“My husband and I had Saltadena do our wedding cake this summer. The cake was absolutely delicious - there was NONE LEFT at the end of the night! And there was PLENTY made to go around, but I had friends telling me they had probably eaten three or four pieces! Nancy was great to work with and worked with our day-of coordinator to get the cake delivered to our outdoor wedding during the reception so that we didn't have to worry about the heat. Perfect cake!”

“First time here, came up from everett to visit family, stopped by on the way back down.
Fantasticly friendly service from Hailee (i hope i spelled that right, im so sorry) made some wonderful suggestions for their mimosa flights for the rest of my party, and the shockingly smooth Mustache drink for myself.

Ontop of that I asked if they had any birthday things for my girlfriend, and the whole crew in back got together and Collaborated, got some delicious and perfectly made chocolate muffins, vanilla ice-cream, whipped cream, and strawberries and even put on some candles and lit them.

This place is so wonderful, the food and drinks were delicious and perfection, and the service somehow amazingly broke past that.

And ontop of that, the cost for it was super economically friendly, no outrageous prices, my wallet did not leave crying.

And the aesthetic is so cute and cozy, small little sectional alcove complimenting the structural pillars, rather than an ugly support: genius.

And the lights provide this honey sweet warmth that really make it feel like home. Especially when the washington weather switched to its normal grey and cloudy, this place felt like a beacon in the drizzle.

If I could rate this place more stars, I would. 20/10.

Sometimes I just want to be full after a meal, that can be found anywhere - but when I want to feel good, satisfied, and truly fulfilled with a dining experience, Admiralty is where I go. The drinks are on point, and never disappoint. The service is top notch; the likes of which is harder and harder to find nowadays. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The only critique I could ever come up with would be that I want more items on the menu, only because I want to try every flavor they come up with. “The avocado toast is so flavored thematically if that means totally amazing; more is totally amazing too. This town is up the line of the Washington Bay; I assume it was made by a glacier melting as it was pushed in. In the Spring now there is more melting water current in the unfrozen air. This shop is a really nice place to get food and drinks that provide and charge. It's also got really classy honey drinks that could help pilots and sailors. The name is initiative in weather.”

“Went here for my birthday with the family and it didn’t disappoint. We tried the Saganaki (fried cheese flamed at our table) for appetizer. And we decided to go with the Greek Platter for 2. This was a 3 course meal that was more than enough for me and wife and needed a box to bring home leftovers. The first course was one spanakopita and one tiropita. Both were tasty. Followed up with 2 small Greek salads paired with the house dressing that brought a nice balance and didn’t over power the salad. The main course was a HUGE platter of two dolmades, moussaka, Greek ribs and rice pilaf. These dolmades were delicious, the moussaka was seasoned, tasted amazing and held up well. And the Greek ribs was a first try for me. The meat was covered with a dry rub that is beyond flavorful and the meat was so tender. This was all served over rice pilaf that was moist Ended with night with a Greek special dessert. Coming to this restaurant for the first time we were well pleased. Will be back again for sure. Our waitress was attentive and helped us understand the menu. If you are looking for a place that puts love into their cooking. Look no further than Five Columns.”

Sydney helped us put together the menu and hosted with another couple awesome bartenders and servers, and they were totally accommodating to our group for the whole evening. I know McDonald’s is supposed to have the most formulaic impossible to make taste different food, but we all know some locations find a way to make things weird. This location always makes the food the way you crave it to be. I’ve been going here for a few months at this point and if I try a different location I always miss Samish Way. “I know this is a shameless plug, but I just finished eating a beef meat pie from Holly's, and I have to write this: I just found Holly's Meat Pies and had my first pie from them. I can't say enough about how delicious my pasty was!!!! Thank YOU! 🙏🏻 The crust is absolute perfection – not too dry, not oily. Perfectly cooked. The pie stayed hot even though I drove home. Wow! I got the beef, and the filling was perfect. The balance of the spices, herbs, the quality of the meat, the vegetables and the onion was superior and absolutely perfectly balanced. This lady has skills!! The taste is wonderful. Holly gave me samples of Ty's Barbecue Sauce and Pasty Sauce !!! Yummmmm! I tested the barbecue sauce because I couldn't resist – I'll be back for at least one bottle and it won't last long. And the pasty sauce was fantastic. I'm buying a bottle. I had never heard of putting any kind of sauce on my pasty, but I'll put this on it! The thing about the pasty is it's so good without the sauce, but it's great with the sauce, too. I alternated bites lol. 😆 Since the pasty is neither dry nor greasy, it stands on its own so perfectly that I couldn't imagine putting the sauce on it – until I tried! It kicks the flavor up a notch. I bought a frozen Chicken pie for later, and I "liberated" several menus - this is going to become a habit!!!! Can't wait to try the Vegan pie (🥧 mushrooms!!), and the lamb pie and the entire menu! Feels like I found a culinary goldmine that's right up my alley. I feel so lucky that this is in Bellingham, and that I don't live too far from it because I will be a frequent visitor. And they are so friendly- great, wholesome, quick, affordable food!! What's not to love?! 💕 I also want to say hello to Holly and to Andrea who I met today and who were so friendly & knowledgeable. “We lived, year around, 17 + years in Southern Arizona and know the great quality Mexican restaurant cuisine very well, especially from the best in the city of South Tucson. In Whatcom County, I added the New Mexico Tamale Company as the very best place to buy tamales when you don’t have the time nor skills to make your own. It’s. est to pre-order, about 2 weeks ahead, for your order to be filled. Suggestion: When placing your order, request them to add more Santa Fe mild chile puree to the selected meat or chicken product or they might be on the dry side when re-heated (steamed). Excellent service. Good quality. Their tamales are well balanced between the filling and the masa. The secret to evaluating good tamales from bad ones is whether the company mixes an adequate amount of red chile puree to the masa when mixing, to enhance the full flavor profile. The New Mexico Tamale Company does it right! Theirs are very close to the way we used to make our beef tamales at home (we usually made 12 dozen every November, for the freezer. RATING: 4.9 stars out of 5.0 stars. Give them a try, you will return for more, again and again. Would they survive in South Tucson? Absolutely !”

