“Handel’s Ice Cream is always such a treat. The ice cream is rich, creamy, and full of flavor, and there are so many great choices that it’s hard to pick just one. The portions are very generous too, which makes it even better.

“We sat outside as the weather was perfect for dining al fresco. It was also much quieter than inside the restaurant. The menu is extensive and offers items not found at other restaurants. We started with the carciofini (baked artichoke hearts with lots of cheese) and was surprised at the portion size. It was good but on the salty side. Our entrees were the linguini Luciana and veal porcini. Again we were overwhelmed by the portion sizes and only finished half. The veal was good and loaded with porcini. Service was friendly yet professional. All in all, a good experience and we will return for another occasion.”

“I’m gonna give 4 star because we love ice cream but the kid working today was the stingiest sample giver ever. Tbh I’m shocked how little was the sample, literally from corner like there is no ingredients in it me to understand actual flavor.

He ruined my ice cream experience literally. We came there happy want some ice cream, you don’t need to make us feel bad like we ask for something wrong. I thought maybe he owns the store or his relatives lol.

We were talking on the way back with my husband, if the owner would know how funny his samples, I think he would be mad. That’s not a good service.

“This is my favorite coffee spot in CA. Ruben is an incredible barista and is extremely knowledgeable about Coffee. His assortment of single origin coffee varietals is like going to a wine bar and having a tasting. He has an entire chart based on the origins of the coffee you are tasting and has direct connections to the Coffee and where it comes from. This is my go to coffee spot if I want to drink pure coffee. He will take you on a journey and give you more information than you could ever learn on your own. This is by far my favorite coffee spot in the world. Oh, and take your kids since there’s a Koi pond that you can feed next to it. If you have a home espresso machine, I highly recommend his espresso blend as you’ll pull the best shots you’ll ever make. Definitely worth a visit.”

Steel and Cass are THE BEST. We specifically love coming in for San Diego Sundays because they make it such a fun time every single time. Such a great spot to come watch a game. The service is always incredible, they are so welcoming, so attentive, and they bring the best energy. They are a huge reason we keep coming back.

The beer selection is insane too. Tons of cans and bottles to choose from, so many great IPAs, and always something new to try. And do not sleep on the food. The burgers are all so good, the black truffle burrata is unreal, and the Getting Figgy With It pizza with prosciutto added, per Steel’s recommendation, is a MUST.

Perfect for lunch, beers with friends, date night, or just hanging out for a few hours. Great food, great drinks, great vibes, and even better people. Steel and Cass deserve all the hype. We love this place!”

The Pad Thai with shrimp, cream cheese wontons, Crying Tiger, and Pra-Ram were all outstanding. And the fresh coconut juice with real coconut inside is a must try!! it was the best and most refreshing coconut drink we’ve ever had.

If you’ve never tried Thai food before, this is the perfect place to start. We’ll definitely be back!”

Upon my most recent visit, I ordered the esquites salad marked with a V. V usually indicates vegan. Cojita cheese was listed in the salad so I asked the server if it was dairyfree cheese, she was unsure. I responded I eat dairy free and don’ t want cheese or any dairy. The salad came without cheese however judging from the after effects of eating the salad, I’m certain that the dressing has dairy. I strongly suggest there is key on the menu so customers are aware vegan vs vegetarian. Also waitstaff should be well aware what items are GF, DF, vegan, etc to limit dissatisfaction.”

Is it pricey? Sure, but the food was absolutely delicious. The pork schnitzel with the greens and tomatoes was excellent, and the pureed potatoes were perfection. My husband commented that the Crown Jewel was one of the highest quality and best cooked steaks he's ever had. The kids smashed their cheeseburger and macaroni and cheese, and the french fries were actually super good.

To top it off, our attentive and kind waiter brought ice cream and sang happy birthday for our celebration! No 18% tip was added to the bill without us knowing, no one was rude, and nothing was bad. I will come back here no question when we return to Legoland - it was a highlight of the trip.”

“The taste is different, not in a bad way. With so much chicken options it is a nice kick to the taste buds. The sauce options are an explosion. One of the 4 has your traditional chicken figure taste but still unique and not a copy. The other 3 are very unique and worth the try. Chicken can be eaten plain, like popcorn chicken from other places. Only negative is the hours of operation but I understand for the area. I ordered online and it was nothing difficult, able to use Apple pay.”

“Charming neighborhood wine bar with a limited, yet delicious bar menu. It has the ambiance of a small, vintage French cafe. It has a casual vibe and it appears the local residents really like it. Only a few tables, so don't expect to be seated between 4-7pm without a reservation. We had to book a few weeks in advance...and it was worth the wait.”

“I always make a stop here whenever I'm in Carlsbad! The coffee is excellent, and the sandwiches are always fresh and delicious.

The girls working there are amazing—so sweet, welcoming, and helpful every time I visit. They truly make you feel welcome.

The cafe is very clean, beautifully decorated, and has such a cute, relaxing atmosphere. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee and unwind.

“Really enjoy coming here. I’ve been twice for breakfast and twice for dinner. Both dinner occasions were special occasions, I enjoyed eating inside more for dinner and outside more for breakfast. Dinner inside is a bit quieter and the ambiance is great. Outside was nice too but bees would fly by for breakfast and then for dinner there was a single fly trying to get our food.

Overall love it here, the service is great and food is delicious. I want to try lunch items, the breakfast portions are much bigger than the dinner portions. My favorite so far was the Scottish salmon which was a bigger portion than the Korean beef. And then their quiche, and avocado toast as well as their specialty cocktails.”

“Absolutely spectacular pizza, in a special place with warmth and totally cool staff making everyone welcomed. If you think all pizza places are the same, think again. Corner Pizza has imaginative blends of fresh spices and ingredients that make each pie a special occasion. Add to that their excellent selection of local craft beers and wines, and it walks ahead of any other local pizza restaurant. Music and a mellow laid back patio tops it off. This is a very good place. You should try it. You'll be back.”

“Food was so delicious especially the pasta! Great vibes and atmosphere especially if you can snag a table outdoors. I made a reservation and arrived on time for a party of 3 (with a toddler). Host mentioned table was not ready, but maybe in 10 minutes. Waited outside, and I went to inquire after 15 minutes. Host still said wasn’t ready but will try to engage the manager if the party doesn’t leave in 5 mins. After 20+ mins past rez time, we were finally seated. The manager mentioned there was going to be bread and dip coming out and apologized for the wait, which was appreciated. However, after getting the bill, we were charged for it. We asked & they were quick to remove it. Would love to visit again! Knocked off a star due to the wait time and needing ask.”
