“Anyone can seemingly make sushi seem better by making it more complex, but the real test is whether they can take the simple and make it excellent. Sushi-Ki-ichi does just that. They stick to the simple offerings, leading to an experience that feels less Americanized than other Japanese restaurants. That's not to say I don't love some level of creativity, but you don't need it here. That's because the family that owns Sushi Ki-ichi wants to create an authentic meal - a notion that was confirmed for sure when we had a conversation with the owner. In fact, they take quality to the next level with their equipment and efforts they take to make sure that what they serve is the highest quality, including specific freezers for the fish. We didn't try Sushi Ki-ichi for the first couple of years because we figured that the previous restaurant, a Chinese buffet that had gone downhill and fallen off the cliff, had rebranded and reopened as something new. Now I feel that for those first couple of years, we missed out. This has quickly become my favorite place in Portland. I look forward to any trips I take across town from Vancouver to Tigard, and make a point to stop in and grab a bite.”

“I'm only rating it 4 stars cause it is fairly minimal as far as McMenamins go. If I was rating it not held up against other locations I'd give it a 5 but, there are some pretty sweet McMenamins locations out there.”

“Heard they had great food, and being in the mood for great food, we went to the Gresham branch. Wowza. Their SMALL Margarita is a very healthy serving. She added mango, I added strawberry for $0.50 each. They have a lot of offerings and many are much larger. Chunky guacamole was exactly as advertised and very tasty. Both of us had Fajitas which were served on a sizzling platter. Probably could have shared one, but we like leftovers so that was fine; as there was a LOT of leftovers. Shared a flan dessert, which was super yummy and served with whipped cream. Service was good and very attentive. More chips? Right away. You know how someone always asks "how's it going" just as you take a bite? Gave 'em two thumbs up at least three times. It was not quite too much attention, but close. Atmosphere was clean, modern and pleasant. Menus are VERY extensive and detailed. Exterior signage is quite low key. Guessing that's by careful design. Had we not heard good things, we might not have gone in. Guess that's ok, I think you'll want to tell your friends.”

“I absolutely LOVE Cascadia Restaurant & Bar! It's a must if you're looking for good food, fantastic service, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. We started with drinks. It was difficult to decide because they have a really nice cocktail menu (along with great selections of beers and wines). We went with a Peach Fizz and a Kentucky Honeysuckle. Both were delicious! We got mozzarella sticks for our appetizer which did not disappoint! For our main meals, I got cheese pizza and he got the mushroom ravioli. The pizza was soooo good, crispy crust and the perfect ratio of cheese to sauce. I tried some of the ravioli too and was impressed - creamy sauce and super flavorful! For dessert we got chocolate fondue... and let me tell you, I was in heaven! It tasted like brownie batter and I couldn't get enough. All of our food was fresh and came out quickly. Overall, such a lovely experience. You can tell the staff are upbeat and that they care! I love that there are several vegetarian options on the menu! I left full and happy. We will absolutely be back!”

“I saw the negative reviews and was dismayed. BUT when we got there and saw the amount of people who were enjoying themselves. This amount of people would not have been and I was heartened by this. First off the service people. When we asked they were prompt. The sushi filled me up. The variety was astounding. I tried most of their different prepared vegetables dishes. Beef dishes as well. My wife ate her fill of various shellfish and other different kinds of seafood. The little dishes of ice cream was a nice touch for desert. It has a bit of everything for everybody. I highly recommend this restaurant. This is our favorite restaurant. Easy to find. Easy to get to. Lots of parking room.”

Id say thats the only thing is because it is fresh and its fish, its very expensive. Unfortunately, that makes it to where we couldnt afford to go very much. This is food id get if I wanted a great japanese food experience, eat raw fish thats exceptional, fresh and safe. Id trust this place to eat this type of food here cause of how its prepared and the people look serious here too. The young lady up front was sweet and the place has minimal seating but thats ok. “I absolutely love the food at MoMo Thai House! It truly elevates traditional Thai cuisine to a new level, offering a delightful twist on familiar flavors. One of the standout features of MoMo’s is the option to add duck to any dish. This flexibility is fantastic, as it allows you to customize your meal rather than being limited to specialty dishes that include duck.

One dish that I highly recommend is the Pineapple Fried Rice with Duck, prepared medium spicy. The combination of flavors is simply irresistible, with the sweetness of the pineapple balancing perfectly with the richness of the duck. The dish is a testament to the creative and thoughtful approach the chefs take in crafting their menu.

Every item I've tried at MoMo's has been delicious, so you really can't go wrong no matter what you choose. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff is always friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. Additionally, parking is very easy, which is a bonus for those who might otherwise worry about finding a spot in a busy area. Don’t forget to check out the daily specials written on the board—they often feature unique dishes that are worth a try! Overall, MoMo Thai House is a gem that I can’t recommend enough.”

