The specialties we tried: salmon steaks prepared in an Assamese way, delicious; wonderful and very flavourful mustard greens and a delicious potato eggplant mix. The went chef was very helpful. I called for a reservation for my girl's birthday a week in advance and the owner remembered without me saying a word when we arrived. At the end he brought her a complimentary delicious French vanilla ice cream topped with a macaron and raspberries filled with caramel. That's world class. As for the main meal, we ordered crab cakes, scallops, and I had the ribeye and she had the striploin. It was cooked exactly the way we love it and the beef quality is absolutely fantastic. The Chilean wine we had with it was fantastic. My desert was a warm pecan pie a la mode. Just delicious. This is the kind of place you would want to be at for a special birthday. We will 100% be back. Service like this isn't common in Toronto and I think you will enjoy it as much as we did.”

“Today was the first time I had A&W for the first time in years, and enjoyed it immensely. My favorite part was the iceberg lettuce on my mozza burger.
When seated and waiting for my meal to be ready, I witnessed the lady who was doing the cash, walk over to the hand washing sink, washed her hands properly, and then packed up the food. I wanted to mention that because I have read the reviews from others, about the staff not wearing gloves.
Those reviewers need to educate themselves more, or at least learn how to Google the health codes.
Gloves are recommended or required when handling ready-to-eat foods (salads, sandwiches) or if a worker has a cut or bandage on their hand, they are not mandatory.
I have my food handlers certificate btw, so I'm qualified to say this.
With that being said, the restaurant was clean, very spacious, and my favorite part was around the corner they had a place to wash your hands before and after you eat.
As I have, quite possibly, just had my first A&W experience, I am looking forward to coming back to try their frosted root beer mugs, and another burger.”

“Would give 10 stars if I could. Like others say, this place is spotless, the salads never look sketchy, and the food is DELICIOUS. When I need something tasty AND healthy, this is my go-to. I've only sampled a small bit of the menu, but the shawarma is great and unique, and the falafel is amongst the best I've ever had (cumin, salty, sesame seeds, hint of cinnamon, cripsy and cooked perfectly-chef's kiss!), and I'm a falafel head.

Portions are super generous, and in fact today I got the kids bowl (the small bowl is a full two meals for me), and it was more than enough. I noticed today they have koobideh, I'll likely try that next. All of the salads, dips, and sauces are amazing. And they have a great salad selection.

The two juices they have on tap are also great for a slightly sweet, refreshing treat! Lemon, cucumber mint shown in the pic (I ate the food!)

Oh, and the owners are wonderful, helpful, and kind. I LOVE this place. Go now.

So to say we have eaten a lot of Mexican food is putting it lightly & I can say the food here is very authentic & made with love for the food, the mole is some of the best we've ever had including in Mexico & that's saying a lot. “We were looking for a quick place to grab lunch in this plaza while our car charged. It is definitely a hidden gem. I rarely enjoy a restaurant enough to want to post about it everywhere.

We love the atmosphere - so homey and comfortable. The decor is very cute.

We arrived on a Saturday so it was a full house - seating about five tables? But service was friendly and fast. The chef brought out most of the dishes herself, which I think is so intimate and refreshing. I very rarely see that.

My food was great as well! I highly recommend their signature noodle with beef sauce (what I got) and garlic broccoli on the side. We’ll be coming here again :)”

“A likely once-in-a-lifetime experience as the chef at Sushi Kaji is said to be retiring soon. So glad to have been able to experience this restaurant, the service was excellent, and the food sublime.

One piece in particular stands out: the ebi nigiri. This shows up on many, if not most sushi plates, and it's always slightly dry and rubbery with very little flavour. The piece we were served was nothing I'd had before: moist, flavourful, and perfectly matched to the rice and wasabi. The elevation of this simple item to a work of art was a revelation.”

I absolutely love coming here, especially post gym / on an appetite because the portion ratio you get is never skimped so you will always get your money’s worth, especially protein wise.

What I really love about this franchise is that they aren’t afraid to innovate compared to Osmows, Shelbys, etc. and all those other viral shawarma places you see on instagram and tiktok are never really true to their taste, prices and hype as influencers hype it up and get special treatment in portion sizes. Example is me trying their new blueberry chicken wrap to their ramen shawarma which where are you even getting these experimentations elsewhere?

Also the service is always quick, the place is clean but the utmost is Nitish, one of the workers there who knows me as a regular and just always greets and treats me like family. Even when I order over ubereats, he just knows; That goes a long way in creating a warm and welcoming vibe and environment without that force factor.

“My husband and I were in town for the Blue Jays game to see our friends. We couldn't get tickets for the Jays game, so they recommended that we visit the Bull on Bloor in Etobicoke. This was Game 7! Do or die! We were all adorned in Jays' paraphernalia and arrived early to get seated before it got crowded. There were already many Jays fans sitting along the tables. We sat down at the bar and were greeted by a beautiful and friendly bartender, Deja. She asked us how we are. We told her we were from out of town. She knew our friends very well, and she raced around the bar to give them a huge hug. She hugged us, too! We ordered a couple of Blue Jay beer specials, and we got very comfortable. Deja was interested in where we were from and if we had family. We have two grown kids who are away at school. She showed us a picture of her adorable 3-year-old daughter. She loves her so much, and you could see she was a great mom! It started getting busier as it was closer to game time, and at this point, there was only standing room. She had two barbacks help her get the orders in. The game was on, and it was getting louder and louder as people were cheering for our JAYS! It was complete madness with so many people that you couldn't breathe. But the environment was so energetic and fun, we didn't care. We could see how busy Deja was, yet she attended to everyone's orders and never missed a beat in a professional and friendly manner. She was truly amazing! I could never handle so many people at once. The night went by, and we all know the undesirable result of the game. The entire room was in shock, and their faces were just drained in disappointment. I felt like the overwhelming sadness was shared in the room, and we all began to console each other. At that point, some discouraged people stayed and drank some more, but we needed to go. Deja thanked us, and she ran around the bar, and we all had a vigorous group hug, knowing it would be okay. We will heal. We gave her a great tip, and she thanked us and asked us to come back again. We definitely will. I highly recommend stopping by the Bull on Bloor! We made great memories and new friends.”

“I really enjoyed the sourdough cinnamon roll! This is what I have been trying to find, I love cinnamon rolls but I don’t like it to be too sweet and creamy, so this is perfect for me. And the sun dried tomatoes loaf (March special) is my favorite as well! I haven’t had this flavor anywhere before I hope this stays on the menu! Drove 40 mins the other day to pick it up.. and it’s worth it!”

“Pancakes were delicious I hope they offer pancake flights/samplers in the future so we can try different kinds without having to commit to orders of each (even the mini size is a lot!), the only frustration we had was it doesn’t state anywhere online all you can eat brunch is only on weekdays so my husband who wanted that had to scramble to find something else that was as filling but food was delicious so will be back!”

The cashier was very kind and checked in with me while I was enjoying my treats! The space isn't the most user friendly. One tiny table against the wall with a few chairs. It's best to take your treats to go and enjoy them at home. I will definitely be back to try some of their croissants next time!”
