“Add Segovia to your list of places to eat/drink in Waco!! The venue is darling, service is top notch (thank you to Courtney), and the wine and tapas are perfection. I can’t wait to go back for Saturday jazz music. Segovia is a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations at every turn! Thank you so much Courtney for what you and your husband have created in Waco.”
“way too expensive. Atmosphere is Nice. ribs are soft and pull off bone with perfect bark, however too sweet for my personal taste. I like savory spicy. brisket was good but should have gotten marble like last time. last time flavor was better and meat was hot and fresher. sausage was a no for me personally it tasted grainy and was barely warm. Mac and cheese is good and husband said potato salad was a 3 or 4. best barbecue is Southside Market-Flavor, Henry's in Austin by the airport.”
“The restaurant has flourished in the last year. Have tried multiple entrees and appetizers and all have been excellent. Highly recommend”
“We were in on Christmas Eve. Short handed crew, crowded with customers. Alexis and (Butter)John along with the duty manager took care of us like we were the only people there! The kitchen did an excellent job on the steaks and the vegetables were perfect. Baked potato was as usual, ready to eat with plenty of butter, and hot. Got spoiled by these guys! Happy for sure.”
“Have you ever been walking down the street and see a place that looks interesting? This evening my wife and I saw the doors and stepped in. No we didn’t have a reservation and beyond excited to see they had a single open table. I make it a habit to ask the waiter what they recommend and let them plan my meal. Coby led the journey this evening full of excellent choices. I highly recommend this place for a very romantic dinner of conversation with amazing food and even better staff. We will be back!”

“One of the coolest spots in downtown Waco; Friendly knowledgeable bartenders, lots of custom ales from dark to hoppy to fruity- locally brewed. If you like beer, this is the place! They have fun activities like Music Bingo, Trivia, Live Music and more! Check out Waco Ale Co!”
“This is definitely my place to hang out. They have great bartenders. Alex is one of the best. He is always smiling, very talkative, and makes great drinks. Come have a drink with him. Ask him for a recommendation.”
“Top notch steakhouse with great service. We had our Valentines dinner that included pork medallions for appetizer, perfectly cooked steak with Brussels sprouts and pecans. Delicious desserts such as chocolate cake and cheesecake with a scrumptious raspberry sauce.”

“We ate at Waco Waffle today. They had a lot of business but still got everyone in and with their food in an impressively timely manner. We actually had a small medical issue with our son and the owner was so helpful, wise, and kind. The food was really good but the people there are even better. 5 stars all the way. Thank you. (and our granddaughter loved watching the water wheel at the big window)”
“Love the freaky Friday cake; but the service sucks! If kids don’t want to work then they don’t need to because all they do is make the experience suck! Went in and got waited on by a tall skinny curly hair kid, I didn’t get his name but he was African American, he has an attitude the whole time, no friendliness at all and all I got was a 4 pack and he had no rush to make my order and I was the only one in there. Kids just gotta do better! I was there on tuesday.”

“Every experience I've had at Poppa Bear Boba has been fantastic! The owner is just amazing, and on top of that, both the drinks and the food are great! Forgive my spelling, but the sandwiches are phenomenal, and you can't go wrong with a Tai tea. .y wife prefers sweet stuff, and had the coconut cream milk (might be the wrong name, but you'll see it), and it was delicious...though a bit sweet for my palate!
I highly recommend them, and hope you'll give them a try! I've heard the Pho is great, and the weekly specials just seem delicious! I'll definitely be going back!”

“We ordered the Alaskan Wild Caught Salmon and the Contadino Pizza. The salmon was cooked per fectly and the pizza was amazing! Don't forget to treat yourself to one of their beautiful desserts. We recommend the Torta aAl Cioccolato which was out of this world!”
“I had lunch with daughter and granddaughter. It was my second time eating at your establishment. Everything was wonderful. So pleased with the fresh, delicious food. The waitress was so nice and efficient. I'll be back again, and again!”

