and was attended by the owner . He was very polite and understood my mistake. He went ahead and cancelled my order and refunded any amount charged on my acc. I'm very thankful for that.”
“Went there before the New Edition concert at Kia Forum. The food and drinks were great. Great atmosphere and the bartender was very pleasant.”
“absolutely delicious, love love love the oxtail and chicken in brownstew sauce, and the cabbage and plantain. Admittedly, this is the first time i've had Jamaican food. Decor is utilitarian, but i didn't mind.”

“Lots of novel concepts here with some very good ice cream. We got the jamz, which is basically an ice cream sandwich between two slices of cake instead of cookies. We chose butter pecan and the chocolate cake with some condensed milk. It was nice, but I would such with just enjoying the ice cream.”
“Came here kinda randomly and I’m honestly glad I did. The jerk chicken had that perfect smoky spice, tender inside with just the right kick on the outside. The rice and peas were super flavorful and actually tasted like they were cooked with care, not just a side thrown on the plate. Portions were big, so I was full way before I even finished everything. The staff was friendly and had a chill attitude that made the place feel welcoming. It’s not a fancy spot at all, but the food definitely speaks for itself. I’d 100% come back again.”
“Love this place!
Tottinos Pizza has been our family’s go-to for years and they just never miss. It’s one of those rare long-time family-owned spots that still feels exactly like it did when we first started going. Amazing food, genuinely friendly people, and prices that don’t make you wince.
We always start with the fresh garlic bread. Hot, buttery, loaded with real garlic… it’s basically mandatory at this point. Our classic favorite is the sausage and pepperoni. Crispy crust, generous toppings, every single slice hits. But the white pizza? That’s the one that keeps us coming back. Rich cheeses, garlic, that perfect crisp crust. Honestly one of the best we’ve ever had.
Even though it’s takeout only, the whole experience feels special. The staff is always so nice, the food comes out fast, and everything is fresh and ready right when they say. You can tell they actually care about every order that goes out.
What we love most is how consistent they are. Family dinner, birthday, random busy weeknight, it doesn’t matter. We always know we’re getting great food, quick service, and solid value. Supporting a local family business like this just makes it even better.
If you’re looking for really good pizza that won’t break the bank, Tottinos is an easy five stars. Get the garlic bread, try the sausage and pepperoni, and please don’t leave without ordering the white pizza. We recommend them to everyone and we’ll be customers for a long time.”
“Friendly and attentive hosts! We were there for take out and they had us sit in a booth and asked if we wanted anything while we waited, ie water.
Reasonable priced especially for the portion sizes.
We are from the east coast and this is as authentic as anything in China Town, NYC!”
“Tasty homemade style Mexican food with great service. Had a carne deshebrada sope and a carne asada plate. The sope was easy to bite into and just the right texture. Both were good and did not feel too heavy. They also have jugos naturales (natural fruit juice) and agua frescas! Small parking lot.”
“This place is amazing. The vibe, the ambiance, the food! The live jazz, the customer service! Love love loveee! I got the Cajun chicken pasta and I had no clue it’d be as good as it was. I was impressed on all levels. The only thing I’d say is that when the live band is playing it is loud so you can’t converse while they are playing but that it to be expected. Everything was 10/10!!”
“Went to eat here with my Sister and Niece. I got the 20 dollar Michelada and Ceviche combo. It was delicious and filling. My sister had a chicken plate which I nibbled on and it was delicious as well. My niece had buffalo wings which were extra meaty and really hot the way we like them. Thanks to all who make this spot happen.”
“Me encanto el lugar muy rico todo la pasamos de maravilla. Y fue lindo ver a personas que aprecio y q estimo. Muchas gracias ❤️👍😄”
“My boyfriend and I drove an hour and a half on Sunday just to try Nkwagala Cafe after seeing so many amazing reviews on Instagram, and WOW… it exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we took our first bites, we knew this place was something special.
My boyfriend has been struggling to find vegetarian food that he genuinely enjoys because of his health issues, and this is honestly the first place we’ve found that serves vegetarian dishes packed with so much flavor while still feeling energizing and nourishing.
We ordered the Nigerian Soul Food Plate and absolutely fell in love with all the different flavors. The versatility of the quinoa rice was incredible, and the innovative twist on Jollof Rice was truly out of this world. Every bite tasted intentional and comforting.
We also tried the Egusi Soup, which was completely new to us, and we were so impressed with how well it paired with the quinoa rice. We even dipped our Akara into it and that combination was AMAZING.
Speaking of the Akara… after our first bite, my boyfriend and I literally looked at each other with the unspoken confirmation of, “We have to order more.” HAHA. It was THAT good. We placed another order and happily waited another 30 minutes because it was absolutely worth it. It was amazing how it was made with chickpeas and did not lack any flavor. It almost reminded us of hush puppies but so much more fluffier, flavorful, and HEALTHY!
One dish that really touched my boyfriend personally was the Katobo. The burro had the same consistency as potatoes, a comfort food he used to love but can no longer eat. Being able to experience something that brought back that same comfort and satisfaction meant so much to him. It genuinely brought back his excitement for food again.
I also know that some reviews mention concerns about the location, but people have to understand that they operate mainly as a pickup-only business. All you literally have to do is place your order, let them know you’re there, and they bring the food right outside to you. It’s honestly a very simple process and should absolutely not deter anyone from trying this food because it is 1000% worth it.
Compliments to the Chef because every single dish was made with so much care, creativity, and flavor. We loved our experience so much that we’re already planning to make this a weekly trip so we can stock up and meal prep for the week.
Thank you, Nkwagala Cafe, for creating food that not only tastes incredible but also makes people feel good physically and emotionally. We can’t wait to come back!
P.S. I would have pictures but we were so hungry, we literally ate everything right on the spot!”

