Alex was cheerful, engaging, informative, and gave us perfect tips for both drinks and eats. He was so pleasant, has a wonderful smile, and made his feel so special! He even put a birthday candle on our beignet order! Besides Alex’s amazing service, our beer was delicious, the food incredible, and the patio a perfect location for an overall enjoyable evening. Oh my goodness, the hummus was to die for! Perfect with our beer flights. It tops everywhere else we ate over our weekend visit, and will be the first place we go on our next trip to Bend. We highly recommend Monkless, and think you’re very fortunate to have such a wonderful employee as Alex, who made our experience there five star!!”

“We enjoyed the Polpette/Meatballs and Pappardelle Alla Chiantigana Sauce. One word, DELICIOUS! The meatballs were moist and flavorful, the best I've ever had. The pasta dish was equally amazing! We went on a weekday, and it was a pleasant experience. I gave only a 4 for atmosphere because it has a crowded seating arrangement, and I would imagine on a busy weekend loud and challenging to move around. There was a table of 6 to 8 seated right in front of the door and barely enough room to walk by to exit the restaurant.”

“Once in a while, we go out and have dinner with our friends They recommended this particular place Service was prompt. We ordered our drinks which by the way were good we all had salads. Excellent. The menu was fairly limited so we decided to go with the pasta which was very very good. we all ordered four different types of dessert which were excellent. They weren’t over sweet sorbet gelato. Ice cream was very good. The shocker was it was on Wednesday which they run these great specials and on top of that surprise our friends decided dinner was on them. You definitely get your your money is worth highly recommend this place”

“Really enjoyed our dinner experience at Yoli this evening. So glad to have Korean food in Bend now. Each food was flavorful and the portion sizes are nice. We tried the Kimchi Jjigae (soup starter), Amtalg (roasted game hen with a yuja sweet/sour garnish & black truffle rice), Gaji (eggplant, mushroom, onion & scallion subbed japchae noodles since they were out of the rice gnocchi), the Jujube (korean date honey) Old Fashioned, the special dessert (a chocolate mousse cake with kimchi strawberries), and finally the black sesame ice cream with pine nut brittle. Everything was really 5 stars.”

“A fantastic little eatery hidden away and worth a visit. The gentleman tending bar (Brian) was affable, knowledgeable, and made me a great pisco cocktail. The lamb dumplings were delicious and were a perfect starter for a rainy night. Beef short ribs with bone marrow was the only logical follow for a main - and did not disappoint. I didn’t need dessert but the single burnt caramel truffle was literally only a bite more and worth the extra $5

The space is well appointed and comfortable if small. I went solo on a weeknight and didn’t need a reservation. The menu is not expansive and doesn’t need to be, they know what they’re doing. If you’re in Bend and want to treat yourself to a great meal do check out Dear Irene.”

“Jia has become one of my hands down favorite and most frequented restaurants in Bend. 🤩 Jia is an asian fusion street food forward concept, with some incredibly creative and delicious dishes. The food and drinks are always spectacular, with brilliant and creative flavor profiles on display in their Spicy Noodle dish with minced pork, Saigon Bowl with Vietnamese noodles, Pork Belly Baos, Chicken Pho, and Far East Chicken Wings, which round out some of my fave dishes. They also have a well curated mixology approach, at the helm of master mixologist Tou, offering elevated craft cocktails that are among the best in Central Oregon. Their staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, talented, and keenly insightful with their knowledge of the menus. The restaurant's design concept and vibe are absolutely stunning, and it’s uniqueness is unlike anything else in Bend. It looks and feels like a trendy restaurant that would fit nicely into a more notable food scene like Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and beyond. Definitely add Jia’s to your short list to visit immediately, and I'm always eagerly anticipating my next return!”

If you’re looking for a simple, friendly, clean place with great authentic Mexican food and plenty of it for the price, then you’ve found your sweet spot here. I’ve tried a variety of menu items here over time, and all them have been delicious and quite the value. I particularly love the variety (and taste/heat) of the hot sauces available to compliment my entrees! This place is a bit inconspicuous (and unpretentious, to say the least) but absolutely worth a try!!”

“The a la carte menu and food were great. We mostly had the idli and dosa and they were excellent. The Sambar and they chutneys on the side was hella good!!
Not to diss the other Indian restaurant in Bend, but the Taj was wayyyyyy better than the other one.

Vegetarian options: The idli, sambar and dosa are probably even vegan, surely vegetarian.”

“They are the best!!! Perfectly creative drinks, we had the cucumber & wine freeze! I had the chicken bowl and my husband had the falafel bowl. Both were better than anything I can make at home. They are doing such an over the top job with all that has come their way this year. They are exceeding all the Covid restrictions. “They were out of a few flavors, but I went with white chocolate peppermint and dulce de leche and they were amazing. My boyfriend got their vegan chocolate and it basically tasted like the real thing. Atmosphere was the same as a lot of other trendy ice cream places.”

Truly a gem. Very reasonably priced ham and cheese croissant with a fruity herby jam. Mocha with a house made chocolate mix, not too sweet just how I like it.

And the atmosphere is somehow utterly charming and relaxed while in the middle of a bunch of busy streets. The outdoor seating area is ample with dappled shade, and adjacent to the coolest group of independent artist workshops, galleries, and other spots I’ll have to explore later.”

Hubby informed employee of his severe nut allergy and we were happy to learn that the only things that contains nut is their sour cream and peanut butter rub used for their seitan ribz. After looking at the menu for a few minutes, and seeing the list of ingredients for their vegan mac 'n cheeze sauce, I ordered the St. Louis Style Ribz with mac 'n cheeze and a special vegan Cuban sandwich with kettle chips while hubby ordered the classic mac 'n cheeze with tempeh. Upon picking up our food, we were impressed by the presentation of the food, the portion size and the combination of flavors. This vegan food cart is a must visit!”

“Croutons is like a better Panera, specializing in soups, salads, and sandwiches. They have one of the best grilled cheeses I've ever tried and delicious ciabatta bread. It's a great place for a quick and healthy lunch. Service is efficient and the restaurant is clean and casual, a good place to eat.

Parking: There's a small parking lot attached to the building but it's stressful and can be hard to park in and get out of. I would honestly park in the streets.”

“I love Carls Jr, it was always one of my favorite restaurants growing up. But let me tell you, this one is special. My favorite burger is the double western bacon cheeseburger and I like it a certain particular way. It's rarely exactly how I like it, but the ones I get from this store are absolutely perfect. And with a side of fresh crisscut fries, it can't be beat. The manager is also very kind and friendly, she reminds me of my sister. I feel welcome when I'm there. It's like home. Would recommend to anyone looking for great food and a comfortable atmosphere.”

“It's a very peaceful atmosphere, at least for me, I been to many in town; Each with good coffee and nice atmospheres. Wildroots in particular for me is my coffee home. I can work on my art and my writing. While enjoying coffee; I always do the Americano quad shot, this place for me has the best in town. Also the service here is very personal and unique, always a friendly smile that brightens my day and leave me wanting to come back for more coffee and peace. I will enjoy having my 10 year sobriety coffee coming up in April, and well as those who have read can tell; when that day arrives, I will be enjoying it at Wildroots, they are open 7 days a week so I know that day will be covered with good service and friendly smiles. We finally finished ordering… we looked around at the restaurant was empty but it was very clean and beautifully designed… we sat down and waited for our food again I watched the servers not very friendly or interactive with the guest , but to my surprise the food was served pretty quickly it was hot fresh and very delicious!! No doubt I would come back for the food hands down!!!! I just wish the service was better trained!! Because the restaurant had all the right ingredients for success except the service .”
