“My daughter graduated college and this was her choice for a family dinner after such a long day! Such an amazing experience. From the second we arrived until we left service was excellent. Thai food was delicious and the cocktails were unique and highly recommended. We had a decent size party and they accommodated us comfortably and every one of us enjoyed our meals.”

“We went the other day with family, and it's not enough to say we were completely blown away by how good this restaurant was! The service was incredibly warm and helpful, and the Thai BBQ was a truly tasty and fun experience. They serve meat and can also make soup – it was a really fun and delicious experience!”
“Best food! My husband and I tried this place once, and from that day on, it became one of our favorite spots. We keep coming back because the food is always fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The staff are also very kind and welcoming.
If it's your first visit, I highly recommend trying the combo over salad with white sauce and a little red sauce. In shaa Allah, you'll love it!”
“June 26, 2022. Walked to get our order of a Lamb wrap, chicken wrap and fries. First time there and a welcome place to the neighborhood. The staff are friendly, the place is new and clean and most important the food is very good. Will return many times. Check it out.”
“The food and service here are amazing. I can confidently say that I’ve never had a bad experience coming here. The food is great, the drinks are great, and everything is reasonably priced.
I highly recommend the huevos con chorizo if you come to brunch here. Shout out to the waitress and bartender that were serving me & my wife during the Norway vs England game. They were very attentive and friendly while we were watching the games (didn’t catch their names unfortunately).”
“I definitely recommend this restaurant! The food was excellent and our server Saul was exceptional. Great portions and a family-friendly dining experience. We will return next time we visit NYC. 👌🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“In my opinion, this is the best Indonesian Restaurant in the U.S. Most Indonesian restaurants in the U.S. taste are unauthentic, which leads to an unauthentic experience. This place definitely had its ingredients set for a memorable experience we will never forget. This place is definitely worth visiting over and over again as it has some of the best Indonesian food you can get in the U.S.”
“Delicious and affordable skewers. It takes a while for them to cook the skewers if you order in person but it is possible to contact them ahead of time for pickup. They have a few stools and a table set up if you want to sit and eat, however seating is very limited. Lamb is the best meat option for the skewers as it has the perfect amount of fatty bits that melt in your mouth. The meat is cooked to perfection and every bite is pleasant. Also, do not sleep on their vegetarian options either! I highly recommend the mushroom skewers. It is a line of emoki mushrooms with an addictive sweet and savory sauce. Best to get your order spicy! I find it to be not very spicy at all, just a light peppery tingle.”
“Black truffle fried rice and pan-fried vegetable dumplings were so delicious!, Owner and server were so kind and friendly, and owner (probably 🤔, every time I visit he does every duty lol) might cooked for us as well and wished our dinner pleasantly. Great quality and quantity with affordable prices! 💖🍽”
“Selection was amazing! Waitresses are very attentive. They keep your water cup filled. I went on a Saturday evening so the price was $38.99. A little pricey for all you can eat sushi. I called first and was told that it was $28.99, which informed my decision to go. But when I got there the sign said $38.99! ,"Oh well, we already traveled here, I could've sworn she said $28.." "What's an extra 20 bucks" Overall the food was amazingly prepared.”
“If you guys are interested in a very great Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich for breakfast, NEJ Josefina’s is the best place to visit. $6.00 for a sandwich like this is not bad at all.
As a resident in the Elmhurst neighborhood, my family and I have been fighting a lot to find a great location for breakfast and lunch. Until my family members told us about this place telling me that their Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwiches are really good. In the block by where I live, there is a deli close to the Elmhurst Avenue Subway Station, and their sandwiches aren’t that great. According to a store employee, she told us that a breakfast sandwich like this costs you $8.00 each. And when she told us that, that’s when we said no. Not because we’re not interested, it’s because their sandwiches aren’t too great.
In my personal experience, I’ve tried their Carne Asada Quesadilla Combo. I have to say, they are so good. I like the fact that they not only make you a quesadilla, but they also include rice and beans and a canned soda priced at $12.79. A little bit expensive but it’s worth it. I still recommend this place. But the only thing that is not great is that the space is so small that you can’t even go through if you need to grab other things to buy while your food is being prepared.
I would definitely recommend coming to this place.”
“I’ve been to every Thai restaurant in Elmhurst, and this place takes the crown. My boyfriend and I come here every weekend because the food is incredibly authentic. Their Saturday $6 boat noodles are absolutely amazing, and the papaya salad actually tastes traditional (so hard to find around here!). The staff are also amazing people. Highly recommend!”
“This shop has gradually grown in size. The cakes here are really delicious. I have been here several times and bought more than 30 dollars of desserts every time. Now they also add milk tea, which is really delicious. There are also meals Yes, but I haven’t tried it. I will try it again when I have time.”
“this was my first time eating at Nangma and I enjoyed my experience. The workers were very attentive and handled our food with care. The crispy mala fish was one of my favorite dish there. I would definitely be returning to this restaurant.”
“I like this place. Food was good not that amazing but they are actually good. The servers too slow for small place like that, I ordered Thai Ice Tea never come out but they put on the bill, i told them about it, they readjusted the bill.
Ordered two desserts. Black bean with sticky rice and i dont know whats they called it this tiny bites colorful shaped with mung bean inside. The black bean with sticky rice was so good. Might be too sweet for most people, I recommend to share, bcos it will be too much and too sweet for yourself. The tiny colorful bites with mung bean inside, eeuwwwww. BIG NO. It has this fragrance taste like toilet freshener. I cant.”

