“From our nine year old: Amazing service and great mocktails! We went during the make your own Gimbap and it was absolutely amazing!!”
“We sat at the bar and loved the atmosphere… service was superb (thank you Nick) and the food delicious”
“Incredible food, cutest little restaurant. Had such a good time. My husband and I ordered three antipasti dishes, two half orders of pasta, a side, and a special and that was great amount of food.
We tried the trout special and it was AMAZING! A real stand out.
The atmosphere is very nice, when i walk by at night it always looks so cozy in there like a movie. I will be back for sure :)”
“Probably the best pizza in Oregon. I’ve had pizza scholls and this place is just as good or better. It’s also more reliable as far as actually being open. I like pizza scholls but it’s a nightmare to try and plan any pizza or if it’s even open on that day. This a great reliable pizza place that is right up there or better. The parking is a bit terrible cause it closer to inner city and new seasons doesn’t allow outside parking. The full pizzas are smaller so two hungry can share an entire pizza or maybe one really hungry. I will be back I haven’t tried the folded pizza yet.”

“Every time we visit we go to Fishwife restaurant. We haven't had a bad dish. Highly recommend”
“Went with a group of 5 people before the theater and had a great experience. We shared plates and it was all delicious, from the grilled calamari to the spanakopita to the moussaka and baklava. The service was also amazing, everyone was friendly and informative. The atmosphere was both special and comfortable. Highly recommend!!!”
“Great & friendly neighborhood breakfast joint! Cozy bar atmosphere with wonderful staff. Delicious eggs benedict & tasty Bloody Marys. I’ll definitely be back.”
“Great service , amazing staff. Pizza the best in Portland”
“Coffee is AMAZING! You can tell how excited the barista was that we loved the coffee as well. Definitely coming back for the atmosphere and Dulce de Leche coffee”
“My son and I ate dinner here on Tuesday evening, 10-01-24. The male waiter was unimpressive, and asked the young lady behind the bar to take us. I was freshly out of surgery and needed to eat something. She quickly moved us to a padded booth when I asked. She was very prompt and very courteous. An absolute sweetheart. She was professional with our orders and accommodating to our particular requests, mine especially, given the circumstances. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the rosemary chicken and a bland salad with cucumbers. The salad tasted fresh. The chicken was perfect. I would give 5 stars, but some of the other patrons seemed judgmental, and I was displeased with the young man who seemed offended by the couple of rural folks in the big city.”
“5 stars - excellent dishes with such creativity and flavor. We opted for the shared tasting menu which we found to be a great value. Really appreciated the genuinely sincere service. We'll be back!”
Restaurants with Delivery
“Came in with some friends. They had patience of waiting for the long line but I did not. I just grabbed the pint of honey lavender flavor ice cream in their fridge then went straight to the cashier so I didnt have to wait in line. The ice cream was delicious and one of my favorite flavors, then 2nd would be blue cheese n pear flavor. The atmosphere was clean and the place smells like amazing vanilla scent because of the waffle cones they make there. One of my favorite ice cream places ❤️”

“Tap-Tap Cuisine is absolutely the best! The food is full of flavor, and you can really tell it’s made with love. Every dish tastes amazing, and the customer service is top-notch. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for delicious food with incredible service, you have to check out Tap-Tap Cuisine—you won’t be disappointed!

“Bar staff very friendly and approachable. Drinks are strong - which is good! Wings are so good - comparable to my faves like chemgio and hat yai (same amazing level of flavor and moistness). Would come back!”
“Had a wonderful dinner at Dolly Olive and highly recommend it. The service was amazing and the food incredible. Check it out. You will regret it if you don’t!”

“Had to have some pizza therapy after the presidential election results. This place was great. Beautiful spot and really good pizza. We had the mushroom truffle pizza, which was perfect. The crust was great! I forgot to get a picture of the whipped ricotta with honey and garlic. The server recommended it and it was a perfect add on. We’ll definitely return here!”
“This was our second time at De Noche. The food was fantastic like I remembered. We sat at the kitchen counter the last time and I liked that better than the alcove we were put in this time. It's a small place and it felt a bit cramped. I'd recommend the counter for a more rich experience. Food was great. Service was mostly great...Miguel in particular.”
