“From our nine year old: Amazing service and great mocktails! We went during the make your own Gimbap and it was absolutely amazing!!”
“We sat at the bar and loved the atmosphere… service was superb (thank you Nick) and the food delicious”
“Incredible food, cutest little restaurant. Had such a good time. My husband and I ordered three antipasti dishes, two half orders of pasta, a side, and a special and that was great amount of food.
We tried the trout special and it was AMAZING! A real stand out.
The atmosphere is very nice, when i walk by at night it always looks so cozy in there like a movie. I will be back for sure :)”
“Probably the best pizza in Oregon. I’ve had pizza scholls and this place is just as good or better. It’s also more reliable as far as actually being open. I like pizza scholls but it’s a nightmare to try and plan any pizza or if it’s even open on that day. This a great reliable pizza place that is right up there or better. The parking is a bit terrible cause it closer to inner city and new seasons doesn’t allow outside parking. The full pizzas are smaller so two hungry can share an entire pizza or maybe one really hungry. I will be back I haven’t tried the folded pizza yet.”
“Good vibes, good staff. I'm sort of a lightweight, so I was pretty out of it when we left, but I wish I could tell the two servers that they were the best!! They consistently checked up on us even with the number of people in the room. It was so easy to order more if we wanted to. Thanks, teardrop staff! I probably would've drank more if I had dinner before I went 🥲🎄 Merry christmas
(Get the house of balloons if you're a lightweight, so good, almost like juice)”

“We ordered the fried chicken, summer salad, hummus with burnt beef tips and the corn ribs. Everything was unbelievably delicious. The summer salad in particular was refreshing and different. I can not recommend this place enough.”
“The best!! You won’t be disappointed. Staff are clearly experts and enjoy being there. So much fun energy too! Mind. Blown.”

“Best Chicken and Beef Shawarma in Oregon”
“I’m writing this review 3 years later because I am still thinking about this meal. Everything was fantastic. We got two specialties, a pizza and a pasta. Pasta was probably the best pasta dish I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over the world. Check this place out. It’s a do not miss.”
“Every time we visit we go to Fishwife restaurant. We haven't had a bad dish. Highly recommend”
“Went with a group of 5 people before the theater and had a great experience. We shared plates and it was all delicious, from the grilled calamari to the spanakopita to the moussaka and baklava. The service was also amazing, everyone was friendly and informative. The atmosphere was both special and comfortable. Highly recommend!!!”
“Really tasty brunch at a reasonable price. -1 star for the jalapeño poppers which weren't to my or my friend's taste but still, overall I think it was in the top three dive bar brunches I've had in Portland. Also points for the vegan breakfast scramble (can't recall the exact name on the menu); I was not expecting to have that option much less have it done well, but I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely will be going back.”
“Coffee is AMAZING! You can tell how excited the barista was that we loved the coffee as well. Definitely coming back for the atmosphere and Dulce de Leche coffee”
“Great service , amazing staff. Pizza the best in Portland”
“If I lived in Portland I'd come here regularly. The beer was amazing and Jason was awesome to talk to. It was really cool experiencing a nano brewery and trying some awesome beers made by someone who loves beer. The hazy IPA I had was amazing and I'm definitely going to miss it.”
“My son and I ate dinner here on Tuesday evening, 10-01-24. The male waiter was unimpressive, and asked the young lady behind the bar to take us. I was freshly out of surgery and needed to eat something. She quickly moved us to a padded booth when I asked. She was very prompt and very courteous. An absolute sweetheart. She was professional with our orders and accommodating to our particular requests, mine especially, given the circumstances. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the rosemary chicken and a bland salad with cucumbers. The salad tasted fresh. The chicken was perfect. I would give 5 stars, but some of the other patrons seemed judgmental, and I was displeased with the young man who seemed offended by the couple of rural folks in the big city.”
“The tasting menu once again blew us away! Visually gorgeous, thoughtful, local, seasonal, delicious, creative food, desserts and cocktails, taboot! Always a memorable meal that we'll talk about until our next visit to Lilia.”
“all I can think saying is it’s delicious every spoonful come out and have some …delicious I promise”

“Captain's berried treasure was the best ice cream I've ever had. It was absolutely to die for. The flavors and textures were absolutely incredible. I also loved that they had several clearly marked vegan options on the menu. The service was good, and the atmosphere was cute. One scoop was a ton of ice cream and the price was just right. I cannot recommend this ice cream enough! Absolutely delicious.”

