I always enjoy their vast selection of snacks, drinks, novelty items, car accessories, and other random nick knax. Their restrooms are very nice, a lot larger than most other places, and are kept pretty clean "usually." They even have showers available "for a cost." I find myself stopping by even if I don't need any gas, just to see whats new in their selection.”

“The 2 taco deal is my favorite, I usually get 2 orders with the tacos sauce packets. The seasoned curly fries are great and I like the stuffed Jalapeños and egg rolls too. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are always tasty and the breakfast menu has great breakfast burritos if you like a pretty big breakfast to start your day! And if you're usually up late like I am, there's only a few options to choose from so it's a plus that Jack In The Box is open late so I can have late night tacos!”

However, I ordered 8/4 around 8:25pm and their quality tarnished quite a bit. My DBL bonus jack combo was very mediocre, fries were cold and a bit stale, and the burger itself was supposed to be a double but it looked like a single. And the cheesecake I ordered was missing entirely. The one time I order at night the quality of the food goes down significantly.”

“It’s still so hard to rate Chinese food after eating at Kwan’s for so many years, but China Gourmet is a wonderful hidden gem in north central Salem. The service is great and the restaurant is cozy yet small. The food is delicious and flavorful and was fresh and hot. Pot Stickers were amazing. So was the Kung Poa Chicken and the Garlic Sauce Chicken. BBQ Pork fried rice was as expected and we will try a different fried rice next time.”

I was very disappointed that the cooler was completely empty. This seems to be a on going issue cause out of the last 3 orders only once did they have a choice. 2 time only one kind & today none. They’re were at least 5 people working and the two people that helped me said nothing about the free 2 liter of soda or offered any anything. For service was good but not great. I gave a tip but not deserved only cause it was not the complete experience for pickup with all the advertised promos.”

“Have driven by this establishment many times, finally stopped. What a gem! The place is unassuming but very clean. Came for breakfast, surprisingly large selection. We got breakfast burritos. Very affordable. They were huge, and excellent quality. Did I happen to say huge? Cheese, potatoes, eggs, your choice of breakfast meats and cooked to perfection. I added refried beans, crema, onions, cilantro and the salsa that came with chips...excellent! The waitstaff were friendly and helpful to non Latinos. Would I eat here again? Absolutely 💯!!! If you are looking for somewhere to eat, I highly recommend 👌”

“We were in Salem for a concert at the Elsinore Theatre on Friday, November 1st, and were lucky enough to find the Wild Pear, to get something to eat before concert. I wanted to try everything on the menu, it sounded so good! I ordered the Butternut soup & Pear salad. Both were fabulous, & I can't wait to drive back to Salem to check out other items on the menu. We had awesome service and were greeted & shown to a table right away. You will not be disappointed! I will definitely be back, & wish you were closer to Vancouver, WA!!”

“I came in on the 3rd of September and I needed a quick sandwich for my husband who was having surgery. I have never been there before but the young lady who helped me was courteous and very helpful. She was alone and she handled an awkward situation very well. My husband loved the sandwich! We will be back!”

“Been wanting to try these guys and finally went through tonight. Service was fantastic and the bloke I talked to in the drive thru was super helpful. The chicken was delicious! Tender and juicy inside, nice crispy coating on the outside. Very flavorful! I had the sweet chili sriracha and the dragonfruit sauces. Both were fantastic and paired well with both the chicken and the fries! I had a bit of a drive to get home before eating but my food was still hot and my fries still crispy when I got back. Will be back to try more of the food here. Very happy with this experience!”

“The staff was AMAZING for my Make a Wish family’s send-off party! Diana, Chris, Julia, and friends were so accommodating from setup of our table, serving food, and helping assist the final clean up. Every staff member wore Disney gear, from entire costumes and Pajama onesies to mouse ear headbands. Mirabel/Julia was a most wonderful waitress and the whole family loved her. Their team provided an entire party for us, filled with balloons, Encanto glasses, crazy straws, and even helped us setup additional decorations. I could tell they were so excited to apart of something special, and the thing is, they were the ones that made it so special. One server told me “we’ve been shopping for this for weeks!” They all smiled as they came by the table to say hello to our wish family. The entire restaurant transformed just for our wish and it was an amazing experience. My heart was touched by the joyful nature of these employees. Everyone came together to celebrate my wish kid, and I am forever grateful for their thoughtfulness. So often we talk about our wish kids bringing hope to the world, but now I realize that the hope also comes from those who come to help. “I stopped in today for the first time with my daughter. What a need inviting place to stop for a meal amd coffee. I had the turkey crepe and my daughter had the blta crepe, they were both very good! I also had the salted caramel cold brew and my daughter had an iced coffee, I can't remeber the name but it had French vanilla, caramel and white chocolate, coffees were great and not bitter.”
