“We were a group of 6 all visiting for the first time and we loved it! 5 out of 6 of us did the Omakase tasting. All the courses were delicious and all of the folks there are amazing and welcoming! I highly recommend Sushi Jin. It is great spot and we will go back again.”
“I had a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious, fresh, and well prepared, and there were plenty of options to choose from. The dining staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend the dining service to other students.”
“Got a burrito was really good. Our server , Sylvia recommended a margarita…it was great. So…great food, great drinks and great service.”

“The tea adds a nice smooth and subtle flavor to the broth, haven’t seen this anywhere else. The atmosphere is cute and nice upstairs. Good quality meat for the price”
“We had bao, soup dumplings, dumplings, onion pancakes. They are all very good. Maybe bao wrap was a little bit too thick. But its all hand made in the back of kitchen, hand pulled noodles too. Over all is very good.”
“Our family went to the downtown MV Pokéworks on Friday afternoon to do take out and were delighted to find this location on Castro Street nicely blocked off, shaded, with ample clean and widely spaced seating if you want to dine-outside. Really highly recommend this location of Pokeworks - you can order&pay online and the manager of this location is meticulous about safety and YUMMY food. They even have the Disneyland DoleWhip for dessert 🤤.”

“Their chocolate mousse and cheesecake are absolutely delicious! The mousse has these deliciously crunchy little krispies in a layer between the mousse. The quality of the chocolate is fantastic! I also like the Los Altos location. There’s better seating over there.”

“This is our go to spot when we are in town for an amazing ice cream I would recommend this place to everyone if you’re with the family , traveling by yourself or taking someone special . The staff is great it’s always clean and the service is wonderful! Just a great all around pick for a delicious dessert spot !🍨”
“Pricey. But very high-quality. Had a CHICKEN CHOLULA, very tasty, a little bit spicy, enjoyed it. If you get the clam chowder (which is great), they’ll give you toasted pieces of sourdough with it. But if you rather have soft instead of toasted pieces of sourdough, just ask them.”
“I've been coming here for twenty years!! Always the best food , best staff , drinks and perfect location DT Mountain View. Love this spot! #highlyrecommend”
“Nos gustan todos los sabores, estamos un poco adictos a las bebidas.”

“Thin bread from the outside and full filling stuffed inside! Fresh pickles and veggies so yummy! I like the spreading pate it so mild and tasty! Recommended saigonsignature number 6! I like brown sugar boba for the drinks! It’s great to go along as combos! I must try!”
“The food was incredible. I wanted to order almost everything on the menu. So will have to come back at least couple more times to try everything to look good and we couldn’t order in one night. Our old fashion cocktail and blackberry Mojito were perfect. And I can’t say enough about considerate, professional service.”
“So good, high-quality, and fresh. I ordered two steak burritos with everything. The salsas are insanely delicious and spicy. The steak has an almost Argentinian asado fire-pit-style flavor. I love it. I loved the sweet, grilled onions and Serrano peppers that came as a side. Thank you guys for committing to making a great meal.”
“My son and I stopped by Mr. Sun for a refreshing boba treat, and it was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Mr. Sun Special with strawberry boba and another Mr. Sun Special with brown sugar boba, and both drinks were perfectly balanced, refreshing, and full of flavor. The boba was fresh, soft, and delightfully chewy, making every sip enjoyable.
The shop was clean and welcoming, and the service was friendly and efficient. It was the perfect place to cool down and enjoy a sweet treat together. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend Mr. Sun to any boba lover! 🧋😊”
“I have been visiting this place for over a decade and it's consistently a great place to have dinner with family, friends, or co-workers. The food is good. They have lots of vegetarian and vegan options and they are clearly marked on the menu card which makes it so much easier.
The service is friendly and prompt and the best part is they sing a birthday song for you in opera style if you're celebrating a birthday.”
“Vegan American Chinese cuisine in a strip mall. They make all the typical favorites using seitan to replace the meats and seafoods. They also have many vegetable and tofu based dishes.
The place is unimpressive looking, but the food was delicious. They also had a steady stream of customers both eating in the place and picking up food to take out. The service was good and the server was pleasant.
I had the corn and tofu soup and also the basil eggplant and tofu. The basil eggplant in particular was delicious and it came with plenty of tofu. The brown sauce was really tasty.
I would absolutely recommend this place and go again. Not fine dining but a good place to pick up a tasty meal, especially if you’re vegan or vegetarian! Recommended.”

