“We had dinner there and the food was delicious…. The fried quail was the star. The starters were excellent. Very recommended restaurant”
“From momos to aromatic curries, each dish is a burst of Nepalese tradition and taste. Friendly service and reasonable prices make it a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Nepal in the heart of the USA.”
“We walked in on NYE without a reservation and they graciously found us a spot in the bar area. Service was on point and staff were festively dressed! I love a crafty cocktail but most are too sweet. I had the Smokey mezcal cocktail 🍹. Perfection. Appetizers were delish as well. Perfect way to start our NYE celebrations.”

“I highly recommend Mashallah Halal if you are looking for quality Lamb Curry✌🏾”
“Hôtel Biron feels like a hidden pocket of the city where the night slows down and the world softens a bit. The dim light, the brick, the curated art on the walls—it all hits with this warm, lived-in charm that makes you want to stay longer than you planned.
The owner Ron and bartenders are the heartbeat here. Warm, real, and genuinely happy to guide you through the wine list like old friends. No ego, no performance—just people who love what they do and make you feel taken care of.
The wine selection is thoughtful and full of surprises, the kind that makes you pause for a second because it’s that good.
It’s a cozy, art-soaked refuge in the middle of SF. Can’t recommend it enough.”
“It’s a great place to meet friends for fun food and have a glass of wine… it has a cozy interior or you can sit out on Dolores sidewalk and enjoy the lovely neighborhood. The owner and his wife make make you feel relaxed and welcome. It’s also a great date spot and the tables are set up for comfort or intimacy if you prefer- it also offers food to go! Most people who try it want to return!”
“Convenient location in the heart of the city. Fantastic, Involved and Caring owners. Quality Product, would definitely recommend.”
“Had my go to at any Salvadoran spot: pupusas de queso y lorroco with some plátanos and an atole de elote. Everything tasted great! I just wish they would’ve given me more curtido but overall fast service during a Monday afternoon”
“Not cheap. Overall a good experience and I'd come back. The ceviche was a 10, very authentic Peruvian. The fish tacos were very abundant and fish was very fresh and perfectly cooked, they could have used a little heat in my opinion though. The kids' hot dog was a little too smokey, I liked them but my kid didn't. The service was slow and sloppy, maybe they were understaffed being a holiday.”
“Best laid back bar in town. Excellent foor and drinks.”
“This place has amazing and authentic Cuban style food and drinks. the pastries are made in house and are world class. the customer service is stellar. the amazing flavors of the food will bring you back, over and over. #cuba”
“Dacha is clean, friendly, & welcoming!”
“Stumbled upon this boba shop and I am so glad I did! Got the taro ube milk tea and enjoyed it. Very cute atmosphere as well. Also snagged some pastries at the bakery next door.”
“Super yummy warm treats and coffee”
“Lily and her family make a great team. Very friendly bar, with good service and generous measures of drinks at very reasonable prices. Luckily we were staying just down Post so it quickly became our go-to bar during our short stay in SF. Lovely chicken wings too. Thanks for a great time. And a lovely fluffy cat to boot !!”
“We hired the Brazuca Grill food truck, a family run business, to cater our office holiday party last week. They were a hit. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was impeccable. They were easy to work with from first contact two weeks in advance, through the end of the event night.
They offered combo plates of steak, chicken, pork, or veggie, with rice, black beans, mixed salad, fried sweet plantains, and yuca fries. The meats were cooked perfectly, juicy, and tasty. The sides complimented the meal nicely. They brought Guarana drinks that people also found refreshing.
The final price was very reasonable for the wonderful food and friendly service. They’re a small business that deserves our community’s support.”
“Holy Schnike!!! The food is incredibly delicious, the non-seafood versions I am getting are the most amazing tastes. The Wines paired with the dishes are inspired and spot on.”
Restaurants with Delivery
“One of my absolute favorite restaurants in SF. Visited a few times and this past one really reminded me why this place is special. The food is fantastic, but never pretentious. Maggie mentioned her favorite item was the salad which I couldn’t believe, but to be honest I think it was my favorite too. The black cod and the daikon rice cake were also insanely good. The service was exception, huge shout out to Maggie for her help with our allergies too. Highly recommend!!”
“My friend, Mike, who lives nearby with his wife, raved about it so much that my BF and I decided to come after a short trip to Marin. It was everything that he described and more. It was fantastic! Excellent food and atmosphere. Will definitely add to my list of favorites and will recommend to my Palo Alto friends!”