“Long-time customer, but first time writing a review. This halal cart is my go-to for chicken over rice because of the customer service and the cost. It's much cheaper than other carts, and the guys here are always so friendly and remember my order. I always recommend this place to my friends.”
“The sandwiches are great and more than anything they have amazing customer support. I made a mistake when ordering one time online and ordered from this subway when I was over an hour away I came back in two days and they were able to provide me with the food I initially ordered that I never picked up, the food is always great. They work fast and I appreciate it.”
“One of the few sanctuaries of culture and non commercial world music. Viva Terraza!”
“boomer was the sweetest waiter ever whenever i needed something he was right there,he made us feel very welcome and talked to us like a friend. He fixed any problems we had and didn’t have any problem with it he was such a good waiter”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **John's Pizza in Elmhurst, Queens is the REAL DEAL.** If you want authentic New York pizza, stop what you're doing and go here. The crust is thin — and I mean *perfectly* thin, the way it's supposed to be. The sauce is delicious, the cheese is real, and every bite reminds you why NYC pizza is in a class of its own. But what truly blew me away was meeting **Susan**, the owner. Her parents opened this pizzeria back in the **1960s**, and she is still there, carrying on that legacy with so much pride and love. I watched her make my pizza right in front of me — this is a woman who genuinely cares about what she puts out. That kind of dedication is rare. We talked for a while about how much the neighborhood has changed over the years, and she still works hard to keep her prices as low as possible for the community. That says everything about who she is. Susan, you are a gem. Queens is lucky to have you. 🍕 I'm already planning my next visit — every time I'm in the area, I'm stopping by. Highest recommendation possible. Don't sleep on John's Pizza!”

“Southeast Asian coffee tends to be overly sweet or intensely bitter, but the flavor here was perfectly balanced. The food was delicious, too—the curry, in particular, was amazing. However, I couldn't eat the roasted pork because it had a slightly off-putting, gamey taste; then again, I might just be sensitive to such things.”
“Best strawberry shortcake ever.. hands down. It’s so fresh, light, and absolutely delicious. I’m completely hooked on it. And I buy it every year for my daughter .. nicely decorated. Jack is wonderful.
Yes this nice little spot with great prices, and everything tastes homemade in the best way. It’s also cash only, so come prepared.. but it’s 100% worth it for how good everything is.”
“So in-love with their ube cake! Must if you really want to get a good ube cake! Location: It is located along Queens Boulevard. The store was typical bakery, few seatings inside. Good display of breads, cakes and items from the Philippines. Service: not much interaction cause I just bought cake and go. Food: UBE CAKE: omg it is so good! The cake itself is moist even few days after I purchase! The frosting is like cream type, its a bit a lot but it taste good because it taste ube as well. Unlike other ube cakes that the cream does not taste ube! I almost eat half of the cake because it is so good! Price rating: 7/10, $45 for a round cake. Thats the usual price now for more stores! Definitely will come back here I will try their other flavors! But get the ube cake!!”
“Queens has their fair share of Filipino restaurants but we are truly glad we stumbled into this one! Once you walk in, you feel like you’ve walked into someone’s home, it was very cozy! The menu highlight was the sisig, probably one of the best ones I’ve had and prefer, which is a more traditional style. It was perfectly cooked and the flavors and textures married very well. Would definitely recommend !”
“The food was delicious and made fresh and the staff was so friendly and attentive. My son who has autism loves to talk to people and he was so happy to show off his hulk toy and the staff was so friendly and patient with him. I will definitely come back here again. The place was also very clean.”

