“This was my go to Indian food restaurant in Huntington Beach before being diagnosed with Celiac’s and I was so excited to meet the owner Sal and learn that he and the entire staff are so knowledgeable about the disease and gluten free kitchen practices. Sal’s mom has food allergies and so he has maintained his kitchen with strict gluten free dishes and separate areas for food prep. There are many options on the menu since most Indian food is naturally gluten free. My favorite has always been the Chicken Tikka Masala and Lama Vindaloo, but since the staff always brings out little samples of stuff I now love the Lentil Soup! And testing with my Nima Gluten Detector always shows NO Gluten Detected and I'm good to eat without fear...but I already knew that. Thanks you guys!!! Love love love this place!!!”

“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.”

“One particularly hot night my mom and I searched, “Best Gelato near me” and the top result was Mangiamo! After eating the gelato 3 times in a row, we can definitely say that title is well earned! The Double Chocolate flavor is for sure the best chocolate flavored Gelato in the whole state of California; not to mention it’s totally authentic too! The server is also incredibly kind and pleasant to talk to. Overall, this place is such a phenomenal experience and we would highly recommend it for vacationers and gelato connoisseurs alike!”

The staff are so humble and they make you feel that you are at home,, my daughters and I visited his restaurant Sunday the 16th around 11 Ish the place it was already busy and we were party of eight kind of big party, but this sweet girl with all the respect was able to accommodate us even on a busy day and pretty much she always was paying attention to our table for any needs, unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to get her name to add it on this review but overall this place is good delicious and I will definitely go back over and over again”

Like, we're already planning to come try lunch here in a few days. The prices were very fair for the portion sizes (the breakfast burrito was huge!). Of course we had to try a couple of street tacos because my husband and I are kind of on a street taco kick right now, and omg. When I say their carne asada is the BEST we've tried so far - and we've tried LOTS - I am 100% serious, it is so freaking delicious! The al pastor too, soooo good. We can't wait to come back and try more! Also wanted to mention the gentleman at the counter who served us, I didn't catch his name, but he was so welcoming and kind. He might have been the owner, not sure. You HAVE to try Roman's if you're in the area... and even if you're not, it's worth going out of the way for. Amazing experience!”

The bartender couldn't have been any more of a delight. She even had them make a patty for my service dog. I met an amazing vet Darren and his lady Becca. Hi Becca and Darren. I think we are going to be great boat friends. I have a 17 foot Boston whaler a Montauk fishing boat and and need other fishermen/women to take it out. Looking forward to many days on the water. Hadn't been in over a decade until i took my daughter and wife after our first beach trip. Felt like i had too, for the sake of nostalgia. Perhaps my review is heavily favored in a positive memory but to me I like that it's a little crowded and a tiny little place, I love the food every time (My wife wasn't too thrilled but she's born and raised for Mexico so this is whitewashed to her (she says)) and the employees do their best and i think thats far better than expected for the area and its pace. Expect a line but it's fast and worth it.”

“One of the best spots for coffee and truly exceptional food. This small shop was located walking distance from where we were staying and became a morning ritual to walk to.
The coffee is on point and the food is fresh. The first time I tried the breakfast tacos with chorizo and I was just in heaven. But I was even more amazed when I got the BLT on the homemade focaccia bread. Oh my goodness, the bread was a perfect mesh of crispy outside and soft inside. I have no idea how that did it, but I was seriously in love with this sandwich and am still thinking about it as I write this. The tomato was fresh and the lettuce was crisp and the entire thing was a culinary masterpiece (for a sandwich). The aioli on it was perfect.
The coffee is also great and I tried both a mocha as well as their regular coffee.
Everyone is extremely nice and they go out of their way for your experience. Many cyclists stop here after a ride, so keep an eye out as the place fills up!”

The bartender couldn't have been any more of a delight. She even had them make a patty for my service dog. I met an amazing vet Darren and his lady Becca. Hi Becca and Darren. I think we are going to be great boat friends. I have a 17 foot Boston whaler a Montauk fishing boat and and need other fishermen/women to take it out. Looking forward to many days on the water. The foods are quite nice and well cooked & well seasoned. As for the prices, very reasonable. Service is nice and friendly. The place is right on the corner of the strip so it has all windows from all 3 sides. So it well lite and clean plus spacious. Parking is good with front and back. “I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.”