“Great restaurant, we go everytime we are in Portland. Great food, great ambience and wonderful staff. Plus an outstanding butcher shop”

“Stopped by to try the queso burger I've been hearing about on the radio! A lady was cleaning but she came over to take my order within a couple minutes. She recommended the strawberry lemonade and it was definitely refreshing. The place was spotless, highly recommended.”
“I absolutely loved the customer service I received. I ordered online and got my sandwich made on time and efficiently. The manager there is a real gem and truly has a heart for their customers! It was early in the morning too, so to receive a smile and positivity in service was really a day maker!!”
“I make it a point to visit Canard Burnside on all of my trips to Portland! The unique flavors and presentations on their menu keep me coming back for more. Had the roasted beets last night for the first time and the flavor was out of this world.”
“Always fantastic atmosphere, service, and food. Expect a wait as great food attracts great crowds but worth it. My wife and I have visited many places around the greater Portland Metro and this has remained one of our top for years.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Houston native, visiting Portland for the second time. Last time we came, we passed by Awafi and didn’t get to try it! This time, we got to chat with Ali, who was very kind and shared that he runs the cart alone, and we finally got to try the kofta and chicken saj. Both were delicious and reflected Iraqi cuisine beautifully. We will be back!”
“Cozy neighborhood vibes. Had to remind myself it is a bar. Kinda loud, but then again it is a bar. Scored low on service because there is zero table service. You have to keep getting up to order at the bar. Good burger and fries. Trout chips and dip was different but tasty. Overall good experience.”
“Perfection in the mind's eye in every regard.
Flavor, freshness, execution of literally every single detail (even ones you don't think about until you're made to notice), and the fact it's all accessibly priced kinda made me cry when i tried food from here the other day.
For lack of a quicker comparison, this is like Elden Ring coming out after years of being told the best you can get is sysco-sourced AAA reboots of the same "deliverable" concepts.
I want to experience this place's food for the rest of my life.
I just woke up, but this was very much in my dreams last night after yesterday's dinner, so I was compelled to just get something out. I'll come back some other time to detail the experience.”
“This place nails it every time. Service is friendly and efficient. Cocktails are creative and delicious, as you’d expect from a Ninsom operation, his spots always have a great bar setup. Photo here of the prawn curry. Damn was that amazing! Also got the tom yum noodles which ruled.”
“This is my favorite place for a burrito and it’s not even close. The people who run it are friendly, the burrito is huge, and they don’t skimp on the meat. The ingredients are fresh and delicious and the salsas are hot and wonderful. If it were closer to my house I would be there all the time. But it’s good enough that I don’t mind driving 30 minutes from time to time. Brought my wife and kid here today and they both loved it. We also tried a Cabeza taco and it was the best I’ve ever had.
Just saw a one star review someone left a week ago and that person is out of their mind. They have no taste. Ignore them. This place is wonderful.”
“Unquestionably the best katsu curry I've ever had. I seriously had a Ratatouille moment eating this curry; making this their specialty was a brilliant move. The staff is friendly and the food arrives quickly (~5 minutes). The beef katsu curry with a Sapporo was exactly what I needed after a long hike.”
“Delicious & immaculately presented, robust drink menu and Tapas done right 😋”
“Their lamb Shawarma seasoned with, I believe, cardamom and other things, was the most astonishingly delicious meat I've ever eaten in my life. And it's in a very nice part of town!”
“This was some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. We sat at the bar and got to watch the chef make each piece, which he then described to us at each step through the tasting menu. We went early and it was a very quiet setting. We’ll definitely go back for another special occasion!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Wonderful coffee in a peaceful, simple ambiance. They are confident in the boldness of their roasting profiles and geographies, including beans sourced from various parts of Asia. I was treated with warmth and care - this was a very memorable experience and I will absolutely return each time I visit Portland.”
“This place is the Portland dream: an incredible farm-to-table dining experience in an unassuming, DIY-charming little storefront - which you can just walk into without a reservation, on most nights. Yes, the service can be a bit spacey and slow, if always well intentioned. But the food and wine are so incredibly lovely it’s worth a little patience. While you wait out The NY Times hype at L’orange, eat here! It hits a very similar, very high note!”
