“What a phenomenal experience at LUFU! The food was amazing with rich flavors and the service was exceptional. We enjoyed all of the recommendations our waiter gave and enjoyed his conversation. We will definitely add this to our “must haves” when visiting New Orleans.”
“Have been here several times and it never disappoints. But this time just seemed special. 4th day of jazz fest crowds and yet all of the staff was above and beyond. Our lead waiter Aaron was just as kind, pleasant, happy, energetic, happy and helpful as you could possibly hope for. And the food and drinks were perfect. Can’t wait to return. But there’s more. The desserts were beyond belief. Then Kenneth came and sang happy birthday table side for my wife. He was so sweet and kind and what an amazing voice. What an experience.”
“Super place for breakfast. We loved everything we ordered. We had bread pudding pancakes and they were very special and not overly sweet. Poached eggs with pork and shrimps were amazing, as well as shrimp and grits. The service was fast and servers friendly and helpful”
“We absolutely love this restaurant, the people working there were wonderful, our dinner was delicious, the red beans app is to die for and topped off with delightful Madeleines for desert. We will eat here anytime we are in town.”
“sometimes over hyped viral places suck...this one does not. absolutely worth it. we got the fried bologna sandwich and the collard greens melt, both were incredible. huge portions, medium prices (15-20$ each), but very very worth it.”

“Bob Boudreau and I were in NOLA for 9 nights. Three of the nights we had reservations at other places with family. Our 1st night we looked up and found Jewel of the South. We loved it so much. we asked our nephew, his medical school advisor and his wife to join us. All three lived in NOLA and had never been here. All 5 of us would definitely go back in a heart beat. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great drinks. Great staff. GREAT ALL AROUND! FIVE STARS for Jewel of the South.”
“Paladar 511 came highly recommended by the locals, which is always a good sign. Everything about this place was exceptional. We will definitely return when back in NOLA.”

“The food was so tasty, as always! Bosco had a very cheerful and cheeky personality that made ordering a fun moment. The service was wonderful; my water glass was never empty. The music was also so lovely and we came at a time where it wasn’t too crowded. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience!”

“The service is fast, efficient, and completely knowledgeable on menu selection. The food is always much better than expected & portion sizes are perfect, even for sharing. Every time we dine here, we have expectations not met but exceeded. Doris Metropolitan is our #1 Nola pick every time!”

“What an awesome gem that we found on the way to the Jazz Fest. Located in Mid-City, the building and the restaurant has been around for a long time. We arrived at 10:30am and had a yummy roast beef & gravy po boy on the best bread I have ever had on a sandwich!! The venue is set up for community and it was clear that all are welcome. Even in the morning, the staff was friendly and inviting and the locals and tourists were coming by for great food, drinks, and a good time.”
“Truly one of the best and most unique dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life. A wonderful tribute to Senegalese and Creole food. The staff was absolutely incredible — so friendly and knowledgeable. Explained Senegalese transitions and even started the meal with a table side hand wash. They weren’t stuffy either, which can be common at restaurants at this caliber. They really made our experience top notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. All locally sourced and in season ingredients. Will absolutely tell anyone visiting to go to Dakar.”
“absolutely amazing, I am a Traveling Chefthe oysters were melting your mouth. The beef tartar was perfectly seasoned. The drinks were amazing.I’ve been traveling to the city here now for the past three months and pass this place a few times because it was so busy. I was luckily to come in here, on a Thursday night, and not that many people are sitting at the bar I was invited with professionalism.creativity in the cocktails I will be coming back. Looking forward to seeing you guys next week. Thank you.Cheers”

“It’s been a while since we visited Plume, but we have always had SUCH a great experience! The food is delicious - my favs include the fried chicken and the naan. If you can’t eat in, the food travels/delivers very well to your house and is still very yummy!”
“Keyshawn was not a friendly server. Tracy was amazing! Food was great. Highly recommend visiting this historic establishment. Please retrain Keshawn to treat ALL customers the same and try to contain her unfriendliness. Overall we did enjoy our experience! A must try!”
“I do not have the words to do this place justice. The interior is lovely and very fitting for the French Quarter but the patio is the best! The food is so delicious that I would be happy to eat every meal there. The attentiveness of the staff was incredible - they know their menu (bar and kitchen) and make great suggestions based on what you like not what they are trying to "move".”

“Go!! It’s SO GOOD! Ordered catering the other day and everyone at the party looovvveedddd everything. So many “wow where is this from?!” questions. Even packaged perfectly to keep things crispy. Have been in person too and it’s a cute spot, great for kids and for outdoor beverages. It’s super interesting and tasty, but fulfills the need for perfectly crunchy and juicy chicken and fish bites. (The vegetarian nuggets are also sooo good.) Thanks W+S!!!!”

“One of the best dining experiences my wife and I ever had. It is a true culinary delight that awakens your taste buds. Braiden was an excellent server who takes pride in his work and it shows! Thank you for a wonderful evening.”
“Completely exceptional dining experience. I am so glad we found this little gem. The menu is set daily, based on what is fresh. And it is made to perfection. Our server, Rene, was extremely kind, and engaging. I truly didn’t expect such a good experience, considering the atmosphere - candidly it’s very ~meh~. But I considered that part of its charm. Also, the prices are totally fair and reasonable. Don’t sleep on this place. It’s so so so good.”

“Booked BABs on a whim as part of a quick getaway to NOLA. Was not disappointed! Creative mocktail and cocktail menu. Wonderful beer and wine list. Appetizers were heavenly and exquisite. Entrees were fresh and delicious, while being new takes on American cuisine. Staff was eager to please while not being snide or fake. Opinions were honest and questions were thoroughly answered. We're very guarded of our New Orleans meals when we visit. I won't hesitate to book Bywater American Bistro on our next trip!”
“Had the most divine time and the staff was amazing. I got to know the owner's children who are amazing young men. They were very welcoming and informative about the history of the restaurant. Had the red snapper with rice and the veggie tray with injera bread. Gonna use my leftover injera for twist-on crepes in the morning.”
“Bar R’evolution is everything I want in a New Orleans destination: Good food; superior libations; professional staff; and engaging conversation with patrons. Last night’s meal of bone marrow, butter-poached lobster and smoked duck exceeded expectations. The 20-year-old Tawny Port arrived in a huge(!) bottle - my bar mates went wild. Thanks for a great meal.”
“Didn't get to try much food but the flavored butters are insane. Its small cocktail list but man they do it well and they do their own spin on them as well I would love to come back here”
“Had the butter chicken, garlic butter naan and a mango lassi. Everything was wonderful, great flavor and perfectly crisp and airy naan. Lassi was perfect consistency and very refreshing.”
“Food, cocktails & service are all top notch. Recommend sitting at the chef’s counter if you get the chance…it’s a great way to watch the craftsmanship that goes into every dish. We will definitely go back next time we’re in town.”
“The courtyard is very charming and it had all the makings of a beautiful classy place. The service was quite slow. We didn't get a drink for 35 minutes. The portions were small (though the food was delicious). Lastly, there was a table of wildly drunk bros nearby watching a baseball game on their phone. Just not what I was expecting.Wait, also, the "mixed olives" were 80% kalamata.”

“Amazing food. Trendy vibes, great lunch spot, full bar, dog friendly patio. Restaurant partners with a local farm to source their meat. We always make it a point to stop here on our annual trip and stock up on charcuterie to bring home.”

