“Have you ever had a meal in which you just don't want it to end? The flavors enhanced one another. We had scallops served with a pork belly slowly roasted to perfection. Our bison burger was so tender, cooked med rare and the freshest beets, potatoes and carrots roasted . The carmel toffee dessert melted in your mouth. The service was spot on. a lovely meal to the end of a great vacation in Banff.”

We ate at many restaurants in Banff and none touched the quality and taste of Brazen. We started with drinks of local beers from the rotating tap and the Garden Tea Party cocktail. We then moved on to the food portion of the meal. We had numerous dishes (mushrooms, ribs, potatoes, duck, gnocchi, and the ginger beef) and were pleased with the bold and flavorful taste of them all. We topped off the night with the house special Creme Brûlée and it was the perfect end to a delicious meal. Do yourself a favor and try this excellent restaurant!!”

The whole place feels like a castle in the Rockies, and the views are just breathtaking. The highlight for me was definitely the spa. If you're looking for a mix of luxury, relaxation, and a touch of magic, this place really delivers. Our kids ran around fresh mountain air while my husband and I were catered to by one of the best servers we’ve experienced. Zoran was enthusiastic and accommodating. He was very knowledgeable about wine and paired our meals and desert fabulously. Our one daughter has a very severe gluten allergy and the server took extra precautions to make sure food was safe for her. Highly recommend! And extra thanks to Zoran - our daughter hugged him on the way out !”

We were absolutely blown away by the quality and taste of the food—the milk bread, the scallops, the Alberta Brant Lake Wagyu Beef, the carrots and broccolini, and the sundae! Would definitely return to try more items on the menu!”

“Maclab is your best choice for food on the Banff Centre campus. The menu is generous, and has options to satisfy many different dietary preferences. The space is very large, bright, and welcoming… and it sports an amazing view of the surrounding mountains. The wine and cocktail list is fantastic🍷- definitely recommend the BC wines. The service was friendly and professional, but keep in mind that Maclab can get really busy at times and so, you should be prepared for slower service. Until next time Maclab!”

Worked out great timing as I saw Netherlands pile on a couple of goals to defeat Brazil 2 to 1 to knock them out of the world cup. I got the Strawberry cocktail on tap, wasn't too bad.”

The pizza is crispy and fluffy while still holding the toppings firmly. The wings were extra crispy and delicious and the poutine was my absolute favorite. It's hard finding a good poutine with good gravy.”

“Great bar! It is the only one up tunnel mountain which is great for anyone who doesn’t want to venture all the way downtown and worry about getting a taxi back later when the buses have stopped. The live music and activities keep it fun, with karaoke being a big hit! It also has Free pool and darts if you want a more chilled night. Decent priced drinks so you don’t break the bank. The staff a fun and friendly too 🙂”

“I can’t say enough good things about Alpha Bistro. We stayed at RMR for a family vacation and went to Alpha Bistro for my wife’s birthday. We were initially somewhat apprehensive because it seemed quiet (off season) but Kelly made us feel so special and really hit the nail on the head. Dinner was phenomenal… we both ordered the steak. It was absolutely delicious and truly exceeded our expectations. Kelly made us laugh more than a dozen times and really made my wife feel special on her big day. Classic bacon and eggs breakfast was as good as you’ll get anywhere, but under $10 USD. Ample table seating inside and out. Do not be dissuaded because it is attached to a gas station. A&W for the win!”

Our server Lauren was so kind and spot on with our table service, and when the missus' steak was a little underdone for her liking, Lauren took care of it right away and had it cooked by the kitchen staff to perfection. Gerry/Jerry the General Manager came over to our table and wanted to make sure everything was tasting great (which it was!) and he was such a delight to speak with. I honestly wished my GM from the Keg I worked with back in Calgary was even half as friendly as he was! Thank you to everybody who was on that night for making our Valentines Day so amazing, and we will certainly be back to eat at the Keg in the Caribou lodge specifically! “This was a really cool experience! We were playing tourist in Banff for the day, and were intrigued by the eclectic menu. We went back later that afternoon for lunch, and splurged on the fondue dinner for two. We were in no rush, with no itinerary, so we sat on the patio and enjoyed the sun and our four courses. Our server was Billy, and he was phenomenal. We jumped at the opportunity to try the exotic fondue, and enjoyed the off-menu duck breast fondue as well! I did take a peek inside the restaurant, and boy is it ever a vibe (I definitely felt underdressed in my bright t-shirt and shorts, haha). This was one of the absolute highlights of our super quick road trip from Northern BC to Southern AB. Definitely worth getting off of the freeway and braving the tourist moshes for.”

Jamie recommended us the Cajun beef short rib and it was perfect. Although we were kind of hesitant to eat the alligator bites, it was surprisingly really good. What truly elevated the experience was the setting. The restaurant offers a stunning view of the mountains and a beautifully maintained golf course, creating a relaxing and memorable atmosphere.