They had vegetarian and vegan options, and all the food was DELICIOUS. The pork and scallion wantons were total show-stoppers. The fried tofu was prepared perfectly. The crab fried rice could’ve used a bit more crunch, but the flavor was lovely.

Made sure to make this one of my first stops after moving back. I sat down at my table and kind of expected the owner to recognize me, he did, but not only did he recognize me. HE REMEMBERED MY ORDER! I haven't been in his restaurant in at least seven years.... The quality and cost are already amazing but stuff like that is why this place has stuck around. “A hidden gem. They used to have a buffet, which I didn't like, but now everything is ordered fresh off the menu. The dish my wife ordered was too spicy for her, and the waiter insisted on replacing it with mild buttered chicken at no extra cost. The buttered chicken was excellent. “We lived, year around, 17 + years in Southern Arizona and know the great quality Mexican restaurant cuisine very well, especially from the best in the city of South Tucson. In Whatcom County, I added the New Mexico Tamale Company as the very best place to buy tamales when you don’t have the time nor skills to make your own. It’s. est to pre-order, about 2 weeks ahead, for your order to be filled. Suggestion: When placing your order, request them to add more Santa Fe mild chile puree to the selected meat or chicken product or they might be on the dry side when re-heated (steamed). Excellent service. Good quality. Their tamales are well balanced between the filling and the masa. The secret to evaluating good tamales from bad ones is whether the company mixes an adequate amount of red chile puree to the masa when mixing, to enhance the full flavor profile. The New Mexico Tamale Company does it right! Theirs are very close to the way we used to make our beef tamales at home (we usually made 12 dozen every November, for the freezer. RATING: 4.9 stars out of 5.0 stars. Give them a try, you will return for more, again and again. Would they survive in South Tucson? Absolutely !”

“Share tea… it’s one of the best boba shops in Bellingham if not the best (my opinion) very friendly staff and I’ve never had a bad experience here. The owners are very hardworking people and kind. Whenever I’m in there the workers always are happy to be there.
It’s a very well decorated place too, I usually enjoy sitting and playing cards with friends/family while sipping my drink. It’s a nice little cafe with a very extensive delicious menu

He catered our son's wedding last summer and everyone raved about the food. in fact the 1st people were wanting seconds before the last folks got through the line! The server was very kind, the largest tables seat 4 but she connected tables for us to seat 5, and the food timing was great while we munched on chips and salsa. “This cafe is one of my favorites in town and I have taken multiple friends/family here! They have fun rotating seasonal drinks, a clean and visually appealing interior, dog-friendly outdoor patio space with water bowls available to borrow, and out-of-this-world scratch made biscuits. I love that I can use a punch card for biscuits and drinks too! Their roasted coffee is delicious, I especially love the birch latte. For food my partner loves the pimento biscuit sandwich, and I'm partial to the biscuit with high quality raspberry jam and butter. The indoor space is small, and it can get busy on a weekend! The huge windows are very inviting and it's great people watching from inside.”

Everything we tried was delicious and the dill pickle dip, while creamier than we thought it was going to be, was a fun and super tasty dip. Also love that it's the neighborhood cafe for Silver Beach residents! Faves on the menu: Matcha latte, dill pickle dip, burrata & chimichurri sandwich, tuna melt (on both GF and regular bread) & chopped salad! Will definitely be back!”

“The desserts here are NEXT level. My sister and I discovered this place while up from Seattle to visit our dad in the hospital. The mango Passionfruit panna cotta is ahhh-mazing. “This is a quaint little place, well its not very little sense they have multiple floors. I stumbled upon this place while waiting for someone and I am glad I did. When I walked in I was overwhelmed by lots of different kinds of yarn. After I walked around a tiny bit I decided to check out their little coffee shop menu and proceeded to order a turkey sandwich. The lady behind the counter was super sweet and she let me try all three of their different kinds of mustard. As she was making my sandwich we were talking and she was telling me how they are a nut free business and that everything they have is locally sourced. The sandwich was really good and so was the coffee I ordered at a decent price as well. So if your looking for yarn and live in bellingham this is your place! Go give them a look.”
