Phenomenal food with wonderful staff and service. Cocktails were delicious. The plate of nachos was gigantic and we ended up going straight to dessert after. There was definitely magic in the flan instead of eggs -- it was delicious. The raspberry cheesecake was also fantastic.
Just so wonderful. I can't say enough great things about this place. The sever was so nice and welcoming and even gave us some complementary margaritas by the end of the night. I will recommend this to all my friends... I'm not even a vegan and I loved the food!!! Awesome mezcal too
Rather impressive for an unassuming vegan taco joint. All of their cocktails are made with fresh squeezed juice, and can easily be made as mocktails. My lunch was tasty and filling, with flavors that were new (house-made charcoal hot sauce?) and recognizable like lime and chiles. Their bathroom has saloon style doors, which a little complicated, is really fun. The service was welcoming and attentive.
New spot that just opened up recently in an up and coming neighborhood. It not exactly clear whether this is vegetarian from the menu, they have "chorizo" in a couple things. It is though, it's vegan - anything that traditionally resembles meat or dairy is apparently made from alternatives. The decor and ambience is great here, they did an excellent job renovating. They presentation of food is obviously carefully done and looks great. The only reason I gives it 4 stars is that I didn't love the food. It might just be that I'm not as used to eating vegan. I got a veggie burger and it was dry and fiber-y, also fairly spicy. I have definitely had much better veggie burgers in my day. That being said it's definitely worth a shot, especially if you are vegetarian/vegan, just maybe get something other than the veggie burger hah.
Love love love love The food was too good! We love their sister company Gelso and Grand and are happy they have another company!

This place is super small, think living room sized, but it's very cute and colorful and has a nicely stocked bar. Service was good and extremely friendly albeit a tad slow for such a small place. Prices are a little high for Mexican but fair for Manhattan. My hangar steak was petite and a little chewy, nachos were good but not as good as some of the other reviews might have you believe. My daughter's quesadilla had what was maybe squishy olives inside, not sure. She didn't like it. And a side of rice was $5, a little pricey for a small plate of rice. Service and ambience 4 stars, food 3 stars. Crowd was trendy 20-somethings.
REALLY delicious food and drinks. Friendly staff and service. Funky ambiance. It's very small so you'll want to make a reservation. The nachos and guacamole are must-eats; the mayan is a must-drink!! I'm definitely coming back.
Really small place so come with a small group or prepare to wait. Cute decor. Well-mixed drinks. Happy Hour on weekends! Really liked the fish tacos (super crispy). Chips are fresh.
I never thought I would say that we had the best mexican food in NY, but we did! We saw the 100+ reviews of 4.7 stars and thought it would be pretty good. It was actually so good we went back the next night. We have never doubled up with the same reataurant in NYC but this time we did. The braised short rib tacos, shrimp enchiladas, chicken mole and succotash were all amazing! So was the Oaxaca Express cocktail! We will go there again for sure next time we are in town.
Everything about this restaurant was great except for the fish tacos which I found average. Try the Mayan cocktail and the nachos. I recommend adding guac, game changer. Staff were supper friendly. I would definitely go back.

No frill food. The food was good, fast service, and good prices. Tiny place but had decent space to sit. No bathroom though. If you prefer simple good food this is the place. Don't expect a lot of flavor but they do have a lot of hot sauces to accompany you.
My friend and I decided to stop in here on a whim after a day of shopping and running errands and I'm so glad that we did! I had heard that this place had some amazing food and we were blown away! When we first got there, we were warmly greeted by the staff and were offered suggestions on different foods to try as we had never been there before. The restaurant may not be much to look at, but trust me, the food definitely makes up for it! I ordered burger and so did my friend. It was made to perfection. It was juicy, came out piping hot and was more than enough food! Make sure you come with an empty stomach before you get here. You'll definitely need it!
Pretty nice restaurant that's not too overly fancy and pricey. The tacos are quite good, quality is on par with Chipotle. Service is good. Burger is not the best but definitely one of the better ones in this price range. Will be back when I'm looking for something else other than Chinese food.
Tacos are not authentic. Also green sauce had no flavor, need to put some flavor in it. Breakroom fries was a joke. Once we got it, it was soggy and we stayed to eat..not like we took it to go. Need to stick to only burgers and classically fries.
Been meaning to review this place, but this is simply the best burger place yet in California. Not only is the burger well cooked, the bun and topping are all fresh. The burger is a great size and worth the price, ranging from 7.99 to 10 depending. My favorite is the Bela Burger, which is a Hawaiian themed burger complete with a slice of pineapple. But that's not all, their shakes are AMAZING, which you think of when going to a burger place. With many flavors from cheesecake to peanut butter and many more. And lastly they always carry a side of pickles on the counter, I don't know whether or not if it's Dill or sliced anymore, but either way these are AMAZING.Overall, Pearl's is a standout and one of my top 3 Recommended food stops.

Went here last night for the first time. I really liked this place. The decor and ambience were awesome and, for a Saturday night, it had a very chill atmosphere which can be hard to find in this area. Most bars are packed on the weekends. I only had a plate of chips and dip but it was really nice, I'll have to go back and check out the rest of the food. Their custom cocktails were really nice as well. I definitely recommend checking this place out for a low key drink and some bites in the area.
This cute little restaurant in Chinatown is a nice addition from all the Chinese restaurant. I know it is Chinatown but who said you couldn't have some variety even there. The friendly and casual place is good to relax and good food. Generally, the portions are tapas size and meant to be shared but I would say each portion really only feeds 2 people. So far everything I've tried has been very good and the dishes are solid that comes out of the kitchen. As any tapas place price tag can add up quickly if you come hungry so either have something light before or order the coconut rice which is good but filling to curb the ordering.
Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great drink selection and fresh foods! Definitely going back.
The food was great and the staff was fantastic. Recommended
Amazing little Mexican joint in Chinatown. And that's coming from a native Californian. It's not too big a space and I imagine there's a wait later in the evening. Try the punch.

Average place, but not for the average Joe if you're hungry. Great food but kinda pricey. It's a good place to go for dinner with friends. It's always pretty much full but has upstairs seating. Nice view downstairs, Windows are kept open on cool days, who doesn't like fresh air with their food. Recommended overall, good homey food with friendly attentive service.
Great menu, varied selection. We ordered the fried brussel sprouts, sweet plantains, and a taco plate. All of it was excellent. The tacos were extremely authentic. Great service as well. Highly recommend.
Food was great but it was WAY TOO PRICY for what it is. $15 for a plate of huevos rancheros, $14 for ONE CUP of guacamole, and it wasn't even that good!! There are SO MANY other Mexican restaurants in NYC with better food at a better price, so I recommend giving this place a pass
Beuna Yerba where are you??? Went because we loved the food on Greenwich Avenue Allegedly Yerba's food (and chef) is at this Toloache location now. Dried out over cooked chicken and the worst Mexican street style corn on the cob. Mushy and dried out at the same time. . The staff were oblivious to all the leftover food on our plates.
The corn and truffle quesadilla was delicious and the drinks were solid! A bit expensive for Mexican food, but the options are tasty and service is friendly. Worth a visit!