“Absolutely amazing tasty food! We had the tacos and instantly fell in love. I could cry with how good it was. The hosts and staff were so friendly and accommodating all around great atmosphere and learning their story made it all the more heart opening. Thank you so much 🫶🫶🫶🙏”

“The husband and I were on a ramen rampage, and the weather was our perfect excuse. Then, out of nowhere, we stumbled upon this restaurant. The service was spot-on, the food arrived in record time, and that ramen? Sheer perfection. The broth was a flavor bomb, the chashu was tender and divine, and those noodles? Freshly made and sublime. We left feeling like we just discovered ramen nirvana.”
“Tusk is great. Especially for a nice date night. The food is exquisite and the service is AMAZING.”
“We had one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in years at this restaurant. After a long day of walking, we arrived with our kids—ages 3 and 5—tired, cranky, and full of energy. From the moment we walked in, the service was nothing short of outstanding.
Every member of the staff—from the host to the bartender to our server—went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at ease. They were genuinely kind, patient, and completely unphased by our feral kids. It was clear they not only tolerate children, but understand them.
Without us even asking, the staff offered to bring the kids’ meals out first, provided toys to keep them entertained, and even cut the crusts off their sandwiches. The extra attention to detail made all the difference—our kids have never cleaned their plates so well.
The food was equally impressive. Both my wife and I had delicious meals—well-prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We left full, happy, and incredibly grateful. It’s rare to be able to finish meals with preschoolers in tow.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that welcomes families with genuine warmth and delivers excellent food and service, this place is a gem. We’ll absolutely be back.”
“I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and he was also incredibly impressed with me and my choice to try Urdaneta!”

“Astera truly is the stuff of dining dreams! While that might sound hyperbolic, one visit will reveal that it’s actually an understatement. You can expect a scintillating showcase that each season of Oregon’s bounty has to offer. Chef Aaron Adams’ commitment to detail with the entire mission is unmatched, from the expertly curated beverages right down to the locally made dinnerware on which the ever evolving menu is served. I am perpetually excited to see their latest creations. It is always an exquisite experience and an overall inspiration that makes me extra grateful to live in Portland.”
“Such a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We celebrated a birthday here and they ensured we felt celebrated and comfortable.
We tried the tasting menu with the wine pairing. 10/10. Can’t wait to come back and check out other dishes.”
“Everything. This is not just going to dinner. This is a dining experience. It’s a small reserved venue. Yes it’s spendy, but worth every penny. You’ll try food you never thought you try. The mostly seafood menu it so well prepared. Plus you can watch the prepared each course. A fun night.”
“Delicious and interesting (but not TOO impetuous to where they’re trying too hard), this restaurant has become one of my favorites in the city after almost 20 years of calling Portland home. The staff are passionate about food and wine and good service. They’ll be happy to make this a truly enjoyable experience. I have never felt rushed even a little bit. They understand dining and good wine and the love shows. I’ll be back (with lots of friends) again and again.”
“We were fortunate to be at Langbaan for their seafood tasting menu. Every single dish was balanced and flavorful beyond belief. The dishes were small, as you expect from a tasting menu, but we left stuffed-it’s more than enough food. The staff explained every dish and made recommendations on how to eat them, all of which were spot on. Additionally, the staff were true professionals, just attentive enough but never overbearing. It is absolutely a special splurge meal, but honestly worth every penny!”
“While staying at the Portland RItz we decided to wrap up our day at the Bellpine with drinks and snacks. We were able to be immediately seated without a wait, although I was surprised last call came so early in the night. Service was fast and congenial, and the whisky/snacks selection was nice overall. Prices were, as expected, ridiculous but really you're paying for the vibes and atmosphere. The views are incredible and the energy inside is upbeat and fun. Would come back again for drinks, but would probably eat elsewhere beforehand or afterwards.”
“Amazing food! We did the 7 course option and it turned out wonderful. The staff is sooo super friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Can’t wait to go back next time we’re in Portland. Also holds a special place in my heart since we got engaged there. :)”
“This is our second time dining at Janken, and this time we brought some of our good friends to enjoy a restaurant we've been raving about for months. The food was delicious and outside of the Wagyu steak, which was the most expensive item but also quite fatty, everything was outstanding! However, our service was very disappointing. Compared to our first dining experience, it was almost like a different restaurant. We had to ask for our waters to be refilled multiple times, our second round of drink orders took so long we almost cancelled it, and our waitress (though she started out good) somewhat disappeared until the end of the service. As I said, the food was outstanding and the ambience is dreamy, but when you pay that much for a meal, I expect the service to be excellent, especially because the tip is included in the price. We assured our friends, who's first experience with Jankens, was not as positive as ours, that hopefully this was an anomaly and our first dining experience was more commensurate with the way Janken actually is. We will certainly be back, but my hope in writing this review is that those reading it will see this as a learning experience and improve the quality of the service to match of the quality of the food.”
