“I went here for the first time on a Monday evening. The service was really good and on point on this day. Staff was always checking on us, always making sure our stove was clean or removing finished dishes. I got us the Deluxe meal. The spicy baby octopus was good. The gyōza dumplings and egg rolls were really good. They have sushi as well. Their menu can be accessed by QR code or you can ask for a physical menu.”

“If you are looking for authenticity of Nanjing Salted Duck, this is the place.

The restaurant features a delicacy that you can not find in other restaurants. You should always pair the duck with a noodle soup as the salty flavor compliments it super well.

The turkey served in a similar fashion also has great flavor which is hard to achieve considering that turkey generally is dry.

The people are always down to chat so don't be afraid to start a conversation with them”

“I've been ordering food from China express for the past 2 years. I'm satisfied all the time. I usually order through uber eats since it's the only way I can get my salt n pepper shrimp lol. It's because when I go in person and ask for it, I get told they don't have that but whenever I order through uber I always get it and it's delicious. (I promise it's the correct restaurant). Either way, the chow mein is great. Fried rice is great too. Not mushy, not dry, perfectly cooked and not overly greasy. Their broccoli beef, spicy fried chicken, and omg the orange chicken. Their orange chicken has a perfect taste and I love that even though it's nicely coated with the sweet glaze, the chicken still maintains it's crunch. (I have a problem with soggy mushy orange chicken from other places). Plus, I always know, that I will always have seconds to for dinner or take for lunch the next day. Plus, it's not overly pricey.”

“Not sure why I haven't left a review for this spot yet l've been here a bunch of times already. They open pretty early, so it's a solid place to grab pho or other Vietnamese eats in the morning.
I usually go for the pho dac biet, but l've also tried the hu tieu and the banh mi xiu mai, which were both pretty decent. Lately, l've been especially into their pho the broth tastes lighter and cleaner (less oily), which I really like.
They also do a great job with their takeout game everything is packed well. Prices are reasonable too, which is probably why I keep coming back. Whenever I'm around El Monte these days, this is my go-to lunch spot.”

South El Monte is also home to a lot of Taiwanese boba supplies companies and import so that makes people who start boba shop businesses in the South El Monte an easy access to the materials and that makes it all thrive. When I am not getting the 7Leaves down the street in South El Monte, I would come here to study Mandarin or work on software engineering projects remotely. I think South El Monte has a thriving community of Asian and boba drink lovers. Hello Boba adds another great addition to that one. Another great option is Boba Time which is also right down the same street. I love to get boba and then head to the King Taco place and drink boba with my taco.”

“Love the pizza. I wish they would expand their toppings. The one complaint is their online ordering form by Tabit.us is terrible to use. The fields for data entry are too small, and you can’t see if you’ve made an entry error. For example when entering my phone number I accidentally hit one wrong number, and didn’t see it until it went to send the confirmation code to the wrong number. I used the back arrow, and was not able to enter a new phone number. I deleted the whole order, reordered, and it pulled up the wrong phone number again. The only way I was able to place an order was to delete the order AGAIN, log out of the website, log back in, and select NO to Use location? Terrible ordering experience that could easily be fixed with a better form design. It’s not rocket science.”

“My cousin recommended this place. He was gracious enough to share some conchas with me one morning and told me this is where he got them from. I finally went to get some myself. The reviews had me a little apprehensive because they mentioned rude customer service to non spanish speaking clients... I still went cause the conchas were literally the best I've ever had lol I wanted to get some myself. I am please to report, that my trip and experience was wonderful 🙌🙏 the women who helped me did not speak English to well but that didnt stop either of us from communicating with each other she was very pleasant and patient with me🤗😅 the prices are a little up there but I feel like most place sell sweet bread over a dollar now. The only thing I wished this place do differently is not package the Tacos in Aluminum foil instead paper plates or plastic wrap for personal health reasons, but it's a minor health personal thing-most people don't pay attention to. Other than that I recommend this place. Have 2 days of week lower their tacos prices for more traffic in and I'll try Breakfast dishes one these days. Asada Nachos looks bomb too!”