“We spent some time in the French Quarter and decided to try a couple different spots to find the best sandwich we could. The fried shrimp poboy from Verti Marte blew all of the competition out of the water. The place feels unapologetically authentic, and the staff was friendly enough to give us some recommendations on where to get a good muffuletta sandwich (they were out of the bread) and what their favorite beignet spots were. Overall we highly recommend.”
“Stranger to the neighborhood and found this delightful place to chill and eat! I highly recommend the mushroom and Swiss burger, along with a vodka and cranberry cocktail. The bartender is so welcoming.”
“This is not fancy, this is an epically perfect dive bar. We headed here in NOLA to watch MSU game for the tournament. There were plenty of TVs, comfortable seating, and we sat right at the bar. Bartender was attentive, knowledgeable, and hilarious. Also the drinks are NOT weak! The food was totally perfect, definitely recommend the pizza and the potato skins. We did a lot while in New Orleans but this was one of our fav experiences.”
“Cute old-fashioned dinner! Food was just what you would expect to find, simple comfort food. Breakfast served all day. Small space, but clean and cute. Watch your food made right in front of you. Everything we had was really good! Great windows to watch people walk down bourbon street while you eat.”
“The service here was sooooo slow. Spent 2 hours there but the food was really good! Order the alligator half fried half blackened. SO YUMMY! The shrimp and crawfish pasta comes with sooooo much seafood which is amazing! Shrimp po'boy is okay. Really yummy gumbo!”
“A very nice escape from the Bourbon St madness. This place somehow manages to be a dive bar, and trendy at the same time. It's a friendly, intimate environment, with comfortable lounge furniture tucked away in a few corners, and a beautiful courtyard out back. I know a few other reviews mention the bathrooms, and they are certainly quirky; however, for me it was in more of a made you smile type way. They were extremely dark, only lighted by a pink neon sign. There is no mirror, so don't go in expected to tidy up your appearance. I have to assume these were conscious decisions made by whoever designed/decorated the place. What better way to say we don't care what you look like, and neither should you than to give customers no mirror or light to check their appearance in. There isn't much signage out front, so it'd be easy to miss when the doors are close. They just have a small hanging sign that says something along the lines of "last stop before the tourist traps" which I found to be both clever and true. I wouldn't say the drinks are cheap, but the quality is excellent and they are relatively affordable for what you'd be asked to pay at most any other bar near Bourbon. The bartender was extremely nice, and the drinks were finished quickly. I didn't get to spend nearly as much time here as I would have liked because we had a busy afternoon ahead, but High Grace will certainly top the lists of bars I stop off in next time I'm near the French Quarter.”
“Such good service! Popped in for an appetizer one night then came back for breakfast. Service was good, we got sat quickly & got our food not long after. Next time we'd go for dinner or lunch when we're in New Orleans.”
“If you're into a dive bar vibe, this is the place for you. It actually has a coin operated laundromat in the bar and the bartender will give you a cup of soap. My GF and I did a load of wash and enjoyed some shots and cocktails while we waited. We went there three times in our ten day visit to NOLA simply just to chill and have some cheap drinks.”
“It’s rare to find any diamond, much rarer to find a true diamond in the rough. This is a dive bar but it is a true diamond. It looks like a dive bar inside and out. It serves cold beer, alcohol and the only food item is Boiled Mudbugs. You know this place is serious about their crawfish when as your eyes adjust to the darkness you see a huge 100 gallon chest of warm mud critters for self service on one end of the bar and then long tables with a big hole in the middle and paper towel rolls everywhere. The crayfish are big and fresh caught. They are not overcooked or mushy. Cooked with real fresh pepper cayenne peppers, red potatoes, sweet corn, garlic heads, sausage, onions and blend of spices. Unlike most boils there wasn’t the over use gritty cayenne spice feel on the bugs. They were spiced just not so hot it blocks the flavors. Now those of you who think that the heavy use of dry cayenne is the only way we’ll think again. Oh by the way remember to wash your hands before going to the bathroom or rubbing your eyes.I’ve had home cooked boiled crawfish for over 50 years. I’ve found good mudbugs in small family owned restaurants near the waters edge on the bayou, in Asian eateries, backyard parties and many a eateries. But this place was the absolute best. The place is apparently known by local professional chefs and food workers , also its received great reviews by TV cooking shows and even liked by Americas Foodies.”
“Joann was AMAZING!! Very down to earth, friendly, knowledgeable about NOLA, and made great drinks. We are visiting for the history of the area and to experience some true New Orleans stuff. She gave us so many amazing suggestions and made us feel so welcome. Such a great little bar on the outskirts of the French Quarter. If you want a great bar without all the crazy, drunk chaos of Bourbon Street, I highly recommend The Voodoo Lounge. Though I won’t lie, Joann made our experience!!”
“We found this bar by chance while seeking shelter from the rain. It has a quirky theme centered around toilets, which adds a fun touch. Keep in mind, they only accept cash. The drinks here are big and pack a punch, starting at around $6 for basic options. Expect to mingle with a local crowd.”
“I’ve heard the bartenders are great here and this is the place. I went Monday night, the bartender was ugly af. He knocked over a whole glass of wine on my friend and was unapologetic. Then charge my friend $6 for a Water. He said he was new lol We are service industry, we tip. The disrespect is not okay.”
“We made this place a stop on our celebration of my youngest's 21st birthday pub crawl, and enjoyed our visit and drinks! We went upstairs where we could toss some beads from the balcony and had a great drink and chat with the bartender, who gave us some good ideas on other places to visit. Everyone was friendly, the place felt clean, and the atmosphere was great. Thank you for being part of our evening!”
“First Aunt Tiki’s experience was about 15 years ago. This year my wife let me bring the kids. My 23 year old and I went to see my Cowboys get beat on Christmas Eve. Love this bar. New and fantastic every time I sneak in. Unfortunately after I left, in the rain, slip sliding over to Bourbon St. I eventually slipped my best slip and fractured my fibula, skinned my knees and scabbed up my forehead. I’m paying for it now but it was an epic adventure. Love all of you there but I’m gonna give the old liver a break for a while. 10 out of 10 if you’re cool!”
“Outstanding food! Probably the best jerk chicken I've had! Service was okay - could've refilled waters and they didn't get me a receipt, but the owner came and talked and was great. A little generic in the atmosphere, but not bad. Overall would go again, for sure.”

“I stopped here on the way home from New Orleans, only 2 miles off I-10, so not really out of the way. We have a long drive, so I selected a steamed char sui bun, Pate Chaud, meat pie, Crawfish pie, coconut macaroons, mochi, and a pineapple bar. Omg, the Crawfish pie! It had so much filling, Crawfish, bamboo shoots, scallions, and seasonings I'm not sure of, but it was very spicy and delicious! I'm trying to find a recipe for it in my Vietnamese cooking group, because Google turned up nothing. The Pate Chaud was delicious too, but not as much filling as I wanted. The coconut macaroons were amazing, and surprisingly made without sweetened condensed milk, but you would never know that except for the ingredient list. The pineapple bar was not too sweet, as it looked, perfect for me. The mochi were delicious, with the all familiar chew. Have two more pies to sample, but I have no doubt they will be delicious too!”