“I went to KEN for my birthday and it was absolutely phenomenal. The fish was delicious; so many new flavors and combinations; the chef was superb - talented and entertaining, with great attention to detail. The service was impeccable. I cannot say enough good things!”
“3.5/4 A dark ambiance bar known for creative, themed, and seasonal menus. The cocktails were fun and playful but taste wise, they were just ok. The decor leans casual and relaxed - good for both friend groups and dates. Honestly I don't remember too much bc I was busy canoodling so safe to say it was dark enough, vibey enough and I had great company:'). A fun place, not too packed on Sat past midnight, would recommend.”
“One of our top dining experiences. The vibe of the entire experience was spectacular from the dark yet vibrant decor, the background music selection, the colorful plating selections that made the food visually pop, and to the careful and detailed food presentation. Just stunning - all of my senses were dancing in delight.
The staff is incredibly friendly and the chefs top notch. The taco courses were our favorite. The entire progression was exceptional and well executed.”
“Best vegan meal I’ve ever had, went twice in a four days it was that good ❤️”
Outdoor Dining
“We waited about 25 minutes in line on a Wednesday evening and another 20 or so for the food, but in the end it was worth it.
The toasted carne asada burrito was outstanding, and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t usually go for burritos. I really liked that it didn’t include rice. The meat was flavourful and everything tasted incredibly fresh.”
“Cantina Los Mayas was really good. The waiters and chef were genuinely kind, friendly, and welcoming, and the overall vibe made the experience even better. Portions are big and the prices are very budget-friendly, so it felt like great value.
We started with the ceviche—it was spicy, but super balanced with a fresh pineapple-lime flavor that made it bright and refreshing. We also ordered the queso fundido, and it was a highlight: a creamy, milky blend of cheeses with chorizo, and I loved the little candle underneath that kept it warm the whole time.
For my main dish, I got the mariscos served in a pineapple. It hit that perfect sweet-and-spicy combo, and the two roasted shrimp were honestly so delicious. I just wish it came with a few more shrimp, but overall the rest of the seafood was filling and satisfying.
The only thing I was expecting a bit more from was the salsas—I hoped for stronger flavor and more heat. That said, they were still good.
Also, the location is great and easy to find, and parking nearby was pretty easy, which made the whole night even smoother.”
“Aziza is a total mood. The decor hits that perfect sweet spot of dark, soothing, and sophisticated. It’s the kind of atmosphere that lets you really focus on the food.
And speaking of the food: the dips are the undisputed stars here. Every single one we tried was packed with flavor and perfectly textured. While the flatbread is incredible on its own, its true purpose in life is clearly to serve as a vehicle for those dips.
The Shakshuka was another standout, beautifully presented with a sophisticated foam that really elevated the dish. We also tried the Cornbread, which was a delightful surprise. I expected a simple side, but it was unexpectedly sweet and completely hit the mark.
The waiting staff was nice and funny.
Any chance of a South Bay expansion?”
“If you make a reservation then you will be hosted in the dining area with fixed menu.
If you walk in, you can sit in the lounge and bar area which is a first come first serve basis. They also have some tables in this area.
Staff were super friendly and guided us with the menu.
My favorite dish was the famous burger which is only available in the lounge area.”

“Truly enjoyed our dinner here. We ordered one additional dish alongside the fixed course, and every single plate was delicious and beautifully presented. I especially loved the variety of ingredients—particularly the vegetables, many of which were new to me and incredibly fresh. The flavors, atmosphere, and service were all excellent, and the price was very reasonable for the quality offered. Highly recommend!”

“Sorella is one of our favorite restaurants in SF. We're moving out in March, so we had to come back to it one last time, and, as with all the other times we have been there, it did not disappoint. 5 star service 5 star food and drinks 5 star setting What more could you ask? Shoutout to Jocyln for bringing us an extra treat at the end of the night and for being a great waitress. :) Timo”
“everything about the restaurant, from the heated outdoor dining, people who work there, the food so deliciously great especially the one that prepares and cook it, THE CHEFS, amazingly incredible they are and not so pricey above all.”
“Welcome to heaven on earth. SF local and either best resturant I've ever been at or tied for first with Han Il Kwan II. Ridiculous quality and exceptional taste. Highly reccomend.”
24 Hour Restaurants
“Even though we didn’t end up renting from City View Commissary, we felt compelled to leave a review because the experience and customer service were truly exceptional.