“Got a chorizo burrito and it was pretty good. The flavor was pretty good. It wasn’t too salty. The burrito was grilled on top of cheese and then wrapped with the fillings. The plating was great even for takeout. The green sauce was spicy and delicious.
The restaurant was clean. The music was a bit loud. The server was very friendly.”
“Definitely one of my top cafes. This cafe shop is underrated for the area. Great for studying/remote work. It has a nice Tibetan asthetic and the customer service is probably the friendliest I have seen. They have coffee, lasses, boba drinks and an entire menu of Tibetan dishes like momos. They've got small appetizers like French fries too. Bathroom and AC is excellent.”
“I come here all the time with my girlfriend and the food’s always great and the staff friendly. Im really fond of the paninis particularly the steak sandwhich though my favorite dish in general is the Calentado. The pastries make me nostalgic for Colombia as does the coffee. It’s a small Colombian enclave in the middle of queens”
“Great Shish kebabs for insanely good prices. Most $2, some 2.50-$3.00
Cash only, no cards but she does take Zelle.
Sweet couple, extremely nice.
You're going to want to eat a minimum of 4, but if your hungry easy to eat 8 🤣
Its an outside food cart with limited street seating, but these guys were open at 10pm when it was 27° the other night and they still had a line of people. Absolutely worth every cent.
The lamb was odee slamming, the beef was great. They're all good really, but my fave was the fish balls with the spicy seasoning. Give it a try!”
“Great little bakery in Elmhurst. I do believe it a bit underrated. I actually prefer to come here than any other bakery around the neighborhood. Some of their bread are more unique than other places, and love the bread that is in packs, great for breakfast and the price is also fair. The egg they use for one of the egg ham bread is actual fried egg, unlike other bakeries they start to have eggs like the egg from mcd, some artificial look thing.”
“Came with my boyfriend whos been here multiple times and said it was delicious, and he wasn’t wrong. We got chicken, squid, chinese sausage, ricecake, shrimp, and beef skewers that were ALL amazing. HIGHLY recommend the spicy powder on any skewer you order. I have low tolerance for spice, but it was just a small kick for a couple seconds. I will be coming here way more often, I found my favorite food spot for late night snacks.”
“I knew it would be amazing before we even walked in. We picked four dishes between the two of us and it was plenty. The flavor was strong on the dishes themselves, and the two sauces complimented every dish nicely. We got pork chili, cucumber salad, and two different momos; they were all excellent. We were surprised by a cheap bill at the end. My daughter was born the next day and I’ll never forget this dinner.”

“Ughhh love this place soooo muchh!!!! It was my first time and everything was so perfect. Genuinely wondering why this place is not busy as much everything I tasted sent me back to the memories of Nepal. Everythings so perfect and I feel like price is cheap too. The server is sooo nice. Shes Ale Magar she stated shes so wonderful. Keep her forverrrr!!!”
“Came in early a.m., walked in to a bright and energetic atmosphere. Greeted by the cashier I gave my order. 1 Coffee and 6 donuts, not only was the price right; the donuts were phenomenal. I was unsure of what to get but they were patient with me lol I am a bit of a coffee snob and this was one of the best I’ve had. I’m always weary going into new territory (my own bs) but this was a delightful encounter for sure. I will absolutely be returning (with my children) as they could not get enough of the donuts. My new favorite spot without a doubt!!”
“E x c e l l e n t e! This place has become one of the top two mexicano places to eat in Elmhurst, which Elmhurst being the nyc capital of truly good and authentic food, is a lot to say. Their chalupas are amazing. I could eat them everyday if it wasn't because they are fried tortillas. Their concha and cuernos are truly great. I've had tacos the other day and they were euqay amazing. I tried a shrimp tostada and to my delight, it was really good even thought I am not a big fan of mayo sauces.”
“I didn’t know which one tasted better, so I tried them all. I found 3 things I liked... I asked them their names, but it turned out that the person working on them didn't speak much English. She answered me in Spanish...I don't understand Spanish, so I ignored the name? One is filled with egg, and the more you chew it, the more delicious it gets...The other one has the same texture as mochi. It's a potato on the outside and meaty on the inside.”
“I love the rice rolls that are only available on weekends. They’re portioned more generously and much cheaper than the ones sold in Flushing. Although the selection is limited (beef, pork, dried shrimp, fish balls, char siu pork, Chinese sausage, etc.), they’re all delicious. I love their chewy texture—it’s just like mochi. The price is an unbelievable $3 to $3.50.
I also like the tofu pudding (a large container for $4), which is almost identical to Japanese silken tofu, but the quality varies from day to day. The one I bought this time had a mushy texture on top—perhaps because the soy milk was too thin.”
“Everything was fresh and delicious. My wife found this place while we were in NYC visiting from Boston. Definitely recommend and we will come back.”
“Seriously underrated. Went to this spot after the 1h45mins wait of the Michelin store a couple hundred feet away, and I was absolutely blown away. Khao Sol is fantastic, but the Nam Giong is extremely spicy so only order if you think you can handle it!”
“I ordered takeout from Chao Thai and had to leave a review. The food was phenomenal—exactly the authentic Thai flavor I've been looking for. It honestly reminded me of the amazing food I usually have in Thailand.
Don't think twice about trying this place. If you love authentic Thai food, run, don't walk!”
“Uno de los mejores restaurantes Ecuatorianos en NY! Ofrecen una gran variedad de platos súper deliciosos que representan Guayaquil. 10/10 ⭐️”
“Best of the best... small, cozy, amazing... enjoy it. Lo mejor de lo mejor... Pequeño, acogedor e increíble, Disfrútalo”
“The most authentic taishan/canton style you can get. Been coming here all my life, from toddler to middle age adulthood. The food is delicious, packed full of flavor, and honestly the best canton lobster you will ever find. Brother Wah is a master of wok hay.
They recently changed management within the last year or so, though still a tight-knit circle of the same employees, and the service has greatly improved, along with table-side amenities. Their business was hit hard by COVID, along with the entire street, and hasn't seemed to recover the same amount of patrons, which is a huge shame.
Hoping my review will help!
Definitely recommending their canton lobster, along with their young chow fried rice, saucy clams, and fried salt n garlic beans!
(picture has: salt n garlic beans, canton lobster, saucy clams, fried shrimp and cashews w. sweet sauce, and a salt n pepper pork chop)”