“I made a reservation for my birthday prior to their "Top 50 Restaurants in the U.S.," courtesy of the NYT, and I'm glad I did - reservations fill up quick. The food was great, but what really blew me away was their ability to be flexible. My husband was coming home on an international flight and his flight delay put us missing our reservation by 30 minutes and I got into contact with them the second that I knew (sorry for the 6:00 am text ?). Granted, it could have been a coincidence that day (it was a Friday and maybe there weren't too many people clamoring for a spot), but they were able to work with me and allow us to come to our table for a 1.5 hour service instead of a 2. That alone would make me come back, the food really was a plus at that point ? there are also nonalcoholic drink options that I really appreciated as I no longer drink. But yes, come for the food and stay for the service! Excited to try more of their menu next time.”
“Amazing Dinner at Plumb @ Deadshot!
We had the pleasure of dining at Plumb inside of Deadshot one evening about a month ago with friends visiting from out of town, and it was a truly memorable experience. The highlight of the meal for me was the pork chop--perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. The appetizers were fresh and absolutely delicious, a great start to the meal. We ordered three and they were more than plenty for all five of us to get our food journey started. The selection of alcoholic beverages was awesome, and each drink complemented the dishes perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy yet inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed but special evening. Our waiter was attentive, answered all of our questions knowledgeably with enthusiasm and timely. We'll definitely be back!”
“Tap-Tap Cuisine is absolutely the best! The food is full of flavor, and you can really tell it’s made with love. Every dish tastes amazing, and the customer service is top-notch. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for delicious food with incredible service, you have to check out Tap-Tap Cuisine—you won’t be disappointed!

“Bar staff very friendly and approachable. Drinks are strong - which is good! Wings are so good - comparable to my faves like chemgio and hat yai (same amazing level of flavor and moistness). Would come back!”
“The food, the cocktails are great along with the staff. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.”

“Had to have some pizza therapy after the presidential election results. This place was great. Beautiful spot and really good pizza. We had the mushroom truffle pizza, which was perfect. The crust was great! I forgot to get a picture of the whipped ricotta with honey and garlic. The server recommended it and it was a perfect add on. We’ll definitely return here!”
“Walking in the door, we weren't sure if we came in the right door. A large curtain was right inside. I'm sure to keep out the weather, but no real direction once inside. For dinner it is tapas styled ordering. We had salad, gnocchi, prawns, a few more plates. Now, none of the food was bad, it just wasn't good. No balsamic for the bread. The gnocchi tasted more like slices of mozzarella in an alfredo sauce. The servers seemed as if we were putting them out when we ordered. The tables were so close together that we were uncomfortably involved with one tables politics and the others sexual escapades from the night before. Maybe try another time.”

“The rooms are always clean. There is a light smell of dog urine in the hallways due to the allowance of pets. If you are traveling with pets this is the best option in my opinion 5 stars. The scenery I’d great being located directly in the river. Some rooms offer views of the river from the balconies. The bar serves good quality drinks; I enjoy their pitchers. The restaurant has quality food if looking to stay at the hotel.”
“Typical drive thru experience during a rush. Drive thru was packed. Line was slow moving. Could have paid less for a brick of pure gold... but the food was hot and fresh. The order was entirely correct the first time. Staff was slightly overwhelmed, but polite nonetheless.”
“The guacamole bacon burger is really good, is one of the best on their menu, the sauce, the guacamole plus the bacon make this burger delicious, the service is really fast and you can always order online to get the best price. I love that this location has happy hour for side until midnight wich i can combine with burgers and makes my order way better”
“I absolutely loved the customer service I received. I ordered online and got my sandwich made on time and efficiently. The manager there is a real gem and truly has a heart for their customers! It was early in the morning too, so to receive a smile and positivity in service was really a day maker!!”
“High energy and volume. Great service. Family style small plates staggered out makes for a more enjoyable and slow paced meal.”
“Always fantastic atmosphere, service, and food. Expect a wait as great food attracts great crowds but worth it. My wife and I have visited many places around the greater Portland Metro and this has remained one of our top for years.”
“I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and he was also incredibly impressed with me and my choice to try Urdaneta!”
