“It was delicious!!! Rabbit, foie gras, pigs feet, escargot, halibut, eel, scallops, all the fancy sauces….SOOO good!! Every bite was just perfectly executed. The staff was so friendly and engaging which made it really fun to sit at the chef’s counter!”
“A true gem... cozy, intimate vibe, beautifully curated wine list, and unforgettable standouts like the duck with sweet peppadews, the radicchio salad with persimmon and pears, and the whiskey ice cream with honeycomb. Absolutely loved it.”
“I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and he was also incredibly impressed with me and my choice to try Urdaneta!”
“Phenomenal food. Great ambience. Incredible team. Inspiring story starting with chef Juan that expands into locally-sourced food, seasonality, and supporting women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ producers. As a solo traveler, the warmth and family-like atmosphere made this experience memorable.
It's also not as common to find a tasting menu inspired by Mexican roots, but this was one of the best meals I've enjoyed on the west coast. If you think lobster and mole won't work, you're missing out. Highly recommend!”

“all I can think saying is it’s delicious every spoonful come out and have some …delicious I promise”

“Another excellent place in the lower half of the pearl. The S.O. and I try places around the pearl before shows at the armory and this has become part of the rotation. The food is really fresh and the portions are generous. Atmosphere is chill and the place is quite enough for a good conversation. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.”
“Great food. Best Shawarma in Oregon.”
“Every time we visit we go to Fishwife restaurant. We haven't had a bad dish. Highly recommend”
“My friend Amy owns this sweet little spot, and I absolutely love it here. The waffle with eggs and bacon is always delicious, and their Mexican mocha is my favorite, warm, rich, and perfectly spiced. Such a cozy and welcoming place to start the day. Highly recommend!”
“Great service , amazing staff. Pizza the best in Portland”
“Bar food has no business being this good. The reasonably priced full menu and little things like house made ranch have made us regulars, and we love how we can tell who's bartending by the playlist.”
“My son and I ate dinner here on Tuesday evening, 10-01-24. The male waiter was unimpressive, and asked the young lady behind the bar to take us. I was freshly out of surgery and needed to eat something. She quickly moved us to a padded booth when I asked. She was very prompt and very courteous. An absolute sweetheart. She was professional with our orders and accommodating to our particular requests, mine especially, given the circumstances. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the rosemary chicken and a bland salad with cucumbers. The salad tasted fresh. The chicken was perfect. I would give 5 stars, but some of the other patrons seemed judgmental, and I was displeased with the young man who seemed offended by the couple of rural folks in the big city.”
“Dinner was amazing. Staff was amazing. just AMAZING. My son took me as a surprise while visiting him from FL. Thank you for making this moment for us. 5 star!”
“Food was great, a little expensive for the amount of food but good quality. Atmosphere and services were great too! It gets busy so I would recommend making a reservation”

“We had eaten at Langbaan (their expensive other restaurant), which we tremendously enjoyed as a fine dining experience. We wanted to try Phuket. We were pleased with the quality of service, prices, ambience, and the food. One dish was a bit lacking in flavor, but the other three we had were superb. Definitely worth revisiting.”
“From our nine year old: Amazing service and great mocktails! We went during the make your own Gimbap and it was absolutely amazing!!”