“Had such a fantastic experience today at Chaat Bhavan! I visited with my family, and everything from start to finish was just spot on.
The food was absolutely delicious—full of authentic flavors and perfectly prepared. Every dish felt fresh and satisfying, and you can really tell they put care into their cooking. The service was equally impressive—staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome.
What really stood out was the environment: clean, vibrant, and super comfortable for a family outing. It had a great vibe that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I was eating food with the rhythms of their on going bollywood beautiful songs collection.
Definitely a place I’d come back to again and again. Highly recommend if you’re craving great Indian food with top-notch service!”
“Everything was delicious, especially the stinky tofu, pork intestine rice noodles, and lamb spine hot pot. The stinky tofu is the best I’ve had in the South Bay, and the seasoning on both the lamb spine hot pot and the rice noodles was just right. Highly recommend!”

“2nd time being here i really like the affordability when i come here and the place is pretty small and kind of dim but its a great spot to study or hang out for a little while
i got a large peach milk tea with black tea and big pearls and since im a sipper it took me a couple hours but it was great ill probably only ever come here if i want a drink while walking around downtown mtn view”
“I had a great experience here! The rice noodles were delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked with a rich, satisfying broth. The service was just as impressive: everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. If you’re looking for tasty rice noodles and warm hospitality, I would definitely recommend this place. I’ll be coming back again!”
“I love this place so much, I cone very often, especially when I work full shifts because my job is very close to the point I just walk to it.
Every time, no matter the circumstances food is great and so is the service.
On Tuesday I called for a pickup order at 3:05 and without any hesitation they filled it and had it ready so fast, food was warm and just delicious. They close at 3:30 so they could have easily told me no, or just could have been not the happiest, but the complete opposite! They are always happy, very friendly as well. I love this truck so much, and you guys are very genuine, humble people. Thank you for always making a great meal, and keeping a smile on your face! You guys are the best! Have a good day :)
Btw I have not had a bad meal at all here! Everything is so good!”
“We went here with our 1 year old and it was a great experience! Staff was very friendly and the ambience was good too :)
We tried the heart attack sushi and the mango crunch sushi and both of them were very tasty.
Would definately recommend this place!”