“I've come in there several times . Never really feeling comfortable because most of the employees are busy visiting with regulars and people they know They might offer you something to drink once in a while. Until ERICKA !!! She gives excellent customer service (this 5 star rating is for her) I was in there the other day and she was calling every single person by name. She us wonderful. You are very lucky to have her as an employee. I hope your paying her a decent wage because if not I would snatch her up in a heartbeat . She gives excellent customer service. I guarantee you that she is what brings alot of your business in. Thank you Erika for making me feel welcome!”
“Such a unique dining experience. Without the staff gently guiding us along we'd be lost. Fortunately, everyone truly seems to go out of their way to make your visit and your meal enjoyable. If the all-around staff being so great is due to the service fee, then I say, Bring It! Five of us all new to Kachka and all came away with full bellies and smiles and promises to come back for special occasions or when wanting to show off Portland to visiting friends or family. The food may not appeal at 1st glance, but we didn't have one bad bite all evening from our appetizers to our entree and desserts. Trust your server and throw caution to the wind! Drinks were also special and unique concoctions including a fun array of NA beverages.”

“This hands down is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland OR. It the same quality of other top spots in the US like Nobu , O-Ya , and Morimoto . The location is perfect located in the Pearl district. The chefs are high quality and the fish is extremely fresh. They have a great but simple flavor approach. The service is warm, helpful, and appreciative. I always ask for Joy as she is a true professional and loves providing an exceptional experience on every visit.”

“I love this place - There was a guy I hadn't seen before working tonight and he stopped midway through making my lamb curry to check and give me a spice/salt level test. The guy who I usually see did the same thing before I started regularly visiting and he got to know my levels - These guys care about making their customers into regulars and you can tell that they're proud of what they do. As expected with this level of personalized service and care, the food is out out of this world and is my go-to for a cold rainy day - Luckily we have lots of them! Get the lamb curry - The lamb chunks are spoon tender, the curry is spiced perfectly and the rice is fluffy and aromatic!”
“Real neat place with fun staff. I got the Beast and the Beauty sandwich, and it was huge! Absolutely delicious with a ton of meat and delicious toppings. My friend got a gluten free Rose City smashburger, and it was on a sliced sandwich bread that got toasted but no complaints from them. Definitely recommend.
Dietary restrictions: Seems like the only gluten free bread they have is sliced loaf bread.”
“We’ve been coming to Wu-Ron’s Ramen for a while now—probably over 20 visits—and it never disappoints. It’s a small, tucked-away spot that we only share with a handful of people because we love being able to stop in and enjoy a fresh, consistently amazing bowl of ramen without the crowd. The quality is always spot on, no matter the day. The waitress always remembers our order, which makes it feel like home, and the cook always greets us with a smile. That kind of warmth and consistency is rare, and it’s one of the many reasons we keep coming back. Wu-Ron’s is one of those hidden gems you want to keep to yourself, but honestly—it’s too good not to recommend!”
“Kate’s all vegan and gluten free ice cream is an inclusive dream for many people with dietary restrictions and a sweet tooth 😜 Everyone working there has been accommodating when I’ve asked about other food sensitivities, too, like oat. It’s ridiculously delicious and I recommend the ice cream sandwiches if you can have oats!”
“Another visit to Portland, another great vegan experience. Coming from a smaller town without a single vegan/vegetarian restaurant, it is such a pleasure to have not just vegan restaurant options but to be able to experience and enjoy vegan renditions of cuisines from around the world. My first time trying Venezuelan food was/will be a memorable one. My wife and I tried the Patacon de Carne Asada and the Arepa de Carne Asada. Both were very good, with the Patacon being both of our favorite. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to try vegan Venezuelan 🇻🇪!”
“The food is delicious, healthy, and will fill you up, but the real prize and appeal of this spot is the sweet family who own and run it. You’re greeted with a smile, and treated with warmth and patience and a genuine kindness. Easily the most welcomed I’ve felt eating out in a very long time. It really makes a difference. You won’t be disappointed.”