Takeout Restaurants
“Houston native, visiting Portland for the second time. Last time we came, we passed by Awafi and didn’t get to try it! This time, we got to chat with Ali, who was very kind and shared that he runs the cart alone, and we finally got to try the kofta and chicken saj. Both were delicious and reflected Iraqi cuisine beautifully. We will be back!”
“Perfection in the mind's eye in every regard.
Flavor, freshness, execution of literally every single detail (even ones you don't think about until you're made to notice), and the fact it's all accessibly priced kinda made me cry when i tried food from here the other day.
For lack of a quicker comparison, this is like Elden Ring coming out after years of being told the best you can get is sysco-sourced AAA reboots of the same "deliverable" concepts.
I want to experience this place's food for the rest of my life.
I just woke up, but this was very much in my dreams last night after yesterday's dinner, so I was compelled to just get something out. I'll come back some other time to detail the experience.”
“This is my favorite place for a burrito and it’s not even close. The people who run it are friendly, the burrito is huge, and they don’t skimp on the meat. The ingredients are fresh and delicious and the salsas are hot and wonderful. If it were closer to my house I would be there all the time. But it’s good enough that I don’t mind driving 30 minutes from time to time. Brought my wife and kid here today and they both loved it. We also tried a Cabeza taco and it was the best I’ve ever had.
Just saw a one star review someone left a week ago and that person is out of their mind. They have no taste. Ignore them. This place is wonderful.”
“The husband and I were on a ramen rampage, and the weather was our perfect excuse. Then, out of nowhere, we stumbled upon this restaurant. The service was spot-on, the food arrived in record time, and that ramen? Sheer perfection. The broth was a flavor bomb, the chashu was tender and divine, and those noodles? Freshly made and sublime. We left feeling like we just discovered ramen nirvana.”
“This was some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. We sat at the bar and got to watch the chef make each piece, which he then described to us at each step through the tasting menu. We went early and it was a very quiet setting. We’ll definitely go back for another special occasion!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Wonderful coffee in a peaceful, simple ambiance. They are confident in the boldness of their roasting profiles and geographies, including beans sourced from various parts of Asia. I was treated with warmth and care - this was a very memorable experience and I will absolutely return each time I visit Portland.”

“Absolutely amazing tasty food! We had the tacos and instantly fell in love. I could cry with how good it was. The hosts and staff were so friendly and accommodating all around great atmosphere and learning their story made it all the more heart opening. Thank you so much 🫶🫶🫶🙏”
“Astera truly is the stuff of dining dreams! While that might sound hyperbolic, one visit will reveal that it’s actually an understatement. You can expect a scintillating showcase that each season of Oregon’s bounty has to offer. Chef Aaron Adams’ commitment to detail with the entire mission is unmatched, from the expertly curated beverages right down to the locally made dinnerware on which the ever evolving menu is served. I am perpetually excited to see their latest creations. It is always an exquisite experience and an overall inspiration that makes me extra grateful to live in Portland.”
“My girlfriend and I saw online that this restaurant has a super wicked deal on Wednesdays and took advantage of it with haste. Y’all let me tell you we had a time eating their food mate. The attendants made sure we were familiar with the menu and made sure to answer any questions we had. They gave us a choice of where to sit. They even threw in some focaccia for the freeskie. Their cocktails were unique and delicious but you definitely need to find your preference. I love you guys stay safe.”
“This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Portland! From the moment you step in, you know you're in for a great experience. The service is consistently 10 stars every single time we visit. Our server is so kind, attentive, and consistent, always making us feel like we’re his favorite customers—he really adds something special to the experience.
The environment is just stunning—beautifully decorated, cozy, and inviting, with a vibe that makes you want to stay and soak it all in. As for the food, it’s absolutely delicious every time. You can tell that everything is made with care and quality ingredients.
I truly love everything about this place—great service, amazing food, and a beautiful atmosphere. If you’re in Portland, this is definitely a place you don’t want to miss!”
“Tusk is great. Especially for a nice date night. The food is exquisite and the service is AMAZING.”
Fine Dining
“Delicious and interesting (but not TOO impetuous to where they’re trying too hard), this restaurant has become one of my favorites in the city after almost 20 years of calling Portland home. The staff are passionate about food and wine and good service. They’ll be happy to make this a truly enjoyable experience. I have never felt rushed even a little bit. They understand dining and good wine and the love shows. I’ll be back (with lots of friends) again and again.”
