“Got the papaya salad, pad spicy miso eggplant & shiitake fried rice. Papaya salad- that was pretty spicy, very fresh and crunchy. I couldn't tell if there was papaya in there because it was white? Eggplant- good flavors and well done, needed a bit more rice though because it was again, quite spicy. Shiitake fried rice- no overall complaints, I liked it, but wish it had a bit less oil.”

You don't have to be that guy and make everybody move to go get a drink. You can just move in silence like the g in lasagna.I was nervous what big bro would think of this place, because he is hella picky with his sports bars. When we sat there getting ready to leave, he said "Aye. Good pick lil cuzzo this place is smooth..." It's the epitome of vegetarian fine dining in NYC.I will preface my review by stating that I have not grown up in the fine dining realm; there is probably some level of "appreciation" that I lack. That being said, the food here is great. Presentation, creativity, flavor experience are all on point. However, I couldn't justify the price for the food. I think if you are very curious and want to knock it off your bucket list OR you are someone into fine dining then this is perfect. Otherwise, there are restaurants that I think you get much better bang for your buck for in NYC.”

“Came to Little Mad for a weekend dinner, made a reservation about 2-3 weeks ahead but the place was very spacious and had some empty tables so probably do not need a reservation. Personally I loved the decor of the place, very clean and simple, lots of wooden structures. Our server was very helpful, asked us if it was our first time here, recommended the right amount of food to get, and went over some of the alcohol list with us. There was a raspberry martini we got that was very delicious and has a pretty good kick to it. Food wise, very very delicious. Every course was surprise and I did not feel a single moment of dullness. We started with the yellowtail crudo in between the pear slices, the sauce was so amazing and went so perfectly with the fish and pear. We also got the beef carpaccio, it was delicious. Our mad hot plates were equally as amazing and our main course was probably the best. The galbi steak was to die for, so tender and juicy while the lobster fried rice was so full of flavor. This was one of the best Asian tapas places I've been to and would definitely come back, it was quite a bit pricier than I had expected though in the end so had to take away a star, but if you don't care about the price, this is the perfect place to have a great time with amazing food!”

A good option if you live nearby or have things to do in the area.The Pizzas we got were cooked to perfection. Probably one of the best pizzas I've had in the city. If you like Neapolitan style, you won't find a better dough anywhere. Our dessert, Almond Cremolata was simply delicious.The ambiance was amazing. We sat outside but the tables are heated from above a little bit. We couldn’t really feel the heat though lol. The food was tasty, the escargots were a little overseasoned with garlic. I liked the Chicken Kiev a lot and my friends liked the other dishes as well. I would go back for sure and try the other items on the menu. The dessert was great too. That being said, my friends and I spent a long weekend in East Village partying it up till 6am each night! I still can't believe we did that. But in the midst of our late night partying, we would stop to refuel by grabbing a deli sandwich at this small bodega. You walk in and there is a wall full of colorful signs describing multiple types of sandwiches you can order. All looked spectacular but on the first night I ordered "The Biden". All the ingredients spoke to me and man what a sandwich! The flavor explosion was incredible with sun dried tomatoes and avocado on a croissant. I forget what my buddies got but they were raving about them too. The next night I got a meatball sub with grilled onions and once again I was in Heaven. We all were. So please keep this small business going strong and check out their sandwiches. All across their walls they have photos with celebrities so clearly they are popular. Thank you Sunny and Annie! Your food was one of the best highlights of our trip.”

I felt the rooms were a little small though and lacked some storage space, although I appreciate that it's New York and that's kinda the style the hotel is going for. The coffee shop and the bar are great amenities to visit and make use of.The doors are really thin though and you can hear everything that's going on in the corridor. The walls aren't quite as thin but we could hear an argument that kicked off in the room next door.On balance I would recommend it since it is pretty well located.”

“Los Tacos No.1 is an iconic spot in New York City. The tacos are really fantastic and fresh (though the pork may be a bit too salty for me). This counter order spot at the Chelsea Market gets very busy and popular during peak lunch times. There is not seating at the counter inside, but there are a number of tables outside (and if you walk west there are more, covered tables along the next street. The price is fine and the food is great - very much recommend if you are visiting the Market.”

We decided to wait inside even though it was a tight fit. It was a little chilly outside. I think mostly, people order to pick up or have delivered. So the food was piping hot! But we didn't care, it was so good! And we had 3 different dipping sauces. The really spicy one my husband liked a lot. Two of us enjoyed the soy sauce one. My dad liked the sweet white sugar sauce. Everyone was so happy and we can't wait to return again. Definitely recommend.”

Thankfully, I came across a fellow Yelp friend's glowing review of Figo and knew this was just the place. We came on a dreary day, and there were no customers when we arrived, but honestly, I was too excited to care. The interior was cute and green and gave major spring forest vibes. I did my research so I knew exactly what I wanted. My sister, on the other hand, contemplated between pistachio and caffè and ended up going with the latter. Their prices have risen slightly. It's now $7.50 (instead of $6) for a regular cup of gelato, with up to 2 flavors. The portions are huge though, so two people can easily share a cup. * Ferrero Rocher I was dead set on ordering this flavor, and it was everything I imagined it to be. Sweet, smooth, rich, and creamy, with blended Ferrero Rocher bits. I found an almost whole Ferrero Rocher piece at the bottom of my cup and loved the added crunch. * Caffè Absolutely divine and exactly how I like my coffee. This flavor perfectly balanced the sweet and creamy elements of gelato with the rich and subtle, bitter notes of dark roast coffee. Highly recommend!”

It was also surprising that there were more local customers than Korean customers. Korean food seems to have become more popular now. I really liked the smiles of the staff. I think I'll come here at least once every two days while I'm in Manhattan. Of course, if I lived here, I would want to come every day. Since there are only a few tables, it may be difficult for groups to visit, but they allow about 3 people to sit at each table and arrange about 3-5 tables. Basically, it is more like a take-out store. There were 6 of us, 3 at each table, and we ate well. Highly recommended”

We ordered the squash fritters, foie gras terrine, red shrimp, chicken liver agnolotti and rice pudding for dessert. We were also able to try the kampachi with kumquat and yuzu which was so fresh bright and delicious. The squash fritters had such a light and delicious batter and covered with pecorino. They were amazing. We loved the foie gras terrine with the most delicious sourdough bread. The red shrimp was one of my favorites. So simple and full of flavor. The agnolotti were fantastic. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and were covered in delicious smoked onion jus. The glazed carrots were so unique and delectable. The rice pudding was one of the best we've ever had.
