“Ordered the 6oz filet with fries and chicken wings.
There is no picture of the wings. They were so good they dissappear before I could get a picture.
My son took me out for lunch to celebrate his Black Belt ceremony.
My steak tasted really good, and had it been cooked to order, it would have been awesome.
My regret is not sending it back because I ordered medium rare, and I get medium well, and that disappointed me.
I wonder if someone received my steak or did the chef just overcook it.”

We missed him this last visit, however, Tasha was also a fantastic Waitress. We loved The Burrata, and my lady was delighted with The Jumbo Scallops. I just can't stray away from your Fourk Chop. The Fanny Pack Hazy IPA is dangerously good, and the Carrot Cake Stout is basically dessert in a glass. The pretzels with beer cheese hit the spot, and the whole place has a relaxed, friendly vibe—perfect for hanging with friends or just chilling on the patio.

“My husband and I are “foodies” and we absolutely LOVE the Vintage House in Hickory. We would rank this restaurant as one of the top in NC. Every appetizer, entree, and dessert are delicious and beautifully plated. The atmosphere is upscale without being stuffy. Prices are in line with the food and service received. All staff are excellent, and we particularly appreciate the warm welcome we always receive from Jack. We are very thankful to have such an excellent restaurant in our hometown!”

“Met my boyfriend for our first date here 3 years ago. Just recently moved back to this area, was looking for a chill coffee spot. Went here once by myself. Neat spot, good atmosphere. We sat inside. The cashier stared at us the whole time and asked us to hurry. They told us we had a limit of an hour inside. We didn't question it and left. This was 3 years ago. Could of been my new favorite coffee spot. Have not and will not be back.”

“I just love this little bakery. They are always welcoming and so sweet. I love the whoopie pies they make. My favorites are pumpkin and oatmeal. Both are soft and filled with vanilla buttercream that is smooth not broken. I also love the little banana bread loaves moist with chocolate chips and pecans, only thing I wish they were much bigger. We will be bringing our grandson to play putt putt soon. What fun! Support home town, it’s so worth it!”

Cameron and Nastacia were both nice and engaging during my time and made me feel welcome to come back and try them again! I got the Bluebird Iced Latte with Oatmilk which reminds me of a cinnamon blueberry muffin (as if you got a blueberry muffin from Panera and added cinnamon to it). I look forward to my next visit!”

“We were sat near a very large party, so we had to wait a little while on our server. She was nice and friendly. Our food came pretty quickly and tasted great. The only downside is the higher prices because they charge $16 for a plate of Alfredo noodles with no meat. We eat here pretty often, but it would be nice to see lower prices on plain noodles. We've noticed overtime that the bread sticks aren't as good, they're lacking in flavor.”

“I am so happy that my indecisive self decided to give this place a try. I have not been impressed with most of the establishments in the area. My wife and I usually travel to Asheville for good food. On a Sunday there weren’t a lot of options. We decided to give backstreets a try. It’s been years since I ate here and didn’t remember. She got Cajun chicken pasta and I got possibly the best Rueben I’ve had in years. I’d say the pasta is better than Cheesecake Factory. The only negative thing was the judgy couple sitting beside us. However, they cannot control who comes through their doors. The service was excellent and I’m so happy I found a place I am happy with locally.”

This food is amazing and flavorful. I am very very picky with food. I eat a bean, cheese, rice burrito with red and green sauce religiously. Super flavorful and I can tell the quality of ingredients they genuinely care about. This is the first time I have found a place that has made a perfect replica of my favorite simple burrito. I will back forever as I eat a lot of burritos. My man eats chicken quesadilla and he also was blown away and will also be back. We are beyond impressed and I will be recommending this food truck to everyone 🔥🔥🔥”

“I found the best treat in Hickory. I think I found my favorite flavor, the name is called Pink Protect. It tastes like a liquid sweet tart. This is literally a healthy liquid candy drink. The ingredients say strawberries, apple, lemon and lime. From how good this tastes you would think it would have added sugar but it does not.”

Unlike a few other places, this location always has their pizza cooked properly incorrectly. The deep dish crust is always crispy the way it should be, and everything is always completed in a timely fashion. The best Little Caesars store I have ever ordered from. Can’t recommend them enough and they deserve this glowing review.”

I've been a patron at this location for about 10 years or more and they truly have some of the best staff around! The décor could benefit from some tidying up—hiding the back counters and removing the room dividers would create a more polished, upscale feel and show greater attention to detail in the overall atmosphere.”

Somehow Jack in the Box has managed to sustain their late hours and keep decent employees.