“WOW! A reasonably priced fine dining experience (all vegan!🌱)!
The portions were generous!
Had the PB+J cabbage- sounds weird but is so tasty! The risotto was warm and savory and the cured carrots in it were so so good! Got both pasta dishes - the parsnip carbonara and the wheat berry sausage agnolotti- both were divine!
The lighting was warm and dim. The decor is dark and moody and beautiful.”
“This is a hidden gem. Service was great. Enthusiastic and welcoming. Drinks were served swiftly and competently. Menu is conservative but still fun to explore. My club and French fries were satisfying. Was thrilled to see actual chicken meat in my sandwich and not sliced deli meat. Lots of real avocado, bacon and grilled thickly sliced sour dough made it a meal. Beet salad to start was dressed a bit heavily but delicious nonetheless.
This is a small space with only me and my 4 comrades and another party about the same size sat directly next to us. Why?
Would be nervous to see this place filled as I'd worry about hearing conversation.
My friends told me that both servings of garlic fries weren't hot. And my other friend did not get his requested avocado on his burger. Also, we were celebrating a birthday and don't think they serve dessert as none was offered.
Also, I assume you can park in motel lot for dining. If so, that's a bonus in NW!”
“The food is insanely delicious here. And with beautiful presentation. Service is top notch. Like fold your napkin when you're in the restroom level of service. Plus the servers provide detailed descriptions of the food and drinks when asked. You can tell they've studied the menu more than most. I would give more stars if I could.”
“Very nice and toasty heated outdoor seating, colorful and flavorful food, friendly staff.”
“We ordered the fried chicken, summer salad, hummus with burnt beef tips and the corn ribs. Everything was unbelievably delicious. The summer salad in particular was refreshing and different. I can not recommend this place enough.”
24 Hour Restaurants
“Great food, a little high priced. One thing that i have noticed is there app with the rewards system on it hasn't EVER worked. Ive tried making new accounts and logging in different ways, but still will NOT ever work. If they were able to resolve this as well as offer some different deals or specials, I would deffinately eat here more often. There onion rings are always on point.”
“Very well made food. The fries were hot and crispy. it came with the right amount of salt and ketchup packets. The drive through staff was nice and friendly and I did not have to wait long for the fresh chicken patty yum. The only thing was the trash people left around the building made it kinda displeasing.”
“This is the cleanest fast food restaurant on 82nd I've seen. Bathrooms are very clean, including parking lot. A lot of homeless people hang around out side due to the bus stop being right on the side walk near the building but had no issues with them. The service has been the fastest I've seen in a while less then 5 minutes after Ordering. Even when asked to site out front to wait for meal. Great place love their Oreo large shakes they have now they really hook it up. And the plus side is the drive thru is open 24 hours witch is great for that late night munchies.”
“The food is a great value - especially for how quick the service is!
We do wish the enchiladas were more cooked; we mentioned it and they seemed to know right away we wanted them more warmed up, but the cheese was still not quite melted.