“This is a great place to grab the baked BBQ pork buns that I know of in the Bay Area. I never really knew this place was here when I lived in the Bay 12 years ago until recently when I came to visit. The baked BBQ pork buns are a bit more on the salty side but it's still good nonetheless. I still think Won Kok in L.A's Chinatown is the standard in my opinion but this place is still good nonetheless. Yes it's true the prices are high and it is cash only. But considering the area and how much their lease, utilities and supplies costs are, i think the price for their goods are understandable. Plus I'd rather spend my money towards a small mom and pop shop as well. Overall they got good baked Chinese goods and I think it's worth a try if you're in the area and craving some baked BBQ pork buns.”
“A good Chinese restaurant with above average food. We tried the cabbage and pork boiled dumplings, the steamed pork soup dumplings, and the pan fried pork soup dumplings. The pan fried soup dumplings were the best – good flavor, crispy bottoms, and juicy soup inside. The boiled dumplings were only okay. I thought the pork filling for the boiled dumplings was a bit musky, and I found a piece of gristle in one dumpling. The steamed pork soup dumplings could have used more soup but were otherwise fine. We also ordered a side of cucumber salad, which was decent overall but a bit salty and garlicky. The service was brisk and professional. They brought us rice for no extra charge – a nice touch. We thought the atmosphere was pleasant overall, with warm lights and plants.”
“If you want good drinks and service this is the bar to go to! Even the owners are so down to earth they treat you like family. Security is also amazing, they'll make sure you go home safely! Bartenders Leslie, Edna, Liz can whip you whatever drink you want and are friendly. The nicest, safest bar you'll ever go to with the best drinks!!”
“The pizzas were massive and tasty. We liked these way more than Dopio pizza in downtown Mountain View: not too thin, not too thick, nice crunch. The only drawback was that they have exactly 3 or 4 chairs at the bar looking out the window for dine-in. The staff was super accommodating. We ordered pizza not on the menu, and they responded, sure, no problem. The half BBQ chicken - half margherita large pizza was too much for 3 people. We had 2-3 slides left over. The jalapenos cheese sticks were a mini pizza with cheese and jalapenos: super spicy 🔥🥵 We concluded that 1 large pizza without the bread sticks would be perfect amount for 3 people.”
“The speed of service was supersonic. Everything was cooked well and the portions are large! I would definitely come back. I was very hungry and didn't get any pictures! However I recommend the bento box! The tempura was crispy and the vegetables flavorful. I also had the California Roll which was yummy. I appreciate a roll that's not more rice than filling and these were perfect!”
“We had two delicious dosas, suggested by the cook, who was very kind and told us not just about the food but a little about South Indian culture. A very pleasant experience at Mr. Cake, thank-you!”
“A long overdue review of our favorite hangout spot in Downtown MV. It's got everything you want: good food, wine, and service. They have a great wine club that does free tastings once or twice a month, too. It's a fantastic deal. We are grateful to have a fun place like this in the neighborhood!”
“Love their foods, so delicious and fancy will bring my family & friends there again!!”

“This Papa John’s here goes above and beyond for people, especially their night crew. The manager will do anything and everything to make it right. Anna in the kitchen is an amazing cook. She takes her job very serious and make sure every pizza is done to perfection. not to mention how clean the store is when you’re there I would definitely have this pizza 🍕 more often and this is towards the nighttime crew and manager”
“Best Pho in town!
It's been hard for us to find many restaurants that we love since moving here a couple years ago. But theres something athentic about this spot, from the family running the place to the little plastic spoon in the hot sauce.
We get the large #1 pho and share for two people. Summer rolls are yummy. And we haven't really seen fit to order much else. Pull into the tight little parking lot, walk in and get steered to a booth, where the owner will take your order. And next thing you know you're quickly served a piping hot bowl of delicious pho. Add the sides of your choice (no sprouts, a bunch of basil, and a dollop of that hot sauce does me right).
When you're done, walk up to the register and settle up. It's a no frills, but perfectly tailored experience.”
“Just finished eating an egg, cheese, bacon croissant sandwich...earlier had a chocolate glazed donut with large Chai latte..the donut was fresh-i could tell immediately upon the first bite. 2 weeks ago, I indulged in Krispy Kreme donut...weird cause I see Krispy Kreme ee's making donuts but the donut did not taste fresh...a hidden gem of a place..next time I intentionally decide to indulge in a donut, this will be my to go place...from perusing other reviews, u might not find the hot drinks to ur liking but the donuts, pastries and sandwiches are divine..plus there's a variety of refrigerated cold drinks available:)...did not give 5 stars simple to encourage growth and creativity to abound:)”
“Was excited to try Tony Gemignani’s “Apricot Fields” slice (exclusive to Mountain View), and he did not disappoint. Chalk up another winner that went great with our Cal-Italia, and the Wise Guy. A little Hot Honey and extra fig preserve allowed us to add a custom touch as each desired. Can’t even complain about the wait for a closer Slice House, because I know Tony Respects the Craft too much to rush any location before they are up to the highest standards. Bravo!”
“Bacon Burger was delicious today. Remember having juicier patty when I was at the shop last year. I have been craving for it since I stepped into USA 9 days ago but had the chance only today. Was disappointed this time round but the food was delicious nonetheless. Could have been better. Will try another outlet before I leave for Singapore”
“Decent portions and fast service! My favorites are the BBQ chicken and spam musubi. The dining area is quite large, which makes for a comfortable wait. I usually order via their website because there is no upcharge or fee—it's the same price as ordering at the counter. Fast, reliable, and friendly! (Note: They don’t accept the loyalty program points here).”
“We had lunch there recently, while I loved their kebabs the chicken curry we ordered was ok, the quantity was good but too oily and rich in ingredients; Naan bread was also ok but not the top quality.”
“Quite good option for Shanghainese food in South Bay Area.
The Xiaolongbao has thin skins and juicy. The crab Xiaolongbao is not fishy.
Pan fried buns are juicy too. They have cute shape and are pretty. Not as greasy as the traditional Shanghai pan fried buns.
The fried green beans are umami and tasty so we have ordered twice.
The Shanghai salt pork w. vegetable rice is also a hit.
Sweet and sour pork ribs: the ribs are quickly fried to cooked so a bit tough. But the flavor is quite okay.
We like it a lot! It’s close to the neighborhood. Food is not pricy and has reliable good taste.”

