“I visited Sorimmara in Annandale for lunch with a friend today, and we had a great experience. The food was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and very helpful throughout our meal. I definitely plan to come back again soon!”
“Tucked away in an unassuming building is probably one of the greatest bowls of tonkotsu ramen I’ve ever had. The depth of the broth is incredible and the chashu is thick and tender. I ordered an extra cut of chashu to go along with my ramen combo, but honestly the initial cut they give you feels like the right amount because of how thick it was. In total it was $19 for the combo that a chashu bun and generous serving of ramen plus $3 for extra chashu. 100% coming back here and 10/10 would recommend!”
“Y’all are missing out. Food is bomb!!! Service and atmosphere 🔥🔥. Come through and this is the only go to spot. Check it out.”
“You have got to ask for Jay Kim, he is the best server in the house. He was patient and ever so helpful with us as first time hot potters. I had a vegetarian hot pot, well, except for the dumplings. Although they have no vegetarian options, he worked with me and provided me with an alternate option. It would be more awesome for them to add it to their menu tho for those of us who just love veggies. The broth is vegetarian based so it makes sense to have a vegetarian option along with it. We had a party of 8 and Jay Kim made it so much fun!!! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh. One other option that would have been great to have would be fresh ginger at the sauce bar and mushrooms on the vegetable plate. We were all pleasantly pleased with our food. The ambiance is very nice, low light but more than enough to cook and enjoy each other's company. Jay Kim made sure we always had what we needed. The sauce bar was amazing, so many choices. I recommend making a few bowls, some for the broth and and some for dipping your cooked food. If you get any type of meat, also make a sauce to marinade the meat. You don't have to but it made a good difference. Meats are thinly sliced for quick cooking and again,so fresh. The price was worth the amount of food and the experience. There is an all you can eat option or an a la carte option where you just get one meat selection and a vegetable plate which was more than enough for us as a party of young ladies. This was a great first hot pot experience and I definitely recommend it, just make sure to ask for Jay Kim. I know you will enjoy it!!!”

“Decided to try this late-night place after a long day at work. Since I was dining by myself, I was seated at the bar on the first floor--which I don't mind as it provided me a nice view of the yakitori station. I visited on a Friday evening so it was a little busy, but since I was on the first floor the atmosphere was calmer compared to the second floor. Jack was the only server on the first floor but he was prompt with my orders as well as the other customers on the floor. I ordered the grilled large intestines/daechang with a side order of kimchi as well as a light lychee martini. I've had daechang before, but I gotta say the daechang over here just tops it. They're marinated in this addicting sauce and the intestines were grilled perfectly. That chewiness and greasiness I normally get from eating just one piece of daechang from anywhere else, I surprisingly did not get after eating a few pieces here. I definitely would go again and try out their other menu items, especially their yakitori!”
“The malatang here is seriously one of the best I’ve had! The broth is rich, flavorful, and perfectly spicy, and all the ingredients taste super fresh. I especially loved how customizable everything is, you can pick exactly what you want and it always comes out delicious. The staff are also really friendly and welcoming!!!”
“We ordered the pan-fried noodle and triple delight. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. Service was excellent and we plan to make this a regular stop for dinner. The portions were very generous. I should have taken a picture but by the time I thought of it my dish was half empty. Next time.”

“These were some of the most kind young gentleman I’ve ever ran into in my whole life. They greeted me with a nice kiss at the door. They where so kind and even gave my friend Accommodations because he’s blind out of his left ear and deaf out of his right eye when he asked for a sample, they gave him 2/4 of his meat and allowed him to eat the meat straight out of his hand followed by a “goood boy” the cashier said”

“Decided to try mae ornnit with my sister based on the strong reviews they have. Our server provided excellent, attentive service from start to finish. Mixed reviews on the food: Papaya salad was a downer. Lacks that nice flavor with fish sauce and papaya slices were sliced a bit too thick. Tom kha gai and chicken wonton soups were a winner. Lovely coconut milk flavor for tom kha soup. Fried tofu was pretty decent. The sweet and sour sauce for crispy flounder rocked, but I was expecting a slightly fresher flounder than what we had. Overall a pretty nice experience and we may return if we pass by the area again.”

