Coby led the journey this evening full of excellent choices. I highly recommend this place for a very romantic dinner of conversation with amazing food and even better staff. We will be back!”

We actually had a small medical issue with our son and the owner was so helpful, wise, and kind. The food was really good but the people there are even better. 5 stars all the way. Thank you. “These are the most amazing tacos I have had. I left Northwest Arkansas and came down to Austin and had many tacos, from many spots along the way. These were the best! We drove over an hour the next day back to the Taqueria for some more!! Must try, if you haven't. The watermelon agua fresca was amazing as well.

Jasper’s is exactly the kind of place we like to find. The brisket was outstanding. I had the Waco Tornado and it was the best meal of our trip in Texas! Highly recommend!”

“Our waitress, Felice, was amazing. She recommended us different wines that suited our palate and our glasses of the different wines were delightful. We created our own board (3 for $25) with Mahon cheese, jamon, canned mackerel, and salchichon. The board came with pickled onions, pickles, nuts, mustard, and some preserves. We also ordered the duck breast which came with a black currant wine glaze and the meatballs appetizer. Everything was delicious from the wine choices to the food. Service was great.

“George’s was hands down one of the best meals on our trip so far!!! Our server, Coco, was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She took the time to help us decide what to order, and every recommendation was spot on. We started with the Bear Bites. They are practically a meal all by themselves! Then Coco suggested the blackened shrimp tacos for Chad, and he was completely blown away by how good they were. I ordered the steak fingers, and they were perfect. Super tender on the inside with an incredibly crunchy coating on the outside. Exactly how steak fingers should be! We both got the onion rings, and geez, they were HUGE! The Texas portions were so big that we ended up taking a ton of food back to the hotel. Great food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. Coco truly made our experience memorable. Thanks again, Coco! If you ever make it through North Carolina again, give us a wave! 👋”

Her recommendations were spot on. Every dish she suggested was fresh and full of flavor, and the whole meal felt thoughtfully put together rather than just ordered off a menu.
Eating alone on a work trip can feel a little lonely, but Madison made sure it didn't. She checked in at just the right moments, without ever hovering, and made the whole evening feel easy and special.

Perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor. You could tell there was care in every detail, and John made sure we didn’t miss out on one of the best things on the menu. What really sets him apart is his presence throughout the meal. He anticipated needs before we even had to ask, his timing was seamless, and he struck that perfect balance of attentive without hovering. It felt effortless, but you can tell it’s not, it’s skill. The salads were fresh and delicious. The portions and the pace at which the food arrived were perfect. The steak was the most decadent juicy flavorful medium rare. The scallop was the most perfect scallop I've ever eaten. The sautéed veggies were crisp and flavorful. But that bread pudding almost made me cry. it's the best I've ever had. From the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out, the experience was truly incredible. The next time we're in Waco, we will definitely be back, but we will have to call ahead and make sure that Jordan is working so we can have the same elite service that we experienced today.”

Dumb a** me left my wallet at the restaurant and didn’t realize until getting ready to leave for the airport at 0830. We stopped by the restaurant to see if it was still in the outdoor eating area…nope. Luckily, ran into the contractor doing some work…he called the owner, the owner confirmed it was in the office safe. After hearing I needed to make the AM flight to DFW for connection to home, he dispatched an employee to go in on a planned closed day to get my wallet. This kindness allowed me to make my flight…what he didn’t know is this act of kindness was critical because I had a new job in-person interview scheduled for the next day. Forever grateful. THAT is customer service. Thank you so much! Tells a lot about the culture and dedication to customers. Keep up the awesome work…I will be back. Promise to keep better accountability of my wallet!”

“Wow. It was so good! I have seen Roni's Facebook videos so much and have ALWAYS wanted to try it. I stayed in Albuquerque last night and was perusing through GH and lo and behold...RONI'S showed up! I went relatively basic; Cheddar n Gouda (extra), Brisket, Mushrooms. I almost got breadcrumbs but didn't pull the trigger on that one. They sent regular garlic bread instead of cheesy garlic bread but I couldn't bring myself to complain because it truly was so good, I didn't want to waste my stomach space on bread instead of the mac. The next closest one to us is in Missouri (4 hours away) so it will be a while. But I can not wait to have it again! My sister in law lives in southern Alabama and I have officially informed her of the Auburn location and of my life changing mac experience! 10/10 recommend. PLEASE COME TO CHAMPAIGN-URBANA, ILLINOIS!!!”

“If you have never had a fish taco, let this be your first. It was my first time to ever hear of a fish taco or try one in San Diego in the mid '80s. I have never been the same. Nor have I EVER had a fish taco that even compares. My brother introduced me to Roberto's while he was in the Marine's. When he said I had to try one, I was horrified. A FISH taco??? Those were not a thing in Texas at the time. And bless his heart. I've never forgotten that experience or that taste in Cali. When I found out there was a Roberto's in Waco, I had NO idea it was related to the taco shop in SD. CAN YOU IMAGINE MY TOTAL SURPRISE? “In town moving my daughter into her new apartment, came to Logan's for dinner. The best choice we could have made!! Got their sirloin steak, was the best steak I've had in a very long time. Cooked perfectly, was amazingly tender, seasoned fantastically! If you have no other reason to go to Waco, having a steak here is reason enough! To top it off, the staff is wonderful. “Visited Cultura Mia Mexican Cuisine for Mother's Day Brunch, food taste and presentation was very good, they do have the best chilaquiles, we tried the green and chipotle, also tried the pork chop and eggs, huevos rancheros, and chile relleno were also very good. Not fond of having to pay for hot sauce and chips, but the sauce is tasty. Place is clean and service is very good. Got to meet the chef/owner and we complimented him on the wonderful food taste. Will have to go back and try their other dishes for lunch and dinner. Totally recommend visiting this authentic Mexican restaurant, not your regular tex-mex food.”

“My friend and I went to the Waco Olive Garden for lunch today to celebrate my birthday. Heavenly was our server, and she was professional and friendly.
We both had salad, and I ordered the lunch shrimp scampi. The serving size was larger than expected, and I added sun-dried tomatoes, which were a delicious addition.
We had the Italian donuts for dessert, which I absolutely love! The raspberry and chocolate sauce, sauces, make it extra delicious.
The restaurant was clean, well staffed, and the parking lot was also very nice. My only comment would be to turn down the music in the bathroom. It was very loud.”

Her recommendations were spot on. Every dish she suggested was fresh and full of flavor, and the whole meal felt thoughtfully put together rather than just ordered off a menu.
Eating alone on a work trip can feel a little lonely, but Madison made sure it didn't. She checked in at just the right moments, without ever hovering, and made the whole evening feel easy and special.