“We had the most amazing dinner at the restaurant. We were there all weekend. The staff is amazing. The food is out of this world. If you are in the area, you must stop there thank you. I’ve never eaten such an amazing pasta dish and I love Italian food and you guys nailed it and let’s not even start with the lamb chops. Omg. I need to come back again soon.”
“Il Fornaio as a chain is a favoured venue for casual family dinners and for special occasions. The Mountain View location especially is a frequent haunt for us since we live in the same neighbourhood. The restaurant is always busy and yet service is always prompt. We've come to know servers like Sanjeev and managers like Maninder personally and always feel very welcome. While we wish there were more veggie pasta options, their soups, salads, pizza and appetisers have become familiar and comfort food for us over the years. I have been dining at the Il Fornaio chain of restaurants for over a decade and I've always had a great experience.”
“This was my second visit to Hyderabad Dim Biriyani and to my surprise the food was so much better and well prepared. Our mutton curry was little undercooked but once we mentioned about it the owner right away took care of us. I wish if they can make their naan for $4.—-little bigger. Also they should give some extra napkins to the customers so that they don’t have to ask for every little thing. I will recommend you to go and enjoy the food. It’s always good to complaint to the owner/manager so that they can take care of you and rectify if there is something wrong. #papihanandy”
“Pretty good midly spicy Indian food. Has lunch buffet. Dine in and take out. Complimentary chai.
2026 Update:
I wrote my earlier review around the time the emergency COVID-19 pandemic crisis hit the globe in 2020-2021. I feel there's been so my changes challenges for American businesses and Americans since then. My Family and I went through a lot and my workplace also went through challenges and this restaurant like many others did too and sadly even more Recently I heard they had a robbery that damaged the restaurant interior. However, I'm happy to report how impressed and satisfied I was with my recent dine in experience. The restaurant interior has been remodeled upgraded made much more elegant and a nice new expanded specialty drink menu has been added with new fruit drinks like mango lasis. They play some hip cool songs on the TV DJ. The service by the professional prompt staff was excellent and detailed. I had the butter chicken and butter nan and basmati rice which was very flavorful tasty so rich creamy and yummy the butter naan was cooked Warm melty buttery crisp yet chewy and the plates looked visually good too. I Felt like I was dining as a King LOL. 😊 The only improvements I can think of is perhaps some additional cold drinks like lemon iced tea and lemonade maybe some juices like cranberry and pineapple. And a small positive comment it would be good to keep the hand sanitizers and hand soap regularly stocked when I went both were empty. My workplace EMT Labs would regularly order corporate take out lunches regularly from this restaurant starting over 10 years ago when this restaurant was newly opened in 2014 but the corporate lunches from here were stopped many years ago now as the EMT Labs owner felt the food here was too spicy though individual employees sometimes still continue to order from here. I got Married in 2017 and My Wife And I and my brother-in-law we all started dining here and getting take out a number of times from my early marriage time in 2017-19 and also more Recently with additional family members like our small child and with in-laws.
After eating here last week As a Single Guest for the first time in my Entire Life with the recent bright and comfortable elegant and pleasant and soooo good tasty Culinary experience I had On a Table for 1, I can recommend the renovated dine-in experience much more highly now, As I Can say it was the most satisfying fun enjoyable tasty good Peaceful Freeing happy Relaxing Pleasant Exciting Content positive even Clean experience I ever had with Himalayan Kitchen Restaurant. It was my Best experience with the Restaurant Yet! No offense meant to any of My Family members or any of my co-workers.
Thank You! All The Best! God Bless!”