“Did a postmate order at this location for pickup. Let's jump right into review.
This Jack in the Box is in Inglewood, City off the Champions! Sitting on Centinela Blvd., one block from La Brea if you heading east and 3 or 4 blocks from La Cienega if you heading west. Pristine directions :)
It's Jack in the Box - fast food at It's finest. My offspring eat here. Their go to's are -
Plain Chicken Sandwich
Plain Hamburger
French Fries
Mini Tacos & Regular Tacos
Jalapeno Poppers
All things teenagers can eat w/o repercussions. The youthful years.
They don't complain about the food and from my observations, they enjoy it because they eat it all.
Service is good given the short interaction with an employee verifying the Postmate order. The food is ready quickly and haven't had any discrepancies with orders. This is a newer location, maybe a year or two old. Inside and outside are well-maintained.”
“Tenía mucho tiempo sin comer chicharrón, frijoles negros, plátano frito, huevos y pupusas en una misma sentada. Disfruté de la comida y del servicio del personalidad. Lo recomiendo.”

“Well, first of all, thank God for life and health and for the first part of the country from here in Los Angeles, California, they treated me very well, kindly and with respect, and I hope to God that they continue like this, with kindness and polite staff, thank you”
“I never write reviews but literally set my slice of cake down (really hard to do) because I had to run and write a review. Hands down the best chocolate cake I have ever had in my life! Please support our awesome local businesses! Great customer service and vibe inside! Will be back more than I should because it is THAT good!!”
“My favorite restaurant! I eat here at least once a month, and it has become a favorite of my entire family. The food is consistently amazing, the service is wonderful, and every visit feels warm and welcoming. This is truly one of those special restaurants where they treat you like family and genuinely make you feel at home every time you walk through the door.
I can’t recommend this place enough. The food, the people, and the overall experience keep us coming back again and again. Please go and try it for yourself, and you’ll understand exactly what I mean!”

