We missed him this last visit, however, Tasha was also a fantastic Waitress. We loved The Burrata, and my lady was delighted with The Jumbo Scallops. I just can't stray away from your Fourk Chop. I'll try something else next time.”

“My wife and I were in Hickory for the 1st time during the 1st weekend of June. We love exploring breweries when in new towns. We stumbled upon Olde Hickory Brewery and absolutely loved it. The bartender, Jon, asked what we liked and explained all the beers they had, how long they’ve been in business and the restaurants and pub owned by them. He patiently answered all our questions and gave us samples of beers that interested us. We loved Photon Sphere (very interesting brew), The Event Horizon, and all the beers in the Nova series. Jon explained them very accurately. When he had time, he sat with us and talked for a couple of minutes. Before we left town we came back to buy beer to bring home to Alpharetta, GA. To our surprise, Jon remembered our names! Even though the brewery was much busier, we notice he gave the same attention to all the customers. He seemed to truly love talking to people. The beer, Jon, and atmosphere were all great. If you are near Hickory- go there. If we come back we sure will. Thanks, Jon!”

Every appetizer, entree, and dessert are delicious and beautifully plated. The atmosphere is upscale without being stuffy. Prices are in line with the food and service received. The cashier stared at us the whole time and asked us to hurry. They told us we had a limit of an hour inside. We didn't question it and left. This was 3 years ago. Could of been my new favorite coffee spot. Have not and will not be back.”

Both are soft and filled with vanilla buttercream that is smooth not broken. I also love the little banana bread loaves moist with chocolate chips and pecans, only thing I wish they were much bigger. We will be bringing our grandson to play putt putt soon. What fun! Support home town, it’s so worth it!”

“I placed my order online and went inside to pick up my order. This was at lunchtime, so the restaurant had a good flow of customers. I didn't go to the counter to ask if my order was ready. But I noticed people that came in and ordered at the counter, got their bag before I did. So, i just went to one of the workers and asked if they had a bag with my last name. And after a minute or so I did get my bag and leave the restaurant. Everyone was working, and the cook's community back and forth.”

“This is my all time favorite place to order a cake from - they are THE most delicious cakes, cupcakes and cake plops I have ever tasted since the cakes my mother used to make. Nothing else compares. The service is great, people are phenomenal and experience is top notch. You will NOT be disappointed to give this bakery a chance with your order. Thank you to Corner Bakery for pulling the order for our bridal shower off without a hitch and we want you to know that there were so many that raved over the cakes and cupcakes. “I stumbled upon this place without knowing anything about it, and I'm so glad I decided to stop in and check it out! It's a cozy little place with an awesome karaoke stage, full bar and a food menu. The atmosphere is great and the energy of the attendees are fun and lively. I met the owners personally and they are amazing and super friendly. If you are looking for a relaxed place with good drinks and love to karaoke your heart out, look no further! They also have 2 pool tables that are free to play (first come first serve), but be prepared to share in the vibe of friendship and socializing!

Note: It's a mostly stand up environment due to the capacity and space. Security is present to check for ID at the (back) door entrance, so 21+ only allowed. They are currently open Friday and Saturday only, 8pm - 1am, which happens to be perfect for my schedule. 😀 See you soon!”

“This Culvers was extremely impressive. We stopped by for lunch on our way to Asheville. When I say they were busy, that may be an understatement. Line out the door, drive thru lined up, parking lot FULL. Being that we had received a Culver's gift card for christmas, we decided to go ahead and stay. The staff was extremely friendly. We waited about 10 minutes in line to order considering the amount of people. Then only had to wait about 15 minutes for our hot and fresh food to be at our table. I have experienced longer wait times at other Culver's in an environment that was not a fraction of the amount of busy they were. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I want to give props to the crew working. They were on it! Everything was clean, even the drink station! As stated before, very impressed with how this location is ran. Like a smooth sailing ship. Great job guys!”

I come through at least 3 mornings per week on my way to work for breakfast, and every time they are so kind, respectful and have the best customer service! I've been a patron at this location for about 10 years or more and they truly have some of the best staff around! I particularly love my early morning staff, such as Ava, Caleb (×2), Jessica and so many more! They simply make my days brighter, and also serve delicious food! I will forever be partial to this location and staff! 😊❤️”

A lot of subways just slap everything together and don't put an effort but they did for sure. I put extra pickles and they delivered. The sub was amazing. “This is the best chicken place in Hickory now, by a mile (East Coast Wings has gone way downhill and their max spice level being X-hot now is just sad). The menu isn't huge because everything they do (I've tried everything I believe), they do very well. The prices are also really good. Do yourself a favor and try it out. You won't want to go anywhere else in the city for chicken, unless you need a whole one, spicy or not.”
