He even put a birthday candle on our beignet order! Besides Alex’s amazing service, our beer was delicious, the food incredible, and the patio a perfect location for an overall enjoyable evening. Oh my goodness, the hummus was to die for! Perfect with our beer flights. It tops everywhere else we ate over our weekend visit, and will be the first place we go on our next trip to Bend. We highly recommend Monkless, and think you’re very fortunate to have such a wonderful employee as Alex, who made our experience there five star!!”

“The most amazing restaurant in Bend! We've been coming here for years and hopefully we'll be able to go for years to come. This is our go-to if we want an incredible handmade meal that transports us to Italy. There's care in every detail from first walking in the door to the last ciao.Their bread is divine. Don't listen to poor reviews about mixing olive oil and vinegar, they don't serve their bread with vinegar. That just tells me that user didn't actually go to this restaurant. We are world travelers and I have to say this is probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. If you're fortunate enough to get a reservation don't hesitate! Also these meals are designed to be shareable so for the full experience go with an antipasti, at least one primi and a secondi. And don't forget dessert!”

“Friday night, 6/26, our bridge group arrived promptly at 3:45 for our reservation for 15 people made online. We were told no reservation had been sent by the event table site and other dinner reservations were expected by 5:30. Nevertheless, Scott, the maître d’, recognizing our dilemma, and apologizing profusely for the mishap, asked if we could consider a compromise-the private dining room, two long tables, and our best attempt to enjoy our drinks and meals up until 5:30, which received a resounding “Yes!” We were not disappointed by any means-Scott and our server, Tristan, provided excellent, personalized attention and we all enjoyed a marvelous array of appetizers, cocktails, and amazing sourdough crust pizzas. You must try the whirling dervish small bites and the roasted olives! Thank you, Scott, for going so far above the norm! My husband and I will return for our own romantic date night, for certain!”

We tried the Kimchi Jjigae (soup starter), Amtalg (roasted game hen with a yuja sweet/sour garnish & black truffle rice), Gaji (eggplant, mushroom, onion & scallion subbed japchae noodles since they were out of the rice gnocchi), the Jujube (korean date honey) Old Fashioned, the special dessert (a chocolate mousse cake with kimchi strawberries), and finally the black sesame ice cream with pine nut brittle. Everything was really 5 stars.”

“Because of a gluten allergy I am always nervous trying a new place to dine. Manzanita recommended a burrito bowl and it was the best I’ve ever eaten. I had the Al Pastor bowl. The meat was tender and perfectly spiced with a slow heat that lingered on the palate. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. The avocado was luscious. The bowl included a seasoned rice and black beans. The portion was huge. I would 100% recommend!!”

They are doing such an over the top job with all that has come their way this year. They are exceeding all the Covid restrictions. I can work on my art and my writing. While enjoying coffee; I always do the Americano quad shot, this place for me has the best in town. Also the service here is very personal and unique, always a friendly smile that brightens my day and leave me wanting to come back for more coffee and peace. I will enjoy having my 10 year sobriety coffee coming up in April, and well as those who have read can tell; when that day arrives, I will be enjoying it at Wildroots, they are open 7 days a week so I know that day will be covered with good service and friendly smiles. I know 2 people who work there and both of them are very awesome and kind hearted Thank you wildroots and your coffee team of Barristas; I pray blessings upon you all this day and into the future. “Fat Tony's Pizza starts with San Marzano tomatoes picked when ripe so the sauce tastes vibrant. I went today for the lunch special for February and had a slice and a salad for $6.00. My beer was on special for $1.00 I ordered the Pepperoni and it turned out that I got Buffala mozzarella with my pepperoni, so I won. My slice was powerfully mouthfilling and my salad was fresh and crisp. High on value but incredibly tasty too. The slice was about 1/3rd the size of a full Pizza. I ate it New York style (folded).”

“I have visited this establishment several times a year. The atmosphere is friendly and attentive. The menu is good. The filet is excellent and the salads are great. There is outdoor dinning and indoor dinning. I do both. The grill has a beautiful interior, spacious tables are not packed together. Bar is divided by spacious booths and table seating very friendly and cool. This place is great as it allows you to come in with a suit or snow attire or a long sleeve tee. Everyone is respected. I actually bring my international friends to Gregs 2 or 3 times during their stay. Food is good/ great. People are kind/respectfull. It's clean and friendly. Staff , from the janitor (if I may) to the owner ( I have met) are kind and consider you priority.”

“I can’t say enough about the service at the Bend location. I am out of town across the country and I placed a cookie order for delivery. I put the address in wrong but Joe G., the driver called me for directions. I was in a conference so I could not talk to him. He took the cookies back to the shop and the manager Kristen called me. We went on Floral Friday and got $1 off my first drink for wearing a floral jumpsuit which added that much more to the experience. I just think you can’t beat sitting in a rocking chair, listening to great music (they play vinyls), surrounded by dogs, enjoying a great drink. When we left, my boyfriend and I both decided we want this to be one of our regular spots. What a great addition to the beverage scene of Bend!”

“Ok. The BEST in Bend and after living four years in the burrito capital of Jalisco I am a discerning burrito aficionado. My previous favorite was Don Gabinos. Still love me some DG though but WOW. Everyone talks about the carne asada and they are not wrong. No grissle and only enough fat to season. I have had both a Carne Asada burrito on my first try and I at it next to the car vacuums. Was just going to take one bite..you know the rules. Boom the whole damn thing disappeared. Next time it will be two meals because it’s so big. Then two days later on my way home from a particularly rigorous pickleball match with 3 80 year olds I convinced myself to the get a breakfast burrito. I was DONE. So frickin good. So San Diego. Top 5 I’ve ever had. The carne Asada was BETTER! Guac. Potatoes and the eggs and cheese had so much flavor. I made my wife take a bite just so next time I wouldn’t have to convince her to go to a taco truck. I am not a big eat from a truck out of paper and cardboard but this was simply the best. TRY IT!

“Cotto’s gradually become one of our go-tos. A couple arancini (carbonara is the best) + salad makes a great meal for two. I also just found that the caprese sandwich makes for a great hiking meal - left it in my bag for 2.5 hours and the bread held up perfectly!”

“A wonderful surprise! Portions were fair size, egg rolls were not greasy and mushy inside - fresh and crispy! The Pad Thai was scrumptious, the jasmine rice was good as well.