“We were welcomed even we made it nick of time before closing. We ordered Special Fried Oysters, Shrimps & Beignet and Sandwich/Soup (Shrimp Po'Boy and Gumbo). Blue Hurricanes! Did not disappoint. Cozy interior dining!”
“Such a great place. The options available blew my mind. So grateful for vegan options. It was also really great to see other customers choosing vegan soul food and really looking after themselves”
“If you plan to visit the famed Cafe du Monde while in NOLA (which I recommend), I recommend this location. It is in city park and right next to the New Orleans art museum. I did not have to wait at all midday and they accepted card payment. The beignets come in sets of 3 and were amazing. The iced cafe au lait was quite good. Important note for those that this effects was that they told me they only have whole milk products for their coffees.”
“My friend and I experienced the Chloe for lunch last week 10/12/23 and it was absolutely the best lunch from start to end I have ever had. The goat cheese, pepper and garlic starter is so full of flavor I can’t even describe how happy it made my taste buds. Every bite of food I had was simply perfection. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful in their recommendations. I honestly am planning another weekend trip simply to dine here again. This is a MUST eat while in town. Thank you all for this memorable experience.”
“If you are a breakfast person, you NEED to check this place out. Right as you come in your greeted by their wonderful display of baked goods. The host and wait staff are amicable and courteous. The restaurant itself is very well lit with ambient light from the ceiling to floor windows and nice Edison bulb lighting. The food is excellent, every plate coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. I highly recommend the crab cheese appetizer and the salmon Benedict. And of course, can’t go wrong with the homemade biscuits. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town.”
“Everything was amazing!! The ambience, staff and food…oysters bed, curried gumbo, pork vindaloo, and crème brûlée were all spot on. Next time I visit my family will definitely come back to enjoy again.”
“This place was so nice. I am here visiting and the staff were kind and the food is good! Definitely a great place to go and enjoy the company of others or just yourself.”
“I love Lil Dizzy’s food! The gumbo is like no other. The crawfish bisque is absolutely amazing. The fried chicken is just like my grandma’s. OMG I can go on and on, the Mac and sweet potatoes, potato salad, and so much more! You have to experience this place for yourself.”
“Wow, just wow. Was in New-Orleans for 5 days and we missed healthy foods with veggies !! And OH MY GOD ! The hummus with the fried chicken is a farce !! I would have it every days of my life !!! We had falafel and khebab and it was over our expectation !! Went there because we saw it on Somebody Feed Phil’s Netflix series. Thank you so much !! Will be a reason to come back in New-Orleans ! Merci beaucoup !”
“Best beignets ever! You also can't go wrong with their other delicious desserts. This was recommended by locals and now I see why. We are always bringing some home everytime. Light and flaky, not thick. The Rampart location has more selection, but you can grab your favorites in the French Market”
“My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Morning Call Coffee Stand in New Orleans, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly made beignets and café au lait. The service was lightning-fast, and despite being a cash-only establishment, we were in and out in no time. The staff members were not only efficient but also had a great sense of humor, adding a playful touch to our morning routine. As for the food, it was simply divine. The beignets were light, fluffy, and dusted with just the right amount of powdered sugar, while the café au lait was rich and creamy, the perfect complement to the sweet treats.Overall, Morning Call Coffee Stand provided us with a memorable breakfast experience that perfectly encapsulated the charm and flavor of New Orleans. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is definitely worth a visit.”

“We were here in NOLA over the St. Paddy’s Day weekend. We dined at Stanley twice while we were here. We loved the food and drinks we had and Tonya was so very nice and pleasant and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We will definitely make it a point to dine at Stanley again on our next trip. Don & Perry, Dallas. 3/18/24”
“While in NOLA we always stop here and are always happy with the food, service and atmosphere in general. It’s enough away from the Bourbon atmosphere but close enough at the same, if you have a preference. It was clean, fast and friendly. All good!”
“I love me some Chubbies Fried Chicken, best chicken around. Every time I come to New Orleans I make sure I get some fried chicken. This time I am taking deliveries back to Florida with me.”
“I'm so glad they are back! I love this as a lunch option in MidCity. They have a great mission and their food is good, a win win! And personally, I'm ecstatic they brought back their black bean burger.”
“I just had their home made BOUDIN w/ crackers, Crystal and creole mustard! as good as I have ever had! I met the girl that made it at the meat counter on April 18…she was proud and should be!”
“This place has wut alot of bars where I'm from don't have! Upon walking in, it's a total vibe! Live band playing an array of different (genre) music. Not catering to only one group or culture of people. They definitely got it! And the drinks weren't bad either. The music was so good, it enticed us to stay and keep the drinks coming! It's definitely a place u must go to!”
“The place was clean, the person who took our order actually made eye contact when talking to us, and the back of the house crew appeared and sounded like cared about the customers and what they were doing!”
“As someone who has never tried the food from here, I was excited. I ordered my food and it was ready almost immediately. I was extremely pleased with the food they provided. Every employee I spoke to or asked something of while I was there was polite, prompt and accommodating. I will definitely be going back and would recommend any other first time takers to definitely check it out. It's the worth the trip!”
“One would be hard-pressed to find better enchiladas in New Orleans, we're looking forward to working our way through the menu. On this first visit, we loved the Chicken Mole Enchiladas and Enchiladas Suizas. These are refined homemade dishes, not something you would get in most places.Kid-friendliness: They do have hi chairs, this is a family-friendly place.”
“I love this location because the owners are extremely kind and they work through the lunch rush super fast!! No mistakes on my orders here ever and I'm a regular.”
“Chicken was hot but my fries was very cold and they trying to make me pay for sauce because I told cashier I ask for honey mustard sauce not Cane's sauce does one sauce go with the meal?”
“Ordered from Uber eats, didn't have high expectations but it was amazing!! The sushi rice was perfect! The rolls were fresco and delicious and they got or order completely correct!!”
“Raising Cane’s is my favourite chicken restaurant. The chicken fingers are cooked fresh and never frozen. The lemonade is really fresh and tasty and made in the unit from real fresh lemons. The staff is friendly and amazing. Food is prepared fresh when you order it and comes out fast. The special secret sauce pairs well with the fingers and fries. Cane’s specialises in chicken fingers and they do it right. Their tag line “One Love” is perfect and is present throughout your Cane’s experience. With many locations, you’re never far from a unit!!!! Stop in and git ya sum!!!! And bring ya mamma and dem!!!! I love me my Cane’s!!!”
“My local neighborhood Smoothie King. This location is easy to get to with plenty of parking. They have all the smoothies I know and love plus they are always staffed with two dependable workers taking orders and grinding out my smoothie orders within seconds of me ordering.”
“This is my favorite smoothie king the people are friendly and They make the best vegan mango kale smoothie out of them all. I have tried didn’t smoothie kings I’m none of them taste good to me and a medicine after taste I can’t explain it but no theirs is always good”

