I had a poor quality meal in Little Tehran in L.A. last night, so the pressure was on, and Point 11 Persian Grill delivered. I highly recommend it! Thank you for making my Persian food experience in CA a good one, because I don't know what they were doing on Westwood.”

“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.”

We had just left a super-packed place in Seal Beach with a 30-minute wait, so we were pleasantly surprised to find this place much less crowded and got seated right away. The bartender couldn't have been any more of a delight. She even had them make a patty for my service dog. I met an amazing vet Darren and his lady Becca. Hi Becca and Darren. I think we are going to be great boat friends. I have a 17 foot Boston whaler a Montauk fishing boat and and need other fishermen/women to take it out. Looking forward to many days on the water. I will wear their sweatshirt with the pride I have for other veterans. Stop in and say hi. I wish I got the bartenders name. I will tell many. Love you forever!!!! Patriots”

Like, we're already planning to come try lunch here in a few days. The prices were very fair for the portion sizes (the breakfast burrito was huge!). Of course we had to try a couple of street tacos because my husband and I are kind of on a street taco kick right now, and omg. When I say their carne asada is the BEST we've tried so far - and we've tried LOTS - I am 100% serious, it is so freaking delicious! The al pastor too, soooo good. We can't wait to come back and try more! Also wanted to mention the gentleman at the counter who served us, I didn't catch his name, but he was so welcoming and kind. He might have been the owner, not sure. You HAVE to try Roman's if you're in the area... and even if you're not, it's worth going out of the way for. Amazing experience!”

The staff are so humble and they make you feel that you are at home,, my daughters and I visited his restaurant Sunday the 16th around 11 Ish the place it was already busy and we were party of eight kind of big party, but this sweet girl with all the respect was able to accommodate us even on a busy day and pretty much she always was paying attention to our table for any needs, unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to get her name to add it on this review but overall this place is good delicious and I will definitely go back over and over again”

And this location lived up top those expectations. There was a woman and her kids in front of me, and the scooper was so kind to them, and had a lovely conversation with the mom. He didn't need to, but he genuinely seemed interested and treated them as the most important customers, which I loved watching.
Of course the ice cream was delicious, but hard to choose what to choose. I went with three scoops so I didn't have to!

“This is not only the best liquor store in town, but Amir, the person I met running the store, is one best people I’ve met ever! Long story short, I lost my keys on Fourth of July weekend. My son dropped a sucker that we just bought from him outside of the store, I went back to try to buy a new one, and he gave me the sucker at no charge. During that time, however, I ended up setting my keys down somewhere outside of the store and ended up walking away from them. We searched all day and night at every surrounding store, contacted the police, etc. to no avail. The next morning on a last ditch effort, we went back to El Don’s, and to our absolute pleasure Amir found them and saved them. Furthermore - he called around to multiple motels, left people his phone number in case I went to their stores, and even called the gym I go to back home (I have a membership rage on my key chain) to try and get ahold of me. This was truly an example of a person going out of their way to be a super human. Every time I’m back in town, I’m never going anywhere else. Thank you El Don’s and Amir!!”

“Whereas I do post reviews regularly and am mostly happy with them, seldom is it that I am deeply excited to write one. That being said, my first visit to Roux was impromptu. It has been on my list but it hasn’t come up in quite a while so I forgot about it. We went around 6:15 and were greeted by a vent at the hosts desk. He asked if I had a reservation, and I didn’t because I couldn’t find a place on Yelp or their website to make one. He informed me that I could find it through Google or calling them directly. There was a large party in events room and the rest of the place was packed. He apologized twice that I’d have to wait and I told him I understood. It was literally less than five minutes! Brother, you did NOT have to apologize. We were seated in a booth toward the back and the people that attended to us were Quoc and Christine. Hands down absolutely STELLAR service! They have it down to a rhythm, top notch all the way! And with a packed house AND huge party event going on they were checking in on us often! Now onto the food. I told Christine to please give my kudos to the chef. The food was divine!! I’ve been to NOLA many times and this place is better than some places there! We ordered the Oysters Rockefeller, Mardi Gras Pasta, Shrimp & Grits, the Jambalaya, and the fried bananas for dessert. First off, you only need one entree per person, and tbh you can probably share one and an appetizer. Each dish was insanely delicious. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. And they do not skimp on anything! The number of shrimp they give you is more than ample and they are big! Not only that, the price point is awesome! I could go on and on but I’ll wrap this up so that anyone reading this puts their phone down and rushes over to this place. Roux Seafood Kitchen PLEASE don’t change a thing. What you’re doing is the way it should be done. A master class in service, food creation, and presentation! Well done…well done!”

“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.”