The venue itself is beautiful, clean, spacious, and thoughtfully maintained. & a kitchen space could be included in the rental. It’s the kind of space you can easily imagine transformed for a special event. But what really stood out was CJ’s kindness and humanity.
We had just lost our wedding venue only weeks before our wedding. An incredibly stressful and emotional situation and CJ was beyond understanding and compassionate. He was willing to work with us, took the time to listen to our needs, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. Even more impressively, he went above and beyond by connecting us with another venue that ended up being a better fit for our wedding, even while we were actively touring his space.
That level of integrity, empathy, and genuine care is rare. City View Commissary is not only a lovely venue, but it’s run by people who truly care about others and that matters. We’re incredibly grateful to CJ and highly recommend City View Commissary to anyone looking for a space and an outstanding team behind it.”
“I think I've left commentary on this place previously.. So all truth I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! A little too much. About 10 pounds too much. The buttermilk maple warm with cold milk.. tdf. My boyfriends face is the chocolate crossiont warmed. The chocolate inside is mini chocolate chips so it melts just right. I could go on and on but you should go see yourself. Fo sho!”
“6th St between Market and Mission used to be the heart of San Francisco. Until the new jewish mayor Lurie stabbed it. We used to go out there, eat at Halal Burgers and then spend the night out. Without all the police state ruckus that is going on now end of Jan 26. But despite all the efforts of that obscene filth now sullying city hall, we still go out. And we still stop at Halal Burgers even though the scene has moved on. The food is excellent at prices that are very affordable. A chicken leg quarter, a potato salad and a drink is less than $10.
That said, they downsized the number of tables to sit at. That needs to be changed back.”
“Wide selection of high quality grab and go items. Staff were all knowledgeable and customer centered. They have the most exquisite desserts and a wide selection. I must have tried all of them but the pecan pie was my favorite next to the chocolate mousse cake. The coffee crumb cake was just so-so. Chicken salad was also very good with a whole chicken breast, almonds, cranberry, and feta cheese. My daughter had the hot breakfast sandwich one morning and a cheese pizza on another day. Some comments may say it is pricey. But as someone who travels to SF yearly, the price of quick breakfast, salads, and sandwiches are fair.”
“Was pulled in by the robotics, I've seen similar vending machines in Vegas for cookie milk shots but hadn't tried coffee. Rest assured, the machine will give you quite a show that you can record on your cell phone. It took its time gently measuring ingredients before pouring them in the drink, and the prices were unsurprisingly below that of an actual coffee shop at the airport.
A minute or two later, when I went to grab the perfectly made drink, I made a critical error! I pulled it through the low-hanging plastic bar where beverages are served from and spilled half its contents. Me and a fellow traveler just looked at each other and fell out laughing. Technology, right?!”

Takeout Restaurants
“Absolutely fantastic.
Great quality, flavor, and good presentation on food. Highly recommend their salsa verde on just about anything. Superb. My favorite: Chilaquiles with ham, verde sauce. You won’t regret it.
Friendly, family feel staff, quick food, clean environment, atmosphere not too loud though when full it can get moderate.”
“The pastry from this place is out of this world!! If you are passing by and this store is open, just go in and invite yourself to the best Berliner ever!!! I can’t believe what I am eating right now that I am writing this review :))) the best part? The lady who works there is super kind!”
“As a midwesterner, a straight from the docks seafood place like this is a dream. Completely blew our modest budget there and am SO glad I did. Chowder wasn't new England or Manhattan style but unique and superb.
Despite the long list of great restaurants in SF, I probably return to Popi's on my next visit.”

“I ate here a few times while working in the area. This place has ruined ramen for me. I have yet to find anywhere that has ramen this good. Every time I have ramen I compare it to this place and it’s never as good.”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Absolutely delicious. Meats perfectly seasoned and juicy, brought me right back to Türkiye. That and the people- two regulars welcomed me in with open arms fo share a table with them. Go for the Ararat kebab plate- it has everything and is plenty food for 2 people. Excellent baklava to top the feast off. Wish I had saved space to try their soup, which just about every table had ordered. Next time.”
“Everything we ordered was good. In fact we couldn’t eat it all. Your pizza was so delish! Never had chow fun wrapped up in little rolls but it was pretty good. Your shaking beef salad was good too. Definitely a dining experience in Asian fusion!”