Fine Dining
“Uh oh new hot spot!!!This is seriously one of the best meals I've ever had. These guys know what's up, and the WINE, so good. Make your reservation now before it gets hard to get a table.”
“From the moment you step into Chemin à la Mer, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of refined elegance. The restaurant's stunning riverfront location provides breathtaking views of the Mississippi River, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. But the true star of Chemin à la Mer is its exquisite cuisine. The menu features a delightful array of French-inspired dishes, each prepared with meticulous attention to detail and bursting with flavor. My personal favorite was the quiche, which is undoubtedly the best I've ever tasted. The buttery crust, the velvety custard, and the perfectly cooked bacon harmonized in a symphony of textures and flavors that left me speechless. Our server, Mandy, was an absolute delight. Her warm smile, attentive service, and genuine enthusiasm for the restaurant's offerings made us feel welcomed and valued. She expertly guided us through the menu, providing insightful recommendations and ensuring that our every need was met with utmost care. The other breakfast items we sampled were equally impressive. The omelets were fluffy and flavorful, the pancakes were light and airy, and the fresh fruit was impeccably ripe and juicy. Each dish was a testament to the chef's culinary expertise and commitment to using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. To top off our exceptional dining experience, our daughter received the utmost attention from Mandy. With her engaging personality and genuine love for children, Mandy made our daughter feel special and entertained throughout our meal. Her kindness and attentiveness were a true reflection of the restaurant's commitment to providing exceptional service to all its guests. Thank you, Mandy, for making our experience a lovely & memorable one.”
“Best overall food experience ever! Every course was meticulously prepared and described perfectly so we could know exactly what we were tasting in every bite. the wine pairings were absolute perfection. Superb chefs, and the entire staff was friendly and professional. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“I’ve never reviewed my greatest restaurant ever but I will start now. In October my wife and I went to Emeril in New Orleans. Not an easy reservation but worth the time, effort and long trip from our home in Hawaii. Our experience was great. . We knew that there were plans to shut down Emeril for a total redesign from top to bottom. We waited for the exact date to try to get a reservation and luckily secured one. We had absolutely no idea what to expect. The experience we had proved that the “new Emeril “ is the best restaurant we’ve ever been to. I will not describe each dish since it would take up too many words but know that each dish was outstanding. Now I will explain why Emeril is #1 in the eyes of both my wife and myself. Online you will see that there are two Tasting Menus, no a La carte so we were at least prepared for what we were going to eat. We were not prepared for the following total mind bending and culinary experience. When entering Emeril you are greeted with a true Aloha greeting. We sat at the gorgeous bar since we were early and had a Vieux Care our new go to cocktail. The mixologist continued with the Aloha Spirit and made an exceptional Vieux. The bar area was awesome. In a very short time we were greeted by a hostess who escorted us to the brand new dining room. It totally blew our minds. Twenty or less tables with a huge space between them. You almost feel that you are the only guests there. The table we sat at had a large banquette that just added a new dimension to comfort. Large gorgeous pillows supported our backs. Almost directly in front of us was a huge glass enclosed kitchen. This was pure culinary theatre. Almost immediately a chef came to our table and asked us if we would like to see the inside of the kitchen. We didn’t bat an eye and followed him into the most gorgeous well thought out kitchen we’ve ever seen. The chef gave us a brief description of the kitchen, introduced us to the staff and the entire team offered up a special hello. We both felt like the greatest VIP’s. He then showed us to a small table next to us that had two champagne flutes with what he said was a rhubarb juice. Also on a plate was a cube of some unbelievable jellied concoction to showcase the ingredients. Back to our table and the party began. The two tasting menus were explained, one Classic and the other Seasonal. Then the Amuse Bouches started arriving. We expected only one or two. Nope, two sets, one group of cold, the the other warm. Each one was as great as the seven small main dishes. The beauty of the entire experience was that we both left feeling sated, never full. The service was impeccable. Never hovering but always there and totally knowledgeable about every dish and that includes ingredients. The sommelier was the antithesis of what many sommelier’s are. Being Wine Educators and Consultants we really appreciated his knowledge and communication skills as well as his passion towards wine. We had a dedicated service team who I would love to take with us to other great but not perfect restaurants. Jason Burse, the Assistant General Manager made the whole experience into a perfect culinary tour de force. This is why we both feel that Emeril is the Best Restaurant we’ve ever eaten at. Although expensive, it did not break the bank. Can’t wait to return next October.”
“Amazing food next to none! I was a walk-in and got a table by the bar and ordered two cold and two hot appetizers. All four were amazing and I’ve been to several Michelin star restaurants! The tuna crudo was light and refreshing. The venison tartare was interesting although slightly chewy. The escargot was prepared differently than in the shell and seemed sautéed. The gnocchi was the star of the show and was amazing! Even the amus-bouche was decadent. If you have a chance to visit - please do - you will not be disappointed”
“My wife and I attended supper at Mosquito Supper Club this evening and I can safely say that it was my favorite meal I've ever eaten. We sat at a communal table and had a wonderful conversation with the other diners. The food was tremendously good, presented beautifully, and we left stuffed after four courses. We had so much fun and couldn't believe how delicious everything we ate was. Without a doubt the next time we come back to New Orleans we will dine here again, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a real, honest, authentic meal served with thought and care.”
“I love great design. The aesthetic appeal of this hotel is JUST SO enjoyable. And the functional design of the chamber room is the best I’ve ever experienced. Add to that the hospitality of the staff… I can’t wait to enjoy another Virgin Hotels property. This hotel is a winning combination”
“Where to begin. Food. I would say the best filet in town! Sides were amazing and plenty to share. I am a French onion soup snob,(had it seven times in Paris), and it was divine! From the beginning, our party of five fell in love with Terrance and Thomas! And the gentleman with him, it was Double T double D! From napkin in the lap to folded if you left the table(it's the little things that are few and far between). They watched to see if refills were needed and were beyond attentive! The entree presentation was awesome! I cannot say enough good things! Fixing to enjoy a chocolate martini before leaving! It's a must if you are visiting Nola!”
“Such a fabulous restaurant with a phenomenal atmosphere. The staff is amazing! Sunday brunch out of this world! And lunch phenomenal as well. We definitely suggest going to miss River.”
“Yo Nashi provided a top 3 food experience for my girlfriend and I. The omakase style of menu (chefs choice) allowed us to branch out and enjoy a wide array of food we wouldn't have ordinarily tried. Each of the 7 courses were perfectly crafted and cooked. I will never forget my night here. The whole staff was friendly and attentive and ensured the entire meal and experience was flawless. I cannot recommend Yo Nashi enough and will do so to anyone who can listen.”
“This was a new adventure and it paid off. The game was on and the crowd was loving it. The feel is spot on. I recommend this place. Security also on site. No guns allowed.”
“Destiny was the sweetest host! I am quite indecisive and particular but she was so accommodating and kind. I invited friends that had come from out of town to show them a great time in the city Destiny went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and were taken care of. They all enjoyed the experience and can't wait to come back again!”
“Still a top choice. This was our opportunity to go to where Ruth's Chris started.Guilliano gave excellent service and is very knowledgeable about the menu and the wines.Food was excellent as usual. Filet and bone-in-filet were perfect. Crimini mushrooms were great accompaniment. Sauce from the mushrooms was an excellent topper for the steaks. Mashed potatoes were fine but didn't shine compared to rest of main courses. Flan was outstanding. The only negative was that it was quite chilly inside, but RC could not control that since the restaurant itself was just onside a larger hotel. So if you go and don't like being cold, bring a jacket or wrap to wear while eating.”
“I earlier, good experience. Our waitress Leslie was very good. Took good care of us. She made the experience wonderful. Food was good. Everything was so tasty and delicious. I ordered the ribeye which normally favorable cut if meat but wasn't any flavor. Once I out A-1 which I usually don't need in a great steak, it was wonderful. The sides were prepared just right? Well seasoned, and tasty. Cost was a great bargain. But for the food, you couldn't beat the cost.”
“One of the BEST places in the French Quarter for breakfast/brunch. Food is very good therefore they’re very busy. I recommend joining the waitlist prior to arrival.”
“Lisa was is the best server Anyone could have asked for this is my new favorite joint in New Orleans! OutStanding food, amazing music, and great atmosphere. You guys are the best!”