A minute in the microwave at home finished it of super well!”
“Great restaurant, we go everytime we are in Portland. Great food, great ambience and wonderful staff. Plus an outstanding butcher shop”

“After visiting several bars and restaurants across the country and Portland (specifically) it’s impressive to see a spot that cares deeply about the atmosphere, service and menu.
I’ve been here twice and each time have been very impressed by how hospitable the bartenders are.
Josh is a standout and clearly cares about his team and customers.
Overall, 10/10. This is the kind of spot that Portland NEEDS.”
Takeout Restaurants
“The best North Indian we have had in USA. Food was cooked to suit my high spice level tolerance and 0 spice level for my kids. We had the yummiest dal and butter chicken with garlic naan. Food was excellent but service was even better. My 4 year old wanted plain roti which was not even on the menu. But the owner is such a kind soul that he specially got flour kneaded for him and didn't even let us pay for it.”
“My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast! Thank you!”
“Been waiting to try this place FOREVER and was blown away by the food. Snow cheese drumsticks were perfect. Gochujang drumsticks almost as perfect, really nice crunch and tangy coating. Lots of attention to detail with the pickles and shredded greens on the side. Honestly though any place that hands you food service plastic gloves to eat your meal with is a win in my book, oh and our toddler loved it too! Bonus was reheating the chicken in our oven at home and broiling the snow cheese at the end. Got some crazy char and unlocked many new bonus levels of flavor. Oh and and gluten free items clearly marked with no reactions to any of the foods. Bangin!”
“One of my favorite bars in Portland. Perfect date spot. Beautiful interior and back patio. Great lighting. Good cocktails, I love that they have mini mixed shots for like $7.
For how fresh and delicious most of their menu items are, I was surprised at the burger quality - I’m almost certain it was a frozen patty, which seems so unlike this spot. I could be wrong, it just didn’t taste like what the price point makes it seem you’re getting. That said, everything else I’ve eaten here is fantastic.”
“Absolutely amazing tasty food! We had the tacos and instantly fell in love. I could cry with how good it was. The hosts and staff were so friendly and accommodating all around great atmosphere and learning their story made it all the more heart opening. Thank you so much 🫶🫶🫶🙏”
“Sayler's Old Country Kitchen is a beloved restaurant known for its hearty American fare and nostalgic ambiance. Located in Portland, Oregon, it's famous for its massive portions, particularly its steaks and prime rib. The restaurant has a cozy, old-school diner feel, making it a great spot for families or anyone craving classic comfort food. Whether you're in the mood for a filling breakfast, a juicy steak dinner, or their renowned onion rings, Sayler's is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. If you're in Portland and looking for a memorable dining experience, Sayler's Old Country Kitchen is definitely worth a visit!”
“The food, the cocktails are great along with the staff. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.”
“Pizza was great. Salads were amazing. The roasted kale was unbelievable!! We had two orders for our party of 6. Creative cocktails. service felt busy and impatient and not very attentive after ordering. Otherwise, a great place.”