“I have been twice and so far everything has been delicious. I need to go back a few more times to try everything on the menu. Don't forget to save room for dessert. The cocktails are fantastic.”
“My friend, Mike, who lives nearby with his wife, raved about it so much that my BF and I decided to come after a short trip to Marin. It was everything that he described and more. It was fantastic! Fine Dining
“California-style Cantonese cuisine! I really like the decoration style here, which always makes me feel better when dining here. The golden lotus chandelier and the gold and silver wire lamp are definitely the best decoration! 👍The pastries here are also worth mentioning! Pineapple buns, wife cakes, black sesame banana cakes with miso sugar!”
“An incredible dining experience that is absolutely worth the high praise and accolades both locally and internationally. The wine pairing experience was phenomenal and absolutely worth it. Especially the Santa Barbara Kiln labeled Cabernet Franc. A highlight of the evening. Chef Carlos provided a very personal touch to the experience explaining each dish and requesting feedback. A dining experience that truly is one of a kind.”
“Updating my review to 5 stars on google maps (4.5 stars tho tbh because of the price/inconsistency of dishes), we had a great experience here recently. I think there are some dishes that are really standouts, and the others are a bit too expensive for how good they are. I would recommend amatriciana pizza, but more so the agnolotti pasta, really really good. Service was great, nice restaraunt”
“Valentine’s Day dinner, got sat 30 min early, which was nice. However the food and the experience was amazing, granted a restaurant of this caliber has its short comings when compared to the value. I will say the 4/5 plates we had were amazing and exceptional. Dessert ? Meh .”
“What a life changing meal. These photos are actually from over 2 years ago but I still think about this place regularly. I’ve had my fair share of renowned modern, refined korean food / Korean fine dining in NY and LA, and nothing quite elevates Korean food as authentically as SSAL.
This meal quite literally changed my life and showed me that fine dining can both be deeply comforting and beautifully refined at the same time.
Will probably travel to the bay just to dine here again at some point.”
“Tasting menu was tailored for the 4 vegetarians/pescatarians out of 5 in our group. Each item was very tasty and we enjoyed to the last bite. Servers were very professional and knew their stuff. Since we were there for our anniversary, we received a card from them which basically thanked us for making them part of our celebration. Classy touch!”

“I quit drinking before the judge ordered me to—how is that for initiative? Since that last call, no bar has captured my attention. Nor have I returned to any of the bars I enjoyed around here. I’m from the east coast—a pub near a rail station which draws a crowd free of pretense is proper nurture. Glen Park Station is welcoming, comfortable, fun, and built for a night done right.
There are non-alcoholic brews for those who abstain, shot-and-a-beer specials for $12.00, wine by the glass, and an indoor smoking lounge. A pinball machine which takes dollar bills. Darts. Superior bar stools. Table seating up front. A rear patio. No Apple Pay.The bar has neighboring businesses which serve food. One can find Vietnamese, Thai, and Mexican fare within a block. The bodega sits across from BART, on the same side of Diamond St. A pizza place is in proximity. This area has a low-key dominance about it. A great spot for socializing, a walkable pocket of the city wherein small businesses sling good eats, and you have the option to get hammered.
Parking is available in the public library lot after 6, 7, 8PM during the week. Street parking on the northbound lane of Bosworth between Arlington & Diamond is free in the evenings. I am not sure when the meters stop accepting payment-I pulled up at 7:30PM on a Monday.
To those behind the wheel—be advised—residential streets intersect as sharp turns become sudden hills. At all hours there are pedestrians, cyclists, and coyotes. SFPD often posts a patrol vehicle on Bosworth (south of the Arlington intersection) to eyeball the I-280 south on-ramp.”
“The pizza is splendiferous! It's truly the best pizza I've ever had. It's crunchy, good size and not greasy. The atmosphere is homey and friendly. The artwork and drawings on the walls adds to it. The cherry on top is the owner! He's passionate and friendly to all. The perfect place for lunch.”
“A very cozy place in the financial district. Even though we went on a weekend, there were still a lot of people working there. Their pour over coffee is reasonably priced and they also provide coffee beans in the shop. I like the paintings they have inside. The coffee also comes with a postcard telling us where the coffee beans come from and the history, which I think is very nice. If you like coffee, I recommend giving this place a try.”
“Great night at Casements during SF Carnaval’s Fat Tuesday Season Kickoff! Free live music, fantastic vibes, friendly staff and Pliny the Younger on tap. Our Finnish friend (a serious beer lover) called it the “holy grail of beers” and has been dreaming of trying it his whole life.”
