“Got a burrito was really good. Our server , Sylvia recommended a margarita…it was great. So…great food, great drinks and great service.”
“Everest Special Chicken Chowmein is my favorite dish here! It’s packed with veggies, perfectly cooked noodles, and flavorful chicken. Portion size is great for the price.”
“The experience of dining there was next level. From start to finish they have perfected the dining experience. Food, staff, and ambiance was five star!”

“My daughter loved her matcha with brown sugar boba. She mentioned she requested lighter on sugar and that it was too what she expected and was not too sweet. She would revisit to try other options.”
“The food was incredible. I wanted to order almost everything on the menu. So will have to come back at least couple more times to try everything to look good and we couldn’t order in one night. Our old fashion cocktail and blackberry Mojito were perfect. And I can’t say enough about considerate, professional service.”

“Had an amazing experience at this omakase place in Mountain View. The servers and chefs are super welcoming when you walk in! If you here for a celebration or treating yourself to a nice meal, you need to get the omakase tasting menu! The fish was so fresh and melts in your mouth!!! I really like their chawanmushi (steam egg with seafood) , it was so light and flavorful. I recommend this spot for Omakase! :)”
“Every time I visit GK Pastry in Mountain View, I usually get the jalapeño cheddar bread (so satisfyingly good, toasted or not), but this time I tried the tomato cheddar bread—crunchy exterior, soft and chewy interior. Awesome toasted. My other go-to is the chocolate jar cake. The chocolate they use is delicious, not too sweet. This time I had the mixberry jar cake. A nice, change-up. Never disappointed. Definitely try and support this local bakery! They opened a new location in Los Altos, too.”
“Pricey. But very high-quality. Had a CHICKEN CHOLULA, very tasty, a little bit spicy, enjoyed it. If you get the clam chowder (which is great), they’ll give you toasted pieces of sourdough with it. But if you rather have soft instead of toasted pieces of sourdough, just ask them.”
“This is our go to spot when we are in town for an amazing ice cream I would recommend this place to everyone if you’re with the family , traveling by yourself or taking someone special . The staff is great it’s always clean and the service is wonderful! Just a great all around pick for a delicious dessert spot !🍨”
“Absolutely phenomenal service and quality for our corporate event that we hosted in a clinic. Allan and Minoo were very responsive and helpful in planning and executing the catering. They went above and beyond in making sure we had enough food, and everything was set up perfectly to make sure the food was hot by the time we served it. Thank you for making our event so memorable!”

“Food truck right off El Camino which was parked near a slightly sus liquor store. The food came out very fast, but they did forget the extra grilled onions for my friends burrito. We got the Chez burrito - the meat was delicious and cooked inna way that made it feel caramelized almost. It is very filling too, and I was stuffed on half. My friend got the veggie quesadillas and liked it. Overall, it wasnt the best food I’ve ever had, but it was a solid choice.”

“Definitely the paella and the desserts”
“Modern elegance combined with a cozy atmosphere, it is a great place to meet people or hashing out ideas! The cappuccino I ordered was expertly prepared, with a creamy foam and a rich, robust espresso base. What truly set it apart, however, was its temperature—served just right, it provided a satisfying warmth without being scalding.”

“Handmade noodles and dumpling. Best siu Mai in the south bay. Everything we ate was very tasty. You cant beat the prices. My new favorite dumpling and handmade noodle get away. Check it out. You won't be disappointed. Beef noodle is on point if you cant decide where to start”
“Angus beef - Generous portion. Good quality. Actually pretty good deal.
Veggie combo - We were disappointed they didn't replace the veggie that we didn't like. Because it was part of the elite freebie, we got it anyway but I wouldn't order it if I come here myself. The yellow corn was very sweet.
Pork - good portion, good quality
Squid - I was very impressed with it. Taste really good if you like seafood.
Soup base - Disappointed that a few were out of stock. The numb spicy I didn't like. It's very spicy which is fine but it lacks flavor. I think if they use herbal or other soup base or just adding salt will improve the taste a lot better.
The herbal soup was very flavorful. Loved it! But a bit salty.”
“Wow! What an experience! This is a truly special bar.
I walked in as someone who didn’t like red wine, and left as a true convert after being guided to exceptional wines, by the extremely knowledgeable owner Manny. Every wine Manny suggested absolutely hit the mark, with my two favourites being a red 2021 Koncha & Co sweet Saperavi from Georgia, and a white Koncha & Co Kisi.
The atmosphere is really cosy and welcoming. Hours will disappear here as it’s so relaxing.
Highly recommend and will be back next weekend!
Oh and the cheese board was Amazing too.”
“Biked over from our hotel and grabbed a table without waiting on a Saturday evening. Plenty of tables inside, good lighting, and nice staff. Large sushi roll menu. We started with the spicy edamame and it was great, to an addicting point. I got the monster roll and the spicy hamachi. Good quality fish, rice was solid, and the ingredients tasted fresh. Solid spot for sushi.”
“Katsu is a refined, intimate omakase experience that redefines what it means to dine with intention. With only eight seats at the chef's counter, the chef-owner, Katsu Maruyama, treats everyone as a special guest.
The omakase menu evolves with the seasons; the meal's pacing is thoughtful, allowing diners to savor each bite while engaging with Chef Katsu, who shares insights into his techniques and ingredients. The fish is incredibly fresh (often flown in from Japan), and the rice is perfectly seasoned.
The atmosphere is calm and minimalist, allowing you to focus entirely on the food.”
“In July, I placed a large catering order through DoorDash for our company because we absolutely love Mendocino Farms. Unfortunately, the order was unexpectedly cancelled the night before our Board of Directors meeting, which was incredibly stressful.
Thankfully, General Manager Adam Rivera came to the rescue! He personally took my order the next morning and had everything prepared and ready to go within just three hours. His professionalism, responsiveness, and outstanding customer service completely turned the situation around—I went from stressed out to doing a happy dance!
On top of that, the food was fresh, delicious, and a huge hit with our team. A big thank you to Adam and Mendocino Farms team for going above and beyond—you truly saved the day!”