“I have been here a couple of times. Today, I asked by an order of three al pastor and one of chorizo. But when paying I did not realized the chorizo one was not included. When received the order I noticed chorizo was missing but was not charged neither. So the person kindly told me no worries I will do it now. And when I was going to pay he was don't worries is ok. This is what i call amazing customer service. When you care your customers this is what you do and guess what I will be back no only because tacos taste great but for that type of service provided to me. Super recommended place.”
“Stopped in for a quick caffeine fix and treat at Craftsman and Wolves in Mountain View and left satisfied overall. The latte was beautifully poured with excellent leaf art and rich flavor, and the wolf-themed cup was a fun touch. I went with the striking pink cherry-topped pastry — it looked Instagram-worthy with the glossy burgundy center, fresh cherry, and gold leaf, and tasted bright, fruity, and nicely balanced between sweet and tart.
The pastry case was full of creative, high-end looking options and the menu has solid variety (great sandwiches and yogurt bowls too). Service was efficient, though the space felt a bit tight during peak time. A polished spot for quality coffee and pastries — worth a visit if you're in the area.”

“Crumbl Cookies totally lived up to the hype for me. The first thing that stands out is the size—these cookies are huge, thick, and definitely made for sharing, although honestly I didn’t want to. I tried a few flavors, and each one felt rich, soft, and freshly baked, with that gooey center that makes you keep reaching for another bite. The rotating weekly menu is such a fun idea because it makes every visit feel different and gives you an excuse to come back. Some flavors were a little too sweet for my taste, especially with all the frosting and toppings, but if you love indulgent desserts, that’s part of the appeal. The pink box packaging is also cute and makes it feel like a treat even before you open it. Overall, Crumbl is more of a fun dessert experience than an everyday cookie stop—perfect for sharing with friends, family, or satisfying a serious sweet tooth craving.”
“This is a mobile coffee truck that you can usually find parked in the same lot as Midwife and the Baker in Mountain View on select days of the week. I was lucky enough to catch them while visiting the bakery.
It’s a cute little setup, and I decided to try an iced mocha. The coffee was decent — good enough, though nothing particularly extraordinary or standout. They do offer a variety of drink options, along with some in-house syrups you can customize your drink with, which is a nice touch.
Overall, it’s worth checking out if you’re already in the area and looking for a quick coffee stop.”
“My family and I came to have breakfast at our friend Cesar’s restaurant, Casa Mia. They have two locations—one on Blossom Hill and another in Mountain View.
The food was absolutely delicious, and Cristian, our waiter, was incredibly friendly and attentive. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish.
If you’re looking for a great place for breakfast or lunch, you definitely need to check it out! 🍳☕🥞 Highly recommended! ❤”
“I have to give a huge shoutout to the team at Nick the Greek! I placed an online order and left a note mentioning that my falafel hadn't been cooked well in the past. Not only did they make sure it came out perfectly crispy this time, but they also threw in a free sauce AND left the sweetest handwritten note on my order slip. It's such a small thing that takes so little effort, but it means so much as a customer. it TRULY shows they actually read the notes and genuinely care about getting it right. This kind of above-and-beyond service is rare, especially with online orders where there's usually zero personal touch. You just earned a loyal regular. Thank you for making my day!”
