Our shrimp meal was overcooked and disappointing. Yes, the flavor was great, but the actual shrimp were TOUGH, check out that curl. Thankfully the heavy-poured drinks made up for the shrimp.”

Naturally sweet beans, chocolate forward so the sweetness comes from the bean and not a burned bitter flavor. Perfect! Shop has eclectic vibe and fun stuff for sale, like cassette tapes and a view master! I recommend no other place for coffee!”

“Fresco Cocina is delicious and fun! We hosted a farewell brunch for a wedding weekend there...the buffet was fresh and beautifully displayed --chorizo, eggs, a variety of salsa and toppings, homemade tortillas, fresh fruit and mimosas. The ambiance was sunny, open and chic. Nadia, their event coordinator, pulled this together for us on just a few week's notice. She is very professional, accommodating and creative. Michael and his wait staff made sure our guests had a plenty of food and drinks no matter what time they arrived. The event exceeded our expectations. And we can't wait to go back for dinner the next time we're in town. Thank you Fresco Cociina for the perfect ending to a great wedding weekend!”

The surf and turf roll is amazing, best selection of Saki I have seen and really great service. This will be a regular destination of ours for sure.”

Some things I didn't like to see were the boxes and bags being within line of sight but not uncommon, maybe just a pet peeve. However, the clearing of the table took longer than expected. Especially being sat near the entrance.”

“This morning, I enjoyed a cup of coffee, with my wife, at Steady State Roasting. The first thing I noticed was the open and airy atmosphere. The hanging plants only added to the ambiance. My wife delightfully sipped from a latte, while I had a house coffee. The house coffee was uniquely flavored, a bit bitter. Steady State Roasting has reusable stirring spoons, which is eco-friendly. Finally, they offer indoor and outdoor seating, to optimize the moment. Yes, this experience was worthy of a return visit.”

But I can't because I have a subscription to their coffee but they sent me the wrong coffee. it's been about a week, I've call a few times, left two voice mail messages, I've emailed as well and I have not gotten any response at all. The coffee I bought and subscribed to is good, but I can't continue to do business with a company that won't respond to their customers to fix their mistakes.”

“This was a fun brewery to visit in Carlsbad. I came here with a group of adults, and everyone seemed to enjoy the food and beer. The grilled cheese and tomato soup is so delicious and worth a try. Others in the group ordered pizza and said it was quite tasty as well. Our server Michelle was awesome and had a fun personality. All in all, it’s a great place to check out. Also, the place is very dog friendly which I thought was cool.”

“Funny af they play country music & Mr. Brightside here cuz it’s westernized. But a bit pricey. Also their neon sign is so funny but camp. They also have this $180 Godzilla Challenge where if you eat 3 lbs of meat plus all veggies in 30 mins or less you get all that for free. Seems like a great place for vibes. Bar searing. Wine Wednesdays. Lunch specials. I was sus at first when I read it was westernized hot pot and was like there’s no way they can mess up boiling raw ingredients in a soup right. Actually not bad.”

“We love Paris Baguette. They have top-notch beverages and even better desserts. We make it a point to stop in once a month and have a lovely treat. They have a yummy earl great tea, and they have delicious cakes. We still need to try their crossaints and other treats, but for now, we're giving it 5 stars. The baker knows how to bake with love, and the store design and decor is warm and inviting. If you're in the area, check it out.”

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately, this is the 2nd time this has happened. I asked them to sub and they won't until I explain that I should get a credit then since the topping is included in the price. She just said she isn’t in charge. Eventually, both times they begrudgingly removed the charge. Wait, why dont they just OFFER to sub another topping or take it off the menu? Its not my problem that you are out of a topping, right?. Also, Im tired of asking for lite ice. It should just come with regular ice not filled with ice and a little tea!. It's just annoying spending up to 10$, begging for an included topping explaining i would like tea with that cup of ice and the server rolling her eyes. No thanks”

“I have reviews of several different açai providers, it’s a regular family treat for us. This location had good, but not jaw-dropping açai, prices were somewhere between normal and slightly high, service was good for a takeout-only location, but the takeout only location left a lot to be desired. It’s in kind of a trendy Industrial park that’s being converted to shops and restaurants, but no seating and a weird location mean that I probably won’t be back.”

When we walked into the restaurant, (early 8:00 am) for breakfast, there was a table that had already been serviced with about 14-16 people. Michael, the manager was already taking their order. When he was finished taking their order, he came over to our table to take ours. He told us that there was a large table before us, so it might be a while before we received our order. Surprisingly enough, within in 10 minutes!, no lie, the large table was being served their orders and at the SAME time, our order came out as well. I don’t know how they do it.