“This is the main bakery for all the locations, so the customer area is small and limited seating. However, the customer service and quality are top notch.
Pastry price is a bit high with one $8.50 and the other $7.50. However, you won't be disappointed. The raspberry rose cruffin and chocolate croissant were excellent. I was afraid the cruffin would be floral, but you couldn't taste the rose. I was surprised by the custard and raspberry inside the cruffin. Soft and flaky was you would expect a cruffin. The croissant was flaky and layers of chocolate. Not too sweet.
The coffee and matcha lattes were perfect. Not sweet and complemented the sweet pastries well.
Overall, it's a great place for pastries. Due to the price, this is more like a weekend or monthly treat and not a daily visit. The friendliness of the staff and high quality pastries outweighed the price and limited seating.”
“Sincerely impressed, I will recommend to anyone visiting”

“It’s been a long time since I’ve had such incredible Chinese food! Not only was the taste outstanding, but the satisfying, wholesome feeling afterward was equally memorable. You can tell this meal was made with a kind heart.”
“My sister went to grad school in Portland and went to Norah quite a few times while living in Portland. She raved about the food and said it was the best meal she ever had. We made a 1pm reservation on a Saturday and walked in to a very cute little place. Order yourself via QR code. We ordered the Rainy Rangoons and the Pad Thai Nachos. Rangoons were a little fishy for our liking but the Pad Thai Nachos were to die for for. For meals we all split the See Ew and the Spicy Holy Basil Eggplant. Everything was absolutely delicious and portions were very large. We had a good amount of food left over. Would definitely return next time I’m in Portland.”
“My son is an amateur forager, so we had to give Feral a try. I'm so glad we did, because it was a delicious and unique experience. In addition to their foraged ingredients, they are known for their cocktails. I ordered the blackberry seltzer, but was disappointed to learn they were sold out. So the bar tender asked me what I like and created a drink just for me. The food is served family style. For a party of four, we ordered a beet and strawberry salad, a farro grain salad, asparagus with a cream sauce, pesto pasta, and grilled lion's mane mushrooms with lettuce wraps. When almost every bite of food had been devoured, I realized that I had not taken any photos of the meal. Here are photos of our empty plates, the lettuce for wrapping , and one last bite of lion's mane! Highly recommend!”
“Just finished a wonderful dinner at Lilla. Abby the hostess/waitress/bartender was amazing and the food was delicious: eggplant tower, rigitoni with artichoke cream, grilled zucchini pizza and sweeter innocence mocktail were all fantastic. Highly recommend!”
“Dead shot was an amazing experience. The point of the pallet is to set the tone and let the masters decide your fate. You won't be disappointed, humbled and ready for my next visit.”
“Excellent food and service! A fun pre-Timbers match vibe and the place was hopping!”
“We stumbled upon Otto and Anita’s and were amazed at the great food, service and the extensive menu. We will absolutely go back to try other dishes. Apple strudel to go.”
“The food at Mestizo is fantastic. Great customer service, creative drinks, and as a bonus, everything is gluten and soy free.”
“I came for Drag Bingo & had such a fun time! Loved the deviled eggs!!! I will return for more Drag Bingo.
There was this candle burning in the bathroom that smelled so good! I would still like to find out where they got that candle.”
“We loved the atmosphere of this place! The food was also one of the best that I’ve had in a long time! Definitely recommend the Chinese Sashimi, Kuay Teow Kua Gai (if you like spicy, this is great!!), and the spicy chicken cashew (the chicken was so soft and tasty!!!). Not only Nikki, our server was very knowledgeable. Every person that came to our table to drop off a plate, would go over what it contained and their own suggestions on how to eat it. 100% worth it!”
“This place is one of a kind. The food was deliciously balanced and nuanced. Every dish we indulged in was so wonderful. It is a charming intimate spot and will be a go to whenever we visit Portland. The staff was also wonderful and so accommodating. Thank you again for the wonderful experience”
“Service is so phenomenal here and everyone is so kind. The food is always amazing and in large quantities too so I always end up with leftovers. My grandmother is Korean and all these meals remind me of her ♥️ so happy to have this place so close to me in St. John’s!”
“The owner is super nice and friendly. I love the decorations. Very warm and inviting. Feels like you are in HaNoi. Food is authentic. Good place to go to for special occasion or hang out with friends.”