“I've always had decent food here at Bannings. This morning I ordered Pumpkin pancakes.....what a disappointment. The pumpkin batter needed salt added to it and it also could have used a bit more sugar in the batter. The syrup was not real maple syrup but table top ad says, "warm maple syrup," so I expected real maple syrup. It also says, "whipped butter." I asked the waiter about the maple syrup and he told me it was "artificial" maple and argued the fact that the restaurant never said "real" maple syrup. Maybe the butter is whipped margarine...who knows what liberties are taken in menu descriptions. I'm a "real" maple syrup customer.”

“I rate and try Pad Thai across the entire Pacific Northwest, and I can say that this place has a pretty solid Pad Thai. It isn't perfect and by far my favorite, but if you're looking for a good Pad Thai and a large portion size to take home with you, this is a great place to start.

Comes in a large portion size, but maybe slightly less flavor (spice and slight savory) than I would expect. The sauce is quite thin and soaks into the noodles nicely. There is a ting of too much sweet but not overbearing. Very tolerable and the flavors around it balance it very well, but maybe the noodles are a little tougher than I would hope (slightly, might not even be noticible). Overall this Pad Thai is pretty solid and I would rate 7.5-8/10.

Service was really great here, and the servers were extremely attentive to the customers and very polite. This gave me the experience of a Thai restaurant while still making me feel accomdated like a fancy one.

Overall I will give this a 4.5 for Portland standards, but round up to 5 for google.”

“When you enter the first thing you notice are the plants and real wood paneling. There are tiny cast irons up on the wall. The lighting is designed to look like old style gas lamps. The music is definitely the best part of the ambiance. The music ranges from doowop to soul to vintage rock and roll to San Francisco sound and Motown which is precisely my jam. I ordered a plain burger with mayo and fries. I'm weird like that but Miller's was able to able to accommodate my autism. The service was amazing and I'm not just saying that cause I know the waitress. The food was made quickly. Fries were crunchy on the outside soft on the inside as they should be. My Fanta was topped off when I got just under a third. It's clean. Very clean. I know cause I watched an employee pull every single table out to clean the booths. Very pleased with my visit.”

“Strip mall location with fast service, tasty Chinese/Korean, 10 dishes with pork chicken tofu variations. Recommend sweet and sour pork, stir fried Jajagmyeon, or beef jjamppong. Beef soup or noodles.

About 12 tables, 50 seats, can easily handle a group of eight, more I would call in advance. They can get busy, but they are fast and there seemed to be enough tables as people wait for to go orders.

Right next to Washington square, easy access on and off highway 217. Medium parking lot that seemed busy but sufficient.

“It’s all about the soft serve!! Definitely one of the best soft serves around - the strawberry vanilla swirl tasted just like a classic diner strawberry milkshake! The chocolate vanilla swirl was also so good - rich chocolate flavor and creamy vanilla. The soft serve was so good that I didn’t mind that the cheeseburger was mediocre - I’d come here every time for the soft serve.”

I come about 1 to 2 times a week i pass 2 other Starbucks and several other coffee places to come to this location because of the friendly staff always have a smile and a kind word. My order is always made quick never have to wait long. I love BJ and another Barista sorry I can't remember her name but she wears really long braids. I order a caramel macchiato add hazelnut triple shot and an ice water. It's always perfect and gets me through my day.”

My wife and I stopped in for lunch and got the French Dip and Santa Fe Chicken Panini. We split them so we were able to both try two different sandwiches and they were stellar. The French Dip was the best I have ever experienced, even beating my own cooking as well as the Panini brought together flavors in a manner which I had never tried before and it was refreshing. All the wait staff were amazing and some even dressed up for the holiday spirit!

“Best Dine-In Biscuits Cafe experience ever! I hadn't been to this location for about 12 years or so because the last time I went the food was just meh. Today we were going to go to Bannings but it was too busy when we got there so we left and went to this Biscuits Cafe instead and we were glad we did. It was an amazing experience from beginning to end. I think our waitress saw us coming from outside because when we got in she was waiting for us by an empty table. We were pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to wait. The food was delicious! I got the cinnamon roll french toast with scrambled eggs and ham steak and my boyfriend got the huevos rancheros (which was highly recommended by our waitress). Both were equally tasty! The service was great! Our waitress (I'm terrible with names...Jean maybe?) was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The sun started glaring off a car outside and into my eyes, I requested the blinds be lowered and they quickly accommodated my request. The kitchen forgot the bacon crumbles on my boyfriend's loaded hash browns (no biggie) and our waitress made sure to remove the charge from our tab and was even kind enough to get me an iced coffee to-go which I very much needed for packing for camping. I wish I remembered our waitresses name cause she really was great! We're so glad we decided to come here because we will definitely be back now!!!”

“Moved to Portland not too long ago and hadn't had much luck finding good Mexican food. Low and behold I found Livi's tucked away in Tigard. Real taqueria food. The birria, al pastor, and carnitas all hit the spot. I might have to pickup jogging or try Livi's ensalada if this turns into a regular thing. Online ordering is easy, the staff is friendly, the truck is clean, and the food is more than satisfying, what's not to love?”