“Everything. This is not just going to dinner. This is a dining experience. It’s a small reserved venue. Yes it’s spendy, but worth every penny. You’ll try food you never thought you try. The mostly seafood menu it so well prepared. Plus you can watch the prepared each course. A fun night.”
“We were fortunate to be at Langbaan for their seafood tasting menu. Every single dish was balanced and flavorful beyond belief. The dishes were small, as you expect from a tasting menu, but we left stuffed-it’s more than enough food. The staff explained every dish and made recommendations on how to eat them, all of which were spot on. Additionally, the staff were true professionals, just attentive enough but never overbearing. It is absolutely a special splurge meal, but honestly worth every penny!”
“While staying at the Portland RItz we decided to wrap up our day at the Bellpine with drinks and snacks. We were able to be immediately seated without a wait, although I was surprised last call came so early in the night. Service was fast and congenial, and the whisky/snacks selection was nice overall. Prices were, as expected, ridiculous but really you're paying for the vibes and atmosphere. The views are incredible and the energy inside is upbeat and fun. Would come back again for drinks, but would probably eat elsewhere beforehand or afterwards.”
“Amazing food! We did the 7 course option and it turned out wonderful. The staff is sooo super friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Can’t wait to go back next time we’re in Portland. Also holds a special place in my heart since we got engaged there. :)”
“Atmosphere off the rip, is something that must be noted! Incredible. If you've heard of Janken then you have seen the ambiance and the famous white cherry blossom in the middle. Food was fantastic. Service was phenomenal. I've seen and heard that the portion sizes were small, not my opinion at all. We were more than full leaving this place with leftovers to take home. We ordered an array of items off the menu and we were pleased with every single one. The A 5 wagyu was impressive and the bingsu for dessert would be the highlights for myself. I would certainly recommend this place and would most definitely be back to try other items on the menu.”
“I've come in there several times . Never really feeling comfortable because most of the employees are busy visiting with regulars and people they know They might offer you something to drink once in a while. Until ERICKA !!! She gives excellent customer service (this 5 star rating is for her) I was in there the other day and she was calling every single person by name. She us wonderful. You are very lucky to have her as an employee. I hope your paying her a decent wage because if not I would snatch her up in a heartbeat . She gives excellent customer service. I guarantee you that she is what brings alot of your business in. Thank you Erika for making me feel welcome!”
“Five star dining experience. Excellent flavors, beautifully presented Pleasant atmosphere Friendly service The Chicken Creamy Pepper was fantastic.”
“The food is simply amazing! They made vegetarian things for me that my husband the carnivore loved too. Absolutely impeccable sourcing and totally creative flavors while still being ‘Mexican Food' I can't wait to go back”
“Best meal we had in Portland. Truly wonderful ambiance with amazing food, no wonder it's so hyped up. We made a reservation, and I'm super glad we did, because it was totally packed.
The best by far were the meat dumplings, but everything was excellent. Even the pickled vegetables were lovely.
Will for sure be back!”

“I love this place - There was a guy I hadn't seen before working tonight and he stopped midway through making my lamb curry to check and give me a spice/salt level test. The guy who I usually see did the same thing before I started regularly visiting and he got to know my levels - These guys care about making their customers into regulars and you can tell that they're proud of what they do. As expected with this level of personalized service and care, the food is out out of this world and is my go-to for a cold rainy day - Luckily we have lots of them! Get the lamb curry - The lamb chunks are spoon tender, the curry is spiced perfectly and the rice is fluffy and aromatic!”
“Real neat place with fun staff. I got the Beast and the Beauty sandwich, and it was huge! Absolutely delicious with a ton of meat and delicious toppings. My friend got a gluten free Rose City smashburger, and it was on a sliced sandwich bread that got toasted but no complaints from them. Definitely recommend.
Dietary restrictions: Seems like the only gluten free bread they have is sliced loaf bread.”
“Another visit to Portland, another great vegan experience. Coming from a smaller town without a single vegan/vegetarian restaurant, it is such a pleasure to have not just vegan restaurant options but to be able to experience and enjoy vegan renditions of cuisines from around the world. My first time trying Venezuelan food was/will be a memorable one. My wife and I tried the Patacon de Carne Asada and the Arepa de Carne Asada. Both were very good, with the Patacon being both of our favorite. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to try vegan Venezuelan 🇻🇪!”