“We had the Chef’s Table for our engagement dinner and it was wonderful and well worth it!! Felt like we were at a classy and romantic spot in a big city but it was in Waco!! Thanks to Graham and the whole staff for the hospitality and great service. Would come back again for a special occasion!”
“Top notch steakhouse with great service. We had our Valentines dinner that included pork medallions for appetizer, perfectly cooked steak with Brussels sprouts and pecans. Delicious desserts such as chocolate cake and cheesecake with a scrumptious raspberry sauce.”
“First off the customer service is unbelievably great. We have an ADA wheelchair family member and it was completely accessible. They made space for us with no complaints. Treated us great, made our experience wonderful server, food, hostess. The prices and menu are great variety. Can’t recommend it enough.”
“This hotel and bar is the best. The service is beyond reproach. The bartender and all the staff are superperb. I'm hard to please and I was sceptical to visit and stay in Waco, but this property surpassed expectations. Alex and Kenny B. were so friendly and engaging. Will definitely return to this hotel. I felt like I was on a mini vacation. This experience far surpassed expectations. The room is clean and the property overall is immaculate.”
“Such a gem! The food is always on point, but the service is consistently impeccable! From the carpaccio, bruschetta, roasted beet salad, and burratta to the fish entrees , pastas, & and cocktails, I have never been disappointed.”
“Food and services were awesome! From the variety of cuts and flavors. Lots of choices for everyone’s palate. Does get a little hot in there because you’re grilling at your table so dress light. Family had a great time and its added to our Waco favorite places to go.”
24 Hour Restaurants
“Was a little busy when I came in but the employees were all nice and knocked the line down. I had forgotten to add some cookies to my online order but the employee did not mind ringing them up for me quickly. Will definitely be coming back again! So far one of the best subways I've been to!!!”
“We will from now on be forever stopping at this specific location anytime we come to Texas from Chicago. From the second we walked in we were greeted with a smile and our cashier Phillip S. Had all the patience in the world for us and was extremely helpful. The crew at 5am did an awesome job. Ty guys :)”
“It’s great to have this as an option for late-night cravings. The food was hot and tasty even at 1 a.m. There were a couple of homeless individuals using the parking lot as their home for the night, but they kept to themselves and didn’t display any disruptive behavior.”
“Had the pleasure of being waited by Ethan C today. In translating the menu, handling the front by himself and getting change twice he was very pleasant and professional. Our frustration came when you could see help was needed and two managers where conducting an interview. In my opinion one could have helped with the line, went to get change or ran orders instead.”
“Awesome waitress. Membership benefits are amazing. We go to BJ’s several times a month.”

“Everything was perfect. Jordan was incredible. He made us feel as though we were top priority. His recommendations were spot on. The calamari was cooked perfectly. The salads were fresh and delicious. The portions and the pace at which the food arrived were perfect. The steak was the most decadent juicy flavorful medium rare. The scallop was the most perfect scallop I've ever eaten. The sautéed veggies were crisp and flavorful. But that bread pudding almost made me cry. it's the best I've ever had. From the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out, the experience was truly incredible. The next time we're in Waco, we will definitely be back, but we will have to call ahead and make sure that Jordan is working so we can have the same elite service that we experienced today.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Came all the way from California to visit friends in Texas. I love me some BBQ so they took us to Papa Jacks. The food was outstanding best BBQ I ever had. The Brisket and pulled pork was the best. Family run and it was like going to a family reunion. They treat you like family.”
“Visited Cultura Mia Mexican Cuisine for Mother's Day Brunch, food taste and presentation was very good, they do have the best chilaquiles, we tried the green and chipotle, also tried the pork chop and eggs, huevos rancheros, and chile relleno were also very good. Not fond of having to pay for hot sauce and chips, but the sauce is tasty. Place is clean and service is very good. Got to meet the chef/owner and we complimented him on the wonderful food taste. Will have to go back and try their other dishes for lunch and dinner. Totally recommend visiting this authentic Mexican restaurant, not your regular tex-mex food.”