“This place should have a line out the door every day. Incredible value. Excellent service. Delicious food. Warm and friendly staff. They greeted all their regulars by name like old friends. I can't wait to become a regular myself. I can't recommend enough. Coming back as often as I can.”
“I went on a Wednesday night and it was still busy! The vibes looked good but I wasn't going to wait for just myself so I ordered Togo. I got the little gem Caesar salad, vodka margherita pizza, and a cannoli! Honestly very pleasantly surprised with the flavors and textures of everything, I would say the only thing that was underwhelming was the cannoli honestly but with some chocolate glaze it's . Most unique pizza I've had a while and it's soo good it lasted for dinner and lunch the next day. Would definitely go again especially since for $50 you can easily eat comfortably for two!”
“The view is comfortable and the dishes are exquisite. It is highly recommended.”
“Definitely not your typical brunch. We loved the Filipino inspired creations. Don’t skip the French toast with caviar hollandaise, crumbled bacon, and shrimp. It’s AMAZING!”
“Amazing food, attentive and knowledgable service made for a memorable first night in San Francisco!!!!”
“A great way to experience a four course meal at an affordable price, with delicious food. We will definitely be back.”
“Excellent food! The prix fixed tasting menu was very generous and delicious. We were stuffed!”
“Nepa graciously accommodated our reservation of 15 mixed age revelers. The hospitality and service were top-notch, they allowed for special wines brought in with corkage, and helped pace the meal, which was served family style at our request. Loved the tikka masalas, the naan, chai - everything we ordered. We so appreciated all our gracious servers. We will be back.”
“If happiness were a restaurant, I’m pretty sure it would be called *That’s My Jam*. I came in expecting a nice meal and left questioning whether I should move a small bed into the corner and live there permanently.
First of all, the food? Absolutely incredible. Every bite felt like it was made by someone who genuinely cares about flavor, the quality of food they feed to others… and possibly about my emotional well-being. If you're lucky enough to chat with the chef or his wife, do so! You can tell they really put their heart and soul into every aspect of this establishment.
The vibe is warm, cozy, and the kind of place where you instantly relax. The staff were so friendly that by the end of the meal I felt like we were all part of a very delicious support group.
Final verdict: come hungry, bring friends, and prepare to fall in love with your meal. If you hear someone at the next table whispering “wow” between bites… that’s probably me again.
The only issue I have now is I doubt any other resturant will be able to provide my taste buds with the same magical expereince. I live in SJ but 10/10 would happily get jammed here anytime. 🍓✨
Not pictured is the chef special quiche - GET IT.”
“Do NOT enter the restaurant without standing in from of this sign at the tree. You must meet the person OUT FRONT FIRST. After that it's all is good. Service, food and beverage. Daily specials should always be considered first.”
“Truly authentic Calabrese style Italian cuisine takes us back to Nonna’s kitchen”
“Honestly, I was incredibly impressed by the pizza but also the array of (island themed??) cocktails. Our group shared a couple of pies that were both delicious. The Waikiki sneaky particularly did a great job balance spicy and sweet flavors while still tasty like pizza. The Jalisco punk was the standout amongst the drinks, but u left wanting to try a bunch more.
Recommend getting there early (before 7pm) on a weeknight as the line was out the door when we left.”
“Loved the decor and the vibe, great place to hang out with friends. The food was absolutely delicious! The flavors were spot on.If you're in the area, this place is a must-try!”
“Holy moly, this place was great! The food is tasty & beautifully served. The service was great & Hannah made terrific suggestions. Really well done!”
“We loved our long lunch at Zuni Cafe during a recent SF trip. We sat upstairs next to the window. The chicken & bread salad is amazing. The NA cocktails and NA wine are delicious, as were the alcoholic options. Service was lovely. Highly recommend if you have time to linger over a meal.”
“Exceptional fine dining experience! Attentive knowledgeable owner, chef, and staff. Amazing cocktails and well prepared French food.”
“Sublime French cuisine in an awesome location. Great “secret” spot in SF.”
“Loved our meal here! Both the wine and the food are excellent. We especially loved the toast made with their homemade bread and the clam bite. Absolutely delicious!”
