“The best sushi restaurant I have ever been to. The portions are perfect. The sushi is very fresh. I would eat here everyday if I lived in Oregon. This place is a must eat at!!”

“Anyone can seemingly make sushi seem better by making it more complex, but the real test is whether they can take the simple and make it excellent. Sushi-Ki-ichi does just that. They stick to the simple offerings, leading to an experience that feels less Americanized than other Japanese restaurants. That's not to say I don't love some level of creativity, but you don't need it here. That's because the family that owns Sushi Ki-ichi wants to create an authentic meal - a notion that was confirmed for sure when we had a conversation with the owner. In fact, they take quality to the next level with their equipment and efforts they take to make sure that what they serve is the highest quality, including specific freezers for the fish. We didn't try Sushi Ki-ichi for the first couple of years because we figured that the previous restaurant, a Chinese buffet that had gone downhill and fallen off the cliff, had rebranded and reopened as something new. Now I feel that for those first couple of years, we missed out. This has quickly become my favorite place in Portland. I look forward to any trips I take across town from Vancouver to Tigard, and make a point to stop in and grab a bite.”

“My biggest criticism is the lack of cleanliness in themed restaurants these days. You put so much effort into decor, and a yearly cleaning would not be too much of a sacrifice for decorum. Bartender was too busy to tend to the tables. Gave a good tip, but while I understand I was underwhelmed.”

“Heard they had great food, and being in the mood for great food, we went to the Gresham branch. Wowza. Their SMALL Margarita is a very healthy serving. She added mango, I added strawberry for $0.50 each. They have a lot of offerings and many are much larger. Chunky guacamole was exactly as advertised and very tasty. Both of us had Fajitas which were served on a sizzling platter. Probably could have shared one, but we like leftovers so that was fine; as there was a LOT of leftovers. Shared a flan dessert, which was super yummy and served with whipped cream. Service was good and very attentive. More chips? Right away. You know how someone always asks "how's it going" just as you take a bite? Gave 'em two thumbs up at least three times. It was not quite too much attention, but close. Atmosphere was clean, modern and pleasant. Menus are VERY extensive and detailed. Exterior signage is quite low key. Guessing that's by careful design. Had we not heard good things, we might not have gone in. Guess that's ok, I think you'll want to tell your friends.”

“I saw the negative reviews and was dismayed. BUT when we got there and saw the amount of people who were enjoying themselves. This amount of people would not have been and I was heartened by this. First off the service people. When we asked they were prompt. The sushi filled me up. The variety was astounding. I tried most of their different prepared vegetables dishes. Beef dishes as well. My wife ate her fill of various shellfish and other different kinds of seafood. The little dishes of ice cream was a nice touch for desert. It has a bit of everything for everybody. I highly recommend this restaurant. This is our favorite restaurant. Easy to find. Easy to get to. Lots of parking room.”

Id say thats the only thing is because it is fresh and its fish, its very expensive. Unfortunately, that makes it to where we couldnt afford to go very much. This is food id get if I wanted a great japanese food experience, eat raw fish thats exceptional, fresh and safe. Id trust this place to eat this type of food here cause of how its prepared and the people look serious here too. The young lady up front was sweet and the place has minimal seating but thats ok. “I've always had decent food here at Bannings. This morning I ordered Pumpkin pancakes.....what a disappointment. The pumpkin batter needed salt added to it and it also could have used a bit more sugar in the batter. The syrup was not real maple syrup but table top ad says, "warm maple syrup," so I expected real maple syrup. It also says, "whipped butter." I asked the waiter about the maple syrup and he told me it was "artificial" maple and argued the fact that the restaurant never said "real" maple syrup. Maybe the butter is whipped margarine...who knows what liberties are taken in menu descriptions. I'm a "real" maple syrup customer.”

“This place is fantastic. I have ordered from here on at least five occasions for work functions. Orders are always ready on time and have never been wrong. The ingredients are always fresh, the bread is soft. The owners are very nice and personable. Restaurant is clean and cute!

They have tons of options - breakfast and lunch options in sandwich and burrito form. They also offer vegan and vegetarian options and yummy kettle chips!