“Kate’s all vegan and gluten free ice cream is an inclusive dream for many people with dietary restrictions and a sweet tooth 😜 Everyone working there has been accommodating when I’ve asked about other food sensitivities, too, like oat. It’s ridiculously delicious and I recommend the ice cream sandwiches if you can have oats!”
“En Vida es muy delicioso. This cute little spot nestled away in a cozy corner of town is inconspicuous and tasty. I was blown away by everything I tried. Their empanadas were packed which is hard to find at times, the prices were reasonable, and the variety hits almost every Latin American country I enjoy eating in. 😂
Gluten free tip, almost completely GF except for the burger buns. They can be swapped out for tostones. It's a great alternative if you've never tried a tostone burger. Celiac friendly.
Cinco estrellas 💫💫💫💫💫
Dietary restrictions: Celiac friendly, except the burger buns.”
“My niece took me here this morning for the first time. Super approachable and friendly staff, great atmosphere, and shockingly fair coffee prices. Amazing coffee and overall my new favorite spot. I would drive put of my way and brave parking to go here often!”
“The outside was uninviting and a bit scary, but don’t let that deter you. The food was delicious authentic Ethiopian dishes. The service was prompt and friendly. The cost was modest. If you’re in the area and want a somewhat exotic meal this is a great option. We had the 2 meat 3 veggie combo and it was a generous meal for the two of us.”
“Wolfs Head delivers the ultimate comfort food experience! Their cheese curds are perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, and the malted shakes are rich, creamy, and come in classic flavors. The curly fries are seasoned just right and amazing. Great spot!”
“We walked in last minute, with very professional service. Spaghetti with English peas and roasted carrots fantastic! Recommended dish but I'm sure, everything is very tasty in this restaurant.”

“Excellent food and service! A fun pre-Timbers match vibe and the place was hopping!”
“This hands down is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland OR. It the same quality of other top spots in the US like Nobu , O-Ya , and Morimoto . The location is perfect located in the Pearl district. The chefs are high quality and the fish is extremely fresh. They have a great but simple flavor approach. The service is warm, helpful, and appreciative. I always ask for Joy as she is a true professional and loves providing an exceptional experience on every visit.”
“I initially wanted to visit this vegan diner with my buddy in Portland, didn’t realize that another branch was so much closer than where we actually were, we ended up having drinks at some bar instead.
I went there to have my last decent meal in Oregon.
I gotta say the gluten free version of pad Thai tasted so much better than regular one.
And the virgin colada contained my favorite pandan.
Thumbs up for the whole experience.”
“It’s been a long time since I’ve had such incredible Chinese food! Not only was the taste outstanding, but the satisfying, wholesome feeling afterward was equally memorable. You can tell this meal was made with a kind heart.”
“Sincerely impressed, I will recommend to anyone visiting”
“My son is an amateur forager, so we had to give Feral a try. I'm so glad we did, because it was a delicious and unique experience. In addition to their foraged ingredients, they are known for their cocktails. I ordered the blackberry seltzer, but was disappointed to learn they were sold out. So the bar tender asked me what I like and created a drink just for me. The food is served family style. For a party of four, we ordered a beet and strawberry salad, a farro grain salad, asparagus with a cream sauce, pesto pasta, and grilled lion's mane mushrooms with lettuce wraps. When almost every bite of food had been devoured, I realized that I had not taken any photos of the meal. Here are photos of our empty plates, the lettuce for wrapping , and one last bite of lion's mane! Highly recommend!”
“Dead shot was an amazing experience. The point of the pallet is to set the tone and let the masters decide your fate. You won't be disappointed, humbled and ready for my next visit.”
“So lovely to feel comforted and cared for through both great food and service. Def will be back. Great place for a celebration with low key, calm, and warm vibes.”
“Food was delicious, I recommend the rigatoni with artichokes and sundried tomatoes, the eggplant tower, and the breaded mushrooms. The Carbonara was decent, as was the focaccia.”
“Very nice and toasty heated outdoor seating, colorful and flavorful food, friendly staff.”
“We loved the atmosphere of this place! The food was also one of the best that I’ve had in a long time! Definitely recommend the Chinese Sashimi, Kuay Teow Kua Gai (if you like spicy, this is great!!), and the spicy chicken cashew (the chicken was so soft and tasty!!!). Not only Nikki, our server was very knowledgeable. Every person that came to our table to drop off a plate, would go over what it contained and their own suggestions on how to eat it. 100% worth it!”