“I have been sending people to Bar Tonique for close to a year from my position as liquor vault manager at the Sazerac House. So many return to tell me what a great experience they had & to thank me for recommending it. I have left the position at Sazerac House & won't be sending any more from there, Good luck to all the craftsmen & women behind this truly wonderful place!”
“such a cute lil spot. only got one dish and it was very good (crudités) and wish i could go regularly to try more stuff because what i had was so promising! but the star of what i tried was the soft serve (chocolate with chili crisp), it was smooth and creamy and a nice level of chocolate. good vibes and folks. if i lived in new orleans would hit this spot up often!”
“The food and atmosphere is spot on!! However, needs to have REAL flatware to go with the REAL dishes instead of plastic knives, spoons and forks!! That would increase the quality of the dining experience!”
“Guy's is my favorite po'boy shop in the Garden District. Haven't been here in a few years, and although the layout has changed a bit, the shrimp po'boy is just the same. Wish I could be there more often.”
“Delicious! My crew loved the pizza and ranked it higher than this other famous place in the Bywater. The garlic knots were out of this world! And the pizza sauce was flavorful. Service was kind and the vibe was chill.”
“One of the BEST places in the French Quarter for breakfast/brunch. Food is very good therefore they’re very busy. I recommend joining the waitlist prior to arrival.”
“This place is nothing short of phenomenal. I'll explain. my 15 y.o. and I are constantly on the search for a good Pad kra pao (Holy Basil/Spicy Basil) that's actually SPICY . Don't sleep on this neighborhood spot. Even if, like me, you're from a different neighborhood (or even State/Country/Planet) this place is legit. Awesome, friendly service and atmosphere here. Can't wait to bring my son. Fair warning: Thai hot is just that... ...FINALLY! Can't go wrong with Thai'd Up!”
“Lisa was is the best server Anyone could have asked for this is my new favorite joint in New Orleans! OutStanding food, amazing music, and great atmosphere. You guys are the best!”
“Wow best snow ball I have ever had. Never would have thought of sweetened condensed milk in a snow ball would be so AMAZING. Fast as they can friendly service. Ok the building is 85 years old don't expect much yet loved this place.”
“First time in the city a good friend told me try this place out. Food trucks are usually hit or miss. This place was honestly some of the best food I have ever had. Get the Barbarcoa tacos and I promise you won’t be disappointed. I ate at the broadside location.”
“Nice local pub. We stumbled upon this place and I am so glad we did. Had an awesome burger paired with a nice ale. Friendly service and prices are good for the area. Definitely will return.”
“Cute little gelato shop! You can tell everything is made in-house! So many sorbet flavors, great for those gluten and dairy free people. Service was very friendly and quick.”
“Eaten here several times and I keep coming back because everything is delicious. Staff is friendly and happy to explain the cuisine to the unfamiliar. Price is right too.”
“vaughan's is always a great place to grab drink after work. this was an after work stop for bday drinks for a friend/co-worker. it's was an excellent night. lot's of great discussions about oddball topics?so yeah, we had a blast. bday drinks after work was an excellent plan, and vaughans was the perfect place for that to happen.”
“This place was so nice. I am here visiting and the staff were kind and the food is good! Definitely a great place to go and enjoy the company of others or just yourself.”
“We had a sublime experience here, it beautiful night, we sat outside smelling jasmine, great service, great food, great wine and cocktail recommendations, I highly recommend this place!”
“Came in for a frozen Irish iced coffee and loved the staff and atmosphere so much we ended up staying for a few extra rounds! One of my favorite spots in the French Quarter.”
“Had the butter chicken, garlic butter naan and a mango lassi. Everything was wonderful, great flavor and perfectly crisp and airy naan. Lassi was perfect consistency and very refreshing.”
“Best beignets ever! You also can't go wrong with their other delicious desserts. This was recommended by locals and now I see why. We are always bringing some home everytime. Light and flaky, not thick. The Rampart location has more selection, but you can grab your favorites in the French Market”
“We booked the Airbnb in the same building but we arrived earlier than our check in time. A lady who works here invited us in with our luggage and all while we waited for our room to be ready. She was truly just the friendliest person ever! We were here for a volleyball tournament at the convention center and she too had had daughters who played volleyball in the past and she was just so genuinely happy for us to be here for this. We ate here almost everyday and this place is just the cutest, super clean, friendliest staff place ever!!! I seriously can't recommend this cafe enough!!! My husband couldn't even get over how nice all the staff are in here. The crepes are delicious!!! As well as all the danish treats!!! The almond croissant was one of our favorites as well as the chicken Alfredo mushroom crepe!!! 5/5 stars easily!!!”
“Delicious! My crew loved the pizza and ranked it higher than this other famous place in the Bywater. The garlic knots were out of this world! And the pizza sauce was flavorful. Service was kind and the vibe was chill.”

“We had the most amazing dining experience we've had in awhile. Our server was attentive without hovering. We ordered the gulf fish (Drum) for my son and we did the Chef's choice. Everything came out with perfection. Our drinks were never empty and no courses overlapped. Needless to say we left full and blown away by the whole team at Plates.”
“We came for dinner as a family of four adults. We were seated outdoors which was really beautiful. Our waiter, Hunter was fantastic offering suggestions and great tips for first time visitors to NOLA. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Would recommend.Vegetarian of our party were vegetarian. Our waiter suggested a vegetable plate which was really nice! We also had the ravioli which were good but not great.”
“First of all: you need a reservation, even for lunch. The staff is very friendly. I had the first time alligator, and it was extremely good. The taste is a combination of chicken and fish. With coriander and chilly, pan fried. Thank you for that experience!PS: you can order a head of a pig. Smells and looks delicious!”
“I recently dined here for the first time and was surprised I had not heard of this place sooner. The food, atmosphere, and service were all great. The hi-lights of the meal include the gnocchi and the halibut special, although everything we had was delicious.”
“Another amazing culinary experience. We started by sharing 4 of their Appetizers so we each could have a bite. Entrees were filling. I had the Panned Rabbit with shrimp over a bed of pasta....Unbelievable that rabbit can taste so good. And then we finished with their Coconut Bread Pudding and Creme Brule.Always look forward to stopping here when in town.”

