“UPDATE Shortly after posting I was contacted by the owner and he has generously offered to correct this for us. Great customer service and follow up! Thank you! We are frequent customers and love the food as a rule. We have come to expect great quality meals and terrific service from The Carvery. Unfortunately today we had a slightly different experience. Our sandwiches were delicious as usual but the mushroom soup had large chunks of unblended flour (roux) in the soup. At first we thought they were chunks of potato but then realized that was not the case. The taste and texture did not make for an appetizing bowl of soup as it was very flour heavy. I called the restaurant to let them know and the lady on the phone just said okay thanks for letting us know and made to hang up. Which is fine, but no offer to replace my 2 soups or anything. A little disappointed I admit. I am posting this just so that perhaps the staff can handle this differently in the future. We will still be back, they are hands down the best sandwich shop here!”

The garlic naan is: wrap yourself up you're in heaven. Water was room temp to reduce the heat if needed but they brought a carafe which wa appreciated. Again, our server was attentive & knowledgeable about the kitchen and made great recommendations. The kitchen was on WoW mode. The food was extremely well prepared. what was left we gleefully packed to go. Is it good value? The quality ingredients and care I the kitchen says YES. This well above your average Indian Kitchen. I know there are lots of Indian restaurants in Surrey but this one will take your taste-buds places. The food; feels, smells, looks & tastes authentically amazing. The quality of the coffee here is unmatched, truly the best in town. We often recommend it to friends and family looking for a quick caffeine fix or just a cozy place to unwind.
I always order the Spanish latte, both iced and hot depending on the mood, and it never disappoints. My wife swears by the white chocolate mocha with a pump of strawberry, a unique twist that turns it into pure delight.

They had many vegetarian options, and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful when I needed help selecting items. If I had to give some constructive criticism, I would say:
1. The decor is a bit strange and disjointed. It feels more like a trendy coffee bar than a sushi spot.
2. Marking vegetarian options clearly is always helpful! Some places do this with a V, or with a leaf. You could also consider marking allergens like eggs or nuts.”

Returned for the Monday Special small 2-topping $4.95 no limit.
Arrived before opening, noticed the oven was being pre-warmed so they were ready pretty quickly after ordering. These are made to order and being thin-crust don’t need a lot of cook time.
Purchased 3: mushroom/pepperoni, ham/pineapple and double pepperoni (see pics).
Remembered to order well-done.
These were measured at almost 9”.
Didn’t expect a lot of toppings for that price.
Good price for a decent fire fried pizza.

This Toronto-based franchise is owned by a N.Delta local who invited us for lunch. The menu is large so we asked and ordered based on a few popular items:
Meat Lovers Pizza (S) $16.95, Carbonara $15.95 and Gar-Parm Wings (S) $7.95.
The dough is made fresh daily, hand-stretched and topped in front of you, today by Kanchan.
Then off to the fast fried oven for a charred crust, with the pasta and wings for a slight smokiness. If you like an extra crispy crust ask for well done.
We loved the creaminess of the carbonara with the perfectly cooked linguini, the crispy wings that were moist and tender inside and the pizza with quality toppings that were the right amount.
They offer every Monday $5 small 2-topping pizza (only slightly smaller than the 11”) with no limit.
Inside has tables for dine -in… bright, clean, music and tv for viewing.
Parking in front is shared with another franchise, with additional mall parking behind.
We’d order again when ready for another thin-crust pizza fix….with wings. Yummy!”