“Smugglers cove is the cutest tiki bar! Beautiful decor
What a drink menu, it’s so good! Many cocktails to choose from and the bartenders are phenomenal. The drinks here are an art form and the presentation was excellent
Sat with our group in lower level it was pretty warm in there!
Must stop if you in the area!”
“Ordered birthday cake and it was divine. Cake was so moist and delicious. Customer service was fantastic too. Will definitely order again”
“Had San Francisco Cioppino (Mussels. Clams, Crab, Cod, Prawns, Scallops and Garlic Bread that was the bomb). Only giving 2 thumbs up as I only have 2. Great food, great service!”
“fantastic little restaurant - excellent wine list and great beef bourgogne”
“I must say i had high hopes but the meal was tasteless but my friends had too much salt. I wanted to like it. Wont return, wont recommend. ☹”
“My fiancé and I found your restaurant Saturday afternoon while sightseeing the city. We were so impressed with the atmosphere and hospitality. This place is the best for nice afternoon seafood lunch! Thank you so much for the delicious meal.”
“🌟 NOPA San Francisco: A Bucket List Culinary Triumph! 🌟 Review by: The Bucket List Coach Webshow. I recently had the distinct pleasure of crossing a major culinary destination off my bucket list: NOPA San Francisco. My dining experience on December 12, 2025, was not just a meal; it was an absolute masterclass in hospitality and farm-to-table excellence. Exceptional Service: A Shoutout to Zach! From the moment we sat down, the experience was elevated by our server, Zach. He truly went above and beyond, anticipating needs and offering spot-on recommendations, making the dining experience feel incredibly special and seamless. A massive shoutout to Zach, as well as the entire Culinary team, Management team, and staff—the level of coordination and passion was palpable. Appetizers and Beverages: Instant Classics The meal kicked off with the Date and Pear appetizer, which was absolutely fantastic—a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and texture. And for the beer lovers out there, you must try the Honey Beer 🍺. I'm officially adding this to my personal "Beer Bucket List!" I will absolutely be recommending it to all my followers on my podcast and through my travel agency. Thanks to Woods Beer and Wine Company! The Entrée: Perfection on a Plate For the main course, I opted for the Duck, and it was cooked to perfection. Seriously, melt in the mouth- tender meat was phenomenal. The plate presentation was stunning, far exceeding my expectations—it was a true work of art. The side of Grapefruit and Vinaigrette Salad was the perfect accompaniment. It was one of the best salads I have ever had in San Francisco; the brightness of the grapefruit cut through the richness of the duck beautifully. Desserts: Celebrating National Cocoa Day! To celebrate National Cocoa Day Dec. 13th-I couldn't resist. I highly suggest partaking in the Hot Chocolate for a decadent dessert item—it was rich, velvety, and a perfect holiday treat. And if you still have room, the Cheesecake with Brown Sugar is another truly fantastic dessert that offers a wonderful, comforting finish to the meal. NOPA is more than just a restaurant; it's a destination. The ambiance, the incredible staff like Zach, and the impeccable, thoughtful food quality solidify NOPA as a must-visit spot in San Francisco. It earns its place on any serious foodie's bucket list Cindy Lee Podcast Host at Bucket List Coach Web Show & Founder of Bucket List Coach Travel Tours”
“Best dining experience I’ve had since I moved here. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. My new favorite restaurant 💚💚💚”
“This restaurant is single handedly saving the reputation of one of SF most iconic dishes the ciopinno. This is the only one worth paying for in SF. its incredible”
“Love and thoughtfulness in every bite. The tasting menu will have you dreaming of sea beans and blackened cauliflower. Great cocktails, unique wine list and some must it bread round out a great night. Don't sleep on this place!”
“I cannot say I had a bad experience. Everything was my favorite”
“One of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco. Excellent food, especially the homemade charcuterie and cheese selection.
Also fantastic cocktails, and a great wine selection. The Morris never disappoints! PS Get the Chartreuse Slushy as an aperitif. 😉”
“Food was amazing! Great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff!”
“RT Rotisserie absolutely delivered. I had the half chicken and it was perfectly roasted and super juicy on the inside with beautifully crispy skin. The flavors were simple but executed flawlessly. And the chipotle yogurt sauce? Next level. Creamy, smoky, with just the right kick of heat and it elevated every single bite. This is comfort food done right, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.”
“Loved everything about La Ciccia. The food was delicious and unique. The owner is so welcoming and warm and the staff were also delightful. Overall, a wonderful evening celebrating my Aunt's birthday.”