“Probably my favorite sushi spot so far in Portland. Lovely service! I got the Poke Don and partner got the Salmon Special, both were delicious and big portions! Definitely more of a home style mom n’ pop rather than most of the “fancier” spots in the city.”
“Fantastic quality and great and friendly service. Highly recommended!”
“We came to celebrate our 15th anniversary and everything was amazing. My partner's gift for me was some crystal glass wear, 15 year gift is crystal, and they were very accommodating and made us a cocktail in them. The food was do delicious. We had the rock fish and polenta appetizer, a dozen oysters, an Ono dish with cauliflower and green beans, and cioppino. The service was great too.”
“You cannot say anything bad about please place, sorry. They are one of the best kept secrets in Portland.”
“I've been eating here since 2015 and ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. Top notch sushi with a wonderful staff. This is my 1st choice place for sushi in Portland Oregon”
“My wife and I come here for special occasions and last night we celebrated her birthday! As always, the service was excellent, food was impeccable, atmosphere was cozy, and a very enjoyable experience. It is a small place which only adds to the intimacy of service and atmosphere. The owner is a great guy who is very knowledgeable in all his dishes and wines which were incredible as well! We love C'est Si Bon and will continue to come here everytime we want to celebrate something at a special place!”
“Nicholas’ did a fabulous job providing food for an event I am at. Everything was wonderful!”
“Have loved the observatory for many years. The cheese platter and fry bread never disappoint!
Wonderful bar in the back to grab some cocktails and enjoy an evening out.”
“We had a phenomenal time for my birthday at Xiao Ye. The ambience felt like we were the only ones dining there. We had several dishes all which were good! Their mole ribs are delicious. Their madeline’s with jalapeño cream made us not want to leave. Their roasted cabbage was a whole entree but worth trying. Make sure you try their gelatos after. The melon once tastes like a better Melona bar.
Wheelchair accessibility: I called to adjust our table for my mother who is on a wheelchair.”
“Had a very special time with our group of five. Adam made the whole experience easy and fun!”
“Very nice and toasty heated outdoor seating, colorful and flavorful food, friendly staff.”
“Such a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We celebrated a birthday here and they ensured we felt celebrated and comfortable.
We tried the tasting menu with the wine pairing. 10/10. Can’t wait to come back and check out other dishes.”
“Craving something a little adventurous tonight, decided to see what the hype was about. Totally efficient ordering and pickup. Sooooo delicious - wish I had ordered MANY orders of the dumplings. Next time! Every bite a new taste sensation. This is why we ❤️ restaurants!”
“ah I finally figured out how to do a review. loved this place. Great entertainment with mystery and comedy. Good food, and great interactions with staff and other dinner goers. 5 starts for me and I will def be back.”
“Delicious and beautiful food!!! I miss being able to eat at your restaurant because the atmosphere was always so relaxing and unique. Thanks for the amazing food and experience!”
“Appetizers are good but our steaks were way overcooked and took 30 minutes to resolve issues”
“Impeccable food: a great place to try some true European food. One of the best meals I've had in years. The woman working there allowed me to order in German. I'm not fluent, but I'm practicing, and she (though she didn't know much German at all!) caught just enough to work through it with me and even respond in simple German phrases. She truly made my day. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an awesome meal at an amazing place!”
“If you’re a sushi lover like me, this place is a must-visit! I can’t get enough of it, haha. And let me tell you, their salmon is absolutely incredible. Every salmon I ordered was super fresh and flavorful. I even got 5pairs of nigiri to take home for my kids, and they devoured it in no time!”
“This is a great place where to relax and savor some great Italian pasta! The owner is welcoming and a great host, the whole server team is amazing and kind. You should try the focaccia, it's a rare find by itself!”
“The beers are really, really good. But do not sleep on the food, which is possibly the best brewery food in town. They really give a damn here. Great place to grab a pint and a meal before heading to a show at Rev Hall. Highly recommended.”
“First time eating Ethiopian food, trusted the waiter to choose our food and wine pairing and he hit it spot on! Everything was absolutely delicious. So fresh and spicy and flavorful. We will definitely be back often!”
“Absolutely fantastic. The cocktails are awesome. The rum flights have shown me so much about rum I didn’t know. The season peach blended daquiris are amazing. The food is good as well”
“Great atmosphere, last nights DJ’s playlist was amazing. Rizz Fizz and Mac salad were perfect. The patrons last night were all mingling and friendly. The vibe last night was there… Loved it here.”