“This place is delicious!! I got the Brisket Bowl and it was absolutely amazing! Brisket, sausage, beans, Fritos, and cheese…a perfect combination. The homemade ranch and banana pudding were to die for!! The stuff was super friendly and the restaurant was very clean. The close when the food runs out so better go for lunch or an early dinner, it’s worth it.”
“What a wonderful surprise! Don’t let the neighborhood keep you away. I had the gyro plate and the meat was so tender I cut it with my plastic fork…like butter. It was delicious. The hummus was great as well as the chicken kabob. I especially loved that it is family owned and run. A very special place. We will be back.”
“The food overall was fresh and tasted pretty good. Surf and turf burrito was quite the mix of ingredients but it worked well. Portions were fair for the price. Only disappointment was the red sauce, I'd probably give that a 3/10 way too much tomato flavor not enough chile cilantro etc. Verde sauce was pretty good though, easy 7.5 or 8/10. I'd smother a lot of stuff in that green sauce.
There's enough variety that you may want to experiment with the menu until you find a favorite dish. I would happily order here again, but I'm not going out of my way just to get some if that makes sense. I'll give it a solid 7/10 with room to grow, which is quite good for a new place.”
“Great food and wonderful service! The waitress wad cheerful and informative! (our first time there) The only suggestion I have is that the chairs were very uncomfortable. It wasn't just our table of seven. I saw other customers struggling. just a consideration to think about. I give the a 4.9”