“I chose to come here because I saw a review mentioning a family atmosphere and man was that accurate. Carlos who was running the counter made me feel right at home and got me the most amazing 4 carne asada tacos and a custom order of just some eggs. He checked on me and was just so kind. The vibe in there was amazing and the tacos/eggs were aswell. Will be back next time im in LA.”
“Amazing food, excellent service, and kind people. It’s really a nice spot and the fries when they do it right is amazing! Sometimes the fries is a bit bad and not doing justice but always try if you don’t forget to ask for extra crispy fries. On point! Burgers are normal.”
“Absolutely the finest Soul Food. You don't want to skip this place. I had the lunch portion of the Oxtail and chose the Candied Yams and Mac and Cheese as sides. It came with 2 Cornbread Muffins. It was all delicious and filling. I ordered the Coconut Pineapple Cake for Dessert. It filled the container. See the picture. Totally Recommend this place.”
“I absolutely love Everytable! The food is not only delicious, it is also very healthy and I can tell the food is seasoned with herbs, it has a very fresh taste. I would have gave 5 stars, however, 2 weeks ago after leaving the gym, I headed over to get something to eat. When I arrived, they were closed. I arrived at exactly 6:50pm, the closing time is 7:00pm. To say that I was disappointed is an understatement. Closing a full 10 minutes prior to the actual closing time stated is not good for business. I ended up grabbing something at El Pollo Loco instead.”

“Came to this restaurant because I was craving Ghanaian food. It really hit the spot. My Ivorian husband who says that Ghanaians can’t cook actually enjoyed the jollof rice, chicken, plantain and palm wine. He cleared his plate LOL!”

“My sister and I ate here for the first time, and everything was absolutely amazing. I grew up eating tea leaf salad and many of these dishes, so I’ve tried quite a few versions over the years, and this is easily my favorite in LA. The tea leaf salad was incredible, and everything we ordered was full of flavor and tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
I’m so happy we found this place and can’t wait to come back and try even more of the menu. If you’re familiar with Burmese food or trying it for the first time, I highly recommend Mutiara Food & Market. This is a special place and absolutely worth a visit!”
“I work for Crystal Stairs Inc. and was looking for a local cupcake maker in the area. Cakes and Curls has made my experience for finding a baker that makes mass production for are huge end of the year event very affordable and accommodating! The communication was fast and effective. I recommend Cakes and Curls to everyone in the Los Angeles area to check out..”
“Found this place on the way to the airport. Really easy pick up order through the many food delivery apps. Acai bowls hit the spot and generous with the fruit toppings. Chicken sandwich was delicious, my girls couldn't get enough of the chicken. Surprised by how extensive the menu is relative to how small their shop is. Happy to find this gem!”
“Great spot for breakfast. Table service. The best Cafe de Olla I've had in a while, with a free refill while you're dining. Super friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast burrito was fresh, a big size, chewy tortilla and the filling chopped small so it's well spread throughout. Comes with salsa that's mild and flavorful. Will definitely come back!”
“Enjoyed Friday night 9/16 live music, food, drinks & great service. 2 wks later we reserved the VIP rm for a memorial and repast service for 25 guests. Marsha delivered everything we asked for and it was wonderful. It was a bittersweet day because our 32nd anniversary was 9/29th. But the love shown for our sisters life was priceless.”
“Staying in a hotel near LAX before a flight and needed some laundry doing. I seen this place just over the road and thought I’d try it and was not disappointed, the tacos were delicious and the lady working there was lovely. I highly recommend this place it’s awesome!”
“I am working on a project nearby and discovered this gem. This truly a place you don't look at price and when you do it so more than worth all the selection, freshness and taste. 3x a day. 4x would be great 👍 trying everything on the menu. Great job team.”
“El Rinconcito Monarcas is a great place to stop and enjoy some delicious Mexican food anytime. The food is freshly prepared and the staff is amazing. Lovely Maria even came out from the kitchen to present us with some special service. The dining area is cute, nicely decorated, clean, has bar top seating as well as tables, umbrellas and a flat screen TV for sports fans. Definitely stop by on taco Tuesday or any day for that matter. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Food was good. The fish at the table next to us smelled so good I thought I ordered the wrong thing. But the tacos I had were freaking delicious. I didn't get pictures of our food we were kind of in a rush we started eating quick. The shrimp cocktail was so good it's a sharable amount my wife and I had after the concert (obviously got it to go) it was huge. I had the shrimp and asada tacos with their chipotle Mayo sauce which was bomb. I can keep going but won't definitely recommend this place.”

