“We are from out of town and were looking for dinner. I checked out the menu online and liked the choices I saw. We were unsure as we had our kids with us though. We decided to stop in and met with staff who told us that “well-behaved” children are welcomed which is definitely not our children. 😘 But we decided to risk it and the kids behaved and had a blast! This was partially due to a kid friendly menu (my youngest loved the cheezits) and the delicious assortment of cakes offered at dessert. The main reason they had a great time and were well-behaved is the server, Antonio. He was engaging, friendly and helpful. My husband loved the whiskey and bourbon choices (there are three pages of options on the menu)! The pork tacos were to die for and the cornbread is mouthwatering. The kids enjoyed the chocolate cake with cookie dough layers and my teenager and husband enjoyed the carrot cake. My youngest wants to give ten stars but Facebook won’t allow it. We wish we lived in the area so we can come back. When we go to Space Camp we’ll have to stop back.”

“Im literally drooling right now writing this. Their sauce is absolutely different. Its on another level. Their sauce is not like other places that is watery nasty crazy oily. They use butter 🧈 (that’s what makes it different and so special). And PLEASE order garlic noodle, dip them in the sauce. Thank me later. 🫡 and their fried chicken is very good. Clean and neat taste. Don’t get them if you like greasy/salt abused fried chicken”

Serving portions were generous - we left with a Togo box. I highly recommend visiting here.”

“I cannot say enough about how great their customer service was! We set a reservation on-line, they sat us as soon as we walked in. No less than three people other than our server came by our table to check on us throughout the evening. Our server was great and attentive without being annoying or aggressive. The food tasted great! It is pricy, but the serving sizes are decent; many other high-end restaurants charge a lot and have small servings. All around, great!”

“My friend and I stumbled upon this place by chance after getting tired of the rundown dive bars in South Huntsville. We’ve been back at least once a week ever since.

The staff as a whole—Rob, Kaitlyn, Jude, Lauren, RJ, Nikki, and Presley—are incredibly knowledgeable about their respective crafts and create such a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Know nothing about wine but want to take the plunge? Visit Vine & Oak. My friend had never tried wine before but decided to join me because it’s my preferred drink. Kaitlyn, their sommelier, immediately put together a white wine flight for him and explained, in incredible detail, the flavor profile and history behind each of her selections. It turned what could have been an intimidating experience into an unforgettable one.

Their whiskey, gin, tequila, and vodka selections are all impressively diverse, and even their least expensive pours are what I’d consider top-shelf. They recently launched a new cocktail menu where every drink is inspired and crafted by one of the staff members. I never thought I’d be an espresso martini kind of guy, but Jude’s take on the classic has me completely hooked.

Trivia Tuesdays, live music on Thursdays, and a variety of other events throughout the week make every visit feel fresh and exciting. Their wall of wines available by the bottle is extensive, making it nearly impossible not to find something you’ll enjoy.

As a born-and-raised Southern man with a deep military background, a wine and cocktail bar isn’t somewhere I’d normally picture myself spending time. Vine & Oak completely changed that. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or someone who’s never had a glass before, there’s genuinely something here for everyone.”

“I have to visit this place every time I come to Madison. They have 64 rotating beers on tap. Many items on the food menu. I had pizza and chicken wings last night. Both were good. There are eight Diamond brand pools tables. Only one dollar only a game. There are many more game options inside. Very long L shaped bar. The service from the staff has always been excellent. There is different events every night. Last night was trivia and tonight in karaoke. Many television screens inside. Plenty of parking. Everything you need in one place. 21 and over only after 9pm.”

It was so good that the meat doesn't even need sauce. It's a small place, very limited seating. Best to get it to go. They smoke everything around back. All of their pork is exceptional, but their pastor needs to be nationally recognized - crispy and tender, with the perfect balance of savory, fruity, and spicy (both spices and heat), this is easily the best al pastor I’ve ever eaten. Wash it down with a swig of Jarritos Mexican Cola and you have one of the best flavor experiences in North Alabama. Also of note is the salsas, which are fresh and complement the meats perfectly.

“First off I want to say the salad I had the other day was EASILY one of the best salads of my lifetime! Plenty of options for Vegetarians and vegans as well which is a huge plus otherwise I wouldn't have visited this establishment! There is something there for everyone though! Highly recommend the tofu option and the pomegranate marg was everything.. 🫠😋 But best thing overall about this location specifically, is the customer service and great management! You never see restaurants ran this well with such upbeat and helpful employees anymore and management has everything to do with that so big ups to the manager here, Torin! (Hope I spelled that correctly?) He personally makes sure every customer there is satisfied and has everything they need! Will continue to frequent the Town Madison Taco Mama and will recommend to everyone I know that needs meatless options!! Good job guys! 👏👏👏”

Now look, they’re not bad but definitely 100 percent this stand in Madison blows them out of the water. The broth was blah. All they had for greens was coriander/cilantro. The tendons were hard and not tender. I had to order extra broth. What was I thinking. Thank You Pho-Mous for being the hottest, best in North Alabama.”