“Today I had a really satisfying meal at K-Street inside K Market.
The pork cutlet was very comforting and balanced — just a classic, reliable donkatsu flavor.
What impressed me the most was the tuna kimbap. The ratio of egg and carrot was excellent, and the flavor was clean, mild, and not salty or overpowering at all. It felt very different from the typical overly seasoned $9.99 kimbap.
Everything tasted fresh and well balanced.
I’d definitely recommend the donkatsu and kimbap at K-Street inside K Market if you are looking for a simple and satisfying Korean-style meal.”
“This was a really cozy and yummy place. All of the workers are extremely friendly and the food made me want seconds. I got the sullungtang, the combination sullungtang and fried dumplings and it came with kimchi and it was soooo good. I totally recommend this place.”

“This place has great Chinese food!! Love how it’s piping hot even after the 15 drive home after pickup or when they deliver. All of the fried rice dishes, beef chow fun, chicken with broccoli, beef chow mein are some of our favorites. They’re also very nice and friendly. Super quick too.
Can’t rate ambience. We always get to go or delivery.”
“Favorite Salvadorean cuisine. My favorite meal is the "yuca con chicharrón," which is fried yucca root and pork crackling (rinds). This also includes shredded cabbage in the center as a side. I recommend reheating in an oven for better taste and texture. My second favorite meal is the chicken sandwich, which includes fries. It's about 8", has some lettuce and mayo in it. Pretty tasty. Same as above for reheating. My favorite sides are red beans or "pupusa revuelta." Pupusas are probably a transliteration of "pupus" or "pu-pu platters," which are similar to "tapas." These are bite-sized entrees or platters, but in this case, it is a fried, corn meal, pancake-like item similar to a 'tamal' in that it is corn-based, but it is flat and round and filled with either cheese, beans, or a combination of both (revuelta).Lastly, no meal comes with a drink included, but you can choose soft drinks, water, beer, coconut water, "horchata" or "jugo de marañón" (cashew juice). Horchata is the name of several kinds of beverages, made of ground almonds, sesame seeds, rice, barley, tigernuts, or melon seeds (in this case, it's a powdered mix). Jugo de marañon is cashew juice, a light sweet juice somewhat similar to guava juice and almond milk combined.Prices are very, very reasonable as is the quality of food. However, I cannot guarantee the best customer service. This does not deter my 5-star rating because I enjoy the food, not the people.Lastly, there is music videos or live fútbol (soccer) usually playing on about 3-4 TVs. There is a restroom for men and women, bit the women's restroom requires a key, which you obtain from the counter up front. They also sell pastries of central American style.”
“From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a beautifully designed space that feels both inviting and stylish. The attention to detail in the décor creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a great meal.
The food here is outstanding! Every dish is crafted with care and delicious What truly sets this place apart, though, is the people. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a great experience.”
“Wonderful service and equally wonderful food ! So glad to have good quality Korean food in our local community!”
“👍👍👍👍👍! 1st been ! My family love food and service! Can’t wait to coming back ! Mon an rat ngon dam da huong vi Vn”

“This is my favorite Korean barbecue spot. Anytime a friend of mine suggests kbbq, we either go here or their sister hot pot location if we are in the mood.
The service is great, they are always fast at delivering the items. They will stop by to help cook the meat if you are not a pro. The menu has lots of options and unless they are super busy, they don’t limit the time to two hours. They’ll let you hang out a little longer, they may cut off the ordering time, but they won’t make you vacate the booth.
I’ve always had great experiences.
There is plenty of free parking, but it does get busy. We’ve had issues finding parking before, but I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes for someone to leave. It’s in a complex with a few other restaurants.”
“Awesome place friendly staff, Ally was awesome she played some uno with us while it wasn’t busy. Karaoke prices are good for the space and definitely great for special events. Great atmosphere definitely recommend if ya wanna be a regular”

“Next stop on the Virginialicious Food Tour Company was Red Holic, and this one really stood out.
Great atmosphere, great energy, and just an overall fun experience. The food was excellent across the board, but what made this stop different was the personal touch. The owner came out, served us herself, poured the Korean beer, and took the time to walk us through everything we were eating. You could tell she genuinely cared that we understood and enjoyed the experience.
That kind of hospitality goes a long way.
And once again, Sujin kept everything running smooth. She does an incredible job tying each stop together and making sure you’re not just eating, but actually experiencing it.
This tour just keeps building momentum with every stop.”
“Best pizza in Annandale hands down. Nothing comes close. It's a oasis in a pizza dessert. Ask for it crispy! Fantastic sauce and fresh topping, SUPER friendly staff, we are up to at least 10 times getting it, and it's been so good everytime, they crush it, highly recommended”