“Probably one of the best charbroiled burgers around Inglewood. Their grilled chicken burger is pretty hefty, I recommend it if you're looking for a chicken burger. It's filling. I also like their chili cheese burger combo. I think it's a great deal. Fries come with chili cheese and the burger comes with chili too but no cheese. You can also not get chili if you don't like it on your burger. They take phone orders and the service is quick. 🍔👍🏻”
“This has been my favorite spot since the 80s (i'm 42). I've always loved their little chicken wings and chow mein. Even now as an adult and having lived all over California, I've yet to find a place that compares. This is a must stop for me every time I go visit family and I absolutely crave it when I'm not there.
the appearance is old and half shut down, but the Chinese food counter is still going strong. Big portions, delicious food, and great prices. And as a bonus: they are still selling the Orange Julius that I had when I was little too. I dont know how long they've been in business but since i remember them from when i was little, I can safely say at least 40 years and still Killing it.
Love you guys!”
“Always love coming here since I was a young kid. Decided to bring my family this time and it’s still the same. Great delicious food and great service. The pupusas revueltas are the best in my opinion. The server named Ana helped us out and she was very polite and comforting. I recommend you bring your family to this location to dine in or even take out.”
“Went for my 50th birthday while in LA visiting. Delicious margaritas 🍹 Great dance music, nice little dance floor surrounded by mirrors, the owners were awesome!! Outdoor smoking area in between the bar and pool table sides. Me and my bestie had a blast!! Thank you 4 an amazing night!!”
“Very sweet little traditional place with mariscos. The sweetest most beautiful ladies took care of us. So traditional. I had the machaca and eggs, and my daughter had beans and rice. We both had cans of pepsi. The tortillas were fantastic and obviously very freshly made in house. The feng shui is outstanding. Lovely little murals on the walls. A water feature and plants and to top it all off, it does not smell like fabuloso (^o^)(^o^)(^o^)”
“We went to watch a Televised World cup game. It was packed and parking was $40. We thought that was ridiculous, but paid it anyway, as they options were limited. Drinks were $15.”
“I visited nays restaurant and it was a stellar experience. The tacos were deliciously prepared to perfection as usual. I also had homemade nachos and salsa. The presentation was dope because the tacos were nicely stacked up on a food holder which made easier for me to pick them up. I enjoyed my margarita. They had nice R&B music playing in the background, specifically one of favorite songs, who can I run to by Xscape. I did feel a little rushed because of the 20 minute labels placed on all the tables. I’m sure that is meant more for crowded days when people are waiting for tables. It’s a small quant affordable taco diner. The customer service was above and beyond what I expected from a group of young employees. They were polite, attentive, and professional to me. They were productive not hanging out on the counters on their cellphones ignoring customers or anything like that. I was blown away and very impressed with how your employees conducted themselves. They were a very good representation of you and your company. I discovered her vending at one of LA’s taste of soul events & have been following ever since. Nay is inspiring because she’s very humble, personable, and down to earth, beautiful inside & out, intelligent, and the kind of person who you want to support or work with in the food services business. You will get good quality service. Nay is a model entrepreneur for not only the Los Angeles community, but all communities. She’s the first Black owned taco catering business that I have ever known of in LA. I’m so proud of her. She’s a proud Watts native, which is basically an extension of LA. If you haven’t already, I’m not sure what you are waiting for, but check her out in Inglewood or hit her up for your next catering event. Love, Light, Peace, Respect, Community, Care”

“I have been wanting to try this place out for quite a while now. I stay downtown Los Angeles, so it’s a bit of a distance to drive. Since the closing of the Vuuka lounge downtown, there isn’t much of a choice when it comes to African cuisine. Yesterday, which was Sunday I finally had a chance to try it while on break at work. I placed my order online and picked it up from the restaurant myself. I ordered the jollof combo plate and peppered goat soup. Both were very delicious and well seasoned. I did not sit and eat inside the restaurant, so I can’t really tell you guys how the atmosphere is but what I can say is that it is definitely a place everyone should try”

My food was great the server suggested I try the j*** salmon with fried rice and cabbage excellent choice. He also mention Patties which I never had before wow they were good. I appreciate his patience because it was serval occasion were people just walked up trying to order while I was sitting down ordering. Overall great experience I’ll be back soon!!!”