“First time eating Ethiopian food, trusted the waiter to choose our food and wine pairing and he hit it spot on! Everything was absolutely delicious. So fresh and spicy and flavorful. We will definitely be back often!”
“I've been eating here since 2015 and ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. Top notch sushi with a wonderful staff. This is my 1st choice place for sushi in Portland Oregon”
“This place is one of a kind. The food was deliciously balanced and nuanced. Every dish we indulged in was so wonderful. It is a charming intimate spot and will be a go to whenever we visit Portland. The staff was also wonderful and so accommodating. Thank you again for the wonderful experience”
“The owner is super nice and friendly. I love the decorations. Very warm and inviting. Feels like you are in HaNoi. Food is authentic. Good place to go to for special occasion or hang out with friends.”
“Wow! Where do I begin. Everything I eat here is always delicious and you can tell the owners care so much, about the food, the dinning space, and their team. I love the wine list and the rotating pizza specials. Definitely a favorite spot of mine and I am so happy they are in the neighborhood.”
“I’m writing this review 3 years later because I am still thinking about this meal. Everything was fantastic. We got two specialties, a pizza and a pasta. Pasta was probably the best pasta dish I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over the world. Check this place out. It’s a do not miss.”
“This wasn't just a restaurant. It was an experience. My girlfriend and I love visiting Portland and looking for an amazing culinary experience. Cabezon did not disappoint. Their freshly sourced ingredients were apparent in the dishes. The unique and limited menus are printed daily based on the featured ingredients they get for the day or season. Great attention to detail with the presentation. There's nothing better than eating food that looks just as delicious as it tastes.
Can't wait to visit Cabezon again during our next trip to PDX. What a treasure!”
“Fantastic quality and great and friendly service. Highly recommended!”
“Wonderful experience. From Chicago and visiting my daughter in Portland. The food was exceptional; the sausages, wurst, rouladen and all!! My daughter has celiac and trust me when I tell you that you give up ZERO by eating gluten free at The Slide Inn. FYI, none of us had ever tasted onion rings quite so good. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful little restaurant.”
“My wife and I come here for special occasions and last night we celebrated her birthday! As always, the service was excellent, food was impeccable, atmosphere was cozy, and a very enjoyable experience. It is a small place which only adds to the intimacy of service and atmosphere. The owner is a great guy who is very knowledgeable in all his dishes and wines which were incredible as well! We love C'est Si Bon and will continue to come here everytime we want to celebrate something at a special place!”
“Some of the best sushi in Portland for decades, going back to when it was Sushi Takahashi 2 (at a different location). Highly recommended. Great options for vegetarian sushi as well!
Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options available, and when they're not too busy, the chef makes fantastic custom rolls as well.”
“You cannot say anything bad about please place, sorry. They are one of the best kept secrets in Portland.”
“Nicholas’ did a fabulous job providing food for an event I am at. Everything was wonderful!”
“Had a very special time with our group of five. Adam made the whole experience easy and fun!”
“Have loved the observatory for many years. The cheese platter and fry bread never disappoint!
Wonderful bar in the back to grab some cocktails and enjoy an evening out.”
“Went here as a early Mother’s Day treat with my daughter. Had the sample plate…. So delicious and we learned we liked it all! Also got a sundae….. totally recommend. For take home I got the cookies. This place is a gem! Stop by and check it out for sure if you are ever in the area.”
“We had a phenomenal time for my birthday at Xiao Ye. The ambience felt like we were the only ones dining there. We had several dishes all which were good! Their mole ribs are delicious. Their madeline’s with jalapeño cream made us not want to leave. Their roasted cabbage was a whole entree but worth trying. Make sure you try their gelatos after. The melon once tastes like a better Melona bar.
Wheelchair accessibility: I called to adjust our table for my mother who is on a wheelchair.”
“Whenever I travel, I always look for the top rated Korean restaurants that aren’t all-you-can-eat bbq. We enjoyed Han Oak so much that we decided to try the sister restaurant, Jeju, and loved it equally. The set menu has similar side dishes and exquisite house-made ssamjang, plus delicious meats, veggies, and lettuce for making ssambap. We ate until we could eat no more and then we ate some more! It was an unforgettable meal.”
