We have been to Prasad Restaurant many times and have always enjoyed the healthy meals and lay back vibe. Our most recent trip there was very disappointing. We got the usual bowl that we like called Tabor Bowl and the amount of veggies inside the bowl were half of the usual amount. This is the second time we noticed this but it was more pronounced this time. Previously, I had trouble finishing the bowl because it was so full of veggies. Not this time. I felt hungry after eating these small portions. It felt more like I was eating an appetizer instead of a meal. The prices remain the same, however. I guess others may have also noted the change since lunchtime was nearly empty of patrons.
Great customer service here. The cashier smiled blissfully as she took everyone's order. The juices are good and are at a fair price. The waffle the show stopper! My wife and friend had one and after I tried it, it was a must have. I love this place
The food here is actaully pretty good even if you are not strictly a vegan. The staff was nice too. The downside is that the restaurant and eating area are directly attached to a yoga studio. So while you eat, you get to see(and smell) the people who are just getting out of their sweaty yoga session. If the resturant had better seating and was not literally inside a yoga studio, it would be rated higher. I don't know about you, but eating in a gym is not my thing.
Great food, inconsistent takeout. I love the tahini sauce and healthy options for all diets, but when I order takeout, they give me half the regular portion given in the restaurant for the same price. There is enough room in the takeout boxes to fill it with the portions given in the restaurant. It feels like I'm being ripped off for wanting takeout once in awhile. I love the smoothies and bowls, so I recommend eating in house if you can find a seat so you can get your money's worth. Also, they don't give a choice of bean, so just take whatever they have for the day. Sometimes, if you're lucky, you'll get your favorite kind of bean.
It was so so. I like the very friendly, wonderful staff. Good tea option. Kinda spendy for what it is. There was a peice of hair in food. For the price they need to do better on bigger avocado with no brown spots. I see a lot of potential here!! Just need a little work on some things.

This was a great find. We just spent a week in Portland trying out lots of restaurants and food trucks and this was our favourite. Everything we had was great and reasonably priced. We also really enjoyed sitting out on the patio on a nice evening and taking in the atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Get the Kati roll. You will not regret it. Indoor and outdoor spaces are both good. The outdoor space is right on Division, so can be a little noisy.
This is a fun place with a great atmosphere. We enjoyed our dinner, although it wasn't super authentic Indian. Needs more spice!
Really good ambiance. The food was really tasty with the right level of spices and well cooked veggies. Only downside is that the wait times are very long for to-gos.
It's a great place. Wide open space for seating, and if the weather is nice, you can sit outside. Such good food.

So sorry 😐 I have to give this review. My daughter is lactose intolerant and they told us that they could accommodate this. We ordered all vegan food. Within 10 minutes she was very ill and we had to leave. She was sick for two days! Restaurants must take this serious because sometimes she ends up in the hospital. I was totally disappointed because if you are not a vegan the food is delicious. If you need accommodations I would say no.
Friendly, but rushed service. The all vegetarian dishes were flavorful and filling. I was happy to see so many vegan options on the menu. Not sure how long they've been in Portland, but it felt like things were still getting dialed in (as evidenced by the rather long introduction cards included on every table and the menu's preamble, as well as a few items on the drink menu needing updating). Everything felt just a hair overpriced (+$3) for what we got. Definitely worth a try, especially for vegans.
We have been here a few times...it is THE BEST TIKKA MASALA IN PORTLAND. They're still working out kinks, but the beautiful goddess baby that graces the dining room more than distracts you from any waiting. Go to Maruti ASAP!
Had an excellent dinner experience here when visiting Portland. I went with my partner and his friend, a non-vegetarian chef. Everyone loved their food. Dishes are authentic, but presented in a modern way with very fresh ingredients. I was very thankful for the vegan mango lassi - a rare treat in a restaurant! I think I would be here every week if I lived nearby.
Most mouthwatering and savory food I've ever tasted. The staff and owners provide top notch service in a beautiful setting. I've eaten at the top Vegan restaurants in NYC, Minneapolis, Austin TX, and this is the best vegan dining experience I've ever had. I left full and more than satisfied. (The meal options were not lacking in protein)

Quaint location, tasty food, nice laid back ambience and the best part - we didn't have to wait in an insanely long line to get a table!! We stumbled on this gem quite accidentally on a visit to Portland. We set out to eat at bollywood theater but the line was super long to even get into the door of the place. So, we looked up alternate options for Indian cuisine and found Sudra on google - Thank you google! We decided to give the place a try and were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful tasty meal. We'll definitely be back!
Sudra was incredible! Not only was the staff extremely helpful (he suggested everything on the menu), but the food was equally as amazing! You seriously CAN'T go wrong with ANYTHING on their menu. The Husband and I needed a place to grab a bite to eat (Vegetarian) and this was the top rated place on Google, for a reason! Absolutely fantastic! My Husband and I will DEFINITELY be coming back to this place again. Thank you Sudra for being so amazing!
I didn't realize it was legal to put crack in food, but this food is absolutely insanely good. Wife and I were out drinking at Kells and needed an awesome vegetarian dinner and Google suggested Sudra. I've never had Google make such an amazing decision! Absolutely must try!
Been here for about 1 ht waiting for food. After 40 mi. I asked the guy to make it to go and how much longer it will take. He said a few more minutes. Still waiting... I even tipped them in the optional screen, should ask for it back. Still waiting...
If you like spicy food you will like it. If you have a mild mouth don't order the lentil soup and get the sauces they use on the other dishes on the side. My dish was so hot I couldn't finish it then had to eat some ice cream to calm my stomach and mouth. My mom had the soup and had to do the same. Didn't feel the customer service was that great at all the guy seemed annoyed and didn't seem to want to be there and didn't try to make our experience better. It's very small inside but lots of outside seating. You go up to the counter to order your food when you first walk in the door.

Food is authentic. I know having been to India. Their curry sauce is nothing short of balance... between the front and back of palate. It is sweet and flavorful, not hot spicy you to taste the delicacy of it. You can add heat if you like, but you don't want to.
Unbelievably great prices, super awesome chai, and big portion sizes. The family who owns the place is so kind and accommodating. I come here SO often cause it's so great!
Absolutely authentic and delicious! You can totally feel the love that goes into these dishes. Definitely operated by people who are passionate about food. Cooked to perfection and served with a sense of home, this is a great choice for a healthy mood lifter.
Inexpensive, ample portions, and reliably delicious. Sweet owners, too! Happy this is in my hood.
Not long ago this was the go to for really good Indian food. Last week it was really disappointing. Watered down curry. Literally