“The garlic tonkatsu ramen is my favorite ramen in Portland hands down. Perfectly chewy noodles, thick, decadent broth with rich flavor and a perfect egg. This is the ramen I compare all ramens to!”
“Everything was fantastic, our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and provided exceptional service, the food was out of this world as it always is... They even accommodated all of our special requests.”
“My partner and I went for dinner previously and had the vegan potato gnocchi and tofu sausage. We loved it so much we came back for breakfast! I would suggest the curried tofu scramble and apple fritters. Everything is homemade, including the sauces.”
“Elegant setting for a romantic date or a family dinner. Highest quality ingredients, ethically sourced meats, handmade pasta, always a delightful experience.”
“I love this place. We have been several times. The cocktails are always excellent. The food rotates seasonally and has always been great as well. Service has been friendly and helpful”
“Went here last night for dinner and it’s hands down now our favorite dumpling restaurant ? the food was AMAZING, we definitely ordered with our stomachs. I will say the pork and cabbage wontons, as well as the crab and pork I think, were our least favorite. The crab one was a bit too fishy. Other than that everything was 10/10. The chili wontons, wonton soup, pork & chive, green beans, cucumber salad are sooo yummy. I’ll definitely go out of my way and drive over an hour to come back here again. The service was fast, and our waiter was super friendly and even helped us pack all our leftovers.”
“Wonderful neighborhood restaurant. It's absolutely beautiful inside and we can tell this restaurant is a real labor of love. The food is delicious and the cocktails are the best I've had in Portland (honestly!). Glad they have reservations now! We'll be back!”
“Loved the oysters and the cocktails were great. There was an issue with the order but they made it right, which is a marker (in my eyes) of a good establishment.”
“I love having date night here. The sushi and chicken katsu is delicious. Chef Marc and Polly are the kindest people.”
“A little tricky to order a beer. I use the QR to order, the clerk says that didn't receive, I share the receipt, the credit card statement...what adventure just to order a beer 😅.
It worth swinging by inside, order and grab the beer. Good atmosphere at the beer garden, by the way...”

“Food! Service! Atmosphere! And Feeling the immediate homey comfort by staff and customers, was just what two weary travelers needed. Met our niece there for breakfast and totally a joy of a cross country trip. Have been in many places across the U S A; and this one is one of major memorable treats. BTW my niece talked me into to trying your Fabulous (Homemade) Green Monster Sauce on my egg omelette and I havent stopped talking or looking for a duplicate since visiting Portland and I live in Ohio! If any one is reading this as a world traveler, believe me when I tell you If you live, or travel in this area, you gotta treat yourself to one of their fabulous stomach filing delicious entries. Really!. Bravo, I never write any kind of reviews in the possitive, I'm old, so I bitch alot. HAHA; But this place so worth the time, the price and contributing to a small family business. Which I totlally look for in any area I visit. I totally believe in supporting family owned local businesses...not the big Guys! Bravo Midpoint. If I lived in the area you'd know me by name as a regular! God Bless. And hope this will inspire the owner into marketing her Green Monster Sauce. One of the best out there. “My husband, a bread-baker, ordered flour from Tabor Bread and so we drove across town to pick it up. I had never been to their Belmont location. When we walked in at 2:15, a nice young lady told us they closed at 2:00. In spite of that, the staff then went overboard for us. They sold us his flour, then offered us something to eat and gave us coffee and hot cocoa. They were all kind, friendly and professional.”
“Shelby was lovely as well as wonderful in providing the best customer experience the entire evening to our group of out of towners as we have attended al the bars up and down the strip. Shelby is rare in your line of business and should be highly praised as an employee!”
“This restaurant has been our family's favorite sushi restaurant for about six years now. The sushi rice is delicious, and the yellowtail, tuna, and salmon (made by sushi chef Noriyukiーsan) are all very tasty, reasonably priced, and there are plenty of vegan options for our vegan friends. It's a fun place where even small children will enjoy eating the sushi delivered by train. And the manager Mike's attentive customer service puts us at ease. It's a bit far from where we live, but when someone in our family suggests going to Sushi Ichiban, everyone is smiling and full of happiness. It's a restaurant we'd like to visit again and again in the future.”
