I've only visited once. I like the place and would definitely return to try more of their all-vegan food. I had a meatball sub which was tasty, but the marinara sauce was rather bland for my tastes. This was surprising since marinara is already vegan. Otherwise would have been a 5-star review.
This place is amazing. Nice energy, great music. The wait for food can be rather long, but the food is great and it's some of the best vegan food I have ever had. If you are just passing through and you are vegan, this place is a must.
FANTASTIC vegan place. Don't be fooled by the menu everything is vegan and delicious. Everything made in house and available to take some home with you. Like a true deli. They have tons of different options to suit all kinds of needs. Outdoor and indoor seating on nice days. And friendly helpful staff. Would highly recommend this place.
Delicious food. The cookies? Holy smokes! Friendly staff. Very happy with my first experience.
Incredible food! Great atmosphere. Totally missing the bacon doughnut though :( should totally come back :) Also order your thanksgiving meal in advance! Don't miss out.

Honestly, IF I could give this place a sixth star, I would! It's just fantastic! The food is exotic, fresh and really creative. The service is terrific! And if you buddy up to your wait person, they have off-menu treats and cocktails that are worth exploring. I can't wait to go back and explore more!
I've never had anything like it. Went to Berkley yo visit friends and came here for dinner. Food, fantastic! Service, top notch! Drinks, amazing!
Really good izakaya. The braised pork belly and squid ink rice is really good. Also nice selection of japanese beer and yakitori!
This is a fun and romantic Japanese snack bar. It has very good yet expensive skewers (7-9 dollar/2 skewers). I wouldn't say the food matches the price. However, the uniqueness of this place is that it allows you to really sit down and talk to your friends for more than 3+ hours. Have some sake, enjoy life.
The food is very good but it's overpriced and difficult to figure out how much food is appropriate. Everything is basically meat on skewers and the skewers are $3-8 each. It was very difficult to come here as a group, we ended by getting a second dinner afterwards.

This is a review of the space, service and Fried Chicken Tikka Masala and Waffle.
Everything was so flavorful and imaginative. Keep an open mind and let your server guide you. Tip: the runny egg thing actually works!
I love this place. The menu is simple and limited as you basically have to order the daily pizza, however this assures you it is always creative and FRESH. You do not really know what you will eat until you get there and see what is being offered, but you never go wrong, as it is always delicious.
I went to Cheese Board pizza for lunch today. So impressed by the place. Excellent thin crust pizza with four cheeses. There was a long queue but so worth it. Would highly recommend Cheese Board Pizza.👌👍
This wonderful restaurant in the Claremont is top notch. Great view, service and food. Wait staff is wonderful and very attentive to your every need. My husband has trouble walking and they are very helpful

Interesting Korean fusion but a lot better than other places around Berkeley. The million dollar bacon is something I would try once and not touch again (super greasy and fattening, lots of flavor). I got the burger, which was pretty good. The service was good as well.
Finally! A place with great Korean food I don't have to drive miles and miles for! Went for the classics: fried chicken and galbi. Best I've had in a while. Also added the sampler platter, which was too much food! No complaints though, made an excellent next day meal 😋. Next time we'll be more adventurous in choices!
The food here is awesome. Some many options I went with the frech toast, million dollar bacon plus the coconut latte = a wonderful new comfort food meal. The service for our large party of 14 was great including the pillow for my nephew for the highchair. Will return soon for the pancakes!
This place had some really good food. I split three dishes with three friends. We had KFC, short ribs, and some sort of hamburger over rice. The hamburger was very mediocre, but the other two were well worth it. Good beer to accompany it too. It's a bit high in price for the amount of food you get though, so don't expect to leave with a check under $20.
This place is great! The KFC bowl and salad are highly recommend. The millionaire bacon wonderful. Great selection of beers. A very nice sangria. The chocolate soufflett is great. Go. Now!

Definitely well into the "$$" price range, but so worth it for a nice treat. One of the better dining experiences I have had in a while - the food was delicious. (I tried the fried chick and jambalaya.) The fried chicken was somewhat of a light portion and the jambalaya was the opposite. If you're going with two people, I suggest splitting those two dishes. The potato salad and Brussels sprouts were very tasty, and the mac and cheese was good but nothing exciting.
Absolutely delicious!!! I have had a lot of mac & cheese and this was probably the best I have had!! I highly recommend getting it with bacon. The fried chicken was also quick possibly the best I have had. It was chicken breast, so less traditional, but it was perfect. The hush puppies were perfectly crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. We also order the baby back ribs, which were tangy and falling off the bone. I also highly recommend the binets! We will be returning.
If i could give more stars I would!!! This place was so good, we went out of our way to go back the next day. We ordered a lot of alacart to try many things. Everything was delicious! The red beans and rice side dish was out of thus world!
Bustling Ambience, Okay Food Angeline's is busy. We were there Friday evening. Many were waiting for tables. It was bustling. There were 8 of us and we ordered a variety of entrees. I had the fried chicken. It was good. Another friend ordered the crawfish which I tried - not bad. BBQ ribs - good. Fried oyster - not bad. Mac and cheese - not bad. A few other dishes which I didn't try. Overall the food is not bad. Probably not so up my alley. Good to try. But I probably won't have it again.
Food was great dessert was great coffee was on point. Family style dining sharing the food was nice. Will update wit pictures and more later. 😎😉
