“This is the place to go if you love hot pot. Good quality food, tasty, and flavorful broth. Good service and friendly staff.”
“Despite the very long wait, me and my family thought the food was very good and I loved how some meals came with sets and desserts. The atmosphere looked fairly new and nice and despite the lack of service, I thought the workers were pretty nice. We should come back one day.”
“this is definitely one of the noodle places
food was pretty good, but we ordered something asking for no allergens and they didn't make it with no allergens. my therapist will definitely be hearing about this once i get one.
EDIT in response to owner's response: It's been a while but it would have been egg and fish powder.”

“Pretty nice Sichuan restaurant at the mall. The food definitely stacks up to the competition. The sauerkraut fish was a must order and the fish tasted very fresh, the sauerkraut was crunchy and the soup was perfect. You also get to choose your sides for the sauerkraut fish and we opted for potato noodles, which turned out great as it soaked up the juices. The Chongqing chicken was good fried crunchiness. It could have been spicier, but was a good dish to complement the rice. Our little one opted for the tomato noodles with chicken wings and it tasted pretty good for a kid’s meal, not like something pre-made. The appetizer platter was just okay. While the wings were yummy, the fries were kind of weak and the third item was some sort of fried pork which was bland and soggy. Probably the coolest part of the experience was they had a convertible high chair for the booth seats which made it super convenient to seat the little one on the inside of the booth. The service was okay, as it seemed like there were too many service staff standing around in one area and they often looked confused as who to attend to. Overall our meal was yummy and we’d return.”
“This place is amazing. I go often and everything on their menu is delicious. Their service is always on point, it's like joining family.”

“Hands down, one of the best Chinese restaurants in the SGV. My favorite dishes are the cat ear shaped noodle soup and pork meatballs, as well as the wife’s special noodles, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Highly recommend for anybody in the surrounding area to try”
“Been on my list for a while and finally came in on a Saturday for lunch. The noodles were to die for! I got the special with three toppings and it was so perfect and delicious. The meat sauce and tomato egg brought back my childhood memories the nostalgia! The beef cubes were so tender and flavorful. The noodles are perfectly al dente with a little bite. Not to mention the bowl is huge! This place is legit!
The dumplings were good as well but I prefer some of the other SGV greats.
Service is quick and friendly. No wait when I went around 1pm. This is now my go to when I get noodle cravings!”

“There wasn't a lot of Korean options I could find in SGV for a weekend lunch that included the regular tofu house kind of fare and that wasn't a place that BF and I were not returning to anymore. What caught my eye at Omma Tofu House was their cold buckwheat noodles, a perfect item to order on a hot summer day.
I knew I didn't have enough appetite to finish their combo of galbi and cold buckwheat noodles, so I opted for the cold buckwheat noodles only ($14.99). BF ordered the bulgogi and beef tofu soup combo ($22.99). Everything really hit the spot.
We've been back multiple times to try other things on their menu like their dolsot bibimbap, jajangmyeon, galbi, spicy pork, spicy grilled chicken, and seafood pancake. All were pretty solid. Our usual go-to now would be a solo order of tofu soup and a tofu soup combo with whatever protein we are in the mood for that meal. They refill banchan, so just bring back the empty plate to the counter for some more. The counter also has a self-serving water/tea machine so you can refill your cup too.
Plenty of parking in the plaza. They close at 8 pm for all 7 days of business, so don't stop by too late, as the food court also tends to shut down around that time.”

“Arcadia location... we went for the Monday pizza deal, it was delicious, Marco provided great professional service, would definitely recommend!”