“A good Chinese restaurant with above average food. We tried the cabbage and pork boiled dumplings, the steamed pork soup dumplings, and the pan fried pork soup dumplings. The pan fried soup dumplings were the best – good flavor, crispy bottoms, and juicy soup inside. The boiled dumplings were only okay. I thought the pork filling for the boiled dumplings was a bit musky, and I found a piece of gristle in one dumpling. The steamed pork soup dumplings could have used more soup but were otherwise fine. We also ordered a side of cucumber salad, which was decent overall but a bit salty and garlicky. The service was brisk and professional. They brought us rice for no extra charge – a nice touch. We thought the atmosphere was pleasant overall, with warm lights and plants.”

“This spot is definitely one of the best around! The drive-thru moves smoothly, even during those late-night cravings. Every time I’ve come through, the customer service has been top-notch, friendly and efficient. As for the food, it’s always been on point. Never once had to return anything or toss it out,
now that’s saying something!”
“This is a solid dim sum place with good food overall. Prices were fair, except for the pan fried bao with translucent skins, which were way overpriced. We enjoyed the shrimp chang fen and the Chinese broccoli. The har gow had nice chewy skins, but the filling inside was only so-so. I was not a huge fan of the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves because the filling was made with ground meat instead of whole pieces. The staff were efficient and friendly. We enjoyed choosing our food from the roving dim sum carts. I ordered shou mei tea, which tasted fine.”

Takeout Restaurants
“Delicious! I had a super burrito asada which was very flavorful. My wife had pigs ear and beef tongue tacos which she enjoyed even more than my burrito. Excellent salsas, pickled jalapeños, carrots and red onions.
No place to sit, so we grabbed our order and went to a nearby park.”

“Joy Sushi is the best sushi restaurant in Mountain View and beyond. The fish is the freshest, food is delicious and inventive, and the owners are so lovely and welcoming. Every time we go there it’s a treat. The sushi plates are as beautiful as they are delicious!”

“Our family went to the downtown MV Pokéworks on Friday afternoon to do take out and were delighted to find this location on Castro Street nicely blocked off, shaded, with ample clean and widely spaced seating if you want to dine-outside. Really highly recommend this location of Pokeworks - you can order&pay online and the manager of this location is meticulous about safety and YUMMY food. They even have the Disneyland DoleWhip for dessert 🤤.”
“Was excited to try Tony Gemignani’s “Apricot Fields” slice (exclusive to Mountain View), and he did not disappoint. Chalk up another winner that went great with our Cal-Italia, and the Wise Guy. A little Hot Honey and extra fig preserve allowed us to add a custom touch as each desired. Can’t even complain about the wait for a closer Slice House, because I know Tony Respects the Craft too much to rush any location before they are up to the highest standards. Bravo!”
“We love this local gem and we always try to support them.
Our experiences have always been wonderful.
I do want to point out that I saw an additional “Operations Fee” surcharge of 5% levied on my bill. I personally think this is poor taste and reflects badly on the Management who should be able to run a profitable business with any and all “operational cost” built into their financial models.
You might as well have labeled this “charitable contribution “ or “donation”, or just raise your prices by 5%.”
“Solid fried chicken, was very juicy and the fries and biscuit were amazing. I opted for the white meat and shrimp combo, I'd probably skip the shrimp next time (they were good but it was so much food), think the meal and a drink was 27 and change.
Will definitely be back, don't suggest eating inside though it's a bit small and very warm inside.”
“O’Malley's Sports Pub has the kind of vibe where you can just kick back and relax. Plenty of TVs, so no matter where you sit you won’t miss a play, and the atmosphere is friendly without being over the top. The drinks are solid, the food hits the spot, and it feels like the kind of place you can hang with friends for hours. Definitely a go-to spot when you want good pub energy without any fuss.”
“Great shanghainese place. Get the pan fried pork buns 5/5 and the xiao long bao soup dumplings 5/5. The place is small so expect to wait a few minutes during lunch. If you are looking for dumplings and in Mountain View this is the place to try.”