Today I had an order I realized I forgot to place last week and called them at 9:30am asking if they could accommodate a sandwich order for 20 people by 11:30. They said no problem and my order was even ready 10 mins early. So very appreciative they were able to accommodate me!!!

We will continue to order from Munch when we need lunches.”

There was an employee mopping the area and he said it'd be a minute. Then I realized it wasn't routine mopping but a cleanup situation. I apologized to him and said I didn't realize what had happened. He said "I'm John, the owner. We have a rule here that when an employee spills something, somebody else cleans it up. They're stressed out enough." Let me spell that out...the owner was wielding a mop to ease the mental load on one of his employees. Now I want to get a job there just to learn how to be a better person. Stay classy, John, you're doing it more than right.”

“This tiny Mexican bakery is astoundingly good. The owners, a husband and wife team, are both friendly and love to talk about their products. As a chef, I appreciate good food and the knowledge of food preparation and both of them have that. Further, her brownie is absolutely the best I’ve had and I’ve made hundreds of them. A great local place to treat yourself.”

“I rate and try Pad Thai across the entire Pacific Northwest, and I can say that this place has a pretty solid Pad Thai. It isn't perfect and by far my favorite, but if you're looking for a good Pad Thai and a large portion size to take home with you, this is a great place to start.

Comes in a large portion size, but maybe slightly less flavor (spice and slight savory) than I would expect. The sauce is quite thin and soaks into the noodles nicely. There is a ting of too much sweet but not overbearing. Very tolerable and the flavors around it balance it very well, but maybe the noodles are a little tougher than I would hope (slightly, might not even be noticible). Overall this Pad Thai is pretty solid and I would rate 7.5-8/10.

Service was really great here, and the servers were extremely attentive to the customers and very polite. This gave me the experience of a Thai restaurant while still making me feel accomdated like a fancy one.

Overall I will give this a 4.5 for Portland standards, but round up to 5 for google.”

“Ginormous Burrito Supreme! Hefty enough for two meals, and packed with all the good things; tender, juicy, wonderfully seasoned chicken, beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese and very little filler. The salsa bar options are also excellent, at least 6 kinds of sauces, pickled onions, cilantro, carrots, peppers and more. Indoor seating is a bit cramped, but there’s a larger outdoor-ish covered patio to sit in as well.
Parking lot is super sketchy though, but otherwise, two thumbs up!”

They are generous with their samples, which is great since savory ice cream flavors aren’t common so you can be sure you’ll like what you get before you order it. We sampled a couple flavors, then decided on a flight of salted, malted chocolate chip cookie dough, vegan hazelnut cookies & cream, strawberry honey basaltic with black pepper, and maple koginut squash with pomegranate. They also give you 1 waffle cone with the flight, which was really cool! I loved the sweet flavors, while my girlfriend loved the savory flavors. I would highly recommend stopping in and tasting some out of the box ice cream flavors!”

Atmosphere is humble, and that's a good thing. Sometimes you need to be at a place like this that is cozy and comfortable on a Thursday afternoon. Oh yeah one thing to note that the service is very slow.

“It’s all about the soft serve!! Definitely one of the best soft serves around - the strawberry vanilla swirl tasted just like a classic diner strawberry milkshake! The chocolate vanilla swirl was also so good - rich chocolate flavor and creamy vanilla. The soft serve was so good that I didn’t mind that the cheeseburger was mediocre - I’d come here every time for the soft serve.”

“When you enter the first thing you notice are the plants and real wood paneling. There are tiny cast irons up on the wall. The lighting is designed to look like old style gas lamps. The music is definitely the best part of the ambiance. The music ranges from doowop to soul to vintage rock and roll to San Francisco sound and Motown which is precisely my jam. I ordered a plain burger with mayo and fries. I'm weird like that but Miller's was able to able to accommodate my autism. The service was amazing and I'm not just saying that cause I know the waitress. The food was made quickly. Fries were crunchy on the outside soft on the inside as they should be. My Fanta was topped off when I got just under a third. It's clean. Very clean. I know cause I watched an employee pull every single table out to clean the booths. Very pleased with my visit.”