“I’ve been coming to Suny Sushi since they first opened, and it is — and probably always will be — my favorite sushi spot. The fish is so fresh and the sushi rolls are AMAZING. The owners are incredibly kind, and so is the entire staff. They even gift me miso soup sometimes (I come like once every two weeks haha).
I seriously recommend this place. It’s not too expensive at all, and the quality is just amazing.
My favorites are the Triple Salmon Roll, the Triple Connection, and the Mango Madness.”
“The spring rolls were fresh and flavorful, although I would have preferred a thinner rice paper wrapper. The beef noodle soup was good, with a flavorful broth that wasn’t overly greasy, making it enjoyable to eat.
The customer service was excellent. The two young gentlemen who assisted us were polite, friendly, and welcoming.
The restroom was also clean and fresh, which added to the overall positive experience.”
“The staff were very welcoming when I entered the restaurant. My girlfriend and I sat at the bar, and the bartenders were extremely friendly — the service was excellent. The food and drinks were great, and the owner even gave us a couple of pieces of sashimi to try, which were amazing! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a fun night out with friends.”

“My friend and I stopped by Lighthouse Tofu for lunch and really enjoyed our meal. We ordered different tofu soups and shared the Pa Jun, and everything was delicious. The soups were flavorful, comforting, and served piping hot, while the Pa Jun was crispy, savory, and perfect for sharing.
The lunch prices were very reasonable and offered great value for the quality and portion sizes. Just keep in mind that prices are higher during dinner service, so lunch is an especially good time to visit.
The restaurant has a casual, welcoming atmosphere, and the food is clearly the star of the show. While I wouldn't quite give it 5 stars, it's a solid 4-star experience and a place I'd happily return to when craving Korean comfort food in Annandale.”

“This place is sooooo goood my mom and I love it I got the meatball sub and steam dumplings 🥟 yummmmm my mom got tuna sandwich it was good then I got a tea it is good and the man is kind I told him about some of the plants he has and the people are kind I would really recommend this place”
“Taco Ssam is great!!! Happy hour from 4-8 every day,(no one does that) , Food is authentic mexican style ,with some korean infused dishes. I recommend the Quesadillas as they are stuffed with meat unlike other places. If you are into Bourbon or Tequila, their is a huge selection not just the same old stuff everyone else has. Waitresses are very friendly. 10/10”
“While exploring Springfield and the surrounding neighborhoods, I came across a Pakistani spot that feels like a genuine slice of home. From the traditional desi food including chane, paaye, chicken qourma, to the sweets, everything looked incredible, but the Chane and Naan stole the show—absolutely authentic!
It was great to see such a diverse crowd enjoying the food, too. For a moment, I honestly forgot I wasn't in Pakistan. To all my desi friends: if you happen to be in town, this is a must-visit! 🇵🇰🥘”
“There are so many pho restaurants in NOVA, but Pho Hai Duong has quickly become my favorite. I order their combination pho with extra hoisin and jalapeños at least once a week, and with their early opening hours I can even get pho for breakfast! I love the quality of their meat, the flavor of their broth, and the consistency of the meal each time I order. I definitely recommend this restaurant and feel spoiled to be able to eat there so regularly. 💯”
“This place is my go-to spot, and I genuinely enjoy the food here. While it might not be the cleanest or the most welcoming environment, the food make up for it. The owner changed a couple of years ago, I believe, but the dishes still taste great. Their pho has a rich, flavorful broth that I really enjoy. I also tried most of their offerings, which I found satisfying. If you're looking for quick and tasty Vietnamese food, I truly recommend this place.”
“I love the general tso chicken, orange chicken, and sesame chicken and my wife loves the Singapore noodles. I normally don't order chicken but this place is really good. Great prices, large portions and super fast delivery. Best in the area! Highly recommend.Update: We've been ordering from Hunan Heritage for over a month now and there is no question, they make delicious food. This is the only place I would order catering from. January 2024”
“Ben Gong's Tea locations are not that common, but they make their mark by producing consistent drinks every time I go.
The cups here are unique and I like their designs. I get their cheese slush or mango sago. While I like Yi Fang's mango sago better, ben gong also has a decent drink.
I always feel like their drinks are never that cold. Perhaps because the cups are a little more insulated?”