“Kate’s all vegan and gluten free ice cream is an inclusive dream for many people with dietary restrictions and a sweet tooth 😜 Everyone working there has been accommodating when I’ve asked about other food sensitivities, too, like oat. It’s ridiculously delicious and I recommend the ice cream sandwiches if you can have oats!”
“We got the tasting menu and every course was delicious. The bacon was the standout favorite, but we loved everything. It was my husband's birthday and they brought him a scoop of cardamom ice cream with a candle in it, and that was fantastic too. How do you make mugwort whipped cream? I don't know, but that was amazing too. Excellent service, wonderful cocktails. We'll definitely be back.”
“Everything about this place is phenomenal. The food is so delicious. We tried several things off the menu and couldn’t decide what our favorite was. They were all that good. And the staff are on top of it! Friendly, helpful, and happy. And we had the most sensational cocktails ever! Highly highly highly recommend this place. Great vibe and energy too!”
“The best!! You won’t be disappointed. Staff are clearly experts and enjoy being there. So much fun energy too! Mind. Blown.”
“Great atmosphere, good vibe and good music. Our waitress was very helpful, very knowledgeable and all around great. Especially for working on Christmas eve, she had a great attitude. Definitely recommend!”
Fine Dining
“Went for lunch to sister restaurant that serves a wonderfully fresh and inventive Thai street food menu. Came back for 9 course prix fixe dinner & great bottle of wine instead of wine pairing. Food is plated beautifully. Service is excellent, friendly and well timed. Dishes entice you from first whiff to last bite. Favorites included Hokkaido Scallop in coconut cream sauce, which wowed us with smoky Thai herbs commanding the sweet and savory flavors. My wife enjoyed the short ribs cured in anchovy paste with beets & radish. We both slurped down the deconstructed Tom Kha, elevated by adding fresh ora King Salmon and combining with wild cordyceps mushrooms.”
“Wow, we've been meaning to go here and finally went and were not disappointed. Every plate was amazing and extremely flavorful. We were so impressed. Will definitely be back. We were also impressed at the price. For what you're getting it's a good deal. Highly recommend to anyone.!”
“One of the greatest joys in visiting Portland for the first time is having excellent food and outstanding service; this place definitely deserves above 5 star rating and I’m grateful for the excellent service and food quality here . Connor was literally one of the best servers ever. Very professional, providing great hospitality and handsome for sure”
“Everything. This is not just going to dinner. This is a dining experience. It’s a small reserved venue. Yes it’s spendy, but worth every penny. You’ll try food you never thought you try. The mostly seafood menu it so well prepared. Plus you can watch the prepared each course. A fun night.”
“Amazing food! We did the 7 course option and it turned out wonderful. The staff is sooo super friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Can’t wait to go back next time we’re in Portland. Also holds a special place in my heart since we got engaged there. :)”
“My wife and I had a great experience at St Jack's! The service was attentive without being annoying. Water glass was never empty! The timing of our food was perfect. We never felt rushed and we never felt like a long time had passed between courses! We thoroughly enjoyed the salads and the tomato soup! Tartare was so good and portion was well worth the price!”
“I'm torn when writing this review. We had reservations for Valentine's at 6pm.
The decor was beautiful with rose petals on the ground, on tables ect.
There was no host and with several parties crammed into the entry way, one patron. asked one of the staff who said some one would be there shortly. It was not as organized as one would have hoped.
We were a party of 4. They bypassed us in line to seat couples.
not a big deal but there was no explanation. When we sat down our server did say that they had 3 service times do to the Valentine's day and that dinner was trimmed at 2 hours. She took our drink order almost 15-20 min. in.
The fist couse, a small bite of whipped goat cheve with quince paste and caviar. The pastry was not crispy and the cheese overpowered the rest of the flavors. The appetizer we choose was scallops, one was perfect seared with the second being under cooked. Same for my partners. The parsnips purree was a nice addition to the dish.
The Caesar salad was good.
The lemon sorbet, excellent.
For the main course we had Salmon. It was cooked perfect and the carrot puree was well paired. Unfortunately the accompanying broccoli was undercooked and cold.
The red velvet cake looked lovely but the ice cream was melted. Our co-dinners looked muck better. The frosting was a bit grainy and the cheese cake layer I felt had an odd texture. My partner however thought it was fine. The cake itself was moist.
Overall, it was an good experience shared with friends but I expected better. I'm sure they do a much better job when not serving dishes event style,(similar to an awards ceremony dinner or big wedding were consistently is often lacking).
I may try them again, but would not join them for another event style meal. Dinner was $125 per person not including drinks. That's not horrible for a good meal if executed well.
Again, torn with writing this since I'm sure it was due to the timing.”
“Fantastic food! Delicious!! I absolutely love the food here”
“Their lamb Shawarma seasoned with, I believe, cardamom and other things, was the most astonishingly delicious meat I've ever eaten in my life. And it's in a very nice part of town!”