These rolled burritos are so good, packed with flavor, and just the kind of handheld, satisfying meal that’s surprisingly hard to find in the Portland area. We love grabbing burritos (and adding fries, of course!) before heading into the movies — it’s honestly the best thing to sneak into the theater. Big flavor, great portions, and an awesome locally-owned option in a shopping center full of chains. Can’t recommend it enough!”

“The staff at this Starbucks are wonderful...there aren't enough stars to give them. My friend and I had ages to catch up on and were able to sit comfortably and chat, then get a couple pup cups for our fur babies on the way out.

Dietary restrictions: My friend asked for non dairy, no problem. They scrupulously rinse the pitchers when switching from dairy to non dairy.”

If their prices didn't continue going up, I would probably make this a more regular occurrence, but it's hard to justify spending $6.50 for a singular item that is 100% a luxury. The luxury is delicious and I'm sure it is well worth it. But like I said, definitely not something that becomes easily obtainable and or affordable regularly. This is meant to be a luxurious treat”

“Its a good place to go get a custom pizza made quickly. Its been awhile since I've been to one and doesn't notice that they have a thicker crust option as well as salad options. I kept it simple and ordered a pesto/white based pizza with chicken, sausage, mushroom and garlic. The pizza was decent and satisfied the quick hunger.”

I've been looking for a good burger in Portland for some time and this is it!! The onion rings were jammin' too. I just wish the portion of the rings was bigger, but totally a solid number for the price. I'm definitely coming back.”

“Always a positive experience at this Starbucks on Scholls & 125th. The staff are incredibly courteous, friendly, kind, and have great work ethic. They always pay attention and make the drinks exactly as you order them which is why Starbucks became popular back in the day to begin with. A very competent group of employees here at Scholls, Starbucks should be proud! The Starbucks location itself always has people from the neighborhood hanging out with friends (which is also a good sign). The store itself is clean and runs smooth. The parking can be tough early mornings due to a donut shop and bank next to it, but not that bad. People go in and out quick. 5 stars for this lovely location! Highly recommend ❤️✨”

“I have moved states 4 times in 5 years, I just moved to Tigard a few months ago close to this Starbucks and it is by far the best Starbucks I’ve been to. I will place an order on the app on a busy m-f morning and it is ready in just a few minutes. The only bad experience I’ve had wasn’t even the employees fault, the person at the register took 12 minutes to order haha”

“I love this Starbucks. I come about 1 to 2 times a week i pass 2 other Starbucks and several other coffee places to come to this location because of the friendly staff always have a smile and a kind word. My order is always made quick never have to wait long. I love BJ and another Barista sorry I can't remember her name but she wears really long braids. I order a caramel macchiato add hazelnut triple shot and an ice water. It's always perfect and gets me through my day.”

“Moved to Portland not too long ago and hadn't had much luck finding good Mexican food. Low and behold I found Livi's tucked away in Tigard. Real taqueria food. The birria, al pastor, and carnitas all hit the spot. I might have to pickup jogging or try Livi's ensalada if this turns into a regular thing. Online ordering is easy, the staff is friendly, the truck is clean, and the food is more than satisfying, what's not to love?”

“Best Dine-In Biscuits Cafe experience ever! I hadn't been to this location for about 12 years or so because the last time I went the food was just meh. Today we were going to go to Bannings but it was too busy when we got there so we left and went to this Biscuits Cafe instead and we were glad we did. It was an amazing experience from beginning to end. I think our waitress saw us coming from outside because when we got in she was waiting for us by an empty table. We were pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to wait. The food was delicious! I got the cinnamon roll french toast with scrambled eggs and ham steak and my boyfriend got the huevos rancheros (which was highly recommended by our waitress). Both were equally tasty! The service was great! Our waitress (I'm terrible with names...Jean maybe?) was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The sun started glaring off a car outside and into my eyes, I requested the blinds be lowered and they quickly accommodated my request. The kitchen forgot the bacon crumbles on my boyfriend's loaded hash browns (no biggie) and our waitress made sure to remove the charge from our tab and was even kind enough to get me an iced coffee to-go which I very much needed for packing for camping. I wish I remembered our waitresses name cause she really was great! We're so glad we decided to come here because we will definitely be back now!!!”