“This place should be hopping every day. The food was absolutely incredible and Misty, our server was great. We had a variety of dishes and the flavor of each of them was superb. It was definitely spicy, but we were warned it was, and the spice did not overpower the amazing flavors. This place is a definite repeat and worth going to, especially if you’re looking for something different than fried Southern. I hope this place has a long life. If I were a local, I’d make it a regular dining experience.”
“The food was great! The biscuits and freshly made wings were hard to resist! We finished all our food! & the great service by Layla was the southern hospitality we needed.”
“This place is amazing. The food is perfect. It's also a very cute and colorful atmosphere. Very close to the theaters! It deserves to be busier. I hope more people discover this gem!”
“Food, cocktails & service are all top notch. Recommend sitting at the chef’s counter if you get the chance…it’s a great way to watch the craftsmanship that goes into every dish. We will definitely go back next time we’re in town.”
“I'm not a vegan eater, nor do I write these reviews ever, but this place is GOOD!!! The Creole Omelette toast was great and the Tea Biscuit was one of the best pieces of bread I've ever eaten.”
“This is a slightly upscale restaurant, so it is recommended to wear a jacket. Be sure to try the turtle soup and bread pudding. When it comes to cocktails, order only what you know.”
“We stopped in for a drink and a couple of appetizers -- what a fantastic place! Five senior ladies and it was definitely one of our favorite places on our trip. The staff was super friendly and the cocktails are pretty awesome!”
“Had such a great brunch with family . Our waiter was phenomenal. Food was delicious . A dj was playing great music . Definitely a great place to have Sunday brunch”
“We had an amazing experience ! We got into NOLA later than expected and we’re starving. We had walked around and a lot of places were closing. Liz was outside treated us in the most friendly manner and we got a table right away. My 5 year old was already freaked out by bourbon street and was being stubborn. They made a grilled cheese especially for her and got her feeling better. The food was amazing and the service and hospitality were impeccable! I highly recommend pasta, gumbo, or the sandwiches. It is a bit pricey but your taste buds will thank you and Liz will tell you anything you need to know about visiting the city, and make you feel like family. Oh and did I mention homemade biscuits and to die for French bread?”
“This is my first time here and I was pretty impressed The food was so fresh and the meat was so tender. My only complaint is they don't do shrimp tacos but that's fine The queso dip makes up for it. There's no dining inside but the outside was the vibe. Simple menu not much to overthink. Oh and we order the margarita picture and split it between three people It was enough for seconds.”
“We stopped here for lunch without reservation around 1:30 on Sunday. We were seated right away in dining room. Band was playing and the atmosphere was very nice. People were wearing casual clothes. Service was goos and food was excellent!”
“It’s was a belated birthday dinner, and it was well worth the wait. Food was scrumptious, our waitress was full of personality. Kitchen was busy, but gave us time to breathe between courses. The white chocolate bread pudding was excellent and large enough for 3 of us to share. Thanks for such a delicious meal … until next time …”
“Cute little gelato shop! You can tell everything is made in-house! So many sorbet flavors, great for those gluten and dairy free people. Service was very friendly and quick.”
“This place is such a gem! The food is amazing and the staff should be serving royalty! They are so kind and attentive! They made great suggestions and anticipated all of our needs!”
“Eaten here several times and I keep coming back because everything is delicious. Staff is friendly and happy to explain the cuisine to the unfamiliar. Price is right too.”
“First time in the city a good friend told me try this place out. Food trucks are usually hit or miss. This place was honestly some of the best food I have ever had. Get the Barbarcoa tacos and I promise you won’t be disappointed. I ate at the broadside location.”
“8 years later and it's still.my fav BBQ place. Only thing I would change, would be one of the bartenders. Her drink could use some work. But we get the 3.meat platter, brisket, sausage and pulled pork. Man, absolutely awesome.”
“Didn't get to try much food but the flavored butters are insane. Its small cocktail list but man they do it well and they do their own spin on them as well I would love to come back here”
“Had the Avacado Toast and it was delicious along with the arugula salad. I added some left over smoked salmon to it when I got home and even better it was! Will be going back.”
“Everything was amazing!! The ambience, staff and food…oysters bed, curried gumbo, pork vindaloo, and crème brûlée were all spot on. Next time I visit my family will definitely come back to enjoy again.”
“Above all, you MUST order the seared scallops and artichoke appetizer. Fan-freaking-tactic! The Black Manhattan is excellent — except is was stirred long enough so it was nearly lukewarm when brought to the table. Great flavor, but disappointed at how warm it was. (An extra point for Luxardo cherries. Seriously. How can a restaurant claim they serve cocktails if they don’t use Luxardo cherries????)”
“We went yesterday and the wait was 2 hours. Got there a little earlier today and we got in. I’ve eaten at the Uptown location and was so happy they opened up another one that’s closer. It was my daughter’s first time and she said the food is so good and understands why there is a wait.”
“What’s left of my not crab cake and RA pasta…the BEST vegan and GF food I’ve ever had!!!! I thought for sure I would be sick…no way my allergy food could be this tasty and comparable to “real food” nope!!!! Not sick at all! I felt like I was eating “bad” food. Thank y’all so much because I can’t eat anything just anywhere! Will be back!!!!!”
“Don’t miss the margaritas or the jalapeño cole slaw. Great place for a GF vegetarian like me.Vegetarian options: The only hard part is choosing which delicious item to eat this time.”
“Ordered the seafood platter and a filet to share. Everything was great. We make a special side trip to eat here and were not disappointed. The only thing lacking was the bread which not great and New Orleans has good bread so it could have been better.Parking: Free valet, just pull up front.”
“We were recommended to Elizabeth’s by a friend and thankfully we went early in our visit to New Orleans, because we ate breakfast here every day of our trip! From the incredible food, one of the best spicy margaritas, and their welcoming, friendly, staff. Thank you for the great meals and memories!”
“The banhmi and pho here are delicious. Service is friendly and fast. The chia seed coconut drink it's refreshing and just what I needed from the heat outside. Prices are reasonable and quantity is good. Highly recommend this place for anyone who likes Vietnamese food.”
“We were looking for a non-touristy spot after seeing an amazing jazz performance at Preservation Hall. The bartender prior to the performance recommended a few places including The Grapevine. We sat at the bar and were greeting immediately and the bartender Michael was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They start out every meal with individually warmed baguettes and specialty whipped butter, that night it was cracked pepper and truffle. We shared a couple items off of the specials (an artichoke soup that was to die for and a roasted marrow bone topped with Creole style crawfish tails) and then the caprese which may seem simple but was done to perfection with a NOLA flair topped with seafood. The price point was also amazing for both food and alcohol. This was definitely our most favorite eatery experience while in NOLA.”
“This is a hidden gem. I love the oysters, St. John and the shrimp remoulade appetizers. The appetizers are always on point. I have not tried every entrée, but the ones I have had don’t compare to the appetizers. The shrimp and grits is pretty good.”
“Best breakfast I’ve ever had. Our family of four arrived on Sunday just before the rush. We ordered the Big Easy Breakfast, the Benedict/sub regular bacon instead of Canadian, and two orders of French Toast. All four plates were wiped clean which is an absolute first for us! Hash browns and Grits are to die for. We ordered a second order of Hash browns. Service was great.”
“Food was ok. We had the short ribs pasta & pork chop. The pasta needed more sauce and salt. Pork was ok also, needed more flavor. The staff were amazing. Wine was good too.”
“Loved the atmosphere and the food here, the dining room is beautiful. Favorites were the blue crab beignets, shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, gumbo and pecan ”
“The service was great. It had a nice bar and a peaceful feeling. We ordered pork belly, pork shoulder, octopus, beet salad, roti bread, spaghetti, and rice. The pork belly was by far the best dish. The pork melted in my mouth and tasted like heaven. The pork shoulder was great. The inside was cooked well and the sauce was okay. The only issue I had with the sauce was that it was too sweet. The octopus was also good because it had a nice and crispy outside and soft juicy inside. Definitely one of their top dishes. The best salad was refreshing and on point. The rice had a nice buttery garlic seasoning and the bread was nice and warm. The spaghetti was a little bit spicy but the flavors and taste were excellent. Deserts- chocolate Pana cotta with a strawberry jelly was brilliant. House made ice cream- blueberry rose, passion fruit, and banana fudge rum. The blueberry rose was my favorite as it had bold flavors and brilliant taste. The others are good but could be better. I definitely recommend going here and will come back!”
“Had an event here on Feb 27th for a group of about 70. The space was decorated wonderfully for Mardi Gras and the staff did everything they could to make the event a success. The food was great and there was plenty of it . We will be back ! Thank you Bamboulas!”
“On our first night in New Orleans we found this cute restaurant/bar place. We arrived quite late on a Saturday (nearly 10pm) but we were seated quickly even though the restaurant was very busy. The atmosphere is quite electric and very lively, and staff were attentive and friendly. We sat at the chef’s table so we could see the kitchen staff cooking which was also an added bonus. It’s also lgbtq friendly too and I loved that ? now the food, the buttermilk ceviche was on point, good tanginess and sweet and savoury. We didn’t enjoy the gumbo as it tasted a bit burnt. Tartar felt lacking a bit of seasoning but the concept of the dish was nice. The highlight of the dinner was the blackened fish and steak - they were both cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth. The potatoes side on the steak is buttery, crunchy and comforting and you want another five of them. This is a great local gem.P.S. we didn’t know there was a burlesque dancer on the night we went. We didn’t particularly feel comfortable so we left then so worth to check if any show is on.”
“The Toups’ Burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Our waiter was very knowledgeable in the dishes and kept our drinks full. I highly recommend this place. Next time I go I want to try the smoked duck!”
“Absolutely amazing. We came for our anniversary and while we didn’t share that with the staff they really made us feel so special. Incredible food and service.”
“Was in the garden district for a tour and wanted to grab a bite before. Found this place to have good reviews and it was not very busy on a Monday afternoon. We had the crab and sweet potato balls and pork tacos both amazing! Would recommend”
“Best Irish coffee in the city! It’s a small place with a very relax atmosphere. Their signature drink is a slushy type Irish coffee. Friendly servers, lively crowd, and cheap booze. I cannot recommend it enough.”
“This was one of the best breakfast places I ate at while I stayed in New Orleans. i cant say enoigh positive things about this restaurant. The food was out of this world and the staff and service was 100/100 stars. Thank you so much for an fantastic food experience ❤️ ---- Lisa and Abby from Ontario, Canada”
“Incredible food. Most dishes are appropriately small so it encourages sharing and a family-style approach. Pizzas are really something else and the pastas are to die for. Really great choices in wines, and although the price tags arent low, it is worth it.”
“The energy is so ZEN and fitting for the purpose it holds!!!!Vegetarian options: I love the natural juices that they haveThey help me through the winter monthsKid-friendliness: Very friendly vibe and energy for children”
“I don’t take my 11 month old out to eat often but they made it soo easy for us. They were quick in getting his food to us and even though I offered, they wouldn’t let us clean up after him. The buser even came over to interact with our kiddo. It was a really nice experience and made taking him out very enjoyable.”
“Very good!!! I had the Shrimp Remoulade Stuffed Avocado and it was so delicious!! My husband had a Shrimp PO Boy and wished he had gotten the same as I. We had dessert also, Chocolate Doberge cake and Bread Pudding which was SO delicious. Our waiter was a gem!”
“Fancy. Fresh oysters from as far as Washington to nearby. Pacific NW are generally the saltiest and my favorite. Priced at a pretty penny though. Great wines by the glass and friendly staff. No reservation, no snobbery. They'll get you in when they can.”
“Guy's is my favorite po'boy shop in the Garden District. Haven't been here in a few years, and although the layout has changed a bit, the shrimp po'boy is just the same. Wish I could be there more often.”

