“Everything was amazing from the service to the food and sushi and the environment is unassuming and comfortable. Top notch!”
“Must get sushi, but don’t forget the corn tempura and momotaro tomato (seasonal). Awesome sake selection too.”
“Always exquisitely delicious. You can always explore the menu and the kitchen always delivers sumptuous meals. Come with 2 or four it's not to be missed. This is why we love sushi in Los Angeles!”
“Easily one of the very best sushi places I have been to here or in Japan. We went for a birthday dinner and chose the Omakase (option 2). It was an incredibly well balanced meal including many of our favorites. The quality is just perfect. Temperature, freshness, taste, everything from the fish to the rice, toppings and soy sauce.
The service is super good, such a friendly staff. chefs and owner. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back.”

“I visited AVI CUE recently and was genuinely impressed by everything — from the food to the atmosphere and service. I tried the Wagyu Shawarma Sandwich, and it was next-level delicious. The beef was incredibly tender, perfectly spiced, and paired beautifully with the fresh veggies, tahini, and amba sauce in a soft, warm pita. It’s rich, flavorful, and absolutely worth the hype.”
“Gisele was really amazing. She was really sweet and very patient and she understood how to teach us about the food for our first time here.
Parking: Awesome”

“Ooh, what a lively place. It is a packed place even on a late Thursday morning, but the food is quite good.
I had the avocado toast with two poached eggs and it was tasty. I added a sprinkle of pepper and it was set to go. Definitely interested in trying the rest of their menu.
Cold brew was also nice although not too memorable.”
“I have eaten at Flavor of India several times and did so very recently with a friend. This place has amazing food and service! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything is excellent and I strongly recommend them. The atmosphere is great too!”
“A must-visit spot with an entirely vegan menu bursting with flavor. The Truffle Mac 'n' Cheese is unreal—creamy and rich enough to question its vegan status (confirmed by the owner!). Standouts include Spicy Garlic Ramen, Smoked Chili Ramen, and addictive Avocado Crispy Rice. Sushi rolls and sides like Japanese curry shine too. Cozy ambiance, quick service, and bold dishes make it worth the hunt in the unassuming plaza. Minor tofu texture quirks are forgiven for the explosive flavors. Pricey but worth every bite! 🌱✨ Updated from previous review on 2025-08-05”

“Everything here was perfect. The food was delicious (albeit a HUGE pizza that took two sittings to get through)
Alessandra provided fantastic service, she was so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great, we sat outside on the patio, it was beautifully lit with lovely music playing. Couldn’t fault this restaurant for a single thing, we loved it!”
“Stopped in here today and glad we did. This is a very comfortable open air patio restaurant with outstanding food.
My wife had the chicken kabob plate and I had the beef plate. They were very tasty. Even the rice was very flavorful. My favorite was the beef shish kabob. It was tender with really good flavor.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Overall a great experience!”
“Every time I come to Rocco’s I’m met with a smile and a warm greeting, along with great service and comforting drinks/food. I’ve interacted with a few of the team over the time I’ve been here, including Nick, Nate, Bridgette, Manny, George, Cassie and Candace. If you’re fortunate enough to be served by any of these kind souls, consider yourself lucky. Also, the layout of the space is perfect for watching any sports game, date night, or even a solo drink before hitting the next spot. If you haven’t spent time in Rocco’s are you even alive in LA?”
“Definitely a go to place for comfort food! It was my first time to go here with my girlfriends and their happy hour is worth it! Since then I kept coming back or order delivery. My favorite is the gyro combo with some sweet potato waffle fries. Don't forget the garlic aoli sauce (thank me later ;D)”
“I stopped in to try the coffee and check out the shop. The coffee itself was good and they had some decent food options. The atmosphere is nice, nothing too over the top. Lot of folks on their laptops, but not overly crowded. The employees were super friendly and courteous.
Overall a good experience.”
“Can someone please answer the sunset blvd location’s phone ? I need to make an adjustment to an acai bowl placed with DoorDash before it gets made.
edit: Whata Peach personally reached out & made everything right. I do truly appreciate it & highly recommend to order in person instead of using doordash.
The food & drinks were still extremely yummy & the additional effort from Whata peach made this company climb higher on my list of places to visit while in LA. Thank you 🍑”
“Been on my list forever and did not disappoint! The decor and environment were very charming. Quick service and all of our food was delicious. Love a miso soup (nailed it), the chicken/tofu meatballs were slightly sweet and filling, the crispy tuna rice starters were huge and had the perfect crunch. All the fish we tried was perfection, melted in your mouth good. Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend for a lunch or dinner.”
“Excellent quality sushi with a small, Reasonably priced menu! Great, fast service, in a laid back atmosphere.
There’s only Valet or street parking, so plan accordingly.”
“The Rendition Room is hands down my favorite spot in LA. From the moment you step through the hidden bookshelf door, it’s like you’ve been transported back to the 1930s…intimate, cozy, and just the right amount of mystery. But what really makes this place shine is Richy. He’s not just a bartender; he’s a mixologist in every sense of the word. Every drink he makes feels like it’s been crafted just for you. Beyond that, Richy’s warmth and sincerity are what truly set him apart. You’re not just another customer to him…he makes you feel welcome, like an old friend, every time you stop by. The Rendition Room nails it when it comes to atmosphere, cocktails, and overall vibe. Whether you’re celebrating something big or just want a cool night out, this is the place. It’s a hidden gem that never disappoints.”
“Leo is the best chef. So kind, personable, and knows his sushi. He makes just about everything from his ginger to his soy sauce from scratch even though he’ll tell you, “no soy sauce” for most of the sushi that comes as it should be eaten. Best sushi restaurant on Ventura Blvd by far. Make sure to try his dry aged fish!
Parking: There are a few spots behind the restaurant.”