“I will die on the hill that Cully Central is one of the best food spots in Portland and easily in my top 5, possibly top 3! I see other reviews say it's too salty- I love salty/savory so if you don't, keep that in mind. The Nam Khao is my favorite and I genuinely feel sad whenever I finish it because there isn't more. Second favorite is the Tom Yum. Amazing on a cold and rainy day. Lao sausage- amazing. Wings- delicious. Everything I've tried has been flav-or-ful. Anytime someone asks me where they should eat in town, I say Cully Central. In fact, I'm craving some now!”
“Burger was on point, fries were cooked perfectly and everything came out hot. That being said the person at the front counter was less then welcoming. They didn't say anything and rolled their eyes at me twice while I was trying to order. When you're wearing a mask there's not a lot to go off of. Needless to say next time I will get it to go and tip the kitchen staff personally”

“Oh my gosh. Such a delicious meal! I got the combination plate and the schnitzel was so flavorful. I've heard good things about the dill soup and it did not disappoint! We finished our meal with eclairs to go.
My boyfriend and I both agreed it'll be hard to try something new because we both loved what we got! Can't wait to back!”
“An absolute gem! Mother’s Bistro & Bar exceeded all expectations. The food was flavorful and comforting, the service was incredibly attentive, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. It’s the perfect spot for a memorable meal. Highly recommended!”
“My wife and I come here for special occasions and last night we celebrated her birthday! As always, the service was excellent, food was impeccable, atmosphere was cozy, and a very enjoyable experience. It is a small place which only adds to the intimacy of service and atmosphere. The owner is a great guy who is very knowledgeable in all his dishes and wines which were incredible as well! We love C'est Si Bon and will continue to come here everytime we want to celebrate something at a special place!”
“Everything I've eaten here has been good to very good but the menu reads better than the food tastes. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the food is somehow lacking some refinement. It's still very good and I want to return to try more dishes. The bathroom situation would be comedic for a juice bar or coffee shop, for a sit down restaurant it's kind of ridiculous.”
“Excellent! Fast, friendly service and absolutely delicious food. We had the tempura udon and curry plate. We also enjoyed the sake flight. Cannot wait to go back.”
“If you're searching for the best Haitian restaurant in Portland, look no further than Tap Tap. This vibrant spot isn’t just about incredible Haitian cuisine — it’s a full cultural experience that blends delicious food, stunning Haitian artwork, and energetic nightlife. This is easily one of the best Black-owned restaurants in Portland that offers an authentic taste of Haiti’s rich heritage right in the heart of the city.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by colorful, eye-catching Haitian art that sets a unique, welcoming atmosphere. The menu features traditional Haitian dishes crafted with fresh ingredients and bold flavors, making it a top choice for foodies like myself who are seeking something different and unforgettable.
What truly sets Tap Tap apart is its lively nightlife, especially the Kompa Haitian dancing nights. This energetic music and dance scene invites guests to immerse themselves in Haitian culture while enjoying great food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Whether you’re out for dinner, a night of dancing, or both, Tap Tap is the best place to experience Haitian culture in Portland.
For anyone looking to support Black-owned businesses while enjoying exceptional food and an unforgettable cultural vibe, Tap Tap is hands down the best restaurant in Portland for a genuine Haitian experience.”
“My husband and I ate at Palomar Recently and really enjoyed the ambiance The service and the food. We will make it a point to go again soon and I really look forward to it.”
“Finally tried Norah tonight and we will definitely be back. The service was excellent, the food came out quick and was delicious. They were good size portions. Love all the plants they have throughout the dining area.”

“The Whiskey Library is one of my favorite places in the world. The food is fantastic, the spirits are top notch, and my bar tenders are always great company. Shout out to Liz last night!”
“Had dinner for the first time at slide inn tonight. The service and food was simply excellent and we could not recommend this place enough. Everything is made from scratch and tastes like it. Will definitely be frequenting this place on a regular basis.”
“Amazing food and wonderful service. One of my favorite restaurants in Portland! The Trout was delicious the cauliflower was wonderful. The eggplant was terrific. Everything was just perfect! ”
“First time ever having this kind of food and it was phenomenal. The service is top notch. The drinks were amazing. Everything was so well prepared! I highly recommend coming with a group to share everything. It was such a great experience. Will definitely be back.”