“This is our sixth time coming here. The $99 roast duck combo is something you definitely don’t want to miss. It includes a whole roast duck, lamb leg soup, pickled cabbage fish, dry-fried green beans, and even a dessert after the meal.
As always, we also love their scallion-flavored grilled fish. It’s crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly sweet and savory. At just $36, it’s an amazing value.
The ingredients are always very fresh. As long as they keep offering this combo, we’ll definitely keep coming back. Such a great deal!”
“I like this place. $13.99 per pound of food. You get to choose all your toppings. I recommend going heavy on the meats and light on the carbohydrates. That’ll be the best bang for the buck. They also have frog meat if that’s your lingo. I tried their beef bone broth and I like it a lot. I’d come back again.
**UPDATE**
Just a heads up. If you can’t eat mild this place won’t be for you. They can’t alter the broth. The only option is the tomato broth which is no spicy.”
“Best Dim Sum!!!! My children and I have been coming here for years, and we absolutely love this restaurant. The staff is so attentive and kind and the food is absolutely delicious 😋 We've love trying new places, but when it comes to Dim Sum, no one beats Capital Seafood. Thank you, Mia, and the entire wonderful staff, you all make every visit a treat & we always leaving absolutely full and lazy, lol. Thank you! 💝”
“There used to be in a Marugame near my college, but it has disappeared and since then, I’ve been yearning for it. Marugame’s noodles are bouncy and the soup rich in fishy flavor. I love the ability to tempura, but my tempura was a little too soggy in the breading. But overall, loved the experience and the food”
“I attended a private event at Arcane Cafe on Saturday. The maids were super sweet, though definitely busy seeing to everyone. The event went over the allotted time and, though it was very late, they were very understanding and didn't try to rush us out of the cafe. At this event, you paid for a afternoon tea service. I have attended MANY afternoon tea events--at restaurants, afternoon tea cafes, and hotels--and Arcane Cafe's afternoon tea had some of the BEST food I've ever had for tea, but they gave you so much! Everything was absolutely delicious and presented so nicely. It was such a fun event, the maids were gracious hosts, and I would definitely go back again by myself (even though it's a bit of a hike from my home).”
“This restaurant has all the qualities of an exquisite Szechuan cuisine. The typically fragrance of the famous dishes will inspire you surrounded by the authentic Chengdu ambiance is a highly recommendation.”
“KK discovered a ramen spot with great atmosphere in Arcadia — Fujiya Ramen 🍜
The space feels like a cozy Japanese izakaya, with warm lighting that makes it perfect for friend gatherings or casual dates. The service was friendly, and the pacing of the dishes was just right ✨
This time we tried two popular ramen bowls:
🍜 Fujiya Chashu Ramen
The broth is rich but not heavy, and the chashu is tender and flavorful. It stays delicious until the last bite.
🌶️ Volcano Ramen
The spice has great depth and layers — perfect for those who enjoy bold flavors. Definitely memorable!
🍱 Eel Rice Bowl
The eel is thick and satisfying, with a balanced sweet-savory sauce that pairs perfectly with hot rice.
🥟 Sakura Pork Chashu Buns
A small but delightful surprise. The chashu is well-seasoned, and each bite is just right 😋
🔥 Mix Yakitori Platter (8 skewers)
Includes chicken wings, chicken hearts, pork belly, and more — each skewer carries a delicious charcoal aroma. The chicken skin with chili was my favorite!
🦑 Grilled Squid
Grilled to perfection with a slight char. A squeeze of lemon makes it even more refreshing.
Overall, this is the kind of place you’ll think of when you
✔️ want a proper bowl of ramen
✔️ want to pair it with some yakitori and drinks
✔️ or crave something warm late at night 🤍”

“Excellent Food! Excellent Service!!! I was having a stressful day and decided to get some delicious Pad Thai from my favorite restaurant, Srisiam Thai Kitchen. The cashier delivered the food to me while I was in my car and I was gifted eggrolls! Thank you so much for ending my stressful day on a good note! I truly appreciate your delicious food and superb customer service! Thank you so much!”
“Shaded parking to beat the heat! The parking signs have the logo of this establishment underneath the other business (an optical store) so don't hesitate to park around this simulator business. Friendly staff, comfortable interior, and gcquad! Great rates, up to 6 people. Would come back!”
“Delicious food at a great value. Every dish was spot on and came out quickly but we were the only table seated at 9:30PM on a Thursday. Pretty small seating area with a cluttered interior but there is clearly care behind every plate. The chongqing noodles were quite spicy and numbing - my personal favorite. The crispy duck rice was very rich, and the spicy beef soup with rice noodles had a vinegar flavor that cut through but was a little lacking. Additionally the hot and sour jelly was refreshing and spicy.”
“I love it here, especially for the drinks. Their cocktails are a hidden gem and taste better than those in DTLA. For example, I casually bring up a Green Point with my friend, and the mixologist instantly recognizes and knows how to create it. Will definitely come back for more.”
“A cozy and homey casual noodle restaurant. They serve classic comfort food and have decent portions and good value. Simple menu and delicious food that is satisfying. The noodles came with lots of meat and was well seasoned. The interior is very clean and the staff are friendly. No credit cards under $25, but they take Venmo and Zelle.”