“BURGER KING ON CHEF.. IS ALL WAYS CLEAN.. THE CASHERS ARE NICE.. ALL WAYS SMILEING.. AND THEY ALL WAYS SAY THANK YOU.. I LOVE GOING THERE.. AND THEY TAKES COUPONS..”
“The shrimp fried rice was amazing. The sesame chicken sauce was just as good. But I wasn’t a fan of the meat itself. Weird taste. But that’s not my problem. My problem is them not taking debit/credit cards. It’s 2023 I hardly ever carry cash. I was hungry and had my mind set on this place so I had to go to an ATM. Adding extra time and wasting gas. But overall. Everything else was great. I really did enjoy the Rice.”
“I've been to collettes over a dozen times, and I've never had one bad experience. It's the only reason I go to nola now, it's an incredible experience and I recommend it to everyone in the lifestyle I meet.”
“Best sushi in the city. Now mind you, I grew up in San Francisco and have lived in Los Angeles for over 25 years. I KNOW good Pacific quality sushi. This town blows for sushi. Gulf seafood is amazing! Pacific seafood is laughable. If you, like me, know and lust after something better... this is your answer. Ordered online through their website, tip, payment. Done. Walked in like a boss, said my name and walked out. Perfect pickup experience. I had places to be. They respect that. First time eating here so I danced around on the menu. My lady is diabetic, so rice free rolls are our litmus test. Can't hide behind that rice shield, dawg. They have two rice free rolls. Now I'm a gentleman so I take less than half the rolls we split, just so I can woo her with, "Please! This one is all yours!" I look like a boss. That's a pro tip, guys. She always does that delicate flower move of, "I'm so stuffed! Take the rest!" You know how it goes. Not this time amigo! I had two of six and she's going after that fourth like it's Mardi Gras. The other was a rice paper thing with a cucumber hat and a touch of spice... had it's own special subtly sweet citrus dipping sauce. Insane! Talk about balance. Speaking of... tempura appetizer. Yeah, you already know what it looks and tastes like just by saying those words, right? Nope! A slice of lemon in the dipping sauce. Mind. F'ing. Blown. Seriously, why are you still reading this and not going there right now to eat their food!? I work ten minutes away. I'm seriously making this place a regular weekly lunch thing. If they aren't yelling my name, like Norm in Cheers, as I walk in for lunch, I'm taking that as a personal failure on my part. If you see me there shoveling rolls into my fat face, give me a fist bump and a knowing nod. You're welcome.”
“Four of us ate there Friday night, a combination of tapas and a seafood paella to share. The owner also waits the tables, so be prepared to relax. The paella was exquisite, one of the best I've ever had. We shared a bottle of the house white, an albarino. The food was all delicious! The owner is so gracious and aims to please. Excellent value for the money.”
“Best cafe ever. SUCH a local hidden gem in New Orleans. Got the praline crunch ice cream and had to come back the next day. Pecan tart is sooooo good as well! Nicest people ever and made my experience so wonderful❤️”
“Visiting from Colorado, by far the best burger I have EVER had. Blackened chicken with anything is also incredible! Bit pricey but amazing food and absolutely worth it!”
“The location and atmosphere was not very chic but baby the food was on point and the service was excellent. They were so patient, helpful, and friendly! The food was bomb! Thanks New Orleans for a great restaurant on my trip!”
“Where else can you get gas station pizza at 3 a.m. in the morning? It gets 4 stars just for that. But I will warn you, GET IT HOT. Don't eat their ready pizzas.”
“I visit Freddie's Chicken N' Waffles in July 2022 . My hotel was around the corner and I walked past and they were closing. The next morning I got up early. I had the fried strawberry pancake. This place is a hiding gem best breakfast in town. Never ever tasted great breakfast like this. I only eat breakfast at Freddie's Chicken N Waffles my entire stay. The wait time was slow and the waiter was busy but had a great attitude. Food is cooked at the time you ordered it and was worth the wait. My friend had the fried chicken and waffles and she said that it was good. My favorite is the strawberry fried pancake delicious!!! If I every return back to NO I would visit again. My own relatives who live in NO did not even know about this place!”