“I love this place so much, I cone very often, especially when I work full shifts because my job is very close to the point I just walk to it.
Every time, no matter the circumstances food is great and so is the service.
On Tuesday I called for a pickup order at 3:05 and without any hesitation they filled it and had it ready so fast, food was warm and just delicious. They close at 3:30 so they could have easily told me no, or just could have been not the happiest, but the complete opposite! They are always happy, very friendly as well. I love this truck so much, and you guys are very genuine, humble people. Thank you for always making a great meal, and keeping a smile on your face! You guys are the best! Have a good day :)
Btw I have not had a bad meal at all here! Everything is so good!”
“This place is a neighborhood gem! We keep coming back to Pho Avenue for its wonderfully fresh and flavorful food in a relaxed, casual setting. The staff is always so welcoming (Vin and Lisa, in particular, are great!), which makes every visit a pleasure.
A huge plus is their dedicated vegetarian menu section, with plenty of delicious and vegan-friendly choices. My go-to order is the #17 Vermicelli Noodle with Tofu. Pro tip: For a little extra, I swap the fried egg roll for their amazing vegetarian summer rolls.
If you’re craving something more spicy, try the #16. White Rice - Chilli Lemongrass Tofu Spicy.
Just a heads-up: parking in the area can be tricky during peak lunch times, but it's always been worth the effort for us. Highly recommend!”
“A delightful find in Mountain View - local favorite boba place that has won Best of Mountain View awards several years in a row. Bobas are super soft and chewy! I would like my Hazelnut milk tea with stronger tea flavor and my husband’s Dark Plum smoothie to be slightly sweeter at 50% sweet. Not too many sweetness levels in some drinks - it’s either 100% or 50%, prices more reasonable than other boba places.”
“The vintage DragonBallZ sodas made my day!! The service was fast & the 15min wait for spring rolls was WORTH IT—everything was delicious and they made us smile the whole time. What a neighborhood treasure!
Vegetarian options: spring rolls, egg rolls, & a veg/vegan banh mi option!
Dietary restrictions: Great vegan & vegetarian options!
Kid-friendliness: Check out the anime-themed sodas for the kids!
Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible!”
“A true hidden gem in Mountain View. We love coming here for our Saturday morning bagel fix. The bagels are made in-house and have a fantastic texture, with some unique flavors like Swiss cheese, spinach, and jalapeño. Their homemade cream cheese is also a must-try. I'm a big fan of their Vietnamese coffee—it's got a unique blend that's unlike anywhere else. The place is simple but spotlessly clean, and the staff always wears masks. Just remember, there's no seating; it's takeout only.”
“Fantastic bar with solid food options and one of the best atmospheres around. Both bar tenders were superb and they had a great selection of Irish and US based whiskeys.
Be sure to bring quarters for the pool table and they run half price whiskey specials to watch out for!”
“Things have changed a bit recently! We loved our visit to the course last week! Fairways were mowed beautifully, the greens were impeccably smooth and fast... and the deli made an awesome, thick and juicy burger with fries! Of course I had to make a few purchases at the Pro Shop also... nice merch! I can't say enough about the enjoyable atmosphere, and friendly service from everyone... Thank you for a very happy day on the Course!”

“We had the most amazing dinner at the restaurant. We were there all weekend. The staff is amazing. The food is out of this world. If you are in the area, you must stop there thank you. I’ve never eaten such an amazing pasta dish and I love Italian food and you guys nailed it and let’s not even start with the lamb chops. Omg. I need to come back again soon.”
“Within the South Bay Area I’d rank this place pretty good. They have a good balance of price, quantity, and quality. The quantity was good enough for the price. The quality and taste was decent but I have had better in Cupertino. If I lived next to this ramen place I’d probably go eat it regularly without complaints. I like the decor and atmosphere inside. Service is also good and fast.”

“I love Next Level!
It's great for playing board games with my little kids - they have a shelf that's sorted by age.
It's also great for advanced strategy games. The staff give great recommendations based on what you like to play. They have lots of newly released and independent games that I hadn't heard of but ended up loving!”
“Ordered the gobi paratha and saag. Both were good. Gursimran and Yuvraj were both fantastic with their service. Love that they are using compostable take out containers which don't have the PFA lining inside. Bathroom was wet and bit mucky so that is something they should look into.”
“Wonderful food! The meat in all the dishes was very flavorful, and I absolutely need to come again to try more. The noodles had great texture, the xiao long bao paired well with soy ginger sauce, the lamb kebab was crispy on the outside and tender inside, and I was gnawing on the lamb shank bone like a caveman by the end :)”
“The entire experience was amazing. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the drinks were perfectly, and the ambiance was simply. Our server, She was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and made the morning even more enjoyable with it thoughtful service. Almost forgot chilaquiles were so good!!!”
“The food was so good.
My husband and I made a quick lunch stop here and we weren’t sure what to order. He is vegetarian and I’m not. The owner was very sweet and accommodating. She offered us a couple of choices on and off menu so we could enjoy her food. It did not disappoint. Everything was flavorful and reminded us of our time in Mexico. We’ll definitely be back and maybe even bring some friends with us too. 😊”