“So this was my first time doing Omakase. Wow what an experience. I will start off to say that the service was fantastic. They really take care of you . We ordered some sake and waited for the 6 course chef’s choice meal to start coming out. As you can see from the pictures the presentation was fantastic. All the fish had such good flavor and buttery goodness. Such amazing flavors. I for the life of me cannot remember anything that we got in particular but all I know is that it was delicious. I know I did try some stuff that I normally wouldn’t have but all tasted fantastic. Service was just top notch , they saw our sake cup was empty they would come over and refill for us. WOW! It’s a tiny place and started to fill up after they opened at 11:30am. We had reservations for 11:30am at the bar. Does seem to be a very popular spot definitely would go back and try some other stuff. Had a great time hanging with My close friend . Will be back.
Enjoy !!!!”

“Their Tan Tan Men Ramen are the best! I love how I have the opportunity to customize our ground meat choices (I.e. ground pork or ground chicken). Topped with nori, baby bok choy, bean sprouts, hard-boiled egg, and ground meat, the ramen have the perfect flavor. Their chicken karaage were the best too!”

“😁Since I was a little girl we have been patroning The Shrimp House when it was in El Monte and now here and the Jumbo Shrimp have always been our favorite. It was my mom's favorite food so now it is a great reminder of our wonderful family times and the food and all the sides continue to be delicious!! Thank you!”
“Benggongs Tea
📍411 E Huntington Dr Suite 113, Arcadia, CA 91006

💰2/5 ($)

📩 Boba boba! I had the chance to try out @bengong and it was super delicious!
We ordered:
1. Mango Mochi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
2. Osmanthus Latte ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
3. Jasmine Tea Latte ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
4. Peach Latte ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I think the best Asian compliment you can get for dessert is the “not so sweet,” from your aunties, and this was definitely what it was giving.
The sweetest drink by far was the Mango Mochi which was served as a slush. It was super refreshing and a good pick me up drink for a hot day.
The tea lattes were also very good and are definitely a good option for less sweet items. My personal favorite between the lattes had to be the peach latte which was super refreshing and a good study drink!
Environment is also a good place to study and chill at, but definitely on the smaller side 📚🙇♀️📖

“Spices Thai Kitchen is a tiny hole-in-the-wall joint with max 1 or 2 tables inside, so it really feels more like a to-go place. We've only done takeout and our orders are usually ready in ~20 minutes. We most recently got their Pad Thai (thin noodle with egg, bean sprouts, green onions, and tofu) at medium spice and their Yellow Curry (chicken, potatoes, onions, and carrots in coconut milk) at mild. Their curries don't come with rice, so make sure to order a side or have some at home already. And we enjoy spicy food, but here medium packs a lot of heat, so we tend to stick to mild. An absolute neighborhood gem that has become our go to Thai fix in Arcadia.”
“I don't drink alcohol so I can NOT give a review of their product, but the facilities are nice, clean, friendly staff and they do have a large outside patio with tables, benches and umbrellas and a stage for small music groups. Their parking lot is small and to access it you have to go down an alley to find it. It is a micro brewery (I think). There is no food menu as they don't serve food, but there is usually a food truck parked either in front or in back to get something to eat. ;)”

“Delicious food, this is the best taco spot in the area by far. There’s a reason these guys’ rating is so high, the quality of their food speaks for itself. It’s one of the only places I’ll happily wait in line as long as I need to because it’s always worth it. Everything is fairly priced for the quantity and the guys who run it are friendly. Highly recommend”
“This place made me feel like I was in a small town in Japan. The quality of sushi blows away anything at the mall a few blocks away and the pricing is perfect. The tempura was a good variety and only $5.50!!! If you want some authentic Japanese great quality food this is where you should be going!!”
“The food here was so, so good. I had the carnitas platter and chose corn tortillas. The corn tortillas were amazing—warm and a firm bite. They didn’t immediately fall apart like most corn tortillas do. The guacamole and chips (also made in house) were also top notch. Great service too and I had enough to take home for another meal.”