“This shop is an iconic shop of NOLA. It sells bakery items and beverages, nonetheless Beignets and Chicory Coffee are its main attractions. I had these food items inside the shop and in a conference at New Orleans as well. The shop was very crowded and I had to stand in a queue. The Beignets and Chicory Coffee of Cafe Du Monde are so popular that I had to stand in a queue while in conference center to have the food. Price is affordable.”
“First time in NOLA, had to hit up Cafe Du Monde for their beignets! It was packed around 5, but the wait was only like 20 mins (way better than I thought). Once we had a table, the service was lightning-fast, and our order was on the table in 10 minutes. Definitely a must-try!”
“Having heard this was the birthplace of the Rockefeller oysters, I had to eat here. The ambiance was relaxing and felt private. All the staff were friendly.I started out with the three types of oysters they offered, all of which were good in their own way. The original were bold, the charbroiled were more mild, and the Bienville were different with the peppers and pimento but still full of flavor. For a drink, I had the Rose French 75. While this was delicious, my only complaint is the value of the drink for the amount given. I would say that lacked the most in terms of price for the entire meal.I choose the redfish on the half shell as a main course. The flavors were full and rich while the food was cooked to perfection. Plenty of food in terms of size. This was a unique place to eat and would definitely visit again.”
“It's worth every penny. The food and service were great. I had the hussadre eggs benedict, which was absolutely delicious. The coconut lime soda is fantastic as well! My party also enjoyed the shrimp creole and spring sformato. Both said their meal was delicious, though the sformato was very light and left my friend wanting more. Luckily, the famous banana foster was filling enough to finish the job.”
“Our servers, Jesse and Latisha, were wonderful and made us feel very special. They were attentive and warm and welcoming. We had the shrimp Romoulade and the crab appetizers, ,which were excellent. My husbands shrimp creole was also very good. The side of fresh asparagus was perfect my cooked. Unfortunately the Pompano Pnochatrain was a disappointment. It was supposed to be grilled with abutter poached lump crab and a white wine reduction. It was very dry and tough with no sign of any sauce. The baked Alaska was not flamed table side and had minimal signs of having been flambéed in the kitchen. Overall an uneven experience but the evening was definitely saved by our two servers.”
“Martini barely cool and gumbo was not much to write home about. Pork chop was fabulous and so were the garlic carrots served alongside. Service was good.Wheelchair accessibility: Can't get in either of front doors so call ahead and staff will lead you in through the back door.”
“Great food and fun atmosphere. There was no music on Wednesday evening when we visited but certainly a place I would enjoy again. In door and outdoor seating makes this a good spot.”
“Antoine was a fantastic server ...polite, courteous, attentive, and extremely handsome. oh and the food was good too. I ordered the soup of the day which was the crab chowder - really decadent but not too rich. Dinner was a coffee rubbed filet cooked to perfection. I was dining alone but seated close to two different couples who did not know each other but struck up a conversation due to their proximity and I enjoyed their conversation as one couple was Swedish and the other was from AL but had Swedish roots. it was a really cool place to eat since I would call it fine dining but a comfortable feel. 10/10. Ask for Antoine.”
“Fantastic evening at an institution. Food was top tier from the French 75s through to the baked Alaska dessert. Crab cake / Shrimp Arnaud starters were solid whilst the mains (veal medallions in a mushrooom sauce / quail in a strawberry gaatrique) were exceptional. Service was top tier with a special shoutout to Travis who made our evening.”
“We sat at the bar - had an amazing meal with amazing service! Shrimp and grits was over the top good, as was the white fish. White bread pudding was delicious! Exceptional all around!”
“nice atmosphere with very good food and service. Jeremiah was by far the best server in the restaurant and made sure we had everything we needed when we wanted it.”
“We visited this restaurant this past Saturday! Table of 9…Kobe was the waiter! He was the best and friendly! Wait times were not bad to be seated or for food to arrive!”
“Meril, Meril how I love you This is one of our favorite spots to go for date night or just meeting some friends for dinner and delicious cocktails. Service is always top-notch. We usually have a main waiter and then someone assisting with the table. But don't take that as a stuffy, uppity place to be, it's very casual and nice to have servers taking care of the table all throughout the meals. Apps: we decided to make a meal out of appetizers, and we kind of went overboard. Definitely small plates but big enough to share with leftovers if you do it right. We decided to order appetizers and make that our meal. We chose the Bacon Braised Collard Greens from the daily specials. We also chose Smoked Fish Dip, Crispy Cod Sliders, Deviled Eggs, Korean Fried Chicken Wings and Pad Thai Cauliflower For cocktails we started with English Turn(grapefruit but not sour), Tchoup(cucumber deliciousness) and Albariño(smooth white wine). All so good! It was also our 11 year anniversary and they surprised us with some cotton candy and a sparkler! Perfection!”

“I was only in town for one night and went to Rosella on the advice of a friend. It was lovely! The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and I loved the overall vibe. I also had a chance to chat with the owners for a few minutes and could tell they really care about the neighborhood and their employees, as well as providing a quality product. I highly recommend supporting this locally-owned restaurant and the wonderful folks bringing their vision to Mid-City.Parking: There's a small private lot behind the restaurant.”

“My husband and I are Thai food lovers so we like to try new Thai restaurants in every part of the city — we went to go see the Monet exhibit and decided to stop by Good Catch Thai Urban Bistro. The food is top notch! We really enjoyed our meal including my jumbo lump crab curry entree and my husband’s Tom Yum Noodle soup entree. We also ordered several appetizers and all were very good with fresh ingredients. Will definitely be back!”
“The newest and coolest Country themed bar in the FQ. Plenty of planning & expense went into this brand new bar. Authentic! Staff is very welcoming, drinks are generously poured, spotlessly clean and the huge balcony overlooking Bienville St. offers a FQ/N.O. skyline view unlike any other you'll find. If you dig country bar vibes, this is the place.”
“Came here for breakfast & had a blueberry muffin & sausage egg cheese sandwich. Both were amazing. Came back for dinner and got the spaghetti bolognese. It’s the best pasta I had in a while. Definitely coming back.”
“This was a total hidden gem right above the bustling music halls of Frenchman street! The food was absolutely amazing. The charbroiled oysters, lamb lollipops, and octopus were perfection. With all the big name restaurants we visited in New Orleans, this was our favorite meal of the trip. Ambience was nice and quiet and the wines were awesome. You won't regret giving this place a try!”
“Jessica provided an excellent tour of their distillery, gave an awesome tasting experience in a great atmosphere and made this a stellar visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheers!”
“I appreciated the warm greeting and genuine smile. Professional attitude and knowledge of all questions we asked of her, of course she gave us great service, her name was Lashaun, S.”
“The Blue Bayou was such a treat! Franklin was our waiter and was the best! We had the Banana Foster, Blue Bayou Famous Chargrill Oysters, and Pecan Pie. Everything was super tasty and I will be back for sure! Thank you Franklin!!Also the live music was a whole vibe ✨ @tubadrip”