“Fantastic food - reasonably priced and great service! Tasha was amazing!”
“Been here a few times in the last few weeks to make sure it was worth the hype and it definitely is. I've tried a bunch of different things on their menu and nothing has disappointed.”
“Excellent food and service. My friends from NYC enjoyed their dinners as well. Will definitely be back!”
“Loved this hidden gem- great beers, chill vibe, and tasty pizza. They have a happy hour and cheap slices on tuesdays! Parking is challenging, but it is in the city, so… Seems family friendly, with lots of families getting pizza and beer!”
“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I am a business owner a few doors down and I wandered in with a friend after work one night about a month ago. We were met with such incredible warmth from the staff and the environment itself, even without a reservation. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Josh, only to find out later that he is the owner. He made excellent recommendations on everything from our drinks to dessert. The bar didn’t feel isolated from the rest of the restaurant and guests, but rather was lively hub frequented by kitchen and serving staff and warmed by a smoldering wood fire. The coziest. We swooned for the poke appetizer, complete with house-made toasted, but not crisp, blue corn tortillas. The pork shoulder tacos—also to die for. I have to say though, that the star on the sidelines was the beans. I honestly didn’t know I could feel this way about beans…but I digress. Josh bounced around from table to table all night, never letting a single ball drop, making every guest feel like *his* guest. A pot de crème sealed the evening in perfect bliss. I’m back a month later with the same friend, eating different and somehow even more incredible entrees: ribeye, halibut and a rhubarb crisp for dessert. I scarcely ever take the time to write a review as I prefer to vote with my $ and my feet, but I simply couldn’t eat here again without taking the time to sing it’s praises. Eat here.”
“Watermelon 🍉 Roll; no rice, refreshingly good Fried seafood chips appetizer; I wanted it as a meal it’s a different yum 😋 Ice cream sandwich wow!”
“Valentine’s Day dinner, got sat 30 min early, which was nice. However the food and the experience was amazing, granted a restaurant of this caliber has its short comings when compared to the value. I will say the 4/5 plates we had were amazing and exceptional. Dessert ? Meh .”
“What a great place, a hidden jewel in the city! Fresh fish, fresh chips and guacamole… Everything was perfect! DELICIOUS❣️ We will return…”
“Came by for brunch on Sunday and tried their breakfast flatbread, and it blew me away. The vibe is super chill, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend brunch here instead of Plow.”

“This place was one of the best highlights of our trip!! Real Italian food. The owners were real gentlemen. The way that they worked that restaurant was amazing. I was amazed by their food and service, both authentic. My friend and I had the best time. We would go again and again!”
“First this is a great mom and pop restaurant, good portions, lot of variety. Second, reading reviews, don't you think it a bit suspicious when exact same review word for word with different people even months or a few years apart? Some of the review is ok but the one about being next door to the Hilton is not here.”
“Hands down our favorite go-to restaurant when we are in the city going out to dinner, or when we are looking to take out-of-towners someplace truly unique, or when we are looking to bring the most delicious dinner home. The seafood is as fresh and high quality as it gets, served in the most unique way. Start with the chowder, packed with a wide variety of shellfish, spiced just right with a little kick to it, neither New England nor Manhattan, they have invented a new broth that is both rich and flavorful while being light. The Scallops are a must try. They simply melt in your mouth with a burst of complex flavors. The small plate tostadas meld flavors and textures you just can’t find anywhere else. Although it is located on Divisadero in a multi-block long string of restaurants, the atmosphere inside has the feel of the most comfortable neighborhood bistro. Impecable service all at a very reasonable price for the quality and the creativity and joy the food will bring to your palate.”

“A lovely and peaceful Japanese garden tucked away in San Jose. The landscaping is beautiful and well maintained, with koi ponds and traditional elements that make it a great spot to relax. It is on the smaller side, so the visit doesn’t take very long, but it’s still worth stopping by if you’re in the area.”