“I started going to L&L last summer, and my father and I instantly fell in love with it. The Loco Moco and The BBQ mix are standout favorites to us. The staff there have always been friendly, especially with the challenges coming their way with the renovations at the moment. Would recommend.”
“A traditional mom and pop type of spot with the best cuts of meat any Korean BBQ place can offer alongside a secret sauce that goes well with all of them. I’ve realized that in order to reach a healthy, indestructible, integrated, and whole Jungian psyche, one must get everything out of their Freudian system per se, and no one enables that better than “Little Korea.” The discharge of unconscious psychic content through ‘free association’ among other things can get us to where we want to go in terms of a healthy and integrated psyche. It’s a process which ends with what is unconscious becoming conscious. Hence, the two halves of the ‘yin and yang’ which happen to be on the Korean flag and in turn symbolize the two halves of the psyche which in turn seek integration, namely, the conscious and unconscious halves of the psyche. The unconscious strives to become conscious. And we facilitate it through various techniques, one of which is to get everything out of one’s Freudian system per se. It is of course a tumultuous process, but one which assumes its course nonetheless. And no one enables that whole psychoanalytical process better than “Little Korea.” They have my stamp of approval and always will.”
“I've been going to Mad For Grill for years, before it was mad for grill and called Nak Won. Not sure if the owners changed but the food is still delicious. Of all the options in Annandale, especially when there are AYCE options, the reason why I choose this place are -
The seafood pancake and cold noodles are the best here. And the kimchi is also very very good. Although it is not the cheapest option, in terms of taste, I tent to lean towards Mad For Grill.”
“We went on Saturday around 6 pm and were able to find parking. Food and service were excellent. Not very busy. However, they are known for more late night business.
Keeping this review here from December 2025 or so: 3 stars
We have been trying to go here with no success. There is never amy parking even after sitting in the parking lot for 15 mins waiting on someone to come out. Surrounding parking areas are blocked off or have towing signs posted. We will keep trying to go, however, since the reviews are good.”
“The place is incredibly clean, and the food is fantastic. It has a great vibe for hanging out with friends! The staff is incredibly friendly and kind.
Highly recommend to check this place out!”
“We got pork belly bossam and green onion seafood pancake. The bossam was almost michelin star restaurant food but the pancake was not crispy and too oily. Also the side dishes were awesome.”
“Vibe is the place to be at 5pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Mark and Ly have been super cheerful, helpful, and accommodating this evening and deserve a shoutout. Bonus points if you show up past 9pm because they have a live DJ! If you are looking for a place to spend your weekend evenings, this spot is definitely a major recommendation! You won’t regret its. The vibe is immaculate!”

“20251129 Stopped by around 3:20 pm for a snack, and got a large fries and large strawberry banana smoothie. The fries were hot and yummy. The smoothie was in a large cup with medium size content. It had small chunks of ice. It wasn't as good as the Mango Pineapple smoothie that I usually get. I wonder if I was to order a medium, Seoul the cup be filled with size small content?”
“The beef brisket and the beef steak were easily the highlights of the meal. Both were high-quality, flavorful, and grilled up perfectly, so I would recommend focusing on those two cuts. The pork options were just okay.
The staff were attentive and friendly. They kept a close eye on the grill, changed the plates frequently, and made sure our sides were constantly replenished.
Overall, it’s a solid spot for a casual feast.”

“Great food and true Filipino hospitality by the pretty ate Wendy. We ordered Bistek, Sisig and Lechon Kawali, all ala carte and fried tilapia value meal. The serving sizes are good for 2-3 pax. The Bistek was tender, Sisig was savory and the Lechon Kawali was juicy and crispy! The tilapia was also crispy too! Plus the calamansi juice drink was sooo good. Got to meet Mang Eton and hear his stpries as well.
The food tasted like homecooked Pinoy food. Satisfied are tummies and our hearts. ❤️”
“Very good food nice atmosphere”