“Love the experience, food is excellent. Chrysanthemum greens were a little tough, put all the flavors are there. Smart hospitality people throughout... Professional, efficient and friendly.
I'm a whole plant-based eater and had a great day however I wouldn't consider it the most healthy since I don't eat fried foods and use sugar or much oil.
For going out it's really 5 stars... I love good food and restaurants that are passionate about what they do, not just making money. This hits all cylinders.”
“Ate here for our anniversary. Was our first time and we will definitely be back. Great food, service was top notch, and a pleasant dining atmosphere. Give it try you won't be disappointed.”
“I make it a point to visit Canard Burnside on all of my trips to Portland! The unique flavors and presentations on their menu keep me coming back for more. Had the roasted beets last night for the first time and the flavor was out of this world.”
“Love it! Wish I lived in Portland, so I could dine her more. Delicious food and incredible service. My son and I stopped in tonight at 8:40. Knowing they close at 9, I asked if they were still seating. The hostess cheerfully said, "yes!" We were promptly guided to a table, and our waiter Finn greeted us right away. He was great! I followed his recommendation for the Dover Sole parmesan, and it was so good I almost cried. My son loved his chicken bites and applesauce. We got tasty desserts to go. Also, I had the Sunset Sparkle non-alcoholic drink, and I hope I can somehow re-create it at home. So fun. yum!! Also, our bill was $36. What!? Such a good value.”
“Tusk is great. Especially for a nice date night. The food is exquisite and the service is AMAZING.”
“We walked right in and were seated immediately on a Friday night. Enjoyed the ice cream specials and wine! Everything was perfect!!”
“Went here for dinner with the family and it was wonderful! Great margaritas, service, and food ❤️ What a gem this place is! Thank you so much for a great experience, we will definitely be back.”
“I can't stop thinking about the celery salad and the warm olives”
“If you're in northeast Portland this is one of the most epic seafood restaurants you can try in the Portland area I've been there a couple of times and have always just tried the specials as well as the creme brulee I have to say one of my favorite dining experiences in all of Portland stop in if you can it's worth it”
“Excellent teas. Steven Smith is a renowned Master Teamaker. Remember Stash Tea and Tazo Tea? He was responsible for those. I highly recommend any of the teas. You will not be disapointed.”
“Food tasted very fresh and the flavors were wonderful. They have a dispenser on the tables with mixed spices (not spicy), and one with spicy contents. I used the non-spicy powder on my Chow Mein and I was loving the flavor combinations. They also used this powder on our king oyster mushroom BBQ skewers. I think what stood out most to me was the menu variety. I admittedly couldn’t order most items because of dietary restrictions and the large amount of spicy foods, but I still love to see so many uncommon options.”
“Elegant setting for a romantic date or a family dinner. Highest quality ingredients, ethically sourced meats, handmade pasta, always a delightful experience.”
“The Mediterranean pizza was delish. It just happened to hit the spot for me. I will definitely go there again and highly recommend it.”
“Amazing, wine-first (reverse pairing) experience. Thoughtfully constructed from beginning to end. Mouthwatering dishes and delectable wines! Looking forward to next time, and definitely recommend.”
“Conveyor belt-sushi is the best! I love watching the colorful food wander by at pace, picking and choosing an item or two every now and then. Super mellow and fun. Can be busy at lunch but if you are alone it's usually easy to find a spot at at the 'bar'.”
“Chef Aaron, Chef Saxon, and their team cultivate the finest experience both in dishes and atmosphere anywhere in the country. Do yourself a favor and beg, borrow, or steal to get a reservation and see for yourself!”
“One of my favorite bars in Portland. Perfect date spot. Beautiful interior and back patio. Great lighting. Good cocktails, I love that they have mini mixed shots for like $7.

“Al Amir has been a family favorite for years. The owners know my parents, and our family are fairly regular. I honestly believe Al Amir is the absolute best Lebanese food in Portland. My husband and I just had them Cater our 10th wedding anniversary party, and everyone raves about the food. They were super generous with helping navigate our event. Please consider supporting this restaurant in catering your next event! Al Amir, much love to you all and I hope and pray your restaurant has great success, we look forward to ordering from you again. 🤟🏻🥰”

“They have a great brunch. Love the roasted garlic soup and their specials are always worth checking out. Highly recommend the gilded mirror cocktail if you're a fan of whiskey. I've never had anything here that wasn't good.”

“This hands down is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland OR. It the same quality of other top spots in the US like Nobu , O-Ya , and Morimoto . The location is perfect located in the Pearl district. The chefs are high quality and the fish is extremely fresh. They have a great but simple flavor approach. The service is warm, helpful, and appreciative. I always ask for Joy as she is a true professional and loves providing an exceptional experience on every visit.”
“I've been eating here since 2015 and ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. Top notch sushi with a wonderful staff. This is my 1st choice place for sushi in Portland Oregon”
“Must try If you’re anywhere in Portland. The place was beautiful and spotless. The Cleanliness alone is enough to stop. The food itself blew all my expectations out of the water. The focus on high-quality ingredients really shows. The proteins We’re tender and cooked to perfection. Staff was helpful and friendly. A new addition to my all-time favorite restaurants.”