“What a wonderful little diner to come across. The food was wonderful, the staff super friendly, the portions generous and the price was very reasonable. Met a gentleman in the table next to me who said he has been coming here since he was a little boy and it's always been this way.”
“I ordered coffee and donuts here — and I was really impressed. The coffee was aromatic, rich, and pleasantly energizing, with that perfect balanced flavor you want to savor slowly. The donuts were fresh, soft, and airy, with just the right amount of sweetness. You can tell they’re made with care. It’s a lovely place I’d gladly return to in order to enjoy this delicious duo again.”
“Not sure if that was a tea place for me. Firstly, it was really sweet. Even though you can choose your own preference of sweetness ( I chose 50%) my tea tasted overly sweet. I got the fruit tea. A different and distinct flavor from other fruit teas I’ve had. Both drinks tasted heavy on sweetness despite the level being 50% and other 25% . However, I would give this place another try since the flavors were distinct and the place was neat and clean.
It is a self serve and not to hang out tea place. So just order and go.”
“Albertano’s Mexican Food is an absolute gem! The food here is delicious, authentic, and packed with flavor. The carne asada is tender and perfectly seasoned, and their burritos are huge definitely come hungry! I also tried the menudo and it was rich, comforting, and spot on, just like a homemade recipe.
The service is friendly and fast, and even though the portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere feels cozy and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a casual meal.
If you’re craving real Mexican comfort food with big portions and great taste, this place will not disappoint.
Highly recommend! 🤩💕🇲🇽🌮🌯”
“Very enjoyable visit. I spoke with one of the head chef Moe and he was very polite and helped me and my wife in deciding what sushi to get. He even recommended some Burmese dishes that were amazing. The environment was very welcoming and understanding of someone who had no prior knowledge to the food. Will definitely be coming back soon!”
“Update:
Stopped by this cute spot again today and tried their ceremonial hojicha drinks — and honestly, so good.
We got the iced hojicha latte and a hojicha affogato, and both were super smooth, earthy, and not overly sweet. The latte had that perfect roasted flavor, and the affogato was such a fun treat — creamy, rich, and topped with a fluffy swirl that looked as good as it tasted.
The ordering area is bright and clean, and their menu board makes everything look extra tempting. If you love matcha or hojicha (or just want to switch things up from regular coffee), this place is definitely worth a stop.
Would totally come back to try the matcha affogato next time. 💚
We ordered “chunk and swirls” and “caramel fudge cashews”. They are so good, so satisfying. Highly recommended these two flavors. (Sorry my husband ate it all before I can take a picture of his)”
“I saw this newly opened shop that’s next to Ai Wei Ju. After finished our meal at Ai Wei Ju, we hopped over to Coconut Jelly King in Alhambra for dessert, and I must say it was a delightful experience. This charming little spot offers a wide range of refreshing beverages and tasty treats, with a special focus on coconut jelly-based creations.Firstly, the atmosphere at Coconut Jelly King is relaxed and inviting. The interior is bright and clean, adorned with Tiffany blue-themed decorations that immediately transport you to a classy cafe. The staff members were friendly and attentive, ready to assist with any questions and recommendations. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the coconut jelly. The coconut jelly-based drinks at Coconut Jelly King are simply fantastic. I tried their signature coconut jelly smoothie, and it was a perfect blend of creamy coconut goodness and a hint of sweetness. The coconut jelly itself was wonderfully tender and added a delightful texture to the drink. It was clear that they use high-quality ingredients, as the flavors were rich and authentic. In addition to their excellent coconut jelly smoothies, Coconut Jelly King also offers a variety of other flavored jellies. We had their fresh coconut jelly which came in the whole coconut. We loved the texture. They also offer other flavors as well, there is something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed their red bean coconut jelly which was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. To complement their beverages, Coconut Jelly King also serves a selection of delectable snacks and desserts. I couldn't resist trying their egg waffles and it was a true delight. Chewy , smooth, and crunchy with the natural flavors of coconut, it was a perfect ending to my visit. The prices at Coconut Jelly King are reasonable, considering the quality and freshness of the ingredients used. They also offer generous portion sizes, ensuring that you get great value for your money. The menu is diverse enough to cater to various preferences, and the ability to customize your drink according to your liking is an added bonus.Overall, my experience at Coconut Jelly King was fantastic. The combination of great ambiance, friendly service, and exceptional coconut jelly-based drinks made it a memorable visit. Whether you're a coconut lover or simply looking to try something new and refreshing, I highly recommend stopping by Coconut Jelly King in Alhambra. It's a hidden gem that deserves recognition for its unique and delicious offerings.”
“Chicken and beef pies I have loved most of my life. Still great !!!!!”
“We came here for dinner and really liked it! The 咸豆花 was amazing, smooth, warm, and tasted super authentic. The fried dough sticks were crispy and fragrant, perfect for dipping. The place feels like a cozy local spot, nothing fancy but just right.”

“Not bad for an all you can eat hot pot, but a few more food selection would be nice on top of what they have. $37 is a bit much for the amount they have. They have two tiers. Premium and Prime. Prime is $53. The soy sauce they use at the sauce station is more salty than the other soy sauces I've had. One of the staff, younger girl kept messing up with the soup base orders for our table and another table's. It wasn't even busy at that time. It's nice they do birthday discounts. Free drinks and ice cream so that's also a plus. Would be nice if they had strawberry ice cream instead of double cookies and cream rubs. They should add pork blood rice cakes. Parking in the back can be limited.”