“Craving something a little adventurous tonight, decided to see what the hype was about. Totally efficient ordering and pickup. Sooooo delicious - wish I had ordered MANY orders of the dumplings. Next time! Every bite a new taste sensation. This is why we ❤️ restaurants!”
“Delicious and beautiful food!!! I miss being able to eat at your restaurant because the atmosphere was always so relaxing and unique. Thanks for the amazing food and experience!”
“ah I finally figured out how to do a review. loved this place. Great entertainment with mystery and comedy. Good food, and great interactions with staff and other dinner goers. 5 starts for me and I will def be back.”
“We dined here on Sunday night August 18. It was a beautiful summer evening. We ate on the patio. The place had a nice romantic vibe. Lots of couples having a nice time. Our server, Emma, was very nice. We started with the the bruschetta and insalata Verdura. The bruschetta was pretty good but the salad was so bland. My mother makes better salad dressing than that. My husband had the prawns Verdura. It was very good. I had eggplant Parmesan. The eggplant was delicious, but there was no sauce on the linguini. I thought that was strange so I asked for sauce. I waited 5 minutes or so and Emma came by to ask if I had received the sauce. I said no. She went over to the kitchen, asked for sauce and had to stand there and wsit for a good 2 minutes for someone to hand her sauce. They weren't very busy. We thought this was peculiar. I don't know if they were short handed or what. Their sauce was good by the way. Not sure if we'll go back. We just felt sorry for Emma, so we tipped her well.”
“Appetizers are good but our steaks were way overcooked and took 30 minutes to resolve issues”
“If you’re a sushi lover like me, this place is a must-visit! I can’t get enough of it, haha. And let me tell you, their salmon is absolutely incredible. Every salmon I ordered was super fresh and flavorful. I even got 5pairs of nigiri to take home for my kids, and they devoured it in no time!”
“Impeccable food: a great place to try some true European food. One of the best meals I've had in years. The woman working there allowed me to order in German. I'm not fluent, but I'm practicing, and she (though she didn't know much German at all!) caught just enough to work through it with me and even respond in simple German phrases. She truly made my day. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an awesome meal at an amazing place!”
“The beers are really, really good. But do not sleep on the food, which is possibly the best brewery food in town. They really give a damn here. Great place to grab a pint and a meal before heading to a show at Rev Hall. Highly recommended.”
“A tasty and unique departure from the standard breakfast/brunch fare offered elsewhere. Very nice flavors and generous portions. Excellent service. Being GF a big plus. Good coffee. Overall, a very nice experience and will definitely be returning.”
“Elegant setting for a romantic date or a family dinner. Highest quality ingredients, ethically sourced meats, handmade pasta, always a delightful experience.”
“Great atmosphere, last nights DJ’s playlist was amazing. Rizz Fizz and Mac salad were perfect. The patrons last night were all mingling and friendly. The vibe last night was there… Loved it here.”
“The garlic tonkatsu ramen is my favorite ramen in Portland hands down. Perfectly chewy noodles, thick, decadent broth with rich flavor and a perfect egg. This is the ramen I compare all ramens to!”
“Sirina, Thank you for the birthday gift certificate yesterday. All the food was delicious!!!!”
“I love this place. We have been several times. The cocktails are always excellent. The food rotates seasonally and has always been great as well. Service has been friendly and helpful”
“Excellent food, comfortable atmosphere. We really enjoyed our dinner and the flavors were marvelous!”
“Went here last night for dinner and it’s hands down now our favorite dumpling restaurant ? the food was AMAZING, we definitely ordered with our stomachs. I will say the pork and cabbage wontons, as well as the crab and pork I think, were our least favorite. The crab one was a bit too fishy. Other than that everything was 10/10. The chili wontons, wonton soup, pork & chive, green beans, cucumber salad are sooo yummy. I’ll definitely go out of my way and drive over an hour to come back here again. The service was fast, and our waiter was super friendly and even helped us pack all our leftovers.”
“Loved the oysters and the cocktails were great. There was an issue with the order but they made it right, which is a marker (in my eyes) of a good establishment.”
“These are the best dumplings that I have had yet in Portland! I was nervous about parking and found a spot immediately. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our server made great recommendations for cocktails as well as gluten-free options. The food is beyond flavorful and delicious! I cannot wait to go back. Thank you for making my birthday dinner delicious!
Dietary restrictions: There were about 10 to 15 options on the menu for people that had a gluten sensitivity. My friend with the gluten sensitivity and was very happy they were many options to choose from.”