“Overall, Service was 5 stars Meanwhile, It took almost 30 more minutes to pick up my TO GO order after the expected time of readiness..
But the Food was Amazing and made correctly! and everything was as I ordered it, In The bag to go. The service staff was courteous and didn't just leave me at the TO GO table wondering if someone remembered I was there. So... Great Job Longhorn Will visit again for Dine in next time.👍”
“Foods are not as good as before. Vietnamese rice noodles with stir-fried beef tenderloin used heavy oyster sauce to mix with the super soft meat, broken rice noodles with no taste fish sauce, not good. The beef rice noodles with soup was ok, the meats, basil, bean sprouts and lime were fresh, the soup is light taste but acceptable. The noodles are precooked and overly recooked which made it mushy. The best is the grill chicken. Cold drink is normal. However the price is still decent.”
“pretty yum! i was a teeny tiny bit scared because there seems to be a lot of variance in the reviews, so i dunno!! my guy used to eat here as a kid and he had a lot of good things to say, and i was also a little scared of it not living up to his memory of it but it was pretty good! i think it's actually better than the other pho bang that i went to in Manhattan, but i don't remember it too well, anyway, this guy wanted a pork chop so there that was, and he said that it was good but a little small and the plate makes it a bit difficult to eat. food came out really really fast, like the pho came out within like 3 minutes of ordering, and the pork chop a little later. big thing with the pho is that the broth is pretty good, my guy really liked it, and they give a lot more meat compared to other places, which was good, but my guy said that he remembers the bowl being bigger back in the day, i got an XL but he said it looks like a large or a regular, idk, I got full, I'm fine with it. you gotta pay at the front in cash and lowkey hoping that the tip went to the waitress, the cashier said to give it with the payment so idk, but overall, i don't have any major complaints, the water was fine, food was good, and the service was typical for an Asian establishment”

“Better Half Coffee Kitchen is such a cute little spot in the Woodside/Jackson Heights area! ☕✨ Their chopped cheese is seriously BUSSIN 🤤🔥 and the coffee is just as good—so fresh and flavorful. But honestly, what makes this place even better is the staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and sweet. You can really tell they care about their customers. Definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood and a spot I’ll be coming back to! ❤☕🥪”

“I'll keep on coming back her, the experience is the great and the service is excellent. I recently tried the macarons and I can't not believe how good they were, I haven't tried something this good before. Kiara and Joselin are the kindest people I have ever met they were very helpful when ever I needed any help. I definitely recommend this place.”

“This spot used to be a cafe. I'm disappointed that the coffee spot moved, but I do like this new spot. I hope it lasts (or maybe moves to an actual store nearby some day).
They specialize in baked potatoes with toppings. Cheap, quick, filling. They have a lot of different toppings.
My only complaint is a personal one. I'm pretty sure the potatoes all have butter in them, so they're vegetarian but not dairy-free or vegan. So, be wary of that if you're in the minority who doesn't eat butter.”
“This is the cart to go to, after a night out when you’re a little tipsy and hungry. The bbq is affordable, the flavor is so good, and it’s the best Chinese bbq cart in this area. It’s a popular local spot with only two or three guys working, so expect a wait time. They also have plastic chairs in the corner so you can pull off the stack while waiting. If the meat is fatty or not seasoned to your taste the main server is very accommodating. The beef, lamb, enoki mushroom, and lotus root are our go-to order.”
“Delicious food.Best service.Thank you.”