“I was craving some good chicken tenders and coleslaw. I remembered seeing this place and wanted to try it out. 10/10 in my opinion. The chicken tenders are so tasty and the sauces are all great. We tried bbq sauce, honey mustard and ranch. We also had the fries which were amazing! We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu and to try some of the custard. The price for 7 tenders, regular fry, coleslaw and 2 extra sauces came out to a little over 20 bucks.”

I have had these tacos a few times now. I have had tacos in many states and countries. These tacos are top tier and have a truly authentic flavor and texture. The birria tacos were outstanding and fried to perfection. The consomme’ was rich and worthy of sipping after the tacos were gone. The beef tacos, marinated pork, and chicken were on point as well. The speed of the food preparation and the presentation of the food were top notch! Also the salsa verde and pepper sauces provided a kick that complemented the flavor of the food. WELL DONE!!!!!!!!”

“Cava in Madison is excellent! I am not a big fan of Mediterranean food, but my wife loves Cava. I finally went with her and it was amazing! I liked that I could choose what I wanted to put in it versus a premade meal, and it helps to know that all the ingredients for the most part are healthy, which is important for me as a plant-based eater. I wish I remember the manager’s name but she gave me an amazing first time customer deal that day (note: I did not and am not saying there’s always a first time customer deal, so please don’t go in demanding one 🤣)! It was also very clean and the ambience was nice. Five star rating! Would go back again!”

“Chai Samosa is THE hidden culinary gem in Madison. It's consistently the BEST Indian food of all the options out there. Seriously, if this place wasn't sort of hidden away it would be outrageously popular (I'm kinda glad it's not!).

“Last night my husband and I had a delicious dinner at Kobe. Although we had dined there a few times with our sushi lover family, last night we were on our own. We are fairly new to sushi and the staff provided us with some excellent selection advice that suited our differing tastes perfectly. The service was attentive and the atmosphere pleasant. As they held the door for me to leave, my husband was crossing the parking lot and fell. Immediately we were surrounded by several of the staff who ran to help. They assisted him to our car and made sure we were both safe in every way and that my husband's injuries were minor. I am so grateful for their immediate and caring response which obviously was totally motivated for their desire to help. This restaurant is not only a fine place to eat but is filled with a staff of truly fine and caring people. You can feel good about going there!”

“My husband Davis and his guy friends from Fellowship United Methodist Church meet at Just Love Coffee, Madison about three morning a week. They have any where from 5 to 12 guys showing up. “we went this evening for the first time in ages (do they'll survive without my support for ages to come). Came in with friends and was seated. Waitress got drink order, and brought that. a friend ordered 3 Tres Amigos and said the kids would get something different, There was 5 adults and 4 kids. Waitress had to be told that there was more orders after returning with drink refills. Food was great, no complaints there. she brought the tickets (we were split into 2 tickets) I had an extra charge on my ticket, when I asked about the charge she said it was because she brought one of the kids drinks in a regular cup !? what!? Both of the kids ordered from the kids menu (yes both under 11) she reduced the drink price although its included in the meal, I paid for the drink as another drink. Waitress was rude, not attentive, and careless. I was also charged more for my appetizer Quesadilla than what I should have. I gave up trying to explain anything when the waitress went sour.”

Normally I dont wat the crust but u ate everything. Lol - Being from the midwest and accustomed to deep dish this was a nice change. Afterwards I didn't have that heavy bloated feeling. “We've been to Cooper's Hawk at Clift Farms three times. If I were reviewing based on our first visit, it would be an easy five out of five stars. Food has been excellent every time. The first visit, service was among the best we've had anywhere in Huntsville or Madison.

I wish I'd gotten our server's name that time so we could've asked for him again, because our next two visits, including the one tonight, were utterly abysmal in the service department. We had been in our booth for a solid 30 minutes and during that time had only one visit from our server to get an initial wine order. I had to go ask a different server if he could go get our server so we could get our wine. He wound up bringing them to us himself. If he's our server next time (and there not be a next time), I'll absolutely ask for a different server. He was nice, but almost totally absent. The server for the table next to ours checked on their table literally 10 times compared to the one time our server had visited our table.

Anyway... That overshadowed the food, which was excellent. I got the red wine short rib and my wife got the skirt steak salad. My short rib was tender and tasted phenomenal. Mashed potatoes were also excellent. Green beans, too.

My wife loved her salad and skirt steak, and the couple we came with spoke highly of the shrimp and scallop risotto as well as the filet.

I teetered between three and four stars for this rating, but if you read the above, you can decide for yourself.”