“First time at this restaurant- we have been to RH Rooftop Marin before. We had a reservation for 2 people and showed up a few min early. The hostess who helped us (there were 2 other hosts walking back and forth) was neutral, not warm or friendly. She asked us to wait in the waiting area for our table (empty except for a couple having drinks there from the bar). We waited for about 10 min, and noticed a party of 2 walked up and were seated right away. When another party of 2 did the same, my husband went up to ask how long our wait would be, and she said she could seat us. She brought us to a table immediately behind the hostess podium (which had been empty since we got there). I asked if there was another table available (I wanted to feel more like I was inside the restaurant) and her body language clearly showed that she was annoyed- shoulders slumped, sighed - and she brought us to another table. The restaurant was much louder than I expected, which made it seem less elegant than the photos showed when I booked. Our waiter was professional and nice, and we appreciated that. The food was mostly excellent- especially the Hamachi caviar carpaccio- amazing! My husband's Chilean sea bass was overcooked and rubbery. The Delice de Bourgogne board was fantastic (we've had this in the Marin restaurant). I don't know that I would come here again for a special dinner- I might come just for a casual meal. I did feel overdressed, as I tried following the dress code, but saw people in tennis shoes and athleisure clothes. There were a few people dressed up (large table for a birthday, etc) but if we go there again, I will definitely dress down. Overall, the food and service at our table were great, but the ambiance and service at the host stand were not. I really wanted to love this restaurant, but in my experience it did not live up to the beautiful photos online.”

“Progeny Coffee is an excellent café with high-quality, expertly brewed coffee and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The flavors are rich and well-balanced, and the care put into each cup really shows. The staff is friendly and attentive, making it a great place to relax, work, or meet with friends. Highly recommended for coffee lovers.”
“An elevated liquor store that sells delicious Mexican food. Come here for tacos, quesadillas, even coffee and ice cream (depending on the day/time). I’ve been here now a few times and the owners are so down to earth & nice. Take some food to cook up at home too. This is the spot for some home handmade tortillas! Deliciosa!”
“Stumbled across this place on my way to the park. The barista taking my order was super friendly and I ordered a toast with egg and an iced coffee. The tonka iced latte was so good I CHUGGED it before my food even came out. I look forward to coming back and trying more of their menu items”
“Yuca fries and mushroom skewer were delicious. Cauliflower entree was a big portion size but sikil pal was salty and somewhat bland. Pumpkin soup was fine but spicy due to the chili flakes on top. Mocktail was delicious and super refreshing, tasted like a green juice with celery. All vegan menu, was able to get full on all of the gluten free items.”
“tried the sukiyaki hotpot the first time I went, and man the quality of the meat is amazing. the presentation's great and so well-balanced. this time around, i got the gyudon which was good, the strawberry matcha with oat milk was expertly made! it had no graininess or any of that powdery taste. maybe skip the fried squid... it was def on the tougher side. overall, everything was cool. it was probably my favorite dining experience in SF so far! 🤓☝️(the first time I went, they were playing TWICE the entire time and it gave me the full #bayarea #asian experience LMAO)”
“We went straight here after getting into town and were highly satisfied! We arrived around 8:20 in the morning on a Saturday and there was a small line out the door. However, that line moved quickly and was efficient. The staff quickly greeted us and took our order and everything looked amazing. We settled on the ham and cheese croissant and then I got a vanilla latte. The ham and cheese croissant was good but be ready for it to be extremely flaky and get everywhere. The latte was good as well. Our main disappointment is the lack of seating. There is a bar top inside, but no seats, and only 4-5 tables outside. So if it got any busier (which it started to as we were there), you have no seat. It was also very pricey, ~$60 for the three of us.”
“very cute dessert shop in a bustling area! me and my friends went in for the crepe cakes and drinks and it was a nice place to sit down and talk to friends. i will say that their prices are a bit on the pricy end for crepe cakes ($12 for one piece), but ended up being more filling than we expected
for our drinks, we recommend the passionfruit refresher the most. it zaps you a bit with it’s fizziness and is tasty. the pineapple guava paradise was okay, and we didn’t really like the thai tea w/ lemonade.
for cakes, we recommend the pandan coconut mille crepe cake. very flavorful and yummy! the tiramisu is standard tiramisu and i had looked forward to the earl grey, but it was the least flavorful of them all and very light in flavor.
the atmosphere is very nice as you can be seated near the window, inside, or at their outside garden & it’s nice for pictures! overall, would recommend but would probably try out some other cafes next time”
“Probably the best sandwich spot in San Francisco. I have been coming here for about 3 years now, never has let me down. I’ve tried many sandwiches and all of them are absolutely phenomenal. The owners are all great people, service is great, don’t have one bad thing to say.
My top 3 sandwiches: philly cheesesteak, chicken caesar wrap, and the chipotle turkey.
Pro tip: make it spicy, adds chili peppers and a bit of a kick. Delicious”