“I've. eaten all over Southeast Asia including street amrt I've eaten at many Southeast Asian restaurants, including in Cambodia, Malaysia and Laos, and can unequivocally say this is one of the best meals I've ever had. Starters to dessert, the food was unique, inspired and full of multiple flavors. Bravo and five stars!”
“I was introduced to Bridge City a couple months ago by a friend who raved about their menu variety, quality of food, and the service. Walking into the restaurant was much more appealing than I had imagined. Meaning that it's a good balance of sports bar and family restaurant. Natural light from the north, west, and east windows enhances the vibe; and the interior isn't plastered by sports memorabilia. I also appreciate that I didn't have to raise my voice to talk over the media volume. The staff are friendly, attentive, relaxed, and welcoming. Most of all, the menu offers a long variety of fabulous options. Something for everyone. The first visit, I was blown away by their Californian Grilled Chicken Sandwich. (My eyeballs rolled back in my head as I savored the in credible flavors.) The second visit, I had the Strawberry Chicken Salad: a generous portion that I happily polished in entirety...down to the last tiny piece of candied walnut. Their alcoholic beverage menu offers a long list of specially selected NW brews, craftt ciders, and more. The prices are very reasonable for the exceptional quality, creativity, and service that blows away other restaurants in the sports bar/family restaurant category in the area. I am looking forward to trying their brunch menu to celebrate my upcoming birthday. I'd love to see the property owner spruce up the exterior's landscaping and a bit of a facelift to attract attention and draw in more customers. So, get y'er buns in there and give Bridge City a try! You'll be very happy that you did.”
“Loved the variety. Great sushi selection. Free drinks. You don’t see that anymore. Your used dishes are quickly removed. When in Portland this is our choice. We tried the Chinese Super Buffet but the majority of the food was Luke warm. Give this a try. You won’t be disappointed.”
“I'm kicking myself for not discovering this hidden gem sooner! This breakfast and lunch spot delivers exceptional fresh food and genuinely warm, family-style service. The quality is truly outstanding, and the vibrant atmosphere makes any wait enjoyable. We loved cozying up to the window bar, watching the world go by while enjoying fresh coffee and browsing National Geographic and Mad Magazine. The food? It exceeded all expectations, both in presentation and flavor. And knowing the owner and his daughter are a hands-on team makes supporting them even more rewarding. A must-try!”

“I got airsickness post a long flight, so sick even water was hard for me for a while. This place's Phó Ga (chicken) is literally medicine for the soul, stomach and tastebuds. I cannot recommend them highly enough! p.s. uber eats does 50% off deals sometimes and you can get 2 "orders" (almost 4 meals worth) of phó delivered for under $40 including tip if youre on the vicinity and the quality is unparalleled to places I've been to in NY.”
“I am a programmer for a local city community center, and our group of seniors (13 people) had the most wonderful experience! The food, ambiance and amazing service that everyone received was top notch! What made it a truly memorable experience was the group getting to meet Cheryl herself, who was so accommodating and generous. Thank you Cheryl❤ , we will be back again and will be singing your praises with our friends and colleagues.”

“where to start, we are big good truck goers. A family of 5. makes it great when everyone can get what they want. This place is beautiful, they had a handful of trucks (more coming) but the options were definitely a mix. Something for everyone for sure. The Cuban food truck is a 10/10 highly recommend! The Cuban sandwich was the best sandwich ive had in a long time. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. My husband and kids had burgers, corn dogs, and chicken strips. The burgers were huge. super great flavor, (adding lamb burgers to the menu soon) super excited to come back to try those. Lets talk drinks, I like a good spicy cocktail, however most "full bars" offer Tabasco to spice up my drink. I hate that. I prefer a spicy tequila or a muddled jalepeno. This place has bitters. This was hands down the best spicy margarita (the house margarita with spicy bitters) that I have had since I've been out here. They have have a changing station in the bathroom. a pinball room, and a kids toys section. For families like us, little kids, picky eater, the FULL bar. This is by far the best food truck place we have went to.”
“It was delicious!!! Rabbit, foie gras, pigs feet, escargot, halibut, eel, scallops, all the fancy sauces….SOOO good!! Every bite was just perfectly executed. The staff was so friendly and engaging which made it really fun to sit at the chef’s counter!”
