Even the cauliflower bites have the seasoning on it. I get the ‘Cool’ style - which basically means all the seasoning but no heat. But that’s just me. It’s amazing.

The owner, Mike, is super friendly. I see him come out to talk to people all the time. He spoke with my husband and I for quite a bit. I’m so impressed at the ingredients he uses and the care he takes in hiring certain employees and then how he treats them. He seems very conscientious.

This menu centered around flowers, with floral elements in almost every dish.
Compared to traditional French fine dining, Lilo is noticeably lighter—more seafood, cleaner flavors, and slightly acidic seasoning instead of heavy, rich profiles. Very well suited for spring/summer.

A refined, thoughtfully curated tasting menu with strong atmosphere and clear identity.

“We visited Carlsbad in 2023 and of course fell in love but one of my favorite memories was waking up early in the morning, sun still hadn’t popped out, it was foggy but the temperature was already perfect. My daughter and I walked to Interim Coffee while listening to the waves crashing in. We absolutely loved the coffee shop and the vibe and yes of course the coffee was great too. Got back to our Airbnb just in time to watch dolphins swimming. Might seem like no big deal but it was such a great memory and one we still talk about.”

I sampled the chili lime mango sorbet, which was refreshing and delicious, but this time I was in the mood for ice cream. Not a guest beer. I had the docitra, or however u call it, at Board N Brew… and it was fire. It prompted me to come out and check you guys out… which I did. The vibe is hip and modern, and the seasonal offerings are very unique and very good. A winter flavor that really hit was the orange vanilla pine latte. I avoid carbs but hubby had it and it was really balanced and creative.

They sell cute and functional merch as well as the beans! They roast a spectrum from light Ethiopian to medium Mexican, to espresso roast and mix of medium and dark. Decaf, too, I observed- processed minimally.

Bonus- the food looked very premium. And the Pop Pie is right next door.

I have to admit I was there twice in one day – I didn’t mean to, it just made sense the way my day was going.

Food came to the table within 5 minutes of ordering. It was very fresh, everything was very flavorful and bigger portions. We ate here on Christmas night when it was crazy busy and we still had amazing service. Erick our server was great and friendly. It is pricey but if you are staying at this hotel and spending $500+ a night I think it would be expected that the food isn’t going to be cheap. I was very skeptical of eating here because of the reviews so I hope this helps someone out.”

“I tried to find my previous review to correct it and couldn't find it (buried). I want to recant that post. This company is a stand up company just getting on their feet. They had problems with the rush of orders and me and many others didn't recieve our orders, but they have made up for it and then some. Please, take a look at the most recent reviews and ignore the older ones, they were over whelmed and deserve a second chance they are delicious. Due to my personal health I likely can't continue with many of them. I'm a salt waster, therefore I have problems with high potassium. Many of the fruits and veggies they use are full of potassium. But dang they are good, but not worth the foot and leg cramps I get all night. 😩”

“OMG You need to try i’ve never tasted anything like this it’s so fresh food and very clean and beautiful restaurant. The Staff is amazing and very polite and helpful. i brought my family and tried the french dip, Italian flatbread, and last but not least cholula chicken. This has become my favorite place to eat it’s so fresh and healthy and if you have kids well my kids loved the mac n cheese. You and your family will love this place😁😁😁”

“We are tourists visiting the area and made reservations for this restaurant for 5:30 on 3/24/26. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:26 and after we checked in with the young lady at the front desk, were told we were too early to sit at our table and that we could either go to the bar or sit outside until she would come and get us, really?? At 5:33 our phone buzzed and someone other than the hostess came and got us, taking us to a table but not the high top we had reserved. The restaurant was maybe a 1/4 full when we arrived and only one of the high top tables had customers. We were disappointed with how we were treated by this young lady, made us feel like we were unimportant to your company. Disappointed that we didn’t get to sit where we made the reservation also. We had great service and food once we were seated.”

“Had a fish taco because I was starving but I had dinner ready at home, needed something to carry me through. It was a bit pricey but it does have 2 types of cheese, and it was really good. Would def come try the other tacos.”