“Stopped in to have some dinner and a shark theme drink tried the shark attack so cool and you even get to keep the Shark shot. Glass baked potato soup is good a little bit salty and a little too much cheese. The blue cheese dressing is delicious on the house salad And steak with like seasoning was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, our dinner was cut short due to a family emergency so we weren’t able to eat everything at the location Brea was our server and she did a really great job. She’s able to get us rung out and out of the restaurant quick and efficiently so we could get to our family emergency 10 out of 10 recommend this place is clean. The service is good. The food is delicious. Plenty of parking. The bathrooms are clean and they do have a hot fresh bread service. Thank you for the great service Maria. It’s a little pricey and portion sizes are bad average.”

“626 was a pretty fun experience overall. The planning was pretty good, as the food, games, shops, and entertainment were all separated from each other, so it was pretty easy to walk around and experience everything 626 had to offer. The carnival games were actually pretty fun to play, which was a big plus. The squid stick was definitely the highlight of the food for me, as it was worth the long wait to get it.
The only bad things was the unpredictability of the quality of almost every shop. Some of the food was pretty good, some not worth the money. The lobster bread I got was not only expensive, but it was small and not good. There were also a lot of shops that were kind of repetitive, as Labubus was everywhere. If you go next time, go with a bunch of people, look up some food recommendations before waiting in line, and just enjoy!”

“If you’re looking for coffee, matcha, brunch, pastries, or just a chill and cozy place to hang out — go to Tekosu! You won’t be disappointed.
The place is clean and comfortable, and the staff are super friendly too!
If you love coffee, don’t forget to try the Gula Aren Latte and the Creamy Biscoff Latte. Worried it might be too sweet? Don’t be! They can adjust the sweetness level to your liking.
Want something more refreshing?
Try the Yuzu Americano — it’s so damn good!
And their matcha? Highly recommended!
My favorite is the Matcha Matcha Cloud!
Can’t wait to come back and try more of their drink variations!”
“One of my top favorite Taiwanese restaurants in Arcadia! Thankfully, they finally switched to plastic containers and proper dishes for dine-in. I love their strawberry milk tea!! Although they don't allow you to add boba, it still tastes amazing.
5 star service too! Quiet area during lunch
P.S. if you let the tomato sauce beef dry noodle soak in the sauce overnight it will change your life. Thank me later”
“Taiyaki is bomb and a great deal and I would give them 5 stars just for that. Usually just get the cheese. Service is also amazing, the shop owner is super sweet and once asked if I wanted a plastic bags to put all my things I was carrying. She won me over from that but we do frequent this place often just for the taiyaki. Bingsu is good on a hot day as well. Every time I'm at the mall my wife makes me come here to get taiyaki. Very simple and well made.”

Free drinks and ice cream so that's also a plus. Would be nice if they had strawberry ice cream instead of double cookies and cream rubs. They should add pork blood rice cakes. Parking in the back can be limited.”
“Best donuts in the area by far! The new owners are an awesome and friendly young family that bake everything fresh and with skill. We moved a little farther away recently and still come back to this location because we love it so much. I highly recommend the tiger tail.”
“This place is amazing, great prices, great tasting ingredients and large portions. Staff were great and very accommodating. Allowed me to try these acai ube and lite acai which are both phenomenal and I highly recommend. Toppings were including and they don’t charge for each topping like most places. The acai was stacked and compacted, very dense. Everything tasted fresh. Probably the best I’ve tried soo far. I had ube base and acai topped with overnight oats which are all amazing. You have to try this place. Definitely coming back when I’m nearby or craving a really really good acai bowl”
“Ordered shrimp chive pork dumplings and wonton noodle soup with pork & shrimp.
Dumpling tasted very fresh and juicy.
Wonton soup with noodles was Ok although as pictured the soup dumplings are quite large.
Ordered to go.
$25.29
Definitely a must try if in the area.
Enjoy!!”
“This is a very authentic Sichuan spicy and numbing flavor from China. The owner cooks it herself, just like in her own kitchen. We has eaten here many times and it's very delicious. The environment is also very clean. Friends who like spicy and numbing flavors should not miss it. My son especially likes their bullfrogs. They are very fresh and rich in protein. The owner is also very warm-hearted. She insists on not adding any chemical additives to the food. Every time I take the remaining soup home to cook noodles. I will come again next time.👍”
“Hands down, one of the best Chinese restaurants in the SGV. My favorite dishes are the cat ear shaped noodle soup and pork meatballs, as well as the wife’s special noodles, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Highly recommend for anybody in the surrounding area to try”