“Heritage Cafe has a very nice ambience peaceful, clean, and beautifully decorated. I had an affogato and it was awesome! The flavor was rich and delicious. The espresso was a little on the bitter side, but still really nice.
The atmosphere made it such an enjoyable stop. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!”
“Great fun atmosphere with great people!! A great outside band venue on a Monday night which is at a perfect time to still successfully bring lots of people out even at the beginning of the week. Fantastic!!”
“Best Salmon and dirty trap ride I ever had.. Ate on it for 2 days”
“My family and I stayed at the Pivovar for my daughter’s wedding in March 2025. The restaurant was fantastic and the rooms classically authentic. It is a beautiful hotel and is central to everything downtown Waco has to offer! Will definitely be back to try the beer spa! 🍻”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“It pains me to give them anything less than 5 star, but I needed to write something about how bad the pumpkin spice ground coffee you get from there is. Almost every other ground coffee is good. However, this year's seasonal is horrendously weaker and lacking of any actual coffee flavor. Again, everything else about this place is phenomenal and I highly recommend going here. Just do not get the seasonal roast.”
“Wow. It was so good! I have seen Roni's Facebook videos so much and have ALWAYS wanted to try it. I stayed in Albuquerque last night and was perusing through GH and lo and behold...RONI'S showed up! I went relatively basic; Cheddar n Gouda (extra), Brisket, Mushrooms. I almost got breadcrumbs but didn't pull the trigger on that one. They sent regular garlic bread instead of cheesy garlic bread but I couldn't bring myself to complain because it truly was so good, I didn't want to waste my stomach space on bread instead of the mac. The next closest one to us is in Missouri (4 hours away) so it will be a while. But I can not wait to have it again! My sister in law lives in southern Alabama and I have officially informed her of the Auburn location and of my life changing mac experience! 10/10 recommend. PLEASE COME TO CHAMPAIGN-URBANA, ILLINOIS!!!”
“1 - Excellent food…fried pickles appetizer gone in 60 seconds; burgers were awesome; tater tots add beyond yummy…and stay crispy enough for next day breakfast ( because they give you a portion that you WILL have another meal) 2 - Speedy, friendly customer service…very attentive staff….we tipped well over the standard 20% because it was so good! 3 - beautiful, lively atmosphere…air coolers for outdoor eating, which we chose despite the heat/humidity Most importantly, I was an out of tower and this was my last meal with local family before flying out the next morning. Dumb a** me left my wallet at the restaurant and didn’t realize until getting ready to leave for the airport at 0830. We stopped by the restaurant to see if it was still in the outdoor eating area…nope. Luckily, ran into the contractor doing some work…he called the owner, the owner confirmed it was in the office safe. After hearing I needed to make the AM flight to DFW for connection to home, he dispatched an employee to go in on a planned closed day to get my wallet. This kindness allowed me to make my flight…what he didn’t know is this act of kindness was critical because I had a new job in-person interview scheduled for the next day. Forever grateful. THAT is customer service. Thank you so much! Tells a lot about the culture and dedication to customers. Keep up the awesome work…I will be back. Promise to keep better accountability of my wallet!”
“Christi’s has the best hamburger in all of Waco, Tx. It’s actually in Bellmeade one of the many suburbs of Waco. We’re always welcomed with a hello and a thank you on the way out. This is the place to come for an old fashion delicious grilled burger. So tasty. No one does it better”
“Great breakfast/brunch stop while traveling from Dallas to Austin! The staff was very friendly and patient with my two picky eaters. The only suggestion I’d make is to offer regular pancakes for kids, since some little ones might not love the wheat version. My 9-year-old and I thought they were delicious, but my 6-year-old didn't because it was wheat . He's just a picky eater!
I really appreciated the healthy menu options. Parents had the avocado toast with poached eggs, and it was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!”
“Great hospitality. Meat pattie nicely spiced and a good appetizer. Owner gave us a taste of the pomegranate juice drink and we got that, as well as the pineapple ginger beverage. Loved my jerk chicken (big portions) and my husband loved his red snapper. Will definitely be back, wherever they're located!”
“Allergies….my wife has developed severe gluten, dairy and egg allergies in the last few years. YAKI specializes in food prep WITHOUT allergy concerns!! They came up when we looked up gluten free options while visiting Waco and what a God-send! We spoke with Jake and encouraged him and the vision he has for helping people that can’t partake in regular food! If you’re in the Waco area, I highly recommend YAKI, whether or not you have a food allergy! I would really like to see YAKI branch out to serve more people, so help them out! EATYAKI!”
“Two of us ate here on Feb. 19th after I'd had a medical procedure done. It was really windy and cold that day. Parking is in the back. We were greeted as soon as we entered and told to pick our own table. It's a small place and there was a gas heater going which made it even more cozy. The food was great and the two ladies were so sweet and attentive. We've told multiple people about Kitok and will 100% be going back when we're in the area. We found it sort of by accident, but that was a great accident. Everything we had was great, try it all!
Parking: Parking is in the back.”
“Well trained staff … seemed genuinely happy to work there, excited to see us and try their food. So welcoming. Been a long time since I’ve received genuine customer service. We will be back. Also- kids got rolled ice cream and she really got the kids excited for their treat! 💕”
“Just went back today after our previous bad experience. It was great. Ribeye tender and juicy. Owner definitely takes care of his customers if aren’t happy with your experience. We’d definitely recommend it”
“Love, love, love this place so much. They make everyone feel like family as you walk in the door, so many events and things to do. $2 wine samples and wine memberships are the best, I can try everything before I decide what I want. Live music, paint and sips, happy hour, business networkingbevents, day parties, graduation parties, retirement parties, just love coming here. There is a small room in the back that looks like a library just so cozy, great girls nite get away! Just here downtown in Waco!! #meetmeatmaries”

