“What a great find! We just landed from the east coast and needed some fuel before venturing too far. This little joint was exactly what we needed! Fried chicken, waffles, and corn bread, oh my!!!! Our son loved the tenders and we loved our meals. The service was so friendly too! FYI: They are switching to exclusively offering take out soon.”

“This place is pure Guatemalan awesomeness! It's just as good if not better than the original. The pan francés And pan dulce are on point, and the breakfast is amazing. If you love Guatemalan and Central American style breakfast this is the place for you. I have to warn you though, parking and seating is tough on the weekends. So be ready to park a few blocks away, and hunt for a good table once you get there.”

I have seen many locations across the bay area.

Food: Most of the foods are grilled or fried. All of them are tasty and fresh. Many fish choices, sauces, and sites to choose from. My favorite sauces are garlic butter and Cajun. The fish and chips are very good with tartar sauce. The grilled sea bass fish are very flavorful and would recommend having sauce on the side.

Price: very reasonable price for portions of food.”

“I’ve been going to Celia’s since I was a kid, never been disappointed I love every location I’ve been to, Daly City is my go to because it’s so close to me, always have tables available, games on, drinks flowing, service impeccable! Food phenomenal! Sopas are my number one meal because it taste exactly like my moms. Enchiladas and crunchy tacos are next and after that anything else on the menu I’ve ever had, I never had any kind of issues with they are always delicious. Drinks like margaritas are always a favorite too! Can’t go wrong with Celia’s special and a Cadillac margaritas are favorites here. I’ve celebrated it all here at this location as well, birthdays, graduations, engagements, you name it many many wonderful memories here 🥰”

“This is one of the best flavored Mexican restaurants I've ever tried. The flavor of their steak or carne asada and their shrimps off the grill.... that flavor is just off the hook. There is a little parking out front they do have a little bar inside plenty of tables. I've tried the tacos the burritos I've tried the platters the carne asada platter so far everything I've tried is excellent.”

“After doing some fun shopping we worked up an appetite and decided to get some burgers. Finally tried superduperburgers veggie burgers which were SOO good. With some added jalapenos , grilled onions and avocado, this was a super tasty treat. We also got the garlic fries and the double chocolate cookie milkshake. A nice lil treat they have is homemade pickles that you can get near the condiment section which was also really good. Overall great establishment and good food. Go hungry and you won’t be disappointed!”

The pho broth is delicious and flavorful with generous amounts of all the standard sides and sauce options. They have large servings with a side of lettuce, cucumber, and pickled carrot and radish. Had the 2 piece combo. 2 chicken thighs (spicy and regular) - both were delicious, juicy and surprisingly large (compared to Popeyes) with gravy, 2 sides (mashed potatoes and gravy, Cole slaw) and a biscuit for $12.62 out the door. Parking lot was crowded but had no trouble finding a spot that required a short walk. Eating area was crowded but was able to share a table with a kind and delightful little old (her words - 87) Filipino Lady enjoying Palabok. Can't wait until my next trip out to this area!”

“Los Metates has a decent taco salad $16. It tasted fine but it felt small. It is missing key ingredients like pico del gallo. Pico del gallo (tomatoes and onions) would have made this salad 2x better as it blends well with iceberg lettuce and gives is more flavor. It comes with free chips and two condiment cups of salsa. Both sauce cups were spicy. Service was quick as I was the customer at 6:30pm. One weird thing, the menu on the wall with the photos, some items don't have prices on them. For example, Quesabirria tacos are $8 each. I don't like restaurants where they don't put prices on their menu.”

1. Longsilog: Still as good as I remember but now they open it up.

2. Tocilog: Sweet and I love the little pieces. I'm not a fan when they are big pieces

3. Chicken bbq- My niece liked it, it just had to be warmed up.

4. Picadilllo: I wasn't a fan of, too sweet and too much bell peppers and carrots.

5. Garlic peanuts: My dad liked it but said it's too salty.

6. I had asked for a sode of sabao and the sinigang was so deliciously sour.”

“Frozen brisket like a Korean BBQ place, you fill the bowl up as much as you want and add any veggies you want. They take the bowl and let you choose which sauces/fresh garlic/ seasoning you want on it and throw it on a flat top grill with a bowl full if noodles. It's great for the price. I would pay $50 for this at a Korean BBQ place”

“Huge portions and really good food! The star of the show was the molcajete. It had fried fish, shrimp, chicken, and carne asada in it- with a ton of meat in ours. We also had the quesabirria which were full of meat too! Next time we will just share the molcajete but definitely will be back.”

“I've been to a few sandwich and cos and this is by far the best run. Clean, organized and good service. Others I have been to felt like they were cutting corners, this one maintains a higher standard.

Overall it is basic sandwiches done well. Morning to write home about, but is also exactly what I want sometimes.”