“Very nice place. The food was good, atmosphere was good, although the number of booths was limited with the remainder being hard seats. They did have a good beer selection. Although one of my beers was sour, but they replaced it with no issue. Overall I would return”
“Waiter was extremely rude. It was my birthday and she treated us horribly. To top it all off at the end she brought out the double chocolate cake with ice cream with NO candle. We asked her for the candle immediately and it took her over 15 minutes to bring the candle for us. The ice cream was completely melted by the time she brought the candle. Utterly rude and disrespectful. Never will be back. I hope the management sees this message and fixes their waiters attitudes.”

“are you kidding? The Best!”
“I love Kreation! And this location is near my place, so naturally my favorite haha. The team is always welcoming, knowledgeable of the menu, and wanting to help in any way. The food and drinks are so healthy yet yummy. If you are looking to cleanse and take the healthier route in life, Kreation is an amazing lifestyle change! Also, they do take some bottle deposits. Thank you Kreation!”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“My Mother’s Day (party day) order included 5 dozen mini cupcakes, 2 cakes, and some whoopie pies! I got home and realized my order was missing a dozen red velvet cupcakes. I called the studio city location for a refund on those since I had no time to go back to the bakery before the party (please open a location in Santa Clarita @susiesarich 😂). Instead, they same day delivered my cupcakes PLUS sent additional cookies and Mother’s Day treats for no additional cost to me😭❤️ I was SO amazed by the gracious customer service. I’ve been celebrating with Susie for over a decade and I will never leave- especially now! Thank you Susie and @susiecakesbakery for your delicious treats and valuing your customers so much💗”
“Sun Cafe has a wonderful all vegan menu. Their patio is dog friendly (pets too). Service is a little slow when they get busy but food is cooked to order, I believe. Parking is available on the street nearby if the restaurant parking is full.”

“This is my favorite place for an amazing price chinese food. The people are always so nice and the food is hot and fresh. Today I had the garlic shrimp. Amazing! I plan on trying every item on lunch menu. By the way, did I mention I drive an hour away to eat here? Parking is hard but if you can't find parking in the lot, try the street. Well worth it!”
“This was my first visit with Philz coffee. I cannot rave enough about it! Outstanding customer service! I let them know that it was my first visit. How the ordering process worked was explained I selected the Chia Tea, such amazing notes and crafted to my expectations. I was asked to sample the taste before placing my lid. Calm and peaceful ambiance along with a clean well kept store. They also support local artists and I love it!!! Check them out!”
“Good food, nice vibe, cool crowd. Very friendly and attentive service for Brunch on a very rainy day.”
“The Brazino was amazing 🤩. Great service, salad and appetizer.”
“Wonderful service and very creative cuisine. The design is superb. Very upscale casual chic. Our server was so attentive and went over the top to take care of us. She did not want us to sit in the sun while we had brunch”
“Had a pasta and pizza and they were both amazing. We are from Australia and found it hard to find a good restaurant in the Marina bay sands area and this did not disappoint. 5 stars”

“Hi there, it’s Alfie the mini Dachshund again! ? I recently had brunch at Jax’s Studio City, and let me tell you, the food was almost as good as a nice belly rub!
First up, the Meat Lovers Burrito! Yum, it was packed with all the good stuff—meaty, savory, and filling. I’d give it a solid 8/10. Then came the Classic Egg Sandwich… let’s just say the garlic aioli made it delicious! Every bite had me wagging my tail in excitement.
Now, as much as I liked the food, the service was a bit ruff-ruff ?. It seemed like they might have been short-staffed(and I know short) and oddly enough, they asked everyone to provide a card to eat. Not sure what that was about! But other than that, everything was still pretty pawsome.
So, if you’re in the mood for a tasty breakfast, Jax’s won’t let you down on food, but just be ready for a little wait. ?
Also the price was $100 for 2 so get ready.
Cheers,
Alfie ?
Parking: Parking was difficult to find in the street and metered only.”
“Prince street Pizza was the best pizza spot I found during my time in Studio city. It’s the perfect combination between a walk in pizza spot and a spot that delivers on top notch pizza. The staff was super friendly and the inside was clean. I will be back thanks! Definitely worth hitting if you are in the area.”

“Cool dicey bar feel with great drinks and fabulous bartenders! Loved it when it was Oyster Bar, and still loving it as Oy bar!!!”