“Have loved the observatory for many years. The cheese platter and fry bread never disappoint!
Wonderful bar in the back to grab some cocktails and enjoy an evening out.”
“Vegan noodles and tea leaf salad need work. I was disappointed by them especially for the price point. Noodles were just noodles, a little bok choy and mushrooms. Looked like something I would cook myself when I was running out of groceries. Carrot salad and beef curry were great though!”
“The pizza, the wine, the service are beyond wonderful. Highly recommend!”
“Delicious and beautiful food!!! I miss being able to eat at your restaurant because the atmosphere was always so relaxing and unique. Thanks for the amazing food and experience!”
“The owner is super nice and friendly. I love the decorations. Very warm and inviting. Feels like you are in HaNoi. Food is authentic. Good place to go to for special occasion or hang out with friends.”
“Had such a delightful evening at this cozy little wine bar! Perfect spot for happy hour or a rainy afternoon with a book and glass of wine. Will definitely be back :)”
“Awesome tortas! They use great quality ingredients, the way they prepare their chicken is delicious.”
“Had a fabulous dinner here! The venison special was better than any steak I’ve ever had, and dessert was just as incredible. A true gem worth supporting!”
“family friendly and a beautiful environment ❤️ Just love this place”
“Excellent food, comfortable atmosphere. We really enjoyed our dinner and the flavors were marvelous!”
“Excellent cocktails & great vibe/ambience. Limited food choices though but I guess that's by design to elevate the drinks. Will definitely visit again with more friends.”
“Amazing pizza, didn't think it was possible to have such good pizza. Thought it would be like other places but the dough and ingredients are so good and fresh it takes the pizza to a whole another level. Trust me it is the best pizza in the whole world.”
“Fantastic quality and great and friendly service. Highly recommended!”
“Always a great experience at Hale Pele. Great atmosphere. Delicious Tiki Drinks. If you arrive and there's a line, don't get discouraged, as the seats tend to become avaliable relatively quickly. We didn't eat, we just had a drink and left a out was the end of the night. Can't say how good the food is.”
“Discovered this place by accident and it was such a happy surprise, it was quiet for a Thursday dinner so we got taken care of extra quick. The drink menu was plenty and the one I picked “phuket fantasy” had me at hello. Some of the best Tom yum soup i’ve had in a while and the entrees where generously portioned and the presentation was wonderful, tried two different items, the khao san basil rice with ground pork was delicious. Can’t wait to try different items on the menu,”
“Had a very special time with our group of five. Adam made the whole experience easy and fun!”
“You cannot say anything bad about please place, sorry. They are one of the best kept secrets in Portland.”

“I'm giving this restaurant a 5-star rating because they try so hard to please everyone and you know how hard that is to do. The service was good even a little understaffed the night we went. They tried their best to keep a hundred people happy and fed. The food is ample and very affordable for a 5-course meal of soup, salad, bastilla, entree, dessert, and sweet tea. It's a Portland iconic experience everyone would love. Is it perfect? Maybe, not for tall Americans with long legs sitting on little cushion tuffs, but it's a true Moroccan slice of life for us who enjoy different cuisines and atmospheres while dining. It's a very popular place requiring reservations. People want to linger, so the turn-over is probably unpredictable. Come chill. Come and enjoy a good meal and a beautiful belly dancer as cultural entertainment. Long may the restaurant enchant our city!”
“So glad we found this restaurant, It is very small and parking is dicey but well worth it. The food is delicious and the wait staff is welcoming and friendly. The owner and chef came out to see how we enjoyed our meal. You must try to carmal custard. Will come again!”
“I have read some of the trashy comments in the 1 and 2 star reviews. Most of the lambasting comments I find fault. Are they as fresh as Mizumi in Tigard, probably not, but neither are 99% of the restaurants in Portland metro. I find the seasoning quite authentic. I find the food variety unmatched in Portland. I would love some of their recipes! The ***clown that faulted them for selling produce and other fare near the check out, obviously have never been to a Chinatown or to China. The trolling is totally uncalled for. This is a nice, appearing to be, a family operation with love and care put into the restaurant. We frequent this location and do not find any of those horrible comments to have any truth.”
“It's been getting really cold here in Beaverton and I decided to try pho for the first time. I tried the combo beef pho here was amazing! I have some allergies with MSG, so here in BEP there is no MSG in the food. My experience there was really good. With great employees and great service, I could tell that there were intention and care put into this place. Will be coming back soon.”