“My husband, a bread-baker, ordered flour from Tabor Bread and so we drove across town to pick it up. I had never been to their Belmont location. When we walked in at 2:15, a nice young lady told us they closed at 2:00. In spite of that, the staff then went overboard for us. They sold us his flour, then offered us something to eat and gave us coffee and hot cocoa. They were all kind, friendly and professional.”
“Shelby was lovely as well as wonderful in providing the best customer experience the entire evening to our group of out of towners as we have attended al the bars up and down the strip. Shelby is rare in your line of business and should be highly praised as an employee!”
“This restaurant has been our family's favorite sushi restaurant for about six years now. The sushi rice is delicious, and the yellowtail, tuna, and salmon (made by sushi chef Noriyukiーsan) are all very tasty, reasonably priced, and there are plenty of vegan options for our vegan friends. It's a fun place where even small children will enjoy eating the sushi delivered by train. And the manager Mike's attentive customer service puts us at ease. It's a bit far from where we live, but when someone in our family suggests going to Sushi Ichiban, everyone is smiling and full of happiness. It's a restaurant we'd like to visit again and again in the future.”
“Loved the variety. Great sushi selection. Free drinks. You don’t see that anymore. Your used dishes are quickly removed. When in Portland this is our choice. We tried the Chinese Super Buffet but the majority of the food was Luke warm. Give this a try. You won’t be disappointed.”
“So I get so tired of going to places where I have to yell to be heard across the table. Both the Grand Amari and the Little Bitter Bar allowed for actual conversation. On top of it, had great service and the food was amazing. Wine selection was great - had a delicious Barbera. Tried the gnocchi and my socks were blown off. Sole was so delicious! All 4 of us in our party will be back!”
“I'm kicking myself for not discovering this hidden gem sooner! This breakfast and lunch spot delivers exceptional fresh food and genuinely warm, family-style service. The quality is truly outstanding, and the vibrant atmosphere makes any wait enjoyable. We loved cozying up to the window bar, watching the world go by while enjoying fresh coffee and browsing National Geographic and Mad Magazine. The food? It exceeded all expectations, both in presentation and flavor. And knowing the owner and his daughter are a hands-on team makes supporting them even more rewarding. A must-try!”

“Great atmosphere, with good music and artwork. It’s a small business that shows pride in what they offer. The food is amazing! A co worker and I were in the area today for a training that was based on east coast time (trainer was remote).:Much to our dismay, the lunch break was at 10am, but then we discovered this gem! I had the uptown shrimp ‘n grits, and my friend had biscuits and gravy. Amazing flavors and generous portions.”

“where to start, we are big good truck goers. A family of 5. makes it great when everyone can get what they want. This place is beautiful, they had a handful of trucks (more coming) but the options were definitely a mix. Something for everyone for sure. The Cuban food truck is a 10/10 highly recommend! The Cuban sandwich was the best sandwich ive had in a long time. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. My husband and kids had burgers, corn dogs, and chicken strips. The burgers were huge. super great flavor, (adding lamb burgers to the menu soon) super excited to come back to try those. Lets talk drinks, I like a good spicy cocktail, however most "full bars" offer Tabasco to spice up my drink. I hate that. I prefer a spicy tequila or a muddled jalepeno. This place has bitters. This was hands down the best spicy margarita (the house margarita with spicy bitters) that I have had since I've been out here. They have have a changing station in the bathroom. a pinball room, and a kids toys section. For families like us, little kids, picky eater, the FULL bar. This is by far the best food truck place we have went to.”
“I tried this place today for a quick lunch and was back at my desk in the neighborhood within 10 minutes of ordering. I had the quesa tacos with al pastor and a side of rice and beans. Everything was delicious! The meat was super moist and the ratio of everything was perfect. I didn't take a photo because I was too excited to eat, and my coworkers commented on how good my lunch smelled. I tried the green and red (mild) salsas and experienced a lot of flavor without a lot of spice, which I appreciate. My husband is a vegetarian and I'm excited to bring him so he can try the veggie fajita burrito. The prices were reasonable and the staff was very nice.”
“It was delicious!!! Rabbit, foie gras, pigs feet, escargot, halibut, eel, scallops, all the fancy sauces….SOOO good!! Every bite was just perfectly executed. The staff was so friendly and engaging which made it really fun to sit at the chef’s counter!”