“Got the $15 super pupusa, and boy did it not disappoint!!! It was delicious, had excellent flavor, and it wes big!! Filled up a standard plate to-go box. If you need bigger than that, they got what you need!! Hole in the wall with excellent flavors. You may have to wait a little bit because there is only 1 person working, but I promise it will be worth it!! I saw them on Facebook months back, and just happened to remember before I left Waco to return to Houston...”
“Delicious food and phenomenal service! I had the carne asada tacos. The meat is delicious and so flavorful. They have so many salsas to choose from. I love how everything is so fresh and made by them. That’s not easy to find. Their service is also worth noting. Everyone working there is so friendly! 10/10 food and service.”
“Cute coffee shop that’s on campus. However, $7 for a small vanilla iced latte on a college campus is a bit steep…this coffee shop has been on campus for many years and has a unique characteristic to it but definitely was not expecting the price to go up to $7 for a small…
Having prices on the menu in the drive thru would be helpful too…the only prices available on the menu were their food items…their breakfast sando being like $6.50, lower cost than my coffee…”
“Our first visit to King Noodle, was quite a surprise. Don't expect your typical Asian Restaurant here, it's more like a Ramen/Pho' Dining experience. Our food was fabulous, extremely fresh and flavorful. We will definitely visit again, anytime we have traveled to Waco.”
“Y’all ASK FOR NATALIE!!!! She is a top tier server! Hands down I love me some hometown food, but amazing serving like that is WHAT WILL KEEP MY FAMILY COMING BACK!!’”
“Great food, great atmosphere and great service. I will definitely be returning for the Wagyu Steak Enchiladas (Iron Table Steak Enchiladas).”
“Absolutely love this place ? I come every Sunday when the cowboys play and everytime the guys always have great attitudes and are funny. The ranch is Bussin . I get extra ranch and never have to pay. Suck on that ”
“Recently opened in a newly reimagined building, it is a downtown treasure. The feeling is intimate and nostalgic - fulfilling the dreamed intention.
I recommend that you take your time when you visit. Bring your cell phone but only for pictures. Step out of the 21st century and be transported to the time your great grandparents were courting.
Allow yourself to revel in a time of elegance and enjoy each other's company.”
“Amazing place! Food, drink, atmosphere and service.....All fantastic!”
“Great live music in an intimate & energetic environment. Good drinks and a variety of food.”
“Quality meats and great customer service. They also have great kolaches and some baked goods. :) prices are fairly low too. We come at least three or four times a month.”
“Sunset, delectable food and fabulous service! Basically, you can’t go wrong here. I struggle to order anything but the Margarita Chicken, but I’m told that somehow the chicken fried steak is better. Desserts definitely feed 2 or 3 easily. Don’t rob yourself of the opportunity to enjoy some of the best food in Waco!”
“Everything is always excellent! The service is always fantastic. Great atmosphere and location.”
“I was on the hunt for a last-minute spot to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, just a week before the big day. Everything else around us was around $350 for a small party, which felt like a lot. Then I stumbled upon Chuck E. Cheese's awesome birthday deal—just $99 for a party for six kids! The kids had an absolute blast! It’s surprising how much has changed at Chuck E. Cheese since I was a kid, but I’m so happy we chose to celebrate there.
Now, we've been going back regularly and have even signed up for their $29.99 monthly deal, which means my girls and I can visit every day if we want! Plus, we get a fantastic 50% off all food. I really think it’s an incredible deal!”
“Great hang out spot you just have come and feel the vibe for yourself too see come on down”
“These are by far the best wings in Waco. I saw the other reviews and idk what they’re talking about. The wings are smoked and the meat falls right off of the bone. I will definitely be back soon.”

“I really hate that I liked this place so much, but it’s good chicken. I heard the story on a podcast and happened to drive by one, so we stopped in. The sliders are the size of a regular chicken sandwich, the tenders are the size of a breast fillet and the flavor slaps. Chicken was moist and crispy with the prefect spice level. (I got the second to hottest) Spice was perfectly spicy, my kids got the medium which was still tasty. The pickles are perfectly crispy/sour as they compliment the chicken bite!! Fries are dusted with some of the spice powder and every bite was crispy with flavor. The slaw was a classic slaw, just your ordinary slaw; slap it in a sandwich and the perfect compliment!!! 9/10 would recommend! Try it on for size if you like fried chicken tenders all ways! I would love some bone in chicken but this was good!”