“My party of 5 (ages 21 to 57) were blown away by the food and service! This is a very special place - perfect for an impressive date night or a celebration. Our only constructive feedback is that our chef's choice nigiri plate arrived too early (about 5 minutes after we ordered it) and didn't contain the one special request that we requested. The black cod was ethereal, the vegetable dishes were outrageously delicious and the mushroom boa buns shouldn't be missed! Bravo!”
“I had a memorable dinner at Higgins Restaurant. I ordered their Oregon Mushroom Set Menu, and each dish reflected their respect for local ingredients. The wild mushroom bisque was particularly delicious, with a smooth texture and rich aroma. The waiter was very professional and attentive, explaining the background of each dish. The elegant yet relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a leisurely meal with friends or family.”
“One of the best brunch spots in Portland. Everything is high quality, and they even have delicious mocktails! The seasonal veggie hash was a clear winner for us. The fried chicken was so juicy and tender. Highly recommend- come early because it’s crowded and there’s always a line!!”
“I got airsickness post a long flight, so sick even water was hard for me for a while. This place's Phó Ga (chicken) is literally medicine for the soul, stomach and tastebuds. I cannot recommend them highly enough! p.s. uber eats does 50% off deals sometimes and you can get 2 "orders" (almost 4 meals worth) of phó delivered for under $40 including tip if youre on the vicinity and the quality is unparalleled to places I've been to in NY.”
“If you’re in Portland and want a dinner spot that feels like an experience, Departure is hard to beat. The rooftop views of the city are incredible, especially around sunset, and the atmosphere has that perfect mix of upscale and relaxed. Service was attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole evening feel smooth and enjoyable. Between the skyline views, creative menu, and lively vibe, Departure is a great place for a date night, celebration, or just a memorable night out in Portland. Definitely worth a visit.”

“Diego made my experience. Been so long since I’ve been to a bar in fopo with the full customer service experience! I was having a bad day and he turned it around. I never leave reviews but had to because of him! He’s fast, efficient, and still found time to sling me some of the best drinks I’ve had in Portland and cheer me up with his kindness!”
“Too Soon is a much-needed addition to the Portland scene. The perfect place to relax with friends or even actually meet somebody new worth meeting. Looking forward to checking out their awesome menu! Plus the bartenders can make anything and everything ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“My number one “fast casual” gluten free restaurant in Portland! I’m celiac and this place ROCKS. Get the dumpling and you’ll be flabbergasted. Fried chicken is quite yummy, cocktails are delish, vibe is awesome, service is wicked fast, and priced very reasonably for Portland. Worth a visit!”
“Our party of 5 had such a wonderful experience here. The delicious 5 course French and Italian inspired meal was lovingly prepared by George. It was a true farm to table adventure. Rose provided some lovely wines to enhance the entire meal. Both George and Rose welcomed our family into their intimate restaurant as if we were family. We got to meet some of their wonderful children as well. It was truly a very special culinary treat.”
“where to start, we are big good truck goers. A family of 5. makes it great when everyone can get what they want. This place is beautiful, they had a handful of trucks (more coming) but the options were definitely a mix. Something for everyone for sure. The Cuban food truck is a 10/10 highly recommend! The Cuban sandwich was the best sandwich ive had in a long time. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. My husband and kids had burgers, corn dogs, and chicken strips. The burgers were huge. super great flavor, (adding lamb burgers to the menu soon) super excited to come back to try those. Lets talk drinks, I like a good spicy cocktail, however most "full bars" offer Tabasco to spice up my drink. I hate that. I prefer a spicy tequila or a muddled jalepeno. This place has bitters. This was hands down the best spicy margarita (the house margarita with spicy bitters) that I have had since I've been out here. They have have a changing station in the bathroom. a pinball room, and a kids toys section. For families like us, little kids, picky eater, the FULL bar. This is by far the best food truck place we have went to.”

“Every meal at Grana is fantastic. I love the Tonno, Nonna, wurst, Pancetta. There’s never been a bite I don’t enjoy. The blistered peppers and the citrus and fennel are also amazing.”
